## Asana Reviews
 ### 1. We run our whole business through it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Perry P. | Marketing Operations Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

It's easy to use, it integrates with Slack for us which is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Pricing still, remains biggest bugbear. The fact you have to buy seats in chunks of 5 impacts smaller businesses like us.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to keep the whole team in one place working on tasks, across a range of clients - it means everyone knows exactly where to find tasks and how projects are managed. It's just a great tool for keeping everything working. We use it every day on the whole business and tbh we couldn't work without it now.

 ### 2. Asana Makes Team Task Management and Collaboration Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raimi N. | Video Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana is an excellent tool for task management and team collaboration. Its intuitive interface, project timelines, and integrations with tools like Slack and Google Drive make it simple to stay organized, coordinate with others, and keep projects on track.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The free plan is quite limited, and the pricing for premium features can be steep for small teams. The mobile app could also be more responsive and feature-rich compared to the desktop version.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me stay organized by centralizing all tasks and deadlines in one place. It eliminates confusion around task ownership, reduces back-and-forth emails, and keeps the whole team aligned. As a result, I save time, meet deadlines more consistently, and have better visibility into project progress.

 ### 3. Streamlined Task Management with Impressive Automations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patti P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that in Asana, you can create a project/workflow and automate it so you don't have to manually move it to a specific section of your workflow. Asana does this for you, allowing you to see the project from start to finish. It gives me confidence in my team, knowing that tasks are completed when checked off, making the workflow smoother for everyone. Our specific automated workflow for expense reports impressed everyone with how much easier it is compared to the old paper process. I heard the initial setup was pretty seamless with the Asana team.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

We tried basically setting up an excel type of spreadsheet to track our money in projects, and funds available but there were too many manual updates that had to be done. It would be nice to have something like that in a more automated workflow.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps track day-to-day tasks and projects, even across cities. It automates workflows, like expense reports, making them smoother and more efficient. I can trust my team to see tasks through and track their progress easily.

 ### 4. Good for Project Management, Needs Improved Note Features

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niki P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that we can make multiple projects, and within each project, we can have multiple different to-do lists that are in the same view. I really like the AI features that help me set automatic rules about who to assign tasks to. I like that I can add notes to each task, and I often include a Google Docs link that is related to that task. The initial setup was pretty easy, it took me a minute to learn all the features, and I had to watch some videos, otherwise, it was pretty straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It would be helpful if I could more easily take running notes in Asana. These might be attached to a task or live in a more permanent place that I can revisit once a week to see everything that has happened to date.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to categorize and track our lengthy task list across 15-20 workstreams. I like managing multiple projects with distinct to-do lists in one view. The AI automates task assignments, and I can add notes to tasks, often including Google Docs links.

 ### 5. Great for Personal Task Management, but Setup Could Be Simpler

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daron M. | Regional Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I do like the My Task feature because I think it's pretty simple. For someone who isn't looking to use Asana for extensive tasks, it's very straightforward. It helps me make sure I'm paying my bills on time and doing my chores. I think that's very good. But I can also use it for tasks that I need to accomplish during a day at work.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish there was just a template for people who want to use it for just very simple tasks. I think there's this element where it becomes overly complicated and it doesn't need to be. For example, I don't need some extensive template for the projects that I'm working on. I would rather it just give me a suggestion for a list that I can use to just knock off everyday tasks. It was not easy to sign up just for a person. I had to choose a work group and all of these other things, but some people like myself just wanna use it as an efficiency tool to help me stay organized.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to stay organized and prioritize tasks, making sure I pay bills on time and do chores. It's also useful for work tasks.

 ### 6. Asana Makes Tracking Tasks, Deadlines, and Accountability Effortless.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Monak P. | Process Support Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I think Asana is useful for tracking repetitive operational requests, as well as internal follow-ups within teams. I use it to track changes in statuses, tasks, as well as deadlines, making it easier to see who is accountable for what, thus avoiding many communication challenges.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

A limitation in reporting is that extra configuration is needed if you wish to have deeper performance insights.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using Asana, updates regarding the operation of the system were documented in a way that used shared documents like a spreadsheet and email threads. However, it was difficult to visualize the workload or identify overdue work within the system using the traditional approach. The use of Asana allowed us to have a system where the ownership of the tasks is more transparent.

 ### 7. User-Friendly with Robust Project Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew G. | Project Management Specialist of the Convention Division, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I most enjoy that Asana is easy for end users to use. Asana has been the easiest for my team to adopt, especially since we didn't previously use project management tools. It's easy to assign and reassign tasks and to create templates of projects that we often revisit. I appreciate the visible progress across portfolios. Task reassignment is straightforward, allowing us to delegate tasks efficiently. Template creation is a time-saver, especially with recurring tasks, letting us set predetermined date ranges for due dates without adding them annually. I value the visible progress tracking, which shows a percentage completion on projects, helping us determine what we are ahead on, what we're behind on, and what needs further attention.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The notifications are a little bit difficult, and my team often receives many more notifications than they would like via email. We can't simply disable them because it would be for everything. I'd like to see more customization in what kind of cadence these notifications go out and what information they'd detail.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana allows my team to collaborate across departments, track tasks at a managerial level, and prevent overdue projects. It streamlines task reassignment, simplifies template creation for recurring tasks, and enables visible progress tracking to manage project timelines efficiently.

 ### 8. Simplicity with Robust Features and User-Friendly Design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana strikes the perfect balance between simplicity and powerful functionality, making it an exceptional tool for tracking transactions, managing team communication, and building automated checklists. The automated date-driven reminders are invaluable for ensuring strict deadlines are never missed. It provides crystal-clear visibility into team responsibilities and due dates, which is essential when coordinating operations remotely. Despite having all the advanced rules and tracking systems I need to manage complex pipelines, the platform remains incredibly intuitive and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One significant limitation is the inability of its native rules to calculate relative dates. For example, if I set a primary due date, I would love the ability to tell Asana to automatically generate a subtask with a deadline exactly 3 days before or after that main date. Currently, Asana struggles with dynamically counting days and automatically updating subtask deadlines if the parent task's date changes. To achieve this level of date automation, I currently have to rely on third-party integrations like Zapier.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the challenge of keeping complex transactions organized and transparent. By centralizing our tracking, communication, and checklists into one platform, it eliminates the risk of missing critical deadlines. The automations and date-driven reminders ensure that nothing falls through the cracks, while clearly defining exactly who is in charge of each step and when it is due. Ultimately, it benefits me by providing complete visibility and accountability across our entire pipeline.

 ### 9. Effortless Task Management, Instant Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Preston E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love how easy Asana is to use and how easy collaboration is. Being able to transfer tasks from one person to another seamlessly within the app is just incredible. You don't have to remember who was going to do what or by when; you can put it all in the app, and it's just taken care of for you. The initial setup was very easy, with almost no setup required. I use it with Slack and Gmail. If there were two things in life that I could sell, it would be Apple products and Asana.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I'm not sure what the limitations on this are, but I do think it would be nice sometimes if more than one user could be assigned to a task.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to manage our accounting projects and tasks. It's easy to use, makes collaboration simple, and allows seamless task transfers. I don't have to remember who does what or when—it's all in the app, making our workflow efficient.

 ### 10. Effortless Setup, Brightens Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janeen G.

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Honestly, I really like the little unicorns or characters that go across the screen once I complete a task. It's a fun touch. I also appreciate how easy it is to list tasks and share them with the team. Setting up Asana was super easy, and having the templates set up is really helpful for keeping things updated or copying them over for new projects.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Probably the levels of the different subscriptions. I'm not sure if we can filter all of my projects into a calendar. Up to one calendar that shows everything that's going on in one place. I haven't seen that happen because we don't have the access to all the dashboards. I didn't like the integration into Google Calendar, but that's where I would want to use it the most.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me manage multiple partnerships simultaneously, keeping track of everything for partners at different stages of implementation and ongoing relationships.

 ### 11. Simplifies Task Management with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maheen M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love using Asana for its user-friendly interface, which makes it easy to communicate tasks with my coworkers and organize my personal tasks. It's fantastic for creating projects and assigning tasks to different departments like marketing or the events team, allowing everyone to track tasks and manage due dates. The way it helps to visualize task priorities with different colors and letters is really beneficial. I appreciate the ease of collaboration, being able to tag colleagues for notifications, and managing events efficiently. The comprehensive feature set, including assigning tasks, creating deadlines, and status updates, simplifies workflow and task management. I also enjoy the easy integration with Google Calendar, making it simpler to track deadlines and important dates. A couple of training videos were enough to get me comfortable with Asana, and the setup was quick and straightforward. Overall, it provides everything on one platform for effective communication and organization across departments. I would definitely rate Asana a 10 for recommendation to others.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

So we are using the free version. I think, if we upgrade it, we would definitely see more benefits. But creating portfolios is something that is not working out currently. We have been just creating projects and assigning tasks to people.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to communicate tasks with coworkers, organize personal tasks, and manage events. It simplifies workflow, helps assign tasks with due dates, and centralizes communication for finance and HR, making everything easier in one platform.

 ### 12. Easy Cross-Team Management with Company-Wide Visibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Easy to manage across different teams and have visibility company wide

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish that there were more status updates available instead of just marking things as complete

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve been using Asana for project management and overall it’s been a really solid tool for keeping everything organized. It makes it easy to track tasks, assign responsibilities, and see where things stand without endless email chains or Slack messages. I especially like being able to break big projects into smaller steps so nothing slips through the cracks.

The interface is pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it, and it’s helpful to see timelines, due dates, and task ownership all in one place. It’s been useful for coordinating with multiple people across different parts of a project.

That said, it can feel a little overwhelming at first because there are so many features and ways to structure things. Once it’s set up properly though, it really helps keep projects moving and everyone on the same page.

 ### 13. Transformative for Clarity and Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like Asana's user interface and the ability to see whatever level of detail I feel like. Multihoming is a standout feature for me, as well as the global custom fields and project-level automation rather than globally. I appreciate the customizability of the My Tasks page and that each task can only have one assignee, which brings clarity to who is responsible for what by when—it essentially serves as a built-in RACI chart. All of these features help bring clarity to our work. Asana, when set up correctly, forces you to define work and allows you to track the same work across multiple projects without duplication. It's the best tool on the market from both the administrator's standpoint and the end-user. It makes the implementation process easy because the tool can scale with the team and can be understood by a novice user but also handles just about anything an advanced user can throw at it.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Some of their interface updates cause work disruptions as they take away features that are useful in an attempt to streamline, but actually make things take more time/clicks. Also the ability to filter a calendar view based on a date custom field would be incredible. Additionally a condition in their rule builder that checks if any subtasks have been completed would be helpful. Also media approval features could use some work. Other than that the tool is near perfect.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps with organization, operational efficiency, dependency management, productivity analysis, reporting, communication, meetings, work intake, and managing publications and time off calendars.

 ### 14. Effective Task Management, Needs Better Mobile App

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like how Asana keeps us on track, ensuring we all know our tasks and when they're due. It helps me and my coworkers keep up with where it is in the editorial process, which is key. It's easy to create tasks, use, and assign them, which is great for our work group. It's not overly complicated to pick up on the software.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I don't like that the mobile app doesn't let me move tasks around within a project which can be a nuisance, as I have to get out my laptop. Furthermore, the app is not always clear or as well laid out.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me organize work by keeping us on track with tasks and deadlines. It's easy to create and assign tasks, which works well for our group to know where we are in the process. It keeps everyone on the same page, and clears up any miscommunications that could occur if we did not use this software.

 ### 15. Highly Customizable Project Tracking That Fits Our Workflow

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The ability to customize a project to align with exactly what we need as a company is great. Tags, customized columns and drop downs all make the tool easy to use for our company. I am accessing Asana 5-8 times a day to update and maintain projects. The AI summaries are a great way to catch up quickly to get a basic understanding of what has been happening with your project. Setting up templates to be reusable is great, and being able to assign exactly who should be on tasks and dates right from the get go cuts down on busy work.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The limitations that exist to roll up project information into a dashboard. Having to upgrade a whole company of members in order for a few people to use the Projects feature is annoying and counter productive. We should be able to create teams and certain teams should. have access to the more powerful tools, not a whole company.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana is allowing us to track the process of a project with ease. Being able to set up as many custom views using filters and groupings makes finding critical information a breeze.

 ### 16. Robust Features but Needs Better Usability

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that Asana is so robust in how we can use it. The ability to have many different options for each project is a big help, especially since we track over 300 projects across the company. Each project is different and needs different things, and Asana's flexibility allows us to cater to these needs.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I would like Asana to be more user-friendly. It's not a simple program to use. It takes a long time to learn, and even when you do, we still don't use it to the fullest because we just don't know how. The initial setup was hard and took a lot of time. More one-on-one training or an account rep would help.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to track over 300 projects, keeping everything organized. Its robustness lets us customize how we manage different projects, fitting our varied needs and making it valuable for project tracking, community tracking, and budget approvals.

 ### 17. Asana Brings Clear Visibility and Organization Across Tasks and Projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco P. | Information Technology Infrastructure Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is the visibility it gives across tasks and projects. It makes it easy to see what needs to be done, who owns each task, and what the priorities are. That helps keep work organized, improves follow-up, and reduces the need to track everything through emails or separate notes.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

What I dislike about Asana is how heavily it depends on everyone keeping tasks up to date. If the team isn’t consistent, information becomes outdated quickly and the tool loses a lot of its value. On top of that, getting everything set up in a clear, efficient way can take time at the start, especially when you’re trying to build more detailed workflows.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps solve the problem of scattered work and unclear ownership. Instead of tracking action items through emails, chats, or separate notes, we can keep tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities in one place. This gives better visibility into progress, makes follow-up easier, and helps ensure that important items do not get missed. The main benefit has been better organization, clearer accountability, and smoother coordination across ongoing work.

 ### 18. A Great Project Management Software For Diverse Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

kanban boards, multi-homing, tweaking to fit our different types of teams. I like that it also integrates with slack for better interconnectivity and the it is very rarely in an outage, so it's reliable.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There needs a bit more flexability with rules. Right now I have to use a third party app (flowsana) to target subtasks. So more rule options and also more form options would be a great improvement. Also making AI agents and bots accessible on non-enterprise plans would be great. Our team will never be big enough for a enterprise plan.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting context to teammates in an effective way. We don't have project managers so Asana allows tasks to route to the right people

 ### 19. Asana: Easy, Reliable Collaboration with a Great UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna G. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana is very easy to use, has a really nice UI, and works reliably. My marketing team has been using it to collaborate for the past few years, and we’ve never run into any issues. I’d definitely recommend it for teams that need a smooth way to collaborate.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There isn't anything I dislike about Asana, it really helps me in my day to day.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me break down larger, more complicated tasks into multiple steps, while keeping my team in the loop by adding them as collaborators. It also helps centralise information, since I use the task description to link to live documents and other content related to the task for internal review.

 ### 20. Improve your professional strategies and goals with Asana's digital resources.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amir S. | Computer Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana is the ideal platform for improving the management and visualization of all your professional strategies and goals, facilitating collaboration with your team and the management of each of your virtual operations.

I can also say that Asana offers customer service dedicated to the needs and requirements of all its customers, improving the experience and use of each of its digital functions.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I have nothing negative to say about Asana's digital features and tools, my experience has been positive and professional and I can recommend each of its work features.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to the use of Asana's digital features, I have been able to improve the management and visualization of all my business strategies, facilitating collaboration with my entire team and the organization of each of my professional operations.

 ### 21. Asana, your personal handy dandy do everything, everywhere, all at once.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul Rudolph A. | Content Developer, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana is a do it all, taskmaster. If you're into Kaizen and what nit, Asana gets your schedule done, backlogs recorded and makes everything easier work wise.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

If there was one thing I'd nitpick about Asana, it would be how project management comes as easy as it goes, every time. No more roundabouts, no deadends, no pitfalls. I mean, can life be any more difficult? Hah!

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a product listing copywriter, Asana helps to assign and track project tasks. More than just a tool for management, Asana helps bridge gaps in comms and rallies everyone to victory with every completed assignment, however difficult or tedious it becomes.

 ### 22. Asana Makes Project Tracking and Team Collaboration Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sweta T. | Information Technology Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana is easy to use and keeps projects organized with task assignments, deadlines, and clear progress tracking, making team collaboration more efficient

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Some advanced features are only available in the paid plans, and new users may need some time to learn all the functionality. The notification settings can also become overwhelming when working on multiple projects.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps organize projects, assign tasks, track deadlines, and improve team collaboration in one place. It provides better visibility into project progress, reduces missed deadlines, and keeps everyone aligned, resulting in more efficient workflow management and improved productivi

 ### 23. Streamlines Teamwork, Needs Better Complex Project Handling

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Panha K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana to manage tasks, track deadlines, and keep projects organized. It helps me plan my work, follow progress, and stay aligned with my team. I like that everything is in one place, so it's easier to prioritize and not miss important tasks. Asana keeps everything organized and easy to follow, allowing me to see what needs to be done, what is coming next, and who is responsible. It saves time and makes teamwork much clearer. I also like that Asana is easy to use and makes teamwork smoother. It helps everyone stay on the same page, follow updates easily, and know what to do next.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Some features can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially when there are many tasks and project sections. It can also take time to set things up in a way that fits the team well. Asana could be improved for complex projects by making large task structures easier to manage. When a project has many sections, subtasks, dependencies, and team members, it can start to feel crowded and harder to follow. Better ways to group related tasks, view dependencies more clearly, and simplify navigation across big projects would help a lot.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to manage tasks, track deadlines, and keep projects organized. It solves the problem of scattered task tracking and unclear follow-ups, helping me and my team stay aligned and prioritize tasks efficiently.

 ### 24. Streamlined Project Management with Custom Fields

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Megan P. | Project Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love how Asana keeps all our information organized and visible to those who need to see it, with dashboards that let us see all our projects at a glance. I like using multihoming for specific tasks and custom fields within projects to have unique fields in different tasks. Making changes in Asana is very simple to visualize and implement.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish information from portfolios could be pulled into projects and tasks. I wish we could easily turn fields and task notes into a summarized PDF or form.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana keeps our information organized and visible, lets us see all projects at a glance, and we use multihoming and custom fields to handle specific tasks efficiently within projects.

 ### 25. Enhances Task Management with Customizable Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love that Asana allows me to create multiple different projects to organize my work and personal tasks, and that each task is so customizable with subtasks, attachments, etc. I have different projects for my work and home life, and I have each project organized differently according to what is most important for each of those lenses. Asana had more features that allowed our large team to work on all of our different projects in one place. The initial setup of Asana for our team was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Some features are behind a paywall that seem simple and wouldn't expect to be part of a premium tier, whereas other high-level features are available at the basic level. Most notably, there is not a way to organize projects into folders without paying for a tier which includes Portfolios. Organizing projects into groups seems like a basic feature that should be available to all users.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana provides a reliable place to track daily tasks, organize work and personal projects differently, and customize tasks with subtasks and attachments, accommodating our large team with diverse projects in one platform.

 ### 26. Invaluable Task Management, Goal, and KPI Tracking with Asana

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Being able to track my daily priorities and clearly see how they connect back to my goals and KPIs is invaluable.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I’m new to Asana, and so far I haven’t come across a single feature I don’t like. Everything I’ve tried has been straightforward and enjoyable to use.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a customer success manager, it’s easy for me to slip into reactive habits. Asana helps me stay focused on the tasks that should be top of mind, so I can keep my priorities clear instead of just responding to whatever comes up next.

 ### 27. Effective Task Coordination, Needs Better Portfolio Tools

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pradeep G. | Head International Cooperations Unit, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like how Asana coordinates tasks with the whole team in one place, making it easier for everyone to stay on the same page. I also appreciate the fields setting feature, which allows me to prioritize and categorize items myself for better visibility and notation on a task level. The initial setup was straightforward, with no challenges, which was a relief given my previous experiences with other tools. These aspects were pivotal in our decision to switch to Asana from other products like Wrike and Trello, especially considering the price to service advantage.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Portfolio management is not the best yet. I would like a better overview on subtasks and how they are integrated into other projects; this is missing right now.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana for task scheduling, workload management, and tracking pending issues. It helps coordinate tasks with my team in one place.

 ### 28. Streamlined Task Management with Excellent Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karel D. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana to manage my work, and what I like most are the integrations. The ease of forwarding a mail to Asana to create a task is really great. I don't have to flag mails anymore, I just forward them, and they include the entire mail history and attachments. It's also quite easy to get started because Asana is just a canvas and the integrations are really easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One improvement would be a way to clean up tasks. Do a profile check for duplicates, enrich your task briefing by doing an AI search through your mails and messages and then propose a briefing, subtasks, collaborators. There is always room for more integrations I guess, maybe with tools like HubSpot, or a more dedicated CoPilot integration.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana for an overview, moving away from just lists, and to easily collaborate with colleagues. It simplifies adding emails as tasks, complete with history and attachments, thanks to its integrations.

 ### 29. Daily Task Tracking That Drives Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antoinette W. | Program Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The ability to track my daily task which will ultimately help me be successful in my role.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It is difficult to say what I do not like about the platform because I haven't used the system for a lengthy period of time.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana will allow me to track my task and the task assigned to my team members.

 ### 30. Versatile Management Tool with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grant S. | Partner & Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that Asana is an app, so we can have it on our phones and computers, and it can also plug into Power BI. We're building out dashboards beyond just what Asana can do, which is a massive help in sharing projects with clients. We can see live updates, which is great. The plugins are really nice, allowing us to use other powerful tools. The initial setup was easy, and using the templates has been awesome.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Being able to tie into QuickBooks to manage time would be really nice.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana gives us a high-level overview of our fifteen clients simultaneously, which is a massive help. It also automates reporting, so we don't waste time doing both project management and reporting manually.

 ### 31. Unmatched Configurability and Streamlined Workflow with Asana

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Robert J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I am absolutely blown away by the power of Asana. It's like a to-do list on steroids, offering significantly more organizational opportunities, and it helps to better organize and communicate with my team. I love the complete configurability, particularly within projects, which allows me to create custom columns and color code them. I find the triggers and automations incredibly powerful, helping establish tasks to appear on my to-do list at a specific time and handle recurring tasks or change priorities. The configurability supports creating custom workflows that are perfect for a small team working on complex projects, and the triggers allow these workflows to be modified based on automated actions.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The only area of improvement I would suggest is the left sidebar. You can only view a finite number of projects, and there are a number of things at the top like the insights section, which I don't use much, eating up real estate that could display more projects at once.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps us manage complex projects through streamlined workflows. Its configurability and automation features let us create custom workflows and triggers, making collaboration seamless across our team.

 ### 32. Easy to Use with Learning Curve for Customization

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bunny Z. | Freelancer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that Asana is easy to use, which helps me manage my personal projects more effectively. I appreciated attending a seminar that taught me how to use some features better. I now know how to customize some buttons and options, making Asana more tailored to my needs rather than just using the template, which felt less accurate. The initial setup of Asana was pretty easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I'm a little confused about the subscription because I want to subscribe to personal since I'm just using it myself and to prepare for a job in program management. I don't really have the money right now, and I'm also not using it to run a profitable company. It says there's a fourteen-day trial, so I was thinking of subscribing to the personal one so that it's free for now.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to organize my personal project details clearly and attractively, enhancing my passion for the work. Learning new features made tasks more accurate and customizable.

 ### 33. Streamlined Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jehz L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like how easy it is to create different dashboards and different types of ways to track projects and integrations with other platforms. There is an AI automation that suggests rules and what to do for the task and assigns tasks automatically to other workmates. These features help because it makes my work more organized. I can finish tasks more efficiently, and I can track what needs to be done and what's not yet done. The initial setup was pretty easy because there are templates available to use. There is live help and Zoom onboarding that introduces the basics, like self-assignment, and how to efficiently use Asana to maximize it.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think the user interface, sometimes it's cluttered and I'm a bit lost but I'm learning how to use it.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to efficiently organize and track our tasks, integrating with multiple platforms smoothly. It makes my work more organized and lets me complete tasks efficiently. Switching from spreadsheets to Asana made tracking projects and assigning tasks easier for our remote team.

 ### 34. Asana Boosts Transparency with a Responsive Community

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara M. | Social Media Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana takes disparate systems and makes them accessible and increases transparency and accountability. They also have a fantastic community of ambassadors with a healthy forum for discussion on how to best take advantage of Asana as well as suggestions on how to make the platform better. Feature requests do not go unanswered, and if it isn't possible they will let you know why.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There are some less impactful features that have been on the roadmap for quite sometime, as other more important work arises. If anything, it is a minor irritant as I have learned in the forum that sometimes my workflow/use case is less common than others.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana grants a significant amount of visibility on a global level. It allows team members to access information ad hoc without needing to wait for their colleagues in a different time zone to see their request. It makes the management of employee tasks much easier as well. Asana is also helping us cut down on redundant documentation/workflows as their tasks can be "multi-homed", or live in multiple projects. With their rules, you can get very specific with automations that work within the Asana ecosystem, or can integrate with a number of prebuilt API integrations with programs like Outlook/Teams, Slack, Jira, etc.

 ### 35. Asana Streamlines Project Management with Powerful Collaboration and Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The features of Asana is its ability to centralize and streamline project management. Teams can collaborate efficiently, track tasks, automate workflows, and gain insights into their progress all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It is overall functionality but can be challenging depending on how teams are structured or their specific needs.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves key problems like disorganization, miscommunication, and lack of accountability within teams. It centralizes tasks, deadlines, and project details in one place, helping teams stay aligned and prioritize effectively. With features like task assignments, real-time updates, and automated reminders, it ensures clear ownership and improves collaboration. Workflow automation reduces manual effort, and reporting tools provide valuable insights to track progress and identify bottlenecks. Overall, Asana streamlines project management, boosts productivity, and enhances team coordination.

 ### 36. Effortless Task Management and Automation for Freelancers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Surbhi B. | Writer, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

As a freelancer, I work with multiple clients at the same time. Managing multiple tasks and ensuring that proper tracking is done is not easy. This is where Asana helps a great deal. It allowed not only to ensure that the project is shared with the respected team members, but also helped me to track the status well. Starting from the allotment to when the task is in progress to completion, it helped me to keep track of every step with ease. The best part was the ability to curate different projects and tasks at the same time. Another helpful feature was the automation. I was not required to constantly check if there was a new allotment or anything. The automates messages and emails ensured that everything was done in time and there were no delays. This helped streamline actions and smooth the entire day's tasks. I was able to integrate it with the existing doc system and clients as well. In fact, when I started using this, I found it very simple to use with no deep tech points that hinder the implementation. I have been using this for almost 2 years now, and I am really happy. Also, the support for any issue was seamless.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There are no major things that I do not like about Asana. But yes, for newbies, it is a bit complicated. While there is a centralised view for every project, there should be an option where they can be notified of what has to be done next, or a sharing module. Rest is all great.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For freelancers like me, Asana is solving the biggest issue of task management. It allowed me to check everything and keep work on track with no problems at all. This app has helped me to manage multiple tasks, save time, and ensure that the work progress is recorded with no delays.

 ### 37. Streamlined Project Management with Asana

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the notifications and the accountability Asana provides. It's great because you can assign owners and timelines, making it easy to track what you're responsible and accountable for delivering and when. It's really clear and really easy, and the workflows make a lot of sense. Onboarding customers through Asana has decreased the amount of time it takes for us to get a retailer live, and we have greater clarity on who is working on what across the business. The setup was very easy, even for those who hadn't used it before, they picked it up quickly.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I feel like I just need to do a little bit of training. I need to find the time to see what Asana can do that I don't know about. I don't think this is an Asana problem. It's more about finding the time to go look for the existing resources.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to onboard customers from presales to BAU, reducing onboarding time and increasing clarity on responsibilities across the business. I like the notifications for accountability, assigning timelines, and the clear, easy workflows.

 ### 38. Powerful Yet Easy to Learn - Asana Streamlines Complex Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melanie M. | Lead Senior Director, Transformation & Client Success, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Powerful features without the steep learning curve.
As a Senior Director of a Healthcare AI company, I need a tool that handles complexity without overwhelming the team. Asana nails this balance. The Timeline view is incredible for mapping out dependencies, and the automated workflows have saved me hours of repetitive admin work. It's robust enough to handle our biggest company initiatives, but simple enough that new hires learn it on day one."

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think all the features are helpful and will be utilized. I do not dislike anything about Asana (other than the price for the Pro version).

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project Management, organization and tracking productivity

 ### 39. Love, love, love asana and our productiveness has increased!

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana has added AI capabilities and towol which make work easier!

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I'd love if churches could be included in the free access possibilites.

**Recommendations to others considering Asana:**

Works best if everyone uses it. So rolling it out is difficult if you have people who don't want to use it. But it is highly useful in project management and organization.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of collaboration, communication holes, processes not working- it has been a great addition to our team in creating synergy and better communication. We have been able to add metrics and evaluations to all we are doing because of it.

 ### 40. Intuitive, Feature-Rich Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** satya r. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I appreciate how Asana helps in providing priority and estimated date columns, along with the use of the calendar view, which helps me get a quick snapshot of my daily and weekly workload. I like the easy navigation and crisp visibility, especially since the Dashboard view is cool. The calendar is also fantastic, and it was easy for me to get used to as I am quite familiar with Outlook. The initial setup of Asana was straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I'm exploring, but it would be nice to add some light music while working on time blocking on Fridays for next week. I saw some light music being played while using the 'Momentum' desktop tool in Edge.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps in providing priority and estimated date columns, along with a calendar view to get a quick snapshot of my daily/weekly workload. I appreciate the easy navigation and crisp visibility, and the Dashboard view is cool.

 ### 41. Structured Project Tracking with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reyansh D. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The timeline planning, custom fields, and seamless integration make organizing projects feel very structured and easy to track. Navigation is straightforward, and the setup process was quick and hassle-free.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Subtasks and main tasks sometimes look too similar, which can make it harder to scan a large project quickly. A bit more visual distinction between them would improve readability and make it easier to find what I need at a glance.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to map out daily priorities with task sections and the timeline view, which keeps projects structured and easy to track. It cuts down on follow-ups and helps the whole team stay aligned on deadlines and responsibilities.

 ### 42. Streamlines Workflows with AI and Custom Rules

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francine E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I enjoy building workflows using specific rules in Asana, especially because the rules can branch and have multiple conditions. I also enjoyed learning about the AI Studio functions and how to build smart workflows with them. Using Asana's rules and AI Studio has helped decrease the time spent on busy work, particularly administrative tasks, allowing my team members more time to focus on meaningful work. The initial setup of Asana was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I would love to see rules for dates to be able to be adjusted based on subtasks. For example, I would love the parent task's due date to automatically adjust to match the latest subtasks' due date. If that could be built into the features for the next round, I would love that.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana organizes our workload, aids capacity planning, and integrates AI, reducing time on busy work to focus on meaningful tasks.

 ### 43. Great platform for task management.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kabir J. | Lead content ecosystem, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana truly shines as a wholesome package for task management, acting as a comprehensive one-stop solution that bridges the gap between high-level strategy and daily execution. By consolidating communication directly within the context of specific tasks, it eliminates the "app fatigue" that usually comes from jumping between email and project tools. This centralized approach ensures that every conversation is tethered to a deliverable, which, combined with their remarkably prompt notification system, keeps teams inherently productive and focused. The ability to visualize these tasks within a calendar view is a significant boon for any project lead, as it transforms a dry list of deadlines into a clear, manageable timeline that makes resourcing feel intuitive rather than a chore.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One of the most impressive "new" additions to the Asana ecosystem is the AI-powered Smart Summaries and the evolution of AI Teammates. These features take that "wholesome package" feel to the next level by automatically distilling long comment threads into brief action items, saving you from digging through old messages. Furthermore, their recent "Words to Workflow" capability allows you to describe a project process in plain English, and Asana’s engine will build out the custom fields, rules, and triggers for you. For a PM juggling multiple workstreams, this automation feels less like a tool and more like an extra set of hands, allowing you to stay in "vibe coding" or deep-work mode longer without getting bogged down in administrative setup.

However, even a 10/10 product has room to evolve, particularly regarding the Inbox experience. While the Inbox serves its purpose as a central hub, it can quickly become overwhelming when a project scales, leading to a "noise" problem where critical updates get buried under a mountain of notifications. To truly reach its potential, the Inbox needs more sophisticated filtering and "triage" features, perhaps incorporating dedicated tools for Pro users that allow for better categorization or snoozing of non-urgent pings. Refining the Inbox to handle high-volume messaging with the same grace that the Calendar handles tasks would make the platform feel truly frictionless for power users and growing teams alike.

**Recommendations to others considering Asana:**

If you have basic task management needs definately go for it.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Asana for task management. It has been great in coordinating with freelancers and the team. It has consolidated our task management workflow into a simple, easy-to-use app.

 ### 44. Asana Keeps Work Organized, Visible, and On Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankit C. | Associate Consultant ( SwitchRetained), Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like Asana because it makes work very organized and easy to track. Tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities are clearly visible, which reduces confusion and improves teamwork. The real-time updates and reminders help ensure that nothing is missed and work gets completed on time.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One thing I dislike is that it can feel a bit complicated for new users at first because there are many features and options. Also, the free version has limited advanced features, so teams sometimes need to upgrade to a paid plan. Sometimes too many notifications can also become distracting.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps solve problems like poor task organization, missed deadlines, and lack of clear communication within teams. It keeps all tasks, deadlines, and updates in one place, making it easier to track progress and assign responsibilities. **Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like that I can track my fundraising goals and have essentially built a live dashboard of data that I can reference at any time - via website or app on my phone. It keeps things organized so I can answer any questions team or board members may have.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The integration with Teams is a little flawed. Some times the notifications may indicate that a team member took an action on a project, when it was really me. It can be a but distracting but I hope that it will be cleaned up soon.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me organize and track all of my important tasks as the come up. I never miss a deadline.

 ### 49. Streamlines Task Management but Needs Better Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matija D. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like Asana's simple UX design, which helps me stay focused on the organization's vision and manage daily tasks effectively. It allows me to organize priorities that align with our mission and efficiently delegate tasks that aren't crucial to me. The initial setup of Asana was pretty easy, which I really appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The connection between Asana and other tools like mail and calendar should be better. The Gmail integration sometimes works and sometimes does not, making it difficult to rely on. Having a reliable email connection could help stay organized with priorities.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to organize team priorities and daily focus with a modern task management tool. It helps me align tasks with my organization's vision and mission and delegate less important tasks.

 ### 50. Organized and Flexible, Easy Team Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for project management and task creation. I like how I can keep my tasks on schedule and am starting to integrate it within my team. What I like most about Asana is that I can create individual projects, and then create tasks and color code them, add statuses to them, and complete them. I really enjoyed the calendar view and the 'my task' option to see overall what is assigned to me. And I really enjoyed using it every single day that I work.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think it would be better if there was a nicer reporting analyzing option where we can pull all of the team's tasks into maybe, like, a weekly task list. This would really help keep the whole team on track across multiple projects.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**
