  ### 1. Pipedrive - The Wins and Losses

**What do you like best about Pipedrive?**

I would like to preface this review by saying I am not normally a person good at using a calendar, nor a day planner, which makes a tool like Pipedrive all the more invaluable. Additionally, rather than using pipedrive to track sales, we call them "deals" which will make the rest of the review make more sense. I'm not in sales full-time, but rather a jack of all trades at our office, so there are times where I am not using the software regularly for a week or two. 

We have several people at our office (relatively small, family-owned auction company). It is one of those work apps that is effective depending on how often you use it. I'm trying to integrate it more and more on a daily basis, whereas my colleague has at least a dozen Pipedrive tasks assigned per day. He's not super tech savvy either, but has integrated it into his daily routine flawlessly. So what I like best about Pipedrive  includes:

-How quickly you can onboard a brand new or older employee into the platform
-How you can modify the columns and even create new separate sections for each employee to track their own deals with a different benchmark process
-How well it synchs onto google calendar
-Obviously, the feeling of pressing the deal won button (you get like a cyclist or ice skater animated graphic once in awhile, which is fun!)
-How colleagues and managers can check the status of a deal without sending an email or making a phone call (let alone a zoom or in-office meeting!)
-Very useful for an international company where we have employees in time zones all around the world traveling

**What do you dislike about Pipedrive?**

I would be lying if I said the customer support process couldn't be a bit better...Pipedrive relies heavily on their chatbot and I believe charges an additional fee for live tech support. 

The "Green / Grey / Yellow / Red" status prompts of sales/deals can also be a bit convoluted. Aside from grey meaning activity has been assigned for a follow-up and red meaning overdue, I've lost track of how to even reach the other colors. Seeing a sea of red after you've been working on other things for a week can be a little depressing. 

All of my other complaints have more to do with issues our office is having (arguing over what the columns should be called has been an ongoing saga for many years now!) and are less related to the platform itself. But hey, it's tech, no one can ever be truly satisfied after each update!

**What problems is Pipedrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scheduling action items on google calendars. Acting as our guide for our weekly deal and business development meetings.

I’d love to see more detailed reporting when it comes to products. Right now, the product-related insights are quite limited compared to the rest of the platform. For teams that rely heavily on product data for decision-making, this can be a gap.

With Pipedrive, I’ve managed to cut down operational costs and speed up my sales cycle significantly.

**What do you like best about Pipedrive?**

The scheduling in Pipedrive is phenomenal. I am able to schedule, meetings, follow ups, emails, phone calls, research, etc. I have been able to keep up on my job without issues and able to connect my important information when needed. I use this every single day and it works great and helps me keep up with all of the calls.

**What do you dislike about Pipedrive?**

I think categorizing information could be more in depth. I would like to be able to follow the leads only distributed in one certain month. If there is a way to do this already, the information to find it isn't easy to access.

**What problems is Pipedrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me keep track of the process the lead goes through from the second the call comes in, till they accept or deny the job. I am able to schedule all sorts of things to help me keep up with what I need to be wathcing/ paying attention to. I have made a pipeline for every sales rep in my company and the stages the calls are in, so it is easy for me to track the employee's progress.

I like the UX and UI of Pipedrive and find it really user friendly. Most CRMs have complex workflows needing someone technical, but Pipedrive helps any nontechnical person manage their workflows really well. The initial setup was pretty easy, and the user interface makes it easy to onboard manually.

Probably, pricing.

**What do you like best about Pipedrive?**

The overall UX is very streamlined and intuitive. As an account administrator and IT representative, I'm very pleased with how easy the implementation has been so far. Details such as a universal search bar, a quick and intuitive import/export system, the ability to update single/multiple records with just a few clicks, and the possibility to customize the interface according to our needs add up to a fantastic user experience.

**What do you dislike about Pipedrive?**

So far, I've only come across two details that have I see as potential points of improvement:
1. When creating views/filters, and adding a new filter option, the select box always opens by default, but closes on any first interaction. This (as I mentioned) is really just a detail, but since I create/update views and filters very frequently, it is something that also comes up frequently.
2. A more robust automation system would be really appreciated, with new triggers such as "contact entering/leaving a filter/view", or calculation properties that can do more than arithmetic operations and number type return values (ex. "if Property A > 3 return 'Qualified', else return 'Unqualified')

Having a simple yet fully functional CRM platform, with integration options to Email marketing tools.

**What do you like best about Pipedrive?**

The tools, the metrics and the seemingly easy flow. The import templates were invaluable to get our info ported over from our other CRM. Optionality for the system is great for customizations. This is a sales heavy platform - exactly what we were looking for.

**What do you dislike about Pipedrive?**

This is a lot for people to get in a short amount of time if you need to be up and running. You'll need to watch videos or read articles. But once you understand the flow of Pipedrive it will come. Also, some feature creep is overwhelming.

**What problems is Pipedrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have NO metrics. This solves our huge problem of not knowing project margin or close rate or ARR.

Pipedrive is extremely easy to use, my partner and I successfully and swiftly implemented the product into our daily routine with ease. We use it daily, and it facilitates the transfer of leads we capture through the funnel, thanks to the large number of available features. Although we haven't needed to use it, there is always a pop-up informing about the availability of customer support, and the ease of integration with other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Pipedrive?**

I have not yet identified any disadvantages, but I just suggested that more options for movement opportunities be applied on the same page in the interfaces.

Pipedrive has effectively changed the way I execute my work. With it, I find it easier to manage leads and sales stages, I don't lose contacts, and I don't let operations cool down.

We like how easy it is to work with Pipedrive. That is the general feedback from the team. We also see lots of new features being added and some are really nice to have and helps a lot on the daily tasks.

It is not a problem with Pipedrive itself, but sometimes it is hard to adapt Pipedrive to our company needs.

Pipedrive just makes everything easier. It’s clean, intuitive, and actually helps me stay on top of deals without feeling overwhelmed. I love how visual the pipeline is — it’s like having a to-do list that updates itself. The customisation options are great too, so I can tailor it to exactly how I work. If I had to pick something, I’d say the only minor gripe is that the mobile app can feel a bit cramped when managing multiple pipelines — but honestly, it’s nothing that gets in the way of how useful the platform is overall.

Chat support agents stick to a script for longer than they should- time to resolve a "ticket' is long, and the process doesn't seem to incorporate feedback from the user. Conflicting information is offered by within chats with a single agent and across chats with multiple agents. The support team also made unauthorized changes to data in my account.

My trial period was extended twice because of a ticket that continued to be unresolved after 3 agents. On agent 4, it was resolved immediately. I was hoping that was 1-off experience because I was a trial user. I am disappointed to see the service has actually worsened since I have purchased an annual subscription.

New to Pipedrive, I’ve been enjoying the simplicity compared to our previous software. It has what you need without overcomplicating things. The pipeline view is clean and easy to work with, giving instant visibility into deals without the clutter. Customization was straightforward, so we could quickly adapt it to our sales process.

I also use it frequently for scheduled activities and emails - I like how these are laid out and easy to work through, and the email integration was simple to set up. Overall, implementation has been relatively painless, and I’m confident we’ll expand our use beyond what we initially planned.

**What do you dislike about Pipedrive?**

The biggest drawback so far is the activities. You can schedule them, but there’s no way (at least that I’ve found) to set up recurring activities. This would be helpful for regular check-ins and follow-ups. It’s possible to recreate them manually, but that adds extra steps that could be avoided.

Keeping track of our sales pipeline for the whole team to see, as well as tracking emails and activities. It's simplicity has been a breath of fresh air compared to our previous software which was far too complex for our needs.

**What do you like best about Pipedrive?**

Pipedrive is simple, clear, and easy to use. It has a low learning curve and is applicable to different types of sales methods.

The automation and integration capabilities are sufficient for medium-sized companies, and Pipedrive makes it possible to automate most of the daily work.

**What do you dislike about Pipedrive?**

The only weakness of Pipedrive that is significant to me is changes. Sometimes something changes, but there is no advance notice of the change. As a head of sales, looking for problems in the automation chain, for example, is a task that I don't really have time for. The problem itself would be easy to fix with better communication.

**What problems is Pipedrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pipedrive has replaced several different systems and brought sales data together in one place. It has made everyday life easier, streamlined analytics, and, most importantly, made the salesperson's daily work easier.

**What do you like best about Pipedrive?**

The Pipedrive is the tool that I have the most ease in teaching to use for my new salespeople, besides I had to use its support a few times and in all of them my problem was solved quickly or I was given an alternative way to do what I wanted, I use it every day and if it went offline today my team would be without records (including, I think I'm going to make a backup), I use today only the sales funnel resources and automations, in addition to the insights for daily activity tracking.

**What do you dislike about Pipedrive?**

At a time when I was heavily working on making my Pipedrive as automated as possible, I found some barriers within more complex automations that I would like to have, in addition, I wanted to be able to see the number of open deals by company within the Pipedrive, but this is only possible by extracting an XLSX and doing it myself, I also don't like the project tracking interface and the pre-sales part of it, I've been using other tools to do it for myself.

**What problems is Pipedrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Pipedrive allows me to manage my contacts and customers easily, in addition, I can make the filling of fields by my salespeople to be much more fluid and not bother them much with this information, because I'm such a pest when I ask for it.

The report building. I can generate lots of reports and all the data is very well interconnected. We use it everyday. New people adapt quickly to it. The task management is good.

A bit expensive and some features that i would like to use, for instance integration with voip or whatsapp messaging are not included.

The task scheduling so i dont forget about the leads. Also the report generation is good to analyse my team's metrics.

**What do you like best about Pipedrive?**

It is the most user friendly CRM i have ever used.  From importing data to manually keying in information, it is just simple.  It is a tool that we use everyday that helps us achieve our goals.  It was also very easy to set up.  We utilize Teams integration, Ring Central integrations and are looking to add more.  I implemented this myself as a salesperson.  Any time I have an issue; I can jump on the chat and have that issue handled within minutes.  Would highly recommend.

**What do you dislike about Pipedrive?**

There isn't much I dislike.  I would say it would be nice to be able to run some formulas in the insights section to get a better idea of a close ratio and things like that.

**What problems is Pipedrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gets way more usage out of the sales team than any other platform we have used.  It also gives great insight into what we are doing right as a team and what we are doing wrong.

**What do you like best about Pipedrive?**

Pipedrive is refreshingly simple to use. The pipeline view is visually intuitive, and moving deals between stages is seamless. It keeps my sales process organized without feeling overwhelming. The automation features like email follow-ups and activity reminders help ensure I never miss a lead. It’s one of the few CRMs that feels like it’s made for actual salespeople, not just data input.

**What do you dislike about Pipedrive?**

The app. If the app had the same features like able to track open views of emails and links that would make this over the top. The app feels half finished. There’s so many things (the deals function should hold and drag like on an apple calendar) the website that just work and they don’t on the app.

**What problems is Pipedrive solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’m able to track emails to see when I could follow up knowing they opened or haven’t opened links etc…
