Scheduling Zoom calls is easy. It links with my work calendar, so I can quickly see when colleagues are free and set up meetings without back-and-forth. I also like that notes taken in the chat during a call can be shared with colleagues and saved, so they aren’t lost once the call ends. The calendar view shows public holidays and colleagues’ annual leave as well, which makes it faster to find a suitable time and schedule meetings more quickly. I can’t set “turn off AI assistant” as the default, so we have to switch it off at the start of every call. I suspect those settings are controlled by our account admin. During calls, the Zoom controls also often feel like they’re in the way, especially when I’m sharing my screen. Sometimes the Zoom tasks build up (I’m checking elsewhere) and it makes me anxious, since the number can get quite high. I also don’t like the wording of “X is inviting you to view the meeting summary” — it comes across as passive-aggressive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
