## Younium Reviews
  ### 1. Great Billing Automation, but Insights and Reporting Need More Depth

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruan V. | Group Finance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

Billing automation and revenue completeness

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Insights could be better. The level of detail is quite limited.
I usually encounter bugs within the insights
The reports section could be be improved by making finance related reports reports available (for example and AR report). Point in time information is also not possible. For example, if I would like to see our AR at a historic point in time it is not possible to extract this detail. I need to extract two separate reports and adjust for these manually to get the desired output.
There is not an indexing feature available that allows use to apply annual standard index increases in an easy way.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It enables me to maintain accuracy of our revenue while also being able to keep all related information from order to cash in one place.
I also appreciate the custom fields functionality that allows us to obtain desired input for the purposes of our ERP (Netsuite). This makes integration more seamless.

  ### 2. Powerful Reporting, Excellent Support, But Complex Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mattias T. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I like that Younium has very deep report capabilities. Their support is really good, which is extremely valuable because it's a complex system and helps me use it effectively. I also like the UI.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Since it is a very deep system, it takes a while to onboard new users in the system. It can be a bit challenging to set up the payment plan correctly. There are many dates and many fields to keep in mind in order to get the outcome you desire. It was quite difficult in the beginning because we didn't have a good view of the complexity of the system. When we imported our payment plans for the first time, there were a bit of issues with the dates of the payment plans.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium for invoice creation, tracking MRR, basis for bookkeeping, and ensuring customers are billed for exact usage.

  ### 3. Effortless Subscription Management, Sensible Built-in Processes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ole Henrik H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I like the built-in processes of Younium that just make sense and the great UI. I appreciate that they are developing new features a lot these days, listening to feedback, and putting customers in contact with core product developers. The initial setup was quite easy, which was helpful.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

I don't dislike anything about the system itself. It has some minor weaknesses, but the team in Younium are on top of these. But, if they could have standard ERP connectors built in, it would help us quite a lot. We are relying on third party solutions now, which has caused some problems. If Younium had built it themselves, they would know the validation rules and logic behind on another level than a third party.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Younium handles everything on subscriptions: registering new ones, tracking renewals, providing a basis for upsales, invoicing, and yearly price adjustments.

  ### 4. Clean UI and Easy Reporting, But KPI Definitions and Report Reuse Need Work

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

The interface is clean, and I like how easy it is to see what customers are paying and get a clear overview whenever I need it. Pulling reports is straightforward, and I can find the information quickly without having to dig around too much.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

One downside is that you can’t use “save as” for reports, which makes it harder to reuse them when you only need slightly modified versions. I’m also not fully used to the new Insights yet, so I tend to fall back on the old version. Another gap is the lack of clear KPI definitions: beyond the short descriptions provided, I’d like to understand exactly how each KPI is calculated and which sources the data comes from.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making it easy to see what each customer is paying and all historic changes. It saves time when I need to check details or pull reports, and reduces the risk of misunderstandings around contracts and invoices. .

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thanks a lot for your review! Great to hear you appreciate the clean interface and how easy it is to get a clear overview of what customers are paying and pull reports quickly.

Your feedback on report reuse (“save as”), clearer KPI definitions, and getting more comfortable with the new Insights has been passed on to our product team for review. We appreciate the detailed input!

Thanks again for sharing! Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or feedback.

  ### 5. Easy, powerful and robust Invoice Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas S. | Head of Product, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I enjoy using Younium for order management and invoice creation, as it significantly eases the process that would otherwise be cumbersome without such a solution. The robustness of Younium is something I appreciate, as we encounter very few issues, ensuring a reliable experience. Additionally, the intuitive nature of Younium makes it approachable even for someone like me who is not a trained economist, highlighting its user-friendly design. The workflow is highly efficient, accommodating the large volume of invoices we send and the numerous orders that need tracking, which enhances our overall productivity. Moreover, the initial setup, despite its complexity due to the numerous configuration options, was made simple with the assistance of Younium's competent customer service team, facilitating a smooth transition.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

I haven't been able to take full advantage of the insights part of Younium because it's too hard to validate numbers and fix them when they don't add up for different reasons.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium to efficiently manage order tracking and invoice creation, streamlining what would otherwise be a hassle. The software's robust and user-friendly design supports quick workflows, even for non-economists, enhancing our operational efficiency.

  ### 6. Flexible Subscription Management with Some Setup Hurdles

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Geir J. | Customer Service Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I really like that Younium is very flexible and has a lot of features that can be tailored to our needs. I also think the Insights functionality is very useful, along with the possibility to create custom fields.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

What we find a little bit difficult is the complexity around orders and change orders, and how the dates are influencing the charges. Also, the initial setup was a little bit complex with CSV templates for importing products and charges.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium to manage our subscription orders and send invoices to our ERP. It gives me a good overview of contracts and forecasts for recurring revenue.

  ### 7. Needs Clearer Subscription Overview and More User-Friendly Invoice Templates

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

The reporting is great. It's really nice to be able to create reports for many different variables (literally so many options).
Creating a subscription is very easy.
Sharing the platform to diffierent users is very easy, and it's great that we can create different user types with different access points.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

There is a lack of clarity as to what line items are active for a client if you use a product and not all items are used. You then need to have a lot of "0s" in your subscription overview.
Creating templates (Invoices/reminders) etc, is not user friendly.
It would be nice to be able to change the start date of an order without having to change each line item individually.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Subscription adjustments. We struggled to be able to adjust subscriptions and have flexibility in our previous ERP.

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thanks a lot for your review! Great to hear you’re enjoying the reporting flexibility, how easy it is to create subscriptions, and the ability to manage different user roles and access levels.

Your feedback on clearer visibility of active line items, improving the template creation experience, and making it easier to adjust order start dates has been passed on to our product team for review. We appreciate the detailed input!

Thanks again for sharing!

  ### 8. Powerful Subscription Management software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas A. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Younium?**

Great platform and an awesome onboarding experience with experts that went that extra mile to help you set everything up. Support is really helpful whenever you have a use case that you haven't encountered before. We have found the insight feature to be a great way of understanding our business and customers. Multiple integration opportunities to make your processes much easier to manage.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Would enhance the insights module to capture more information that is available.
Payment method has a rigid setup, and would benefit from a more flexible configuration that enables several bank accounts, even though the bank connection only retrieves one account.
Missing to have our customer success based in Sweden, and understanding Swedish accounting rules, to better help guide in configuration and what modules actually would support the company at the current stage, and what could be added on later as company matures.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collecting all your subscriptions in one place, with all necessary information that otherwise would sit in an excel sheet and difficult to manage. Instead Younium makes all that data coherent and easy to administrate.

  ### 9. Seamless Contract Management with Integration Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mario Z. | Customer Succes Manager, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I really like that Younium provides detailed insights about customers' contracts and renewals, which is very helpful. Another aspect I like is that it's very nice how you can connect it with HubSpot and other tools, making things very handy. This integration gives me lots of insights and makes switching between applications smart and fast. These features help a lot and enhance the overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

I don't really much like having to switch between the applications.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium to get insights about customers' contracts and renewals, managing all the contracts, projects, and renewals efficiently.

  ### 10. Intuitive and Efficient, Younium Simplifies Subscriber Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruben S. | Solution Architect

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I find Younium intuitive and easy to use, which is important for efficiency. I don't want to spend time clicking and navigating to fetch customer info, and that's why I like Younium. We've also integrated Younium with our internal systems and HubSpot, and it works really well. I heard from the team that set it up that it was easier than expected. I'm really happy with Younium, and I'd rate it a 9 to leave room for improvement.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

I'd perhaps appreciate if overview of invoices on a client could be displayed in a bigger overview, so I can easily compare invoices over time or see the evolution a customer has in MRR

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium for managing our subscribers and getting an overview of our customer base, like their payments, transaction volumes, and reseller partners.

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thanks a lot for your review! Happy to hear that you find Younium intuitive and easy to work with, and that the integrations with your internal systems and HubSpot are running smoothly. Great to know the setup process went well too!

**Reviewed by:** Tom L. | Revenue Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

I like that I can create reports based on different filters that I need for my work. I also appreciate that Younium is in English. It helps me keep track of uninvoiced orders or orders that need to be corrected.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

I think that there are many clicks needed back and forward when I start invoicing a new order and it takes a lot of time. I wasn't in the team when they changed the system but I heard that it was very challenging and hard.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium to register clients, create invoices, and manage sales orders, keeping track of uninvoiced or incorrect orders. I like creating reports with different filters for my work.

**Reviewed by:** Karl Henry M. | Solution Architect

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I really appreciate the ease of getting a good overview of customer payments and historic payments with Younium. It makes billing straightforward and the reporting tools are easy to use. I also like that the initial setup was easy. Moreover, the people at Younium, especially Viktor, are great to work with.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

I find that Younium could be improved with a 'live' page for customers, invoices, and ARR, like a Power BI dashboard. This feature would make it easier to keep track of things and could even include alerts for bad or lower payments.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium to check customer payments easily. It gives me a good overview of payments, billing, and historic data, making reporting straightforward. The setup was easy.

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

**What do you like best about Younium?**

It’s an easy platform for invoicing, with plenty of options to choose from when creating invoices. The administrative side becomes much easier with Younium.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

The system can be slow at times, and it’s difficult to get a clear view of all the subscriptions.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It used to be really difficult to issue a credit note for a past period, but with Younium it’s now very easy to create and issue one. Invoicing became much easier.

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thanks a lot for your review! Great to hear that Younium is making invoicing easier for you and that you appreciate the flexibility and options available.

Your feedback on performance being slow at times and subscriptions being harder to get a full overview of has been passed on to our product team for review.

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I like Younium's great support; they answer my questions quickly and provide good answers. I also appreciate the flexibility in the product to make my own reports and the usefulness of the API for updating and pulling data to create good special reports.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

I would like to have the price adjustment logic more automated. Make something that we can set up a scheduled job to adjust certain charge plans on renewal.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium to handle invoicing and payments for 250k invoices yearly and manage different product lines with various billing structures, improving business efficiency with API logic.

  ### 18. Versatile and Efficient, Younium Exceeds Expectations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mattias P. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I like Younium because it is well-suited to our infrastructure and offers a combination of simplicity and power, making it ideal for our needs. Its simplicity ensures ease of use, while its robust capabilities provide the necessary insights for effective decision-making. I appreciate how Younium serves as a central hub, seamlessly connecting our CRM with our ERP, preventing any oversights in subscription invoicing, which is critical for our business operations. Additionally, the implementation process was straightforward, and the system's flexibility allowed it to adapt to our way of working - while receiving recommendations from a very competent implementatino manager along the way. Younium offers numerous features, settings, and customization options that are essential for our specific requirements, balancing flexibility with the necessary complexity needed for our company's processes.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

I find the flexibility in setting up dashboards with Younium to be a bit limited. The current structure isn't fixed, allowing for searches and various actions, but I would like to have the ability to save settings and create my own dashboards, which would be a fantastic addition. As a user of Younium for over 1,5 years we see that the platform evolves over time and I'm sure that it will continue to become even better over time.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Younium?**

The support team is highly responsive, and the onboarding process was handled quickly and efficiently. I really appreciate being able to access all of our key financial metrics instantly and track them over time—it’s truly impressive. The tool itself is very user-friendly, though at first, the number of fields and buttons can feel overwhelming. However, after using it for a few months, it becomes increasingly intuitive and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Maybe the filtering on the reports can still use some work, some additional ways of filtering could be added. And history tracking for custom fields would also be nice, but all in all, only things that can be improved over time, but not blocking issues at all.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Younium bridges the gap between our CRM and accounting tool. Previously, neither system could easily generate the reports we needed, so we had to rely on Excel to track our monthly metrics. Now, Younium handles this reporting for us.

  ### 20. Modern, Efficient, Yet Improvement Needed

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I genuinely appreciate how modern Younium feels, which likely enhances the overall user experience. The handling of merchant information and reports is particularly noteworthy, as it makes accessing and managing critical data much easier. Additionally, the process of invoicing our merchants for subscription and hardware fees has become more streamlined with Younium, which is a significant improvement over our previous system.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

{"The invoice periods should be open. This limitation might affect flexibility in handling different billing cycles or account adjustments that are necessary for managing merchant accounts effectively.","Invoicing could be made easier. Streamlining the invoicing process would save time and reduce the effort needed for billing tasks.","Younium should be connected to Visma bNets. This integration would enhance efficiency and could facilitate seamless data exchange between the systems, reducing manual data entry or errors.","The initial setup of Younium was a bit slow. A more expedient setup process would improve the user experience and help users get started with the system quickly."}

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to elaborate on any of these points.

  ### 22. Powerful Insights, and all-round solid Subscription Management Platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin A. | Board Member

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I really appreciate Younium for its powerful Insights feature, which allows me to analyze revenues from many different dimensions. This helps provide rich insights into the performance of my portfolio. The ease of managing upgrades and downgrades to orders is also a significant benefit. The initial setup experience wasn't too challenging, particularly with the modeling and mapping.

Switching between legal entities to view data can be frustrating. It would be best to have all legal entity view.

  ### 23. Great personalization, but search options feel limited

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

- I can personalise it (select own filters, select what I want to see)

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

- there's no general search field in which I can just type a name, account number, or beginning of an account name. This requires me to type everything in very specifically, but sometimes not everything is known by heard. So a search field for anything would be good

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's providing a great overview over our different accounts and the specifics of each of the orders which is making our admin-tasks more efficient and independent

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thanks a lot for your review!

Your feedback on the need for a more general search field has been passed on to our product team for review. Appreciate the input!

Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or feedback!

Additionally, I value that the platform is continuously developing and building more features, indicating a commitment to improvement and adaptability.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

I find that Younium could be more intuitive and offer a better user experience. Additionally, there are some nice-to-have features missing, such as the ability to add notes directly when making a change order.

  ### 25. Comprehensive Solution for Customer and Subscription Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Younium?**

Younium is a complete system for keeping track of your customers and their orders and subscriptions. It integrates with Salesforce and other finance products like in the netherlands we have Exact. We believe it can replace Exact as well being a full blown solution. Where finance uses it for invoices and R&D can use the API to create usage billing.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

It has a lot of functionality which is not needed. Total Contract Value gets messed up if you have discount in your product with an end date while the subscription doesn't have an end date.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have multiple products after many acquisitions, for us it makes it easier to administrate the subscriptions for these products in a single place and allow the creation of tracking by R&D using a very friendly API.

  ### 26. Flexible Platform That Simplifies Our Contract Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pieter M. | Business Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

The flexibility the platform offers us to do our contract management

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

The current live contracts on your other platform require a very detailed approach in terms of migration. Younium does not advise here unless specificly asked for this.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More accurate revenue recognition. Flexibility in changing contracts while they are live

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thanks a lot for your review! Great to hear you appreciate the flexibility Younium offers for contract management and that it’s supporting more accurate revenue recognition.

We also really appreciate your feedback on the migration process for live contracts. We understand that this can require a detailed approach, and your input has been shared with our team so we can improve guidance and support proactively.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

  ### 28. Holistic Subscription Master with Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I absolutely love how Younium serves as our master system for managing subscriptions, handling invoices, performing revenue recognition, and controlling access all in one place. It's incredibly solid, well-structured, and easy to understand, which makes it a joy to use daily. The holistic approach of Younium eliminates the need for any additional systems for tasks like revenue recognition, effectively replacing the need for multiple advanced spreadsheets, which is a significant efficiency boost. Integration with other tools such as Salesforce, Stripe, and our core product is seamless, further enhancing our workflow. Transitioning from spreadsheets to Younium, I found the setup relatively straightforward despite the challenges posed by our poor data quality. Most notable, perhaps, is the fact that despite requiring an adjustment period, which is typical for shifting from spreadsheets to a system-based approach, the platform's robust capabilities have thoroughly impressed me, earning it a perfect recommendation score of 10.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

When you get started, it is sometimes difficult to adjust to a new system-based approach coming from spreadsheets. However, that is true for every system.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium to handle subscription management, streamline invoice processing, and perform revenue recognition. It eliminates the need for multiple spreadsheets, centralizing our processes, and is structured, easy to understand, and holistic for our needs.

  ### 29. Flexible Invoicing with Easy Setup

Dashboard, is not very easy to understand

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium for invoicing, appreciating its flexibility in streamlining how and when we invoice, offering more flexible solutions with open APIs.

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thanks a lot for your review! Super happy to hear that Younium is working well for you and the setup process was smooth.

  ### 30. Intuitive Design, But Data Reliability Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Younium?**

It is a clean looking and fairly intuitive system. The support I got via Irina was very good with great communication on whats happening and quick responses.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Unfortunately I have issues relying on our own data. To often there is issues with the data and it's not right which takes a huge toll on my trust in what I see. The Younium team need to take ownership and be more proactive to make sure all our data is correct when it comes to Younium produced data.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my role it's the subscription management. Keeping track of our customers orders and make sure it's updated with their latest numbers

  ### 31. Great UI, but inconsistent views and non-copyable account/order numbers

**Reviewed by:** Mattias P. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

The UI, and ability to choose dark and white mode

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Invoicing customers

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

  ### 32. Seamless CRM Integration for Better Transparency and Overview

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

To be able to integrate with our other systems, for example CRM, so that we achieve transparency and the same level of overview in both systems.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

That it is not possible to have multiple billing addresses for the same company, which creates a large number of duplicates in both CRM and Younium. Also, that it is not possible to clone reports between entities.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Younium helps us manage subscription billing and invoicing more efficiently. It cuts down on manual work, reduces errors, and gives us stronger control and clearer visibility into our recurring revenue.

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with Younium and for your input! The feedback on multiple billing addresses and cloning reports between entities has been shared with our product team for further review.

Thanks again for sharing!

  ### 33. Streamlined Subscription Management with Powerful Insights

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam P.

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I find setting up Younium to be quite easy, especially given the complexities that come with subscription management. It's great that it efficiently addresses invoicing needs and manages subscription objects effectively. Younium has also started to excel in providing good reporting capabilities. Additionally, I value the new insight module, as it brings more depth and clarity to the data I handle. Moreover, the prospect of AI tools being developed within Younium is exciting and promising for future enhancements.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

nothing

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Younium solves invoicing and subscription management issues, providing reliable reporting and insights, and it's easy to set up.

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thank you so much for the review, Adam! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

  ### 34. Facilitates Customer Insights but Navigation Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christoffer H. | Business Developer

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I like how easy it is to see invoices and ARR/MRR with Younium.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

It could be easier to navigate.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Younium to check ARR and invoices, and it helps me know more about our customers, aiding in sales dialogues. It's easy to see invoices and ARR/MRR.

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thanks a lot for your review! Happy to hear that Younium makes it easy for you to get a clear overview of invoices and ARR/MRR, and that it’s supporting your sales dialogues with better customer insights.

  ### 35. Powerful, Comprehensive Reporting—But Service and Too Many Options Hold It Back

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Oil & Energy | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

It's incredibly comprehensive and powerful. Very difficult to break and makes pulling reports easy.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Service has often been poor, ultimately the solution is way too much data and options for our needs.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ARR tracking, helps give a source of truth

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thanks a lot for your review! Great to hear you find Younium comprehensive and powerful, and that it’s helping make reporting and ARR tracking easier with a solid source of truth.

We’re sorry to hear that the service experience hasn’t met expectations and that the platform can feel like too much data and complexity for your needs. Your feedback has been shared with our team so we can improve both the support experience and usability.

Thanks again for sharing! please feel free to reach out directly if you’d like to discuss this further.

  ### 36. Effortless Order Creation and Streamlined Administration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Younium?**

It's straightforward to create orders and manage administrative tasks, making the process simple and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Adjusting orders can be somewhat complicated, especially when dealing with dates. It becomes even more challenging if I need to make several changes to the same product.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use this to monitor orders and to assign tasks to our delivery department.

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thank you so much for the review! We really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

Your feedback around making order adjustments smoother and less complex has been passed on to our team.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like to share more details or examples of where it gets tricky.

  ### 37. Powerful Subscription Management, But Needs More Intuitive Reporting

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Younium?**

It solves the most critical parts around subscription management - invoice batches, auto-renewal, price increases, etc. Also can handle complex pricing and has detailed customer cards.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

It feels a bit overworked and not as intuitive as it could be. The insight module has never really worked with accurate data and the reports could be easier to build (again there are so many options that you loose yourself in them).

Making changes to subscriptions is a bit tedious.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Revenue leakage and ARR control.

  ### 38. Easy to Use with Lots of Features, but Subscription Changes Can Be Tricky

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Younium?**

It's easy to use and has a lot of different features

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

changes on subscriptions are sometimes complicated

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it sends multiple reminders to our clients

**Official Response from Sofie Murphy:**

> Thanks a lot for your review! Great to hear you find Younium easy to use :)

Your feedback around subscription changes sometimes feeling complicated has been shared with our product team for review. we appreciate the input!

Thanks again for sharing! Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions or feedback.

  ### 39. Very bad integration with Salesforce

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Judy W. | CRM Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Younium?**

As a standalone invoicing tool, it does what it should do.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Horrible when it comes to Salesforce integration. Account manager is friendly, but the issues are just not being followed up for months. They ghost you when a bug persists for too long.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Subscription management and invoicing

  ### 40. Flexible SaaS subscription management tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Younium?**

Flexibility of the data model, custom fields, ease of use, support help

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Standard integrations can/need be improved

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Proper registration of customers and their licenses

  ### 41. Powerful tool that gives you quick access to all your data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Helena B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Younium?**

When you have all your customer data in Younium it is super easy to get reports and overviews out of the system. All users can also log in and see the current status of the customers/sales/income/AR. Implementation was extremely good and easy, everything was filled in Excel sheets and imported into the system, any mistake I made, the implementation team corrected quickly.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

The screen is too full, we would like to hide the functions we do not use. Some features could be more intuitive, you have to know where to click to find things. Customer support is only on email, which we find time consuming. Integration is not great, we were told theres a connector to Power Office, but we cannot use the connnector because then the Stripe functions will not work - which menas we have to import the monthly reports manually in the accounting.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Younium gathers all the steps of contracting, invoicing, reporting in one system. It reduces risk of lost income and person dependency.

  ### 42. Great tool for keeping track of ACV bookings, NRR, cashflow forecast and invoicing with recognition!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elisabeth H. | CFO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Younium?**

One of the best things about Younium is that we can be certain that we are not missing out on any revenue as it is clear what is to be invoiced when.
Also, it helps us keep track of our ACV bookings, as it is important for us to follow KPIs related to both ACV and revenue.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

It is a bit complex, we don't use all functionality but still have to pay for it all.. and I a bit too often find that I have to reach out to the support to get help since it is not that clear what actions lead to what bookings. The support is however excellent and usually really fast at responding.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It connects the contracts, the ACV and in the end the revenue. This means that we can analyze the whole order-to-cash process in Younium.

  ### 43. Great and flexible product!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob E. | CFO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Younium?**

Using Younium has made our lives much easier when it comes to subscription management. The flexibility of the platform is great and offers a solution for a lot of different scenarios. Customer support is great and proactive.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Not much I dislike but would be great if the UX was a bit clearer in terms of when you actually open a "sub-menu" it's not always too visible.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Younium is making subscription management much easier with its flexibility.

  ### 44. Transforming Subscription Management with Younium: A Game-Changer for Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Younium?**

As a user of Younium, I've experienced firsthand the impact this software has had on my abilities to manage subscription fees and invoices. The amount of time I have saved on administration alone has more than compensated for the investment that we have done in the software and our processes to manage it.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

There is a learning curve to Younium, there are som hurdles to overcom when transitioning to the software. The complexity is due more to the complexity of managing 500+ customers than the software alone. There are some getting used to the features. But the effort to learn is well rewarded by the efficiency it brings to our processes.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The amount of automation we have gained in our processes is huge. It's not just about sending invoices; it's about the approach to subscription management as a whole.

We are getting insights to our customer base much more easily than before. A bunch of KPI's are available with a few clicks on the computer. The ability to access, understand, and leverage these KPIs without needing to manually compile data is a huge benefit. And when you need to export data to process it is outside of Younium it easy to get in compatible formats.

In conclusion, while Younium may initially present a steep learning curve, the benefits it offers are undeniable.

  ### 45. Excellent subscription management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Younium?**

Younium is a great service to manage subscriptions, sales, and the invoicing thereof. It is very user friendly, and has great integrations with both our CRM system (Microsoft Dynamics) and our accounting system (PE Accounting).

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

The downside that I have so far encountered is that it is not possible to credit the same invoice more than once, so when I first had to partly credit an invoice, and then later needed to credit the rest after long discussions between our company and the client, I could not credit the remainder as I had already credited a part of it.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Subscription management and invoicing.

  ### 46. Best Subscription Management Solution!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avery W. | Director of Finance Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2023

**What do you like best about Younium?**

As a US company, our number one consideration when looking for a subsctiption management solution was 'can it easily handle ASC606 without added complexities imposed by our CRM?' And to our surprise, Younium not only streamlined our Q2C proces, but its UI/UX is much cleaner and easier to use than rival platforms. With Younium, the entire Q2C process is managed through Younium and integrated with key ancillary systems (Salesforce, QBO, TaxJar, etc.) creating a single source of truth and enabling transparancy across the company.

Younium's best kept secret is its support and innovation. Not only is the team prompt with answering questions, they partner with us to meet our needs and recommend best practices.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

The system can be slow from time to time, but it's never been an issue.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall, the number one problem Younium solves is creating a seamless Q2C process. Prior to Younium, we have several separate systems for storing and tracking subscription data. Now, it doesn't matter if the information is housed in Salesforce (CRM) or Younium, Sales, Customer Success, Ops and Finance all have line of sight one the same information - all of our teams have the actionable data they need without having to wait for another group to provide it.

  ### 47. A big step forward for our business

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Younium?**

It integrates well with our Hubspot CRM and gives us better reporting capabilities.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

Not necessarily Younium but, the change management process and the challenge of migrating different siloed systems into Younium took longer than expected. So, I disliked the process but, was happy with the result. Younium’s support through the journey has been excellent.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our licensing and renewals was being handled by 4 different systems. The process of managing renewals and generating reports was taking too much of our team’s valuable time. All our licensing can now be managed within one system. We spend less time managing renewals and can have better visibility into our business.

  ### 48. Good system, complex to learn.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I like the features for creating, changes and cancelling orders

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

It was quite many fields to understand. Quite complex to learn

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fast order handling

  ### 49. Review from a multi-national Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gustaf B. | Head of Invoicing and Business Controlling, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Younium?**

My top three favorite things about the software are:
- the ability to create your own reports from different parts of the system and how the software let's you connect different elements to one other in the reports.
- the import data function that let's you as a system administriator update many things at once that saves a lot of time and energy.
- how the system always makes sure that every charge from every order is invoiced and up to date so that no previous invoice period will be forgotten.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

In our specific line of business it sometimes happens that a customer wants an older invoice (not from the most recent invoicing period) to be credited or changed. In younium, it's currently cumbersome to make changes in previous periods without changing everything after the specific period. This might not be something that bothers other users but for us it's challenging sometimes. We would also like a more automated integration with the bank. However, in our experience, Younium are usually responsive and great at dealing with suggestions for improvement.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can combine subscriptions management with a very accurate revenue recognition procedure (perfectly takes annual, bi-annual and quarterly invoicing in account), a good overview of different company KPIs (standard) and the ability to create our own reports from the software as well as getting the correct information to supply to the tax authorities. Compared to our earlier invoicing routine - Younium is more modern and have far better reporting possibilities.

  ### 50. Younium brings control and transparency where needed

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kenny S. | Customer Success Manager , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Younium?**

I truly love that that Younium makes it easy for us to see central information regarding our offer to our customers and that we can track financial information that regards our customers as well.
Reporting is easy and the information I need for each contract is readily available.

**What do you dislike about Younium?**

There's nothing major that I dislike about Younium for the case I'm using it for.
I would have loved if I could see the original of each invoice that has been sent to our customer straight from Younium, maybe that's doable, but for now that's not available in our setup.

**What problems is Younium solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use mainly Younium to consolidate information that's valuable to keep track of during our contract with each customer. It also makes it easy to handle invoice information during the whole contract cycle.
Younium visualize when things has been added or retracted from the contracts with our customers which is valuable to keep track of.
