## Workato Reviews
 ### 1. Effortless Integration with workato Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lokesh k. | Associate Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I think the interface of Workato is the best compared to other integration platforms like MuleSoft. Easy to use, makes it easy to onboard new team members. I love being able to create custom connectors; I used it on an older project to cover specific needs. The support team is also very helpful and responsive and solves real-time issues quickly during production. “Workato is easy to deploy in the web browser and the cloud, and we can configure logging details for users easily."

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Sometimes some connectors are not available on the trigger part. For example, there is no NetSuite REST connector. We just need that one trigger for our needs so we hope an update will come out as soon as possible by the end of the year.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato is helping us solve the issues of the project and the real time errors in production. The support team is very helpful and the interface easy to navigate which makes it adaptable for any new person. A highlight is also the creation of custom connectors.

 ### 2. Robust Integration with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayan S. | Senior Software Developer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I really appreciate Workato's logs/job viewing capabilities, as they make it easy for us to pinpoint issues and inaccuracies, which in turn helps us write better code. I also like the alerting feature, as it allows us to take pre-emptive measures when an error occurs, enabling us to support clients more effectively. The ability to avoid writing custom code and having interactive mapping is a big plus. The advanced log viewing capabilities in the job and task format are incredibly useful, and I find the on-demand authentication mechanisms very handy. Additionally, Workato's advanced mapping capabilities, along with formulas and custom SDKs, are highly beneficial for our team.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I find the CSV parsing tool to be a huge blocker since it only parses 50k records. The Lookup Table has a limit of 100k, which blocks us from integrating with more asset records. I would appreciate support for SQL or another database tool for storing more data and querying it. Sometimes, while writing code in Connector SDK, there are Ruby codes that work in the Ruby compiler but not in the Connector SDK, resulting in function issues. The caching capabilities could be extended in the API too.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato helps us avoid custom client code, offers advanced mapping and log capabilities, and alerts us to job failures, improving our client support. We appreciate its log viewing for pinpointing issues, which enhances our code quality and preemptive measures.

 ### 3. Seamless Integration, Effortless Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I really enjoy using Workato because it is an extremely useful tool for developing and integrating applications from start to finish, making automation processes smooth and straightforward. The user interface is intuitive, and I have not encountered any issues accessing its features. With just a partner account, setting up systems and handling integrations becomes very simple.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I don't see any features not working well, but there are some gaps or enhancements required for Workato's work labs. The current feature is limited to linking with the data tables and needs more integration with the rest space. There's also a limitation to integrate only with one data table at a time for each workflow.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato to develop and integrate applications end to end, making automation seamless. It's easy for those with little integration knowledge to build effective integrations. The setup is simple, allowing easy workflow management with one personal account.

 ### 4. Empowers Automation with Ease and Impressive Time Savings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manvitha K. | Senior business Solutions Partner, Finance Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato is an excellent tool for automating tasks and improving processes. What I find truly impressive is that we no longer have to rely on our ERP vendor for new features or automations; instead, we can handle everything ourselves using Workato. Personally, I have implemented numerous enhancements that have greatly benefited the Finance team, resulting in an estimated annual savings of around 1,000 hours.

Also tool is so ease of use that you donot need to have any technical knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Nothing much but I feel more connectors or actions can be added.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At present, I am running 20 recipes on ERP, which primarily help with updating data within our ERP system. These recipes also integrate with other ERPs, allowing them to pull data from external systems. Additionally, they send notifications or reminders to the relevant people on a recurring basis.
Also it benefits in creating data in bulk in ERP instead of preparing Import template and pushing manually to ERP

 ### 5. Easy Automation with Workato and Excellent Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad O. | Salesforce Business Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

its like difficult for beginner to understand and I think there is also some kind of credits mandatory to buy after use the free one

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solve automation and integration process by its agents and now it saved my time

 ### 6. Streamlined Automation with Robust Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** shiv dayal s. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I like most about Workato is its user-friendly interface and powerful automation capabilities. It makes integrating various applications easy without extensive coding, and its pre-built connectors help me set up workflows quickly. The ability to create complex automations with minimal effort is truly impressive. The prebuilt connectors allow me to quickly integrate popular apps like Salesforce, Slack, or Gmail without writing custom code, which speeds up workflow setup and reduces errors. The user-friendly interface makes designing and modifying automation intuitive, even for non-technical members, which helps us adapt quickly to changing needs. The initial setup was quite straightforward and user-friendly, allowing me to get started quickly without much technical knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Workato's complex workflows can be hard to manage, and troubleshooting tools could be better. Also, more pre-built connectors for niche apps would be helpful. Sometimes errors aren't straightforward.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato for automating workflows between different applications, which solves the problem of manual data transfer and system integration, reducing errors and saving time. Its user-friendly interface and pre-built connectors enable quick integration and efficient automation without extensive coding.

 ### 7. Large Connector Library with Quick, Low-Config Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vitaliy B. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

The connector library is large and for the most part each connector works without needing to do much configuration, I only wanted that so I'm happy about that. Setting up a new connection takes probably about a couple minutes and after that I mostly forget it's there, that is what I want a tool like this to be. No more manually trying to figure out where a problem occurred because the source of the information changed the way it structured itself.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Pricing will catch you off guard, especially as the data volume grows; the cost can go up in unexpected ways that are difficult to anticipate or track and that becomes annoying quick. Some of the niche connectors are still a little underdeveloped, missing options that the main connectors have had for years. Oh and the support staff responds quick but sometimes they close your ticket without fixing the issue, cool thanks.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were pulling data from a dozen or so places - ad platforms, CRM, spreadsheets everywhere in SharePoint - and someone was basically wrangling all of that by hand. Workato has created connectors that run independently and pull all of that into our warehouse. Now the team actually uses data rather than spending half of their time getting data.

 ### 8. Centralized Metrics Make Integration Management Easier, But Room for More

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher S. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I enjoy that Workato provides centralized metrics and logging across various different integrations, allowing me to get a pulse on multiple client offerings in one place. Additionally, the low-code aspect makes it easy for support experts to manage integrations rather than developers needing to maintain them indefinitely.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I dislike the stringent constraints sometimes imposed by Workato development, specifically regarding data types and the availability of certain operations. At times, the platform defeats its own purpose by making a task that would take minutes through traditional coding take much longer. Additionally, initial integration of Workato with our platform was painstaking and required a good length of time working with their technical experts.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to using Workato, my company would develop traditional ASP.Net and Web integrations, which would require Developer intervention to support indefinitely. By offering the low-code solution, Workato has solved this problem, offloading this maintenance work to our Support team rather than eating up Developer time.

 ### 9. Training Made It Easy and Effective to Use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

At first, it was quite complex and I didn’t understand everything. However, after completing the training and getting hands-on practice, it became much easier

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

At the beginning, it can be quite complex and not very intuitive, especially without prior experience. Some features take time to fully understand, and debugging recipes can sometimes be challenging. However, it gets easier with practice and training

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato helps us automate repetitive tasks and connect different systems that don’t naturally communicate with each other. It reduces manual work, minimizes errors, and improves efficiency. As a result, we save time, streamline our processes, and can focus more on higher-value tasks instead of routine operations.

 ### 10. Visual “Recipe” No-Code Automation with 1,000+ Connectors and Enterprise-Grade Governance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

The "Recipe" approach: The visual, no-code logic makes building complex workflows feel like following a simple recipe rather than writing lines of code.

Massive connector library: With over 1,000+ pre-built connectors (like Salesforce, Slack, and Snowflake), you rarely have to build an API integration from scratch.

Workbot for Slack/Teams: It’s incredibly easy to build "ChatOps" that allow users to approve requests or pull data directly from their chat apps.

Low-code, high-power: It strikes a perfect balance where business users can build simple automations, but IT can still use the SDK for advanced customizations.

Governance and Security: Unlike smaller tools, it feels "Enterprise-grade" with robust audit logs, role-based access, and error-handling features.

The Community Library: Being able to "clone" and tweak recipes shared by other users saves hours of development time.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The Learning Curve: While it’s marketed as "no-code," building complex logic or using the Formula Editor often requires a technical mindset (or even Ruby knowledge).

Debugging Challenges: Tracing errors through "nested recipes" (workflows within workflows) can be difficult, and error messages aren't always clear enough to fix issues quickly.

Limited Version Control: It lacks the robust "Git-style" versioning and branching that professional developers expect for large-scale enterprise projects.

Scaling Performance: For extremely high-volume data processing (ETL), the platform can sometimes experience timeouts or performance bottlenecks compared to dedicated data tools.

Maintenance Overhead: Long-term maintenance can become a "spaghetti" of recipes if you don't document your logic heavily from the start.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems Workato Solves
Data Silos: Information trapped in one app (like Salesforce) that isn't visible in another (like Slack or Jira).

Manual "Swivel-Chair" Work: Employees wasting time manually copying and pasting data between systems.

Slow IT Bottlenecks: Business teams waiting weeks for IT to build custom integrations.

Fragmented Processes: Workflows that "break" when moving from one department to another (e.g., HR to IT during onboarding).

How This Benefits You
Increased Productivity: Automating the "busy work" allows the team to focus on high-value strategic projects.

Faster Time-to-Market: We can launch new integrations in days instead of months because of the low-code interface.

Improved Data Accuracy: Automated syncing eliminates human errors like typos or missed updates.

Better Employee Experience: Tools like "Workbot" let employees complete tasks (like approvals) directly in Slack without logging into five different apps.

Scalability: As the company grows, Workato handles the increased volume of data and tasks without needing more headcount.

 ### 11. Simple Recipe Building with Room for Growth

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** karthik v.

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I like the simplicity of building a recipe in Workato. It's almost a low code, no code interface as promised, and that's the best part of it. Also, the initial setup was pretty simple and straightforward, and we got good help from the product team, so it was all good.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

It has a slightly less user base, so the material available out on the Internet is a bit less. I usually have to reach out to docs.workato or the support to understand more about their features.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a one-stop solution for connecting to various end systems and B2B applications.

 ### 12. Efficient Integration with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Flavio Lucas F. | Senior Software Developer

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I use Workato to develop integrations for customers, and what I like most is its simplicity and support. The platform is pretty simple, easy to use, and has the features we need. The support team is pretty responsive when we need help. Setting up Workato was very easy, and they provided excellent support during onboarding. Also, building the connectors with Workato is straightforward, and building recipes is even easier because it's basically no-code or low-code sometimes.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

They could provide more out-of-the-box connectors so we don't need to build too many. Another thing that would be helpful is if they provided the code for their out-of-the-box connectors, this way we could copy and build our own on top of that, with the features we need, but they don't contain. Another thing to be improved is their pace of delivering enhancements. We submit lots of enhancement requests, but it seems we will never see those improvements.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato to integrate our system with third parties for our customers, speeding up development. It simplifies integration with easy, no-code or low-code recipes, and the responsive support enhances the experience.

 ### 13. User-Friendly, Stable, and Worth Every Penny—with Fantastic Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

It is very user-friendly even for those without technical background, it does its job with integrating systems and also enabling you to develop out of the box solutions, where needed. It's stable in operating, the support team is fantastic, onboarding is smooth, community is really warm! I think it's totally worth the money and the AI features seems super cool.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Honestly, I love it all - the downside thing is that there are so many opportunities and I don't have to try it all out!

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with making the platforms that we use (finance, crm) and our in-house built in tools talking to each other. The developer time was unavailable and Workato solved it for us!

 ### 14. Effortless System Integration and Automated Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chinmay V. | Manager, Business Systems, Financial Reporting Systems, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

does a good job connecting systems that usually don’t play well together. Once you set up a recipe, it runs in the background without much babysitting, which is great if you’re trying to clean up processes that used to depend on manual steps.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The biggest drawback is that it can feel heavy once you move past simple recipes. Complex flows get hard to read, and debugging isn’t as smooth as it should be. When something fails, the logs help, but tracking down the exact cause can take more digging than you’d expect.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It cuts down the amount of manual work needed to keep different systems in sync. Instead of people exporting spreadsheets, copying data, or nudging a process along by hand, the automations take care of it in the background.

 ### 15. Versatile Integration Platform with Powerful Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George K. | VP of IT & Business Systems

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I really enjoy Workato's powerful capabilities and its impressive platform, which lets you build pretty much everything you want. With recent updates, especially the introduction of Genie AI and MCP servers, it feels like Workato has reached the next level. It's particularly powerful for automation, enhancing IT, HR, security, and engineering without any issues in the automations we've built and maintained. What I like the most about Workato is that it feels very much like coding. Building recipes in Workato is similar to writing code, which suits my twenty years of engineering background. The ability to structure code with functions, callable recipes, and the integration of external APIs makes me feel like a real programmer. It's an amazing tool for automating company processes and saving costs while optimizing workflows.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

In my opinion, their workflow applications is the worst product they released. I use pretty much all the products of Workato, and the workflow application was the fail. Literally, they tried to automate workflows, you know, providing the UI for these workflows via the web application. However, the idea was great, but it was not implemented by Workato to the production ready level. And that one of the features that I really don't use and actually never used.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato automates our entire IT stack, including user onboarding and lifecycle management. It streamlines marketing with lead management, enriches and integrates data, and supports engineering tasks. It really empowers different departments, making us much more effective and efficient.

 ### 16. Powerful Integration Platform with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben H. | Director of Architecture, Digital Products

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I like the simplicity of use in Workato, even though I'm a software architect working with a team of engineers. It's very powerful once the connections are made, as it provides an integrated platform that can accomplish multistep tasks. We use data tables, connectors, custom connectors, connections, and recipes, which give our team granular control over the systems we use daily. By having these components behind a single clean UI, we can accomplish repetitive tasks with enterprise business information at scale.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I think Workato markets itself as a no code platform, but some of the most valuable functionality isn't really unlocked unless you have an understanding of the code. Right now, the way we're using it at Caesars Entertainment is heavy on custom code. The initial setup was very complicated because of the complex use case we were building from scratch.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato is an orchestration layer between our CMS, PIM, and DAM, simplifying multistep tasks. Its integrated, user-friendly platform enables us to control systems and handle repetitive tasks efficiently, even at scale.

 ### 17. Easy to use automation for integrating emails and cloud services

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jitender G. | Software Development Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

What I like best about Workato is its automation capability and how easily it can be configured with tools like Outlook, AWS SQS, and other systems. It simplifies integrations and reduces a lot of manual effort.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

What I dislike about Workato is the limited visibility into logs when an error occurs. There should be an easier way to view detailed error logs directly within Workato, instead of having to contact the Workato support team to understand what went wrong.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato solves the problem of integrating different systems without heavy custom code. It helps by connecting our Outlook email distribution lists and automatically sending the extracted data to AWS for further processing, which saves time, reduces manual work, and improves reliability.

 ### 18. Automation Simplified with Intuitive Low-Code Builder

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shiv D. | Consulatant, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I love Workato's 'low code' recipe builder that makes it intuitive and fast to create complex automations. It allows me to design sophisticated workflows visually, saving hours of manual programming. The massive library of pre-built connectors ensures I can link almost any app without writing code. The interface made getting started very fast, especially with the user-friendly 'Quick start' guides, and basic integrations became functional almost immediately.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I find the high pricing and steep learning curve for complex logic can be barriers for smaller teams.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato to automate workflows, connecting apps like Slack and Salesforce. It streamlines data syncing and eliminates manual tasks. The low-code recipe builder saves hours of manual programming, and the pre-built connectors allow linking almost any app without coding.

 ### 19. Effortless Integration with Incredible Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vaibhav V.

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I really think the UX is amazing and clear, which makes Workato very user-friendly. It's a beginner-friendly tool that's easy to use, and the features like the AI Hub, API Platform, MCPs, and Copilot help me a lot. The setup is super easy because it's SaaS. Onboarding a new customer takes less than a minute, making the setup process really quick and easy.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The retention period can be improved and a better reporting tool is required.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato for integrating through multiple applications, which helps with integration, data migration, and API management.

 ### 20. Powerful Automation Platform That Connects Everything Seamlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** andré P. | WEB DEVELOPER, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

What I like most about Workato is how simple it makes complex automation. You can connect dozens of apps and data sources without writing heavy code, and the drag-and-drop interface is intuitive enough for non-developers while still offering depth for technical users. The library of pre-built recipes saves a lot of time, and the integration capabilities are top-notch — it connects smoothly with CRMs, ERPs, cloud tools, and internal systems. Their customer support team is responsive and proactive, which really helps when testing or scaling automations. I use Workato daily to streamline repetitive workflows, and it’s now a core part of our operations.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The platform is very capable, but managing complex multi-step automations can feel overwhelming at first. Some of the advanced error-handling and condition logic requires a bit of trial and error to master. It’s also worth noting that performance can dip slightly when dealing with very large data volumes, though this is rare.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato helps us eliminate manual, repetitive tasks and keeps our systems perfectly synchronized. Before, we had to move data manually between CRMs, spreadsheets, and analytics tools — now everything happens automatically. It has saved hours of work every week, reduced errors, and improved communication between teams. Thanks to its real-time data sync and workflow automation, decisions are made faster and with more accuracy.

 ### 21. Effortless Automation and Seamless Integrations with Workato

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kai Y. | Staff Systems Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

What I like best about Workato is its ability to automate complex processes with minimal coding. Its integration recipes feel like writing code but with far less effort. Workato connects systems seamlessly, offers a rich library of prebuilt recipes, and makes ongoing maintenance easy.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

What I dislike about Workato is that the cost scales based on the number of tasks, which can become expensive for high-volume automations. Additionally, exporting job log data to CSV is limited to 1000 rows, which can be restrictive for larger datasets.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato is helping us streamline and automate processes between SFDC, our billing system, NetSuite, and our in-house applications. By integrating these key systems, it reduces manual data entry, keeps information consistent across platforms, and improves efficiency while reducing errors.

 ### 22. Outstanding AI Support, Helpful Documentation, Cool Human Behind All Of It!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ken N. | FXD ITSM Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Their AI help bot is one of the best I have used so far; they don't just ingest the knowledge base and call it a day, but it could actually troubleshoot your problem and guide you to where you want to be. If that does not work, there are always human customer support too; they are awesome. Easy, not super easy to use, but everything has been documented, just follow the document and you will be fine

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The only downside is it is still a growing product, so sometimes there is a feature that you want that is not available right away.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

integration, a centralized hub for different systems

 ### 23. A Powerful iPaaS Platform for Scalable and Secure Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lokesh K. | A, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2022

 ### 24. Seamless Integration, Intuitive UI, Minor Debugging Hurdles

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** andrew@semble.io B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I use Workato Embedded as a part of our software platform for end users. I like the UI because it's very clean and efficient. It operates similarly to other low-code tools I've used, but it's better thought out and very good for enterprise use. I find Workato's logging to be particularly strong, as it allows me to show custom information on the job log, which is very useful for debugging quickly. I also appreciate that you can do a lot via the API, including building recipes, which isn't possible with some other tools.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I find it tricky to debug looped items in the job report as the job only shows the last object of an array. This is not helpful if there has been an issue with an object within the array that is not the last. In other tools such as PowerAutomate, you can inspect every loop of an array which allows you to find the information easily.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato allows us to offer connectivity between our software platform and others, enabling end users to push data back and forth seamlessly.

 ### 25. Workato, a secure and efficient platform for automating your virtual processes and workflows.

I can also say that Workato integrates efficiently with your work systems and applications, making it easy to control and view your projects and professional activities.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I have no negative comments about the performance of Workato's digital resources, I am satisfied with all of its professional features and tools.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato has allowed me to improve the control of my data and digital work processes, I am now a much more skilled and efficient employee thanks to the use of all of its business automation resources, improving my productivity and professional results.

 ### 26. Powerful iPaaS with Strong Automation Capabilities

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

What I like best about Workato is its low-code, recipe-based approach, which significantly reduces the time and effort required to build and maintain integrations. The platform strikes a good balance between ease of use and flexibility, allowing both functional consultants and technical teams to collaborate effectively. The wide range of prebuilt connectors, strong error handling, and clear job monitoring make it well-suited for enterprise environments like HCM and ATS ecosystems.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

While Workato is powerful, debugging complex recipes can sometimes be challenging, especially when dealing with large payloads or multi-step logic. Additionally, certain advanced use cases still require a deeper technical understanding, which can reduce the “no-code” promise for less experienced users. Improved visibility into data transformations and clearer error messages would further enhance the experience.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato solves the problem of connecting multiple systems reliably without heavy custom development. In an integration-heavy environment, it helps standardize data flows, automate repetitive processes, and reduce dependency on custom scripts or point-to-point integrations. This benefits us by speeding up implementations, improving data consistency across platforms, and reducing long-term maintenance effort, allowing teams to focus more on delivering business value rather than managing integrations.

 ### 27. Effective Automation with Some Integration Hurdles

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ohad B.

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I use Workato as our primary Enterprise Automation Platform, and I really appreciate how it bridges gaps between our core tech stack like Salesforce. I like that it automates manual data entry tasks and syncs customer information across departments in real-time, acting as 'the glue' for our teams to have consistent data without manual updates. I especially enjoy the perfect balance Workato offers between low-code speed and enterprise-grade control, along with robust ALM and sophisticated error handling typically requiring heavy coding. The extensibility is remarkable, and if a native connector doesn't exist, the SDK allows me to build custom adapters quickly while maintaining centralized governance. This extensibility also helps bridge the gap between our legacy on-prem systems and modern SaaS apps, letting us build custom connectors to create a solid layer safe for our business teams.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The On-Prem Agent setup is not natively optimized for Kubernetes. The one-hour activation code window makes automated deployments difficult. I'd like to see a shift toward long-lived API keys. The platform lacks a native impact analysis tool to visualize dependencies across the workspace. When updating a shared recipe, it's difficult to identify all upstream dependencies which increases the risk of silent regressions.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato to automate data entry, sync customer data, and handle onboarding. It solves data silos by centralizing our tech stack and bridges IT-business gaps.

 ### 28. Powerful and flexible iPaaS for enterprise integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato is very strong when it comes to building and managing integrations at scale. The recipe-based approach makes complex workflows easier to design, understand, and maintain. It has a wide range of prebuilt connectors that cover most common SaaS tools, which speeds up development a lot. Once set up, automations are reliable and flexible, and it’s easy to add logic, error handling, and monitoring without heavy custom code.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The learning curve can be steep for new users, especially when working on more advanced use cases. Debugging complex recipes sometimes takes longer than expected, and clearer error messages would help. Pricing can also become a concern as usage grows, particularly for teams running high volumes of jobs or complex workflows.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato helps us automate data flows and business processes across multiple systems without relying heavily on custom development. It reduces manual work, improves data consistency, and speeds up integration delivery. This allows teams to focus more on business logic and less on maintaining point-to-point integrations, which has improved overall efficiency and reliability.

 ### 29. Empowers Integration with Ease and Precision

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott R.

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I love how Workato provides integration tooling, the out-of-the-box connectors, and the tracking and monitoring needed for creating integrations between systems. I really appreciate the ability to trace a job through recipes and see what decisions were made, as it greatly helps in debugging and diagnosing issues. The visual layout of recipes is nice too, allowing me to 'read' the code without having to read the code text itself. As someone with no experience in the product at the time, it made it easy to grasp what the vendor had implemented and make changes and enhancements. I think the user interface, in general, is pretty good.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I get a little frustrated with the code editor. The window for it is always presented as small and you need to expand it. Returning to the code frequently it becomes an annoyance.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato provides the integration tooling, out-of-the-box connectors, and tracking and monitoring I require for creating integrations between systems, making it easier to see what decisions were made during processing and simplifying issue diagnosis.

 ### 30. Helps automate tasks that would steal a lot of time throughout the year.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro B. | HRIS Assistant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

It's very easy to use, even if you're not a programmer. The UI is simple and lets you implement a lot ot things you didn't know you could do for automation in your business. I use it everyday just to make sure every automated task is being done successfully.

Customer support has also been very useful; we have one meeting every month with supporters to help us with our recipes.

Integrations are very easy to manage; almost every time we just need to link it with just a click. In case it's a non vinculated app to workato, we can always use an API.

Implementing workato in our company has been really interesting, and we've learned a lot from it.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Price is a little high, but I think for all the time it helps us reduce on our tasks, it's worth it if your company can allow it.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do a lot of repetitive tasks, for example with the Google environment. We use a lot of Google Sheets documents, and some of our employees did tasks that we always thought should be automated. That's when we heard about automation softwares, and we found Workato. Initially, we started using it for API links with our HRIS (BambooHR) and other pages/softwares. Then, we started automating data tasks.

 ### 31. Streamlined Automation with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** CHONG F.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I use Workato primarily for integrating enterprise systems and automating end-to-end business processes across multiple departments. I like how it eliminates manual data entry and repetitive tasks by automating workflows across multiple systems. The wide range of pre-built connectors is one of the most valuable aspects because they significantly reduce the integration time, effort, and technical complexity required to build integrations. Connecting key systems using these connectors was straightforward, and most standard workflows could be set up quickly.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The cost and pricing structure can be challenging, especially for smaller teams or use cases with high transaction volumes.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato to integrate enterprise systems and automate workflows, eliminating manual data entry and repetitive tasks. The pre-built connectors significantly reduce integration time, effort, and complexity.

 ### 32. Fast, flexible iPaaS for real business workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gatsby W. | Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

The customer support team is exceptional. It’s easy to reach a real person, they understand real-world use cases, and they give concrete fixes and not boilerplate. When I’m stuck, I get quick, knowledgeable help that gets the job moving again.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The Academy and official resources don’t mirror real project complexity. Most examples are simplified and skip topics like large-file batching, multi-stage exception handling, lookup-table strategies, or nuanced HTTP/auth patterns. It’s fine for basics, but when building production pipelines, you quickly outgrow the examples and have to rely on support or trial-and-error.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We automated a manual AP ingest process. Workato picks up CSVs from SFTP/SharePoint, parses and cleans the data, validates against lookup tables, routes exceptions for review, and then creates Bills in Acumatica. This cut spreadsheet work, reduced data entry errors, added an audit trail, and shortened invoice cycle time without adding headcount.

 ### 33. Workato: an advanced and professional service to automate your work processes.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato is an excellent digital service that allows for the automation and technical management of all your organization's digital processes, improving your business commercial results.

I can also say that Workato is ideal for modernizing your digital work systems and structures, allowing you to manage your work plans and projects in a professional and advanced way.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I have nothing bad to say about Workato's digital features and resources, I think it is an excellent business service.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My experience using Workato's digital features and resources has been positive and professional, I can now improve the quality of all my digital processes and operations, automating repetitive tasks and improving my business productivity rates.

 ### 34. Best UI for a "Low code - No code" integration tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

What I like best about Workato is its powerful automation capabilities combined with an intuitive, low-code, no-code interface. It allows both technical and non-technical users to integrate apps and automate workflows quickly. The vast library of pre-built connectors and community recipes speeds up implementation. I also appreciate its scalability and enterprise-grade features like error handling and version control. Overall, it boosts productivity and reduces manual work significantly.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

For Workato Embedded infrastructure it is hard to roll out updates on certain integrations for all Client Profiles at once.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an embedded customer, Workato helps us seamlessly integrate automation into our own product, delivering more value to our end users. It solves the challenge of building and maintaining custom integrations by providing a flexible, scalable platform we can embed directly. This reduces development time and allows us to focus on core product features. It also enhances our offering with powerful automation capabilities out of the box. Ultimately, it improves customer satisfaction and speeds up our go-to-market.

 ### 35. Intuitive Visual Interface That Makes Troubleshooting Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Artemio G. | Customer Support Team Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Its visual interface, how everything is (at some degree) intuitive and easy to use.

From a Technical Customer Support Agent perspective, is easy to spot when something is not working as expected, as in invalid data coming from our clients, and this helps the troubleshooting of cases.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

In specific case as the amount of data is too big, it is not easy to fin everything that we need in the same job that ran, so we need to continue the troubleshooting somewhere else.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The integration of customer data into our own SaaS.

 ### 36. Effortless Integration with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eddy N. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I find Workato easy to use and its documentation well-organized, providing a lot of insights. Working with the Workato team, including the customer success manager and the technical account manager, is a true pleasure, as they feel like part of our team. It's very convenient to reach out to them directly via Slack, and we get most answers very quickly. The onboarding process made the initial setup a breeze, thanks to the investment and handholding from the Workato team. I appreciate that it's constantly evolving and innovating, with new developments always underway. The system's ease of use and the availability of a wide range of integrations as connectors are also significant benefits. Overall, the collaboration and support from the Workato team have a huge impact, making it a 10 out of 10 experience for me.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Sometimes we had to reach out to the support team, and they were not as professional as the customer success manager and the technical account manager. The answers were quite vague and maybe not completely accurate, so relying on the support team is nice but it's not like relying on our customer success manager and technical account manager. That aspect can definitely be improved.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato to seamlessly integrate different systems for our customers, making data flow programmatically without manual work. It reduces integration time by providing more than 1,000 integrations at once, which were unavailable before.

 ### 37. Simplifies Bill Processing with Easy ERP Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mat A.

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I like that Workato is easy to understand. When I started using Workato around three months ago, I had no idea about it before, but it was very easy to onboard myself onto the platform and get the learning started. I was able to get my deliverables in as soon as possible. Workato is definitely user-friendly. I also appreciate the tools like connector SDK, recipe lifecycle management, connections, and recipes that I use daily. Each of them has significant value, and they are necessary for our business use case. They make it really efficient and easy for our APIs to work with the ERP systems. Also, setting up Workato was quite easy, thanks to the documentation available online and the support from the Workato team through emails and calls.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I have been noticing that the connection keeps dropping with the connector SDK that we have built as our custom software. It would be great if Workato could look into why the connection drops even when the OAuth configurations, credentials, everything is in place.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato to integrate our billing processes with ERP systems like Zoho Books and QuickBooks Online. It handles bill information creation, updates, and scrapes data efficiently with APIs, streamlining vendor payments and keeping our records up to date.

 ### 38. Automates Operations, Empowers Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Minhazur R.

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I use Workato to create recipes for automation in my Operations department. I really appreciate how it auto-creates and auto-triages tickets, streamlining the process for my team. What I like most about Workato is its ability to send marketing emails automatically from a spreadsheet. This flexibility allows us to modify the client list directly on an active sheet without needing to re-upload it with every update. During a remediation project, Workato enabled automation of emails to 32,000 clients with weekly automated follow-ups, checking for responses and automatically closing the loop or sending the next follow-up. The initial setup of Workato was smooth and not difficult at all once we got the necessary permissions from IT.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I don't like that Workato has a capacity on how many emails can be sent to clients. That cap adds more restriction. Not having any capacities on email sends via Workato would allow our teams to use it more extensively.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato auto-creates and triages tickets, automates sending emails from spreadsheets, and manages follow-ups. It adds flexibility in client list updates without re-uploading and automates client communication, reducing manual interventions.

 ### 39. Robust Integrations and Flexibility, But Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neha J. | UX/UI Designer, Design, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Strong integration library and connectors. Works with many popular apps. Low code/no code approach. Offers governance, security, hybrid options, which matter for larger organisations. Beyond simple “if this then that”, it can embed AI, handle data orchestration, decision logic, etc.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

It’s expensive for smaller teams or heavy usage; pricing isn’t always transparent. Though low code, some advanced workflows or integrations still require technical expertise. There are few occasional performance or scaling issues, especially in complex data loads.Because we build on their “recipes” and connectors, moving off or switching platforms may be harder.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us connect different apps, systems and data & automate workflows between them, so no need to manually move data, write glue code, or rely on lots of one off scripts.

 ### 40. Our team finally can experience better flow across routine tasks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samuel F. | Email marketing specialist, Sporting Goods, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

The thing I like the most about Workato is its stability after I have the set ups. I use it during the week since the variety of features enables me to automate every type of habitual back and forth activity that previously attracted my attention. I also enjoy that it does not require me to baby sit it. It has made an observable impact on my day since I can now remain focused as opposed to switching between minor repetitive tasks.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The most troublesome problem I have experienced with Workato is that some jobs require more maintenance than I would have assumed. In systems more or less often I find myself also needing to dedicate more time to changing aspects of the automation when they change. It is like dragging me down even on days when I feel like I have a lot to carry along with. Although customer support is appreciated when required, the disruptions nonetheless interrupt my working process and make other activities move.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato has removed much of the day to day noise on my and the staff. Tasks that previously distracted our attention do so in the background, and it is making our days run more smoothly. It has helped a lot in ensuring that things are organized since there are less small steps that are falling through the cracks. The load is taken off, and we will be able to devote our time to the aspects of the work that contribute to the actual development of projects.

 ### 41. Handles Heavy Workflow with Ease, Minor Delays in Processing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanjay G. | Sr. Software Developer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I like Workato's load handling capability because we can queue a lot of tasks, and they will be executed successfully. At peak times, I have to manage parallel calls, around 1000-3000 per minute, and Workato’s workflow helps manage this effectively. Also, the configuration is pretty easy, and the console is user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

They queue the webhooks, so the last call to be executed has a delay. If parallel processing can be improved, this delay could be reduced.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato for workflow automation to handle webhook calls efficiently, even at peak times with 1000-3000 calls per minute. It queues tasks effectively, though parallel processing could be improved to reduce delays.

 ### 42. Comprehensive Automation with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avi V.

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I like how you can customize the job report in Workato. I also enjoy the comprehensive range of functions allowing for different outcomes. There are many features to do things differently, like lookup tables or data tables, which makes the experience rich and versatile.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

1. I think there should be a way to group different steps together visually in the editor without affecting the code. 2. It's frustrating to rerun the whole workflow when I just want to test a change in a specific step. 3. I also wish I could comment on multiple steps at once instead of individually. 4. Additionally, it would be great if the workflow apps were more flexible, for example being able to edit or delete the main page.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I automate workflows for the company i work for with Workato, building flows and integrating platforms and actions together.

 ### 43. Effortless Integrations and Automation with User-Friendly Workflow Builder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damidu R. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato makes complex integrations simple with a very user-friendly workflow builder. I really like how fast we can connect different systems and automate processes without heavy coding. The documentation and community resources are also very helpful for learning and troubleshooting.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Some features require deeper experience to configure, especially advanced API and authentication setups. The error messages could sometimes provide clearer guidance. But overall, the platform continues to improve.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato helps integrate Sitecore XM Cloud and other enterprise systems efficiently. It reduces manual work, improves data flow, and speeds up automation development. Instead of spending days writing code for APIs, we can build and deploy workflows much faster, which helps our team deliver features quickly and reliably.

 ### 44. Effortless Automation and Integration with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eemi K. | Project Manger, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato makes automating and integrating processes both easy and enjoyable. The overall structure and user experience are thoughtfully designed. I also appreciate the excellent documentation and the resources available through Workato Academy. The support team is outstanding. Really low barrier to start implementing and exploring. Connector portfolio is great.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

At times, I find it difficult to grasp the new pricing for the "extra moduls" and how to actually add them.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is the agile automation piece between all our systems and our number 1 automation tool. It solves many problems with datastructures but most importantly gives us the great possibilities for development in the future.

 ### 45. Efficient Integrations with Room for Simpler Data Handling

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dixy B.

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I appreciate Workato for its robust capability to integrate with a variety of third-party applications, which significantly enhances my workflow. The feature I particularly admire is the ease with which I can set up daily triggers. This functionality is crucial to my daily tasks, allowing me to automate processes efficiently, such as triggering an API call to fetch data and subsequently transferring it to a database. This automation saves me time and effort, enhancing my productivity and ensuring my tasks run smoothly. Additionally, based on my experiences, I find Workato to be user-friendly for new team members who weren't involved in the initial setup, allowing them to adapt quickly and contribute effectively.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I find it challenging to create data pills in Workato. Sometimes, when dealing with JSON responses formatted in an array, it can be difficult to intuitively create the necessary list data pill.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato for seamless integrations, automating daily tasks like triggering API calls and updating databases, which significantly enhances efficiency.

 ### 46. Versatile Automation with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan J.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I love Workato's versatility in handling all types of data and appreciate the high number of connectors it offers. The ability to build custom connectors further enhances its adaptability for our needs. The real-time support is immensely valuable, both AI and human, as it provides essential assistance during our solution-building processes. Moreover, Workato's team demonstrates a great culture and a genuine passion for their product, which positively influences their interactions and assistance with customers. The company's proactive engagement during our setup phase, through regular meetings, ensured we remained aligned and successful in our implementation journey.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I find some of the AI assistance in the recipe builds, particularly around the formula syntax, could be improved for those of us without extensive experience in Ruby or Python.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato to automate sales and customer onboarding processes, manage legal documentation, and enhance KYC verifications. It integrates various software platforms seamlessly and processes customer integrations efficiently. The platform’s versatility with data and customizable connectors greatly benefit our operations.

 ### 47. Extensive Connectors and Rapid Integration Makes Workato Stand Out!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris K. | President, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

One of the most helpful items that Workato provides us is the vast library of connectors, and the speed at which we can implement new integrations.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The platform is very well documented, but some small areas like Workflow apps leave much to be desired in this respect and require support to assist you when you are "stuck".

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Workato we were able to take a legacy abandoned eCommerce integration program, and refactor it into a modern API driven platform with room for a vast amount of extensibility in the future. Plus, it has improved the site response time by half.

 ### 48. Integrate & Automate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

 ### 49. Useful Automation with Frustrating Limitations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomer B. | Senior Technical Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I really appreciate Workato's ability to run short, uncomplicated Python scripts (without the ability to download packages). This feature significantly simplifies workflow compared to relying solely on commonly used functions, making my tasks much easier. The capacity to manipulate data frames directly and efficiently eliminates the need to spend extra time on data aggregation or filtering, streamlining my operations and enhancing productivity.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I find that iteration doesn't work smoothly in Workato, which can disrupt the flow of automations. The full output being clipped is another frustrating limitation, as it prevents me from accessing all the data I need for comprehensive analysis. Additionally, I encounter many bugs frequently, which adds to the frustration. The way folder names are related to roles feels restrictive and not intuitive. Overall, my experience working with Workato is less favorable compared to Make.com, which I previously used. The initial setup was also challenging; single sign-on (SSO) didn't function initially, leading to numerous try-outs and migration issues. also, their internal debugger doesn't work all the time.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato for automations and integrations, simplifying app combinations and data manipulation without manual data aggregation or filtering.

 ### 50. Exceptionally User-Friendly and Intuitive for Beginners

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristina S. | Privacy Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

What I value most is how user-friendly the visuals and menus are, making it easy to navigate even for someone completely new to automation.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

At the moment, I don't have as many chances to use it in my current role as I would like, but I am actively seeking more opportunities to explore it further during my training and to discover new ways to make the most of the tools that Workato provides.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool enables the orchestration of processes for handling different data subject requests, helping organizations maintain compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
