I use Clockify for tracking task hours to bill clients and find it incredibly easy to use. The platform was up and running in minutes, which was great. I initially used the free version for about three months and gradually added more features, like automatically adding time for scheduled meetings with clients. The integration with Google Calendar for automatically placing scheduled meetings into Clockify—with the length of time and client name coded—is really convenient. The platform serves as a one-stop solution for tracking my time by client and project effortlessly in the background. Additionally, the simple invoice creation tool saves me a lot of time on billing. Setting it up was straightforward, just needing a quick call with a technical person, and I could immediately start tracking time after setting up clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the features require purchasing a more expensive version, like rounding up of hours, but Clockify has a minimum of 3 seats required for that, so I have to add two seats I don't need. Also, I have to run reports to see my progress against my targeted hours per week per client and manually compare that to my goals. It would be better if there was a standard feature to alert me when goals for billing are in danger of being missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
