"Asana is a game changer!"
What do you like best about Asana?

Asana has made project and task management a breeze for my team and I. Before Asana, we were in a bad habit of creating spreadsheet after spreadsheet, losing valuable data along the way. With Asana, I'm able to help keep myself and my team on track with higher arching goals while staying in the nitty-gritty of daily goals. I love the status updates and reports available to showcase progress over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I don't have any particular dislikes, Asana does project management right. I would say that there is a learning curve to use Asana is the most efficient way, however. It takes a bit of trying things out and testing what works, but that's how anything goes! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly and Feature-Rich—A Seamless Addition to My Workflow"
What do you like best about Asana?

I love the user-friendliness of Asana. It's relatively simple to understand and use. The "rules" feature is also really nice as it can streamline certain aspects of my duties and what I need to finish in a timely manner. I also enjoy the calendar feature, since it lays out the timeline of certain projects. I really enjoy the template feature for projects too as it cuts down my time on creating new forms. It's great to integrate into my work day and I like that there is the feature to "email" asana to create a task from a certain email, it makes the incorporation and workflow so much easier to use. As someone who is new-ish to this software, I have greatly appreciated it's features and accessibility in my workday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I would say that I dislike that you have to add templates to projects individually. There doesn't seem to be a way to add templates to multiple projects at once, which is only a small hindrance. For larger projects/portfolios, I wish there was a way to 'assign' those things to me so they don't slip off my radar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Organization Features"
What do you like best about Asana?

What I like best about Asana is how it keeps all my tasks and projects organized in one place. I appreciate the clarity it provides on deadlines, priorities, and responsibilities, which helps me stay on track and manage my workload efficiently. I also like the collaboration features, since it makes communicating and coordinating with team members much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

One thing I find challenging about Asana is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming when there are a large number of tasks or projects, making it harder to quickly find what’s most important. Additionally, some features, like advanced reporting or automation, can be a bit complex to set up, which may require extra time or guidance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Asana Brings Structure and Clarity to Our Operations"
What do you like best about Asana?

What I like best about Asana is its flexibility for building real operational workflows, not just simple task lists. It allows us to structure work with clear ownership, dependencies, and standardized tasks that reflect how work actually happens across teams.

It provides strong visibility without micromanagement and integrates well with tools like Slack and HubSpot, which makes automation and cross-team coordination much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Asana is very powerful, but that flexibility can come with a learning curve if workflows and standards aren’t clearly defined upfront. Without good structure, teams can overcomplicate task setups or use it inconsistently.

That said, once templates and governance are in place, Asana becomes very efficient and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Onboarding and Flexible Task Management in Asana"
What do you like best about Asana?

I appreciate how easy it is to start working in Asana even with minimal setup, and this simplicity realy helps teams get moving fast. The interface offers several ways to view tasks which makes it flexible for different workstyles. I also find it extremely helpful that Asana integrates smoothly with other apps which reduces a lot of manual effort throughout the week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

One thing I notice is that some advanced features can feel a bit hidden which slows me down at times. The amount of notifications can become overwhelming if they are not managed well, and that's a smal irritation that builds up over time. I also think that some integrations take a little longer to configure than I would expect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automated Reminders and Summaries Make Project Tracking Effortless"
What do you like best about Asana?

1. The system provides automated reminders to the assignee, which helps keep tasks on track.

2. Additionally, it generates weekly summaries of project or portfolio progress and status automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

1. Firstly, it would be helpful to have a recycle bin feature that allows users to recover deleted tasks or projects within a set period, such as 14 days, before they are permanently removed. This would give users a chance to restore items they may have deleted by mistake.

2. Secondly, adding keyboard shortcuts for quicker updates and navigation would greatly improve efficiency. Relying solely on the mouse, especially the left-click, can be time-consuming and tends to slow down the workflow for project managers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accountability has improved!"
What do you like best about Asana?

I value Asana for its functionality. Having previously used other tools like Workfront in a large enterprise setting and Monday.com at a smaller agency, I’ve noticed that each platform offers features tailored to different organizational needs. What sets Asana apart for me is its method of assigning responsibility: only one user is marked as accountable for completing a task, while others can be added as collaborators without being the main stakeholder. In contrast, other platforms often allow multiple people to share responsibility for a single task, which can lead to confusion. Asana’s approach has greatly minimized internal misunderstandings in my experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I'm not especially pleased with how the views are organized. Sometimes, it's hard to review the dashboard and get a clear overview of the tasks for each project, as well as for each team as a whole. Moving quickly between tasks and their subtasks can also be tricky. Although having subtasks within subtasks might appear helpful, I've noticed that if these aren't thoroughly described, important details can be missed. This can result in tasks being overlooked, particularly when deadlines or proper assignments are missing. My main issue is that you have to assign admins to every single team or project individually in order for them to have editing permissions, which is both tedious and occasionally difficult to manage. "Effortless Task Management and Collaboration"
What do you like best about Asana?

I like how effortlessly i can manage my tasks with the help of Asana. I usally work on collaborations with brands as a content creator and it does have deadlines, so i can easily create my to do list based on particular dates, and complete my work easily before the deadline. I love the details it provides, like which tasks are pending, overdue and even send you notifications of pending tasks, so i can keep a track. I can even work with my manager and distribute tasks with each other, the thing is i like how fun it makes task handling work. Love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Some of the important features require an upgrade, for example, auto notifying my team members about the pending tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Project Organization and Team Collaboration"
What do you like best about Asana?

I love how easy Asana makes it to organize projects, assign tasks, and keep everyone on the same page. The boards, timelines, and subtasks give me a clear picture of what’s in progress and what’s coming next. It’s especially helpful for managing multiple clients and deadlines at once, and the reminders and notifications make sure nothing slips through the cracks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

Sometimes Asana can feel a bit overwhelming for new team members because there are so many views and options. A few features are slightly hidden in menus, so it can take a minute to figure out where things are. It would also be nice if reporting and time-tracking were more robust without needing extra integrations. Overall, the benefits still far outweigh these small drawbacks. "Effortless Organization and Team Coordination"
What do you like best about Asana?

I really appreciate how user-friendly Asana is. Learning to use it was quick and straightforward, which is a big plus because it saves us from needing any formal training sessions, making the initial setup a breeze. This ease of use is particularly beneficial when onboarding new team members, as they can start using the platform without any hassle—it's truly plug-and-play friendly. I find the quick and easy setup invaluable for my organization, streamlining our processes effectively. On top of that, I think the functionality of Asana is perfect, meeting all my productivity needs flawlessly. My preference for the app over the web version shows just how well the application performs for me. I'm so satisfied with Asana that I would rate my likelihood of recommending it to a friend or colleague a solid 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

My only gripe is that when I open Asana tasks via email, it doesn't open in the app. I prefer using the app over the web version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Integration, But Task Assignment Limits"
What do you like best about Asana?

I appreciate how Asana's API is more user-friendly with higher rate limits, which significantly enhances my workflow by allowing the uploading of larger batches of data efficiently. The ease of data replication through Asana due to the integration with my replication vendor is a major advantage. I find the initial setup of Asana to be very easy, which helped me transition to using the software with minimal effort and inconvenience. The ability to use Asana in tandem with other tools like Stitchdata and Airflow for data replication and orchestration seamlessly fits into my work processes, making the entire experience smooth and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I dislike that Asana does not allow assigning multiple people to tasks, which is a limitation in cases where collaboration from team members across different departments is necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
