Spark for Teams is a collaborative email platform builds on the foundation of the Spark email app, which is widely recognized for its smart features that help users manage their email more efficiently. The primary goal of Spark for Teams is to enhance team productivity and streamline communication by offering several key features: 1. \*\*Shared Inboxes\*\*: Teams can collaborate on emails from shared addresses like support@ or info@, ensuring that all team members can access and respond to messages. 2. \*\*Shared Emails\*\*: Stop forwarding or screenshooting your emails to post them into Slack or Microsoft Teams — with Shared Emails you could paste a link and your team will have access to all the email conversations without noisy "adding to cc" emails. 3. \*\*Email Delegation\*\*: Assign emails to team members directly within the app, allowing for clear responsibility and follow-up on tasks. 4. \*\*Team Comments\*\*: Team members can discuss emails internally without forwarding or copying emails back and forth, making internal communication more efficient. 5. \*\*Shared Drafts +AI\*\*: Collaborate on email drafts in real-time, allowing multiple team members to contribute to the creation of important messages. 6. \*\*Templates +AI\*\*: Create and share email templates within the team to ensure consistent communication and save time on repetitive responses. 7. \*\*+AI Meeting Notes\*\* can transcribe and summarize your meeting to capture every point. Fully focus during every discussion and never miss a detail. No bots joining your call, works with any meeting tool. Access all your meeting notes anytime in Spark Mail App. 8. \*\*Centralized Email Management\*\*: Manage multiple email accounts from a single interface, which is particularly useful for teams handling multiple projects or client accounts. 9. \*\*Smart Inbox +AI\*\*: Prioritize important emails and filter out distractions with intelligent sorting and categorization of incoming messages. 10. \*\*Integrations\*\*: Connect Spark with other productivity tools like Trello, Asana, and more to streamline workflows and ensure that email communications integrate smoothly with other team activities. ## Spark for Teams Reviews
 ### 1. Simplifies Email Management, Integrates Multiple Accounts with Ease

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daria R. | Team Architect, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

I like that Spark for Teams lets me manage all my email accounts in one place, and I have many across different platforms like Gmail. The ability to structure emails by relevance and keep order in my inbox helps me stay on track and not miss anything. It makes handling multiple accounts feel easier. Also, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

I still haven't figured out the calendar option. If there is a calendar option or how to add information to the calendar. When I receive an email with some dates that I want to add to my calendar instantly, I don't think I can do that or at least I don't know how to do that.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Spark for Teams to manage my emails, consolidating multiple accounts in one place and structuring them by relevance, which keeps my inbox organized and ensures I don't miss anything.

 ### 2. Efficient, Cost-Effective, but Needs Offline Improvements

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cole M. | Founder, Wireless, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

I like how easy Spark for Teams is to use, and the application is consistent across mobile platforms with all its features. It's quite inexpensive compared to other solutions. I appreciate that there's feature parity across all major mail providers, unlike some other services where, for example, Google Workspace might have more features than Microsoft 365. Spark does a good job of ensuring consistency. Additionally, I find it valuable that Spark integrates all my favorite tools together regardless of the mail client, which was an issue with other tools like Outlook when using Google Workspace.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

Sometimes the application is a little buggy. Especially if you're offline, it struggles compared to other mail apps that allow composing and functioning offline smoothly. On mobile, if you have limited internet connection, Spark sometimes struggles. Also, the app can be a bit slow to use at times.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Spark for Teams solves the problem of needing a help desk ticketing tool by allowing quick email sharing and team comments. It simplifies IT management with its consistent email client across multiple platforms.

 ### 3. Clean UX and Spark AI Make Team Email Access Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Velit T. | Media Manager / Team Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

Spark for Teams has transformed how our team handles email collaboration. The shared inbox feature lets me give team members access to emails without sharing passwords, which is a huge security win. The UI is exceptionally clean and intuitive — new team members can get started with minimal onboarding. The Spark AI assistant is a standout feature: it drafts replies, summarizes threads, and helps triage high-volume inboxes efficiently. The delegation and role-based access controls work seamlessly, and email assignment between teammates keeps everyone accountable.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

The mobile app occasionally has sync delays when switching between accounts, and the notification settings could be more granular. The pricing for smaller teams can feel a bit steep compared to some alternatives, and it would be great to have more native integrations with project management tools like Asana or Jira. The search functionality, while functional, could be more powerful with advanced filters for large volumes of archived emails.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Spark for Teams, managing shared email accounts meant sharing passwords across the team, which created security vulnerabilities and made it impossible to track who handled which email. Spark for Teams solved this by giving each team member their own access with role-based permissions. We've seen a 40% reduction in email response time thanks to email assignment and status tracking. The team inbox keeps everyone aligned without constant status meetings, and the Spark AI features have reduced the time spent drafting routine replies by roughly 30%. Overall, it has significantly improved our team's email accountability and response efficiency.

 ### 4. Valuable Conversations, Clunky Email Management

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeff M. | Design Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

I like that with Spark for Teams, I can talk with team members without needing to CC or leave the app to go to another one. I appreciate that I can have conversations offline and they will stay within the conversation, which is handy when discussing things that shouldn't involve the external clients.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

I struggle with the AI features, how it organized my emails and what it hides from me, that I don't want it to, and I can't seem to find things most times.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Spark for Teams to talk with team members easily without CCing or leaving the app.

 ### 5. All My Email Accounts in One Place—Automatic Grouping with No Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

Having all my email accounts in one place is really helpful. I also love that they’re automatically grouped by type with no setup needed—it’s great.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

Sometimes I have to reopen an email that’s already open just to “refresh” my inbox. This usually happens when I’m waiting for an email to arrive.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It genuinely feels like a native app. I can drag and drop or extract attachments just as I would in a native Apple app, and it fits really well into the Apple ecosystem overall.

 ### 6. Affordable, Intuitive Email Organizer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vins M. | Pharmacist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

I love how easy it is to use Spark for Teams. The simplicity and clarity of the interface make it very user-friendly and straightforward to understand. This ease of use significantly enhances my experience when navigating through my tasks. Additionally, I appreciate the affordability of the yearly subscription, which offers great value considering the quality and features of the app. Another aspect that stands out for me is the robustness of the user interface, which efficiently organizes my emails, newsletters, and notifications. A unique feature that I find particularly valuable is the ability to block certain senders, which streamlines my email management process and eliminates unwanted distractions. The initial setup of Spark for Teams was also very straightforward, contributing to a hassle-free start with the app.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

I would like to see cleaner layouts of the app, especially on MacBooks.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Spark for Teams for scheduling and organizing emails, newsletters, and notifications with an intuitive interface, facilitating seamless email management.

 ### 7. Simple management of multiple emails and calendar, ideal for team collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jess C. | Marketing Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

It is very simple to manage multiple emails from a single account and, in addition, have access to the calendar. It also makes it easier to contribute and collaborate daily with other team members. It is super easy to implement on any computer or phone.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

Sometimes it takes a little while to load or close, because I manage several accounts with many emails, but it's not a problem. Also, it has a function to hide itself and it closes automatically when it finishes saving the changes.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improve collaboration within the team.

 ### 8. owerful, Modern Email Client with Smart Organization and AI-But Needs Performance Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin W. | Freelance Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

Spark stands out for its clean, intuitive interface and robust feature set focused entirely on email management rather than bundling in unrelated productivity tools. The app’s smart inbox automatically prioritizes important emails and bundles newsletters and notifications, making it easier to focus on what matters most. Features like message scheduling, reminders, snoozing, and the ability to pin or prioritize emails streamline workflow and help keep my inbox organized

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

syncing delays across devices, and occasional crashes, especially in the latest versions.the desktop app’s database syncing can hinder shutdown times. The new design and increased focus on AI features have made the interface feel cluttered and less comfortable for some long-time users. There is also frustration over the removal of features like the three-column layout, which affected usability on tablets and laptops

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It eliminates the lack of clarity and accountability over who is responsible for responding to emails by allowing assignments and tracking within the shared inbox. The platform streamlines collaboration by enabling team members to discuss, delegate, and comment on emails directly within the app, removing the need to forward messages or switch to external tools like Slack or project management software

 ### 9. Review - Spark for Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rocelyn C. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

It offers collaborative email features that enhance team productivity. This includes shared inboxes, real-time email collaboration, quick delegation, and easy communication within the app. These features help teams manage emails more efficiently and stay aligned without switching between multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

It doesn’t offer many ways to customize it, needs an internet connection to work, and some people worry about privacy since emails go through its servers. It also misses some advanced email features, and the app can work differently depending on the device you use.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allowing teams to share inboxes and work together on messages. This helps prevent emails from being missed or duplicated and speeds up responses. It also makes it easier to assign tasks and stay organized.

 ### 10. Super helpful for consulting groups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy M. | CEO, Medical Devices, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

Ability to connect and manage multiple inboxes from a single inbox.

Share emails with team members without having to forward them.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

Pinning and other prioritization flags don't work consistently.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Need to manage multiple inboxes across clients.

 ### 11. Great, but not „there“ yet

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

I can now share my inbox with my assistant without sharing the login details! My assistant manages my inbox and assigns me emails with the needed call to action so I can hit the ground running. By sharing my personal email inbox I lose essential features on that inbox, though, such as snooze, reminders, which is a drag.

Apart from that, sharing our non-support inboxes with the administration and operations teams works quite well, apart from the occasional bug throwing a wrench in our otherwise well running operations.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

Often buggy, and features over time change their functionality with no prior warning or explanation. Becomes a pain when you, as the manager, need to figure out these changes and explain it to the team instead of doing more important things.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gives access to inboxes without the need to share the login details for such email accounts. I use it for giving access to my assistant to manage my personal email account & only assign me emails for which my action is needed. Additionally my team admin and operations email accounts are shared with the relevant team members. These team members make sure that we don't drop the ball on these team-inboxes.

 ### 12. Spark for Teams brings email collaboration into the modern tools era.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

Spark allows my team to collaborate about external communications and emails with the power of internal tools like Slack, while staying in-context of the emails itself. We can share important emails with each other, talk about them in a secure way right along side the email itself, collaborate on drafting responses, and even manage the process through assignments.

Shared inboxes has provided easy-to-use visibility into marketing and website-related emails without having to shift into yet another tool, accelerating our responsiveness to inbound communications.

Spark has also lead the way with AI-assistance. The features Apple demo'd at WWDC 2024 around summarizing emails and helping with writing are already in Spark TODAY. The thread summaries are truly helpful, providing an easy way to catch up on a long thread you may have been looped into.

As an email client, Spark remains top-notch in terms of capabilities with great native gmail label support, snooze, useful grouping, and now the ability to filter for unknown senders and protect my inbox.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

As of this writing, Spark Desktop 3 on the Mac is fully-featured and works well in general. But, I really do miss the native app "feel" of Spark 2. Moving to an "electron"-like app has clearly enabled the team to release on Windows and maintain feature-parity. But the result is an app that just a little bit less polished feeling on the Mac in terms of smooth animations and predictable/reliable interface responsiveness. It's 98% great. But every so often you run into that 2% situation where there's a little bit of lag, or you need to quit and restart the app. Resizing and scrolling are ever-so-slightly less silky smooth. For comparison, the iOS and iPadOS versions, which rely on native interface elements, feel more "solid" and smooth.

One functionality area where this non-native desktop experience diverges from the native iOS interface is how the app interacts with the built-in Contacts app. On iOS, you can easily add a contact into your Contacts from Spark if you've gotten an email from someone you don't have a vCard for. On macOS, there's no such "add contact" interface.

If there's a way to merge the iOS and macOS codebases to restore native performance, that would be amazing.

All this said, this is a minor quibble. The app and teams service is spectacular and provides a set of features I don't think exist anywhere else.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As noted above, the ability to communicate and collaborate with internal team members about emails with external people in-context of the emails themselves is a game-changer.

 ### 13. A Game-Changer for Team Email Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mike G. | Director of People & Business Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

Spark Mail has completely transformed how I manage my emails and collaborate with my team. The snoozing feature is key, allowing me to defer emails and focus on what’s important without losing track of tasks. With Spark, achieving a zero inbox is possible and incredibly easy, helping me maintain a clutter-free workspace.

The shared mailbox functionality is a standout feature, enabling seamless collaboration within my team. We can assign emails to specific team members, ensuring that every message is handled by the right person promptly. This has significantly improved our efficiency and productivity.

Another brilliant feature is commenting on emails directly within the app. This eliminates the need for external communication tools and keeps all discussions contextually tied to the relevant emails. This has streamlined our workflow and enhanced our team’s coordination.

Moreover, Spark’s customer service is exceptional. They always respond quickly and resolve issues, ensuring our experience remains smooth and trouble-free.

Overall, Spark Mail is an indispensable tool for our team. It has made us super efficient and productive, and I can’t imagine managing our email communications without it. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

There is nothing about spark for Teams that I do not like!

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Spark, it was challenging to keep track of who was responsible for responding to which email. Spark's assignment feature ensures that every email is assigned to the right team member, eliminating confusion and enhancing accountability.

 ### 14. Best email client for team collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph T. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

Spark has become an essential tool for us as a creative agency, enabling us to seamlessly discuss emails without leaving the inbox, share emails without forwarding, assign emails to other team members, and use team templates to save hours of time writing responses. I honestly don't know how we'd do business without it.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

The things I used to dislike about Spark have all been improved over the past few years. It's been great to see hwo dedicated the Spark team are to strengthening existing functionality and introducing new features.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spark for teams enables us to seamlessly discuss and respond to emails as a team, without having to forward emails or copy the content over to Slack. Being able to share emails with a single click, and discuss them with the built-in comment thread has been a game-changer for us as a collaborative team.

 ### 15. An easy to use, intuitive, way to work on emails together with our team.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin S. | Board Advisor: North America, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

Spark for Teams let's me quickl loop my team members that are not included on an email without adding them to the distribution list. I like that I can assign emails for others to follow up on or have a side-chat via the comments feature to discuss how to reply to a customer. All in all it's a brilliant way to collaborate on emails with my team!

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

I would like a way to group emails by the assignee when delegating them. That would make it easy for me to review open emails I have asked a particular team member to work on.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spark for Teams ensures that the relevant members of my organisation have access to the right emails to do their work without having to remember passwords and wondering who is managing the account.

 ### 16. Best email Manager

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Naldo G. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

- conversations within an email thread as a chat, which declutter the communication and makes each subject held in its perfect place. (Now we don't need many WhatsApp/Calls) about x or y email.
- assign an email with deadlines.
- create public links to the the emails and their threads which can be shared easily. We use it a lot for reports.
- share an specific email with someone, instead of forwarding it. In volume it declutters a lot!
- the best customer support of any service provider I use in my company.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

- some features, that in my mind seem easy to implant, does take more time than usual to be released.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of some features from 2.0 to the newer version. Example: edit text in compose.

 ### 17. Simply the best email client for individuals and teams

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

Collaboration, Ease of reaching inbox zero, snooze function is most valuable

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

Slight discrepancy between the functions available in the desktop version and the mobile app.

 ### 18. The team collaborative inbox my company was missing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomasz P. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Spark for Teams?**

Initially I loved the easy onboarding, implementing the IMAP with my google business account adn have it up and running within minutes.
Now the number of features is certainly overwelming so you need to start with working how you used to and slowly adopt the shortcuts, email templates, the smart inbox view etc. It's a very sophisticated tool, though easy to use don't expect to be using all the features from day 1.
One of my favorite features as a meeting space owner in how seamless google calendar is intergrated into the application. It feels like native!
I am using it every day for the past 4 months and replaced my previous collaborative inbox (MissiveApp) almost immediately.
There were no issues at all although the customer service proactively reached out and we had a talk about my onboarding and use cases. That was highly appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Spark for Teams?**

Can't find any downsides so far. Even the free version offers amazing capabilities.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cluttered noise inbox. Overwelming amount of junk email and notifications are automatically sorted in respective folders.
I can prioritise the topics that I need to immediately work on / vs things that can wait. This is very easy to manage via Spark.
I can assign tasks and bring important matters to the attention of my team.

 ### 19. Spark is the only email client I'm using

No such a thing :)
Amazing tool, and it's so practical for startups.

**What problems is Spark for Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?**
