I can pretty much do anything I want in terms of data extraction and refinement. Source platforms limitations sometimes make it a bit hard to complete tasks, but you can always find a workaround for that using Workato. I love having access to older versions and different types of webhooks. That makes work much easier and productive. Lastly, I like using datapills when building a recipe and having access to so many formulas. This helps to format the data before sending it to the target platform. **What do you dislike about Workato?** If I need to find specific records in the past jobs, I cannot search all jobs. I need to know exactly the time when the record was processed in Workato to find the right job to get access to the data. **What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using Workato to transfer data from many different source platforms into our marketing automation platform. All the source platforms are using different formats and different ways to send data, so Workato helps us to format everything in a way, that is aligned with the target platform. We can test data before shifting to production. Workato can handle large volumes of data. It's been a fantastic upgrade for our client solutions. I like how it handles whatever we throw at it - from super simple data transfers to complex integrations where we've added custom code. The platform gives us a ton of flexibility when connecting different systems together, which is crucial since each client has unique needs. After setup, integrations are rock solid - no more worrying about connections dropping or data getting lost. For our team building custom solutions across many industries, this reliability has been a huge win. We're currently supporting millions of transactions a year using the Workato platform. Once understood, implementations are smooth and reliable. We've not needed to leverage customer support. The documentation is straightforward and robust. **What do you dislike about Workato?** The pricing model can be challenging to navigate, particularly understanding how usage is calculated and billed. The ability to connect my very focused multimedia asset management tools via APIs and webhooks is super useful. I am a post production project manager and we have a number of systems that need to be connected to enable our remote users to get their work done. A lot of what's involved is sharing links to videos, updating google sheets and updating Monday.com boards - often with the same information. We are almost finished designing a system where both the google sheets and Monday boards are kept in sync via Workato recipes that map the data by column, and in some cases the changes to the google sheet are automatically triggered by events in our Media Access Management system - via webhooks and another recipe. Workato is making it easy for us to transform the RAW json data coming from the webhook into actionable data for google sheets, then remap that data to the columns and sync it to Monday.com! **What do you dislike about Workato?** The learning curve was pretty steep, but starting with a simple recipe helped. Initially I found the error handling logic difficult to get my head around. But a combination of using AI helpers and support from Workato developers allowed me to understand its importance. From there I was able to move onto more complicated data transformation recipes and build my own error handling into it. **What problems is Workato solving and how is that benefiting you?** Workato helped me to work out how to use webhooks to trigger workflows (which I don't use that often). Previously I have used tools like IFTTT but I progressed pretty quickly from the simple logic that they provided. Workato has all these great data transformation features that helped me to shift data around and map differing fields so they play nice together. A great example was connecting Monday.com boards to google sheets and automatically updating column data based on changes - in both directions. Additionally you don't have to worry about secret management as everything is securely stored and cannot be read from other users. Furthermore the service is advancing more and more giving even more options to get the most out of the different services we use. Workato is really listening to customer feedback which is great to see. **What do you dislike about Workato?** I would say that Workato can still improve on making the service easier to use for people who have no understanding about data processing and scripting. Using Workato support has been a big comfort - the staff is supportive and polite. **What do you dislike about Workato?** Sometimes when new features arrive on an existing connection, it interrupts or fails old integrations and requires their update without notice.
