What do you like best about Ninite?

Ninite allows us to quickly and efficiently install and update third party apps. In addition to manual installations, created application installation scripts for use in our RMM tool is extremely easy and reliable. Overall, I couldn't be happier with Ninite! "Ninite is An Intuitive Program That Just Works All The Time."

What do you like best about Ninite?

Nininte Pro always me to script software installation quickly and easily with my RMM solution, N-Able N-Central. Simply put, I have never had a problem with Ninite. It works exactly as advertised every time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ninite?

Although it is out of Ninite's control, some third-party apps used to be available in Ninite but are no longer listed. I understand that Ninite removed some apps at the publisher's request, so I don't fault Ninite for that problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Ninite:

If your work for a managed services provider and frequently script the installation of common third-party apps, review Ninite's command-line options. It has saved me a significant amount of time over the years that I have been using the procduct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ninite allows us to quickly and easily install and update third-party apps in Windows on individual systems or via command-line scripting using our RMM tool. "Ninite Is The Tool For New Installs"

What do you like best about Ninite?

Ninite has all the most common third-party programs in one spot for installation. There is no more hopping around from URL to URL or keeping a thumb drive with updated executables. This makes my job easier on new computer setups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ninite?

It has helped me to download all the necessary programs and applications for my computer, its ease of use is impressive, the fact that it can perform multiple downloads and installations is phenomenal, I no longer have to worry about searching for installers in a individual because I know that with Ninite I get all the programs I need in one place, searching, downloading and installing the programs you need is something quite simple to do, it is only a matter of giving a few clicks and you can install without any kind problems all the programs you need, the fact that it only installs the necessary programs and not additional programs or extensions is a big, BIG point in its favor, since with individual installers we run the risk of downloading and installing programs or extensions that really they are unnecessary for us. What problems is Ninite solving and how is that benefiting you?

It has been of great help to me to install and update new programs and applications on my computer in a much faster and easier way, since I do not have to waste time searching the internet for the individual installers of each application since Ninite has them available its disposition, in summary this is very useful to me when acquiring new equipment where I only have to install Ninite and from the rest I can easily install the programs I need from the same interface, not to mention that the installed programs work at the same time. perfection on my computer, whatever version I have, I definitely recommend them to everyone. "Best Software for Installing Multiple Programs"

What do you like best about Ninite?

I always use more or less the same software in all of my machines and most of those softwares are open source and very common. I love Ninite so that instead of investing time in downloading and installing at least 10 different software packages, I just click some checkboxes and just download and install one file (which of course downloads&installls everything else). I also do not have to worry about versions.

I only have up to 10 machines, so I use Ninite's free version manually. But if I had at least 50 machines, I'd definitely splurge on the Pro version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ninite?

To use it effectively, you are limited to what they are offering. If you need something else (like Git or Sourcetree) then you lose effectiveness the more programs you need that aren't included in Ninite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ninite?

Ninite is great, I used it daily when I worked in repairs and maintenance to install all of the necessary software after a OS reinstall Good Support. I don't like bloatware and always delete unnecessary programs from new computers and install the good, free, useful software I prefer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ninite?

I wish it had a better centralized user interface for those that manage many machines If I had to pick something, I guess I would just like more applications to be supported Limited selection of applications, no way to upload your own exe o msi Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Ninite:

Ninite works very well at keeping everything up to date, but make sure you have a way to monitor its success if you are managing multiple machines. If you want something that will just work and not need to play around too much with, this is the best option The free version is perfectly useful, go ahead and start with the free version and it might be exactly what you need Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ninite solving and how is that benefiting you?

No longer need to log into a computer one by one to update these programs, or deal with trying to write Group Policy's to manage it all for me. Can set it up to run as a scheduled task which makes IT's job much easier. I can simply log into Ninite and download everything I need all at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
