Notes are fully customizable to match each clinician's preferred format, terminology, and documentation style, allowing any practice to tailor outputs to their specific workflow and payer requirements. Every note requires clinician-in-the-loop review, edit, and approval before it is finalized or signed; the licensed clinician remains responsible for the clinical accuracy, completeness, and payer-readiness of each note. Privacy, security, and compliance are foundational to AutoNotes. The platform operates a HIPAA-aligned security and privacy program, aligns with PHIPA for Canadian providers, and executes a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with every customer that processes Protected Health Information (PHI). PHI is encrypted in transit and at rest, de-identified before any interaction with external AI services, and AI subprocessors are contractually prohibited from using customer data for model training or retention. Although you can still use chatGPT or Bard to generate your notes, autonotes makes it very much hassle free. it gives you three base templates to choose from, and the amount of customization options you get after is enormous. You can select primary/secondary/tertiary diagnosis levels and add custom summary on top of it. The notations are added automatically provided you choose the right ones.
