"Efficient Task Management with Asana"
What do you like best about Asana?

I love using Asana for managing tasks and creating projects, which significantly drives efficiency in my business. I appreciate how Asana supports both efficiency and collaboration, enabling everyone on my team to easily contribute their input into tasks and projects. The interface is easy to use, which helps with task management, making it simple for everyone to see what work has been completed. Additionally, the task creation and management features are particularly valuable to me as they provide clarity and transparency in our workflow. The initial setup of Asana was straightforward, which made the transition smooth. I also find it beneficial to integrate Asana with Microsoft 365 and Outlook, which enhances my team’s workflow. With all these features, I feel confident giving Asana a recommendation score of 9 out of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I find searching for information in Asana challenging, especially when it comes to older tasks. It's not always easy to locate them, which can disrupt efficiency. It would be beneficial if tasks were listed alphabetically, allowing completed or pending tasks to be organized in this manner to enhance searchability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Design Meets Robust Functionality"
What do you like best about Asana?

I love how Asana strikes the perfect balance between intuitive design and robust functionality, making it an ideal tool for both startups and larger organizations. The onboarding process is seamless, with a minimal learning curve, allowing teams to quickly adopt the platform. This results in clear workflows and improved collaboration across departments almost instantaneously. What truly sets Asana apart is its ability to seamlessly support both day-to-day task management and long-term strategic planning. The flexibility it offers is remarkable, with genuinely helpful automation features and reliable integrations that aid in focusing on the meaningful work instead of battling with the tool. This seamless experience is further enhanced by highly reliable integrations with other tools like Google, Microsoft, and Slack, making Asana an indispensable part of my work toolkit. What do you dislike about Asana?

I find that Asana does not always show an appropriate timeline, which can be frustrating when trying to manage project timelines effectively. Additionally, I wish Asana offered more flexible charts such as burndown charts, velocity reports, earned value management metrics, team capacity heat maps, and phase-based progress tracking to better support advanced project management needs. "User-Friendly with Effective Task Management"
What do you like best about Asana?

I find Asana to be incredibly user-friendly, which greatly enhances my experience using it for work. Its intuitive nature allows me to track tasks effectively without unnecessary complexity. I particularly appreciate the task tracking on a calendar feature, as it enables me to arrange my deliverables for the month efficiently. This functionality helps me manage time and keep track of due dates seamlessly. Additionally, the learning curve was minimal for me, as I was onboarded quickly, signaling how easy it was to learn. Asana’s design ensures that I can dive right into organizing my tasks with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I don't know what all is on there. It would be nice to organize tasks by highest priority on my day-to-day list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Organization with Minor Duplication Hiccups"
What do you like best about Asana?

I find Asana to be incredibly easy to use, which enhances my efficiency in organizing business tasks. The interface is particularly clear and intuitive, making it straightforward to understand and navigate. This ease of use extends to my professional work as well, where I’ve found Asana instrumental in staying on top of various marketing and social media tasks that I need to manage weekly. Working with a team, I’ve appreciated how Asana provides clarity and consistency in tracking the progress of writing projects. It offers well-structured pathways that allow me to easily determine where I am in a process and understand what tasks are due next. Additionally, setting up Asana was a breeze, requiring minimal effort to get started. I am so satisfied with its performance that I would rate it a 10 out of 10 in terms of recommending it to others. What do you dislike about Asana?

I had difficulty using the duplication function in Asana because it didn't work like Google Calendar, causing confusion. Initially, I couldn't understand why my duplicates weren't placed correctly. Unlike Google Calendar, where I can create a duplicate or similar task for a different day and immediately change the date and time, Asana requires me to create the task first and then move it to the desired date and time, which involves more steps. "Streamlined Task Management, Needs Visual Enhancements"
What do you like best about Asana?

I use Asana for project management and personal academic management, and I appreciate its ability to enhance efficiency by ensuring tasks do not fall through at all. Asana helps me stay on track, ensuring that team members are clear on their responsibilities and timelines. It aligns the team towards the same goals. I find the calendar feature particularly valuable because it allows me to visualize work burden across dates effectively, enabling better planning and resource allocation. Additionally, I appreciate the seamless integration with Slack, which facilitates smooth communication and coordination within my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I find that the initial setup of Asana wasn't intuitive. It required conscious discussion and the help of an Asana coordinator to effectively integrate it into our routine. Additionally, a colleague mentioned that they wished Asana was more visual. Specifically, they wanted the ability to play with colors and have different colors for different tasks to enhance the visual aspect of task management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Project Management with Intuitive Organization"
What do you like best about Asana?

I love how Asana allows me to keep everything organized and understand how different tasks fit within the timeline, ensuring I am aware if we are ahead or behind schedule. This functionality provides me with a holistic view of multiple projects at once, making task management significantly more efficient. I also appreciate the rules automation feature, which reduces the need for repetitive tasks, saving time and effort. The initial setup of Asana was very easy, which I found extremely convenient. Additionally, I value the integration with Slack, as it enhances communication and coordination with my team significantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I think it would be great if you can automatically assign dates a certain number of days after another task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Customizable and Easy to Use, But Needs Task Authorization Feature"
What do you like best about Asana?

I use Asana to create team projects for each research study across all of my sites, and I truly appreciate its ability to streamline and simplify our project management tasks. The customizable rules feature is particularly beneficial, allowing me to tailor project and template setup according to our specific needs. I find Asana extremely easy to use, which significantly eases the process of monitoring task completion and tracking what still needs to be done. For our new research studies, having a tool like Asana to track timelines and ensure all paperwork is submitted to sponsors promptly has been invaluable. I also appreciate the ability to create separate teams for each site, making it straightforward for company members to access the specific information and templates they need and monitor progress. Setting up rules such that completed tasks automatically change status and have dates populated is superb, as it provides clear visibility on completion timelines. Additionally, the subtasks and due dates functionalities mean tasks can be broken down into manageable chunks, and reminders are in place to ensure deadlines are met. Setting up Asana was also pretty straightforward, and once understood, training others on its use is uncomplicated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I would love for there to be an option for someone to 'sign off' on a task. For some of the paperwork and work that we do, we need to have proof that someone has signed off on a task. If Asana could add a feature where when the task is checked off, it would show who signed off on it that would be perfect. The reason this would be useful is because anyone can mark a task as complete and we would never know who. We would just be assuming that the task was checked off by the assignee but really anyone could check off that task. There have been documents and templates that we have wanted to use Asana for but have not been able to because of this reason. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Flexible, and Great for Collaboration"
What do you like best about Asana?

I use Asana to manage projects and priorities, as well as to handle tasks related to leads that don't yet fit in our CRM. I appreciate how it serves as a great place to keep track of project status and allows me to easily share that information with all the necessary team members. I love how fast and easy it is to use, providing us with a lot of flexibility in the type of information we can save. Asana's features are great for collaboration and ensuring that work doesn't fall behind, making it a valuable tool for maintaining productivity and coherence within my team. The initial setup was also very easy, which was a pleasant surprise for integrating a new tool. I find these aspects make Asana an appealing choice for project management tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I find Asana's many features overwhelming, which makes it challenging to figure out how to best utilize them. Additionally, while there are AI features available, it is unclear how we can effectively integrate and use them alongside the other tools mandated by our company. "Essential for Organization, Incredibly User-Friendly"
What do you like best about Asana?

I love how Asana keeps me organized in managing the multiple businesses I own; without it, I would be lost. I find it incredibly easy to set up projects and tasks, and the Asana calendar is fantastic for tracking due dates. The ability to set up projects for each client and then define all the necessary tasks with due dates is a game-changer for my workflow. The calendar feature allows me to see what is due each day across all my projects, which is essential for maintaining my schedule. I also appreciate how user-friendly Asana is, even for newcomers, making the initial setup super easy. This ease of use stands out and shows how Asana values user experience, ensuring that anyone can dive into it without hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

I would love for Asana to incorporate with ChatGPT. ChatGPT helps me manage my daily tasks, and currently, I have to manually set them up in Asana. An integration between these two tools would streamline my workflow and save time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Project Management Savior"
What do you like best about Asana?

Asana does an exceptional job at helping me organize all of my projects and tasks on a daily basis. It is perfect for long-term planning, as well as solidifying quick, simple tasks. I use it every day. Collaboration is also a huge factor in Asana that positively impacts workflow for the whole team. I would highly recommend it for any agency of any size. You can't go wrong with a project management system in place like Asana. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Asana?

The only downside that I experience is being able to assign multiple people to an individual ticket. When a team is working on something together, I often set-up a subtask and assign them individually, so it's on their calendar. Nevertheless, they're delivering one asset together. In that sense, it would be nice to have an individual task be assigned to at a minimum two people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
