## ClickUp Reviews
 ### 1. ClickUp: flexible and comprehensive for managing projects, tasks, and documents in one place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabio P. | Senior Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I appreciate most about ClickUp is its flexibility: I can manage projects, tasks, and documents in one place, customizing the views (list, board, calendar) according to how I work. The automations save me a lot of time on repetitive tasks, and the integration with other tools I use is convenient. Overall, my experience is positive.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only aspect that has given me some headaches concerns occasional technical problems: in particular, the data refresh is not always immediate, so sometimes I have to reload the page to see the most recent updates. Nothing blocking, but a more responsive data loading would improve the daily user experience.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me especially in team management and monitoring ongoing work. Before, we struggled to have a clear view of who was doing what and the status of each activity: information was scattered among chats, emails, and spreadsheets. With ClickUp, I centralized everything in one place, assigning tasks to the right people with well-defined deadlines and priorities. The dashboards and different views (list, board, calendar) allow me to track the progress of work in real-time and intervene immediately when something risks falling behind. The result is a better distribution of the workload within the team, fewer alignment meetings, and greater punctuality in deliveries.

 ### 2. ClickUp Makes Recurring Tasks and Team Templates Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bekah G. | Marketing Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I'm a to-do list person, so ClickUp is amazing at being my to-do list without having to rewrite recurring tasks. This is especially helpful for tasks that occur less frequently. As soon as I finish a task, I can make any adjustments needed and know that those changes will be there when I return to the task next time.

Also, I love being able to customize fields and templates making it easy for my team to operate within the same framework. Overall, ClickUp is easy to use and you can adjust it to fit your team's needs.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't like that I am unable to share tasks across ClickUp workspaces. I am in a client's ClickUp workspace, but I am unable to share a task from their workspace to our team's workspace. So if there is a task that I need someone from our team to accomplish and they are not in the client's workspace, I have to remake/duplicate the task in our workspace.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is solving workflows and helping us create standards for implementing tasks, saving time and making us more efficient. I am able to view the overall status of my team's tasks as well as the statuses of their individual tasks.

 ### 3. ClickUp: powerful integrations and great performance all in one platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Omar M. | Regional Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Previously, I have worked with project management tools like Trello or Jira, and tracking tools like Slack, but I have always felt that they have limitations in what can be done within them. With ClickUp, this doesn't happen; it has many integrations with useful tools and the most used ones in my business environment like Drive and Gmail, all through the same user interface which makes it easier to use. The performance is very good, it allows managing different projects simultaneously and different spaces without losing efficiency. The AI agent tools it integrates are opening the door to new possibilities within the company and allow us to migrate administrative processes to execute them in ClickUp in a much more centralized way. As for the price, it seems quite reasonable for the benefits, and what we liked the most is the support from the account manager, who always has a great attitude to resolve our doubts.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are important areas for improvement in the use of AI agents, having a clear visualization of credit consumption would be very valuable to be able to experiment and refine agents.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me keep information organized within the same environment, maintains the tracking of my multiple projects in an orderly manner, and allows me to collaborate with my different teams efficiently.

 ### 4. Powerful Integrations and Agent Capabilities That Add Real Value

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Damon R. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like the variety of integrations it offers with my other tools and software. I also appreciate the Agents capabilities, which add a lot of value to how I use it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There needs to be better onboarding. ClickUp does so much that, as a brand-new user, it can feel overwhelming, and it’s not always clear where to start. That was especially true for me as a one-person operation. ClickUp seems geared more toward larger teams, but there’s still real value in it for small businesses like mine.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me stay organized and on track. My app is mostly vibe-coded, which let me move very quickly at the beginning. Now that I have hundreds of users, the focus has shifted to making sure everything runs smoothly and that there’s a clear plan.

As a career product manager, I understand the importance of planning ahead, getting frequent customer input, updating plans as I learn more, and delivering software that solves real problems for the end user. Vibe coding and formal product management don’t always mesh, but I use ClickUp to bridge that gap so I can deliver the right enhancements at the right time.

 ### 5. Excellent project management app

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhamodharan R. | Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2022

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the improved UI and navigation, which make the platform easy to use. Task creation, assignment, and tracking are quick and straightforward. The dashboards and reporting features provide good visibility into project progress, and it's easy to monitor task status and team workloads in one place. And the new

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Overall, I am very satisfied with ClickUp and have not encountered any major issues so far. One area that could be improved is performance, as some pages and dashboards can occasionally feel slow when working with large projects or a high volume of tasks. Additionally, further enhancements to ClickUp Brain's accuracy and contextual understanding would make it even more valuable for day-to-day work.

Other than these minor improvements, the platform works very well and meets our project management needs effectively.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Plan, track, and manage any type of work in my projects. Easy integrations with github commits and what not. Easy track of changes, tasks statuses and pending works

**Official Response from Shanee Shepardson:**

> Hey, Dhamodharan!

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying a productivity boost with ClickUp!

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all!

Have an amazing and productive day!

 ### 6. ClickUp can be workplaces essentials if you have time to spare

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Willis L. | Director of Agent Experience, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp over the years updated added nifty features but most of it was tied to costly add-ons and didn't truly increase the overall value of the product. With the introduction of AI and Agents into the platform the experience for our team began to grow frustrating as the platform would have sync issues, would be extremely slow, and the biggest pain point was our automations breaking and/or just not functioning properly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are many frustrating quirks, the worst one being the shared view, when I am searching for something on a board, that shouldn't force everyone else to only see my view. Everyone should have their own views of boards they have access to by default. Also more intuitive templates, or AI designed to address ways boards could be more effective and actually help building.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time management, communication and organization were huge hurdles for our leadership team, but with ClickUp the ease of use, (after watching a lot of CU videos on Youtube) made us realize that it's an all-in-one stop for all things management and communication and truly saves time.

 ### 7. ClickUp helps agencies keep their projects moving!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey W. | President, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 11, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The AI Notetaker is a game-changer for my meetings. I used to take handwritten notes, and this allows me to focus more on the meeting. I also like some of the updates tot he planner like the timesheets.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's still a LOT to learn, but I think everyone usually finds the things that they truly need, and then they become routine.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It houses all of my SOPs. I honestly never had standard operating procedures, it was all in my head. That was fine when I was a solopreneur, but once I added an assistant, I realized I need to document things, not only for him, but if I ever needed to replace him. Now, it saves me time with more complex projects because I don't have to remember how I did it before, I just look back at my ClickUp SOP and it's all right there. I feel like I have more of an official business now. It also makes me feel better knowing if my current assistant ever leaves, I can have someone new take over much faster and with less of my one-on-one attention.

 ### 8. Our business wouldn't be the same without ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nawzad H. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

More recently, they’ve rolled out a few AI features that have been genuinely useful for the team.

We’ve been using them a lot to speed things up across the board. Creating tasks, updating tasks, taking notes, and even small things like the calendar integration that surfaces upcoming events. It saves a surprising amount of time and helps make sure everyone is turning up to meetings on time.

It’s also relatively cost-effective for everything it offers. Honestly, our business wouldn’t be the same without ClickUp. We’d still be able to operate, but we’d be running far less efficiently.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One area ClickUp could really improve is offering more support around simplifying the platform for users.

It’s very easy to overcomplicate ClickUp, but in our experience it works best when you keep things as simple as possible. More resources and guidance on how to set up ClickUp in the most efficient way would make a big difference.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our tasks used to be all over the place. Now it's all in one place.

 ### 9. Flexible, All-in-One Project Hub That Fits How Your Team Works

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago B. | Information Security Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Flexibility is what stands out most to me. I can shape ClickUp to fit how my team actually works, rather than forcing our process into a rigid template. Features like custom statuses, custom fields, and multiple views (list, board, calendar) make it easy to adapt to very different kinds of work.
Just as valuable is having everything in one place. Tasks, projects, and documentation all live in the same platform, so I’m not constantly jumping between a task manager, a separate docs tool, and a collaboration app. For day-to-day project management and keeping the team aligned, that kind of consolidation saves real time.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There’s a real learning curve. The same flexibility that makes ClickUp powerful can also feel overwhelming at first: setting up a workspace properly takes time, and new team members usually need some onboarding before they’re comfortable. Another weak spot is the mobile app. It works, but it feels noticeably less capable and less smooth than the web version, so I try not to do much beyond quick checks or small updates on my phone.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp gives my team a single source of truth for tasks, project tracking, and documentation. Rather than scattering work across multiple tools, we can manage assignments, track progress, and keep our docs together in one workspace. This improves visibility into who’s doing what, cuts down the friction of constantly switching between apps, and keeps our knowledge and day-to-day work side by side. Overall, it makes collaboration feel noticeably more organized and easier to stay aligned.

 ### 10. ClickUp – AI Agent & AI Notetaker: Enhancing Task Management and Team Productivity

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guilherme J. | Gerente de projetos sênior, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is its flexibility and the ability to centralize project management, tasks, documentation, dashboards, and automations in a single platform. It provides strong visibility across teams, helps standardize processes, and offers highly customizable workflows that can adapt to different business needs. The automation capabilities and reporting features are especially helpful for improving efficiency and executive visibility.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One of the main limitations I’ve noticed in ClickUp is the lack of more advanced formula capabilities compared to specialized project management and work management platforms. While the existing formulas cover basic calculations, they can become restrictive when dealing with complex business logic, cross-project calculations, conditional reporting, or advanced financial tracking. This sometimes requires workarounds, manual processes, or external tools to achieve the desired level of analysis and automation.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps solve the challenge of managing tasks, projects, and team collaboration in a centralized system. Instead of relying on multiple disconnected tools, it provides a single workspace for planning, execution, tracking, and reporting. Additionally, the integration of AI agents helps automate routine work, generate content, summarize information, and support decision-making, which improves productivity and allows teams to focus on higher-value activities. As a result, project visibility, accountability, and operational efficiency are significantly improved.

 ### 11. Too many basic features have moved to PRO version

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** chinmayyee r. | Lead Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

While they have introduced a lot of useful new features, like ChatGPT integrated within ClickUp, I cannot expand into basic features (for team sizes less than 5) without being blocked at multiple points for a paid plan. For the first 5 years, they marketed it as "forever free," and one gets used to generating X number of tasks and looking at X type of reports, which is now slowly being moved into paid plans, which is a big minus point for their user base. The dashboard speed works great! I have never faced downtime on ClickUp to date. I have tried connecting my email to ClickUp to help me directly add emails as tasks, which has been a great addition. For any issues that I've faced to date, the ClickUp team has responded within 24 hours. (Although initially a bot responds to your issues) I'm glad to know it's received and will be solved within 24 hours. There have been no issues on that front as well.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Their interface has gotten very cluttered over the years and features released are often hidden, they can probably work on highlighting feature releases either through regular emailers. Also when it comes to discovering features, i feel cluttering up the main UI where one views tasks isnt the way to go, product discovery can be seamless without it being on the face all the time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clickup is solving for -
1) Keeping track of mine + teams weekly assigned tasks
2) Amount of time my team spends on each of these tasks and what work can ideally be redistributed based on current workload
3) Solves the part where I had to manually remind my team of tasks - Now I can just assign and forget - They will pick it up and close it. There is no scope where I assign, and I hear "Oh I forgot" - its always close your tasks before the week is done.
Annex - ClickUp right now is solving for fewer use cases than it used to before. Earlier, I used to keep my entire project management (of myself and my team) on ClickUp. This involved all arenas like tasks, time, email, and calendar management. If I explore a feature, I'm worried about "unlearning" this as it can move to a paid plan at any point in time.

 ### 12. Affordable and excellent option for teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zoey H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The shared boards have chat channels too, which have proven valuable on larger-scale projects, as we are not fans of using Slack or similar tools and prefer to have it in one place.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

We would also like to see improved form-building functionality. We've dabbled with it, but always go back to Jotform.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an international team, we need a quick and easy way to keep everyone on track without a see of emails. At the same time, I need to be able to see where all projects are, as does our Founder. ClickUp helps us individually see what needs to be actioned, but it also helps us plan workflow and track project completion. It allows us to collaborate quickly and easily through functions such as blocking i.e., I set myself tasks that can only be completed once our Designer completes the assets. This allows me to switch off from that task mentally and know that I will be notified when it can move forward, rather than having to remember and check, using up valuable mental bandwidth!

 ### 13. very powerful in terms of functionality, a point of attention to performance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matteo G. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I'm really impressed by how ClickUp manages to be incredibly powerful yet highly intuitive. It adapts perfectly to multiple workflows and project contexts. The notification system is a standout feature—it's robust and keeps everything organized seamlessly. Additionally, their customer service is top-tier; whenever I’ve reached out, the team has been remarkably fast, professional, and helpful

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp is incredibly feature-rich, there is room for improvement regarding overall platform performance. Occasionally, I experience slow load times or lag when opening various tasks, which can disrupt workflow momentum. Additionally, I would love to see a more unified, centralized data-entry feature. For instance, when managing CRM-style records like 'Companies' and 'Contacts', having a single custom page or form where filling out fields automatically maps and populates the information into their respective sections would be a massive efficiency booster.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us stay on top of our daily tasks and has definitely improved our communication

 ### 14. ClickUp Brings Projects, Docs, Dashboards, and Team Updates Into One Place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DANIELLA H. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is that it has become an all-in-one tool for our team. Since adopting ClickUp, we’ve been able to bring more of our daily operations into one platform instead of relying on multiple tools. We’ve replaced tools like Trello for project management and reduced our dependency on Slack by keeping more communication and updates within tasks. We also use ClickUp Docs for documentation and Dashboards for reporting instead of managing everything through separate spreadsheets. Having everything connected in one place makes it easier to manage workflows, track progress, and keep the team aligned.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I’d like to see improved is the AI capabilities. While ClickUp has started adding AI features, I think there’s still a lot of room to make them more powerful and better integrated into daily workflows. More advanced AI support for things like automating repetitive tasks, summarizing project updates, and providing smarter insights would make ClickUp even more valuable for teams managing complex projects.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us solve the challenge of having too many disconnected tools and processes. It gives us one central place to manage projects, communicate updates, document processes, track progress, and create reports. As a Project Manager, this helps me improve visibility across tasks, keep the team aligned, manage priorities better, and make sure important details don’t get missed. Having everything connected in one platform saves time and makes our workflows more organized and efficient.

 ### 15. Powerful productivity hub with a steep learning curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** wajiha t. | AI Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has completely transformed our project management workflow by serving as an all-in-one hub, saving our team roughly five hours each week through its intuitive drag-and-drop Kanban interface and automated status updates. However, because the platform is so incredibly feature-dense and customizable, new users should expect a steep learning curve during the first few weeks of onboarding.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is incredibly powerful, but its high customizability creates a steep learning curve and occasional performance lag with large projects.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before adopting ClickUp, our team struggled to track tasks across scattered spreadsheets and messaging apps, which caused missed deadlines and constant alignment meetings. Implementing the platform unified our entire workflow into a single source of truth, allowing us to completely automate task handoffs and progress tracking. This transition eliminated the manual overhead we used to face, resulting in a measurable 30% reduction in weekly status meetings and saving each team member roughly five hours every week

 ### 16. Powerful Project Management Software with a Clean, Modern Kanban UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Md. Azharul I. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most is how it handles absolutely everything for my solo development workflow. The UI is incredibly clean, and the overall UX makes navigating between my code planning and documentation super intuitive. In terms of performance, the platform is consistently snappy and responsive, even when I have heavy Kanban boards loaded with custom fields and attachments.

The integrations are a lifesaver syncing my GitHub commits directly to my active task cards keeps my progress tracked automatically without manual updates. Getting started was easy too; the onboarding process was straightforward, and their support documentation is actually helpful when setting up advanced automations.

For the pricing, the ROI is fantastic because it effectively replaces the separate wiki, bug tracker, and time-management apps I used to pay for. On top of that, the built-in AI intelligence is a great bonus; I use it constantly to summarize my messy architecture notes into clean, actionable task checklists. It really just does it all.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main downside is the steep learning curve and onboarding process. Because the platform packs in so many features, it can feel completely overwhelming for new team members at first, and you have to spend a lot of time configuring it so people don't get lost in the menus. From a performance standpoint, the app can occasionally feel a bit heavy and slow to load when you have a massive project board with tons of active custom fields. Also, the built-in AI assistant features feel a little forced right now—the automated summaries are okay, but the AI intelligence could be a lot smarter and better integrated into actual task management rather than just feeling like a basic text generator.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before I started using ClickUp, I really struggled with keeping my solo projects organized. I was tracking my coding tasks in one app, writing my system architecture and API docs in another, and trying to manage my overall timeline somewhere else entirely. It was a fragmented mess, and I wasted a lot of time just trying to figure out what I needed to work on next.

Now, I have a single source of truth for all my development work. I can link my technical documentation directly to my active task lists. This solves my biggest problem of constant context-switching. The main measurable benefit is the time I get back—I easily save a couple of hours every week just by having my entire workflow in one centralized place, which lets me actually focus on writing code instead of managing it.

 ### 17. One tool that replaced several for us

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Clayton H. | Chief Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best is that it consolidates everything into one place. Before ClickUp I had project tracking, client work, and team coordination scattered across different tools, and now it all lives in one system. I can manage our projects, keep client deliverables on track, and keep the team coordinated without bouncing between apps. That single-source-of-truth setup has been the biggest win for us over the past year.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Honestly not much. The main thing is that there's a bit of a learning curve up front — there are so many features that it took some time to set things up the way we wanted and get the whole team comfortable with it. Once you're past that initial setup, it runs smoothly.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solved the problem of having our work spread across too many disconnected tools. Now project management, client deliverables, and team collaboration all happen in one place, so nothing falls through the cracks and everyone knows what they're responsible for. The biggest benefit has been visibility. I can see the status of projects and client work at a glance instead of chasing updates across different apps.

 ### 18. Unrivaled flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian F. | IT Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It is able to perform a multitude of different functions & roles. The information can be tailored to specific departments or personnel to make collaboration much more efficient and seamless. So, it has tremendous flexibility to solve a number of issues well beyond the scope of task management, and you will continue to find more uses for it as you develop further with the application. If you start out tackling specific problems and then expand, it is easy to get started, but I have seen people go too big too soon and overwhelm personnel.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The thing most people struggle with is there are often multiple ways to tackle a problem using the software, so flexibility is a bit of a double-edged sword, and it does take some time to get your head around having different views and having some info on some screen but not on others based on how it is set up. Speed-wise, the software is sufficient, but any additional speed would be appreciated.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We try to keep everything inside of ClipUp, and having the flexibility to take on just about anything means that it has almost become the operating system of the business.

 ### 19. An Excellent and Flexible Tool for HR and Recruitment Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hamilton Q. | HR Transformation and Growth Leader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is its incredible flexibility and customization. As an HR professional, I use it to manage our talent acquisition pipelines and candidate tracking. The ability to switch between Board view (like Kanban) and List view makes it very easy to see exactly what stage each candidate is in, from screening to final interview. The custom fields are also perfect for tracking key details like notice periods and interview feedback.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Because ClickUp has so many features and customization options, the learning curve can be a bit steep for new users at the beginning. It takes some time to configure everything perfectly, and the mobile app can sometimes feel a bit slower compared to the desktop version when loading heavy tasks.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solved our problem of fragmented communication and scattered candidate spreadsheets. It helps me centralize all HR tasks, onboarding checklists, and documentation in one single place. This saves me a lot of time every day, prevents candidates from falling through the cracks, and ensures a smooth onboarding experience for our new hires.

 ### 20. Centralize the organization of my projects in a single application.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Miguel G. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp allowed me to combine different tools I used before, like Trello, a shared calendar, Teamgantt, and another application for managing projects or ideas, into a single application. Now, instead of having work on different platforms, I have it all in one place. I was also surprised at how easy the initial setup was, especially when importing all the projects and boards I had from Trello, as it was super easy. This made the onboarding process much easier for me.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I like least about ClickUp is that it keeps getting bigger and adds a lot of functionality. There is no option to customize it to fit what I need; of all its functionalities, I only use 20%, and the remaining 80% is unnecessary and even bothersome to me. It also bothers me that they try to include artificial intelligence in everything, even when it's not necessary. It's a hassle to constantly see a message inviting you to use AI when I neither want nor need it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me organize tasks by projects, prioritize, and maintain team feedback within each context. I like that it brings together different tools in one place, simplifying my workflow by unifying Trello, shared calendars, and other applications I was using into a single application.

 ### 21. A One-Stop Shop: Custom Dashboards, Easy Navigation, and Smooth Slack Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gisela J. | Office Manager & Executive Assistant to Financial Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love that its a one stop shop for me to use in my business as well as my clients. Once you get use to the system, its easy to navigate with custom dashboards and use drag and drop features, and for me, I can customise it to function well for my clients and their needs. It has very little downtime and I haven't experienced a lot glitches. It integrates easily with slack (the communication tool we use most), so clients and team members are kept in the loop. And the pricing works well for smaller businesses and larger, growing teams.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I would love to have better reporting in terms of time tracking for staff. And particularly to be able to assign hours to client and then keep a record of how much has been used and what is left.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp makes managing teams super easy, I can view exactly what each person is working on and where they need support quickly and easily. This means client deliverables aren't missed. It allows clients to submit tasks easily via a form we created and they are kept up to date within slack about the progress.

It is also a great tool to keep track of podcasting and speaking engagements, and the team knows exactly what needs to be done, created, booked, etc. And all with minimal involvement from me or the client.

 ### 22. Incredibly Versatile and Powerful Work Management Tool, Worth the Investment but Takes Time to Learn

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex M. | Professional Services Practice Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2025

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is extremely versatile and allows me to create solutions for practically any business case or process. The automations and AI agents are also super powerful! I can setup automatic actions via logic or via AI prompts to run do just about any action in ClickUp I can imagine. Lastly, just the pace of product updates. There are truly significant feature updates every month and the company is heavily invested in its growth.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Its versatility is also a hurdle: many things are complicated to setup because so much is customizable (unless you just use templates or AI-generated workflows, etc.). Some comparatively basic features in other tools aren't available here, at least yet, like Subfolders. And it can get pretty slow sometimes when there are tons of tasks or fields at play. You can definitely get away with self-implementing ClickUp and not having a real administrator, however a lot of teams really seem to need someone to manage the platform.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use ClickUp for just about everything internally: marketing, internal operations, client onboarding, project management. and OKRs. The only thing we don't run out of ClickUp is payroll (the actual invoicing) and our sales pipeline, for which we use the dedicated CRM HubSpot. ClickUp's heavy lean on AI features is really interesting and lends itself well to just about any business use we'd have.

 ### 23. Great UI/UX, Seamless Experience, and Strong Google Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco G. F. | Head of Process Innovation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The UI and UX are great. ClickUp does have a learning curve, but after the initial onboarding process, the experience becomes seamless. Performance on my Mac is excellent, whether I’m using it in the browser or in the native app. In terms of pricing and ROI, it’s a great option if you actually use all of its features, since it can replace other software. The integrations with Google apps—my company’s main ecosystem—are also strong, including Drive, Calendar, Email, and more. The AI integrations are great, either to give context in chats, create and automate tasks, and you can go beyond with agents.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The initial onboarding process requires training and can become quite complex for some users when first used.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool helps us manage tasks and keep the main points of communication for my company in one place. The time tracking, dashboards, and management reporting give us valuable context, which makes it easier to make informed decisions.

 ### 24. Versatile Task Management with Minor Search Flaws

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa A. | Bilingual Client Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp every day to manage my tasks, and I really love the user interface. It's easy to understand and each notification is linked to organized tasks. It works as a tracking platform that connects multiple other platforms and aligns everything in one place. I also appreciate the AI features to create great interview questions. The form option lets us create requests that ping the right people. The color code is organized, and each client has a designated folder where I can see live updates from the team. It helps us track our monthly KPIs. Setting it up was really easy, and although it was confusing at the beginning, once you get it, it's really good.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only thing I don't like is the search option. It takes time for the software to find some tasks. It's frustrating when you want to look for something and sometimes the AI pops up immediately instead of asking before opening.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp every day to manage video production tasks, connecting my role as a senior customer success manager to the production team. It tracks everything in one place, organizes tasks with notifications, and its AI features help create interview questions.

 ### 25. ClickUp Keeps Getting Better: Great Features, Training, and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna N. | Project Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Allthough I very much like the features of ClickUp, the best thing I think is that there is continuos improvement and development, I like that there are always new features coming out, the second best thing is the education and support service, there are many ways to improve ones clickup skills, and there is always somewhere to turn, when I get stuck setting up a process or using a feature, which is very nice!
I like that there are a lot of personalisation tools and automations, which can support our workflows well

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it is hard to find something, as the search feaure doesnt always work and filter the way i would like

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping all information in one place in a project, like relevant emails, Sharepoint site links and so on, while being able to delegate tasks and collaborate online/afar so communication is clear and information doesnt get lost in translation, therefore saving time and boosting performance
also there are a few administrativ burdens and busy work that automations do for us, so we can focus on our work, templates also help a lot in this aspect

 ### 26. ClickUp as a QA Hub: Powerful API Automation and Custom Fields for Test Management

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rega S. | Software Quality Assurance Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As a Lead QA, ClickUp has become the central hub for managing our testing activities. One of the features I value most is its API capability, which allows us to automate reporting and integrate our testing workflows directly with ClickUp. We've even leveraged the API to automatically generate test cases and create them within ClickUp tasks, significantly reducing manual effort and keeping our test documentation aligned with development activities.

Another feature that has been extremely valuable for our QA process is Custom Fields. We use them extensively to manage bug tracking, test case repositories, and regression test executions. By creating custom fields such as Test Type, Priority, Module, Execution Status, Environment, and Release Version, we can organize and filter thousands of test cases efficiently. During regression cycles, these fields make it much easier to build test execution lists, track progress, and generate reports for stakeholders without relying on external tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest challenge was the learning curve. When I first started using ClickUp, the number of features, views, and customization options felt overwhelming. It took time to understand the best structure for our team and establish processes that worked consistently. New users may need some patience before they can fully benefit from the platform.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp, information was spread across multiple tools, making it difficult to track testing progress and maintain visibility across projects. ClickUp helped centralize our workflows, test management, reporting, and collaboration in one place. As a result, our team has better visibility, improved traceability, and reduced administrative work. The ability to automate processes through the API has been especially valuable in scaling our QA operations efficiently.

 ### 27. Amazing Functionality with Seamless Team Communication and Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stanko G. | Service Delivery Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The functionality is amazing, and the smooth blend of team communications and project management is what we have been looking for for quite some time now. Pricing is very fair, and the integrated AI functionality has proved to be very valuable. The interface is very nice, easy to use, and easy to master. It integrates well with Google Workspace and that has proven to be very valuable to my team. It does not glitch or slow down ever, and the support we received during the onboarding has been amazing.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Reporting dashboard could be better organized, along with timesheets.
Those could be more streamlined.
Regarding the dashboard, it seems it takes a lot of configuration, and sometimes the app does not recognize data points that it clearly has available.
For example, we do PTO management through ClickUp, and I wanted a view of how many PTO days were taken per employee this year.
I got the notification that the data to do that is not available, but it was, since every PTO request has a start date and an end date, that also contains the year.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It finally solves the issue we were having with needing multiple tools for communication, reporting, and project management, all at the same time.
In the past we struggled, because things would fall through the cracks since we used Slack for communications and GitHub for project management. Now that problem of connecting messages with specific tasks has been solved.

 ### 28. Versatile Task Management with Room for Automation Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tulio G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love that ClickUp lets us store a variety of project types like periodic maintenances, one-time requests, milestones, and meeting notes. It's great that everything can be labeled, and the table management feels like using a familiar spreadsheet, which helps integrate more digital spaces. I like setting up flows and the ability to quickly move between tasks, even though there's been a small lag recently, it's still smooth and makes things easier. Pinning items to the top, bottom, or sidebar helps with follow-ups, and using planners with a weekly histogram is a huge help to avoid missing less critical deadlines. ClickUp was already familiar to the management team, and over time, we've learned to use more of its features, which led to me earning the SuperUser badge. I also appreciate integrating ClickUp with tools like Slack, and using the API to automate task creation from other sources like spreadsheets or Slack channels.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some automation flows still can't be achieved such as related tasks, that's a pain because I would like to trigger more actions when linked or blocking tasks change, like we need to be able to be notified. Another thing is management using subtasks vs checklists, usually it would be great that some tasks don't require the development to be a subtasks, but be respected enough to become a progress where you can define the main deadline. I would like to make the most for diagrams but it gets too laggy.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love using ClickUp to store various project types, label tasks, and manage them like a spreadsheet. Pinning helps with follow-ups and planners aid in meeting deadlines, especially for less critical tasks.

 ### 29. Highly Customizable ClickUp with Seamless M365 Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Timothy V. | Director Of Communications, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The best thing about ClickUp is how customizable it is. It can feel overwhelming at first, but the more time I spend with it, the more I like it. I also like that it integrates very well with M365.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The best thing can also be the worst thing. I just wish the onboarding process were cleaner and more consistent. It felt like the videos and tutorials didn’t match the same version of the product, which made getting started more confusing than it needed to be. Fortunately, not much has changed since we started using ClickUp, but I do worry that things could change too much over time. It also is a bit pricy especially when the AI features are add-ons.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We’re really trying to streamline our SOPs, and ClickUp gives us a good opportunity to dig in and build templates we can reuse across our projects. It just takes time to set everything up the way we want. I do wish we had more hands-on training with ClickUp, but I understand that training can be expensive.

 ### 30. Efficient Project Management with Clean UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vijay P. | Project Leader, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is its clean and flexible UI/UX, which makes it easy to navigate and manage tasks without feeling overwhelmed. The interface is well-structured, and features like different views (list, board, calendar) really help in visualizing work the way you prefer. I also like how customizable everything is—it allows us to design workflows that actually fit our needs. The automation features are a big plus as well, as they reduce manual effort and improve overall efficiency. Overall, it creates a smooth and user-friendly experience, which is why I often recommend ClickUp to my team members, colleagues, and even friends.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that the UI can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, especially for new users. There are a lot of features and options, which is great, but it can make navigation slightly confusing at times. Some sections feel a bit cluttered, and it takes time to get used to where everything is. Also, occasional lag or slow loading in certain views affects the overall experience. With a bit more simplification and performance improvements, the UI/UX could become even smoother and more user-friendly.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using ClickUp, it was difficult to keep everything organized—tasks were scattered across different tools, communication was not always clear, and tracking progress took extra effort. With ClickUp, everything is now in one place, which has made a big difference.

It helps us manage tasks more clearly, assign responsibilities, and track progress in real time. The different views (like list, board, calendar) make it easier to understand work from both a detailed and high-level perspective. Automation has also helped reduce repetitive work, saving time and improving efficiency.

Overall, it has improved team collaboration, reduced confusion, and given us much better visibility into our projects.

 ### 31. Highly Extensible and Customizable to Fit Exactly What You Need

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Drew A. | Marketing Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The extensibility that it provides. It's very customizable and allows you to tailor your experience to a degree to be exactly what you want it for. That's probably my favorite part about it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

When you know there's some feature or aspect that you aren't going to use or need, it can be hard to visually remove it to declutter the view. The clutter is a lot, because there are so many options and ways to slice, filter or refine your views and the data, but stuff you aren't using seems to be there kind of in the way.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's keeping our team in the loop and allowing us to share files way more easily and more relevantly by tying it to the tasks and projects directly. The chat is also super functional with the ability to mention tasks and projects right in there super easily. And having the ability to build forms that populate as tasks is a game changer as well.

 ### 32. Great Project Management Platform for Agencies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nancy H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Super easy platform for managing projects and collaborating with team members. I like that it's easy to move projects around to various stages, comment and assign tasks to other users. It's easy to keep track of projects in a single location. This application has been a game-changer for my agency. We tried other project management systems but this one is the one that stuck and has increased our productivity. One thing that's great is that it make it easy for new agency team members to see past projects, activity logs, etc. so onboarding is easy.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I've never been able to get the gmail integration to work correctly, consistently. It is very glitchy.

I've also never figured out how to use the "documents" functionality fluidly in the system. This might be user error, however, as I need to spend more time researching. There is a lot of functionality in the system that we are not using. The training videos are great but I wish there had been an onboarding consultant to help us really maximize our use!

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are successfully managing all client projects within ClickUp. We have decreased email traffic by more than 80% as we all communicate within the app and it keeps all of the versions, comments, etc. in one place. As the owner of the agency, it's been fantastic to be able to go into any project and see clear details on the status and view the team's notes. We've been using the system for about 4 months now and the improvements in productivity have been amazing - and we've only scratched the surface. We tried other platforms and they didn't "stick." This one has been easy to use and it would be hard to get us to change.

 ### 33. User-Friendly UI Packed with Features and Reliable Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco M. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

UI is user friendly. It has a lot of features so when something comes up new that i need to do at work I first think "is that feature available in clickup?" "can it be shared with other colleagues easily?", "can i integrate it or embed it into my pages"?. I was concerned by some people commenting on the app availability and performance but I havent had any issue related to that. I use this tool to keep track of the activities of my team mates and provide access to my boss for the sake of transparency. Support has been good. There are AI tools that i havent needed much but is good to have it

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

UI is a bit bloated. It is a bit pricy at scale.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving transparency about my teams work and the timelines we commit to. Also the feature to launch surveys and capture data is very useful

 ### 34. ClickUp’s Flexible, Feature-Rich Platform That Scales With Your Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria S. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is its flexibility and the wide range of features available. Almost every aspect of the platform can be customized to fit your team's specific needs, whether that's task management, project tracking, dashboards, automations, forms, or reporting. Instead of forcing you into a rigid workflow, ClickUp allows you to build processes that work for your organization. I feel the AI tools have had a great deal in allowing for this flexibility. From content generation and meeting notes to task summaries and workflow assistance, the AI tools help save time and improve productivity without feeling overly complicated. As our needs have evolved, ClickUp has been able to scale and adapt with us.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest downside to ClickUp is that it can be a little overwhelming at first. There are so many features, settings, and customization options that it takes some time to learn and get everything set up the way you want.
It can also feel a bit cluttered at times, and occasional updates mean there's always something new to get used to. That said, the flexibility and functionality make the learning curve worth it.
Another dislike would be the way the pricing is set-up. I find this confusing with base prices and add-ons and credits.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has helped us centralize our work by giving us one place to manage client information, company documents, tasks, notes, calendars, projects, and internal processes. Instead of switching between multiple tools, our team can access everything they need in a single platform.
This has improved organization, visibility, and collaboration across the team. Having information and tasks connected in one place helps reduce missed details, keeps projects moving forward, and makes it easier to track progress and stay aligned on priorities.

 ### 35. Seamless Project Management for Our White-Label Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JR M. | Account/Client Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has transformed how our team collaborates. From assigning tasks to tracking progress, everything feels seamless, which means we spend less time managing work and more time actually getting it done. It brings clarity and accountability to our workflow without slowing us down.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I’ve noticed with ClickUp is that its wide range of integrations and advanced features can take a little getting used to. Sometimes it feels like there’s a lot happening at once, especially with AI-powered tools and performance-heavy tasks. But that’s also what makes it so powerful. Once you settle in, it’s a platform that connects everything we use, speeds up our workflows, and adapts as our team grows.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of juggling multiple tools and tracking projects across different platforms. By consolidating everything in one place, it streamlines workflows and keeps priorities clear. For our team, this has translated into faster project completion, fewer missed deadlines, and more time to focus on high-impact work instead of administrative tasks."

 ### 36. Highly Flexible ClickUp Workflows That Keep Everything in One Place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ann Marie D. | Creative Campaign Coordinator (Operating as Senior IC / Ops Enablement), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

One of the most valuable aspects of ClickUp is its flexibility. We use custom workflows, automations, forms, dashboards, and templates to manage everything from creative production and campaign execution to SOP documentation and cross-functional project management. The ability to customize statuses, fields, views, and permissions allows us to build processes that align with how our teams actually work rather than forcing us into a rigid structure.

The user interface is generally intuitive once users become familiar with the platform. Features like drag-and-drop task management, multiple project views (List, Board, Calendar, Gantt), and customizable dashboards make it easy to monitor workload, project progress, and team capacity. Having all project communication, documentation, tasks, and reporting in one place significantly reduces the need to switch between multiple systems.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My biggest frustration with ClickUp is the level of technical support available when critical issues occur. For routine questions, the ticketing system works adequately, but when there are platform-wide disruptions, workspace outages, or core functionality failures, it can be difficult to get timely assistance or clear communication regarding resolution timelines.

For example, there have been instances where essential features such as dependency scheduling or workspace functionality were unavailable, directly impacting project planning and team productivity. In these situations, submitting a support ticket often feels like the only option, with limited visibility into prioritization, escalation paths, or real-time status updates.

As organizations become more dependent on ClickUp as a mission-critical operational platform, stronger enterprise-level support options would add significant value. Improvements such as faster response times for high-impact issues, more transparent incident communication, live support channels for urgent cases, and clearer escalation procedures would help teams maintain business continuity when problems arise.

While the platform itself offers powerful functionality, workflow automation, and strong ROI, the support experience has not always matched the importance of the role ClickUp plays in day-to-day operations.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has helped solve one of our biggest operational challenges: accountability. Before implementing standardized workflows, it was often difficult to determine who owned a task, where a project stood, or what was causing delays. Information was spread across emails, meetings, and multiple systems, creating gaps in visibility and follow-through.

With ClickUp, every task has a clear owner, due date, status, and documented history. Team members know exactly what is expected of them, managers have visibility into project progress, and stakeholders can quickly identify bottlenecks before they become larger issues. Features like task assignments, dependencies, dashboards, and automated notifications have created greater transparency and accountability across departments.

The result has been improved project execution, fewer missed deadlines, better cross-functional collaboration, and more confidence that work is moving forward as planned. Having a centralized source of truth has made it easier to track commitments, measure performance, and ensure projects stay aligned with business goals.

 ### 37. ClickUp: Efficiency and Organization Redefined

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vanessa U. | Mentora de propósito y gestión del tiempo , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love ClickUp for its new updates, especially for the artificial intelligence called Brain, which makes my work much easier. The ability to have automated and organized tasks gives me peace of mind, especially now that I'm preparing for my maternity leave. Tools like forms, list creation, and different views are super practical. The integration with other applications is excellent, allowing me to manage everything from a single tab without needing to open other applications. I also appreciate its practicality and how it integrates into my daily life, managing not only my time and tasks but also those of my work team. Additionally, the organization of lists and the dashboard help me keep information clear and organized, and the use of artificial intelligence significantly reduces the time spent on operational tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Well, since Brain's artificial intelligence is something relatively new, I feel that we could improve its interface when generating some kind of instruction to create a prompt. Also, I feel there could be an improvement in document organization, and the lack of a tool that makes it easier to create management systems for my company with templates.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has helped me keep everything organized and automated, even during my maternity leave. With forms and dashboards, I have clear information, and artificial intelligence reduces the time spent on operational tasks. I also integrate ClickUp with Google to manage everything in one place.

 ### 38. Versatile views: Kanban and Excel-like table in one click

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jhon C. | Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like the most is the versatility of the views. It's a relief to be able to see the same project as a Kanban board to move cards, and with just one click switch it to a Table view that works just like Excel, that helped us a lot with resistance to change.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

A rather annoying issue is the internal search engine. When you need to find an old task or a specific file and you don't remember the exact name, the search engine goes crazy. It throws hundreds of results at you that have nothing to do with it, and you waste a lot of time manually filtering until you find it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A serious problem that it helped me solve was the loss of time on repetitive tasks. Before, every time a new project came in, we had to manually create a list of 20 identical tasks, assign people responsible, and set deadlines one by one. Now with project templates, everything is done with a single click.

 ### 39. Flexibility of real-time views: Kanban, Gantt, and table without duplicating data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wilmer B. | Product Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like the most is the ability to see the same data in multiple formats without duplicating information. For me, the real game changer is the flexibility of the views: The operations team works with the Kanban view to move tasks quickly, I monitor the overall timelines from the Gantt view, and management reviews the objectives in an Excel-like Table view. Everything is connected in real time. Additionally, the Folder Hierarchy allows structuring the company in an orderly manner, eliminating the need to jump between Notion, Trello, or Excel.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's still frustrating for me to do documentation in ClickUp Docs, the text editor sometimes does weird things. You paste an image and the text gets misaligned, or you change a block and it alters the margins.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the lack of process standardization in the company and the loss of historical memory that each employee acquired. Now everything is structured and easy to locate.

 ### 40. Versatile Tool with Robust Integrations, Slightly Overwhelming UI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Avraham Y. | Anti-Piracy Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 05, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp because it acts like a control panel where I can connect other apps and platforms. I can implement automations, create tasks to organize profiles, data, and projects, and share these tasks with my team. Additionally, I can assign roles, tasks, projects, lists, and databases, and I even have the capability to publish wikis and pages for public access. It helps me keep track of long-term projects, not get messy, and I receive reminders, updates, and notifications from other apps linked to my workspace. My team and I can update contents and make changes in real-time. Comments help us stay updated on key details and remarks. It saves me a lot of time when creating tasks, asking for reviews and approvals, and sending reminders, while also providing me with a graphic of the progress. The complexity of ClickUp is an added value since it allows us to do many things that other tools limit.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think sometimes it's a little bit overwhelming to have so many options at sight at the same time. I think going a little more minimalist could be a great idea, or maybe creating setups or modes where you can have a simplified view. It's not so simple because it's also building a whole environment for an entire team, but it's not rocket science. For starters, ClickUp is not so friendly, but if you have experience with Notion, Asana, Figma, or Monday.com, ClickUp is a 10.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the mess of tracking long-term projects, letting us receive reminders and updates. Its real-time updates and comments keep everyone in sync. It also saves time by automating task creation, reviews, and reminders, complete with progress graphics.

 ### 42. ClickUp Centralizes Complex Academic Workflows into One Powerful Hub

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio Carlos L. | Salzburg Global Fellow, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The primary advantage of ClickUp resides in its capacity to centralize complex academic requirements and personal planning within a unified ecosystem.,Directing a scientific-academic think tank, supervising postgraduate research, and managing scientific dissemination projects demands a high-precision organizational architecture. The platform facilitates the systematic structuring of diverse initiatives, ranging from the development of theoretical frameworks concerning strategic autonomy and hedging to the execution of specialized consultancy modules and the editorial workflows of high-impact publications. This versatility translates dense analytical operations into agile, integrated processes, effectively optimizing both institutional and individual productivity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The principal limitation of the platform resides in its occasional structural hyper-complexity, which frequently exceeds the necessary parameters for standard project management. While a highly customizable architecture is advantageous for multifaceted operations, it can introduce unnecessary friction and cognitive load into otherwise straightforward workflows, requiring a steep learning curve for basic deployment. Furthermore, the automated meeting note-taking functionality exhibits an overly intrusive operational footprint. A more passive and seamless integration—comparable to the unobtrusive, background transcription models employed by specialized applications such as Granola—would be substantially more effective. Such an adjustment would mitigate disruptions during critical institutional and academic engagements, allowing for a more fluid and less mediated deliberative process.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A critical advantage is the platform's seamless integration with Google Workspace. Embedding Google Drive files directly into task flows ensures that research manuscripts, datasets, and administrative documents remain contextually anchored to their respective projects. Furthermore, bidirectional synchronization with Google Calendar and the capacity to convert Gmail correspondence into actionable items effectively consolidate scheduling and external communications. This interoperability eliminates redundant administrative effort, maintaining a highly efficient, centralized workflow essential for rigorous academic and editorial management.

 ### 43. Keeps Client Details Organized—AI Makes It Even Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor W. | Creative Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love being able to see so much information about everything going on with each of the clients we work with. It helps me stay organized and keep track of details, even when I have a million things going on.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

So far, I honestly don’t see any downsides. I’m still discovering new ways it can make my life easier. Adding AI has helped turn some areas I might not have wanted to spend time figuring out into things I actually like.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In marketing and PR, there are often many moving parts to manage before a project is truly finished. Before using ClickUp, it was difficult to keep up with emails, comments, meeting notes, and tasks, and deadlines could easily get lost in the mix. Now we can collect all relevant data and information in one place, which makes it much easier to stay organized. It saves time because we’re no longer searching through everything separately, and saving time is especially important in this industry.

 ### 45. ClickUp’s Free Tier Makes Team Project Management Smooth and Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** PARADELA, J. | Junior Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The best thing I’ve found about ClickUp over the past year is how much it helps with project management for our team. I can easily update tasks and assign team members to the things they need to do, which keeps everything organized and clear. And the fact that I can do this without a subscription, using only the free tier, is a big plus.Integration of outside links, Good performance, onboardinfg thhe app is easy as there is an instruction for basic things. There is also a built in ai to help in organizing and monitoring. The interface is smooth and user friendly

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The downside of using clickup is although the free tier/membersgip have a lot of freebies during our usage , we hit a limit on creating task. Well thats understable as its just a free membership

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us solve project management and assigning of things to everyone in our team. It helps a lot this year as we have a lot of interns and it helps organizing things without repeating everything and every instructions words by words

 ### 46. Great Tool for Organizing Tasks and Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumisha J. | Senior Software Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is how it combines task management, documentation, goal tracking, and team collaboration in a single platform. The customizable workflows, along with the range of project views, make it easy to organize work, stay aligned with the team, and keep projects moving forward while staying on track.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I dislike about ClickUp is that it can sometimes feel slow, especially when we’re working on larger projects with lots of tasks and subtasks. On top of that, because there are so many features and customization options, our team needed some time to get comfortable with the platform, figure out what to use, and start working with it efficiently.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUP helps us keep all our projects, tasks, deadlines, and team discussions in one place, so we don’t have to constantly switch between multiple tools. As a result, we have better visibility across the team, fewer missed tasks, and a much easier time tracking project progress while staying on top of deadlines.

 ### 47. Keeps Operations in One Place with Dashboards, Automations, and Super Agents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mette C. | Meta Ads Growth Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’ve tried different systems over the years, but I keep coming back to ClickUp. Since last year, it’s been the only system I use for operations - managing clients, project delivery, and everything in between. I love Dashboards; they’re probably my most-used feature for running the business and supporting my clients from onboarding through off-boarding. Automation also helps me cut down on manual work and makes admin tasks so much easier, especially since I can keep everything in one place. I was genuinely pleasantly surprised when Super Agents was introduced, now they create meetings in my calendar and make my day-to-day easier with daily and weekly reminders.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

As a solopreneur, I haven’t run into any glitches or bad experiences so far. However, as I’m scaling and taking on larger projects, the system’s response time has been issued.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really like the clean structure and seamless onboarding, my clients love it. The dashboards are especially helpful for understanding what I’m dealing with across sales, marketing, and more. Before this, I had tons of sticky notes, Google Docs I couldn’t remember where I’d saved them, and I was doing everything manually. Being able to connect Zapier to the lead process from advertising has also been a huge benefit for both me and my clients.

 ### 48. Centralized inbox and notifications that clear the noise in seconds

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esteban S. | QA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like the most is the inbox and the centralization of notifications. Instead of going crazy checking Slack, emails, and different boards to see what has changed, ClickUp efficiently clears the noise, allowing me to see updates grouped by Date or by Project. If I receive a notification that I can't attend to at the moment, I "Snooze" it so it reappears later. I clear my inbox in seconds by marking as Read what is only informational, leaving only what requires my direct action.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's excellent to want to have many features, but I feel that this is what sometimes makes the platform slow, in addition to also slowing down the learning curve. But after you get the hang of it, everything goes great.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's amazing how it helped me resolve the chaos of calculating the actual capacity of the team and measuring its performance each time. Before, planning was guessing or working on the fly, now you can truly plan.

 ### 49. All-in-One ClickUp Workspace That Boosts Organization and Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mostafa A. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that it brings project management, documentation, and task tracking into a single workspace. I use it to organize development tasks, plan features, track progress, and store project information without relying on multiple tools. The flexibility to customize workflows and views helps me manage projects in a way that fits my needs, while the centralized structure improves organization and productivity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main downside is that the large number of features and customization options can make the platform feel overwhelming at first. It takes some time to learn how everything works and to build an efficient workflow. In larger workspaces, certain pages can also feel slower than expected.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using ClickUp, managing tasks, project plans, and documentation across different tools made it harder to stay organized and maintain visibility over project progress. ClickUp solved this by providing a centralized platform where I can manage tasks, document requirements, track progress, and keep project information in one place. This reduces context switching, improves organization, and helps ensure important work is completed on time.

 ### 50. Keeping Projects, Documentation, and Teams Aligned

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hrithik V. | Software Engineer - Trading Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp centralizes project tracking, documentation, and team communication in one place. It makes it easy to see priorities and progress across projects. Features like task comments, custom workflows and integrations with Slack and GitHub help keep work and communication connected. Overall, it improves performance and reduces the need to switch between multiple project management tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main downside is that the large number of features and customization options can make the platform feel complex at times. New users might need some onboarding to become comfortable with the workflow, and certain pages can occasionally feel slower than expected when managing larger projects.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps address the challenge of tracking work across multiple projects and teams. It provides a centralized platform for managing tasks, documenting requirements, tracking progress, and assigning ownership. This improves visibility into project status, reduces context switching, and helps ensure work is prioritized appropriately and completed more efficiently.
