  ### 1. Intuitive community platform with creative features

**What do you like best about Haiilo?**

We do not use the Haiilo software as an internal solution, but rather to build a community with our external customers/partners and as an information and communication platform with external parties on campus. 
The following points are particularly positive for us:

- very intuitive and self-explanatory operation, as it is similar to social media tools
- sophisticated and detailed rights and roles concept possible, which is particularly important for external use
- comparatively quick and easy creation of content through a modular system
- the most important functions and some helpful additional functions, such as surveys, are covered
- very helpful customer support
- great opportunities for activities that bring traffic to the platform, such as a digital advent calendar. Thank you to the Haiilo team for the creative ideas and support in this ;-)

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

As disadvantages of using Haiilo, I find:

- that you have to upload photos multiple times if you want to use different formats and crops
- the price-performance ratio is significantly better with larger license numbers, which is understandable but difficult for smaller companies
- that automatic translation is not possible for all functions/contents

**What problems is Haiilo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Haiilo can be a great help when it comes to
- providing information quickly, easily, in a structured and visually appealing way to a specific target group
- improving cross-industry, external communication, as there is no need to search for contact details, etc.
- building a network and easily getting in touch with people

**What do you like best about Haiilo?**

the usability, the intuitive handling since it reminds of common socials

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

quite strict ways to display anything, little flexibility when it comes to own ideas on how to design an article, a static page, an event.. copyy paste does often not work, translation does not work once the text has been copied and pasted including format, display of photos in articles always has to be the same, need of uploading a photo three times if you want to use it as a normal photo, as a square and a 3:1 format. Implementation was mostly on our own, customer support is never via telephone but only via ticket. Login to community and service area failed multiple times yet and noone from Haiilo really assists in solving the problem.

helping our non-desk workers being informed about everything that happens in the company

There is nothing about dislike just sometimes UI gets stuck but they are providing best services which make them best in market .

**What do you like best about Haiilo?**

What I particularly like about Haiilo is that the administration is overall very simple and clear. The assignment of rights and access works straightforwardly and reliably. Additionally, the platform offers many flexible options for providing content. I find it particularly valuable that employees can also be easily involved by contributing content themselves. The customer support is very good, and through the roadmap and client community, you as a customer are always kept up to date with news and features. And last but not least: It's simply fun to work with Haiilo.

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

Less positive is the fact that many features are license-bound. Especially in larger companies, even smaller new functions can quickly cause high additional costs, so one must weigh carefully.

**What problems is Haiilo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We faced the challenge of replacing a technically outdated system that was very complex and offered no interaction possibilities for users. Training the employees was also difficult and time-consuming. With Haiilo, we found a solution that is significantly easier to use, enables interaction, and can also be used on mobile devices without any problems. In the future, we will also use digital signage, allowing us to make our internal communication even more versatile.

Very clear. Corporate communication on all channels. Very good support. The administration allows for uncomplicated management.

Few opportunities to make communication creative. I would wish for a better way to integrate media (videos, audios, etc.).

We want to get all employees onto one platform to facilitate communication and create added value. An overview of news, events, and everything that is upcoming. Haiilo is also perfectly suited as a file storage for templates and important documents.

I greatly appreciate the intuitive structure of Haiilo's platform and the customer support. The rights and roles system is very structured and allows for many scenarios. The initial setup of Haiilo was very easy, and once the framework was in place, the migration and creation of content were also very simple.

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

The integration of images, but especially videos on the timeline, needs improvement. Video files are not displayed as previews, but only as files under a timeline post.

Haiilo connects all employees, promotes active communication, and makes it easier to find information and experts.

**What do you like best about Haiilo?**

They have changed the entire reporting structure. Earlier it was easier to get reports with filters but with the latest update, you cannot get specific data. Also, the reach varies drastically from one month to another from 6 Million it drops to 800K and then climbs again to 9 Million with almost similar shares and post numbers. There is no logic behind the variation.

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

Ensure transparency to make us understand how the reach, earned media value, etc are calculated. Make it easy for user to download data

**What problems is Haiilo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest problems I was facing was unable to make video posts. However, this problem is solved, and I can now use videos I make for social media platforms in Haiilo too. Super helpful

**What do you like best about Haiilo?**

The tech support is very professional and always available. We have opened heaps of tickets in the last year, and most have been resolved. On the desktop version, Haiilo is easy to use and the structure of pages, communities & events makes sense. The forms are fantastic and are our most used feature. The studio is a handy feature to reach certain target groups and has improved in its functionality since we started using Haiilo.

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

We couldn't use one of the expensive additional features we had booked for months, and had to put a lot of hours of work into just finding what the problem is. This eroded trust in the intranet itself. 

We noticed after a while, that while Haiilo claims to try to always develop with their customers wishes in mind, if you have needs that are contrary to what most Haiilo customers need, you are simply disregarded. Features which we have regularly used have, for example, been taken away from us in favor of a new development which did not do anything for us and we did not ask for. Biggest example here: The change from customizable mobile homepages to the mobile dashboard. The big question: Why not leave the customers the choice to go on board with the changes or stay with their old established processes?

While the desktop version is customizable and visually easy to understand, the app is becoming more and more illogical. Sometimes not even our IT team understands where to click to get to where they need to go. 

We have bought the M365 integration but ended up not really using it as Haiilo integrated into Teams didn't work satisfactorily, and SharePoint documents were always easier to find via Microsoft than via Haiilo.

**What problems is Haiilo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Haiilo, we had  a huge issue getting feedback from our storefront employees, as e-mail was the only means of communication. Now we have two-way-communication. Updates and context from the administration work much better as a blogpost via Haiilo, which potentially reaches every single employee and not just the one desktop computer per store, as it was before.

What I like most about the employee app is the easy and fast communication with colleagues and superiors. Thanks to the chat and notification function, everyone stays up to date without having to rely on emails or notices. The user-friendliness and modern design also make the app very pleasant to use.

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

A small drawback is that the app sometimes loads a bit slowly, especially during peak times. Additionally, some features, such as the search function or the filter options, could still be improved.

**What problems is Haiilo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The employee app particularly solves the problem of inefficient and time-consuming communication within the company. Before the introduction of the app, many pieces of information had to be shared via emails, notices, or meetings, which could lead to delays and misunderstandings. With the app, it is now possible to communicate quickly and directly with colleagues and superiors without relying on external communication channels. The ability to immediately disseminate short-term changes and company news via push notifications is also particularly important, ensuring that all employees are quickly and easily informed. Furthermore, the app promotes networking within the team, as it provides a simple platform to make contacts and strengthen collaboration, regardless of whether one is working in the office or from home. Overall, it ensures better organization and increases efficiency by digitizing many tasks that were previously done manually or by phone.

**What do you like best about Haiilo?**

Haiilo is a tool that can be used well even without IT experience. The modular system makes it easy to create individual pages, departments, or pages (communities). The functions available also cover a wide range of requirements for an intranet. Additionally, there is a whole range of widgets that make everything from link buttons to image galleries possible. Haiilo also offers its customers many add-ons besides the intranet, such as the Breakfast Club for networking.

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

The downside of Haiilo is the drawback of the modular system: Unfortunately, many things are predetermined and therefore not always 100% compatible with a desired corporate identity. Additionally, the tool is very much designed for active communication among colleagues; for a more passive approach (e.g., just for information dissemination), the tool is less suitable.

We had a problem with the flooding of employees' mailboxes with messages about the company as well as our products and the market. We were able to solve this problem with Haiilo, as we have created a central source of information here.

**What do you like best about Haiilo?**

Haiilo is far more than just a platform for us – it is the central hub for our internal communication and exchange among colleagues. We are particularly impressed by the user-friendliness: whether user, page, or community admins, everyone quickly finds their way around. This makes content creation easy and noticeably increases engagement on the platform.  
But Haiilo offers more than a great platform. The Help Desk is reliable and helpful, the Haiilo Breakfast Club ensures regular exchange, and the Client Community allows networking with other companies and staying informed about product updates. The annual Client Summit is particularly valuable – a perfect opportunity to gain new insights and learn best practices.  
For our employees, Haiilo has become indispensable: it is the place where information is found and shared and where exchange between colleagues is promoted.

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

Of course, there is always potential for improvements. As a standard product, Haiilo cannot cover all of our individual requirements – but that is the case with any software of this kind. Overall, the advantages clearly outweigh, and Haiilo remains a central component in our internal communication.

**What problems is Haiilo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Haiilo, we faced the challenge of reaching all employees and providing them with the right information. Important content often got lost, and engagement was rather low. With the Content Studio, we were able to significantly reduce this problem. Communication is now more structured, relevant, and reaches more employees. A big advantage is that everyone can now actively participate in internal communication – this leads to more exchange and engagement. Of course, the problem is not completely solved, but we are on a very good path. Thanks to Haiilo, we can better inform and connect our employees – a big step in the right direction!

The 'drag and drop' nature of the Haiilo solution makes it much more user friendly for an administrator compared with other platforms. Also, the proactiveness of the account team is fantastic, especially when keeping me informed of new functionality and developments.

Sometimes the amount of updates can be a little overwhelming, but more so on the technical 'fixes' side.

It is helping to inform a globally diverse workforce through one platform and with one voice.

Great tool that perfectly meets our needs. In addition, it is easy to use and easy to integrate. The staff is always reachable and support requests are processed quickly. Regular webinars and product updates keep you up to date. New features are constantly being added.

Every tool is capable of improvement - but I can't think of anything negative at the moment.

Sometimes I find it difficult to add posts from linkedin, but after 2-3 tries it happens

The platform has a modern interface and good communication channels to keep employees informed, it allows everyone to be updated, and periodic news content can be added for effective communication. The search panel is really interactive with a lot of customization and very user-friendly for our company's users. It is quite a collaborative option, basically all important content can be uploaded and organized, we are talking about academic content, work situations, and any content of interest to all employees of the organization, Haiilo allows elevating the brand, it is the voice that every company needs to reach employees faster, I must say that implementing the program has benefited the company and is very accepted by all our professionals, no doubt the program performs very well in professional situations, also opening better marketing channels with social networks and elevating the brand to other statuses.

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

It is mandatory to communicate with the support team to get information about the costs of the plans, many times the answers take a long time, and not only this type of discussion, the people in charge of solving problems often take a long time to give answers, it would be very useful to have a chat within the platform for a more effective communication, the integration with Slack is excellent, but having more options to improve the program would not be bad. They offer a demo, you contact the support team, and they give you some options, but everything is very delayed.

We use Haiilo as a news blog, where we upload constant information about the company for employees, the need to use it was that we always had to send mass mailings to all employees hosted in our company which made the information accumulate and generate overload, the tool arrived on time and organized all the content with excellent customization and design. The content is created quickly, the AI helps in some occasions, although we prefer content written by the company's staff so that it is not repetitive.

**What do you like best about Haiilo?**

Absolutely outstanding in terms of user-friendliness and intuitiveness of the system - and we tested many competing products as part of our analysis. Quickly to learn by users as well as editors, doesn't require a lot of training. Thoughtful concept. Also, the support and sales staff is very eager and quick and they are quite transparent in communicating their roadmap planned. Very easy to implement, without much support of inhouse IT or external partners.

I like the clean structure without a loaded mega-menu and the concept with mini-websites and communities gives our departments and locations a lot of flexibility. Pages are very easy to edit and layouts can be created very flexibly according to the various use cases. As a communication manager, I also like that the whole system is easy to administrate, even without help of our IT department.

**What do you dislike about Haiilo?**

I see room for improvement in the concept of multi-language support in the system, which is still somewhat immature and inconsistent in some places. Also it should be easier to address different target groups and share content selectively and flexibly with multi target groups or pages. We also miss page templates and a simple and fast copying, duplicating and moving of content from one space to another. Also I do not like that thumbnails are missing in the files overview and the handling of images can be confusing, as for example when creating news you have to upload these multiple times in different croppings, which is likely to quickly lead to chaos without a thumbnail view in the file library.

We were looking for a standalone intranet software solution for an easy, efficient and fast way to communicate with our employees. Topics such as multi-language and easy personalization options were key in the selection process. Also, we wanted to introduce a social intranet that helps to connect our employees worldwide and to strenghten exchange and interaction.
