Coming from a well-developed competitor, implementation was well-supported by Personios Customer Success Team. The tool is very easy to use and appreciated by employees across the company. After the tool initially showed slight deficits in some core functionalities (e.g. management of dual leadership and organizational units), in recent years we have seen huge progress in basic functions as well as in the further development of additional modules that provide great support in our HR processes. Also, integrations with other tools are very easy to set up and working really well. What really deserves to be highlighted is the great support provided by Personios Customer Success Team, which clearly stands out from all other vendors we're working with. Personally, I am still very satisfied with Personio and would recommend the tool to both small and mid to large-sized companies. **What do you dislike about Personio?** Basic functions were somewhat sidelined in the early days, while new modules were developed. There are many options to integrate data across platforms. It even supports payroll features and career progression. **What do you dislike about Personio?** Specific business requirements cannot be completed directly under certain circumstances (e. g. weekly hours are based on departments, but our business requires weekly hours to be based on regions / countries). It consumes a lot of time to consider changes / feature requests. It would be beneficial to include customer change requests on a more frequent basis and listen to what is important for the real end users / consumers. **What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is being used as our central HR system now. Employees can book absences from Personio and track their daily working hours through Personio. From an HR perspective we use it from employee onboarding, to offboarding and even push employee data over to other platforms (throuh the API integration). ### 7. There is room for improvement when it comes to the recruiting section in Personio, but that's nothing Personio is not aware of. They are always working on the existing ones and trying to improve and expand topics. Personio offers easy access for users to find their way around. It is very easy to get reporting with information instead of just data. The preparation of payroll accounting helps us very well in our collaboration with the external service provider. I would particularly like to emphasize the interface to DATEV, which is a real enrichment for payroll accounting. In recruiting, we keep a good overview of the candidates and can track their status very easily. Both digitally skilled and not skilled employees will have no issues using Personio in their daily working life. Customer support from Regina was very good and we really enjoyed working with her. The number of features within Personio constantly increases and even though not all aspects of HR work are covered, Personio offers a variety with wihich we can cover about 80 % of our daily work in HR. New features and smaller bug fixes are being released very regularly. Most features, like data importing and surveys, are helpful and well designed. Our assigned implementation manager, did a great job guiding us through the implementation phase and explaining us the best practises of setting up Personio. **What do you dislike about Personio?** Some features in Personio have major issues that should be addressed. The performance cycle feature needs the most work. As Admins, you don't have good overview on what is going on. We were unaware that some employees had almost 50 peer reviews until they complained to us and we were not able to remove the peer review which is something that created the biggest issue for us. There are many other minor issues that required work arounds. It would be benefitial for Personio to work on these low hanging fruits first instead of focusing on releasing new features which could create a new array of bugs. **What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?** We out grew our former HRIS and needed a good allrounder that will take care of the majority of our HR needs ### 35. Having said this, I really like the onboarding checklist. Moreover, time recording and absence leave request seems pretty straight forward for me. Thus, I really like Personio from a user perspective. **What do you dislike about Personio?** I do find the team absence dashboard somewhat overloading. Moreover, it would be beneficial to have a direct link to completed tasks (history). Calendar feature does allow me to see attendance across my entire team including sub-reports. GDPR compliance is good from my understanding **What do you dislike about Personio?** I use the tool almost daily to manage a team of 12 people globally, it doesn't have most of the features I'm used to from previous HR systems. Time Tracking - This tab is only for reviewing time tracking, if you want to enter it you to either clock in and then click edit time tracked, then click out of something and finally edit hours. Alternatively you can navigate to your user profile then goto the attendance tab? Why is it so hidden and buried. Additionaly no feature to follow up automatically with employees who haven't submitted time tracking. I have to manually check and follow up with them. if you want to copy time submitted to mutiple days, you must log it then copy. No ability to have it just auto fill it. Recruting - When reviewing an application, the actual resume only fills up 20% of the screen, Its so small I have to open in a separate window or goto linkedin to review the candidates qualifications. No automatic scoring system that can rank resumes based off keyworks. No ability to search submitted resumes across ANYTHING, even text fields they submitted during the application. No parsing of resumes in any way. No @ tagging system so I can notify a colleague to review something in a resume. Reviewing candidates is very painful. Performance & Development - Huge pain point for me here. No way to have employees get notified that a feedback cycle is ready, no way for employees to enter their comments before our review. I have to manually email them the performance questions to get their notes and then I copy/paste it in for them along with my comments. Every other system I've used in the past the employee gets notified first, they put in their comments first, then it goes to manager for review and their comments. Second major issue here for me is I can't see, edit, or add to comments from sub reports. If one of my direct reports has 4 people reporting into them, there is no way for me to see or access the performance of those sub-reports. Support - NO SUPPORT if you aren't the Admin / Contract owner. They don't offer support for actual business users. I personally run a support team so find this crazy. The support pages I don't find useful as they are difficult to search and navigate. Overall I can't recommend this tool to other business users, it makes my job as a manager harder and adds non-value added manual tasks to my role. **What problems is Personio solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is our Core HR platform, unfortunately its not meeting my needs ### 47.
