## Asana Reviews
 ### 1. Asana Fits Our Team’s Needs with Strong Project Management Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel C. | Digital Assets Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana's project management features work well enough for our team's needs. I like how tasks can be assigned to specific people and due dates can be set. The calendar view is also pretty solid. We've found it's taken a bit to figure out how to use some of the more advanced features, but overall, it's a good tool.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana's user interface is pretty solid, but I find the default task assignment feature a bit annoying. It took a bit to figure out how to disable it, and I wish there was a more prominent warning about it. It's not a huge deal, but it's something that's bugged me over time.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana's helping us solve project management headaches and keep our team on track. We've reduced meeting time by 30% and boosted productivity by 25% since switching from Trello. It's not perfect, but it's pretty solid for our needs.

 ### 2. Smooth, Intuitive Project Planning and Task Management in Asana.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saurav Kumar J. | Data Entry Operator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The process of planning projects and managing tasks in Asana feels smooth and intuitive. Creating projects, creating tasks, setting their dependencies and tracking milestones is easy enough, and having five views available allows to choose the most suitable for the team option. Working with Asana is a joy since all the comments, file attachments, approvals and progress updates are made in one place.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana depends much on the right project management approach. If tasks are not kept up-to-date and the project is not structured, then the visibility drops instantly. There are also some advanced portfolio management, reporting and automation options only available in the highest tiers and there might be difficulties with working in a big workspace.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana replaces manual project tracking and communication methods, spreadsheets and various communication tools. As a result of using it, teams receive more ownership and better understanding of the deadlines and priorities of their work, which reduces the amount of confusion and unnecessary communications. Cross-functional collaboration becomes much easier with project discussions, files and task updates being managed in one workspace.

 ### 3. Automates Project Management and Boosts Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dannie S. | Director of Engagement, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the ability to upload documents and files to Asana, which is especially useful for tasks like new onboarding for sponsors where they can upload logos and videos. I also appreciate using forms to start projects and automate the work process by receiving notifications and keeping my team on track. The AI rule creation is improving, allowing me to adjust due dates as needed, assign different individuals to tasks, and move tasks to relevant sections based on the last task completed. These features enhance efficiency and help us stay organized.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I would love to be able to review a start date and a due date in my tasks or task manager instead of only having the visibility of the due date. I would also love to see more flexibility in the rules and the automation. Today, when I assign another team member a task, they don't see it until the due date. It doesn't pop up on their list, whereas if I could assign a start date and a due date, they would get notified of that instead of it barring out all the dates in between.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Asana helps me maintain consistency in managing events and pipelines without relying on email and Teams, allowing seamless collaboration. Forms shift work to submitters, and AI rules efficiently automate tasks, ensuring progress tracking. Document uploads streamline sponsor onboarding, and aligning tasks with Outlook keeps everything organized.

 ### 4. Streamlined Project Management, Great Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankita P. | Business Development Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like Asana for its simplicity and flexibility in managing projects and tasks. It gives a clear view of priorities, deadlines, and progress, making it easier to stay organized and collaborate with team members. I find features like task assignment, project timelines, and status updates really helpful in keeping everyone aligned and improving overall productivity. The initial setup was relatively easy and straightforward, and I appreciate the templates and intuitive interface that sped up the onboarding process. Using Asana alongside other tools helps centralize project tracking, improve visibility, and reduce the need to manage information across multiple places.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One area where Asana could be improved is in handling very complex projects with a large number of tasks and dependencies. As projects grow, it can sometimes take extra effort to maintain organization and get a complete overview. Some advanced features may also require time to learn, and additional customization options or more intuitive reporting features would make the experience even better.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to manage projects, organize tasks, and track team workflows, helping keep communication and updates organized in one place. It solves the challenge of scattered tasks and deadlines, providing a central place to monitor progress and improve visibility, reducing confusion and ensuring efficiency.

 ### 5. User-Friendly Task & Project Management That Boosts Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Tayyab M. | Senior Frontend Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

We can easily create tasks and projects, add priority-wise tags, and the UI is very user-friendly. The learning curve also isn’t very high, so it’s easy to get started.
we can easily create tasks and assign them...or if we have to ask anything from client we create a task here and then have a discussion with him....so all in all a very good product to increase our overall performance

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

For as much as I’ve used Asana, I don’t think there’s anything I’ve disliked about it.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana centralizes project and task management, so work doesn't get lost across emails, chats, and spreadsheets. It solves key problems like lack of visibility into who's doing what, scattered communication, missed deadlines, and unclear task ownership.

The main benefit is better team alignment and less time spent in status meetings, since progress is visible directly in the tool.

 ### 6. Asana Keeps Me Organized—Fast, Fair-Priced, and Great Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana has helped me get organized, hold myself accountable, and meet deadlines that I was missing before because I was losing notes amongst the 15 notepads and legal pads I was writing every single task and thought and reminder in! I LOVE that it can integrate with ChatGPT! That has honestly been the biggest upgrade since I've started using Asana close to a year ago. The price point is very fair, the performance is great - there's never any glitches and it never runs slow, and the support is phenomenal!

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Honestly I haven't found any dislikes so far about Asana. I don't think that I use it to its fullest capability because I'm the only one on the team that uses it. It makes for an excellent invoice payment tracker and to do list for me. I color coded the different categories of my day to day tasks (Administrative, HR, Finance, Brain Dump, etc.) and I can look at the calendar view and see very easily what I've got on the docket for that day. It works very well with my ADHD brain!

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm not missing deadlines! And that is benefitting me because my boss is happy and I stay out of trouble lol. Before Asana, I was a hot mess express! Seriously, I can fill a legal pad up from front to back in about three days. With Asana, I can get all of my thoughts out of my head in my Brain Dump project, and then I can go back and sort each task into the appropriate project depending on whether it's HR related, Finance related, or just regular ole Admin related. And no more legal pads stacked up on my desk or shuffling to find notes about x, y, or z.

 ### 7. Seamless Project Management and Team Alignment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ish M. | Associate Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I find Asana's user interface to be quite visually appealing and intuitive, which makes it easy to add items or tasks. The ability to toggle between different boards is fairly intuitive as well. I like the hotkeys/shortcuts, and I really appreciate the email reminders Asana sends out. These features make everything more intuitive and seamless, so I don't feel like Asana is a burden or just another tool to manage. The initial setup of Asana was very easy, the installation process was intuitive and seamless, which I really appreciated. I also use Asana with ChatGPT, and linking them adds high value, allowing me to get status updates and build reports. Asana helps my team by providing 1000% visibility into activities and ensuring everyone is aligned with a central repository for status updates.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think the meeting notes portion of the platform could be improved. I traditionally use MS OneNote for note-taking and I believe it will make my life and work much easier if I can centralize Asana and OneNote in the same platform. I sometimes use the notes function in Asana but it isn't as well developed as I'd hope for. In addition, I think Asana could do a better job at dependencies / multihoming of projects - it is a bit unintuitive to me.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves our team's lack of visibility and accountability issues, providing a central repository for updates and making everyone feel aligned.

 ### 8. Asana review by Emerge Ministries

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon W. | Office Manager and Director of IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

A sauna integrates well with Microsoft and performs extremely well in scaling our work and allowing us to track what we are doing. It works well with on boarding and supporting our employees and helping them accomplish their task. The user interface is very easy to follow and the price is very affordable. We have used the AI some and it seems to work very well.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

My dislikes with a sauna mainly have to do with very niche problems that we experience for example, some of the dependency rules and scheduling due dates based off of the rules could use some improvements to become more dynamic and reactive. So mainly the issues become with dynamic role assignments and dynamic due to a assignments that can interact automatically without us having to over program the.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana is helping us solve our current scope of work problems buying allowing us to expand and complete task at a very quick and efficient rate while also tracking what is being done so that we are not missing any steps as we do our work so we are able to work proficiently and excellently across the b while being able to track everything

 ### 9. Efficient Task Management with Asana

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian F. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

It's easy to start new projects and teams. The Google functionality is great. I'm hoping that the rest of my company, beyond my team, will adopt the tool as easily have we have. I haven't gotten too deep into using the AI yet. Right now we are using a basic version of the tool, but I'm hopeful we'll upgrade to a more robust version in the future.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I've found that I have too many open tasks now and that I'm not tracking some of them very well. The price to upgrade may be prohibitive.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me keep track of tasks and assignments for myself and others. It's efficient and integrates easily with Gmail, so I don't need to track my emails anymore. Sharing docs using the Google tools is also very helpful.

 ### 10. Intuitive Dashboards and Seamless AI Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia A. | Integrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the UX and the dashboards. The dashboard lets us have a more visual, rapid look at where we stand with to-dos and progress. The UX gives us the advantage of seamless adoption with the team. I also like the Claude–Asana connector, since our company uses Claude as our main AI tool. The connector lets us set up milestones with the help of Claude and have them show up in Asana without double work. The initial setup was pretty easy, and I loved it. I prefer Asana to Monday, which is why I brought it back to this team again.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

More features at the mid-tier level. I want Asana to offer better workload and team-health visualization. I need to see how each team member is loaded with tasks so I can distribute work better. I want capacity % and alerts when someone is close to be overloaded.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana for coordination among our IT department, daily to-dos, and rock follow-up since we use the EOS methodology. The dashboards give us a more visual, rapid look at where we stand with to-dos and progress. The Claude connector lets us set up milestones without double work.

 ### 11. Asana Keeps Our Projects on Track with Flexible, Easy-to-Use Views

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather B. | Marketing Programs Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

As a project manager I have used Asana at multiple companies at this point. It is the only way I feel like we can stay on top the wide range of projects we have going on at once. It is easy to use and allows for people to see it in different views depending on their preference. It is easy to cater the project/task to whatever you need.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Sometimes I don't know the best way to build something out in Asana. Also sometimes there are so many different projects going on and I don't know the best way to get a bird's eye view of everything that is going on without looking at each email that comes in/manually looking into the tasks.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability house all the different projects in one page.

 ### 12. Brings Structure and Visibility to Cross-Functional Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raamamirtham S. | Assistant Manager - Marketing & Business Solutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is how effectively it brings structure and visibility to cross-functional work. As someone working closely with Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, and Tech Ops, Asana helps me break down complex, ongoing initiatives into clear projects, tasks, owners, and timelines.

The flexibility of Asana is a big plus — I can use it both for long-term operational projects and day-to-day BAU requests. Features like custom fields, rules, and forms make it easy to standardize intake, prioritize work, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. It has significantly reduced follow-ups and ad-hoc communication by giving all stakeholders a single source of truth.

Overall, Asana has improved accountability, transparency, and execution across teams, especially in fast-moving operational environments

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

While Asana is very strong for internal project and task management, it can feel limited when used for request or ticket-style workflows. Features like native SLA tracking, automatic acknowledgements, and ticket IDs are not built in, which means teams need to rely on workarounds using rules, custom fields, or integrations.

Additionally, managing requests coming in via email alongside form submissions can sometimes feel fragmented, especially for operational teams handling high volumes. More robust reporting around ageing tasks and SLA breaches would also be helpful for operational oversight.

That said, these are manageable gaps for many teams, and Asana continues to work well as a flexible and collaborative platform when combined with clear processes.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the problem of fragmented work management across teams by providing a single platform to track requests, projects, ownership, and timelines. Previously, work was scattered across emails, chats, and spreadsheets, making it difficult to prioritise and follow up.

By centralising work in Asana, I get clear visibility into what is being worked on, who owns it, and what is pending. This has reduced manual follow-ups, improved accountability, and helped ensure that deadlines—especially for operational and cross-functional work—are consistently met. Overall, it enables better planning, execution, and collaboration across Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, and Tech Ops.

 ### 13. Asana Makes Task Organization and Project Visibility Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ravindra N. | SDET - 2, Oil & Energy, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like most about Asana is its task organization and project visibility. It provides a clear and structured way to manage work across teams, making it easy to track progress, priorities, and deadlines. Intuitive task and subtask management. Multiple project views, including List, Board, and Timeline. Easy assignment of tasks, owners, and due dates. Project progress tracking with clear status updates. Good collaboration features such as comments, mentions, and notifications. The most valuable feature is the ability to visualize project progress at both a high level and a detailed task level. Team members can quickly understand what is in progress, what is blocked, and what needs attention without spending time in status meetings. The biggest benefit is improved coordination and accountability. Asana helps keep projects organized, ensures responsibilities are clear, and makes it easier for teams to stay aligned on priorities and deadlines.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The biggest challenge is notification management. In active projects with many team members, updates, comments, and task changes can generate a large number of notifications, making it difficult to focus on the most important items. Advanced reporting and analytics are somewhat limited compared to specialized project management tools.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the problem of task tracking, project coordination, and team visibility. Without a centralized system, it can be difficult to track responsibilities, deadlines, project status, and dependencies across multiple teams and initiatives. Centralizes tasks, projects, and team activities in one place. Improves visibility into project progress and ownership. Helps teams prioritize work and manage deadlines effectively. Reduces the need for constant status update meetings. Makes collaboration easier through comments, notifications, and task assignments. In my day-to-day work, Asana helps manage project deliverables, track testing activities, coordinate with developers and product teams, and ensure that important tasks are not overlooked. Having a clear view of priorities and progress helps the team stay aligned and accountable. The biggest benefit is organization and transparency. Everyone knows what needs to be done, who is responsible, and what the current status is, which improves execution and helps projects move forward more efficiently.

 ### 14. Asana,Essential for my Development Work with Transparency and Boosts Team collaboration.

 ### 15. Asana has transformed how we manage projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Richa R. | Senior HRA, People eXperience and Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana has been very helpful for our team. We’ve been using it for the past three years, and it has made our work much easier overall. Collaboration between team members is smoother, and ticket management is also far more manageable.
Asana integrates well with tools our teams already use, helping keep project updates, communication, and reporting connected in one place. This reduces context switching and improves overall efficiency.
Performance has been reliable even when managing large projects with multiple stakeholders. Pages load quickly, updates are reflected in real time, and the platform remains responsive during day-to-day use.
The value provided by Asana outweighs the cost. Improved visibility, automation, and project tracking have reduced manual coordination efforts and helped teams save time while delivering work more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Overall, I had a positive experience with Asana. The main area for improvement would be reducing the learning curve for new users, since some advanced features take time to understand and can feel overwhelming at first. However, once you get the hang of Asana, I think it makes life much easier for managing every task, project, ticket, and more.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps solve challenges related to project visibility, task tracking, communication, and coordination across teams. It reduces time spent on manual updates, keeps work organized in one place, and helps identify risks or blockers early. The AI features further improve productivity by automating routine tasks, summarizing updates, and helping teams make faster, more informed decisions. This enables me to spend more time on high-value work and less time on administrative activities.

 ### 16. Asana Keeps Teams Aligned with an Intuitive, Visual Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Estela G. | Human Resources Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is how it makes it easy to organize and track work in a clear, visual way that keeps teams aligned without needing constant check-ins. Its UI is intuitive with multiple views like lists and boards, integrations with tools like Slack and Google Workspace are smooth, and performance is generally fast and reliable even with larger projects. It offers strong ROI for teams managing complex workflows since it reduces missed tasks and improves accountability, onboarding is straightforward with helpful templates and guidance, and its AI features add value by helping summarize tasks and streamline planning.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

What I dislike about Asana is that it can feel overwhelming at first because of the number of features and views, and some advanced capabilities are locked behind higher pricing tiers. While it’s powerful, it can also become cluttered if teams don’t maintain structure, and its AI features are still somewhat limited compared to more specialized tools.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the problem of scattered task tracking and unclear ownership by centralizing projects, deadlines, and responsibilities in one organized system. This helps reduce missed tasks, improves visibility across teams, and makes it easier to prioritize work without relying on constant emails or follow-ups. For me, it benefits day-to-day work by keeping everything structured in one place, making progress easy to track, and ensuring accountability across projects.

 ### 17. Asana powers our workday success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bonnie B. | Lead Systems Analyst, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love being able to build quick project plans from templates and assign my teammates so everyone knows what they're responsible for.

Celebrations in Asana make you excited to check things off and keep pushing for the finish line.

Rules help automate the project management so I can spend more time finishing tasks and less time managing the project settings. The addition of AI logic within rules has supercharged our projects and workflows and enabled automated features that were previously manual saving our staff a considerable amount of time.

The rollout of Work Week so tasks don't assign on the weekends have been great. Asana is constantly improving, not staying stagnant, and listening to it's user base.

Asana's Academy and recent certifications have made onboarding new staff a breeze and those badges look great on LinkedIn :)

When we create a task, a project, a rule in Asana, it's high speed, we don't have to worry about frequent outages like other tools. And when there was a recent outage of another outside tool that impacted Asana, the Asana app works on a computer without a wifi signal, so we could all keep working and when it was reconnected, boom, we were all set.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

We moved to an Enterprise plan a couple of years ago and not long after, they added another Enterprise plan and some of the items we'd joined for moved up into that higher bracket. I wish there was more availability in our legacy Enterprise plan for some security settings and app settings.

Aside from that, I LOVE everything about Asana.

**Recommendations to others considering Asana:**

Asana has made it simple and easy for us to be on the same page and move our work and organization forward. I've been in a lot of project management tools over my working career and hands down, Asana has been the best to work with. I've used it in almost every use case imaginable and it's always more than met our needs. The Asana team is also committed to continuously making the tool better and better and listen to their community of users as they implement new solutions and enhancements.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Asana for everything from planning our annual 5K to planning out our IT infrastructure projects. Our marketing plans are moving forward as a result of all our projects and nested portfolios. We even plan our meeting agendas in Asana. Maintenance, HR, and Volunteer Services are all now onboarded into Asana as well, enabling automation and less manual work for those teams.

Our donation revenue has grown increasingly over the last few years and Asana has played a big role in that through powering our productivity.

The integration with Zapier enables us to create even more complex workflows across our tech stack while still enabling our staff to remain in one platform.

 ### 18. Asana Makes Task Organization Effortless at Work and at Home

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicole O. | Commercial Lines Account Executive, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana is an extremely user-friendly application that is perfect for organizing and breaking down tasks. I use Asana both in my personal and work life. At home, my partner and I easily make tasks for each other which holds us accountable and allows us space to provide all of the details without rely on info-dumping to each other and remembering. At work, I have many duties that repeat at regular intervals and involve multiple steps, so making use of the recurring and subtask features has saved me so much time, effort, and energy.

I'm aware of many integrations, though I don't personally utilize them. There have been only a few times I've ever seen Asana be "down" and most of those were datacenter-related rather than on Asana's end.

Purchasing at least the first tier is essential for access to custom fields and rules for automation. The price is well worth the amount of brainpower those will save you.

Between Asana's official help articles and community forums, I have been able to accomplish much of what I'd hoped to and more.

I haven't had the need or desire to explore the AI capabilities, but I'm aware they are there should I want to explore them.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish more of the community-voted ideas would be implemented timely. Many of them seem relatively simple, like formatting in task titles (bold, underline, color, etc.).

The focus on AI teammates is a bit off-putting as I find it unreliable and missing the point of collaborating with actual humans.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have dozens of tasks that I'm responsible for that repeat at regular intervals. Having a hub where I can reliably see the tasks, when they're due, and my instructions is a huge time and energy saver.

 ### 19. Enhances Team Visibility and Accountability

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace C. | CFO/ HR Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like that with Asana, everything or at least much of what I'm working on is visibly seen amongst the team. The ability to submit travel requests and request certificates of insurance is convenient. I can create projects where team members have access to forms and provide the information I need, which is really helpful. Asana assigning tasks instead of someone sending a Slack message is great, as it prevents me from forgetting tasks later. It increases my visibility and accountability for tasks I'm working on. I appreciate Asana's seamless integration with the cloud and how that makes my job easier. I'm also fond of how Asana's rules and automations might eventually help me with tasks like sending invoices when a contract is signed. I find it quite user-friendly; it only took a couple of days for me to feel comfortable with the system despite not being involved in the setup, which speaks volumes about its ease of use.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Absolutely nothing so far!

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana shows our team exactly what we're working on, letting us interact directly with tasks instead of on Slack. It gives us clear visibility and accountability for tasks, keeping everyone informed of what needs to be done and project completion status.

 ### 20. Remote company life saver

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah V. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Maintaining projects and being able to break them down into digestible steps is extremely helpful. The tools that Asana offers within the product are extremely helpful to keeping work moving and my team informed

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think this is more on me, but when changes are made, I wish there were training or a recap. There actually might be, via the academy, but I have not participated in or seen those previously.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a fully remote company and moving projects async has been amazing! It cuts our meeting time and with a simple voice memo we can have team members review projects and start work without having to have a 30 minute call or meeting

 ### 21. Efficient Nonprofit Grant Management with Asana

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for my nonprofit grant management, and it helps me organize everything in one place. It's great for working remotely with my colleague, allowing us to notify each other of different projects and deadlines easily. I also like how user-friendly Asana is; I didn't have to do much training to get started, which is important as we don't have much time or staff to integrate new software. For the price we pay, the time savings we gain are amazing. Asana is much more efficient and valuable than managing grants with Excel spreadsheets. It's also useful for keeping track of information from past grant applications year by year. The dashboard I see when I first log in every day is very useful and easy to navigate. Setting up Asana was easy, and while it was time consuming to gather all my information, it wasn't hard to input it into Asana.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think that there could be more functionality around the ways I am able to sort or group my projects and tasks. I would like to be able to categorize my grants by where they are in the application process and group them, or something similar.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to manage nonprofit grants efficiently. It keeps everything organized in one place, enables remote collaboration, and facilitates easy project updates and deadline tracking. Asana saves us significant time compared to Excel, allowing us to reference past grant applications effortlessly. When we were using Excel, I had many documents that needed checking, and folders holding different information; now everything is in one place.

 ### 22. Asana Keeps Teams Aligned with Clear Project Visibility and Efficient Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizeth C. | Creative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like most about Asana is how it keeps everyone aligned and organized. It provides clear visibility into projects, makes task ownership simple to track, strengthens collaboration across teams, and reduces confusion around deadlines and priorities. The different project views and automations also help make workflows more efficient, smoother to run, and easier to manage overall.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

What we dislike about Asana is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially on larger projects with lots of tasks and notifications. Keeping boards and tasks up to date takes consistent discipline from everyone, and without that, information can quickly become outdated or confusing. It can also be hard to customize certain workflows, and some features feel more complicated than they need to be.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana is solving problems around project visibility, task coordination, and communication across teams. It helps keep work organized in one place, clarifies ownership and deadlines, and makes it easier to track progress without relying on constant meetings or follow-ups. This benefits us by improving collaboration, reducing confusion, increasing accountability, and helping projects move faster and more efficiently.

 ### 23. Intuitive Project Management with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah A. | Pharmacy Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for daily project management and really like its intuitive interface with powerful workflow automation. The ability to switch seamlessly between List, Board, and Timeline views gives me clear visibility into project progress. I also appreciate features like custom intake forms, automated task assignment rules, and AI-powered reporting that cut down on manual work. Plus, the integrations with Slack, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Teams keep our team connected and aligned in one central hub. The initial setup was easy and straightforward, and Asana's user-friendly design and pre-built project templates made onboarding quick. We were able to start working in minutes, without complex technical configuration.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

While Asana is great for general project management, managing very complex projects with extensive task dependencies can sometimes become visually cluttered and hard to navigate. Additionally, the pricing model can be restrictive for scaling teams. It would be a huge improvement if Asana offered more flexible, tiered seat options—such as lower-cost 'view-only' seats—so external stakeholders or casual team members can track progress without requiring full-price licenses.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana for project management, centralizing tasks, deadlines, and communications. It prevents reliance on emails, improving team visibility, alignment, and accountability, helping us meet project deadlines efficiently.

 ### 24. Asana: Robust Tool for Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Airlines/Aviation | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I find Asana very useful, especially for keeping track of various aspects of my busy schedule in aviation advisory. The way Asana allows me to compartmentalize things using sections and tasks is incredibly helpful, making it easy to follow each step of complex projects like setting up airlines. Asana sets it all up very clearly for me, and when combined with Claude, it's a fantastic fit. Even though I initially used Asana years ago, my paid subscription now has been remarkable with no complaints at all. Plus, there’s always more to learn, which is why I'm involved in a training course to uncover all the great tips I might have missed.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think Asana AI could improve by providing realistic dates for completing tasks, especially in aviation where things don't always happen in a logical sequence or within planned time frames. This would be particularly helpful given the bureaucratic pace of some regulatory environments. Also, I find setting up Asana quite complicated if you're not familiar with it. It's not for the faint-hearted; you really need somebody's help to set it up, if you want to use it effectively. I don't have an enterprise subscription, which makes sorting projects into portfolios impossible.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Asana very useful for organizing aviation advisory projects by compartmentalizing tasks and sections. It helps me manage processes like hiring, training, legal, operational and maintenance aspects ensuring nothing is missed. It works great with Claude for streamlined project management.

 ### 25. Asana Makes Project Organization and Team Alignment Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is how easy it is to organize projects and keep everyone aligned. The interface is clean and intuitive, so it's simple to create projects, assign tasks, set due dates, and track progress without a steep learning curve. I use the list and board views regularly, and being able to drag and drop tasks between stages makes managing workflows much faster.

One of the biggest benefits is having all project-related information in one place. Instead of searching through emails or multiple documents, I can attach files, leave comments, create subtasks, and communicate directly within each task. This has made collaboration much more efficient and reduced miscommunication.

I also appreciate the automation features that eliminate repetitive work, such as automatically assigning tasks, updating statuses, or notifying team members when milestones are reached. The timeline and calendar views provide a clear picture of project deadlines, making it easier to identify potential scheduling conflicts before they become problems.

Another valuable feature is Asana's integration with other business applications, which allows work to flow smoothly across different tools without constantly switching between platforms. Performance has been reliable, with quick loading times and very little downtime in my experience.

Overall, Asana has helped improve organization, accountability, and visibility across projects. It has made it easier to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively, ultimately saving time and increasing productivity.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

While my overall experience with Asana has been positive, there are a few areas that could be improved. Some of the more advanced features, such as reporting, custom workflows, and portfolio management, have a learning curve and can take time to fully understand. New users may need additional onboarding before they can take full advantage of everything the platform offers.

The notification system can also become overwhelming on larger projects if notification settings aren't customized. It's easy to receive updates for many tasks, which can create unnecessary noise until preferences are adjusted.

Another drawback is that some valuable features are only available in higher-tier paid plans. Smaller teams or organizations on a limited budget may find themselves wanting capabilities that require an upgrade.

Finally, while Asana offers many ways to organize work, the number of available views and customization options can feel overwhelming at first. Once the workspace is set up, it's very effective, but the initial configuration takes some time and planning.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the challenge of keeping projects, tasks, and team communication organized in one central location. Before using it, it was easy for action items to get lost in email threads or spreadsheets. With Asana, every task has a clear owner, due date, priority, and status, making it much easier to stay on track and hold team members accountable.

The platform has improved collaboration by giving everyone real-time visibility into project progress. Instead of scheduling frequent status meetings, team members can quickly see what has been completed, what is in progress, and what still needs attention. This has reduced unnecessary follow-up and improved overall efficiency.

Asana has also helped with planning and workload management. Features like timelines, calendars, and project boards make it easier to prioritize work, identify potential bottlenecks, and adjust schedules before deadlines are affected. The result has been better organization, increased productivity, and more confidence that projects will be completed on time.

What I like most about Asana is how simple and organized it makes everything feel. The notifications can also get excessive if you’re part of multiple projects, which makes it easy to miss what actually matters. For me, it’s especially helpful for staying organized and prioritizing what needs to get done. **Reviewed by:** Sumit T. | Quality Assurance Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

I like how Asana keeps projects organized without feeling overwhelming. The timeline and task dependency features make it easy to see what needs to happen next and where delays might impact the team. Performance has been reliable for our day-to-day use, and the pricing feels reasonable for the value it provides.

We haven’t explored many integrations yet, but the Slack and Google Drive connections look promising for improving collaboration. **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valérie G. | Directrice service conseil, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

It allows me to forget nothing and ensure that all projects are progressing correctly. The reminder of my daily tasks is very useful to ensure I follow the priorities.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I use Asana for tracking deadlines and project milestones, centralizing information, and collaboration. It allows me to see what is important to me and to easily assign tasks to my colleagues. It helps me be more efficient and spend less time making requests via email to my colleagues.

The built‑in tutorial also made onboarding simple, showing me exactly how to set up projects, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress in real time.

 ### 36. Asana Makes Multi-Team Project Management Simple and Flexible

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patil A. | Information Technology Security Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is how simple it makes project and task management, even when handling multiple teams and deadlines at the same time. The interface is clean, easy to understand, and doesn’t take much time for new users to get comfortable with.

I especially like the flexibility of viewing work in different formats like lists, boards, timelines, and calendars depending on the project requirement. It helps keep everything organized and improves visibility across teams. Task assignments, due dates, comments, and notifications work smoothly, which reduces follow-up emails and improves collaboration.

Another thing I appreciate is the integration support with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Teams. It helps centralize work and saves time switching between applications. Overall, Asana has helped improve productivity, accountability, and project tracking in day-to-day operations.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One thing I dislike about Asana is that some advanced features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can become expensive for growing teams. At times, managing very large projects with too many tasks and notifications can also feel overwhelming, especially for new users.

The mobile app is useful for quick updates, but it occasionally feels less smooth compared to the desktop version when handling detailed project management tasks. Additionally, customization for reporting and dashboards could be more flexible without requiring premium features.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps solve problems related to task tracking, team coordination, and overall project visibility. Before using it, we managed work through a mix of emails, chats, and spreadsheets, which often led to missed deadlines, duplicated efforts, and confusion about who owned which tasks.

With Asana, everything is organized in one place. It’s much easier to assign responsibilities, track progress, and keep an eye on deadlines in real time. Automated reminders and status updates also reduce the need for manual follow-ups and help improve accountability across teams.

It has improved collaboration between different departments as well, since everyone can clearly see project priorities, active tasks, and dependencies. As a result, productivity has increased, workflows feel more streamlined, and projects are completed more efficiently and on time.

 ### 37. Easy Task Tracking with Great Performance, Integrates Smoothly with Outlook and Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

The programme is provided for me by my employer who consider it good value. The training offered has been extensive and I would certainly consider buying for myself. I can see there being many uses of the AI assistants which I need to explore further.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It's another task to manage but overall helps me not to miss things

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Avoiding missing key tasks and making it clear who work is assigned to.

 ### 38. Effective Project Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danish A. | Associate Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for project timelines, from assignment to completion. It helps me manage project deadlines and provides insights and achievements over weeks, months, or even a year. I like that Asana allows the project handler to request or make changes like deadline adjustments, attachment requirements, and general updates. It's also useful for keeping projects private and only visible to certain members of the group. As a designer working remotely in a team of 25 people, it helps me connect directly with project owners within Asana to get project guidelines.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I feel like ownership of changing deadlines should be restricted to a single person sometimes. In some cases, only the project owner should have the ability to make changes, not everyone. Asana should add an option for designating a project owner or manager who can manage these changes.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana for project timelines, tracking deadlines, attachments, and updates. It provides insights on achievements and keeps projects private, making it easy to connect with project owners. These features are valuable for managing our team of 25 working remotely.

 ### 39. Versatile Views and Automation That Streamline Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

"What I like best about Asana is its incredible versatility in project management. Being able to toggle between Board, List, and Timeline views allows me and my team to visualize our tasks in the way that best fits our current workflow. The intuitive interface makes it very easy to onboard new team members, and the automation features have significantly reduced the time we spend on repetitive administrative tasks, allowing us to focus more on high-impact work. It has truly streamlined our team's collaboration and kept everyone aligned on our project goals."

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

"What I dislike about Asana is the pricing structure, especially for smaller teams or startups. As the team scales, the cost of upgrading to premium features becomes quite high compared to other task management tools on the market. Additionally, the search function can sometimes feel a bit unintuitive when trying to find very specific archived tasks, which can be time-consuming when working on complex projects with a vast amount of data. It would be great to see more flexibility in the pricing tiers and improvements to the search algorithm to make navigation faster and more efficient."

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

"Asana is helping us solve the problem of fragmented communication and missed deadlines. Before using Asana, our team struggled to keep track of project status and individual responsibilities across different channels. By centralizing all our tasks, documentation, and deadlines in one place, Asana has significantly improved our transparency and accountability. It benefits us by ensuring that every team member knows exactly what they need to work on and when it is due, which has led to a major increase in our overall team productivity and a much smoother workflow during project execution."

 ### 40. Flexible and Robust Project Management with Seamless Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luke L. | Senior Client Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I think Asana is a great in-between of complex products like Jira and more lightweight solutions. It's very flexible and provides pre-built templates that help both first-time users of project management software and veterans. I also like the API access and import/export functions because they allow our team to build strong integrations with AI. We can integrate Asana into other systems so managers can easily scan projects and automate sequences for tasks. The initial setup was very easy, and I prefer Asana over Monday and Jira.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I don't like that more powerful features are locked behind higher paid plans. AI Integrations seem to be token-intensive but I cannot benchmark this against other platforms

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana for organization, accountability, and time management. It enables automation for project tracking and integrates with AI, which helps streamline updates and manage tasks efficiently. General project management is much more efficent with Asana vs managing in documents, messages, and emails. Asana is also very lightweight and fast - I find the mobile version quite useful on the fly.

 ### 41. Quick, Intuitive Setup with Fantastic Support for a Successful Asana Launch

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven V. | The Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

It’s quick and simple to set up and implement. I’ve found many of the tools easy to use and intuitive. Customer support has been fantastic, and working with my agent has helped me launch Asana successfully.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Some functions, such as the portfolio dashboards, are challenging to set up the way I would like. Also, certain functionality that I’m used to from my previous platform isn’t available here.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s giving me better top-level visibility across projects, and also across our freelancers. I can quickly see the high-level data, while still being able to drill down into the details when I need to.

It also helps me meet the company challenge of integrating AI into our BAU tasks.

 ### 42. A Versatile Project & Task Tracker, Perfect for Small Business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas B. | Quality Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

ASANA is a very useful tool that we use in our business to keep track of our client projects and outputs, team meetings, and other management areas of our business like IT and Quality Systems. Once setup to our custom needs, navigating the interface is easy and performance of the program is quick. Updates are frequent and support are helpful when things change and we are not sure how to resolve problems. There seems to be a whole lot of other features that we do not use to its full potential, like AI features and software integrations. It is a very thorough product. Pricing is also feasible for our small business of less than 10 employees.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think the biggest issue is when things change. Updates will occasionally change the way things work, and we will need to spend a small amount of time finding a solution, or a work-around, or contacting support.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a central program where we can organise multiple elements of our business, from customer outputs, to team meetings, to internal quality system management.

 ### 43. Easy-to-Use Project Management with a Few Limitations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish R. | Business Owner, Graphic Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is how easy it makes project and task management. I can organize work, set priorities and deadlines, track progress, and collaborate with my team in one place. It improves visibility, keeps everyone aligned, and reduces the chances of missing important tasks.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One downside of Asana is that it can feel overwhelming when managing many projects and tasks at the same time. Some advanced features take time to understand, and the number of notifications can become distracting. The free plan also has limitations for larger teams.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps solve the challenge of keeping projects, tasks, deadlines, and team responsibilities organized in one place. It improves visibility into work, makes collaboration easier, and helps ensure important tasks are completed on time. This saves time, reduces missed deadlines, and keeps everyone aligned.

 ### 44. Asana Delivers Clear Visibility, Accountability, and Efficient Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Building Materials | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is the visibility and accountability it provides. It gives teams a clear view of priorities, ownership, and progress while offering the flexibility to manage everything from daily tasks to complex cross-functional projects. The automation and reporting capabilities also help streamline processes and improve efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

If I had to choose one area for improvement, it would be the governance required when scaling Asana across large organizations. As projects grow, maintaining consistency and visibility across teams can be challenging. However, with the right processes and structure in place, Asana remains a very effective platform for managing work and driving collaboration.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the problem of disconnected work by providing a single source of truth for projects, tasks, and collaboration. It benefits me by giving clear visibility of priorities, ownership, and progress, helping me manage projects more effectively, improve stakeholder communication, and ensure work is completed on time.

 ### 45. Effortless Task Management & Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ali A. | IT Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana’s clean drag and drop interface makes it incredibly easy to break big projects into manageable tasks and subtasks. I love the Timeline and Calendar views for visualizing deadlines, and the ready‑made templates let us spin up new workflows in minutes. Integrations with Slack, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams mean updates happen automatically, so our whole team stays in sync without endless status‑update meetings.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Some of the more advanced reporting and workload‑management features are locked behind the Premium/Business tiers, which can get pricey as your team grows.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to juggle tasks across email threads, Slack channels, and ad‑hoc spreadsheets, which meant things slipped through the cracks and deadlines were constantly in jeopardy. Asana centralizes every task with clear owners, due dates, and dependencies—all in one place. Automated reminders and real‑time dashboards give us full visibility into who’s working on what and when it’s due.it is really easy to use looking forward to start using it in our company.

 ### 46. A Solid Tool for Project Planning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mr S. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like how simple and well-organized Asana is. It makes managing tasks and projects much easier, and it helps me stay on track because I always know what I should be working on next.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One thing I dislike is that some advanced features can feel a bit overwhelming at first. When managing larger projects, there are many options and views, so it can take some time to get used to the workflow.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me plan projects, organize priorities, and keep track of deadlines. It gives me a clear picture of what's in progress and what's coming next, which helps me work more efficiently and avoid missing important tasks.

 ### 47. Seamless Team Collaboration with Handy MS Teams Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayush K. | BDE, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best is how easy and clean it is to use even for daily heavy work. I can create tasks, assign them to team members and also set deadlines very quickly. The dashboard and list view helps me see all tasks in one place so I don’t miss anything.

I also like the way it shows task progress, like what is completed and what is still pending. It makes tracking work very simple. Team collaboration is also good, we can add comments inside tasks so everything stays in one place instead of chats or emails.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One thing I don’t like is sometimes it feels little limited when projects become more complex or detailed. Some advanced features are not very easy to understand in starting.

Also notifications can be too much, like I get many updates which is sometimes distracting during work. Mobile app also not always smooth, sometimes it lag or take time to load tasks.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana has solve one of the major problems for us, that is of Collboartion, as i am on the marketing side, if i have any work with sales team, i dont have to go back and forth on emails, I can just create the task on asana and assign it to the team member and set the deadlines and set priority.

I can also add my seniors to it. Also, the work calender is so much good that whenever anyone wants to see what work was done on the specific day, they can see that.

Now everything is in one place, I can clearly see task status, deadlines and responsibilities. It helps me stay organised and not forget important work.
Because of this, my work is more smooth and less confusion in team. It also saves time in follow ups and improves overall productivity.

 ### 48. Streamlined Task Management with Customizable Automations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lis M. | Owner, The Sunny Side Ops, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana for both my personal and work task management. I love the rules and automations you can build in, especially now that we can duplicate and shift around rules. These features help with auto-assignments and ensure that tasks aren't left unattended when they should be addressed. It's really helpful to be able to assign a rule to repetitive tasks to take care of them for me. The initial setup of Asana was very easy, even though it started as something pretty bare bones, it has evolved over time.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I don't love the small visual tweaks and improvements they're trying to make. Now it's harder to add my project that a task should be added to. It looks too similar to adding a subtask.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana organizes everything cleanly, saves me time daily, and its rules and automations ensure tasks aren't overlooked, automating repetitive assignments.

 ### 49. Streamlined Project Tracking and Collaboration with a Clean, User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikita R. | Service Delivery Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like most about Asana is how straightforward it makes project tracking and team coordination. The interface is clean and user-friendly, so creating tasks, assigning responsibilities, setting deadlines, and keeping an eye on progress all feels efficient and manageable. The timeline and board views make it easy to visualize each project stage, and the notifications and reminders help ensure nothing slips through the cracks. It also strengthens collaboration since team members can comment directly on tasks, attach files, and update statuses in one central place. Overall, it saves time, improves accountability, and keeps work organized, even when I’m managing multiple projects at once.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One thing I dislike about Asana is that some of the more advanced features are only available in the higher pricing plans, which can feel limiting for smaller teams. Also, when I’m managing multiple projects at once, the volume of notifications can become overwhelming. For new users, it may take time to fully understand everything that’s available, including features like rules, dependencies, and reporting. A simpler onboarding experience, along with more flexibility in the lower-tier plans, would make Asana even better.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps solve the problem of scattered communication and missed deadlines by keeping tasks, updates, and responsibilities in one central place. Before using it, it was hard to track project progress across emails and chats, but now it’s much easier to assign work, monitor deadlines, and follow project status in real time. As a result, team accountability has improved, follow-up time has decreased, and overall project execution feels more organized and efficient—especially when managing multiple tasks at once.

 ### 50. User-Friendly, Organized Workflow with Seamless Dropbox & Outlook Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindsay L. | Integrated Marketing Specialist II, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that is it user friendly and easy to train and onboard new users. I always feel organized when using it because it's so easy to use and I set things up in the way that makes sense to me. I like that it integrates with Dropbox and Outlook so I can easily import my emails as tasks. The AI features help when I can't figure something out or don't have time to build out a full project on my own.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Honestly, I've yet to find a downside. I have been using Asana since 2018 and it just keeps getting better.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking for a way to keep media traffic with our media company clean and easy to track, Asana made it easy to create a project for that and keep it all organized. We have a large client that we needed help organizing multiple projects for, we were using a spreadsheet before and this makes it easier for our team to manage.
