**What do you like best about HireRight?**

I like HireRight because it usually has a quick turnaround for background checks, which is really helpful for our hiring process. I also find it valuable that it provides us with the details we need to make informed decisions, like if someone has several speeding tickets, which could affect their suitability for positions that involve driving. The initial setup was very easy too; I believe I got access within a day. Overall, I like how HireRight works.

Sometimes the turnaround could take weeks, it's rare but it happens.

**What problems is HireRight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use HireRight for 50 state background checks. It quickly provides me with criminal activity details and other necessary information, like traffic offenses, which helps prevent unsuitable hires, especially for driving roles.

**What do you like best about HireRight?**

I like that HireRight is an easy-to-use platform, even if it's someone's first time using it, and it's pretty straightforward. It's very user-friendly. I appreciate the communication features, like getting an email notification when a new hire submits their information, or if there's a delay or upon completion of the background check. This keeps me in the loop without having to constantly check the status. The reliability of the platform is also something I value. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.

Nothing comes to mind.

HireRight saves me from doing background checks myself. It's user-friendly, easy to navigate even for first-timers, and keeps me updated via email on the status of checks, so I don't have to keep checking.

**What do you like best about HireRight?**

I like HireRight because of their timely responses and their willingness to support us even if it's not during work hours. We use it as a main resource for random drug testing and background checks for both new hires and current employees. I also find the initial setup to be very easy.

**What do you dislike about HireRight?**

Sometimes the communication can be clunky, specifically when we submit the random drug test via FedEx. We receive an email that they have not received the specimens, and then there's another email that comes in right after that says they have received it. So that sometimes creates a confusion.

HireRight helps ensure compliance with our drug and alcohol policy through random drug tests.

I enjoy how easy it is to use and maneuver around to find things.  The organization of the site makes it very functional and easy to use.   Because I do the hiring for a lot of staff on campus and need to have things processed sooner than later I appreciate the quick turnaround as well.  Also because of this I use it very often.  It is very user friendly when training other staff on how to use the site.

There is nothing that I have come across that makes me dislike it

I appreciate being able to see all the requests on the dashboard and being able to resend the request if it expires with just a click instead of having to re-do the request or have multiple places to view requests.

I really like the data sources that higher right pulls in, but from a functionality standpoint, the dashboard is really simple and easy to use and you can see exactly where the steps are for your applicant with their background check using higher rights application

I can’t really think of a downside other than maybe some enhancements with the UI but the UI overall works really well

I enjoy the HireRight I-9 new platform through Gryphon. It's enhances have really made the I-9 process more seamless and has eliminated a lot of work compared to the legacy I-9 platform. We always receive great customer support.

**What do you dislike about HireRight?**

I would like to see the I-9 forms that we have on the HireRight I-9 legacy platform be integrated into the new I-9 platform through Gryphon. We have a few hundred of these and would like to get to a place where we operate solely in the new platform. It would take a very long time if we manually uploaded each I-9 into the new platform.

HireRight performs all of our background checks and I-9/E-Verify checks.

**What do you like best about HireRight?**

HireRight is the standard for DOT/FMCSA backgrounds, motor vehicle records and other required searches.  Good reporting and they provide continuing education regarding screening and legal issues impacting transportation companies and organizations that employ drivers.

**What do you dislike about HireRight?**

With the volume of screenings we do, the bill is a lot to manage.  Would like to get a statement in Excel or Sheets to be able to sort and make it easier to look for issues before the invoice.

HireRight provided high quality compliant results that allow our compliance group to focus on other aspects of maintaining driver qualification files and having a compliant over the road trucking fleet.

There's a small gap in communication during the screening process that could be improved upon, but might not be possible due to HIPAA and privacy laws.

**What do you like best about HireRight?**

We are in a growth spurt phase for our business and HireRight was quick to implement and integrate into our onboarding process. I was super impressed at what they could offer us, due to high volume of new hires and how frequently we use the system. I can run backgrounds on 30 people in a matter of 30 mins. It is super easy, and the customer support has been incredible. Plus, HireRight is extremely communicative through any issues you may have with a background.

I don't have any dislikes with HireRight.

**What problems is HireRight solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick turnaround times saves me time, plus I didn't have to hire another employee to help with this so less payroll. I also use the system to make sure the employees that are driving company vehicles are great drivers and it saves on our insurance.

Customer service could be better. It's not that our CS rep could be better, it's just that she's always busy with something else.

Their customer service is terrible.  Multiple CS reps answer your question and take too long to get back to you, if they ever do.  You usually have to follow up with them and they typically don't know what you're talking about.  They also never answer the phone.

None, the UI is poor and the service is poor. Nothing to offer, really.

**What do you dislike about HireRight?**

I had an extremely disappointing experience with HireRight. They seem to exert no effort in verifying credentials with former employers. All of my previous employer HR teams are very responsive, as evidenced by the email threads I had with all of them. I was able to request and receive any document needed within less than 24 hours, even from employers I worked for over 5 years ago.

I submitted literally EVERYTHING that HireRight asked for, yet they rejected EVERY document provided by my previous employers, claiming they were not valid. This is baffling, considering these were the exact documents requested by HireRight. Without even attempting to call or email my former employers to verify the documents, they were all tagged as invalid.

Additionally, the notification feature for updates does not work, even when properly set. I received no updates throughout the process, which added to the frustration. This level of negligence is unacceptable and unprofessional. I cannot recommend their services to anyone in need of accurate and reliable background verification.

They provide a thorough and complete review of the requested information regarding background checks.  Easy to use.  Customer Support is able to assit when there was an issue that needed to be discussed in order to reach solution.

Sometimes it can take longer than anticipated for the report to be completed in full however that is due to a delay in the courts responding not the fault of HIRERIGHT

When a drug screen needed to be rescheduled, the customer service employee was able to guide me thru the process and successfully reschedule the appointment.

It does take much longer to get results because it now has to go through a middleman instead of direct from the source, but the added protection and security makes up for that.
