**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

Sometimes the module versions gets in conflict with other modules for the same vendor, for example with exchange online.

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automation scripts for deploying new users on organization and also the deactivation of accounts

  ### 2. Microsoft Graph is really a powerful API.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aakash K. | Senior Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Graph?**

Microsoft Graph is widely appreciated for its unified API endpoint, which simplifies access to a broad range of Microsoft 365 services like Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Its ability to seamlessly connect data across services and provide real-time insights makes it a favorite for developers building productivity and collaboration tools. Customer support is really good and its easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

Complexity of the API structure, Limited documentation depth and rate limiting.

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft Graph solves the challenge of integrating and managing data across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem by providing a single API endpoint to access resources like emails, files, calendars, Teams chats, and user data.

  ### 3. One API to rule them all

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomasz J. | Senior .NET Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Microsoft Graph?**

I like how simple it is to start, how easy it is to set up permissions, and how fast it was to integrate Graph into my software.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

The API is simple when you want simple things, but everything gets more complex with advanced things.
It was hard to find good examples and up-to-date documentation. Even StackOverflow questions were left without answers

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had to migrate the on-premise mail service that was using Exchange to Azure and had to use Outlook, so my only option was to move from old APi to Graph.
It was mostly a smooth process, although at the time there weren't many examples and the Graph API was rapidly changing.

  ### 4. Unlimited communication with Microsoft Graph

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik C. | Innovation Engineer, Industrial Automation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Microsoft Graph?**

The best part of Microsoft Graph is its environment that allows you to develop many APIs and communicate without limits, extracting and publishing information from your Microsoft products to other external applications, always ensuring the security with which it is used. It has no limits.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

At first, it can be very confusing how to configure Microsoft Graph because if you are not an administrator of the organization using Microsoft licensed products, you may have limitations, and there is no official tutorial explaining how to use it.

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solve in my organization the way many departments use Microsoft products, where thousands of data are stored, and how I can use that data to enrich business intelligence by exposing them in work indicators for greater exploitation, thereby solving problems for work teams.

  ### 5. Well defined Microsoft integration API's

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshdeep S. | Mid- Level ASP.Net Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Microsoft Graph?**

I am using Microsoft graph for email integration in my web project. The documentation is well defined that you can grab the things very easily. Ms graph also provides sample API to interact and see how things works. Api's are written in rest and have handled the status code very well like success, unauthorised, too many requests. The Odata structure is also implemented which makes the application request generic. For email integration, it issue primary and secondary token. Primary token is valid for 1 hour. It can be regenerated with secondary token

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

There are few limitations i have seen in attachment api with filters. Also there are other flaws with filters api like you can't put date range filter with contains. The filter doesn't work with attachments.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Graph:**

Very much recommend

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Email integration
Email read, write, send, attachment upload download etc

  ### 6. Great API tool

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Microsoft Graph?**

Represent large size data using graphical presentation

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

Nothing that I can think of. Or I think its the ease of use

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

incorporating data from other services and presenting visually

  ### 7. Lack of API support.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yusuf D. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Graph?**

Microsoft Graph provides support for all Microsoft products, you can integrate with any product. It provides all the basic functionalities one would need to integrate with there software. API's are available for almost all the microsoft products. It would be good if microsoft can extend its support for more API's and that will make our life more easy. Graph API's are really easy to use and integrate. Overall experince is good.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

Lack of support for few basic operations, specially MS Excel. There must be extended support for table operations, specifically for table sort and search. For Outlook Mail sending attachment on fly is not supported. There are some issues with MS graph log in too.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Graph:**

It provides all the basic functionalities one would need to integrate with there software. API's are available for almost all the microsoft products. It would be good if microsoft can extend its support for more API's and that will make our life more easy. Graph API's are really easy to use and integrate. But there are some log in related issues on Microsoft Graph. Overall experince is good.

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am integrating Online Excel with my project, there is support for most of the operations , but still more API support is required.

  ### 8. Importance of Microsoft Graph in business

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Graph?**

It serves as a gateway to connect to the services, data and intelligence by its company. It provides an easy means to perform data operations which provides protection and better access management to the data.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

Some horizontal capability. I.e Web hooks may be available in preview before its available in Microsoft Graph,.This is due to Microsoft Graph API being a newer endpoint compared to the individual service endpoints.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Graph:**

As long as it has the features / APIS you need in production to support your production apps or at least in preview to support app development. Thus making it easy for you in the future to expand your app functionality requiring access to multiple Microsoft services without changing endpoints.

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security. Connecting the diverse ecosystem of security solutions to improve the speed and accuracy .
Benefits : Demonstrate real-time data charts for better visualisation.

  ### 9. Microsoft Graph: Helping you connect with the rest

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wilfred P. | Team Lead, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Graph?**

What I like about Microsoft Graph is it helps you organize all of your daily tasks not just for today but for the coming days ahead. It can help you prepare for your meeting days ahead by scanning your calendar and suggest the best time for your meeting. It can also be integrated to your Excel Spreadsheets saved on your OneDrive for all those data that you need to pull up right away. Aside from that, currently, Graph Explorer allows global admins to manipulate teams they are not an owner or member of, but other apps attempting to make the same API calls will fail if the current user is not a member or owner of the team.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

Microsoft Graph supports most of the directory features that Azure AD Graph supports, but not all. In some cases, Microsoft Graph supports functionality that is not in Azure AD Graph such as the ability to make projection queries, open extensions, Office 365 groups and much more. There are also some things that I dislike about the features of the Microsoft Graph. Sometimes there are missing teams in the list of all teams that were created in the past but haven't been used recently by a Microsoft Teams user.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Graph:**

Microsoft offers services and solutions that expand modern work and modern life. As a developer, you can use the Microsoft Graph API to build applications that connect to the millions of users that use Microsoft cloud products for work, school, and personal productivity. Use Microsoft Graph to reach users and organizations that have licenses to Microsoft 365 services for business, enterprise or education.

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Usually, we are having a hard time tracking the activities of our employees. Microsoft Graph helped us gather data about the employees and their department, including information about how they work and how they collaborate with each other. In that way, we were able to manage their time properly in a way that they can all work efficiently.

  ### 10. Good software to assess business metrics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sunil P. | Associate Partner, Renewables & Environment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft Graph?**

Microsoft Graph is a wholesome tool for data compilation and analysis to document and analyze metrics. The simple design of the software is of great assistance to individuals who have just been acquainted with different graphical representation tools. Apart from this, the data export feature of the software is highly valuable to design presentation slides.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

The accessibility of the software across diverse platforms is not great. One needs to have a Microsoft account to access all of the features of the software. Software compatibility and performance on non-Microsoft devices is questionable. Some minor upgrades could easily address this issue to enhance performance.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Graph:**

I would recommend people to use Microsoft Graph to start learning about logging data and compiling key performance metrics. Although, better options might be available to those working in a larger institution, the level of complexity would also be higher. Hence, this is just the right program for newbies. As most people have a Microsoft account these days, accessibility would not be an issue,

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As I am a business owner, I routinely use this software to compile data and log key metrics. I am very comfortable using this software as I have basic understanding of graphs and this is just the right level of interface I require.

**What do you like best about Microsoft Graph?**

I like the broad reach of the program. It's able to easily incorporate data from the other services the team uses across other platforms (Office 365, Security services, Azure, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Graph?**

It's not very well-known or necessarily very simple to use, but that also seems a given seeing its wide range of capabilities with the sheer amount of data it gathers.

**What problems is Microsoft Graph solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the most recent project I've worked on, we've been able to see which programs and documents were most popular during our development of apps and used that data to know which to focus on for training and teaching purposes.

I used it while working on a powerpoint presentation at a local business.

Microsoft Graph is a great program to use for visual learners and to see a different insfrastructure for work flow management in an office.
