**What do you like best about HowNow?**

Nice clean UI, easy to create content for complete newbie in LMS management.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

Very few room for customization and integrations. Some features outrageously missing (no customized surveys? no feedback answers?!) It is tricky to handle users if they are a mix of internal and external. Too many limitations (e.g. you cannot write a customized Welcome email, and the current one is unnecessary wordy and pitching Hownow, login details only at the end). As a seasoned LMS manager, I find the LMS needs to improve a lot. Lastly, customer support is fast, but you can tell they are not technically knowledgeable: sometimes I feel I know the LMS best.

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a global LMS, and HR selected this as our best option.

**What do you like best about HowNow?**

The options available. I really enjoy have the HowNow+ catalogue it helps with the curations of content. And the customers service is very responsive

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

I would like to see an update to the pathways. Make it more streamlined. Being able to add badges/certificates to pathwyas would be nice for gamification.

I would also like to see an update to the assessments. To be able to add other question types like mix and match or likert scale type of questions

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is providing an opportunity for our employees to develop and upskill. We have been using the platform to assist with manager development as part of our first pathways.

We plan to use the platform for new hire onboarding to assist us with the 30-60-90 day plans.

**What do you like best about HowNow?**

We've had a fantastic account team who have helped us implement HowNow into the business. Our cusotmer experience manager is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble.  She's able to understand our business issues and provide solutions that help adapt the platform to our needs.  We've just recently launched the platform and the system is easy to use and works great for most of our colleagues.  HowNow works amazingly with Bob and has therefore been easy to implement.  I love how I can assign learning via our internal groups and departments.  They have an awesome team to help with issues and the response time is incredible. Everyone at HowNow is absolutely brilliant and focused on cusotmer satsifaction and improving learning in our organisation.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

Some of the HowNow+ content isnt suitable (i.e. tone/style/ different culture/ inappropriate humour etc) and sometimes there are loading issues but these do generally get resolved quickly and no platfomr is fault free :).

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now providing accessible, relevant developmental content to all of our colleasgues who have only ever had 'mandatory' boring elearning to do. HowNow opens this up to a whole world of learning that really allows the colleague to be in the driving seat of what they want to learn/develop. 
It allows us to keep our learning in one place and meets lots of needs. 
We have channels to section off the differnet needs of the business which is fantastic.

**What do you like best about HowNow?**

The team at HowNow have been amazing to partner with. They've made what was quite a daunting, high profile project land effortlessly.

The platform itself is intuitive, easy to use and offers a number of incredible features that help truly personalise learning for the end user without leaving them feeling overwhelemed. The ability to bring learning to the learner in the flow of work is game changing, and supports the evolution of how we learn now ;-)

The Customer Support team have been incredible to work with, adding huge amounts of value to the project. They really do go above and beyond to ensure you have the support you need to deliver. The team have also dealt with any queries or challenges amazingly, responding to issues in no time at all. Their change runway is really exciting to see and is built all around feedback from the end user making the enhancements to the platform relevant.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

There are some enhancements that could be made around organisation of content and data and reporting but they already have this on their runway. And anything that hasn't been thought of they are happy to review and provide a portal for how customers can make suggestions for improvements.
I'd also like to see more content in a variety of different languages. Identifying this through the content catalogue can be quite tricky.

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small team within a global business so implementing HowNow is helping us scale our learning solutions. It's also enabling learers to access learning at the moments that matter to them.

**What do you like best about HowNow?**

HowNow is a real joy to partner with. Their customer-centricity is outstanding and they are responsive to feedback - their "Canny" feedback site allows you to suggest/upvote product improvements which they interact with regularly and they also provide great transparency on their roadmap.

They regularly innovate and it's exciting to partner with such a modern, agile organisation. The release of their learning pathways is a recent favourite.

HowNow really "get" learning - e.g. they take the learning to where the *learners* are with integrations with the browswer, or Slack etc. - it makes access to upskilling far more seamless. Their nuggets (short, bitesized content) are great, too, as they allow for microlearning. The site is simple to use, so it's really easy for our colleagues to create upskilling on it, even if they're not specialists. The channels are helpful and it's fun, modern and fresh.

Their smart, authentic team constantly impress and they will also go the extra mile to build great relationships and continuously add value, providing high-quality insights into L&D best practice with their podcast, L&D Disrupt, and learning events like HowNow Hacks. 

This modern, responsive LXP is a world apart from our old LMS.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

Unsurprisingly, the team is 'on it' with addressing downsides in their roadmap. The biggest one that they are addressing for us is getting better data analysis capability. They're also finessing channels (which we need to be more organised). I'm sure soon they'll give L&D teams "super admin" rights to be able to edit another's content and hopefully they'll also look into UI a little more (e.g. we do need a better way for learners to distinguish between content types - it would be helpful to be able to visually signpost that something is a podcast versus article versus workshop for instance).

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Frictionless access to varied, modern and exciting learning experiences in a single place. Ease of our many subject matter experts creating and sharing content.

**What do you like best about HowNow?**

Our end users love the interface and ease of use in HowNow, as well as all the tools and reporting options. We have had such a great overall experience since we started using the system. And from an internal/adm,in perspective, the support and guidance we have recieved from Lulu, Alfie and James has been phenomenal. They are alwasy there when we need them, not only supporting us from a technical perspective, but from an L&D strategy perspective as well. They communicate in a timely manner, which is important to us, and they always keep us up to date with new features and functionality. HowNow takes feedback from their customers and actions it. Their roadmap is awesome.  A+ to HowNow in every respoect, thanks!

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

Their are certain features that we needed but did not have, like Pathways, but now the functionality exists. The roadblocks we encounter and minor, so nothing really to dislike about HowNow

How now is helping us solve compliance learning issues and tracking, and it benfits us by passing our yearly compliance audits.

**What do you like best about HowNow?**

HowNow is an incredibly intuitive platform. We implemented around 1 year ago and recently had our first mandatory training administrated through HowNow. We had very few queries from users about access. The customer success team are amazing. They are helpful, quick to respond, flexible and really friendly. They understand what we are trying to achieve as an organisation and work with us to set meaningful goals.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

There are some additional features that would be helpful, but HowNow has their roadmap where customers can see what is in the pipeline and we have direct influence on the things that are most useful.

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing learning together in one place. Helping communication within the organisation. This is benefiting the organisation through shared understanding and building a learning culture.

**What do you like best about HowNow?**

The support from the HowNow team has been amazing, they are super responsive and helpful throughout all of our interactions.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

We have HowNow+, one of the downsides, is the fact that we have to upload the content to our LMS for our employees to have access to, versus the employees just having upfront access to all of the content right away. This is different than how other content platforms have functioned, like Coursera and LinkedIn Learning where employees can just search for content to learn about.

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem was that our employees needed an outlet for learning and development, and HowNow benefits us by providing content that are employees can use to further their skillset and knowledge.

Thanks to the HowNow team for professional and personal support provided. The platform is very userfriendly and a easy to use platform to make own learning content and source content from a range of differnet e-learning providers.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

It would be good to have a support call function as the support chat is not always as convenient as actully talking to someone.

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use HowNow to both build or company training, in addtion to more general e-learning content on wellbeing or report writing. It is easy to enable professional learning experiences for employees, and follow up on reminders og report on completion. Managers and technical team members can get access to set up their own training which is also very useful.

Very user friendly, good spectrum of functionality, continually evolving roadmap with improvements. Customer service is brilliant!

The content authoring is still in its infancy but confident that improvements are on the horiozon!

Having all our L&D content in one place in an easy to use platform for all employees. It has a great course catalogue of e-learning material which means we dont need to use third parties too.

HowNow is user-friendly, especiallly when it comes to the creation of content. My learners also find it easy to complete nuggets or courses within HowNow. The recent learning pathways feature release has been helpful for us. Our CSM and other HowNow team members are dedicated to our success.

I'm looking forward to useful AI features coming to HowNow.

The platform itself is easy for new users to navigate. Our implementation was a amazingly easy. The HowNow+ content is broad, deep and FRESH! And the reporting provides exactly what we need.

Not being able to have a background image on our home page that is responsive to different users' screen configurations. Not being able to have our organization's name prominently displayed on the home page

The HowNow+ content in particular has solved our problem of having stale content. We can now provide our learners with a wide variety of relevant, current resources.

The look and feel is nice withouth being tiring and over the top, the tool is simple enough to use as an admin and the customer service from account managers to customer success to tech support is really great.

The reporting functionality is still quite poor and not really fit for business purpose without many workarounds. Looking forward to what's coming in the pipeline!

I find the user interface attractive and user friendly, many other platform's UI is too cluttered for our audience. The learning philosophy of HowNow aligns with our business goals and the technology is there to help us deliver on them.

I'd like to see assessments on HowNow being developed. Currently, it is too basic for us to be able to use. A simple addition would be to enable feedback on questions.

Its a simple yet effective platform that is continually evolving - we love being part of their journey and how it is adapting to our ever-growing needs within development.

There are still further modules and functionality on the roadmap to come. However, we are lucky to share our feedback and needs with HowNow as they continue to evolve their platform,

HowNow has so many features that just make it easy to customise the true message behind what you want to deliver and taps into all learning styles - it truly is a training dream!

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

It is really challenging to find the content easily and for this reason employees don't use it as much as we would like them. Also the search bar is a bit too case/punctuation specific and sometimes doesnt pull through what one is looking for.

Really great as a follow-up resource to training and for more shy/theorist/analytical learning style participants to use to reflect in their own time. Like a zooty-er version of sharepoint with the ability to more than just 'file upload'

Many of the topics are reasonably short, digestible reads.  I can quickly gain more knowledge about a wide variety of topics relevant to my industry, company and role.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

This may not really be a dislike, but there is so much information available on HowNow that it can be daunting at times to decide what to research or learn about.

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My employer uses the HowNow platform to roll out new company initiatives and relevant learning topics and as an online resource available to all employees.  Having access to these tools in an "on-demand" platform has allowed me to choose when and what learning to access.

**What do you like best about HowNow?**

The ease with which we can create content and distribute it across teams as well as the integrations with OneDrive, Sharepoint and MS Teams.
The HowNow team is also always great at recommending best practices and advice so we can achieve what we need.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

Nothing that I have come across just yet. If anything, it's great that we can share product feature ideas on their forum.

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our knowledge was always scattered and we needed an easy way for people to use what already existed, and this in the flow of work to avoid managers being knowledge bottlenecks.

I love that HowNow provides us with an easy to administer online platform to engage, educate and share resources and internal communications with our workforce.

I can't think of too many things I dislike to be honest! 

I would say that perhaps some small bugs have occured with the platform in the past but these have always been quickly resolved.

Very easy to understand, and the necessary information is repeated.  The Test at the end helps a user to remember important information.

There was nothing that I disliked.  The presentation was excellent.

HowNow is helping to learn about office safety, cyber crime and other office procedures and information needed to work safely and intelligently.

The multiple modes of content that can be created or curated on HowNow as well as the wide range of content integrations. 
The constant improvements in the platform.

Some small pieces of functionality don't make sense but when identified these are swiftly updated by the attentive client support and tech teams from HowNow. Along with this I think there are small elements of user experience that could be improved as with all tech based platforms it is a ever growing and improving process.

There are so many different learning platform providers in the market and I truly think it would be a mistake not to consider a conversation with HowNow prior to making a choice on which platform to implement in your business.

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Blended learning, self-driven and self accessed learning as well as key knowledge sharing from SMEs to wider parts of the business. We are able to begin the process of creating a learner led environemment.

**What do you like best about HowNow?**

The feature of being able to highlight text, bookmark content, but also add external content from different sources, including Youtube. I also like the feautures of the text editor in general and being able to link nuggets with one another, to add tables, external google forms etc. Lots of great functionalities that the platform offers and not to forget the courses as well - we've taken full advantage of that option as well.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

The fact that I don't like is that once you open a nugget, the search bar disappears and you have to click on ''go back home'' in order to go back to the main page and locate the search bar in case you want to search for some other content. Another thing is that in the dashboard, where you can check the recent activity, there are only a few records shown - it would be better if we can see way more results there. Another thing would be the fact that there is no ''bulk'' or ''mass' option for adding a collaborator to a nugget - it should be manually done from the settings of the nuggets one by one (in case of a new team member, for example). For now, this is what comes up to my mind, I'll follow up with more.

The benefits are so many, but mostly the courses, as using the HowNow platform we were able to move some of the mandatory training online, having video lessons, nuggets with procedures, additional assignments to check the understanding of the new employees on the different topics.

I like that the platform recommends useful and relevant courses based on my learning choices and also offers the flexibility to discover new topics and engages the learner by offering learning badges to motivate

Personally, I think the user interface can be made better. It can get a little confusing while on the platform with the numerous topic hashtags/ notifications/ sliders all on the home page. Would like a neater UI.

I believe HowNow can genuinely benefit users with learning from skill-based courses/ general interesting topics effectively. Organizations can utilize the platform to enhance and upskill their employee base and help make them future-ready.

I am currently enrolled in several agile courses and a project management course. I think the courses are easy to follow and help me keep up with the current ways of work and update myself with the best working practices. I try my best to incorporate them into my work and hope that they will benefit me in the long run.

**What do you like best about HowNow?**

The platform has many great features, but for me, the best part is the ability to integrate other platforms such as SharePoint into the solution. This allows our business to continue to use existing documents/content but make them available for everyone in one searchable place. I also really like how the platform reduces email traffic and drives people to the platform rather than filling people's inboxes with information that may or may not be relevant to them.

**What do you dislike about HowNow?**

I don't have a specific dislike as the platform is incredibly well designed. However, if I need to pick one, the assessment options could have more flexibility (although this is a minor point as it does have the basics available).

**What problems is HowNow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue we have is the ability for people to find the correct information at the right time (from a source we trust). The global search, the integrations, and the Google add-on make this a reality for us.

The team has been so helpful and engaging throughout the implementation process, full of great suggestions and ideas. They are always available, much more helpful than when tech and support teams are in different time zones.

It's sometimes difficult to understand what the end user gets to see and access on the site when you have full admin access etc.

Relatively easy to navigate. Very easy to consume and create all learning in various modalities in one place.

Administratively, its not great. Editing classes is full of constraints, and reporting capability is almost non-existent.

Users still aren't taking up the platform to it's full potential (they still dont know what they dont know). But when it is accessed, live class enrolment is more streamlined.

The platform is modern, simple and easy to use. The UI/UX are very intuitive and so the learning curve is easy. The personalisation of the platform according to your interests is very good and helps you in finding what you want to learn next. The integration with libraries is also seamless.

The experience of structured courses is very limiting. The possibilities of assessments is also basic compared to some other LXP's. And it can get very slow at times.

The biggest benefit is in personalisation according to learner's interests and recommendations according to skills. It has really helped learners discover relevant content easily.

The way the site feels and looks, the way we can access channels, create Nuggets and be able to push this out to individuals that would benefit from that content.

When you upload files such as PDF or Word Docs within a Nuggets, I dislike the way that it is uploaded and viewed on a Document viewer. It would be nice if we could up parse a document so that it is on the site rather than within a document viewer.

It is a great way to create and share content for all your needs.

We are solving the way we teach individuals in our business, the way we can knowledge share amongst us, so the knowledge is distributed amongst the whole company.

The accessibility of HowNow is amazing, which has helped us create a continuous learning culture. Not only that we managed to centralize our knowledge, but we also made is available through multiple channels.

Resolving technical issues or implementing new ideas tend to take time, sometimes a lot longer than it should. Nevertheless, I cannot speak highly enough of the customer success team. Shoutout to Flora, who has been there for my team and me since day 1!

We managed to bring our training to another level making it more modern and engaging. In addition to that, knowledge is easily accessible to everybody and at any point.

The customer service is excellent and helped me get started using the platform. 
I enjoy the variety of learning resources available.  For example, yesterday, I signed up for a free Udemy course which I found in the HowNow search engine.

The sidebar of the HowNow extension was getting in the way, but this was fixed by unticking the 'Show HowNow Browser Extension Shortcut' option in the HowNow Browser Extension settings

For now, I've not used the platform to solve any problem, but I am sure it will help me in the future. I feel more productive and inspired since I've started using it.

Limitations where formal assessments are concerned. Certification programs are challenging to set up due to these limitations.
