Personio is one of the best HR tools I have used so far. At first, I didn't have high expectations, but after using it daily for several years, it became easier and easier to work with. It greatly helps in organizing, documenting, and efficiently managing daily to-dos in the HR field. What I particularly like is the ability to customize many things individually – for example, adding additional holidays for other countries, creating custom feedback cycles, or incorporating automatic calendar notifications. The integration of payroll functions and the clear presentation of all relevant data are also excellently implemented. I actually like everything about Personio. What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you? Personio is an HR management tool that can map many – if not all – HR processes in a single software. This makes it easier and faster to organize daily business, and everyone can access relevant information upon request. Personio is not only helpful for HR administrators but also for the employees themselves: Every employee can have their own account to update their data, view vacation plans, track onboarding appointments, and much more. Nothing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Personio? We're extremely unhappy with Personio. The setup is very clunky and complicated, and the overall user experience isn't great. Everything it does seems like things we could do cheaper and easier manually. Syncing to other tools is difficult, and navigation is hard. It's tough to find things and download files, and the whole setup feels old-fashioned. It also has limited features compared to US counterparts like Rippling. The integration with data for payroll on the backend is really clunky. Setting it up requires a lot of effort and people since nothing is properly automated. The team doesn't like it at all. Last but not least their cancellation policies are unheard of (3 months).
