## Asana Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Task Management with Customizable Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love the ease of assigning and following up on tasks on time with Asana. The notifications and views help me see how tasks are progressing and if anything is stuck. I also appreciate the way tasks are organized and compiled, as well as the flexibility in customizing fields and reports. Additionally, connecting Asana with Teams makes notifications easier when tasks are assigned. The transition to Asana was smooth for my team, which I found impressive.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I don't like the downloadable features of tasks or projects in Asana. It would be helpful to have the ability to download tasks and timeframes in presentation decks with visuals for sharing with C-suites without them needing access to Asana or having to understand it.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana eases task assignment and follow-up on time, with notifications and views to track progress. The task organization and customizable fields and reports add flexibility.

 ### 2. Amazing for Centralizing Projects with Powerful Automations and AI Triggers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosario T. | Sr. People Ops & Analytics, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

It's an amazing tool to centralize projects and ensure all necessary steps of a process are followed. I love the automations and AI triggers. I implemented it and it was pretty easy. I ended up using it everyday with my team members and every time I had a question, the support team helped me out through the chat support.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish that the price could be more competitive compared to other similar tools. Other than that, I don't have any other suggestions for now.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's an amazing tool to centralize projects and ensure all necessary steps of a process are followed. I love the automations and AI triggers. I implemented it and it was pretty easy. I ended up using it everyday with my team members

 ### 3. Affordable, Customizable Asana That Keeps Small Teams Aligned and Moving Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom P. | Marketing Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana is affordable, highly customizable, and a perfect fit for busy small teams managing significant revenue and accountability, like we do at IronHead Roofing. It gives us the structure we need without being overly complex, which is critical when timelines, handoffs, and execution directly impact sales and customer experience.

It’s also very easy for new employees to learn, which helps us onboard quickly and get people contributing without a long ramp-up period. On top of that, Asana integrates extremely well with other tools we use, especially Slack, keeping communication and project updates centralized and reducing missed tasks.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The only potential downside is that Asana can feel a bit heavyweight or overwhelming for users who are only looking for very simple task management. If someone just wants basic to-do lists without structure, a lighter tool like Trello may be a better fit.

That said, for teams that need real visibility, accountability, and project structure, Asana’s depth is a strength rather than a drawback.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the problem of visibility and accountability across multiple projects and deadlines. Before using it, tasks could easily get lost in email or conversations, especially with a small team juggling priorities that directly impact revenue.

Asana gives us a clear view of ownership, deadlines, and progress in real time, which helps us execute more consistently, hit deadlines, and onboard new team members faster. It’s also especially helpful for team members who aren’t in the software every day, because I can schedule simple email reminders to keep them engaged and on track without requiring daily logins. That flexibility has been a big benefit for our workflow at IronHead Roofing.

 ### 4. Great for Managing Multiple Projects with Handy Teams & Outlook Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katie M. | Director - Channel Growth, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love the ability to manage multiple projects across my team and manage myself. I've set up a customized view of my to-do list which is full of recurring reminders, random tasks, and assigned tasks from current projects. The connection to Microsoft Teams and Outlook is also incredibly handy.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The only big downfall I've seen is the inability to increase the font size within the desktop app. It also has limited abilities for calendar planning. I love that a project has the calendar view, but it's really limited in how things can be colored or how they appear. If they could improve that feature so I could truly turn on calendar view and show that to executives, that would be amazing.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a fully remote marketing team in a fully remove company. Asana gives us the ability to work efficently across states, time zones, and countries without losing collaboration.

 ### 5. User-Friendly Platform with Great Integrations for Growing Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bree M. | Director Of Marketing And Community Relations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

It's very user-friendly and even for non-tech people. I like that it integrates with many tools that I use including Google Drive, Slack, and Outlook. I have a small team, so it's nice to have a platform that I can use from a smaller company and still use if my team expands.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Paid plans can get expensive...and though some of the basic features are okay for non-techies, there can be a learning curve, which can take time. And sometimes, I do get overwhelmed with all the notifications.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helped with project management and organization for sure. It helps with deadlines and holds people accountable for their work. I like that the most.

 ### 6. User-Friendly Platform with Time-Saving Dashboards

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eula T. | Manager of Title III, Sponsored Programs, and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I use Asana to manage my grant team of 11 people, and it absolutely helps with communication, adhering to due dates, and centralizing information. I love the dashboard feature that gives me an overall view of progress and allows me to see a snapshot of everyone's task progress, which saves me time. I also love the "Curated Work" section; it is like a "one-stop shop". I use this section to pin all the necessary forms and documents that my team needs to perform their duties. Lastly, the thing I love most is that it is extremely user-friendly; I got my team up and running in a very short time. I also appreciate the 'Total task by completion status' feature, which is valuable for quickly seeing task completion status and saves me a great deal of time. The initial setup was extremely easy!

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The only potential issue thus far has been related to adding licenses. We needed 10 additional 'seats,' but were required to purchase 20 because of the number of 'seats' we already had. This could be cost-prohibitive for some and possibly hard to 'justify' to administrators.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to manage my grant team, improving communication and adherence to due dates. It centralizes information, and the dashboard gives an overview of progress, saving time and aiding proactive task management.

 ### 7. Asana’s Flexible Views and Smooth Integrations Keep Our Team in Sync

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhwanil K. | Data Designer / User Engagement, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana's UI is one of its strongest assets, the ability to toggle between list, board, timeline, and calendar views means every stakeholder sees work the way they think about it, which alone reduces alignment meetings. Integrations with Slack, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams are smooth and genuinely save time; getting a Slack notification when a task is updated keeps the whole team in sync without logging in constantly. Performance is reliable even across large, multi-team projects. The AI-powered task suggestions and auto-prioritization features are a nice touch, though still maturing. Onboarding new team members is relatively painless thanks to intuitive UX, most people are productive within a day or two without formal training.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Pricing scales up quickly once you need advanced features like timeline, workload management, or reporting, what starts as an affordable tool can become a significant line item for mid-sized teams. The native reporting and dashboards feel limited compared to dedicated BI tools; getting meaningful cross-project insights often requires exporting data elsewhere. AI features are present but still feel surface-level, more of a roadmap promise than a current differentiator. Support response times can be slow on lower-tier plans, and onboarding resources, while plentiful, are often too generic to address specific enterprise use cases.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the chaos of managing multiple workstreams across teams that don't share a common way of tracking work. Before using it, project status lived in a mix of emails, spreadsheets, and Slack threads, making it hard to get a clear picture of what was on track and what wasn't. Now, cross-functional dependencies are visible, task ownership is unambiguous, and stakeholders can self-serve on project status instead of waiting for an update. The biggest benefit has been the reduction in coordination overhead, fewer status meetings, fewer dropped balls, and faster escalation when something is genuinely at risk

 ### 8. Asana for HR Department

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vyacheslav L. | Researcher, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The platform remains incredibly intuitive for team collaboration. I particularly enjoy the recent improvements in automation and task dependencies, which help keep workflows organized without constant manual checking. The interface is clean, and the cross-platform synchronization is seamless, making it easy to stay on top of things from any device.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The pricing structure can be a bit rigid for smaller teams or specialized projects, as some essential features are locked behind higher tiers. Additionally, while the minimalist design is great, I would appreciate more advanced UI customization options, such as a wider range of themes and color settings to improve visual navigation during long work sessions.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems thas Asana is solving the best for me are about communication between remote workers. I'm HR, so my prerogative is communication in a company.

 ### 9. Saves Time with Intuitive UI and Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay L. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that Asana's UI is easy to understand and pleasant, making it efficient to use. Their training program is outstanding, with great courses that are thorough and easy to take. I also appreciate that notifications are flexible and can happen via email or OS notification. The task templates are a big time-saver for projects with repeatable tasks. Additionally, the integration with other tools like Jira, Zoho Desk, email, and Slack is awesome. Lastly, setting up Asana was super easy, and I enjoy the flexibility and features it offers.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I'd like a bit more flexibility with project level customization - like adding date fields that can then be used in rules that auto-calculate and populate due dates, for example. I think the rules engines and workflow could be expanded a bit to have more flexibility.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps ensure everyone is on board and up to date on current tasks, deadlines, and completed work.

 ### 10. Best Productivity Tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bishal D. | Founder and CTO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really appreciate how Asana helps me handle multiple projects at once. The newly launched Timesheets and Budgets add-on is perfect for tracking our runway and managing grant allocations efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana should really think on the pricing model they offer, even with the free plan when you signup you will be automatically given some pro features like timeline, chart etc and after 30 days you will be locked out of your own data and will be asked to upgrade your plan to unlock your data, sure you can export your data but it is not as efficient/useful.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps in managing my different projects easily. Be it be project research, team management, task management or any other thing that you can expect from a productivity management tool you will find here.

 ### 11. Streamlined Project Management with Excellent Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like being able to forward Slack and email messages from my coworkers to my Asana board. We also autoforward emails from our shared inbox to an Asana board. From there, we figure out whose job it is to pick up that email. It allows us to cut down response time by allowing us to immediately identify which member of our team ought to pick up the email in question. The initial setup of Asana was easy breezy, with no big issues.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish the Asana workflows had the option to add a delay step (i.e., when a task is added, wait 5 minutes, and then run Asana AI step). That way, the Asana AI steps don't run so prematurely.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps us manage our project pipeline, stay on top of tasks, and ensures visibility on deadlines, reducing communication errors. It supports swift email response by clearly assigning tasks, improving efficiency.

 ### 12. One of the best software for work and project management.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ovesh S. | Search Engine Optimization Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2022

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Nothing new that could be revolutionery helpfu.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Still the same issue, that we can not short the task by date or do not have option for ascending for descending order, this is is very big problem when you are creating monthwise task and the project is with us for more than 2 years. My advice here is to add new subtask/task top of it instead of bottom.

**Recommendations to others considering Asana:**

You must have it if you want to manage your project smoothly.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy manage projects where you have more one team working on a same projects. For example any digital makting project there will be more than 3 to 4 team will be working on it like SMM team, PPC team, SEO team, dev team, CSM etc.
Asana is very helpful in managing tasks.

 ### 13. Seamless Outlook & Teams Integration That Boosts Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Integration with other programs such as Outlook and Teams. We are a Microsoft shop so the ease of integrating Asana tasks between programs is essential and has exponentially helped me increase my productivity

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The AI feature is still a little quirky and does not understand, which I believe to be certain commands. The AI model could be improved to alleviate redundant requests and inquiries.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana has helped me managing various project portfolios. In Operations, I often manage various complex projects, and in recent years, office closures and relocations. Asana helped me to streamline all tasks, due dates and communicate and delegate tasks to my team and even external vendors when managing office these large scaled projects.

 ### 14. Asana: Best-in-Class Project & Task Management with Smart Priorities and Calendly Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Izham R. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana is the best in project and task management because you can change and add priority to tasks and ensure the most critical task at that time is completed first, the task's status tracker help you to see and view which tasks is still in pending and holding the progress and clear-up the bottleneck so it won't interfere with other task anymore. Furthermore, Asana's integration with Calendly allows for professional meeting scheduling for team to discuss on project, improving clear communication across department, facilitate a high-performing projects management and tasks tracker.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana has no major problem, just some minor bugs with the graphic display that is not changing after a task is updated from pending to complete, but the bugs only stay for several hours, nothing too serious.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana help teams to centralize project management, tasks tracking, status updates and communication under one platform, I don't have to subscribe to different software anymore to keep the project organize and trackable. I can say that Asana is popular in keeping project on track with its high-performance features.

 ### 15. Clear Ownership and Progress Tracking Made Easy with Asana

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu V. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is how clear it makes work ownership and progress.

Tasks are easy to create, assign, and track, and there’s very little ambiguity about who’s responsible for what. You can see what’s in progress, what’s blocked, and what’s overdue at a glance, which cuts down on follow-ups and status meetings.

I really like the multiple views. List, board, timeline, and calendar views let different teams work the way they prefer without changing the underlying structure. It adapts well whether you’re managing day-to-day tasks or longer project plans.

The dependencies and timelines are another strong point. Being able to see how one task impacts another helps with realistic planning and avoids surprises later.

Asana also strikes a good balance between structure and usability. It’s powerful enough to manage complex projects but still approachable for people who aren’t project management experts.

Overall, it brings order to work. Things feel more predictable, visible, and easier to manage, especially when multiple teams are involved.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

What I dislike most about Asana is that it can start to feel heavy as projects and teams scale.

With a lot of tasks, subtasks, custom fields, and rules, things can become cluttered if there isn’t strong discipline around how projects are structured. Without clear conventions, it’s easy for boards and lists to get messy and harder to navigate.

The notification system can also be overwhelming. You can end up getting notified for changes that aren’t always relevant, which creates noise unless you spend time tuning settings.

Some advanced features feel locked behind higher plans, which can be limiting if you want deeper reporting or automation without upgrading.

Reporting, while improving, still feels less flexible compared to more enterprise-focused tools. For complex cross-project insights, it sometimes requires workarounds or exports.

Asana works best when teams are aligned on how to use it. Without that alignment, it can quickly become more work to manage than it saves.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana is solving the problem of unclear ownership and lack of visibility in day-to-day work.

It gives teams a shared place to track tasks, deadlines, and dependencies, so work doesn’t live in scattered messages or personal to-do lists. Everyone knows what they’re responsible for and how their work fits into the bigger picture.

It also helps solve coordination issues across teams. Dependencies and timelines make it clear when one task is blocking another, which reduces last-minute surprises and constant follow-ups.

Another problem it addresses is progress tracking. Instead of asking for status updates, you can see real-time progress directly in the project view.

The benefit for me is predictability and focus. Work feels more organized, priorities are clearer, and there’s less time spent chasing updates or figuring out what needs to be done next. It helps teams stay aligned and move forward with fewer misunderstandings.

 ### 16. Asana Sets Up my Day for Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicia T. | Owner and Principal Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

It keeps me on task. I love seeing what i need to accomplish for the day. Keeps me from getting overwhelmed

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It is expensive for a multi person team. We were on the free plan and got hooked, then changed an email and no one could seem to grandfather me in even though I was the same person and business and just changed the name. That was my biggest annoyance with Asana

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team works remote and asana is the perfect way we can collaborate effectively from our own spaces and time zones.

 ### 17. Intuitive and Efficient for Enterprise Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maria F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like how Asana allows me to track the progress of projects across my whole organization, avoiding the need to reach out to people personally for status updates. I enjoy having all the information in a single place and having a detailed plan that clearly shows who is responsible for each task. The interface is so easy to use and very intuitive, which requires very little training to start using it. Additionally, I appreciate how everything is clear, and it provides a quick visualization of how things are tracking with reporting dashboards that offer a lot of insights.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I would like to be able to select different color themes based on my company palette. Then, on the left-hand side menu, all the projects are visible, and not all of them are relevant. The chat feature could be improved, to look more like Slack.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana avoids the need to reach out for status updates and consolidates information in one place, offering detailed plans and task responsibility clarity.

 ### 18. Effortless Organization and Streamlined Task Management with Asana

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jamie K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the way Asana is organized, making it easy to view my tasks by their due dates rather than by project, though I also appreciate the option to sort them by project. Adding tasks is straightforward and can be done on the app, through email, or by other people assigning tasks, which makes it feel very open-ended. I like that even if someone isn't on the same team, they can still view what's going on and contribute without a lot of hassle over permissions. The recurring tasks feature is handy for reminding me to do routine things, freeing up brain space since I can attach directions and links to tasks. Asana just seems to work really well; it's not hard to learn or wonky. I find it easier to learn than other project management tools I've seen in the past.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I'm still new to Asana, so it's still very shiny to me. I don't know that I've really run into a lot of things that can be improved.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to keep tasks organized, making it easy to know who's doing what and when it's due. It provides a clear and consistent way to communicate important project details across projects and teams.

 ### 19. Simplifies Freelance Workflow and Eases Anxiety

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kelly W. | Freelance Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like Asana's ease of use and simplicity while still being very customizable with new columns. It helps me keep track of everything in my head, reducing my anxiety about remembering it all. I also appreciate the easy communication of feedback using comments, which helps relay information and ideas to clients smoothly. The new columns are great for categorizing content ideas for clients by bucketing them, and they help me manage my overall content mix each month. The initial setup was very easy, which was another plus.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The only thing I could think of is I'd love a single seat option. Given I'm a freelancer that works with my clients as guests on projects, it doesn't make sense for me to have 2 seats.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me keep track of everything, reduces my anxiety trying to remember it all, and facilitates easy communication with clients through comments.

 ### 20. Efficient Project Management with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariana C. | Head of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that one task can be shared among many different projects, which allows me to manage multiple boards without having to duplicate the tasks. This feature is incredibly helpful for me as I manage the marketing team board and oversee individual tasks for contractors. Every contractor has their own board, and I can share tasks between my department board and each team member's board. It provides the view I need for each instance I manage. Additionally, the initial setup of Asana was very easy, making it convenient to start using the software.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Search for the tasks inside each board could be easier. When you search for something, it searches all boards and all tasks. I think better search filters and search results exhibition. A search by board would solve many of my issues.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana keeps my projects organized, manages backlog demands, and supports prioritization. I can share tasks across multiple boards, providing the view I need without duplicating tasks.

 ### 21. User-Friendly Task Management with Excellent Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ashlee e. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like that Asana is very user-friendly. It makes it easy for me to share what I'm doing with my bosses and colleagues, see what they're doing, and keep everything in one place for visibility. Setting up Asana was super easy, especially with the help of Asana Academy, which helped me a lot to learn and get started without needing to go through all the questions or contact support.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I haven't used it long enough to have any issues yet, but I see the fact that it's hard to archive or remove tasks without fully deleting them as an organizational issue.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves task management by providing visibility and keeping everyone on task. Its user-friendly interface makes it easy for me to share what I'm doing with my bosses and colleagues, while keeping everything in one place for better collaboration.

 ### 22. Asana’s Intake Forms Save Us Tons of Time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

It integrates with Google so that I can create tasks directly from email. I can also set up intake forms so projects populate natively in Asana, saving me time and keeping me from having to input projects manually. I've set my intake forms so that AI automatically assigns tasks to me and others on my teams, right down to anticipated deadlines. All I have to do is check the dates and that the tasks match the full scope of the project.. The user experience is also very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It's not as customizable as some of it's competitors. The app also needs updates all the time.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Asana for managing marketing projects across multiple organizations and service lines. It keeps our workflow straight, helps us track time, and ensures deadlines are met. It also provides each team member with personalized to-do lists.

 ### 23. Asana Keeps Projects, Priorities, and Workloads Crystal Clear

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Quentin J. | Information Technology Manager, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like best about Asana is its ability to provide clear visibility into projects, priorities, and team workloads from a single platform. It simplifies task assignment, sprint planning, change management, and cross functional collaboration while helping ensure deadlines and dependencies are tracked effectively.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

One of my main concerns with Asana is that some advanced reporting, portfolio management, and security features are only available in higher tier plans, which can increase costs for larger teams.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps solve the challenge of coordinating multiple projects, tracking priorities, and maintaining visibility across cross functional teams. It centralizes task management, project timelines, and team communication, reducing the need for manual status updates.

 ### 24. Asana Keeps Our Marketing Projects Aligned with Easy Collaboration and Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clara E. | Content Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

For a small marketing team like the one I'm on, Asana helps us keep track of all the projects we all have to manage together. The Collaborative abilities to comment, directly, edit, share, and update tasks is hugely beneficial for keeping everyone align. It integrates with other tools like Slack, HubSpot, and our file share, and it's relatively easy to learn and use. I like the help available if you need something you can't initially find.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I wish that it were more flexible and configurable to highly specific work that our niche industry calls for. I don't have as much power to segment things at a granular level, and we sometimes run into permission issues that don't 100% make sense for how we do work.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing where and how we do work, and keeping people updated on where others are in their workflows and processes.

 ### 25. Essential for Seamless Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karolina Z. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I find Asana really simple and user-friendly. I appreciate being able to create projects and assign tasks easily, along with managing statuses because everything is visible at first glance and organized well. The initial setup was crystal clear for me, and it helps me manage projects, assign tasks, schedule tasks, and keep track of everything efficiently. It's essential for my work, especially for serving as a knowledge hub for project info and seeing the progress of projects.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I would like to see a place where all the tasks that I engaged with are. Currently, I am using with my team a separate board for that, but I think it would be also useful to be ready to use for all users.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps with scheduling tasks, managing files, staying updated with daily tasks, tracking project progress, and serving as a knowledge hub for project info.

 ### 26. Asana Shines with Task Prioritization, Mass Updates, and Clear GANTT Views

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Talha I. | Marketing Module Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Task prioritization and mass updates are the best about Asana, allowing you to updates task information in one click and all the status is reflected at the same time. For user that prefer a visual over plain data, GANTT chart is your savior, it gives visual aids to track progress, status and issue tracking so you can know the status easier by a glance. While the implementation is easy, the learning curves keep new users on long training to understand how is all Asana's tools and features is running to keep high-performing output for professional task management.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana improves and simplify project and task management to industry standard, few visual bugs with GANTT visual keep popping and can mislead if users isn't double checking the final figures, which led to more confusion.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem that is solved by Asana is mainly with task progress and status updates, allocating team scheduling for project demand and set prioritization on task that is time-sensitive.

 ### 27. Intuitive UI, Simplifies Task Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parth R. | Business Development Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love Asana's UI; it's way too good, honestly. It's super easy to use, and we don't have to waste time teaching new people how to use it, which is great. The initial setup was very simple, like just installing it and getting it done. Asana really helps me keep track of what's been done and what's still pending. It also ensures that my team members can't lie about the work done.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Nothing as of now

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I like best about Asana is the organization.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

 ### 29. Enhances Project Clarity and Accountability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sammy K. | HR Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like how Asana helps manage my workload and create dashboards efficiently. It makes work clearer and more visible, which helps me see who is busy and where work might slip, so I can plan better and avoid overload. The dashboards give me a quick snapshot of projects, and the goal management features help manage everyday tasks in relation to the bigger picture. I also appreciate how it assists in setting deadlines and assigning tasks to create ownership and enables real-time tracking of projects.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I don't like that when you assign a task to someone, and they're not part of the project, they can't see what project the task is related to. It would be helpful if Asana could give a warning or allow the assignee to see with whom the task is shared and assigned. Otherwise, miscommunication happens.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps with setting deadlines, assigning tasks, and real-time tracking of projects. It makes work clearer and more visible, helping me see who's busy and plan better. Dashboards give a quick project snapshot, and goal management aligns everyday tasks with the bigger picture.

 ### 30. Streamlined Communication, Needs Better Notification System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cody B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like how easy it is to use Asana. It's quick and simple. The templates are really easy and well put together, which works really well for how we use it. Setting it up was super easy too, we just got everyone an account signed in and we were off to the races.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Sometimes I don't think Asana notifies clients when a task needs to be reviewed. I would appreciate not having to constantly tag our clients to get approval. I wish there was a better way to do that. Also, using Asana with Slack can be super annoying because I don't like having three notifications go off at once.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to help organize my business and ensure everyone stays on task. It solves communication problems, making sure client projects and tasks are done on time.

 ### 31. Excellent Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric S. | Partner Marketing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I have updated my review because I have gained experience using different project management tools. By far Asana is the best. Asana allows you to customize your workflows with some pretty advanced triggers. I prefer Asana over Monday

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana does have a more steep learning curve compared to Monday, although their team is very helpful during this process

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me streamline and organize my work. I oversee the project management function of my marketing team, and Asana helps me organize and submit project requests to multiple departments. Also, I use Asana to organize the many tasks that go into hosting events and tradeshows. Asana has a really convenient reporting tool that allows me to send updates to all stakeholders invovled about milestones achieved or roadblocks that may exist.

 ### 32. Workflow Wonders: Asana Edition

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nia S. | Project Manager/Team Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Asana?**

It keeps everything in one place. Tasks, projects, deadlines and team communication. The boards and timelines make it easy to see what’s happening and track progress, while assigning tasks and setting priorities helps the team stay organised and on the same page. It also helps with accountability.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I sometimes feels a bit overwhelming especially on larger projects where notifications and tasks start piling up.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps my team and me stay organised, keep track of progress and manage deadlines better. Having all our tasks and projects in one place makes it clearer who is responsible for what and helps that nothing gets missed which saves time and keeps everyone aligned.

 ### 33. Asana Keeps Our Team Organized and Accountable with Easy Templates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Architecture & Planning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I love that I can stay organized with projects. As a company, using Asana has been very helpful for the whole team to know who is responsible for what. I also like that we can copy and paste templates, which makes it easier to get a project started. Another thing I appreciate is that we can add an unlimited amount of tasks and keep them organized under different tabs.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Sometimes it feels like the AI tool takes over a bit; it just inserts itself at random.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a company that feels more organized now, and assignments don’t get lost.

 ### 34. Streamlined Team Collaboration with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the flow in Asana and how you can add to different projects without creating a new one. The sharing feature among team members is great because it cuts down on the time we'd otherwise spend in meetings. Plus, I'm a fan of integrating it with Outlook, particularly for assigning tasks through Outlook. The initial setup was very easy, with no issues at all, and the support from the university helped a lot.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Sometimes it requires a project to be added to another project, which can be a bit cumbersome. Also, the feature of automatic collaboration where you're assigned a project, but you might not have a clue about it, could be improved.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to navigate all our to-dos, cutting down on meeting times with its flow and sharing features.

 ### 35. Essential Tool for Marketing Project Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Santiago F. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like Asana's easy-to-use interface and appreciate that I can access it both in the web browser and on the desktop application. What I like the most is the integration with Claude, which allows me to automate the creation and management of project tasks. This integration helps streamline my workflow as I can run many of my tasks through Asana. It also aids in organizing tasks with specific descriptions, timelines, and priorities, making project management more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I think there are some issues when it comes down to bulk selecting. I have found myself having trouble using or maneuvering those functions. But other than that, everything is great.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to manage marketing projects, track timelines, and automate task creation and management with Claude integration. It helps me assign timelines, priorities, get updates, and send reminders, solving project tracking issues and keeping me informed about important tasks.

 ### 36. Powerful AI Integration Enhances Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like how Asana can be connected with AI tools, enabling us to create tasks, edit tasks, and leave comments using the MCP server, which is a really helpful and nice addition. This integration allows us to streamline workflows using AI tools, which is a great feature and represents a modern way of managing tasks and collaborating. Additionally, I enjoy using Asana's forms for ticket creation, which works really well for us, especially as it allows external requests from companies or employees not in our company, without needing an Asana account; it's really cool. I also appreciate how Asana automates tasks, with multiple rules in our projects that automatically change the status of tasks. This automation was a nice addition.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I found the official MCP server not very good, which made us turn to a third-party Asana MCP server to work with our infrastructure. It would be nice to have official MCPs that are easy to configure and an official way to access Asana from AI agents. Currently, using third-party solutions is not quite high-grade and doesn't offer the best experience. I expect these systems to work out-of-the-box, offering a smoother experience with official MCP tools. Also, synchronizing task statuses between multiple projects is problematic with Asana's built-in automation.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana for managing tasks across different initiatives in IT. It has a kind of wiki for documentation and collaboration with teammates. Asana's automation helps organize tasks, facilitating external requests through forms, which is really cool.

 ### 37. Collaborative and Highly Customizable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nika A. | Sales and Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really like its collaborative nature and how customizable it is.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

there are still some features that either don't work, or I have trouble setting up - for example, sending the tasks to a specific email that would then add those tasks to the specific project, and also to the specific column

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping the project on track, and how I can set up the Zapier automation, using it.

 ### 38. Intuitive Dashboard That Keeps Tasks and Clients Perfectly Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alpana C. | Digital PR Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The dashboard
How easy it is to use - anyone can use it - don't need any tutorials or videos to learn the usage
Keeps all tasks, all clients, all profiles segregated
Easy to add new tasks, update tasks, sort through separate projects
Tool also sends reminders in case you forget to login or check a task, notifies a user if task has been assigned.
I use it very day to keep up with my tasks and assignments.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There are some cons like you cannot export files to CSV or Excel sheet - which can be a issue while reporting
I tried to use the app on my mobile while I was travelling but it didn't give me the same functionalities found on the dashboard.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management. Keeping up with my tasks. I am a freelancer and work on several projects at the same time. This tool helps me track everything in one place. Helps me stay sane.

 ### 39. Flexibility and Powerful Features Enhance Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben L. | Director, Alumni Marketing and Communiications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I appreciate that Asana lets us view projects in different ways, like using a kanban board for new marketing requests, a Gantt chart for campaign timelines, and a calendar for email and social media schedules. The ability to multi-home tasks in multiple projects without copying them is a game-changer for keeping everyone updated through a single task entry. Asana's forms, automations, and rules simplify receiving requests, creating workflows, and managing tasks strategically. The flexibility that Asana offers by allowing each person to customize their work view is really valuable. Using the Asana plug-in for Outlook and Teams also helps me create tasks directly from emails or messages, which is convenient.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I would love the ability to add a prefix to all tasks within a project. I would love to be able to assign roles organization-wide rather than just per project. I often convert tasks into projects using project templates, and I would like to utilize automations/rules to auto-assign tasks and subtasks based on roles, which I cannot do organization-wide. Same with adding prefixes, currently, I have to copy/paste the project name into each task after it is created, which is time-consuming.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana to track marketing projects, facilitate communication with teams, and monitor progress effectively.

 ### 40. Effortlessly Streamlines Team Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I really appreciate the live training that Asana provides because it helps a lot with assignment certification and offers a step-by-step program. This training gives detailed information about every tab, including projects and portfolios, which I find to be more than enough. I also find Asana's design for each task very helpful, especially when setting up a scrum framework. As soon as I discovered the dashboard feature, it became invaluable for helping new team members move tasks across sections. It simplifies the process greatly, making it all very easy. Additionally, the dashboard's overview and summary are a great help when breaking down briefs into smaller pieces, which makes it accessible for the entire team. Overall, Asana works pretty well for our agency.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Nothing at this point

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps a lot with task designation and scrum methodology, allowing me to put parameters in place. The dashboard saves me time by making it easy to move tasks between sections, and the overview allows my team to access information in one spot.

 ### 41. Solid Project Management, Needs Smoother Feature Integration

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabby B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I find Asana pretty simple to use, especially the basic features which are easy to figure out. It's easy-ish to connect it to Google Calendar. I can keep track of tasks efficiently and notify other team members about their tasks to ensure accountability and that we don't miss any tasks.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

I feel like there are so many features and it's hard to actually know how to slowly integrate more and more of them for the best Asana experience. If there was a way to automate - set the end date and create a new project that has updated deadlines based on the new end date that would be great.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana for communication across teams, assigning tasks with deadlines, and tracking competing priorities. It helps notify and assign tasks to the right people, ensuring accountability.

It's a hub that allows multiple users to connect centrally and keep an eye on all the projects and tasks we're working on as the agency for multiple clients. I appreciate the new AI features and how they're helping us streamline workflows. The integration with Google Drive is also a big plus since we run the rest of the business on Google Workspace. The initial setup was really simple, and this made the transition smoother for us.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Nothing yet, we're newbies but we’re putting it through its paces already!

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana acts as a central hub, helping multiple users connect and oversee all project and task updates. The AI features streamline our workflows, enhancing productivity.

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

The UI is tidy and neat, and it makes cross-team collaboration easy with cross-project tagging, which can stay on track

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There are too many reminders for almost every single action, and it quickly becomes distracting, making it harder to keep track of which tasks to prioritize.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me both a macro and micro understanding.

 ### 44. Vital for Project Management and Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda T. | Operations Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like the fact that you can make tasks recurring in Asana, and you can also set milestones and goals. It's really handy that you can share them with your entire workspace instead of just one specific unit. I also appreciate the automation sets with rules, as they create an integrated system for the entire company to operate. Asana serves as our tool for tracking everything that's happening within all departments and stakeholders.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Those rules regarding subtasks could be improved. And also with Studio AI. Has a lot of room for improvement. I believe those are things that are being worked on.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves communication issues by giving visibility into project status and responsibilities, tracks development, and analyzes data from different perspectives.

 ### 45. Asana is a fantastic tool for work/project management

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana is helping us track various projects. We also use it heavily for tracking various steps that are needed to complete daily tasks

I love how I can customize it to fit my own needs for tasks and assignments, and the way it keeps everything organized and clean. Additionally, Asana works great for our company's needs, as I haven't faced any issues with starting and keeping projects organized. The initial setup was very simple and easy to use, and I also appreciate how well it integrates with Zoho CRM.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

There is nothing negative to say about Asana

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Asana daily to track client stages and communicate with clinical teams. It helps us assign projects, maintain productivity and accountability, and keeps tasks organized and clean.

 ### 47. Boosts Coordination but Challenging to Onboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wandia K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

I like how Asana keeps me up to date with my desk and tasks, which is really valuable in my role as a program manager. It effectively assists me in coordinating with all my team members on the different programs we're running. Asana's features allow me to send updates and keep track of the programs my team members coordinate as collaborators.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The swiftness of gelling with the platform. Even though there are videos that guide, sometimes you don't have time to go lesson by lesson. When we onboarded Asana, we joined the training, but some members were not quick to go back and maybe rewatch the videos. It would help if there was a prompt that notices underutilization of certain aspects of the tool and suggests videos to help optimize its use. The setup wasn't plug and play as it should be easy.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves coordination challenges, improves tracking of activities, and allows us to report timely by viewing and addressing issues early.

 ### 48. Asana Became the Operational Backbone of Our Agency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vito D. | Founder & Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana has become the operational backbone of our agency. For a small creative team managing 10+ active client accounts across video production, content strategy, and brand management, having a centralized task system with clear ownership and deadlines has been transformative. The project template functionality lets us spin up new client onboards fast with a repeatable structure, and the timeline view gives us visibility across overlapping production schedules — which is critical when we're juggling shoots, edit cycles, and content calendars simultaneously. It's also been key for keeping our pipeline organized as we've scaled from a solo operation to a five-person team.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

The learning curve for newer team members is steeper than it should be — getting contractors and part-time collaborators comfortable with Asana's project structures, custom fields, and views takes real onboarding time, which is a cost for a small agency that brings people on fast. The mobile app also feels limited compared to desktop; when I'm on set or between shoots, I want to quickly reassign or update tasks and the mobile experience feels clunky. I also wish there was a dedicated chat or messaging feature built into Asana — right now team communication lives in task comments, which buries conversations inside individual tasks and makes it hard to have broader project-level or team-wide discussions without jumping to Slack or text threads. The integration between Asana and tools like Google Drive and Frame.io could also be deeper — it's more of a link-drop than a true two-way sync, so we still end up bouncing between platforms to track deliverable status. For the price point, the reporting and dashboard features on the Business tier feel like they should offer more customization out of the box.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Asana, our project management was scattered across group texts, Google Drive folders, and mental checklists — which barely worked when it was just me, but completely broke down once I started bringing on editors, a content strategist, and client-facing team members. Tasks would slip, deliverables would get lost between shoots and edit cycles, and I was the bottleneck for every status update. Since implementing Asana, we've been able to run 10+ active client accounts simultaneously across video production, content strategy, and brand management without things falling through the cracks. Every shoot, edit round, and content calendar has clear ownership and deadlines, which means I'm spending less time chasing updates and more time on creative direction — which is where I actually add value. It's also made onboarding new contractors dramatically faster because the project templates and task structures speak for themselves instead of requiring me to walk someone through everything from scratch. For a small agency that scaled from one person to a five-person team in under two years, Asana is the reason that growth didn't come with operational chaos.

 ### 49. Optimize Project Management with Clear Flow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SARAI Z. | Process Engineer, Manufacturing, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Asana?**

Asana has been very useful for managing improvement projects in my current role as a process engineer. What I like the most is that it has a very clear workflow, for example with the task flow: pending, in progress, in validation, and closed. Asana makes it easy to follow up on actions resulting from meetings and ensures that things actually get done. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

It can become burdensome to carry when there are many active projects.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana helps me manage improvement projects, facilitates the tracking of actions after meetings, and ensures that tasks are actually executed.

 ### 50. Every org I work in, I convince them to use Asana

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Asana?**

What I appreciate most about Asana is its impressive balance between power and simplicity. The platform is robust enough to handle complex, cross-functional projects, yet the user experience remains light, modern, and even enjoyable—something that's uncommon in work software.

Several aspects really stand out to me. First, the ease of use: the interface is intuitive and visually clean, allowing new users to become productive quickly. Customization is another highlight; you can adapt workflows, projects, fields, views, automations, and templates to your needs without requiring an admin or outside consultant to set things up.

Asana also offers a deep set of features—tasks, rules, portfolios, forms, goals, dependencies, reporting, and more—without ever feeling overwhelming or bloated. Integrations are straightforward to set up and work reliably, which is especially valuable for coordinating across teams.

One of the strongest points is how the tool encourages daily use by consistently delivering value. It becomes a habit because it helps keep work organized and manageable. The fun, human touches in the UI, like celebrations and a modern design, make the experience more engaging and enjoyable, which in turn boosts consistency and adoption.

Overall, Asana is one of the rare tools that supports serious project execution while remaining approachable and pleasant to use.

**What do you dislike about Asana?**

Asana offers a remarkable level of flexibility, though this same flexibility can introduce a learning curve for teams unfamiliar with structured work management tools. Without setting clear conventions—such as consistent naming standards, project templates, and defined intake workflows—work can easily become somewhat inconsistent between teams.

I do find myself wishing that the reporting and dashboard features were more robust by default, especially when it comes to handling complex, organization-wide metrics. While it is possible to create the necessary reports, it sometimes requires additional configuration or access to higher-tier features.

Nevertheless, the user interface and overall user experience are streamlined enough that the platform rarely feels overwhelming. Additionally, the support resources provided help make the implementation process smoother compared to many other tools in this space.

**What problems is Asana solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asana solves the biggest challenge in cross-functional work: alignment without chaos. It creates a single system for planning, tracking, and executing work across teams—without turning into a rigid or overly complex project management platform.

I like how it helps with:
Clear ownership and accountability: tasks, deadlines, and responsibilities are obvious, which reduces follow-up and “who’s doing what?” confusion.
Faster execution and fewer meetings: status updates happen inside the work itself, so we spend less time syncing and more time delivering.
Smooth implementation + scalable usage: onboarding teams is fast because the interface is intuitive and the structure is flexible. Once teams start using it, it becomes part of daily workflow quickly.
AI + smart automation: Asana’s AI and automation features help with niche challenges like summarizing updates, creating tasks from context, and reducing administrative overhead—something other platforms feel weaker at.
Integrations reduce tool-switching: Asana integrates easily with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Teams, Jira, and more, which keeps workflows connected without friction.
