There is no understanding, no reaching out to each other, let alone compassion. In case of dispute, there is no chance to escalate, e.g. to a manager. Answers given by support are pre-cooked, and repeated, seemingly a bad-implemented AI-bot. **What problems is Meazure Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?** The possibility to take an exam, which should be beneficairy to me. However, it didn't get that far. The 'chat expert' concluded that the exam was a no-show, while I was even two hours early. No retake, reschedule was possible but at the usual fee of 150 dollar (ex VAT!) plus additional fee for speedy reschedule. Where it was at least clumsy to even get to the point of making an appointment, they are incapable of taking into account clock and daytime differences through the world. ### 26. They frustrate students because terminology changes from page to page. The new Browser requirement mean Chromebook users cannot use ProctorU. On the faculty side, ProctorU has decided they know what is best for facutly in terms of viewing and faculty are not empowered to even do simple searches without seeing years of old exams, Faculty can contact someone at ProctorY for a clean-up but it is a time waster. **What problems is Meazure Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?** They are creating new problems everyday. The basic functions of their website does NOT work and they do NOT work EVERY SINGLE TIME. First, I am not sure why Examity is in the market and why it hasn't been taken down for good. Dealing with agents and websites has given me one of the greatest frustrations and stress. EVERY SINGLE time i have to login to Examity; i have to contact "expert"/agent of yours to send a link. Why the hell is this website still full of bugs, errors...literally requires you to clean and prepare a lot of things to be able to log in successfully. I am currently finding every single platform I can leave a the worst review for Examity. I speak to myself to understand the questions and they flagged my test as academic misconduct because I was reading the question to myself for better understanding. A lot of people do that to collect their thoughts. There was no warning about this during the test and the Professor gave me a zero because ProctorU flagged my test as though I was cheating. The software is convenient that's about it but the support specialists make the process harder. **What do you dislike about Meazure Learning?** They won't allow you to take an exam you paid for if your state ID just expired. They don't make that crystal clear before taking the exam, though. They just keep repeating that they need a valid ID. If you just need to confirm that a student's ID is correct and they are who they say they are, then why does ProctorU care if the card itself is expired or not? To annoy people and make the test taking process unnecessarily harder on the user on themselves. I asked for a refund. As long as all of the other personal identification information on the ID is correct, they should let you take the exam that you paid for! But No, they will literally hang up on you and refuse you. They were asking me to go to DDS to get the card renewed in order to take the test within a 2 hour time frame knowing that DDS was closed at the time of the test. Fully online students like myself aren't given standard student IDs, and not everyone has a Passport to use for verification either. I wish I read these reveiws before choosing ProctorEW, they made what was supposed to be a simple proctored midterm process so much harder than it should have been! **What problems is Meazure Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?** They weren't able to solve my issue ### 32. To summarise: - Livechatted before the exam started to check that the form of I have is acceptable, which they confirmed it was - Started the exam to be told the ID was not acceptable - Advised I was going home to get alternative ID and would be back within the alloted timeslot given - Got back with the ID within the timeslot and was told that the exam had been cancelled. I was given an exam access code, which ServSafe told me should be used.One of the employees was ready and scheduled to take the exam through ProctorU, however the scheduled proctor informed her that she could not take it. ProctorU refused to accept this exam access code and referred her back to ServSafe. ServSafe assured me that this is the code to use and informed me that they could not help me otherwise. When I asked to speak with a supervisor or manager from ProctorU, I was hung up on. Then I was interrupted 5 times, for adjusting in my chair. All 4 of these people treated me like a delinquent. I am a 25 year old healthcare professional. I lost $180 on a test I was not able to test and then when an investigation was launched they lied about the problem which could have easily been seen in my three-hour-long chat with the live assistant so I was not able to get a refund and to try and take the test I had to pay another $180. The exam proceeded smoothly. There were no interruptions, or proctors to deliberately penalize students. **What do you dislike about Meazure Learning?** I had a horrible experience using ProctorU for the same SJT test I took last year, which went smoothly. However this time, the individual proctor I encounter was very unprofessional and deliberately gave me a hard time. I could not understand her accent and politely asked her to repeat so I can understand her instruction. The administrator said she can not see me despite my multiple adjustments and while my entire face was on camera. I have a desktop that does not let me zoom out to view my shoulder but I made every attempt to ensure my face was fully captured on camera and be compliant with the requirement. First, this staff had me take video 3 times of my room and said a blank paper cannot be used - which I removed at her request and retook the video. Despite that I feel her requests were starting to become irrational and personal, I deferred to those ridiculous nitpicking acts, for the sake of the exam and tried to sit as tall as I can. At the beginning of my exam, she interrupted twice by speaking and making red marks onscreen and demanded me to lower my camera that they can not see me. I did not even touch my camera, made sure to maintain my posture sitting tall, and my forehead to chin was on camera. Further, this staff even had another proctor who commanded me during the exam, to lower the camera, which has been in the same position during the test. She continued the condescending tone for about 2 mins, even after I quickly tried to sit straight to appear EVEN taller and higher-up in the view. I had to mute the entire computer in order to focus. The staff was extremely rude and took away my time, causing me unable to focus in the beginning. This is not even a test we can or need to cheat, it is a relatively easy judgemental test and not a factor or memorization test. After my exam during the post-exam survey, I noticed the proctor re-connected the remote viewing as I was filling out an anonymous survey. This is a VIOLATION of privacy! This proctoring experience is the worst I have ever experienced. If the company continues to allow its employees to act this way, it will negatively impact many test-takers. I recommend ProctorU to investigate and speak with these 2 individuals about their professionalism and remind them of the right approach and the goal of this job. When I installed the ProctorU extension, their star rating shows 1/5. After this test experience, I began to understand why this poor rating! Examity did not make my top 3 picks. I would recommend doing your reasearch. I don't love this product and there are companies out there who are newer players in this industry who may be a bit ahead of the curve. My first proctor was nice enough, but any good is outweighed by the negatives. **What do you dislike about Meazure Learning?** I took the GRE yesterday, and I was disappointed with the ProctorU service. I was not told I needed to download the LogMeIn application prior to my test session, as a result of which I had to spend time at the beginning of my session downloading and installing the application. Furthermore, I was not told I would need to enable certain settings for my proctor (like screen sharing and mouse control), which also took time. Overall, it was 30 minutes into my 1pm appointment before I could actually begin the test. Moreover, the proctor changed several settings on my computer, which I understand was to prevent cheating. However, I was NOT told which settings these were, AND they were not changed back to their original setting after I completed the test. Now, the day after the test, I have to figure out which settings were changed and fix them. My first proctor was polite enough, but I did not get to actually speak to her until shortly before the test began. My second proctor (and, by the way, I was not told I would be changing proctors midway through the test) did not speak to me at all, and only communicated with me through the chat box, which was time consuming, and often resulted in unclear instructions. All in all, I found ProctorU's interface and customer service left a lot to be desired. I would rather take the GRE in person at a testing center than have to use this poorly designed company again.
