**What do you like best about JobTread?**

What I value most about JobTread is the clarity and structure it brings to my business. It didn’t just give me better software — it forced me to think and operate more intentionally. Having everything centralized (estimates, change orders, job costing, schedules, communication) gave me a clearer picture of where projects actually stood and what decisions I needed to be making.

Another huge upside has been how usable it is with subcontractors. Being able to share scopes, budgets, and expectations in a clean, professional way has helped me lean into a subcontractor-based model and step away from employees. That shift alone helped my business survive some very difficult personal and health-related seasons while still moving forward.

The support and onboarding also stand out. The team didn’t just answer questions — they made sure I actually implemented the system and used it correctly. That accountability was pivotal early on and made the difference between owning software and truly running my business through it.

I cannot put enough emphasis on the customer support and the desire to see their clients succeed. I was overwhelmed by the transition into implementing JobTread into our business.  They followed up with me and made sure that we had a smooth integration and the support has always been there to ensure we can utilize this everyday in our business.  We are even getting positive feedback from our subcontractors.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

JobTread is constantly evolving, which is largely a positive, but it can occasionally be challenging to keep up with changes as new features and updates are rolled out. That said, this isn’t due to a lack of training, communication, or access to customer support — those resources are strong — it’s simply the nature of a platform that continues to improve and expand.

One minor functional issue I’ve run into is within invoicing. The total invoice amount is auto-filled in the payment field, and if the actual payment amount isn’t adjusted before submitting, it will apply the invoice as paid in full. At the moment, there isn’t a way to correct that directly, which requires creating a new invoice to fix the mistake. It’s a small thing, but a confirmation step or edit option would help prevent accidental full payments.

Overall, these are minor points in the context of the value the platform provides, but they are areas where continued refinement could make an already strong system even better.

**What problems is JobTread solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JobTread has helped solve the problem of lack of visibility and control across projects. Before using it, it was difficult to quickly see where jobs stood financially, what had been approved, and what still needed action. Now I can track estimates, change orders, invoices, and job costs in one place, which has significantly reduced uncertainty and reactive decision-making.

It’s also helped solve communication breakdowns — both internally and with subcontractors. Having clear scopes, documented changes, and shared expectations has reduced confusion, protected margins, and improved accountability. This has been especially important as I transitioned away from employees and leaned more heavily on a subcontractor-based model.

Another major problem it helped solve was scalability during personal and operational stress. During seasons where my attention had to be divided due to family health issues and business restructuring, JobTread provided enough structure to keep projects moving without everything relying on me being involved in every detail.

Finally, it’s helped solve the issue of inconsistent sales and processes. By running estimates, pricing, and workflows through one system, I’ve been able to sell more consistently, make better decisions, and operate with greater confidence. The result has been meaningful revenue growth and clearer direction for where I want to take the business.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

Continued development. The JT team are adding new features and quality of life improvements almost every week.
The Budget / Estimate feature and the development team's engagement with users.  I use the budget tool daily to calculate and document the scope of work and budget for our customer's projects.  I can select the line items to include in a proposal, showing/hiding the information I want the customer to see. The most helpful part is the nested groups and tasks. Within the budget, I can have lots of detailed line items organized in multiple layers of groups. Then show the customer only the top  1-2 level of groups.  The Selections feature is also good, I can give the customer options they can choose from on the proposal. They can choose to add or remove optional bits of scope from the project.  They extended formulas to the budget calculation to make that feature even more powerful.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

They have yet to integrate email, sms or call logs in the app. I have created a Zap, triggered by new SMS that adds it as a comment in that customer record.  They are continuing to work on these types of integrations so I'm confident it will be available soon. In the meantime, Eric and their development team are very helpful working with users to add functionality.

Update: They have created a messaging center within the app that works with email to pull all the written vendor & client communication within the app.

**What problems is JobTread solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use the CRM to track projects by phase (17 stages) from new lead to finished/paid.  Our estimating, bidding and customer approval are all handled through JT.  We are starting to use JobTread for selections and allowances, then last week  Jan 2025) they added functions for doing onscreen takeoff. This will allow us to count and measure from the plans directly into the budget.

The fact that I cant edit a spreadsheet on the platform.  The spreadsheet has to be edited outside and then brought in via upload.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

I love the speed and ease of creating and editing project budgets and proposals. The platform is highly intuitive, easy to implement, and has top-notch customer support. We utilize this platform daily for everything project management-related, e.g., budgets, proposals, contracts, change orders, scheduling, invoicing, document storage, and client and trade partner communications. Integrating over from Co-Construct and Builder Trend was a breeze with the help of our project success manager, Marley Fisher.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

Job Tread is designed for contractors who utilize cost plus or time and material contracts, not fixed price contracts. As a design-build contractor who works solely with fixed-price contracts, there are limitations to how we can receive approvals for selections from clients during our project development phase via the built-in workflow of the platform without using the customary forms of selections and allowances that most of the industry uses for cost-plus contracts. However, there are workarounds we've come up with through the platform that suit our needs.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

I could go on forever about why JobTread's features are better than every other construction software out there, but I don't think that's the main reason I like it so much. While JobTread's features are impressive, it's actually the company behind it that truly sets it apart. The major selling point, in my opinion, is that entire JobTread team and user base feels like a true community, and that’s mostly because they have an incredibly dedicated and ambitious leader in their CEO, Eric. 

I don’t think I can overstate the talent that he’s been able to consolidate into one group. From the sales and outreach to the developers and designers, they exhibit a true passion for their product and a sense of commitment to their customers that you rarely see in a tech company. They genuinely care about their users’ lives and businesses, and will do whatever it takes to help us succeed. They are all extremely helpful in their online community threads, and go out of their way (even on nights and weekends) to respond to questions, requests, and even push out updates or fix bugs.

The app has a feature request board built directly into it, where users can request and vote on new features or improvements, which is then directly pushed to the developers. The process is simple — they build the features with the most votes. This means that the users themselves are directly steering the boat, which creates a sense of personal investment in the product from everyone who uses it.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

As of right now, where I think JobTread has the most room for improvement with selections/specifications, and in some areas with expense management, invoicing (particularly with cost-plus). That being said, I know they are working on this updates to these features currently, so there's a good chance this changes in the next few months!

And as much as I love that JobTread displays so much information, there are some screens and dashboards that I wish were a little more refined and user-friendly. Sometimes it can feel a little overwhelming at first (especially for those not as tech-savvy), but you get used to it.

**What problems is JobTread solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More like, what problems is JobTread NOT solving? The core benefit of JobTread comes from the budgeting and job costing features. At the end of the day, you can't run a business if you can't understand the numbers. JobTread offers so much flexibility and really empowers contractors to look at their financials in a different way. It’s hard to explain until you really start working with it. The way you can configure a budget to display information in a way that actually makes sense. It makes some decisions for you (like specific columns for estimate, expenses, income and profit), but you are free to arrange them however you like to create real-time reports directly in the budget itself. 

Another problem JobTread solves is that it allows us to consolidate so many other tools into one place. There's no more context switching between different apps for messaging, spreadsheets, bookkeeping, scheduling, task management and files. And not only does it replace these other apps, it actually does most of it better!

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

We are a small company with limited resources, and Job Tread has been great.  We've used the bigger companies before and nothing fit.  Job Tread has been super accomodating for our unique construction delivery methods, even helping create a job costing database.  Lastly, each time I have a quick question or can't find something, my customer service rep is quick to respond with a short tutorial video or a zoom call.  I'm talking within minutes, not hours or days.  Marley is the best!

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

Honestly nothing..  I'm a small company with 4 paid users and have zoomed several times with my CSM and even the owner!

**What problems is JobTread solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a unique construction delivery method and JT has stepped up and helped us immediately when questions arise.  We are able to be nimble and adapt to specific needs of our clients because Job Tread has given us the ability to be flexible.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

We've implemented and evaluated many construction management software programs. After years of wasted time and money on programs that were very expensive and/or problematic in one or more ways, we built our own spreadsheet-based system out of necessity...until we found JobTread. It was a relief to finally find CM software that was great in every aspect: CRM, estimating, timesheets, schedules, contracts, file sharing, site reports, technical support, and collaborating with external users. This is a total game-changer making all our project admin way better and way more efficient. Highly recommend

We fully implemented the system in little time with no issues and are getting positive feedback from clients and vendors whether for our flagship $4M residential project or smaller reno projects. We use all functions in JobTread and have no detractions

We love how easy it was to onboard, how intuitive it is, all the integrations it has with other business applications, and most of all we LOVE the customer service. The team at JT is always there for timely and thorough answers to questions, really listen to our feedback, and are constantly releasing improvements that WE have asked for. Plus they really put on a first-class fantastic conference to help us learn how to better use the system, network with other professionals, as well as grow our businesses. We depend on this system every day to help us get our jobs done!

Job tread is very easy to use, the customer support is there whenever I need them, and the platform has so many features that I can continue to add pieces as we grow without the need to build them all out from the start.

I have tried numerous softwares and JobTread is by far the best for numerous reasons. It is very affordable, it's packed with features, and their support is awesome. It has helped our company tremendously.

There are definitely some features that need improved or critical features that need added. However, they definitely listen to their customers feedback and are constantly making updates and improvements.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

I have never LOVED a piece of software before JobTread.. Every day my team and I are blown away by the features and how well though out and intuitive job tread is compared to everything else we have tried and ive looked into everything out there. We have 30 projects going on in our other software and have decided to make the switch as fast as possible. We can tell their team “have been through the stuff” and know and understand the complexity and nuances of the building and remodeling processes. We love the fact their trying to take all the feedback and lessons learned throughout the industry and the job tread community to constantly improve the software this is truly revolutionizing to the industry and making the daily lives of all the builders and trades out there a lot easier, more organized , professional, profitable and enjoyable.

Our clients have even been commenting and impressed. I think our close rate is increasing already by switching to job tread. When we can bring a client in and set them up with the portal right away and communicate so effortlessly though the software the confidence it gives the client who hasn’t worked with us before is a game changer.

Theres nothing i can think of its the best ive used and they are constantly imporoving based off community feedback.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

JobTread is an amazing company! We own a small general contracting business. We needed a software to help us organize our communication between clients, trades and employees. We also needed a software to help us better manage our schedule and communicate updates efficiently (without being super complicated). Finally we needed a software that could help us better track actual job costs to increase profitability and become better at estimating future projects. JobTread is our solution! 

JobTread staff listen to their customers' needs and actually work to make those changes. We have been with JobTread since September 2023, and in those short 8 months we have seen so much development from their team that benefits us as customers. I feel like they KNOW us and we KNOW them, which is RARE for a software company. If I have a question, I can text Bobby, my customer success manager, or hop on the Facebook group and receive immediate support from fellow users or the CEO Eric himself! (Anna and Travis are always helping too!)

JobTread is a solution that everyone loves -- our clients, our team and our trade partners. People who I never would expect to utilize the system, are using it! Because it is simple for them. As you can see, I cannot say enough great things about JobTread. If you are thinking about making the switch, just do it!

If I had to pick one thing, it is very minor. The document numbering system can get a little funky when integrating with QB.

Scheduling, trade partner/client/employee communication, job costing. JobTread makes these tasks possible, effective and simple!

Not all platforms are perfect for every business. That being said, however, JobTread fits our business model really well. The JobTread team has worked hard to implement updates and new features on an ongoing basis. So anything that hasn't worked exactly as we would like or need, has either already been resolved/added or is slated for future implementation. After trying two other platforms with little success, JobTread has been a game changer for us!

JobTread has allowed us a platform to have all project management components in one place. We are a design-build firm, and JobTread works well for us from design all the way through construction.

We absolutely love JobTread. It is a robust system with a lot of functionality. Their customer service, training and documentation is second to none. Our team has used MANY platforms and moving to JobTread has been a sigh of relief. It is robust enough to grow with us but easy enough to use that adoption has gone very well well! Special shout out to our dedicated service representative Ross who has gone above and beyond whenever we had a question and to Anna who consistently makes quality trainings! So thankful for the whole team.

Well thought out software.  Fast page loads.  Excellent estimating & proposals and the best handling of Allowances and Selections of any software available.  Allows for proper integration with Quickbooks online ( we use Dext to push receipts to QBO, then to Jobtread ) - your bookkeeper will love you for this.  They are developing the platform very fast, and more importantly, they're focused on the right things, like making estimates and proposals effortless.  They're not sidetracked by gimmicy stuff like a wast of time rebates portal where the software provider takes a huge cut of the rebate. They're focused on features that help their users make money rather than themselves.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

None really.  It's just a huge relief to finallly have found what I needed for our business.  But it would be great if they added google drive integration :)

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

Coming from a system specifically designed for our company, I love how flexible JobTread is and how easy it is to integrate with other systems. JobTread really helped with leaning off of our old system. At the beginning, we didn't have everything that we had in our old system but JobTread only continues to improve and develop as time goes on. Another aspect I loved about JobTread was how easy is was to implement it. The customer service team is very responsive and they are very good at prioritizing new updates and changes to the system. Overall, I am very happy with JobTread and excited to see what's in store.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

It seems JobTread is more so built for companies that do a few big jobs a year, rather than companies that do hundreds of small jobs a year. However, this never affected our experience in a large way and JobTread is flexible enough to be molded into a system that works for us.

The only other complaint I have is the lack of a designated notes sections. It seems every layer has a different section for notes and there isn't one single area that can be seen in all layers of a Customer. However this moreso comes into play when we have a particularly difficult customer or a customer with certain needs we need to accommodate.

JobTread solves the problem of variable estimates and prices. It really helped us with getting our estimators on the same page for creating proposals.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

JobTread is the best at listening to their users. They take time to give attention to every feature request and they specifically go out of their way to ask us how we would best use a new feature. They have a feature request tool that enables us to vote and add our own comments to feature requests. These can be anything from small changes to entirely new functionality. Without this attention to detail, they'd be like most of the other software companies out there.

They also have an energetic team behind the product. Their customer support team is always standing by to answer questions and they're so friendly and eager to help.

Our customer success manager, Michael, is available during office hours for a quick Zoom call to walk us through something that we're struggling with.

Their customer education director, Anna, is incredible with creating content and videos that explain every single feature of the platform and how to use it effectively. She walks through use cases and demonstrates how a business process can be streamlined with a certain feature. She also hosts crash courses for various roles in your business, such as Project Manager, Estimator, Sales, etc.

Their developers are nothing short of brilliant. They are so fast to adapt and fix any bugs, which are few and far between. If there's anything they can't do, it's because there is a software limitation on the device itself. They're developing JobTread in a modern language and architecture and it shows with how responsive and snappy the software is. Absolutely unreal what they're able to accomplish.

The ease of use is second to none. They specifically test new features with actual users to ensure they work well before they roll them out. And because the site is responsive, there's no need to worry about it working on any device you have. Whether that's a desktop monitor, laptop, iPad, or phone, it's going to resize the user interface to fit it in the best orientation possible.

We implented the software in no time at all. It was easy to set up and keep up to date. The export and import features make it simple to transfer data from our previous software provider. The cost catalog allowed us to quickly build out our products to save time in the estimating phase of each new job. Integration with other platforms is insanely easy with Zapier and their native integration with QBO is great. Very intuitive and everything transfers over without second thought.

We use it every day and I can't imagine my business without JT!

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

Honestly, there isn't much. Anything I might have previously disliked has already been resolved in a product update. They're so fast to fix things that are difficult to use.

**What problems is JobTread solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JobTread keeps all of my client communication in one place. It helps me work in fewer software platforms so I'm not going back and forth between applications. It's easy to answer client questions when I'm on the job site, as I can just pull up the budget, schedule, plans, and more right on my phone or iPad. Also, the client portal is easy to use and ultimately very impressive to my clients. Because of this, it has helped me win more jobs and has saved me hundreds of hours of time. That has allowed me to scale my business to new heights.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

I feel so lucky that I found JT early on in my business. The depth of its features are so impressive, and I've barely scratched the surface with them. I love how through using JT my books are clean and clear, I can plainly see whether I hit my profit goals or not, and which parts of the project were under or over budget. This data makes projecting easier, and makes it clear where to focus attention to improve on the next project. I've been in business for 2 years and have grown from a handywoman to a general contractor remodeler running almost 100% subcontractors in that short time. One of my main goals for 2024 is to establish systems for my business, by maximizing my use of JT with templates, tasks, building out our cost catalog, formulas, and making full use of the customer and vendor portals. My vision is to have my business run through JT and I know the infrastructure is in. place to make that happen. I recently hired an admin assistant and it was super easy to get her up and running by adding her as a user. Lastly, I can't write a review without mentioning the bar-none customer service that JT provides. They are literally proactive to make sure you're understanding everything, and not in an annoying way like some companies. The Facebook group is invaluable. I am continually stunned by the speed and quality of the feedback and updates from the JT team. I feel very lucky to have access to such an amazing program and its team. It's been critical for my growing company.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

Though I understand the reasoning behind the flow of documents in JT, sometimes I feel like I have to enter too much data to add in a simple unforeseen cost, or something similar. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding something, but I wish there were some shortcuts for things like that.

Other than that, I wish it were easier to learn everything - not any fault of the JT team, who are amazing at educating their customers - it's just a lot of time/intense to take full advantage of the software. Obviously there are always certain features I'd like to see that may not be available, but I'm confident the most needed ones will be added. For example, I'd like to be able to create custom reports. Again, I'm not taking full advantage of everything yet, so maybe that's already been added!

Everything. I have to be organized to make a profit (and have the records to maximize what I keep come tax time). I also keep track of my leads and customers in JT currently. I know what I make on every job. I could go on. Basically JT solves my problem of organizing everything in my business, which is helping me grow. You can't grow without efficiency. I'm able to have a system, rather than running things by the seat of my pants. It also adds professionalism to how I communicate with clients.

Jobtread is a powerful construction management software.  It's also very nimble.  It can be used by a large construction business or a small specialty trade.  It's easy to use once it's setup.  It integrates with other software that's important to running a business.

The thing that stands out the most to me is the absolutely amazing customer support that backs JobTread.  I've used several other "top products" and none of them compare.  The developers at JobTread are aggressively developing and adding features... and more specifically...features that WE are asking for.  They do this all while keeping it fine tuned and running well.  I guarantee, you won't find a more attentive team than that at JobTread.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

Honestly, the great amount of power that JobTread has...comes at a cost...  it has to be set up and that takes time.

Kinda the other side of the coin, if you will.

This makes it customizable to YOUR business, but does take time.

We do everything (concerning a Design-Build-Remodel Construction Co) in JobTread.  It gives me everything from a quick snapshot to where we are at a given moment or a detailed analysis of an individual project. My team of five uses JobTread daily to communicate seamlessly across multiple jobs.  We can chat amongst ourselves, or with customers, or with subs, all from the home screen.  All communication is easily visible to everyone, and you don't have to get copied on every email to achieve it!  Files, daily logs, calendars are all user friendly, intuitive and efficient. What I like best about JobTread is the budgeting feature - it is fantastic!  Better than any other project management software I've ever used.  Within weeks, my team was up and running in the software, preparing budgets, collecting bids, inputting selections, and creating contract documents.  The feeback from our clients and subs has been positive as well.  The customer support is out of this world.

So far, it's a short list!  Every issue I have encountered either has a simple workaround, or is being worked on as a feature request.

Before using JobTread we were using multiple programs to manage projects (Outlook for communication, Excel for estimates and selection schedules, Teams for in-office messaging, OneDrive for file storage, etc.).  Our process felt clunky and inefficient.  With JobTread we finally have a one-stop-shop for our projects!

The JobTread software has been very easy to use and setup, but their Customer Support is the most impressive thing about this company!  We have been very pleasantly surprised with how responsive they are and the lengths they go to in order to make sure their clients' questions are answered.  We have also been very impressed with how regularly JobTread is adding new features and options to the software.  We have made a number of feature requests that have made it to the top of the list and have been implemented.

There are a few things that JobTread doesn't do that our previous software was able to do - such as capturing and cropping receipts from a phone and converting them to PDF.  That is a feature update request that is being considered for the future, though

We had multiple issues with our previous construction estimating and management software.  JobTread has been a breath of fresh air to us!

It is built for builders.  It understands builders and it is flexible enough to allow us to create work flows that suit our needs but staying within the protective bounds of the programing.  The customer support that we have receieved and the energy and response time is unmatched in the industry.

There really isnt anything to dislike about JobTread.  That is not to say it is perfect, but the groundwork is there.  Sure, there are nuances that I would change but the development team listens and welcomes constructive criticism so all is well.  that is really all that you can ask for when working with a platform designed for ease of use with thousands of builders.

It is linking our project estimates, documents, correspondence, and team members together on one single platform from the lead establishment to closeout.  The less programs that we can have between point A and B, the better.

It has helped us to stay organized, know exactly where we are in the project, and show us in real-time when we are behind on tasks and how that affects our margins. I love that everything is in one place now! 

Before we job-costed with JobTread, we used our "little black book" to record our hours for the day. We thought we were doing good... Fast forward to the first job we tracked in JobTread and it told us a different story! We did not realize the tasks we were falling behind on or getting ahead of. We were able to adjust in real-time. When we saw one task getting behind and the profit margin getting lower, we were able to adjust and make it up in other places. It has helped us improve our margins after just one project!

The other aspect I love about JobTread is that everything is in one place now! I had a separate time-tracking app, task list, invoicing system, etc...Now I can do everything in one place! Some of my favorite features are: 

Task Lists-We set priorities for the day for each person in our company and can see when they are accomplished so everyone stays up to date. No more miscommunication.

Kanban Views-It's important for us to be able to track where our leads are in the sales pipeline. This view makes it easy!

Digital invoices and contracts- We send everything to our clients through JobTread where they can view their invoices, pay directly on the invoice, and electronically sign their contracts. 

Finally, I can't say enough about the customer service of this company! They truly feel like they are cheerleaders for our company. I felt special any time I had a question and Travis Lee would make me a video to help answer my questions! They truly listen to all the feature requests and do their best to make them happen to help make our life even more efficient. 

This company is going to high places...Jump on board now! By far the best company I have ever worked with! Thank you JobTread for caring about small businesses like ours enough to create this software for us.

The CRM is geared toward handling projects in JobTread but not as much toward leads. I would say this is the weakest point of JobTread. Once they improve this, it will be the gold standard of Project Management software!

The customer service that the Jobtread home team provides is top notch. We've mostly worked with Travis. He is  always available, is  extremely knowledgeable, is very  friendly, and wants to see you succeed. Travis goes above and beyond to help us get our workflow in order.  We're using Jobtread everyday for estimating, scheduling, and job costing.

I haven't discovered any downsides to using Jobtread.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

JobTread is created by software engineers that are also construction workers. That background makes their product the best!  It's both technically powerful and practical.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

Nothing comes to mind, but if forced to come up with something that I dislike, I can only think that in the Kanban view, searching for contacts takes a while to load if you have hundreds of customers in the database.

**What problems is JobTread solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a simple, well-thought-out program that helps us improve profitability!

I thought I had a good solution before JobTread, but I always wondered if something more tailored to construction companies existed.

It's simplifying our business because it is helping us stay organized in general, track job costs IN REAL TIME, manage jobs, assign tasks to team members, schedule with gantt charts, and reduce email inbox since it comes with a customer portal (and a vendor portal). That means you can have unlimited customers in your database. Having one place to manage everything for the business is truly a dream.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

We are custom homebuilders who converted to JobTread at the beginning of 2023. Since then, project management-- particularly building budgets, organizing files, sending invoices, and collecting bid requests-- has become, dare I say it, enjoyable. The software is accessible-- making it easy to get started-- but deep, with tons of available integrations-- making it easy to customize the platform to your needs.

On top of that, the customer support team-- from a designated Success Manager (with a direct phone number!) to a vibrant Facebook Group to the CEO himself-- is truly exceptional. Frankly, they set the standard so high even good companies pale in comparison.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

By the end of the year, JobTread will be launching a feature update that will completely overhaul its Client/Vendor communications. This will be excellent. Right now (Aug 2023) it is an exceptional project management tool, but only a decent communications tool.

**What problems is JobTread solving and how is that benefiting you?**

JobTread is helping us build budgets, send (and collect payment) on invoices, manage construction timelines, and organize documents. As custom homebuilders, our projects are often 24 months from initial contact to project completion. Organization is essential for projects this size and JobTread has helped use tremendously.

The customer service, learning the program, and frequent updates throughout my nine months with you have increased my business's gross income by 136%. I have not needed to hire anyone else for office work; I just needed to stay in the office more and hire more subcontractors for my Kitchen Remodels, Bathrooms Remodels, Basement build-outs, and deck builds.
Using JobTread has changed my family's life and my future for the best.

I know they have been implementing many updates over the nine months I have been with them. I wish they could have continued at a quicker pace. The home dashboard page for the user and customers needs to be more inviting and better organized.

JobTread is one of the best software tools I have used in any category and definitely the best system for builders I have ever seen--much better than Co-construct or BuilderTrend. The platform is easy to use, highly customizable, encourages best practices, and runs super fast. No more waiting for data to load!

The estimating, selections, and proposals tools are incredible. The options for customization are nearly endless. Once you set up some templates (easy to do, and the JobTread team will help you), you can create a detailed estimate and professional proposal with options and allowances in just minutes.

Daily logs, time tracking, and scheduling are super easy to use, and the recent activity log is a game changer. And every feature is available, and usable, on the mobile platform.

On top of all that, the JobTread team is very responsive when you need help, and they know their stuff!

Switching to JobTread has been a game-changer for my business. We are more organized, and we are turning out higher quality proposals, and more of them, than ever before!

A few features I would like are still missing from the platform, but the JobTread team is adding new features constantly, and the features I want are on their near-term roadmap.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

The thing that is most helpful about JobTread is that they are so attuned to their clients and our needs. I feel like in the construction space so many software solutions. Just want to tell me how I should run my business and their software "works the way it works" however, with JobTread they listen to me they ask what works and what doesn't work, they listen to our workflow, and when we run into an issue, they prioritize it and fix it when you pay someone monthly or software, you expect them to treat you like a customer monthly, this is what JobTread does really well. They never forget that we are in this together.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

Their greatest weakness is also their greatest strength. They are a small team, and while that makes them nimble and reachable, it also means that they don't have resources to devote to 10 different initiatives at the same time. However, at the speed at which they are developing this software, I have no complaints.

JobTread helps bring all of our disparate job information and put it in one central location. Everything from client contact information through the estimating process into sales and design and production. We call it the single source of truth for the lifespan of every project.

JobTread has immense flexibility for job costing, vendor management and customer management. The ease and usability of their software has made the transition from my current platform a breeze. After working through the software it has capabilities that you can tailor to the way you run your business. I strongly urge anyone to try this software out because you will not be disappointed.

The only compliant that I have about JobTread is the integration with Quickbooks. But the integration isn't really a JobTread issue it is more of a Quickbooks issue.

JobTread has created a software platform that addresses all the essential tasks of managing custom homes and remodels. From the initial demo the software appears basic but the capabilities of the software are endless if learn how to use it correctly.

**What do you like best about JobTread?**

JobTread is a pleasure to use as it is snappy and quick without all the fluff of opening a popup to make an edit, like BuilderTrend. The layout is easier to understand as it is somewhat similar to working with a spreadsheet in rows and columns, making the flow of use easier to understand and read.  I enjoy the team as there are a lot of rockstars behind creating this new product, the best out there.

**What do you dislike about JobTread?**

This new software is growing to suit more contractors out there and adapt to how contractors operate today. As with any new platform, there is a learning curve that takes a little getting used to, but in time, I am getting more fluid in how I use this. The support team and engineers want to know how to improve it and give an open ear and a dedicated page to hearing your requests. I also like that they show the recommendations that have been requested and are now resolved.
