"Powerful Real-Time Analytics, Challenging Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?

I like SAP HANA Cloud’s high-performance in-memory processing and flexibility. It gives me fast access to large volumes of data and supports real-time analytics that help businesses make better decisions. I also appreciate its cloud-based architecture, scalability, and integration with SAP BTP and other SAP solutions. Its support for SQL, advanced data modeling, and application development makes it valuable for building modern, data-driven enterprise applications. Provisioning through SAP BTP is convenient, and once the initial setup is complete, managing and working with the database becomes much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?

I find the learning curve challenging, especially for developers new to cloud databases. Initial configuration, database connectivity, user permissions, and integrating with other SAP services can be complex and take time. Cost management and monitoring resource consumption could be more intuitive, and troubleshooting performance issues and understanding error messages could be simpler. I’d like a more beginner-friendly interface, better documentation and practical tutorials, and improved debugging and performance monitoring tools with clearer error messages and actionable suggestions. Better integration with Eclipse ADT, SAP Business Application Studio, and SAP BTP development workflows would also make SAP HANA Cloud easier to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Transactions, But Time-Intensive Setup"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?

I like that SAP HANA Cloud allows us to use everything in one tool. It displays the purchasing order, which is something I appreciate. We were able to customize some analytics tools in our system, which adds to the flexibility. The ability to complete transactions in five to ten minutes at most, compared to our previous tool which took a lot longer, is a significant improvement. We've become accustomed to the system within a month, and now, after using it for approximately one and a half years, it's smooth sailing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?

It's a bit annoying and very time-consuming compared to the previous ERP systems. It's okay, but just very time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Data Integration and Scalability"
4.5/5
What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?

I like that SAP HANA Cloud serves as a centralized repository for data, which makes it easy to move data to warehouses and integrate using CSV format. I appreciate that once integration and a proper setup are done, the process feels very formal. The introduction of the cloud has made integration easier and more reliable, not limited to a specific region, and it's pretty fast as well. The initial setup was pretty much straightforward, and it's great for creating environments quickly allowing more control. I'll definitely recommend it if you have a very big enterprise data and want perfection, as you won't have to worry about data consistency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?

I find there's less customization with SAP HANA Cloud. It used to be more on-premises, which was less reliable for integration, in terms of mindset. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Structured, Reliable, but Complex for New Users"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?

I appreciate that SAP HANA Cloud is structured and reliable for daily finance operations activities. It gives me confidence in the accuracy of the data, which is crucial when dealing with invoice postings. I also like the integration with other processes, such as the payments team and procurement team, which makes the overall workflow more efficient. The integration helps a lot in my daily work because different processes are connected, allowing me to refer to purchase orders and related data directly in the system, reducing the need to check multiple sources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?

One area as per my experience can be improved is the ease of use for new users. The system is a bit complex because there are many fields and steps, and it may take time to be comfortable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Sub-Second In-Memory Analytics That Slashes Latency"
5/5
What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?

What I find most impressive is the in-memory processing capability. Handling massive datasets that used to take minutes to query now happens in sub-seconds. This real-time data processing has significantly reduced our latency issues, allowing our team to run complex analytics without having to wait for overnight batch jobs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?

The pricing model can be quite complex to navigate, making it difficult to predict monthly costs as data volume grows. Additionally, while powerful, the steep learning curve for junior developers means that onboarding new team members takes longer than it would with more traditional SQL databases Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Supply Chain Management, Needs Better Data Handling"
4/5
What do you like best about SAP HANA Cloud?

I have used SAP HANA Cloud in my supply chain operations, and its ability to handle huge data sets is commendable, which helps me make important decisions and saves me a lot of time. The system can automatically raise purchase orders based on demand or my inventory levels, which is crucial to prevent stock outs of critical items, save the company’s reputation, and maintain service levels. The initial setup was easy, needing just some time to train people for complete adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SAP HANA Cloud?

I think it can not hold massive data sets. It has some limits. I think it can work on its memory because usually companies have massive data sets and they want to preserve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
