What do you like best about Planday?

"Had so much promise but is failing on so many counts"

What do you like best about Planday?

What do you dislike about Planday?

Incapable of organising holiday, the functionality between itself and Xero isn't good enouhg, especially when it is the same business. Way too much time spent trying to fix holiday, trying to work with their team to ensure it is fit for purpose, it simply isn't Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Planday solving and how is that benefiting you?

It was meant to solve holiday tracking and scheduling. It has mostly solved scheduling, albeit if holiday is added through the holiday account function, you then have to add a shift as holiday over the holiday on the shcedule for it to track properly for both payroll costs and submission into Xero. Double work for absolutely no reason.

What do you like best about Planday?

Planday is a very easy system to learn, for staff and payroll capture. also very easy to change over to from a previous system with the support of the Planday team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Planday?

Some things like the summertime clock changing being a manual task for user is not ideal, also not being able to view all holiday accounts set up for staff without having to alter date ranges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Planday:

Planday is a very easy system to change to, and to use for both Administrators setting up schedules and Staff using for Time & Attendance. Also when used correctly it captures costs against budgets. The reports are mostly in pdf or excel making them ideal for filtering on whatever information you wish. The support team are very reactive and helpful with issues, and there is also online training videos to access and a chat with support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Planday solving and how is that benefiting you?

Instead of running a payroll by site (7 in total) I can run my payroll reports for all sites together for the 2 accounts. Excel reports mean easy adjusting for use Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Planday?

I like the fact you can easily communicate time off, sick days, leave days, reduce the management time around the shifts changing, and really useful when you have a 24/7 team working globally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Planday?

What do you dislike about Planday?

We should be able to save groups for mass messages that we send to people. For example I need to send daily or weekly schedules every day, and I need to choose and pick those people I need. It would save some time if I have "my group" with preselected people and send it to that group.

Another thing is approving times for some people. It is not easy to approve days when people are assigned to different departments, and they are under different team leaders. There are little tweaks that need to be done, but all in all program is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
