What do you like best about Buildertrend?

I genuinely appreciate Buildertrend for its simplicity and versatility compared to our previous project management solutions. The help section and responsive bot provide precise solutions and steps, making the setup process quite intuitive for me. The scheduling feature is exceptionally useful in helping my engineering firm meet deadlines by clearly outlining project priorities from a client's perspective. Buildertrend addresses the challenge of aligning team priorities and managing deadlines effectively. The daily log is particularly invaluable as it meticulously maintains records of site visits and meetings with photos, alongside a robust 'to-do' section that saves significant time. The client weekly report feature enhances productivity by keeping clients well-informed. I find the daily log, scheduling, and chat sections stand out, as they help in updating projects, sharing information across departments, and keeping the clients updated about their projects. The management features of Buildertrend, particularly the daily log and scheduling functionalities, provide comprehensive updates from site visits to meeting notes, ensuring that project priorities are clear and deadlines are met. What do you like best about Buildertrend?

Buildertrend is easy to use and not at all glitchy. It is mostly intuitive and superior to other similar apps of its kind that I have used. I appreciate not having to log in every time I use it as I punch in and out of it four times a day. Photos upload quickly and with no trouble from my android device. What do you dislike about Buildertrend?

Switching between jobs while clocked in could be a bit simpler and easier to do.

The app could also do a better job of clearly distinguishing between which job is currently being displayed and which job the user is clocked in on.

My biggest complaint is that I receive constant (2-3 daily) email notifications regarding client activation and sub insurance expiration that have nothing at all to do with me, and I have not been able to disable email notifications no matter what I do. Buildertrend offers a platform that stores all of our necessary details, invoices, messages, and employee information in one place. The customer support is wonderful and have always had my questions answered when I've reached out. I use Buildretrend everyday and it is easy to use and navigate. What do you dislike about Buildertrend?

Not really a dislike, this is more of a wish - would love for the ability to be able to click on a schedule item and move it around the schedule instead of clicking into it and changing manually. What do you like best about Buildertrend?

We use BuilderTrend daily for almost all parts of our projects. We find their scheduling system allows us to keep all of our trades in the know about project timelines. We save all files to BuilderTrend for easy access in a single place, there's no trying to figure out where a document is. Keeping projects within budget is also in part due to BuilderTrend and being able to see costs and the budget throughout the entire construction period. What do you dislike about Buildertrend?

As with all programs, when updates happen is can occasionally throw a wrench in existing processes and result in relearning how to do something but that is normally done knowing that they have made something better by changing it. What do you like best about Buildertrend?

What I appreciate most is the ability to keep all my documents organized in one place. Having legally signed documents is especially convenient, as it's easy to capture signatures from the customer's perspective. I greatly appreciate Buildertrend for its vast functionality and the depth it offers in job estimation and tracking. The ability to manage and track jobs, along with the impressive cost analytics, has been integral to the success of my home remodeling business. Buildertrend's features have empowered me to determine job performance effectively, helping me identify which aspects of a job are performing well and which team members are excelling based on their performance metrics. The analytic features are particularly useful, providing me with valuable insights that contribute to informed decision-making. The software's ease of setup, supported by an attentive representative, made the transition smooth without any difficulty. I also find the exporting capabilities beneficial, allowing me to run cost reports and use it as an estimation tool for bidding on jobs accurately. What do you like best about Buildertrend?

Customer Service and obviously an ecosystem that works.

We use Buildertrend every day for every aspect of our custom home project management, from communication, to documents archiving, to invoicing Clients and paying subs/vendors.

I love that they keep making improvements to it and keep thinking of ways to make it work better for us.

The custom support is our of this world. I have no idea how I can reach a human anytime I need help within on average 2 minutes. Blows my mind every time and every one is so knowledgeable and helpful.

I always like how it integrates with QB, though there are slight improvements to be made.

What do you dislike about Buildertrend?

Being very attentive to detail by nature, I tend to stubble upon little things that could have been made better. But overall it's difficult to dislike anything about the software.

To be fair, it's not a perfect system, but it is an excellent one. Lightyears ahead of any other project management software.

What do you like best about Buildertrend?

All pertinent documents and job plans can be posted to a job. Completing daily logs to keep track of progress on jobs. Uploading photos of progress and issues so office can view in real time and figure out solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buildertrend?

If you upload a photo to the photos tab instead of under a job, it doesn’t get categorized properly. The photo just gets uploaded to the generic photos category and people trying to reference the photo. Have a hard time finding it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
