What do you like best?

great international, multi-currency support but should be noted that customers can receive foreign transaction fees. It's worth considering running multiple Stripe accounts in each trading area so that they are domestic transactions for customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

As someone who has multiple ecommerce businesses with varying business models, Stripe is always the easiest payment gateway to integrate. The API allows for so many different applications to interface with it, and their support has always been prompt and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There have been a few times where their policies have been frustrating. For example if someone files a dispute 6 months down the line after they've recieved a product/service, Stripe has allowed the customer (with no proof) to completely recoup their payment. While this is a rare instance of someone taking advantage of Stripe's policies, this was a rather large sum that was unrightfully taken from one of my former businesses. Make sure whatever ecommerce platform you use has extensive integration with Stripe. They're the best for payments, subscriptions, and invoices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Stripe has one of the products in the business, and that's not just billing. Their dashboard is very easy for anyone to use, they have quite possibly the best API documentations for any software, and they have great documentation for handling many different use cases. Handling billing with software is generally stressful, but working with Stripe is a joy and I wish all products were at their level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

This is a super minor gripe, but it would be nice if there was more clarity in their Python API documentation regarding their objects. Because the IDE integration isn't great, I have to rely on their documentation which can be a bit inconsistent on whether items are keys or attributes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Stripe handles all of the money passing for our application. We use it to manage our subscriptions, trials, plans, and handling user billing issues. What do you like best?

I enjoy that there are multiple ways to search an order (i.e. amount, card info, email). It makes it easy to search since customers never all of the info they used to place the order. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Compared to the last payment processor we used Stipe was a great improvement. I love the fact that I can issue refunds with ease and resend customer receipts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

We use Stripe Billing for our Individual Billing clients. It makes it very easy for parents and school to pay off their balances while protecting themselves and us against any transaction issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Stripe is extremely easy to set up recurring billing and also billing 1 off transactions while keeping a clear track record of everything that has run inside the system. It has made the billing process for our company easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

My biggest dislike is the fact that recurring billing does not have an automated email to everyone on failures. We do a lot of billing so we need to keep an eye on it. There are also a few usability things with discounts that can get annoying on subscriptions and the fact that you can't change currency once a subscription has been created can be annoying as you need to recollect all payment info. What do you like best?

Stripe has worked great for our business. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to process payments, so that you do not have to store client credit card data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The set up was not easy. We had our developers doing everything and it took a long time and needed a lot of work for pricing tier set up based on user amounts. What do you like best?

Our favorite feature is definitely the option to automatically deposit into our company bank account. No need to access the Stripe account to initiate the bank transfer at the end of each day, it is automatically scheduled and reaches our bank account in approximately 2 business days.

What do you dislike?

Direct invoicing is a bit cumbersome, a simplified version more like PayPal invoicing would be a huge benefit. Thankfully, we have invoicing software that integrates with Stripe so we do not need to use the Stripe option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We ran a test promotion to give customers money back if they purchased a deal with us. They purchased the deal through Stripe. It was very easy to manage purchases and it integrated with Slack, which was very helpful for my team so that they knew when to contact customers telling them that their deal had been purchased. I an not recommend stripe highly enough, it is the cheapest payment processor I have found and without any monthly fees (I don't like monthly fees as we don't always use it enough to warrant monthly fees). It is easy to use and I guess the only consideration really is does it do what you want it to do? I think for most SME's who are taking online payents the answer would be a resounding yes as it integrates well with other software (e.g. ecommerce software) and it pays out quickly with the lowest fees I have seen. What do you like best?

Here at Huel, we loved Stripe! It integrates with Shopify perfectly, which is the platform that we use to sell our product. Stripe works fast, and is really easy for our business. Stripe has a flat fee so it's super easy to budget with. It's great for any bigger e-commerce brand! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Stripe doesn't have phone support, which can be bit annoying. That's a main reason why we have decided to switch to Square Up--Stripe has an occasional freezing problem with no phone! Square Up has a phone number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We used it for our payments and subscription program so we aren't tapping into Stripe's full potential. For these simple tasks, it's very beneficial. We are a global brand so it's great for the multiple currencies it handles. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

I like the quick view stats at a glance on the dashboard, and ease of overall use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I dislike not clearly knowing what their algorithm is for giving discounts for month-after-month large transactions. My understanding is they use some form of a matrix to decide if there are lower-level tiers for those that charge a lot... but there is no stated amount, and they will not tell you more than what I've said here. It's just a simple solution, whether you're entering charges manually through their website, or using their API to interface with your custom or out-of-the-box billing solutions. What do you like best?

Stripe integrates well with websites and many other platforms. Easy to use to set up e-commerce stores in my experience with a seamless payment process. Easy to get sign up and get onboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
