"Flexible, Easy-to-Build Forms with Reliable Performance and Great Integrations"
What do you like best about Cognito Forms?

Cognito Forms makes it straightforward to build and customize forms without a steep learning curve. The platform feels flexible, and the option to add basic coding gives you room for more advanced functionality when you need it. Pricing is competitive, especially since you can monetize your forms and turn them into a revenue stream for your business. It also performs quickly and reliably, and integrations like Microsoft 365 make it easy to generate PDFs and streamline workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cognito Forms?

The platform limits form submissions and documents, which can feel restrictive as my use cases grow. More importantly, advanced template customization is locked behind the highest-tier plan, which makes it difficult to scale functionality without taking on a significant jump in pricing. "Cognito Forms Streamlined Our Real Estate Workflows with Reliable Performance and Support"
What do you like best about Cognito Forms?

Cognito Forms dramatically improved our internal processes for data collection for both sides or our real estate transactions - both buyers and sellers. Our agents, either at a meeting with a homeowner or afterwards, are able to pull up an applicable form and provide all the data needed for us to take a transaction to the next level. The experience we gained by enhancing our internal workload allowed us to expand the use of Cognito Forms to where we now create consumer-friendly registraion forms to invite our clients to marketing events. The ability to embed images, dropdown fields and check boxes made a world of difference in improving response rates to registration forms. And the ability to filter replies for onward email forwarding to select staff members is perfect. We've never experienced downtime with the service, and the support staff is excellent in both the timing and quality of their replies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cognito Forms?

There is very little we don't like about the service. Perhaps page settings and adding banners could be easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly, Consistently Branded Forms with Helpful Support"
What do you like best about Cognito Forms?

I like being able to brand each of my forms, create templates, and then use those templates to produce consistent, branded forms—even when other users on my team are the ones creating them. The software is user-friendly and has a short learning curve, which reduces the amount of time I need to spend training new employees. We’ve had very few issues with the product overall, and when I’ve had questions, the support team has been extremely helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cognito Forms?

I honestly haven’t found a downside to using the form so far. The only development suggestion I have would be to allow an email to be generated automatically when a status is changed. For example, if I mark an entry as “Not Authorized,” it would be helpful if it could send an email with templated text letting the person know they aren’t authorized. That said, there are other ways to handle this, and the same task can be done differently as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Dynamic, Flexible Forms with Seamless Zapier Integration."
What do you like best about Cognito Forms?

The ability to easily create dynamic forms. I like how you can create forms that can expand or contract based on what the user is answering. The ability to integrate the forms into where-ever you want. We also use Zapier to port form information into other areas of our business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cognito Forms?

The only thing I miss with Cognito Forms is the ability to proof email addresses. In a form I can enter an email address and have Cognito Forms send that address a copy of the form. The only problem I have have is if the email address is incorrect, there is no feedback to such and therefore the form gets emailed to nowhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use and Crucial for Data Management"
What do you like best about Cognito Forms?

I like the ease of use in Cognito Forms. The user interface is one of the best I've experienced, making setting up and editing our application easy and straightforward. The platform is also easy to customize for our needs. The price point is nice considering the features available. Any customer service we've needed over the years has been helpful and nice. Additionally, I know the initial setup was reported to be easy and straightforward, and it went smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cognito Forms?

Honestly, there's not much that we would change with Cognito Forms. Two factor authentication, while obviously a nice security feature, has been a challenge for us in the past given that we have multiple staff members who use the platform. But I get that. Also, while probably not something that could be changed, we would benefit from having the ability to automatically pull the information into other data capturing platforms. "Intuitive Form Design, Streamlined Workflows"
What do you like best about Cognito Forms?

I love that Cognito Forms allows me to send clients a quick link to complete important documents, which streamlines the work for me as a small business owner. I appreciate being able to design the forms myself, and it's pretty intuitive. Adding a signature line and the guidance to create documents are features I find really useful. The ability not to use multiple channels, documents, and workflows to achieve less paper and hassle for both me and my clients is also a big plus. Switching to Cognito Forms from Jot Forms was a good decision because it was better and allowed us to achieve our goals. The initial setup was pretty easy too, which made the transition smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cognito Forms?

I would like more templates available for my current plan so I don't feel like I have to start forms from scratch. Also, more directives on forms for HR professionals would be great. It would be beneficial if Cognito Forms could attach to my website and collect payment, which I'm not sure is possible at my price point. I still need to learn more about the tool. "Customizable, User-Friendly, but Lacks Visual Feedback Tools"
What do you like best about Cognito Forms?

I use Cognito Forms for my professional teaching association, and I like how it makes things easy by eliminating the need for paper-based forms. It's great for collecting information and analyzing it easily. I appreciate that it's customizable, allowing forms to mimic paper-based forms with lots of functionality and structure. Its ease of use is a standout for me, as people find it familiar and easy to use when electronic forms look like paper ones. I also like that you can change the size of fields to avoid wasting space on the screen. Things can be grouped together easily, which adds to its utility. Previously, I used tools like SurveyMonkey and Microsoft Forms, but found that Cognito Forms has a lot more functionality. Setting it up was fairly straightforward and logical for creating and building forms, making simple solutions quite easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cognito Forms?

Probably the only thing is when you're using it for feedback forms, it doesn't create visuals like charts and things like that. So it's not great for collecting feedback in a way that visualizes the responses as some survey platforms do. But it's not specifically designed for this, so the lack of this feature is understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Email Delivery and WordPress Integration"
What do you like best about Cognito Forms?

The forms are easy to setup and offer lots of input options for different types of forms. As a web agency, I especially like that the email delivery is so reliable. The forms can be integrated into our WordPress websites, without having to worry about SMTP issues. Most of our customers use the free option, however the paid options offer some very useful features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cognito Forms?

The only issue that I have come across is with the free version of Cognito. During the build process, I prefer to setup the account using my own email. That way I don't have to bother the customer by asking for access. However there is no way to 'handover' the free account to the customer without purchasing a paid plan. "Highly Adaptable and Efficient Form Management"
What do you like best about Cognito Forms?

I use Cognito Forms for work, and it handles our daily workload submissions like appraisals, contracts, and application forms. The system is highly adaptable, making it easy to manage and update tasks efficiently. What I like the most is the ability to generate and send a secure link directly to the counterparty, allowing them to quickly and easily complete the required details themselves. This feature is valuable as it reduces my workload and enables us to carry out compliance checks more efficiently without the need to write on paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cognito Forms?

An improvement to the system could be the ability to save and remember contact details for participants, allowing required documents and links to be sent more quickly and efficiently. This would require manually re-entering information each time, streamline communication, and improve overall workflow efficiency when managing repeat or ongoing contracts.
