## Workato Reviews
 ### 1. Streamlined Workflow Creation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey E.

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I like the user interface of Workato. The connection recipe builder offers a very coherent way to think through the problem, allowing me to connect the dots from start to finish in a way that just makes sense for my brain. Additionally, the initial setup of Workato was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I find complexity around ensuring that the data collected in one step is provided in a valid pill format in the next step. Sometimes the data requires a little bit of transformation to get that right.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato lets Rocketlane extend its backend, providing more functionality than out of the box.

It can be difficult sometimes, due to its complex logic and it requires a "developer mindset

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to automate repetitive task. Most automation tools run silently in the background but with Workato it brings them into Slack or Microsoft Teams via Workbot, such as approval in Salesforce. It also helps to avoid access issue like other tools whereby providing teams access to create their respective applications "providing a safegroud and while reducing access related security bridge

I find Workato very easy to use, which is great for ease of use. It's also very good at implementing very complex tasks.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

There are some UI adjustments that could be done, like being able to copy JSON from certain screens. But, that's just nitpicking.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I rely on Workato to rapidly create automations for our customers, which helps us save significant time and reduces manual work. The platform is user-friendly and makes it much faster to implement even complex tasks.

We would love if there were more native connectors to many up and coming software products. Luckily, Workato provides solutions to still be able to utilize them in workflows.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato is solving a major problem for us where many of our integrations were siloed. We use Salesforce as our central product so being able to plug in play with a variety of products has been a huge value add.

 ### 5. Workato Enterprise iPaaS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruben V. | Head of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2024

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I absolutely love how Workato has transformed the way our team handles integrations and automations. One of the best features is its user-friendly interface, which allows even those with limited technical expertise to create complex workflows effortlessly. The drag-and-drop functionality, combined with a vast library of pre-built connectors, has significantly reduced the time we spend on manual tasks.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

While Workato is a powerful tool, there are times when the platform can be a bit sluggish, especially when handling very large data sets or complex workflows. Additionally, the pricing can be a bit steep for smaller teams or startups, which might be a barrier for some organizations to fully leverage its capabilities.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato has been a game-changer in terms of streamlining our business processes. Before using Workato, our team struggled with fragmented systems and manual data entry, which often led to errors and inefficiencies. Now, we've automated everything from our marketing campaigns to our customer support workflows, ensuring that data flows seamlessly between our CRM, email marketing tools, and support platforms. This has not only saved us countless hours but has also improved our overall productivity and customer satisfaction.

 ### 6. Review of Workato - Powerful business integration platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria H. | UI/UX Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato is a robust iPaaS solution that allows you to automate workflows between applications without the need for coding, making it ideal for both business and IT teams thanks to its visual recipe interface and built-in governance. It is highly useful for companies that need to orchestrate processes such as onboarding, marketing, finance, or helpdesk with ready-to-use connectors.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Although it is presented as low-code/no-code, many more advanced integrations require technical knowledge to be configured properly.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato is helping us streamline and automate processes that previously required a lot of manual work and coordination between different teams and tools. By integrating multiple applications into a single workflow, we’ve reduced repetitive tasks, minimized human errors, and improved data accuracy. This has not only saved us time but also allowed our teams to focus on more strategic and high-value activities, ultimately increasing overall efficiency and productivity.

 ### 7. Powerful automation for GTM systems

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato makes it possible to connect almost any system and automate complex, multi-step workflows without heavy engineering resources. It’s extremely flexible, with prebuilt connectors and the ability to customize recipes to handle advanced logic. For marketing operations in particular, it saves hundreds of hours by automating repetitive tasks, reducing manual errors, and ensuring data flows smoothly across Salesforce, Marketo, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The platform has a learning curve, especially when working with more advanced recipes and APIs—it’s not always plug-and-play. Error messages can sometimes be vague, requiring trial and error to troubleshoot. Costs can scale quickly if you’re running high-volume processes, so you need strong governance and monitoring to avoid overages. Finally, managing recipe maintenance across environments (dev, UAT, production) can take careful planning to ensure long-term sustainability.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato helps us eliminate manual, repetitive tasks by automating workflows across Salesforce, Marketo, LinkedIn, Snowflake, and other platforms. It ensures data consistency across systems, accelerates campaign execution, and reduces human error. This saves our team significant time, improves reporting accuracy, and allows us to focus on strategic initiatives instead of admin work. The ability to orchestrate complex, multi-step processes has also unlocked new use cases that wouldn’t have been possible without custom development.

 ### 8. The Automation Engine I Needed to Connect My Apps Reliably and Intelligently

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I love Workato's ability to handle both simple integrations and complex, multi-step workflows. The "recipe" builder is intuitive yet incredibly powerful, allowing for conditional logic, loops, and complex data transformations.

The connector library is massive and high-quality. There are connectors for almost every SaaS application we use (Salesforce, NetSuite, Slack, Google Workspace, etc.). The setup is very guided, and I haven't had any authentication or connection issues.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

While the interface is user-friendly, understanding the Workato logic and its components (triggers, actions, data pills, etc.) can take some time. A novice user might feel a bit overwhelmed at first, though the tutorials and documentation are excellent.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before, customer information was scattered across different systems (CRM, ERP, marketing platform). Workato now automatically syncs this data, ensuring a single "source of truth" for all teams.

We have significantly reduced the time spent on manual and repetitive tasks, such as creating new users in multiple apps, notifying teams of key events via Slack, or generating scheduled reports.

 ### 9. Effortless Integration and Scalability with Impressive Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavan V. | Architect, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Ease of Use, Extensive Connectivity, Scalability, Job Recipe, Flexibility

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

May be Pricing, Performance on huge data loads

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before adopting Workato, we relied solely on Marketo for conversion. Introducing Workato enabled a seamless migration of the MLM process, allowing us to effectively integrate and target both Eloqua and Salesforce CRMs.

 ### 10. Workato - A clever tool that you need to automate tasks across your business.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arjun G. | IT and Project Manager | Associate Salesforce Consultant, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

What I like best about Workato is its unparalleled ability to simplify and minimize tasks through automation, fundamentally transforming business processes. Its integration capabilities are truly exceptional, seamlessly connecting with platforms like Slack, Salesforce, spreadsheets, and various APIs. This extensive connectivity is simply "out of this world."

What truly struck me, especially during my journey through the free Workato Academy (which offers not just invaluable knowledge but also certifications that validate your expertise), was the sheer number of use cases I discovered. These insights made it clear how Workato could reduce workloads by more than 80%. I found myself constantly brainstorming and creating projects that leveraged Workato, witnessing firsthand how it streamlines complex business operations, making them both simple and remarkably effective.

The ease of implementation was another significant advantage; what could have taken weeks was up and running in a matter of days. Furthermore, the frequency of use has been incredibly high, often without me even needing to open the Workato application directly. Its automatic handling of requests ensures that critical processes are continuously managed in the background. Honestly, without Workato, I can't imagine the extensive efforts and resources we would otherwise need to achieve similar results.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

While Workato provides excellent free subscriptions for learners, my main concern is its complex pricing structure. If automated workflows (recipes) aren't meticulously optimized, costs can quickly become very high. This is because pricing often scales with usage, meaning inefficient recipe design can lead to unexpected and significant expenditures. This complexity demands a proactive approach to recipe design and continuous usage monitoring. Without a clear understanding of how each automated action impacts the bill, businesses might find the financial benefits of automation overshadowed by unforeseen costs.

Additionally, while customer support is generally responsive, I've found that the resolution isn't always satisfactory. For instance, when I encountered an issue where Workato was tampering with files during uploads to Salesforce, the support team requested a live demonstration at their convenience. This was challenging and ineffective for me, as I was reluctant to disclose sensitive information in that manner. A more desirable approach would have been for them to provide standard troubleshooting steps or a solution with clear instructions, rather than requiring a live session that presented privacy concerns.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato excels at solving the challenge of complex and time-consuming data integration and automation, particularly for non-technical users. For instance, I was developing a project that needed to fetch data from a spreadsheet, process it, and then push it to Salesforce. Traditionally, this would involve direct integrations, extensive coding, and custom flows – a highly time-consuming process. Any future edits would have been a nightmare for the non-IT users this project aimed to serve. This is where Workato became a game-changer. With Workato, I could easily connect the spreadsheet and Salesforce using simple click actions. The drag-and-drop interface within the recipe builder allowed me to achieve the entire requirement without writing a single line of code. Updates or modifications also became a matter of a few clicks, and the easy monitoring features were incredibly helpful. Beyond the initial scope, I was also able to extend functionality by integrating with platforms like Slack and DocParser, adding valuable capabilities that were not even part of the original click-based requirements but proved immensely beneficial.

 ### 11. Effortless Workflow Automation with Intuitive Drag-and-Drop Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chee Ken S. | Software QA Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Ease of use with low code required to set up a workflow. Additionally, the drag and drop interface is user friendly, with adequate control and information, with good automation capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

It does require some amount of learning curve to fully utilize full functionality (such as complex customization) of Workato.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data processing automation

 ### 12. Workato’s integration is a money, time and effort saver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Habeeb K. | Automation & Technology, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato has been incredible in terms of stitching tools together, performing difficult transformations, helping team deliver projects and complete tasks on autopilot. The connectors, capabilities and the support Workato as a tool offers is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I don’t really see any downsides of this platform. It connects to every app in our ecosystem, performs every task that we can imagine (if the APi’s allow for it) and managing the recipes with error handling has been swift

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us deliver webinars (600 webinars every month delivered within seconds), performs list uploads, run campaigns and perform several other sales/marketing operations. Workato is truly a an automation mammoth

 ### 13. Easy Automation That Just Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Nothing as such i disliked workato although i love its swags

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation problem and external system connectivity

 ### 14. Integrating systems and processes is a breeze with Workato.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy O. | Director of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato is easy to use, really powerful, and fun... but even better than all that is the constant improvements and new features added to the product. Workato is always moving in the right direction, from quality-of-life improvements to powerful new features that leverage AI, to the ability to easily debug recipes (scripts), this product is always ahead of the curve.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I've been using Workato now for over three years and I haven't once regretted my decision to bring this into our organization. There really isn't anything I dislike about Workato.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a number of internally developed applications. Workato makes it easy to share data between all of our internal tool AND external SaaS apps as well. We also send data from multiple sources into a Big Query database. Workato makes it easy to integrate with all our data sources and send that data to Big Query.

 ### 15. The more you dig the more treasure you find!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jorge M. | Network Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato is very easy to use and highly intuitive, the interface is clean and minimalist which makes it very easy to start working with, as opposed to overwhelming interfaces with hundreds of controls to choose from. Once connections are established between Workato and cloud services, creating recipes to perform a wide range of automated actions becomes as easy as drag and drop. The amount of applications already setup out of the box is in the hundreds, plus many more are available via the support community.
The Academy, which hosts their trainings, is an invaluable asset because it just becomes the easiest way to see it in action. Following their on-demand short and simple to understand lessons you go from automating simple actions like "move file from A to B" all the way to "setup an enterprise chatbot with custom actions and responses".
If a recipe is well designed you will rarely have to touch it again for a long time. Designing recipes is probably the most important step towards implementing your ideas, and Workato even provides AI assistance for that task. But once a recipe is designed and deployed, if all variables were accounted for then it will run until the end of times.
The purpose and end goal of Workato is to take on your manual work and elevate you to a designer/administrator level so that you can do more with your time. The more you build in Workato the more time you save yourself and your company. After developing in Workato for approximately 1 year I can say with full guarantee that I already saved myself and my colleagues dozens of man hours, and that value only keeps increasing every day. There are tasks that I literally do not do anymore because they are fully designed, deployed, and automated at this point.
Lastly, I should give a huge shout out to their Customer Support, and Customer Success Managers. Their Customer Support over chat was able to help me with ease a few times with small issues I was encountering. For big issues I absolutely recommend contacting your Customer Success Manager. No matter the question I threw at them, they found resources to help me and got on meetings with me to help me step by step through my problems. From setting up connections, to advice on environment growth and expansion, to task analysis and efficiency, you name it, they had someone that helped me with it.
All in all it's been a 5 star service all around for a solid year, and right now I have more ideas I want to implement on it, but just not enough time for everything. But Workato will give me my time back the more I develop on it!

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The only downside I can think of in Workato is that it does not cover every single application out there, in the sense of pre-established applications in the library. I have had to setup a few myself for more obscure cases of lesser known applications that my organization uses, and it might be a little bit of trial and error until you get it all squared away. But any application that has APIs can be setup with Workato manually via their HTTP connector. It might not be as smooth and easy as the range of applications they already provide out of the box, but it is not at all impossible. If you find yourself in a jam and you can't get the exact settings right, contact their support or customer success manager, they will be able to help.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem we had before Workato was HR Onboarding/Offboarding and employee changes. It was a mostly manual process on the IT side, from setting up accounts, to assigning application licenses, to granting network permissions, etc, for every single new employee. And the reverse for offboarding, as in disabling accounts, removing licenses, removing accesses, etc. It was consuming us a lot of time every week processing every single person coming in and out manually.
Once we got on Workato I started designing our Onboarding/Offboarding processes, connecting all our applications to it, setting conditions and actions as needed, to the point that I have now automated probably 90% of our process on it, which has saved us dozens of man hours every quarter.

**Official Response from Nikki Salvie Clarin:**

> Hi Jorge,

Thank you so much for sharing your journey with Workato! We’re delighted to hear that our platform's intuitive, drag-and-drop recipe builder UI and robust Academy resources have made automation accessible and impactful for you. It’s incredible to see how you’ve automated HR onboarding/offboarding and saved your team significant time. Automating 90% of these tasks and freeing up dozens of hours each quarter is such a huge win, and it's precisely what we love to see our customers achieve with Workato!

We’re extremely grateful for your recognition of our Customer Success and Support teams. We're thrilled to hear that they've been exceptionally valuable to you--whether it’s resolving quick questions over chat or providing step-by-step guidance for more complex challenges. Your recognition means a lot to us, and I'll make sure to share your feedback with the team!

We also appreciate your feedback about the need to manually set up connectors for some lesser known apps and systems. While we’re always expanding our connector library, we’re glad our HTTP connector and support team could help you get the applications you need integrated. If there's anything else we can do to help, please don't hesitate to reach out!

Thanks again for the thoughtful review, and we can't wait to see what other workflows we can orchestrate together!

**Reviewed by:** Rohit M.

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I like Workato's recipe building, error logging, and job monitoring features. They also offer a wide variety of connectors which I find helpful.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Handling some connectors and improving them like Zuora where we have to build JSON instead of just connecting.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato to integrate different systems easily. I like recipe building, error logging, job monitoring, and its wide variety of connectors.

 ### 25. Workato is a great help in creating software integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aakil B. | Application Support Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I love the various features that Workato offers in streamlining software integrations. I also love the user interface and overall user experience of Workato. I love how easy it is to use and the speed and quality of the customer support. I admire the large number of connections that it offers to various applications. Aside from all this, I love Workato as I feel it is the best iPaaS platform.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Overall, I love Workato, but if I had to choose something that I potentially dislike or would like to see improve over time, it would be the following: I would like to see some enhancements for integrating code into Workato such as Python or Ruby code.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato is helping me integrate GLs from Portfolio+ to NetSuite as well as support nCino integration. Workato is central in the integration process.

 ### 26. It’s good

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hari s. | Integration consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I love that I can extend Workato with custom Ruby/JS code when needed, but 80% of the time, the pre-built connectors and formulas cover it. Plus, the API integration is way faster than building middleware in-house.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I don’t have any dislike all transformations are crystal clear

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before: I manually enter the same data into multiple systems (e.g., adding new leads to Salesforce, then copying them to our email tool).
With Workato: The second a lead comes in, Workato auto-adds it everywhere and even sends a welcome email—without me lifting a finger.
My Benefit: I save hours every week and avoid typos.

 ### 27. Seamless Data Integration Made Simple with Workato

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roman K. | Managed Cloud Services Sales Manager

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I appreciate Workato's ability to seamlessly integrate and synchronize data across enterprise applications and systems. The simplicity of the application and the ability to create custom recipes stand out to me. It's easy to tailor recipes to our clients' workflows and integrate data throughout the process. The transition to Workato was very smooth for our team.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato helps us solve data silo challenges by integrating and synchronizing data across enterprise applications without extensive configuration.

 ### 28. Putting the power of integration development into the hands of more resources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew R. | Product Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato's existing library of connectors and recipes gives you a huge leap forward in your time-to-market for customer integrations. That included with the depth of knowledge in their internal resources and the ease of use in their recipe builder and documentation around connectors allows for fast and efficient building of a multitude of integrations.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

The only downside we've encountered is the overall cost. But the age old saying stays true of you get what you pay for. This platform is not cheap but it has been well worth the cost to us.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reducing our engineering investment and time to market for needed integrations.

 ### 29. Streamlined automation that saves time and effort

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Suhani S. | Growth Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato makes building and managing integrations incredibly simple with its user-friendly interface and wide range of pre-built connectors. The drag-and-drop workflow builder allows even non-technical users to automate processes efficiently. It’s reliable, flexible, and scales well as our needs grow.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

While powerful, the pricing can be high for smaller teams, and some advanced features have a steeper learning curve. Additionally, certain complex integrations require more technical expertise than expected, and documentation could be more detailed in those areas.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato has helped us automate repetitive business workflows, streamline data movement between apps, and reduce manual errors in our processes. By connecting multiple tools and systems, it eliminates silos and improves overall efficiency. This saves significant time for our team, allows faster decision-making with real-time data, and enables us to scale operations without increasing manual effort.

 ### 30. Workato Makes Simple Recipes Easy with Low-Code/No-Code

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I like that it is a low code/no code platform, so creating simple recipes is easy for non-technical users.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Further knowledge is required from Workato documentation for complex integrations.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves us time whenever we need to bulk edit or delete records, or export data as a CSV file for reimport into another table.

 ### 31. Unmatched Scalability and Flexibility with Workato

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jackson H. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I love the scalability and variability that Workato enables.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

There is nothing that I can think about!

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato gives our customers the ability to integrate with any other software that has an open API.

 ### 32. Effortless Navigation and Recipe Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I appreciate how easy it is to navigate the platform, create recipes and connectors, and manage multiple users and connections.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I wish Workato offered more actions within the Recipe Ops and API sections. It would be helpful to have the ability to start, stop, or make minor edits to specific steps in a recipe using only APIs.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What stands out to me is the way it brings together different systems through integration.

 ### 33. Our apps are talking to each other thanks to Workato

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marta S. | Revenue strategy manager, Renewables & Environment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I actually adore the way of how Workato integrates the low-code interface. It allows me to create advanced integrations between such systems as Salesforce and HubSpot without a line of code. The large and pre-packaged connectors and recipes library is awesome as well. Our marketing leads were simultaneously synced to sales almost instantly with a pre-built recipe. Also the well-designed error handling and monitoring dashboards provide us comfort that everything is going on.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

At times the pricing may seem somewhat high particularly to small companies just beginning. An interface is quite easy to use, although it requires certain time to learn some of the advanced features and expressions. Even their useful tools do not allow us to debug overly complicated recipes easily. Everything is not always a pure no-code experience.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato even did what we had thought was an impossible task and tackled our enormous issue of having discreet systems and manual data entry. In the past, we wasted time resolving several hours in a week trying to manually transfer customer data between our billing system, HubSpot and Salesforce. This resulted in failure to meet the demand and annoying mistakes and inaccurate information to our sales and support teams. Workato now automates all that data flow and works in the background. We have accurate information in real time in our teams which gives them time to concentrate in interacting with the customers. It has seriously enhanced our data integrity and efficiency.

 ### 34. Intuitive Interface That Bridges Teams Seamlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey B. | Senior Product Integrations Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I find that the user interface is very intuitive and easy to follow. It allows developers to connect with members of their team that may be less tech savvy while not losing any of the key information.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Different platform components don't effortlessly flow into each other. It takes some navigation.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato automates all of our B2B integrations and saves us so much time in manual entry as well as errors.

 ### 35. Powerful and Easy-to-Use Integration Platform with Great Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato is extremely easy to use, even for those new to automation platforms. I completed my training and created my first recipe within a week. Now, we have around 20 recipes running successfully. The training courses are well-structured and helpful for onboarding.

One of the best aspects is the dedicated support—we can directly connect with Workato's team whenever needed to discuss the best way to implement our requirements. As a B2B SaaS company, our customers use the Workato connector daily. We’ve implemented event triggers to push data to their CRMs or fetch from specific sources.

Workato offers a wide range of features—we’re currently using connectors, triggers, and events effectively. Integration is also seamless. We have multiple recipes tailored for different use cases, and it takes minimal input to build, test, and deploy new recipes end to end.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

One limitation is the lack of an API to automatically refresh recipes when there are changes. If something breaks in a new version, Workato rolls back to the previous one, but without much visibility into what went wrong.

Additionally, I find it difficult to monitor connector status—there's no clear way to check if a connector is live and functioning properly. Having better operational insight would make troubleshooting easier.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re using Workato both as an iPaaS and an embedded integration platform. Our end users are business users who want to move data between their internal systems and our platform on demand, while also keeping their own systems up to date in real time.

Workato solves a major problem for us: we don’t need to build and maintain custom connectors for every integration request. Instead, we create reusable recipes in Workato, which our users can plug into. This significantly reduces our development effort and time-to-market.

It also handles authentication, data security, and gives visibility into events and job runs, which helps us support and troubleshoot more efficiently. Overall, Workato lets us offer flexible, secure, and scalable integrations to our customers without overloading our engineering team.

 ### 37. Detailed Automation, But Overly Technical

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samy M.

**Reviewed Date:** December 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

I like how you can be really detailed in the flows with Workato to ensure the right person gets the right inbound lead.

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

I find Workato to be overly technical and it could be simplified. Even though the initial setup was easy enough, we still needed marketing automation experts.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workato for lead automation, ensuring the right teams get the right leads with detailed flows.

 ### 38. Great tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas J. | Specialist automatisering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Workato?**

Workato is a very easy to undestand tool. But has a lot of functionality. Great customer services (some times it takes a bit long but it's acceptable). As a developer I find the custom connectors very handy, because you can connect other tools into your workflow to make it a real orchestrator

**What do you dislike about Workato?**

Sometimes the customer services takes a bit long. And a few features are not looked after which means that documentation is not up to date and or doesn't work a it first seemed.

**What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workato consolidates and automates data workflows across multiple apps—such as CRMs, accounting software, and marketing platforms—so you don’t have to manage complex, manual integrations. By acting as a “bridge” between systems, it reduces repetitive data entry and time-consuming administrative tasks, freeing teams to focus on higher-impact work. The result is fewer errors, faster processes, and a more unified view of critical business information, making day-to-day operations smoother and more efficient.

**Official Response from Nikki Salvie Clarin:**

> Hi Lucas,

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! It's awesome to hear that we could help you consolidate your data processes across various applications, reducing the manual effort and making your day-to-day operations smoother. We're absolutely thrilled to know that Workato is serving as a powerful orchestrator for your workflows, connecting all your tools seamlessly while being intuitive for developers like yourself.

We appreciate your honest feedback about the customer support response times and the need to keep our documentation up-to-date on certain features. Rest assured, we're actively working on these improvements, as we'd love to make your experience even better. If there's any other way we can support you, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Cheers,

Nikki, Sr. CX Analyst @ Workato
