Recommendations to others considering FedEx Ship Manager: FedEx Ship Manager is an easy way to manage the purchase and printing of shipping labels and scheduling package pickup in one place. The pickup management gives you the opportunity to set a specific window of time for pickup that is mostly adhered to, though occasionally they will miss the window or arrive too early (before opening of business) or too late (after closing). My office has several moving parts, being a minor league sports affiliate, with paperwork and equipment being sent between affiliates and player moves necessitating players belongings needing to be shipped to their new team, equipment left behind during road trips or from visiting teams who missed items while packing, fedex ship manager allows us to get these items out through a multitude of services, from overnight, to ground, to freight. It’s easy to add an address book and create labels, and it’s my go-to place for all shipments. Since it’s free, it’s an easy choice for anyone who already has a FedEx account. Overall, it performs really well; you just need to stay on top of updates. As for integration, we currently don’t use that feature. I can manage everything from one place: setting up different users, controlling which shipping options they can use, and running reports to see exactly where our money is going. What do you dislike about FedEx Ship Manager? My main complaint is that it only shows FedEx rates. I can't easily compare prices with UPS or other carriers to ensure we're getting the best deal. This forces us to use other systems or do manual rate-shopping, which is a major inefficiency. I use FedEx Ship manager every day and it is one of the easiest programs to use for shipping. I have implemented the use of it with WooCommerce. It is so easy to use and opens the door for so many features with this integration. They also have excellent customer support, any issues I have had, are handled quickly and effectively. The only downsides I have found so far have been certain locations or options I have to go to other shipping solutions, but that is always the case no matter what. I found it to be easy to use once I got a hang of it. The help center is incredibly resourceful and always courteous. The platform itself is visually appealing. There are times when I have a package coming to my home, but I have to run to the store or office and am not sure if I will be able to receive it in time. I have used Fex Ex-manager many times to manage my deliveries to either have the package sent to my apartment complex office or held at a nearby fed ex location to ensure I get my package. The Fed ex-manager lets me adjust the delivery to avoid being left outside.
