There are a lot of thing to like about the platform, but by example of this are all connections and endpoint you can use and possibilities to perform, the mapping so customizable you can do, easy to handle and monitor all data and processes, also you can store and send tons of data per second without more than one pipeline. Also the ultra pipelines which we are actually using are so useful to keep reading idocs from API or SAP by example, so the tool is so complete and big to be used Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

sometimes the nodes get down but nothing to be worry about because is more related with the procceses itself, other thing and is a security thing, the developers have no access to move pipelines thru environments and should be like a submit request inside the tool, because we need to ask to the admins to move our pipelines but by other side is great to have taht utility to have everything secure and separate with folders and limited to be used Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the explanations in the videos were clear and very complete. It helped me a lot to start with simple examples, and then do more complicated tasks. It has examples and it is quite didactic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There were a couple of practice files that I couldn't open because the link was corrupted .

And at the end of the couse i had to view quickly the videos becauseI consider that it is a short time to see all the videos in detail, especially for someone who does not speak English natively like me and sometimes I had to watch a class several times to understand because of the language. Ability to use and modify multiple files from databases, spreadsheets and emails. I was able to automate work that would have taken 10 hours in less than an hour. We use additional tools to create the files, and we use Snaplogic to send the emails, which are personalized, have a standard copy, and have an attached file relevant to the customer. Occasionally when sending over 100 emails, the program would run out of memory and we would have to resend those emails individually. Changing the way we ran the processes was able to remedy this, and it was able to run without problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

SnapLogic makes automation both easy and fun. The intuitive interface allows for beginners to get into the system and start building the blocks of process automation step by step in a logical and intuitive manner. SnapLogic empowers business users to automate processes quickly with their current knowledge of the information/material where they won't have to engage IT in a lengthy (and at times, expensive) process to get automated data feeds or file outputs. At times there will be errors that are thrown that give little insight into which part of a snap isn't working as it should and the recommendations can be unhelpful. These are generally easy enough to figure out, but if the error output was a bit more clear that would be a fantastic improvement! It would also be able to "mass disable/enable" snaps (i.e. do more than one at a time when I want to quickly disable a part of the pipeline to see how the rest of it is running). CICD deployments not very flexible. Example - deployment of just one pipeline that needs to be updated in a project which has many others is not straight forward - we end up deploying the whole project again. There is a good amount of discover that is needed to get the Org-Snaplex-Environment-Project space and Project relationship in terms of deployment before things get streamlined.

Report Automation! This is a MUST have for any team that wants to send automated reports.

Updating metrics that don't come through another solution. If you need to get data into a larger data set, Snap is the best (only?) way to do it cleanly.

Simple interface. You don't need to be a developer to learn and understand Snap pipelines.

Easy pipeline with simple drag and drop snaps to do the transforming

There is nothing to be dislike i can mention here.

Your underlying data to snap into a different solution (SQL) must be VERY clean, or pipelines break. I expect this, but it would be great if you could adjust columns without breaking a pipeline.

The installation process is vague, and our customers have issues with using Java for security reasons. If they had an install package that could fix that it would be less of an issue.

They could make it more convenient to use on the web browser, if I was working on a customer in the Manager I don't want to have to navigate to keep going back to that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to develop in short time, more connectors, wide application connectivity, easy automation , more dynamic features availability . easy migration, api integration was quite easy compare to other tools like talend. code repository in one place no need to pull code outside. faster search of components. wide administration , monitoring APIS. easy integration of other applications like tidal. no clear indication of IF ..ELSE feature, felt hard for dimensional model data population, not seen partition concept for better/parallel processing. Few snaps make data not to pass through mainly for DML activity snaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use in creating the pipelines. Relatively easy to learn if you are familiar with traditional programming languages such as Perl, C++, Python, etc. Also if you get in trouble, there is a very quick response from their help desk. My colleagues and I attended a one week in-house training session. I heartily recommend that this is the 1st step. Our instructor left with us the pipelines that we learned in class, so that made it easy to refer back to once we began our own projects. The collection of functions in the Snaps provided make it easy to configure the pipelines desired. In particular, the Mapper Snap has tremendous capabilities in shaping the data or applying functions of all types to achieve the variables that you need. The dashboard is taking a lot of time to refresh. Per example If I wan't to check the executions for 1 month ago, it will need a lot of time to query the results and it has possibility to crash and don't show the wanted executions. - The data processing resources can be easily distributed and scaled up or down, either through cloud based processing capabilities, or customer provided computing resources.

- A working integration doesn't require extensive programming skills (a low-code approach), and can be developed rather quickly.

- There are great many ready-to-use components for integration between various endpoints of all the major vendors.

- SnapLogic makes it very easy to expose APIs to use the platform in its ESB capacity.

- The platform can be extended with custom developed components, which are coded in Java.

- The platform has a very robust and user-friendly process monitoring capabilities. These capabilities make it easy to monitor the executions of the integrations, perform analysis and debug the hick-ups in the executions.

You have to have an active internet connection in order to use and work with the product. You can only develop the integrations through the interface available in a web browser. It is a simple drag and drop integration with a simple idea of your business flow managed by the pieces of snap within to facilitate your desirability.

An easy management and monitoring of your servers w.r.t to the Memory , CPU and running processes , which has further helped understand the issue on own with quicker tracing and debugging .

Some of the issues I have constantly raising in terms of some memory issue within the snaps, forcing a frequent manual restarts of our groundplex without even much to use on these servers.

It is sometimes faster to try and see what works best before you could get the right person from the Snaplogic to explain or understand the growing use of your functionility .

A frequent forced release even if you have a stable system integrated with the previous release and do not want to upgrade , with an added testing and evaluation to be put in terms of your resources is another of its downsides that i experienced in my usages. UI need to be more flexible and User security cache creates problem. Add and delete user response in UI creates issue. Sometime it doesnt reflect properly. After adding user to Snaplogic sometime they able to see access in Designer for any project space but not in Manager or vice versa. Need to get solution for it for better result. SnapLogic has trouble connecting to certain external sources that it has specific snaps for which is frustrating.
