What do you like best about Haiilo?

We do not use the Haiilo software as an internal solution, but rather to build a community with our external customers/partners and as an information and communication platform with external parties on campus.

The following points are particularly positive for us:

- very intuitive and self-explanatory operation, as it is similar to social media tools

- sophisticated and detailed rights and roles concept possible, which is particularly important for external use

- comparatively quick and easy creation of content through a modular system

- the most important functions and some helpful additional functions, such as surveys, are covered

- very helpful customer support

What do you dislike about Haiilo?

As disadvantages of using Haiilo, I find:

- that you have to upload photos multiple times if you want to use different formats and crops

- the price-performance ratio is significantly better with larger license numbers, which is understandable but difficult for smaller companies

What do you like best about Haiilo?

the usability, the intuitive handling since it reminds of common socials Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haiilo?

quite strict ways to display anything, little flexibility when it comes to own ideas on how to design an article, a static page, an event.. copyy paste does often not work, translation does not work once the text has been copied and pasted including format, display of photos in articles always has to be the same, need of uploading a photo three times if you want to use it as a normal photo, as a square and a 3:1 format. Implementation was mostly on our own, customer support is never via telephone but only via ticket. Login to community and service area failed multiple times yet and noone from Haiilo really assists in solving the problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Haiilo?

What I particularly like about Haiilo is that the administration is overall very simple and clear. The assignment of rights and access works straightforwardly and reliably. Additionally, the platform offers many flexible options for providing content. I find it particularly valuable that employees can also be easily involved by contributing content themselves. The customer support is very good, and through the roadmap and client community, you as a customer are always kept up to date with news and features. What do you like best about Haiilo?

I greatly appreciate the intuitive structure of Haiilo's platform and the customer support. The rights and roles system is very structured and allows for many scenarios. The initial setup of Haiilo was very easy, and once the framework was in place, the migration and creation of content were also very simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haiilo?

The integration of images, but especially videos on the timeline, needs improvement. Video files are not displayed as previews, but only as files under a timeline post. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Haiilo?

They have changed the entire reporting structure. Earlier it was easier to get reports with filters but with the latest update, you cannot get specific data. Also, the reach varies drastically from one month to another from 6 Million it drops to 800K and then climbs again to 9 Million with almost similar shares and post numbers. What do you like best about Haiilo?

Haillo's frontend is reminiscent of Studi-VZ or Facebook, making it easier for a target audience familiar with these sites to use. The profile feature is a nice, clean feature of this employee engagement platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haiilo?

The design is no longer quite up to date. Although there is a dedicated messenger, unfortunately, there is no external messenger integration. There is no way to individually configure dedicated email notifications. The appearance of the mobile app could be clearer. A disaster is the inadequate ability to integrate graphics, as there are not even photo galleries to display, for example, the pictures from the company Christmas party. What do you like best about Haiilo?

The tech support is very professional and always available. We have opened heaps of tickets in the last year, and most have been resolved. On the desktop version, Haiilo is easy to use and the structure of pages, communities & events makes sense. The forms are fantastic and are our most used feature. The studio is a handy feature to reach certain target groups and has improved in its functionality since we started using Haiilo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Haiilo?

We couldn't use one of the expensive additional features we had booked for months, and had to put a lot of hours of work into just finding what the problem is. This eroded trust in the intranet itself.

We noticed after a while, that while Haiilo claims to try to always develop with their customers wishes in mind, if you have needs that are contrary to what most Haiilo customers need, you are simply disregarded. Features which we have regularly used have, for example, been taken away from us in favor of a new development which did not do anything for us and we did not ask for. Biggest example here: The change from customizable mobile homepages to the mobile dashboard. The big question: Why not leave the customers the choice to go on board with the changes or stay with their old established processes?

While the desktop version is customizable and visually easy to understand, the app is becoming more and more illogical. Sometimes not even our IT team understands where to click to get to where they need to go.

We have bought the M365 integration but ended up not really using it as Haiilo integrated into Teams didn't work satisfactorily, and SharePoint documents were always easier to find via Microsoft than via Haiilo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
