**What do you like best about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

Videoask is a fantastic product that I’ve used in two different roles, and I’m currently using it to source video testimonial content in the academic space. What I like most is the price, how easy it is to set up and brand prompt workflows, and the user-friendly features that our whole team genuinely appreciates.

**What do you dislike about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

Some of our users have complained that it isn’t always clear whether their testimonials were recorded successfully. They’ve also gotten confused when there are multiple prompts (even though we’ve given them advance warning). Videoask could do a better job of giving end users a clearer heads-up about what to expect and confirming when a recording has gone through. Also - the transcription feature is terribly inaccurate & could be much improved.

**What problems is VideoAsk (by Typeform) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re in the education space, and Videoask has been helping us solicit testimonials from program alumni to support our donor appeals and fundraising campaigns. These Videoask-sourced recordings add an extra layer of authenticity to our outreach. It's also saved us a lot of time that would have been spent in one-on-one interview conversations.

It is very easy to use, in case you don't have much idea how to use it, they guide you.

In case you are looking for flows and automations with videos, Video Ask is a good choice; it also collects data and has integrations with different applications.

**What do you like best about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

The organization of the video submissions is by far their best feature. Very handy when you have a lot of videos to go through. Also, you can search from interaction or from contact information, which makes jumping to certain submissions easier. You have the option of setting up your requests nearly any way you want, to make it easier for post-prod and management. The system is fairly easy to use and linear in navigation. Didn't have any issues learning or adjusting to it. Migrating clips is also simple.

**What do you dislike about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

The lag, to which its cause is unknown. Also, sometimes cookies and in-app extensions don't load properly, but I never seem to be able to find out what that affects. Search responsiveness is both slow and sensitive. Sometimes users don't enable mic and/or cam permissions (either denied or ignored), so what you receive is a blank submission, rather than disallowing the submission altogether. If I can download multiple clips without them being compressed into a single folder, that would be great. If I can establish a default file naming system for downloads coming from a particular folder when downloaded in a specific pattern that would be great!

**Recommendations to others considering VideoAsk (by Typeform):**

If you need an all-in-one video clips submission software, this is the one. It won't blow you away or anything like that, but for your basic, specific needs, it will suffice.

**What problems is VideoAsk (by Typeform) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Submissions capture, processing, and management. Its critical in my line of work. It automates the process and would be much more tedious without it. Also, it helps eases the verification process for submissions, which I appreciate.

VideoAsk is one of the best tools that every digital marketer needs in 2022. The core concept of VideoAsk is to personalise your marketing or sales through interactive video. Paired with powerful tools it could completely replace your funnels with video style funnels and boom your conversion rate

**What do you dislike about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

More features, and more minutes on the basic plan would be great. As well as the possibility to add more 3rd party tracking code to the backend of VideoAsk, I had to find a word around for this

**Recommendations to others considering VideoAsk (by Typeform):**

I recommend videoask to every digital marketer who wants to thrive in 2022. It will help you improve your conversion rate at least by 20% as well as you'll get a lot of positive comments from your customers. No more to drop-offs, no-shows, bad lead quality. Personalization is the new way to market.

I'm improving the conversion rate of my website as well as I use VideoAsk alongside Typefrom to onboard new clients and employees into our agency. VideoAsk is a must-have.

**What do you like best about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

A clean and functional interface leads to an overall great experience for both our team members that are using videoAsk to answer the questions, and our customers as well.

**What do you dislike about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

Coming from Typeform I wasn't shocked, but videoAsk is on the expensive side. Which is understandable with its feature-rich stack, constant updates/upgrades, and always working infrastructure, you're going to have to pay a bit more. 
They've been working to make links overlay better over the video, but still needs more refinement.

**Recommendations to others considering VideoAsk (by Typeform):**

I recommend replacing any chat bot on your website with a videoAsk widget. We convert about 80% of questions into sales. Yeah, you read that right. When you can start a conversation with a customer via asynchronous video chat, it becomes effortless to build the report necessary to ask for the sale.

**What problems is VideoAsk (by Typeform) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using videoAsk for answering questions customers have about our digital product, which can be a bit complex at first. The ability to pop up the app, record my answer, and videoAsk handles the rest kinda takes all the fuss about answering customer questions.

I love how personal it is. You feel as tho you are actually having a conversation with the other person on the end of the video. Such a great tool to embed in the workplace to get a feel for people.

How do i say this... Its still stiffy, you could add so many feature and even an editing feature would be massive on this platform. It can get super messy as well so maybe work on UI and UX

Great tool, use it in your business. Start looking for tools like videoask that give you the ability to have a human first approach in what you do.

I liked the ability to create a "choose your own adventure" style digital conversation with video ask.

It took a fair amount of planning to create a good "conversation flow."

Have a good plan of what you'll be using VideoAsk to accomplish. It is a pretty cool application; however, it requires planning to operate effectively.

**What do you like best about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

My favorite aspect of VideoAsk is the depth to which you can build out a personalized video journey for a customer, prospect, partner, etc. Instead of developing complicated email drip campaigns which often go unread, it's been really fun to translate our campaigns into video format.

**What do you dislike about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

We've struggled to figure out how to drive two-way engagement, which is hard to blame VideoAsk for; but, one of our biggest goals in purchasing VideoAsk was gathering video testimonials from clients and we've had very limited success in doing so. Also, I feel the plans are prohibitively expensive, especially if you're an existing Typeform customer.

We are using VideoAsk to create video-based customer journeys, solicit and gather testimonials, and engage our customers in a forward-leaning format.

I can make notes on the screen so that I don't have "roaming eyes" while recording.

I don't like all of the how to video prompts when you first sign up; I'd rather just have a library with a short description. Too much clicking!

I can request recorded responses from colleagues with prompts and editing capabilities!

The ability to stay in contact with prospects, clients, coaches and everyone else without having to use a calendar gives you freedom that is unseen and simply amazing.

The pricing is based on minutes of processed videos. As this is influenced by a lot of variables, this makes it hard to calculate how many minutes are actually needed.

If you want to create an incredible lead generator for your website, VideoAsk is for you. It's incredibly easy to setup and simply works.

**What problems is VideoAsk (by Typeform) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before VideoAsk you would have to either take direct phone or video calls,  setup a calendar and schedule online meetings or send emails with appointment invitations or questions. With VideoAsk you get everything in one product that also converts like crazy because of the personal nature of video.

**What do you like best about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

VideoAsk accelerates how quickly I can truly engage with new c-level prospects. People I'm communicating with for the first time don't expect me to take the time to create a customized video for them. It makes a great first impression! I almost always get a reaction of some sort and people remember me for trying things in new ways. (That's a positive brand association from my perspective.) We're using VideoAsk in prospecting, brand communications, research, coaching, and client reports.

**What do you dislike about VideoAsk (by Typeform)?**

Envisioning the 'funnel' for early users can be time-consuming (at least it was for me).

**Recommendations to others considering VideoAsk (by Typeform):**

1. Start with a list of ideas and order them by the highest potential return
2. Pick one or two things that are LOW on that list so that you can learn without making too-public mistakes
3. You'll do best at VideoAsk if you're good at speaking, writing, video, and sales thinking. If you're weak in an area (or two), find some people to go on the journey with you before you start. (You'll love the better look--and responses--you'll get with a more complete team.)
4. Do steps 1-3 ;-)
