The main limitation for me is that the courses are currently offered only in English. Even though the platform itself is high quality, this can be challenging for non-native speakers. That said, when I asked Cosmo (the AI assistant) to explain the course materials in another language, it was able to do so, which I found very helpful. Still, because the core platform and content aren’t natively localized, the overall experience isn’t completely seamless. There’s a huge selection of coding challenges, and I like that you can pick different difficulty levels or focus on specific topics. I do get the sense that CodeSignal puts a lot of weight on how quickly I can finish challenges, which can get a bit stressful and take the focus away from writing really clear or thoughtful code. CodeSignal’s user interface is second to none; it allows us to design our own assessments using adaptive programming questions that cover all bases. Also, the automatic assessment is fantastic; applicants (in this case, developers) receive instant feedback on how they are doing, and we can see a deep assessment of their skills as they develop. Truely I am impressed by codeSignal Software. As such there is no dislike about CodeSignal as far as my experience is concerned. But some users have found that the difficulty of the coding challenges can be inconsistent, with some challenges being overly complex, while others are too easy.
