Customized Pages and Menus. Modern catalog display and design. Hassle free eCommerce Integration. Better reporting and Dashboard. Easy management of Learning Plan. Very intuitive design which facilitates administrator and users to navigate the system without any issues. Modern catalog display and design. Ability to automate various notification with a click of a toggle button. Quick and responsive support from the Docebo Technical support team. Chat support with technical expert is really helpful in getting your queries answered for issues that requires immediate attention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Provision to download survey learning object responses from multiple courses into a single report. Currently it is available even though survey is included in CLOR.
Remove the restriction on the number of branches that can be assigned to Menu.
SCORM Versioning. Provide an option to view the previous and current version uploaded.
Survey creation can be made more efficient. Currently it is not administrator friendly to create and assign to courses.
Also the look and alignment of the survey is not greatly represented. This can be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With Docebo we could take a significant step ahead in our education program journey, moving from ppt based training to a modern e-learning platform. From an administrative point of view, the system configuration is easy and the learning curve is fast. The user interface is effective and a good degree of customization is available to match your company brand identity. Management of learning plans and courses allows you to publish dedicated content for multiple learner groups (internal people, partners, customers...). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no particular aspects to dislike at the moment. I've had so far some minor development suggestions which I have submitted through a handy "browse and submit ideas" page, directly through the application interface. This is quite effective as, once you submit an idea, you receive updates about comments from other users and progress in the development pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a number of Docebo features that contribute to the platform's efficiency, but the central repository and question bank mean that when creating resources, they can be made once and used often by pulling from these centralized tools. Additionally, the channel layout for course collections is clear and convenient for customers.
We also found the list of included courses to be valuable and time saving, as is the ability to import SCORM courses from other entities, reducing our need to create everything from scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Really nothing to dislike with this - it has a robust feature set, so it does take time to learn and implement, but if you approach the transition with a clear plan and learn the program bite by bite according to the needs of the plan, their implementation timeline expectations can be both met and exceeded. We implemented the Docebo platform to our staff and volunteers in April 2020 after an in depth implementation process supported by the Docebo team, and our own internal set up and testing. The plus points for us of using the system are:
The way we can split the system access for different audiences within our charity.
How we can utilise branching so that each of our offices have a view of their own team's progress
How we can set up power users in each of our local offices - they get enhanced reporting access without being full admin users.
We are also very pleased that Docebo has an in depth road map for future system enhancements and other products we can subscribe to when the time comes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No fast creation editing tool available at present. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about Docebo is the high-quality L MS user experience that you can create with very little technical background or skill. The platform is beautiful out of the box but really takes shape when white-labeling and custom branding is applied. I have zero web development experience and was able to create an outstanding eLearning platform that serves thousands of learners annually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our company's use case is relatively complex with a large user base of "external" users (customers) and a small user base of "internal" users (employees). Due to some of the structures that we have in place for the external domain, there are some aspects of the platform that are difficult to make fit our needs. The other biggest challenge we have is the lack of mobile web browser support for the platform. We have a branded mobile app, but that doesn't make up for 100% of the challenges our customers run into when attempting to access the platform on a mobile device. The mobile app functionality has also improved over time but is missing functionality that should be offered, such as certificate download capabilities, webinar course enrollment capabilities, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are a small nonprofit but with national reach and Docebo's learning management system allows us all the power and flexibility of a "big" lms without being complicated and requiring lots of technical expertise. We use it for both employee training - a must have given the current remote work climate and for external partners who are replicating our work at the local level. I love how easy it is to customize the look and feel of the platform for different user groups, the ability to upload all kinds of shareable content, and the flexibility with organizing that content, and it's also super easy to organize and manage our users from an admin perspective. I also love how responsive the support team is and appreciate the product team's rapid development of new features. I have used other LMS platforms and am very happy with our decision to implement Docebo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have yet to devise a workable solution to our e-commerce needs through the platform as we need to sell "subscription" to the entire platform not just the sale of course catalogs. We will probably need to enlist some professional services at some point to accomplish this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Docebo has been easy to learn and onboard. It's also easy to customize and with it's highly visual GUI and Social integrations, it allows us not to just deliver content, but to share and market it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Docebo needs to understand that they are one part of a much larger digital asset management solution and that the platform needs to be able to communicate in real-time with enterprise-level DAMS and CMS's. We need better access to metadata within Docebo and the ability to accumulate and communicate that data back to our DAM. As administrators, we need better access to the big data inside Docebo. We'd love to be able to do bulk uploads of learning assets, tags, images etc.
Lastly, the AI tagging is limited to 15 tags which are nowhere near enough. One white paper for us could contain 80+ taxonomical terms and keywords, and adding tags by hand is tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There was a large set of features that allowed for a lot of flexibility when it comes to designing an education program. We use it for educating customers, prospects, and employees. So the ability to control access to courses was pretty awesome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can get lost. Sometimes there are too many features within a course, you can get yourself a little lost in the details. When it came to designing something that would look and feel premium we did have to put our designer to work, but we wanted that premium feel. So if you are planning on out of the box looking pretty, it may be a tall order. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really enjoy the amount of options Docebo gives me when it comes to planning content for our learners. Learning Plans, Webinars, Courses, Catalogs, etc. They all help me accomplish what I need to do to create a learning environment for our employees and customers. I also like the fact that we can brand the Docebo platform to match Centercode's brand guidelines. Our brand is very important to us, so to have that ability is awesome. I also really enjoy the user dashboards, at least at a glance. My learners also enjoy how straightforward and efficient Docebo Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Docebo can be hard to navigate as an admin. The amount of options provided to admins is awesome, but sometimes I feel like there are 5 different ways to do things and not all of them seem to line up. For example, assigning courses to branches, groups, individual users, etc. There's no clearly defined path for what works best and what is the most efficient way of doing something. Again, I enjoy the wealth of options available to me as an admin, but more context on what feature does what would be helpful - especially for newer users.
While I appreciate the support for VTT files, I would also appreciate support for SRT and other CC/Subtitles formats.
The certificate template could also be refined. It seems a bit difficult to use, with no concrete instructions on how to properly format the certificate inside Docebo. I had to go to a help page to really figure out how to implement a certificate properly. A better editor with more visual help would be nice, like having the background image appear while editing text. That way I can know exactly where the text will be placed when using the editor. Clean, professional interface makes our learning platform look impressive to our employees and customers. Course administrators can make a solid, professional, easy-to-navigate course without having to be an expert at design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting capabilities an be cumbersome to use in order to get easy results; often it requires exporting a report in Excel or CSV format and doing more work to process it into the results you want. Not all menus are intuitive either, and features can hide in tricky places where you just have to kind of learn and memorize where they are. Video player capabilities are somewhat limited too; our #1 complaint from users has been that we can't give them the ability to rewind a video (without also unlocking fast-forward which we don't always want to do). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
fast response rate of the customer service department
easy to use applications (e.g. notifications, certifications, e-signature etcetera)
multidomain use (possibility to create several "environments" within one and the same LMS) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
localization tool (nice that you can manage translations yourself but not easy to detect the correct word/paraphrase you wish to translate => reason: identical words/paraphrases used on several pages)
unannounced updates - changes in settings (e.g. new image file dimensions for thumbnail - suddenly my previously uploaded thumbnails were no longer entirely visible due to their wrong dimensions - in accordance with 'old' file dimensions)
loss of advanced search option for course enrollments since last update of course management (I previously looked at enrollments for my different branches but I cannot do so anymore since this option is no longer included in the new course management tool) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface for performing all administrative tasks is simple and easy to use. I love the level of customization to help make our LMS unique to our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike about the system. As an added bonus, Docebo is great about taking customers' feedback and acting on those suggestions. Some of the things I disliked at the beginning of our journey are all fixed or changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Very good usability for admins and end user, Flexibility in creation of pages and menus for different audiences, Customzation of the platform, Creation of subdomains for internal and external needs, Pre-build integration to some of the most common software provider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Missing integrations to other providers (which may be integrated in future), Content creation options (a built-in authoring tool would be helpful), Complex procedure to evaluate test results of end users, Missing upload options of files in certain platform areas, Complex certificate template builder (a drag & drop feature could be very useful here). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is highly customizable for the end-user, and it's pretty intuitive compared to other LMSs I have used. The back end is also quite straight-forward. Other LMSs I have used (looking at you, SumTotal) are a nightmare on the backend, with multiple nested menus, incomprehensibly named data fields, non-intuitive methods for building courses and curricula, etc. That isn't the case with Docebo. Docebo is clean, modern, and pretty fast. It doesn't require you to be an expert LMS administrator to make sense of it, and it doesn't feel like a bogged-down legacy product like most other LMSs on the market.
The localization tool is hugely powerful. The fact that the interface is available in so many languages "out of the box" is huge for our international user base. My colleagues in the Russia/CIS region were delighted to see Bosnian and Kazakh as options. The translations aren't always exactly what we want them to say, but it's very easy to make custom changes to the localizations.
It's not perfect, but Docebo is always making incremental improvements. Almost everything on my wish list has eventually been ticked off as they develop the product. The implementation of the central repository was the most important thing for me, as it made it much easier to update SCORM courses without having to ensure the manifest file was identical. I have found everyone on the Docebo team pleasant to work with. Support is responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Integration with Webex has traditionally been a challenge (but that might be due to more to Webex than Docebo). I definitely have found Docebo superior for managing digital courses rather than live ones, but I also have not tried to use that functionality in a while. Managing power users can sometimes be a pain.
I wish that the extended enterprise feature had a few more styling/customization options that didn't require CSS. There also doesn't seem to be a way to limit the catalogs that appear in the extended enterprise public-facing catalog, which makes it useless for us. It would also be great to have a better notification builder that could help design attractive e-mails without knowledge of HTML. Occasionally I have run into "mystery" issues here and there (in one case I had to change a system-generated message from the localization tool, which was kind of bizarre, but I guess made sense in a way), but generally support has been able to help me solve them. There have been times when certain administrative tasks have been a bit laborious, but it always seems to be getting better.
One thing that I definitely think could use improvement is the ability to get an overall view of an individual's progress/status. Generally, Docebo could use some improvements to be used for internal onboarding and training. There is a way to track certifications in Docebo, but we had difficulty trying to get it to really do what we wanted it to do. Along with that, it's hard to track ad-hoc learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Intuitive and practical. I still use the program for a short time but I can already understand the high potential. Simple and clear to use, a team of people always available to help you at any time. An excellent business partner. Another very useful and appreciated thing is docebo university which helps the user with constantly updated information.
The training was also perfect. The guys of the docebo team are super prepared and available.
Finally, the updates. Always useful and perfectly explained.
In short, Intuitive and easy to use. Always up to date and with an excellent support team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
To date, the only thing I don't like is that it is sometimes a bit cumbersome.
Sometimes enrolling and unsubscribing from courses remains a bit complex. Reporting could be improved. Loading images into tests is not always quick and immediate.
Even the management of the various users is not always easy.
Perhaps also due to the lack of practice and the short time of use but sometimes it is not clear to me why power users should have not only courses but also hooked users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We appreciate our close relationship with the Docebo team. They were very reactive when we needed to migrate content from our old LMS and we went live in less than 2 months. Additionally, anytime we had critical issue, the support team and our customer success representative were here to solve the situation. They have also provided great guidance when we needed to understand what was the best implementation choice
Docebo is a very innovative product, and very flexible, that easily allows you to go out of the original scope. It has endless capabilities, and we were able to perfectly adapt it to our use case. We highly appreciate the release of new features, attracting more and more people to our platform (gamification, notification, automatic AI, advanced custom branding...).
The Docebo API is very friendly and it allows us to make reporting or automate some business logic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is hard to measure the impact of our feedback inside the product roadmap. There is a feedback portal but it looks like there is no impact. Anytime I had to request a feature, it had to wait a very long time before being considered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Docebo platform is a very user friendly tool. The support Docebo provides is high professional, quick and effective.
The platform offers plenty of options to create a very personalized LMS that fits your needs and your desires.
If you don't have a clear idea of how your LMS could looks like you also have templates ready to be used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Docebo is constantly working on new features and improving their options in the platform. One thing that could be better nowadays is that courses need to be edit individually and there is no option to edit all at the same time (eg: visibility, catalogue assignment, etc.)
However, if you import content from them this work is already done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Docebo is extremely versatile in terms of settings and customization. We like custom pages and menus with layout constructor. Design is quite fresh and is constantly evolving and updating. API is a next thing (however we still don’t use it), but have plans to integrate Docebo LMS into external platforms and possibly create an administration tool to support our admins better manage current user and courses database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Docebo is still in the beginning when it comes to administrating classroom and virtual trainings (poor schedule assistant and calendar for admins, no joint reports for virtual AND classroom session, no assets management, tedious to find available seats not only with user name, but with additional fields).
We also like Bulk loading via csv (users, courses ,enrollments). It saves a lot of time, especially when you need to massively update user fields or enroll many people to specific groups or learning plants.
Docebo provides a flexible interface when it comes to course player. We use course widgets to increase the value of the course, to gather feedback, to let people download fils or other materials when accessing the course. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
