**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

make sure you have a good coder to build out your platform.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

burn down and project finances is what I use it for. Be able to identify if something has been miscoded.

  ### 3. Great cloud based solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron H. | Administrator , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

One of the best features is the business planning cloud. It is a key to the tech age collaboration.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

While I have no personal dislikes at this time, I have heard from others that the formatting could be improved.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue being solved is being able to track what changes are made and equally important, who is making the changes. One big benefit is the compatibility with Excel.

  ### 4. Great Software, Great Support, Always Getting Better

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

It is always improving...each new release offers more and better features.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Nothing. I don't have any complaints. It is great.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Do it yesterday. So much better than Hyperion or BPC.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Forecasting, planning, and reporting. Will allow us to significantly reduce planning cycle time once implemented. Currently waiting on the IT department for some integration work. But that has nothing to do with the product.

  ### 5. Versatile Program

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I like that we are able to compile large amounts of data while so also being able to model with flexibility.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

We are still gaining familiarity with this program so I am unable to give this information until we are more in-depth with this.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

The program seems to be pretty user-friendly but some of the information may be more advanced. Take the time to truly learn the system.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to resolve issues with needing IT for support. We are also able to build our annual budget and forecasts with ease using the Adaptive Planning.

  ### 6. Great option for automating financial processes.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Beatriz C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

OfficeConnect is my favorite feature for adaptive insights. It's a time-saving and quick to use and refresh team every week. This has allowed us to create ad hoc reports more rapidly and in other areas of work more productively.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The reporting characteristic of Adaptive is somewhat limited; however, you may manipulate the reports in Excel if the Adaptive Insight OfficeConnect function is available, so work can be done, but the report can be imitated in the cloud also.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Place your first instance of help, because this will make the product much easier in the future. Invest your money. Immediately put your efforts into this and in the future it will pay dividends.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To our FP&A squad, adapting was an absolute dream. As our main predictive, budgeting and preparation method, we use Adaptive. Office Connect is also an excellent addition that helps us to spend more time evaluating our business needs in order to save time on worldly tasks.

  ### 7. Best HR Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Himanshu A. | Sr. Business System Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Easy to use interface and getting all details of HR in one single view rather tan switching to different pages

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Sometimes it is difficult to find options. It's like

What is visible is not correct and what is not Visible is the Correct way to use.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR System for our organisation

  ### 8. Workday

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 29, 2020

The notifications about changes and easy tracking.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I do not have any dislikes at this time.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Employees time keeping including hourly employees, vacation and sick time. Also, internal employee search

  ### 9. Adaptive Insights Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah S. | Financial Planning Manager, Environmental Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 02, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Our users are now able to log in and review their own expense reports, drill into transactions and customer/sku data. This has been a huge timesaver for our users and our small accounting department.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

We did need a consultant to originally help us out with our build. Our department made the decision to participate in the build so that we could better understand our accounts and formulas. This has helped us tremendously in the years since our build to modify and build upon our instance. If you did not do this, I could see issues for administrators.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

it is a great tool to use. Be sure to be involved in your implementation.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has give our users information at their fingertips and save our accounting department hours each month that we used to spend emailing reports. Now users can log in and view what they need.

  ### 10. Good product, its implementation is fast.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Margaret K. S. | Engineering Manager, Machinery, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I love it's easy to customize for business requirements. Once the concept is known, it's easy to make modifications and create custom versions.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

They constantly add new features and the priority map often seems out of line with customer requirements. For instance, prioritizing a color shift over improves protection.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Build good relationships with your customer service as they can provide tremendous assistance. And premium support in the season.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great app. The manner in which we prepare has changed completely. It can be fully adapted to your requirements. With the monitoring and user-friendly forecasting functions we have been able to obtain much more P&L from the operating department.

  ### 11. Great product with huge potential

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phillip C. | Senior Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Contrary to other reviews I find reporting and dashboards easy to use within the system once you've built a few. Being able to run different scenarios for outer year forecasts has been a huge benefit for our team. Any errors in the model are relatively easy to track down on your own, and the support team has been a huge asset to us throughout our time using Adaptive.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The entire user interface is really clunky, and could use a lot of investment. We have received a good amount of negative feedback on user experience from budget owners, but with time they get used to it. Data privacy rules within the system are overly rigid.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Long-term planning (3-year forecast currently) and Personnel planning have become much easier in Adaptive. Adding a year to your forecast can be as simple as clicking a button and checking assumptions if you've built your model well. Personnel planning as a live, collaborative process has also become much more manageable and accurate.

  ### 12. Ease of Use, and Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miles M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Our users can now sign in and review their own expenses statements, purchases and client / customer data. To our clients and our limited accounting teams, this was a huge saver of time.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Initially, we wanted a consultant to help us develop. Our department chose to participate in the building to help our accounts and formulae better understand. Over the years since our construction, it has helped us tremendously to change and expand on our example. I could see problems for administrators if you haven't.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Cost-efficient and powerful solution for an increasingly complex healthcare firm. Make sure you engage in your implementation.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This gives our users data and saves our accounts hours per month that we used to e-mail documents. Users can now sign in and see what they need.

  ### 13. Adaptive Insights - Flexible, Driver-Based Planning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Having a single, unified source of truth available instantly anywhere has been a major boost to our organization's productivity. Given we have teams at dozens of locations utilizing the tool (who are also possess varying levels of financial fluency), Adaptive's easy-to-use nature has been a great asset to our FP&A team.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

It would be great to have the option to build more fluid, complex models within the system. Adaptive's best and worst feature is that it essentially "operates like an Excel sheet in the cloud," allowing for easy standardization in a familiar layout--but at the cost of deeper customization.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Adaptive's strong integrations with NetSuite and Salesforce make it a great option if your organization already employs these systems. Adaptive has been a useful tool to standardize our forecast/budget processes due to its cloud-based nature, but understand that because of its simplified design, it lacks the deep functionality that other competitors may offer. However, the ease-of-use is a boon for looping in stakeholders who otherwise may not be fluent enough to successfully manage a more complex planning tool.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With dozens of teams spread across multiple sites and time zones, the ability to have one location for all planning information has made our deliverable timelines much shorter, with better version control to boot. Adaptive neatly connects with most of our systems (Financial, Headcount and CRM), which means our FP&A team can spend more time doing analysis and less time worrying about data sourcing or template management. Adaptive's OfficeConnect tool means we can quickly run and iterate reporting as needed, which cuts down on reporting time overall.

  ### 14. A very agile budgeting and reporting app with seamless integration to NetSuite

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadia L. | Sr Business Systems Administrator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

It's amazing to see how much Adaptive has progressed over the years and I am excited to see what they have to offer in the future. They were a budgeting and reporting tool about 10 years ago with manual data load and now they're a fully integrated solution that provides intelligence to so many decision makers.
We can have multiple budget versions and get actuals from NetSuite updated on demand to compare to the plan and update the forecast.
We can run complex reports and create a standard reporting package, that will get updated straight in Excel with a few clicks of a button.
You can budget based on many financial and/or statistical drivers, the easy drag and drop, copy and paste interface makes it all super easy.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Setting up hierarchies takes a little time, it's not matched to NetSuite 1-1.
Pulling data from NetSuite from searches that return results over 1000 lines can be tricky and glitchy but I'm sure Adaptive will find a way to overcome this issue in the future releases.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Adaptive is a light but agile application that is not too costly compared to competitors. It integrates with NetSuite very well and is a great addition to an enterprise application portfolio in any industry.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great decision support, budgeting and reporting as well as financial modelling solution.

  ### 15. Adaptive Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bailey C. | Financial Analyst, Management Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive Insights is easy to navigate and is user friendly. Before the position I am currently in, I had zero experience with Adaptive. It is very easy to catch on and learn about. Adaptive Insights makes financial planning and forecasting much easier.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I dislike that you cannot filter for specific months when using the sheets. My company does a lot with "LTM" or "Last Twelve Months" time period. Not having the option to choose specific months makes this process a bit more time consuming than I would like.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our monthly financials are uploaded each month using Adaptive. I have realized that Adaptive makes this process a lot faster for us. We are able to complete this entire process in about two hours rather than a full work day, which is about what it would take us without Adaptive. Adaptive also allows us to forecast our financials and implement budgets. We run all of our reports from Adaptive as well. I have realized that Adaptive has a lot of useful components.

  ### 16. Easy Implementation and a lifesaver in a rapidly growing organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott Z. | Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Scale-able and was relatively easy to integrate. It's also nice having an ability to easily alter assumptions/hierarchies for various different scenarios

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

More education is needed on the initial set-up/design especially when linking to a multi-dimensional general ledger tool. Formulas are somewhat intuitive but can be complicated and I feel as though it should mirror Excel a little more.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Cost-effective and powerful solution for a rapidly growing complex health care company

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Drastically reduced time spent in Excel and monitoring model integrity. Easily scale-able which has allowed our rapidly growing $80+M company to keep an entire FP&A function to 1 FTE

  ### 17. A high performing solution for increased business intelligence

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marvin G. | Senior Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

What I like the most about the product is that it is a solution in the cloud, with a modern engine for planning and analysis in memory, this technology makes the data always up-to-date and accurate, thus reducing budgeting times. Integrates multiple systems where financial information is stored improving the efficiency of the area and the flexibility of work resulting in the fast delivery of reports with a greater capacity of visualization.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Several years ago they had to recode the entire product so it wasn't java dependent. Before they did that it was extremely annoying every time your browser would update, features of Adaptive wouldn't work. Fortunately the resolved that problem. The experience from a user standpoint is very straight-forward but there is a bit of a learning curve as an administrator.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Decide what level of investment you want to have on the administration side. There are other tools that may have broader capability but are significantly more complicated to manage and administer. We administer Adaptive within our finance organization with a non-IT headcount and it works great. You will not be able to plop in your current model to adaptive. Spend time redesigning your process to use what Adaptive has to offer.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The simplicity is a super benefit. The user interface is very straight forward. We have looked at several competing products, even buying one of them only to moth-ball it, and Adaptive is every bit as powerful with a much more intuitive user experience. Keep your models simple as long as you don't go overboard in the beginning. This is not Excel which was difficult for people to wrap their heads around because it looks so similar at times.

  ### 18. Wish we didn't wait so long!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive has allowed us to look at our business like never before. The reporting flexibility is fantastic. We have integrated our CRM which has given us a single source of information versus copying and pasting data from multiple sources. It saves us significant amounts of time and allows us to analyze our buisness in meaningful ways we couldn't do before.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

If we knew then what we know now.....I think we could have set up our instance in a more efficient way for the budgeters if we had a greater understanding of the program.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Invest in the set-up. Understand the system as much as possible in the initial stages in order to set up your sheets in the most efficient way. Engage your users early on. And be sure to invest in DISCOVERY. It is fantastic and allows users to see data in very visually stimulating ways which engages them even more with the system.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adaptive has streamlined our budgeting process significantly which has freed up a lot of time of our key stakeholders to focus on running the business and driving growth. We can easilty identify area's we are going over budget in order to course correct.

  ### 19. Adaptive Insights - An invaluable tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea F. | Director of Budgets and Financial Modeling, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The workflow functionality and the ability to roll together multiple budgets with a click of a button!

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Not much - we came from using spreadsheets for budgeting, so this tool has been a huge upgrade for us!

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Do it! Especially if you are a Workday client. It was one of the best moves we ever made.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability for our high level budget mangers to look at multiple budgets across their division and give them the tools to make hard decisions - like reallocation's. Also, it has been a huge time saver for the budget office!

  ### 20. Single-Source of Truth; Able to handle complex organizations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Louis F. | Sr. Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive serves as a single source of truth for our reporting, much better than passing around Excel books with different versions and changes and little to no audit trail. Adaptive allows you to create different versions, capture audit trail, and share reports in the web-based software or through their Excel plugin, OfficeConnect.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

It is very complex and takes some getting used to. Our core finance team is finally getting comfortable with it (about 5 months in), but I'm not sure how things will go when we have to start doing the budget cycle in the spring and teach other business users how to find reports, etc in Adaptive.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Consider getting a demo, going to a local event or even their Adaptive Live conference. Based on my research, Adaptive was well ahead most of the pack.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the integration with Intacct, pulling in actuals has been life-changing! We get actuals uploaded every night. The models that Adaptive allows you to build have also been helpful in reducing the number of Excel files we have to pass around. Slowly but surely, we are using Adaptive more and Excel less.

  ### 21. Wonderful Product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew C. | Senior Financial Analyst, Oil & Energy, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive is quite intuitive and easy to use. If you know Excel, then you can figure out Adaptive quite quickly. It has transformed our business unit by greatly reducing the amount of time it takes for us to turn around a forecast or reports, which has impacted our bottom line tremendously.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I would like to see some greater flexibility around non-specific time periods, for instance being able to use "Month 1, Month 2" etc. instead of MMMM/YYYY.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

I would highly recommend this product -- spend the time and capital up front to ensure that the product is set up the way you like it. It has transformed our department.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We update our 5-year forecast monthly, and Adaptive has allowed us to shorten the turn around period from days to hours, allowing us to spend more time analyzing the results instead of troubleshooting Excel. With more time, it allows for more scenario planning, quickly turning around cash flow forecasts in just minutes.

  ### 22. Great for Budgeting, should be improved for reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zeynep K. | Finance Specialist, Financial Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive Insights software is great software for budgeting process. It definitely helps to reduce the labor and complexity of budgeting process. Specifically, if the organization works in multiple countries, it helps a lot to get the consolidated budget.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I really dislike HTML reporting. It is very limited for financial reports like Actuals vs Target. It is not impossible to create these reports but very limited when you compare excel jet reports function. I believe it will continue to be improved. Other thing that I dislike is the formulas. We were thinking that we will be able to get rid of complex excel jet reporting formulas with Adaptive Insights. However, it seems like Adaptive Insights has its own coding (formula) language and it is not easier than other. Only working with a consultant can be a quick solution for that but you should consider to cost of it as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Make sure you will get support from all dpreatments from the organization. For instance, if you work at FP&A department, you cannot achieve implentation phase without IT and General Accounting departments support.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Defiantly revenue and OH budgeting process for our organization, I would recommend global organizations to use Adaptive Insights for budgeting.

  ### 23. Robust Tool that Takes Some Getting Used To

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I like the flexibility that Adaptive offers for financial modeling. It gives us the ability to automate a number of tasks and easily build reports to calculate metrics.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive has a high learning curve, mostly because its UI is not very intuitive. A lot of features have a resemblance to Microsoft Excel but have different functionality, which can be confusing at times.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Adaptive to forecast our business' financials and also to make strategic decisions on an ad-hoc basis. Benefits include quicker forecasting and easier collaboration across the team.

  ### 24. Great Reporting and Very Flexible

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark M. | Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The flexibility of the system is incredible. I have no doubt that it can fit any financial model. It also scales really well which makes me confident when building my model because I know that it can work for my company no matter what stage we're in.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I would love to see them have a native and easy buildout for OfficeConnect for Google Sheets. I am in OfficeConnect every day for my own analysis - but it would be helpful to be able to tie in the collaborative function of Google Sheets. There are some workarounds to get Adaptive Data into Google sheets, but it's still in its infancy.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Don't just use duct tape reports. The tool is extremely robust. Make sure you know it inside and out and you can automate a lot of reporting to maximize your time understanding your business rather than spending time generating reports.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Adaptive for our budgeting, forecasting, and internal reporting of financial metrics. It's super flexible and can be customized exactly to our business which makes all of the reports super relevant and valuable.

  ### 25. Review for You

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The best part of Adaptive Insights is the whole agency can enter and engage all within a live single platform.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

As in any team, people have different learning speeds. To get people to understand Adaptive Insights they need the self discipline to use it and practice.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Much time is saved in having the agency enter within the live single platform.

  ### 26. Great tool for budgeting and forecasting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizabeth L. | Senior Finance Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive Insights has made our budgeting and forecasting process much more automated and easier. We found that the tool is very scalable and can easily adapt to a growing business. Additionally, the version control allows us to do an easy comparison between different sets of data like actuals vs forecast and sensitivity analysis.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The dashboards feature “Discovery” is very limited and is not very user friendly. You require additional training to be able to create reports.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Adaptive Insights is a great tool for budgeting and forecasting, it can easily adapt to a growing business. My recommendation is to make sure to document all your current processes and business structure before the start of the implementation of the system.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-	Accountability across the organization
-	Every department contributing to the budget
-	Easy monitoring of the forecast
-	Automated reporting

  ### 27. Adaptive Makes FP&A Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive is easy to use and very robust. We can do anything we need to.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Navigation can be a bit difficult, especially when linked to other software.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to forecast and plan with this tool.

  ### 28. Adaptive Makes Planning Easy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex H. | FP&A Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive is user-friendly and enables you to do things that you only dreamed about doing ten years previous. It brings all of our reporting into one place and keeps everything tied together.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

For certain procedures and sheets with lots of rows, Adaptive can take a while to load. Hopefully the new elastic hypercube will overcome those speed limitations

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adaptive makes budgeting and forecasting simple. Furthermore, it enables us to continually save off new versions as our circumstances demand and then compare past versions with our current models. This dynamic nature of planning has really helped us dial in our communication with business partners and made forecasting an integral part of everyone's job - not just finance.

  ### 29. Adaptive is a MUST for FP&A

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonny L. | Financial Analyst, FP&A, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I like how complex Adaptive is but also how simple it is at the same time. If you master Adaptive you are invaluable to a company; however, most people won't master it, but will still want to analyze the sheets/reports. I enjoy knowing how to create those reports and giving critical information to executives in a way which they can interpret the data easily and make informed business decisions.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I wish it was easier to get training on how to do things in Adaptive. It would be a lot easier to learn if there were free videos available to take me through how to do everything from start to finish.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis, Personnel Sheets

  ### 30. The Best FP&A Tool Ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The best thing about Adaptive is the ability to create reports online and also in OfficeConnect (an add-in) to be able to share budget, actuals, and EOY forecasts with executives at the drop of a hat.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The thing I dislike about Adaptive is that it is difficult to find free tutorial videos. This makes you extra valuable if you become an Adaptive master; however, as a beginner it can be frustrating to always have to ask your manager or someone else for help.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

It is a lot of work to set up but once you get it running properly you'll never look back

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do everything FP&A related in Adaptive. We recently added OfficeConnect and this has saved us countless hours in preparing for business reviews and creating various ad-hoc analysis. Sharing reports has never been easier.

  ### 31. Adaptive User - Year 2

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Sports | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

We are on our second year of our Adaptive subscription and it continues to be a critical tool for our budgeting and forecasting process. It has most improved our personnel reporting.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

When we first created our models we made them too complex and they were hard to update. We are now working to remake our models so that they are easier to update.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

It is a great tool but it will be a time investment to learn how to use the system and how to set up financial models and sheets.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our headcount planning was very outdated and difficult to track in Excel but with Adaptive we can quickly and easily change headcount assumptions and see the impact to our financials. At a higher level, Adaptive has saved us many hours working on the budgeting and forecasting process.

  ### 32. Adaptive Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Easy to integrate with ERP such as SAP thanks to their API interface. Importing to Adaptive is smooth and easy to configure. Also when exporting to another application is needed, well suited interfaces can be built to fulfill any needs.

After our migration to SAP, we tried to change our organisational e-structure and move some cost centers from a level folder to another. That causes a loss of historical data and until today I am not sure if there is a safe way to do something like that.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The formatting of the built-in reports can be improved. Also the Dashboard options have room for improvement

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

To look for a good integration with your current ERP

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adaptive is being used across a department within one of our Divisions. Adaptive allows us to prepare and project our monthly Forecast and annual Budget. The Adaptive built-in reports are key for our department to analyse the evolution of our forecast and the comparison with our budget.

Furthermore it gives you a tool to control the projection of our intercompany recharges.

  ### 33. Perfect tool for FP&A

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joey P. | Financial Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive Insights is very user friendly. It made our annual budgeting process so much easier than it has been in years past. I like how easily all of our analysts are able to simultaneously work on the same model and forecasts. Great tool!

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Not much to dislike here. I wish they included more basic data visualization with the basic package however.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Adaptive Insight's OfficeConnect product has been extremely useful and saved our team lots of valuable time updating slides during our month end business reviews. We highly recommend!
Version Control is another strength of Adaptive Insights. With the numerous versions we work it, Adaptive makes it extremely easy to collaborate especially during budget season.

  ### 34. Great for forecasting and budgeting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlton Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I like that it aids in our budgeting process. Adaptive Insights is helpful for accounting and P&L statements from a big picture standpoint. When you need to see your overall profit or revenue statements, it's good. When you need to drill down to find exactly what's in each cell, it becomes much harder.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Setting up reports initially can be time consuming, and requires a lot of assistance from the vendor. I wish more users could access it for our work group. We have additional users that need to have access for budgeting purposes, but it is cost prohibitive to add them on to the package.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

I recommend Adaptive Insights as it's good for forecasting based on revenue and expenditure. You can easily customize and the options to import and export is pretty easy. You can easily export to Microsoft Excel.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to better forecast for a large multi-affiliate company. I really appreciated that Adaptive Insights made forecasting so easy. I liked that we could have every department contribute to the forecast and have it all roll into one easy to read report.

  ### 35. Adaptive Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Publishing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The flexibility is a huge benefit. We are able to easily slice and dice information like we never could before.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

My least favorite part of Adaptive is Office Connects. I feel there is a lot of room for improvement.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to analyze our data to make decisions quicker has been a huge benefit.

  ### 36. Relatively easy to use software with plenty of option for more tailored, complex analyses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in International Trade and Development | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

What has been most useful to me is the ability to run different reports and projections and to use this collaboratively onlinr. Previously. We were doing all of our budgets in Excel and it was quite slow.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

This software is easy to use once you've been trained, but there is quite a lot in the software that I don't know intuitively how to use. You also can't tie different budget versions together, which is slightly annoting when I need to create a new budget and forecast.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The version control, multiple user access, and ability to run reports have all made collaborating on budgets across offices much easier.

  ### 37. Adaptive insights takes a while to get used to, but works great

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Adaptive insights takes a while to get used to, but works great.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Interface is a bit unintuitive, it's a steep learning curve but worth it.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

It's not the easiest to use, but it's my company's platform of choice.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accounting purposes. Keeping tack of billing and expenses.

  ### 38. A powerful tool that has greatly improved our budgeting & forecast process.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 14, 2019

**Describe the project or task Workday Adaptive Planning helped with:**

Taking our company from a simple Excel budget maintained by one person to an in-depth, accurate, web-based version.

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Share with different team managers. Customize the appropriate access level.
Powerful reports & visuals.
Quickly re-version to play out different scenarios.
Customize the method to forecast key financial areas that makes sense for our business (including bookings, rev rec, collections, commissions, etc.)
Import actuals from QBO

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Not too much - the exported reports need customization.

  ### 39. Advantages of using Adaptive Insights for planning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aurora M. | Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The tool is very simple to use once you have had some basic training. It allows me to create custom reports for my different customers, as well as monitor performance of my different business units. I love the fact that the tool is super dynamic and allows me to customize my planning as time goes by.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I think the interface is not very user friendly. You must have a little bit of training to know how to create reports and benefit from all the tools Adaptive offers.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

It is a very good tool, but the interface could be a bit more user friendly. Furthermore, Office Connect could also improve by allowing the analyst to open more than one report at once. It is very frustrating having to close a file, just to open a second one you need when comparing data and changes.

My company also utilizes a sw called Domo where we can easily visualize cards and dashboards. I would like to see a feature where we could easily export data from Adaptive into Domo and the cards could be automatically updated with the latest forecasts and scenarios.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently monitoring and planing a budget for our tech department. The main benefit I see is the ability to do dynamic planning and performance tracking.

  ### 40. Powerful software for budget forecasting and advanced modeling, our single source of truth.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew S. | Corporate Controller, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Excellent customer experience from the start. My Sales Rep, Customer Success Managers, and even the Adaptive Insights finance team have been able to help me and set me up with the tools to succeed. I have been able to take my excel models which were becoming cumbersome and error prone and migrate them into a streamlined relational database. Implementing Adaptive has allowed my to drive change across the business and bring our departments together.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Office Connect will not work on Macs which is what most of my company uses. Steep learning curve with limited free training materials. Saving and loading sheets can be slow sometimes. Like most powerful software, users will only get out the effort they invest. Organizations unwilling to dedicate the time needed to set up the system structure and bring together key stakeholders will not gain the full value of Adaptive

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Make sure you are ready to commit the time and resources to make the implementation work. If you do you will be well rewarded.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One Issue included separate systems used by each departments that were not connected. Finance would have conflicting information with Sales and Support. Now our systems are integrated and we are reviewing the same data.
Another issue was maintenance of Excel models. Previously making changes was time consuming and error prone. Now we can have separate versions of plans to allow for quick changes

  ### 41. Review of Adaptive Planning and reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Love the flexibility and most of all the office connect feature. Also love the ability to roll it out to individual users so they can have input. The drill through feature has also been very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Not much. We are currently working with consultants to make functional and efficiency improvements but that is expected with any software.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing our reporting and analytics. The flexibility of the input sheets and setting up accounts/attributes has really streamlined our reporting.

  ### 42. Insights with Adaptive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew B. | Financial Accounting Manager, Law Practice, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2017

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Ease of use, regular updates, inferface is very intuitive. The application is very scaleable as our business has grown, and can deal with our international footprint well through FX reporting. The Excel Add-In is also a great touch as some users still prefer to edit data in this way.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Nothing - the product is regularly updated each year so there is always new functionality being added.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Go for it. Adaptive is a great product, you just need to make sure you have clearly documented how your current model is working and built up before you start the implementation process. That said, it is still very easy to modify things to add new functionality beyond the initial implementation.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration around budgets and forecasting, assisting with reducing time taken for month end close (from plus 15 days using old Excel models to now 1 - 2 days with Adaptive). The product also deals with reporting restructures well, as the level hierarchy in the model is very flexible and can be tagged with many different dimensions and attributes. What-if scenario planning is also very easy as budget versions can be instantly copied and modified to show the impact of flexing certain model variables. Constant currency reporting is also available, or being able to show the data with any set of FX rates (ie - what if prior year actuals were restated at current year budget rates etc).

  ### 43. Great service, even greater potential

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | Senior Financial Analyst, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2017

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The tool itself is very quick with updating and there are many features that allow you to check your work along the way (sheets, formula validation, etc.) I also like the ability to version control,; by creating new versions during crucial parts of the budget process, it allows us to reference prior submissions and be more smart about finding variances between what we are submitting and what we submitted.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The planning tools are poor and are difficult to effectively utilize without the ability to upload data. Planning also seems very counter-productive in Adaptive since it requires you to view the income statement of the smallest department in every single hierarchy. By requiring that, it essentially precludes the user from doing a top-down forecasting approach, which a lot of start-up companies end up doing. Additionally, Office Connect has an abysmal time integrating with Excel, and often slows down or crashes the program entirely. I think it would behoove Adaptive to try and emulate what Hyperion is doing with their Microsoft Excel add-in.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

Enhance OfficeConnect:
One of the worst parts about Adaptive is the integration between Adaptive and Excel. Since most companies operate primarily within Excel, it is difficult to get many tasks done seamlessly without having some manual intervention between exporting out of Adaptive and into Excel.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 - Automated reporting
 - Department heads are inputting their own budgets
 - Accountability across departments
 - Quick and easy month close variance analysis

  ### 44. Adaptive Insights is an amazing product for budget development and management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2019

**Describe the project or task Workday Adaptive Planning helped with:**

This software was the first I'd used to create and manipulate a large scale budget, and it was incredibly easy once you learn how to navigate within the system.

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The system design is pretty straightforward

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Depending on the size of the budget/org structure, it can get confusing in terms of finding certain accounts and aligning various payments.

  ### 45. Making Planning Active

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben G. | Financial Analyst, Consumer Goods, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2017

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Structure of levels/departments so that all managers have specific places to add their business needs. Ability to link separate planning models together to create a complete plan. Relating to the budget manager/user is key. If planning by GL account doesn't make sense for the user then it is nice to build them a separate model that represents their business and then allow Adaptive to pull the needed information together for finance.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Reports - they allow the building/modifying of reports but when you are needing each user to modify the reports with notes you are also giving them access to modifying how the report is run. It would be nice to see some added permissions for report building vs. modifying vs. editing notes.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One source of budget/forecast truth. Keeping everyone engaged throughout minimizes the time spent on the back end on planning.

  ### 46. Arrive Adaptive

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lenny L. | Senior Business Analyst, Hospital & Health Care, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2016

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

What I like the best are setup of the system and consolidation of the cloud. It provides the understandable concept of construction the tool which is helpful with the customization of the business process.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

For now, two perspectives I dislike during the implementation: 1) unable to manage the same setting of the accounts all at once, e.g. read only functionality; 2) formula testing is not easy.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

1) single source of truth; 2) quality of the information consolidation.
Adaptive insights will improve the quality of the planning data, provide the variety of the reporting, and optimize the business process. Before implementation, need to understand the business process thoroughly and evaluate the process over at least one cycle to discover as many challenges as possible. prioritized the possible solutions in terms of source of data, methods of inputs, format of outputs and consolidation of information. So as to manage the user expectation properly.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly on two areas: 1) single source of truth; 2) quality of the information consolidation. I realized that Adaptive insights will improve the quality of the planning data, provide the variety of the reporting, and optimize the business process.

  ### 47. Adaptive vastly improves FP&A Proces

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve P. | Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2017

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

I like the ability to be able to drill into detail, whether it be general ledger detail or in our case job detail, to see what actually makes up the numbers the reports are showing. The ability to plan our SG&A, personnel, and R&P model all in one technologically advanced place allows for a much smoother planning and forecasting process. Adaptive allows us the ability to provide information to senior management that was not as easy to provide as before

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The amount of maintenance Adaptive takes to keep things running accurately on a monthly basis. Being a construction company we have a project based organization where our 'structure' is constantly changing. New jobs are opening, jobs are closing. It is quite the hassle to keep our job reporting up to date on a monthly basis.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a very manual plan/forecasting process before that used numerous different excel workbooks and links. Adaptive has allowed us to streamline this process and keep our plans/forecast "live" as we are assembling them.

  ### 48. Adaptive is the future of financial planning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The quick integration and user friendly interface

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

some of the formula writing is quite complex without additional training and resources purchased.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Revenue planning/forecasting, Department budgeting, and Reporting.

  ### 49. Fantastic Product And Vendor Support, But Invest The Time And Resources

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Philanthropy | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2017

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The flexibility offered by this product is amazing, it allows you to build a model that suits your business needs. Regardless of HOW you do business, Adaptive supports this as you create your own structure, custom accounts, and cost drivers, and then consolidate the data to reports and dashboards,

Implementing Adaptive for our budgeting was a game changer, it put the data in the hands of the budget owners. As budgets changed throughout the iterative process, we knew that we were always looking at the most up-to-date version by running a single report - no more manual reconciliations / updates.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Because the software is so flexible, you have to be very careful when creating formulas and building reports that you are capturing all of the information. While it is easy to segment a particular set of data, it is also easy to leave that out if you do not understand the structure and connections within the various moving pieces. Take the time to plan your organization and account structure, and really take the time to understand it, and you will be fine.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Adaptive Planning:**

If you can, meet some customers in your industry who use Adaptive already. Now, we are in contact with another organization who went live before we did, and we have helped each other to build tools and reports and address challenges that apply to both companies. It would have been great to learn about some of the challenges up front and how we could have addressed some of the shortcomings of our other software, or with a change to our configuration before implementing. And again, take the time to first review your financial planning and reporting processes and figure out how you can improve them using the new system, rather than trying to fit Adaptive to your "current state".

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have gained major efficiencies in our annual budget process - cutting down time spent consolidating budgets or getting the data in to the right format for different stakeholders. This allows our Finance team to spend more time on analysis and strategy than data entry. In addition, with the ability to have different versions, we have moved to a more frequent forecasting schedule, which allows us to keep a better eye on how we are tracking and manage risk.

  ### 50. Not as user friendly as I would like it to be.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessalyn K. | Administrative Specialist, Political Organization, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

The attractive features are the ability to share reports. One of our most frequently used reports is the monthly financials by department. It allows us to view the actuals monthly vs. your budget.

**What do you dislike about Workday Adaptive Planning?**

Clicking on the actuals from the reports, it is a struggle to view the transactions each time. In addition, the filter feature does not work well. I hate not having the ability to use my back button on IE.

**What problems is Workday Adaptive Planning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We went from Great Plains to this program.
