Deel Hire makes hiring and managing international contractors and employees much easier by handling contracts, compliance, and payments in one platform. The interface is generally easy to use, and it reduces the complexity of working with multiple countries and local regulations.

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

Customer support response times can be inconsistent, especially for more complex issues. Some features feel limited or rigid, and pricing can become expensive as you scale or add more services. Occasional platform glitches and slow updates can also be frustrating.

**What problems is Deel Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deel Hire helps solve the challenge of hiring and paying global talent while staying compliant with local labor laws. It reduces legal risk, administrative work, and the need for multiple local providers, allowing the business to focus more on operations instead of HR and payroll complexities.

**What do you like best about Deel Hire?**

I appreciate Deel's efficient process management, which operates so smoothly that I've never needed direct interaction to understand it, even though I initially lacked knowledge about its operations. Their payment tracking system is particularly beneficial, as it provides clear visibility into where delays occur in the payment process. This feature ensures I am informed and can anticipate when transactions are completed, which is quite efficient. Once funds reach my account, the withdrawal process is simple, allowing for easy transfer to my preferred accounts. Moreover, Deel's favorable exchange rate is another standout feature that enhances its value for me, offering financial benefits in converting payments received.

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

I am frustrated by the lack of clarity and guidance in Deel's process, particularly regarding expense settlement. I had no direct interaction with anyone from Deel who could explain the processes to me, which led to confusion and a reimbursement delay of almost a month. Additionally, because of the nature of my contract, I am not fully aware of who is responsible for holding up my payments.

I like that the financial setup in Deel is logical and painless. The timer feature is straightforward and painless as well. As a new user, I appreciate that it creates invoices that if honored saves time. The initial setup was easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

The layout on an iPhone was less than obvious. It seems no one bothered to do human factors testing during development. The app freezes periodically and crashes my phone once a day when in use. The app is very shaky, and both the app and backend code team need a serious upgrade. It seems to have the quality of an Indian body shop, not a top group.

**What problems is Deel Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deel for submitting timesheets and getting paid. If invoices are created and honored, it saves time. The financial setup was logical and painless. The timer is straightforward.

I like Deel's automated deposit feature and the seamless contract and documentation process, as everything is all in one place. The platform is very easy to understand; you know what every button does instantly. I also find it really useful for quickly checking if someone is my colleague, which helps me know how to approach certain people at work.

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

The onboarding process could be improved, and the documents they ask for seem irrelevant to me. They should remove details like the work permit if they're not going to use it in the country where I reside. There was also a glitch during the initial setup.

**What do you like best about Deel Hire?**

I love that Deel allows me to receive my payments directly in cryptocurrency, which is really pleasant and innovative. Additionally, the ability to manage my monthly payments asynchronously is very appreciable, as it makes the payment process smooth and hassle-free. I also appreciate the platform that allows me to see my payments and my contract easily in one place. This greatly simplifies the management of my financial documents and brings me peace of mind every month.

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

I am frustrated by the slowness of the Deel site. Whether on my PC or my phone, the experience is unpleasant, especially when using Firefox. Despite using a PC with high power capacity, the site remains slow, making navigation between pages tortuous.

**What problems is Deel Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Deel to receive my payments, including in cryptocurrency, asynchronously, which is very pleasant and convenient every month.

  ### 6. Efficient Payments but App Needs Improvement

**What do you like best about Deel Hire?**

I appreciate Deel's internal fund transfer feature, which is executed instantly. Being able to move funds from the wallet to the actual card immediately is highly beneficial. I also like the quick processing of payments received from my employer. It usually takes just a matter of hours for a payment to be processed and appear in my wallet, which is a significant advantage over competitors. Additionally, I find using Deel’s virtual card for online purchases quite useful, as it works seamlessly for transactions on platforms like Amazon and AliExpress.

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

I find the process of setting up a card with Deel to be difficult, and although I received help to cancel unnecessary virtual cards, the initial setup was challenging. Additionally, the virtual card is not recognized internationally as expected, which is frustrating considering the currency used in my country is the US dollar, and yet, the card is frequently rejected in many locations. Another significant issue is the app's performance; it's extremely slow, often taking five to ten minutes to open, and during evening hours after 6 PM it doesn’t open at all. Moreover, the app fails to update the balance immediately after transactions, unlike other similar apps. These drawbacks significantly diminish the overall user experience.  THE APP IS A PÁIN....

I use Deel for receiving payments efficiently, with fast internal fund transfers. It solves payment delays effectively but struggles with card acceptance internationally and app speed issues.

I appreciate the ease of setup with Deel; it took me only a few minutes, making the process straightforward. I love the instant transfer feature, which is incredibly fast, moving money to my bank account in seconds. Deel has been very useful and easy to use, even more so than crypto wallets.

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

I dislike how expensive Deel's transaction fees are, especially when moving money from the Deel account to my bank or wherever else it needs to go. Although I find the platform easy to use, the high cost of instant transfers is off-putting. It's not one of the cheapest services available, and while it's convenient, I might not choose to use it voluntarily in the future unless these costs are reduced.

I find the conversion from dollars to euros very helpful, especially because it allows bank transfers to be conducted almost free of charge and without complications. This feature significantly facilitates dealings with American companies by making financial transactions simple and cost-effective.

I find it difficult that the language settings are not easily accessible from the start. In my usage, the language was set to English by default, which made editing legal contracts complex and time-consuming, as this was not my expectation. A forced choice language selection right at the beginning would be more advantageous. Additionally, I sometimes find the platform's navigation confusing, which affects the user experience.

I appreciate Deel's ability to allow payment to contractors in various countries, which facilitates and simplifies the management of international payments for my contracts.

Due to a change in the platform that they made without notifying, an invoice was left unpaid and the collections people were very aggressive in their claim, despite Deel being the one who made the mistake. We have felt mistreated, after being good customers for 3 years, today they have made me feel very bad.

You get money fast and easy to check. Also you can withdraw money before the payday

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

I’m currently using Revolut but I can’t receive payments in euros, even though my contract is in euros. When I asked customer support, they just told me to use other methods such as Wise. However, I have a reason for using Revolut, and the exchange rate isn’t great. It never be good.

Also, I’m not happy that we have to earn paid time off instead of the company being able to choose.

I like very much that Deel Hire takes a holistic approach to so many of hiring's aspects. It is special for bringing so much under one rood!

It is overall a bit text-heavy. Feels like content has applied to buckets, too much text, for this reason less human-centered that one would like.

**What do you like best about Deel Hire?**

I like the fact that you can request a debit card to use it in the national market, and also that I can wait until the dollar rises in my country and then withdraw it to earn even more, that seems great to me.

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

I don't like that Deel doesn't have a way to do holding, or earn profits just by having your money there. There are already many other ways in the market that allow you to generate a return just by having your money waiting or stored on the platform. I think that's great and the value of your money isn't lost. Dear Deel, you still lack that.

For me, being paid in dollars is a great benefit and having a safe place to keep my money without so many obstacles.

This process effectively reduces my salary, which was not communicated upfront.

I find it difficult to understand why my salary cannot be transferred directly to my USD account, especially since I provided my account details during the initial Deel sign-up process. I would appreciate clarification on this matter and a resolution that ensures full transparency and fairness.

I like tha twe can use Deel for multiple things. Contractors, EORs, employees, PTO, compliance etc. For the most part it is fairly straightforward

Ofter the CS doesn't seem to have answers, which leads me to emails back and forth on my case which don't always alnswer the question and something I was looking for the answer to in 20 minutes becomes a 4 day process, or needs to be consulted with by multiple team members who aren't available except for at 3:00am my time.

It allows me to use one platform for multiple things. We are already using so many tools that its a lot to work with new team members on, a lot to keep up with and manage. So it does put everything right in one place.

That I can hire someone in another country, getting the skills my business needs is amazing. The concept is great. Execution leaves a lot to be desired.

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

Onboarding was dreadful - basically sent a quote then told to use the system without any guidance. The system isn't intuitive, how to videos and instructions don't match the platform build. And, it's only simple if you use a country's existing minimum standards. If you want to make changes (ie offer 25 days instead of 20 days of annual leave, you pay an extra month's salary in advance or if you want to increase superannuation from 3% to 6% you're sent to their Legal department to review, who then gets snippy that a contract already exists when you're just following their onboarding process. And, even when super is increased to 6% it isn't correctly calculated on the employee's payslip. 

Chat support is dreadful. It's basically an assistant who forwards the message to another department and then you wait 1 business day +++ for a reply. They also can't manage processing more than one question at a time. Otherwise, you find yourself with both questions unanswered.

I wanted to change one of my consultants into a full time employee without setting up an entity in New Zealand (where they are located). I have my employee onboarded through Deel but the onboarding process, customer support with queries, and just general attention to detail has been poor and time consuming to follow up.

Following the steps to onboarding was very easy. The user interface is clean and easy to navigate. Steps for onboarding are clearly laid out and sequential. Information is clearly provided to me and documents are easily accessible.

Unfortunately it looks like Deel was not as communicative with my employer when setting up the EOR, as such this has delayed, and possibly cancelled, the entire process. Pricing was apparently not communicated transparently.

Well it was helping me work in Canada for a remote company base din the UK, therefore ensuring I could manage my taxes, get income in CAD, and receive a suitable benefits package.

It's super convenient to not need to create an entity in each country and to pay all employees and contractors in one spot. The new HRIS for free also is nice, and makes sense to give away for free for small businesses.

They do also have seemingly the best coverage as compared to some of their competitors, especially in smaller European countries.

**What do you dislike about Deel Hire?**

Update: Deel reached out to discuss and has taken steps to improve some of my concerns (incl. lowering deregister fee, increasing transparency on fees). They've been very attentive and seem to be making legitimate efforts to move in the right direction, minimizing some of my prior concerns. 

Deel is very expensive. At first it seems like pricing is simple - one monthly fee for EOR services but then additional charges add up. $5 per payment, visa sponsorship fees if you want sponsorship, excessive visa renewal fees, and best of all - a $1250 fee to end the visa. 

Deel loves to brag in their fundraising announcement of their 85% margin and it's clear how they get it - with these excess fees.

Hiring employees and contractors in countries where we don't have an entity and don't want to create an entity. It's also convenient to pay once for everyone, regardless of where they are.

Verification is quick and easy, using a mobile device. It's easy to set up, and the onboarding process is straightforward. Document handling is smooth and simple. It's easy to see what payments are due. Supports plenty of payment methods.

That it simplifies the contract signing and pay from my company. Appreciated it since I'm working remotely from another country.

It has high fees for withdrawing my salary to my local bank account. And I'm not sure if it has a feature where it has an option where they let the employers handle the fees so we can get our whole salary.
