What I like most about gradar is that it provides a fully transparent, objective, and legally defensible system for job evaluation and compensation, which is especially critical in Germany. It removes subjectivity from role grading and pay decisions by offering a clear, point-based framework that is understood and trusted across the company. This has significantly reduced internal friction and stabilized our HR processes. I also appreciate how well it supports equal pay and compliance with German labor laws. The built-in gender pay gap analysis, documentation, and audit trails mean we can prove fairness whenever needed without the stress of last-minute spreadsheets. This peace of mind is invaluable for businesses operating in Germany. Another advantage is the clear job architecture and career paths it offers, providing a unified structure across departments. Employees now understand how they can grow, and managers have clear guidelines for promotions and development, bringing order to what used to be messy and inconsistent. The platform is user-friendly for HR and managers alike, with a logical structure that doesn’t require extensive training. Even team leaders who aren't HR specialists can use it effectively. The biggest one is the user interface feels a bit dated and not very intuitive. Navigation can be slow, some menus are nested too deeply, and simple tasks like editing job descriptions or adjusting evaluation factors take more clicks than they should. It works, but it doesn’t feel modern or streamlined. We also find the reporting and dashboarding quite basic. For management summaries, salary band overviews, or quick equal‑pay dashboards, the options are limited. We often have to export data to Excel to create the visuals and summaries we actually need.
