## ClickUp Reviews
 ### 1. Easy Onboarding, Great UI, and Solid AI Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin Daniel A. | Software QA Automation Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It has MCP for AI, so I can integrate it with my AI. At the same time, performance is generally good, but there are times when I experience issues with the desktop app since it feels like a browser. On mobile, though, it works well, and the UI is great. I also haven’t explored the Anthropic models they’ve imported yet. The new members we onboarded to our team were able to use ClickUp easily. As for the price, I don’t really know the details, but I think it’s cheap, so I guess it’s worth it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The desktop app feels slow, and there are also times when they deploy breaking changes.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task management and easy progress tracking.

 ### 2. Versatile Task Management with AI Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Grace A. | Customer Care Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

One of the things that I really like about ClickUp is that it has a ton of integrations that we can utilize with AI, which is perfect for our creative tech agency. We use a lot of automation tools and procedures, and ClickUp's API lets us attach ending automations to it. This allows us to integrate all sorts of tools efficiently. Additionally, it updates us personally with these automations, making it accessible to me and my team. It was also really simple to set up ClickUp since I have experience with it, so creating everything was a breeze.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I wish there was a way that was a lot easier for my team to understand how to see their tasks clearly. I would like to create one task and then just attach all of the subtasks to it. And have the subtasks show in the client list where it's at, and also in their tasks. So that way, it's all in one spot instead of them having to go and look through all of these filters trying to figure out where their stuff is. I had to create a loom tutorial for them to understand how to use filters to see their tasks.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me track every task and project status, preventing duplicate work. It's great for managing varied projects, from Development, branding, web design and video editing. I love its AI integrations, allowing us to automate and connect different tools seamlessly.

 ### 3. Deeply Customizable and Reliable — A Must for Sales Process Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the depth to which you can customize and utilize the features to create industry- and role-specific processes and systems that can be integrated across departments. It performs reliably when required, and there are frequent updates that improve usability or refine existing features. There are many great features; I love this platform and will be recommending it to our company at the enterprise level to leverage its benefits across our dealership group.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't believe there is anything that has come up as a dislike. Most of my hangups were user related & once I utilized the education provided, I was able to work through any issues.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of process. In B2B outbound sales & account management, it has been vital for follow up, for prospecting, for new account management & keeping our team connected on each job. Keeping track of geographical distribution of sales in maps view is very useful & the form generation tool is outstanding and helps keep data entry efficient. We were having issues with keeping track of these processes efficiently, and ClickUp solved that.

 ### 4. Integration and automation with AI that streamline everything; unstable AI and a calendar that is not very customizable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** maria g. | Social Media Content Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I mainly use it to organize projects. Before, it was like my workspace where I could organize different phases. When I worked at a marketing agency, it helped me a lot to distribute the brands I was working on. It helped me a lot to organize not only spaces but also the activities or assignments that I had to deliver to each of the corresponding roles, and also to store certain documentation that was important for each of the brands. I like many things, among them the fact that I can have chats with different people who belong to a space. I really like that I can use artificial intelligence to create new assignments or automate processes, and the fact that I can make agents is also very cool. I also really like that it is separated by lists and that it has a calendar, because it helps a lot to visualize how many tasks I have to do in the day. I value it mainly because I don't have to do the whole process manually; for example, sometimes I used the guide to summarize certain information assigned in some channel, and then I shared it and made a summary to distribute it. We switched from Trello to ClickUp because ClickUp was a space where I could integrate many applications into one, and that change was very good. In Trello, you only placed assignments and didn't have communication beyond comments, and we needed to communicate through chats, specific assignments, subtasks, and other things that Trello doesn't have integrated. Also, we handled documentation and ClickUp could do it. The integration of many applications into one was the decisive factor. The initial setup was quite simple. At first, we didn't know much, but it helped us a lot to receive help in different calls with people who worked in that area; those assistants helped us a lot to see how to organize everything within ClickUp, in a 30-minute meeting, and that was very valuable. I have always recommended it, so a 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I feel that what doesn't work so well is the fact that sometimes the AIs get very confused. When I want a specific type of task, I have to tell it over and over again. There are times when it bugs out or I feel that suddenly it doesn't respond in the way it should when it has all the information in the space. The calendar sometimes doesn't give me much visibility. I would like to be able to change things by colors. It was quite tedious not being able to customize it in some way to make it a slightly more pleasant and distinctive environment among the things I was working on.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize projects and assign tasks and roles, as well as to store important documentation. It helps me avoid doing the entire process manually, because with AI I summarize information from a channel and distribute it. The calendar helps me visualize how many tasks I have in the day.

 ### 5. Powerful for Tasks, But Overwhelming Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katherine G. | Digital Operations & Systems Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the in-depth details I can add to tasks with the custom fields. I also love the fact that I can do time tracking and get reports that help me see where I am spending the most time. I love how powerful it is, it's so so powerful. The initial setup was pretty easy too, you create a space and a list of stuff, so it made sense to me.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I find it overwhelming when I first start using ClickUp. The dashboard could be improved, and a more user-friendly interface would be beneficial. It’s not the easiest to navigate, and once you get the hang of it, you just end up liking your list and moving on. I want to use all the features, but I don’t. Some things in the dashboard are fixed and can’t be removed, which is really annoying. I wish they would redesign it to be more user-friendly. It’s so powerful, but it’s not user-friendly at all. I wish there was a way to have clients in it without them getting overwhelmed. The ClickUp time tracking tool just doesn’t do it for me. When you open the overview, you’re greeted with all this stuff about connecting your calendar and all that, but it should really be up to the user to decide what they need or don’t need in the overview. You spend way more time on the platform instead of utilizing it, which takes away the purpose of using ClickUp to track tasks. The list could be a lot, and it could be done in a more user-friendly way.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves knowing what I need to do for work and where to access company details. I love the in-depth details I can add to tasks with custom fields, plus time tracking and reports that help me see where I'm spending the most time.

 ### 6. ClickUp Makes Task Tracking Simple and Organized

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ambuj N. | Senior Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’ve been using ClickUp and found it really helpful. It has a lot of useful features, and it’s easy to keep track of assigned tasks. I like that everything like tasks, updates, and chat is available in one place, so there’s no need to switch between tools. It makes managing work much simpler and more organized. Overall, it’s easy to use and works well for day-to-day task tracking.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes the app feels a bit slow or laggy, especially when I have a lot of tasks. And because there are so many features, it can be overwhelming at first—it takes a little time to get used to everything.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Earlier, it was difficult to keep track of assigned work, updates, and team discussions all in one place.

With ClickUp, everything is centralized—tasks, comments, and chat—so it’s much easier to stay organized and avoid missing anything important. It gives better visibility into ongoing work and helps me track progress more efficiently from start to finish.

 ### 7. Complete free version without surprises, practical implementation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean M. | Estágio técnico em eletrônica, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The main functions and much more are available in the free version, allowing deployment in team management without restrictions and delays. There are no surprises of starting to use it and then realizing that all the work was frustrated because you need the paid version.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It would be very good if the free version offered workspaces with access restriction features and privilege settings, to facilitate control over who can see and do what. There should be a short video in the tools to explain how to use them, or at least a text when hovering over the function.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help me delegate and monitor the execution of tasks, as well as facilitate my organization with lists and help me maintain productivity on a daily basis.

 ### 8. Effortless Setup, Powerful Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin E. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage large projects at home, and I have a different account that I use at work to manage the team. It helps me understand where bottlenecks might occur and where things are critical so that when deadlines are approaching, we aren't scrambling, and we're able to make sure that whether it's a home project or a work project, things stay on time and on budget. The interface is one of the easiest to use of all the products that I evaluated when I was on a committee to look for the best project management tool for our midsize organization. Being able to pivot between swim lanes and roll up at aggregate levels, or add custom columns to any sort of view, really makes it extendable so that each user can view the information that's important to them. The swim lanes give us direct exposure as to how much work each person is shouldering, and that allowed us to find capacity constraints and reroute important tasks to key individuals. We've begun using automations and templates, and that has been helpful in setting up recurring tasks and making sure all the initial legwork is done once and then recycled for each additional project that mirrors the predecessor. The feature that had the biggest impact for us would be automation, because it doesn't require the manager to kick start setting up a new job — it's already in motion as soon as the template's invoked. I also think the left side navigation is particularly helpful and well thought out. The integration with additional services such as Microsoft Teams is also helpful, and we make use of Outlook's ability to send an email that gets turned into a task. It was very easy to get things up and running.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

{"I don't have any particular thing that is lacking at the moment.","We did have one of our team members, I believe, pay for an extended training session to go into more complex and advanced set of features."}

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me see where bottlenecks might occur and where work is critical, so when deadlines approach we aren't scrambling. Whether it's a home project or a work project, things stay on time and on budget. Swim lanes show how much work each person is shouldering, helping us find capacity constraints.

 ### 9. Great Project Management Software!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angelo T. | Marketing-Data Analyst-Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’ve found ClickUp to be a fantastic project management tool. It stands out for its ease of use, straightforward implementation, responsive customer support, how often I end up relying on it, the breadth of features, and how smoothly it integrates with other tools. The interface is user-friendly, which makes it a strong fit for teams of different sizes and across industries, and it genuinely helps keep work organised and efficient. If you’re looking for something that makes project management both enjoyable and effective, ClickUp is worth considering. I use it daily, and it has become a staple within our company.

In day-to-day use, you’ll likely find yourself in ClickUp often to track progress, collaborate with team members, and manage deadlines, so it naturally becomes part of your routine. Getting started was smooth for me, and the detailed guides and resources helped along the way. With templates and pre-built workflows available from the start, you can get up and running quickly and manage projects efficiently from day one.

I also appreciate the platform’s clean design and its customisable views—such as lists, boards, and calendars—which make it easy to choose a setup that works for you. As a head of the division, I especially value being able to see the people I manage and their tasks, how long tasks take to complete, and an overall view of what they have on their plate, all through multiple perspectives. On top of that, being able to communicate directly with the person(s) involved and attach links turns ClickUp into a central hub where work can begin and return to.

The help centre and their database (ClickUp University) are packed with articles and tutorials that cover a wide range of topics. Most of the time, I haven’t needed them; when I do need help, I prefer speaking to an agent because it feels more helpful and efficient given the nature of our company (Start-Up). The community forums and regular webinars are also useful for tips and best practices, and they’re worth checking out when you have time.

ClickUp offers a vast array of features that can suit virtually anyone, even though I personally stick to what’s most useful for me. The built-in screen recorder is brilliant, especially when I need to create short tutorials. From task management and time tracking to goal setting, document sharing, and automation, it covers everything I need. The platform also updates regularly and adds new features based on user feedback, so it’s worth keeping an eye on their roadmap or subscribing to updates. Finally, it connects with a wide range of third-party applications like Slack, Google Drive, and Trello, which helps keep existing workflows intact, and the 'Make' and Zapier integrations further enhance ClickUp’s flexibility.

Superagents with the 4.0 update are a game-changer. I have barely scratched the surface of what it can do and already it's making workflows much easier and making it easier to keep my team up to date, along with other teams in my company. External updates to Google Sheets are better, too

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the biggest improvement needed is the Mobile App - it is handy, but it doesn’t quite measure up to the desktop version. Some features are harder to use or just don’t work as well on mobile, which can be a hassle if you need to manage tasks on the go. It’s good, but there’s room for improvement. Of course, if it's to check whether tasks are done, review files and mark the status of tasks - it's great. Its home page could improve in terms of what tasks to display.
The notifications setting was extensive before the Clickup 4.0 latest update and overwhelming, but now more streamlined and easier

Also, ClickUp chat - it's better as a standalone rather than integrated into the main app - including SyncUps - works better as a standalone Desktop and Mobile App

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of the workers and the projects. Creating a central place of communication within teams.

 ### 10. ClickUp: Intuitive interface and efficient collaboration with AI features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that it offers many options for organizing teamwork, tracking, and collaborating. I got to know it in a Tester course I took; we worked with ClickUp to present our final work to the designated company. The interface is very intuitive and clear, which encourages learning to use it, and it is always incorporating new features. I definitely recommend it for any project, whether professional or personal. I recommended it to a friend and she is also delighted, especially with the AI features, such as the ability to create custom agents to delegate tasks. When our project takes off, we will seriously consider moving to a paid plan, because it would be an investment that would pay for itself and provide us with more facilitating tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

In my daily use, the pros outweigh the cons, but if I have to point out a con, it would be that sometimes the free credits run out too quickly and it's hard to find a way to regulate that.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization, task tracking, and sharing progress. It is very useful for any project with tight deadlines, allowing you to quickly see how progress is going and make timely adjustments. Additionally, I find the function of adding reminders that arrive in my email very useful, being able to add text documents, external sources, and even make calls within the same app.

 ### 11. ClickUp: Highly Configurable, Speeds Up Tasks and Simplifies Project Organization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the configurability of ClickUp that allows me to simplify my workflow and cater it to my needs as a user, not the needs of everyone who uses ClickUp. This greatly reduces my time to complete tasks or find information. It also helps me organize my projects into easy to consume buckets of tasks rather than having to separate and filter.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I did find it a bit difficult to understand the integrations available to help me dial in my ClickUp experience. However, once I figured out how to enable and configure them, I was very pleased with the available integrations, specifically the sprint planning.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has allowed me, as a fairly independent component of our product and engineering team, to stay focused and on task all while staying aligned and connected to the rest of the team. I now have a good connection to my PM's and the engineers. It makes our collaborations far more seamless and easy to manage. So in short, a major issue I always see as the UX designer is the disconnect between my design sprints (typically 2-3 weeks ahead of engineering) and the engineering sprints. I am now able to stay connected with their sprint planning all while providing my own sprint plan that is easily accessible by those I work with to help align all of us.

 ### 12. Customizable Yet Simple for Client Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Madison W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how customizable ClickUp can be but also how simple and straightforward it can be. I had a client who had a pretty extensive routine for recycling blog content for social media and posting purposes, and customizing on ClickUp helped save time and also ensure no step was skipped. There are so many awesome automations already included in the platform, so I don't currently use it with any other tools. I liked the structure of ClickUp slightly better than Trello. Sometimes Trello was a little too loose in structure in a bad way, and I liked how ClickUp made stuff a little bit more professional and streamlined. The initial setup was pretty easy! ClickUp allows import of other platforms and it is super easy. It helps me stay on time with due dates and meeting or exceeding client expectations for tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

{"I wish the main dashboard had more customization capabilities kind of like Notion, more colorful.","Custom color themes would be cool! I work with mainly creatives and designers so the extra style detail could be a fun enhancement.","Client workspaces could be a fun touch!","I’d like the overall workspace palette themed, and for sure headers."}

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for client task management and internal task tracking for my service based business. It helps me stay on time with due dates and meet or exceed client expectations. Customizing a client's blog content recycling routine saved time and made sure no step was skipped.

 ### 13. Disappointing Overall, But Customizable Dashboards

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It used to be so good. We like that you can basically configure your own dashboard and lead management system in ClickUp. It allows me to have all the fields and info in the task that I need. The platform used to be smarter than other tools with its custom fields and display options.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There's a lot of things that need improvement. Overall, it's too slow. Tasks and lists need way to long to open; both in browser and in the app. There's automations, which are way too limited. You can't communicate between a main task and its sub tasks. Nor hand over custom field values 1:1. Then there's also AI agents which are not really good. They work inconsistently. They usually can't finish runs successfully. So these are very unreliable. A lot of improvements have been lacking for a very long time. At the same time, support has degenerated. It's very hard to get proper help, even though you've been a customer for a lot of years. UI changes are very unintuitive, consistently making the tool worse.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for keeping the overview, team communication, project fulfillment, working time tracking, and having nice fluid project processes.

 ### 14. Streamlined Project Management in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bradwyn T. | Co-Founder, Accounting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like using ClickUp for project management, communication, and storing information, as it keeps everything in one place. It's great having "one version of the truth" without needing to check multiple apps. The ease and logic of setting it up and using it are standout features for me. Since switching to ClickUp from other apps, I haven't felt the need to look elsewhere, because it simply works for my needs. It's simple for a basic user while offering enough complexity to tailor features to our specific processes. The initial setup was extremely easy, even when importing data from other systems.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The ultimate goal would be to have an email inbox within ClickUp where new incoming emails could be assigned to projects or tasks from the inbox - email is the only app we still use outside of ClickUp. The lack of this feature is not a negative.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes all our tools in one app, reducing context switching and ensuring we have one version of the truth. It's simple for basic users but offers complexity for tailored processes, making cross-referencing easy.

 ### 15. ClickUp: Unified Tasks, Docs, Workflows & Reporting for Small Consulting Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is that it combines task management, documentation, workflows, and reporting in one place. For a small consulting team, that makes it easier to keep projects, responsibilities, deadlines, and internal knowledge connected instead of scattered across separate tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I dislike most about ClickUp is the pricing. The platform becomes much more expensive once you need features beyond basic task management, especially for a small team. Some useful functions are locked behind higher-tier plans, so the cost can grow quickly as the team starts relying on ClickUp more seriously.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us keep projects organized from delivery through administration and billing. It gives us much better control over tasks, deadlines, responsibilities, and project status than Microsoft Planner. As a result, we manage consulting projects more consistently, reduce the risk of missing follow-ups, and have a clearer basis for internal coordination and client-related project settlement.

 ### 16. Organized Workflow with Room for Beginner Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pasindu N.

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I've been using ClickUp to organize my tasks and keep track of my work, and I like that I can create tasks, set due dates, and keep everything organized in one place. The interface is easy to use, and it helps me stay productive. ClickUp helps me keep all my tasks in one place, plan my tasks, set due dates, and track my progress easily. I like how easy it is to organize my tasks and keep everything in one place. The interface is simple to use, helping me track my progress and manage my work more efficiently, saving me time, and making staying organized much easier. The setup process was simple and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first. A simpler layout for beginners would make it even better. I think a more beginner-friendly onboarding process would help new users get started faster. Simple tutorials, guided tips for the main features, and a cleaner default would make the interface easier to understand without feeling overwhelming.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to keep all my tasks in one place, plan my tasks, set due dates, and track my progress easily. It helps me stay focused, productive, and manage multiple projects without getting confused.

 ### 17. Everything you need and more, but...

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felipe S. | UX/UI Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is an excellent tool with many features for managing time, projects, and teams. Amazing!
However, with all that comes a risk: usability. You need to specialize to figure out how to use all its features; nd the mobile app is so confusing that simple tasks, such as adding a reminder, become challenging.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Improve its UI on mobiles and desktops. And its cost could be correct for agencies or established businesses, but for startups, freelancers, or personal use could be lower. There is a free plan, but its limitations break the deal.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of having different tools to achieve my work. With ClickUp, I can centralize all the necessary information and clearly track each point.

 ### 18. ClickUp Automations That Cut Admin Work and Ease the Team’s Burden

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** haileigh t. | Clinical Research Assistnat, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The most helpful part of ClickUp is its automations. Our team sets up automations in each of our spaces and lists to cut down on administrative work and reduce the overall burden.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only thing I dislike about Click Up is the “closed” feature on tasks. Our team works using task completion labels such as “completed early” and “completed on time/late.” Because tasks have to be closed in order to stop showing as “open,” it can be difficult to clearly differentiate how a task was completed.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has been very helpful for our onboarding process. We are able to copy over onboarding templates for new team members, rather than start from scratch each time.

 ### 19. Customizable dashboards and ultra-specific reports that facilitate time tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry C. | Scrum, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The customization of the dashboard is great with time tracking; now I can manage all the team's resolution time and not guess or give false testimony. It's the first platform I've found where I can create ultra-specific visual reports.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I like the least is the total chaos of the notification system. If you don't sit down for a good while to meticulously configure the alerts for each Space, the ClickUp notification bell and your email inbox turn into a spam dump.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It resolved the invisible bottlenecks for us; previously, a project would be delayed, and we never knew where the holdup was. Now, tracking can be done meticulously against the timelines, documentation, and status changes.

 ### 20. All My Professional Conversations in One Modern, Streamlined Hub

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritika S. | Accounts Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

All my professional, and sometimes personal, tasks are noted here in the calendar. The timeframes in which I’m supposed to work and complete tasks are easy to navigate and follow. Keeping a record and tracking performance is also straightforward. Adding work to another employee’s calendar is similar to adding it to my own, so it feels familiar and easy to do.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The interface is a bit tricky as there are multiple categories and titles in the same screen making it overwhelming to work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and maintaining a record of my team’s tasks is easy. Tagging the task according to the priority is feasible.
This make everyday's work structures and planned.

 ### 21. Flexible and Feature-Rich, But Slightly Complex

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wajji K. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for task management in my e-commerce business, especially for marketing campaigns and daily operations. It helps me stay organized and track progress effectively. I like how customizable and flexible it is for managing tasks. The different views, like list and board, make it easy to track progress and collaborate with the team. These features help me see the status of tasks at a glance, prioritize work, and keep everything organized. Additionally, it improves team coordination and allows me to manage multiple tasks and workflows in one place.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes ClickUp feels a bit complex due to the number of features, and it can take time to get used to. The interface can also be slightly slow at times.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for task managing my e-commerce business, keeping me organized and tracking progress. It manages multiple tasks in one place, improving team coordination with different views and ease of use. We switched from Trello for advanced task management and better reporting.

 ### 22. Efficient Planning with Calendar & Board Views, Plus Time-Saving Task Templates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rishma R. | Information Communication Technology Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The calendar view makes it efficient to plan the week's content. The board view helps track daily personal tasks during syncup calls with the team. Templates make it efficient to create repetivie tasks and subtasks. This saves a lot of time and enables faster completion .The time tracker also helps record time taken for each task which helps evaluate work better and improve workflows. The spaces and folders section help efficiently segregrate groups.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes the app gets stuck. I can't access the drop down to change the status of tasks . THis only happens occasionally. Not always.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to track the team's daily tasks and work load. I like how easily it allows to attach and integrate files and images and multiple other attachments. The calendar overview is efficent to track timelines of tasks.

 ### 23. ClickUp’s Intuitive UI and Powerful Features Keep Our Team Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The ClickUp user interface is very easy to use, and keeps things well organized. The different feautres they offer like tags, priority filters and publish date filters keep teams on the same page. It's very easy to make tasks and keep track of projects with their subtask feature.

It integrates well with my Chrome browser so I can easily stay on top of things. I have used other project management systems before, and ClickUp's ease of use, speed, and the amount of detail they provide outperform any other platform I have worked with.

It has improved my workflow with one feature specifically, which is the calendar tool, which gives you an overview of what everyone on the team is working on at a given time. Another benefit I have run into is the AI tool, Brain2, which handles things like emails and meetings for you!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp has a lot of features, sometimes the dashboards can get very crowded, which interferes with the overall UI. On certain dashboards there can almost feel like there are too many options to choose from.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp gives everyone a central location to keep all of their tasks, which in Marketing, solves the problem of, "Where are we on this?" Everyone on my team is able to add their tasks with a start and publication date, which we all filter into a calendar that then shows everyone what content is being published when. This allows us to stay on top of deadlines and ensures we are planning accordingly across all the channels we work in.

I was not working with my current organization before this was implemented, however, since starting, we have increased our ClickUp use and made more complex workflows between team members, which keep things running smoothly! Through the process of setting these workflows up, if we needed help from ClickUp support they were always there for us, and the support articles under the help section are also great!

 ### 24. Effortless Coordination, Slight Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abayo B. | Sales Technologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I have enjoyed using ClickUp as a mini one-stop organizer for my work as an executive assistant. I love having all my projects in one space with a clear dashboard to track deadlines and work visibility. It helps me effortlessly manage multiple clients without mix-ups by creating different dashboards, folders, and lists. I appreciate how it allows me to convert email communication into tasks, preventing important emails from getting buried. Creating customized workflows and task statuses has made it easy to prioritize and track progress, improving work accountability and collaboration among my teams. Overall, it's been critical in my work as a virtual assistant.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

A learning curve. There are so many features which can sometimes become overwhelming. Setting up more advanced automations. I also particularly encountered slower performance than anticipated when loading a larger workspace which had many tasks and integrations.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is my one-stop organizer, minimizing work overload by centralizing all tasks and projects. I manage multiple clients and deadlines effortlessly, convert emails to tasks, and track everything live. It enhances work accountability and collaboration, with customizable workflows improving prioritization.

 ### 25. Intuitive From Day One With Customizations and Powerful Automations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Application is intuitive and easy to use from the day one. Making the onboarding proces easy regardless if you are starting from zero or migrating from another tool. Even with a free version or a low tier plan you have access to many features and you don't feel limited. Custom fields and automations are very useful. You can use automation creator or AI automations. Clickup provides integrations including Google Calendar integration. Performance is good and so far I didn't experience any downtime.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

You can fully customize the colors for all statuses except the DONE status. So, if you rely on a color scheme for your process, DONE often doesn’t match the rest.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for podcast content creation and management. With a deep level of subtasks, task templates, automations, and custom fields, everything stays organized exactly the way I need it, so I can focus on the content instead of the process (ClickUp handles that for me). On top of that, the Dashboards let me monitor the parameters that matter most to me.

 ### 26. Easy and powerful to use. CU fits any workflow.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Compared to Asana, I think, CU is easier to use. It has a learning curve, for sure, but it's not that pronounced. It's easier for freelancers to use as well as PMs. I believe most people aren't using it to its best potential, and while it's good to have descriptions and things like that, sometimes it may take a while for a team to revamp its organization with CU. The good thing about it is that it can do everything you need it to (connect with bunch of apps, write your own docs inside, have tons of views), but it can also do just what you need it for (a few tasks, a few people, etc). I haven't used it with the new AI thing since I thought it was good enough without it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I'm not sure if I have anything that I dislike about it. Everything is pretty straightforward. I'm not a PM by trade, rather the lead of email marketing in a small agency, and I found that CU was not being used to its full potential but that didn't interfere with my job. The freelancer I was working with found it easy to use. It's easy to edit tasks, remove them, make them repeatable. I think what may make CU NOT work or dislikable is not the platform per se but how people use it. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it's like wanting Pinterest-like experience when you're using Facebook. It's 2 completely different platforms...

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CU solves the tracking of a project. It shows when someone checks it off, shows how far along the project is moving, you can write however many, whether silly or not, tasks you want to in there, you can add however many people you want on a task, you can write a long description or a short, self-explanatory one, you can link to pretty much everything in Drive, other tasks, other projects. I love how everything is organized, which is helpful when you deal with many projects, teams, and clients. I find it useful for creative teams because often we deal with a lot of clients simultaneously, and if something is repeatable, you can create a template and save a lot of time. What makes CU a nightmare is the way people set it up. Sometimes people make a "status" what should be a task. For example, "Brainstorm website moodboard" is a task. "Send it to client for review" isn't necessary a task. That could easily be a status "Sent to Client", that way I know at-a-glance what's in the client's hands vs what the team has to finish. If I have a task that say "Send it to client for review", I have to look at the mother task or even at that specific project to figure out 1) what "it" is and 2) what has been done. But again, that's not a CU issue—that's a people issue.

 ### 27. Versatile All-in-One Tool with Room for Simplification

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela R. | Sales Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp is an all-in-one tool. I don't need to keep switching between different tools, which I find time-consuming and frustrating. All the features are available in one dashboard, making it very useful for me and increasing my efficiency and proactivity in future projects. ClickUp has grown a lot and has a lot of features inside the same platform, making it the best tool for us right now.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think some features that ClickUp has, like the status or personalizations, are made for default projects. It would be nice if you could deactivate some things to make every project more personalized to the industry. In my case, in the construction field, it's not always necessary to use all the notes, lists, and added boxes that ClickUp gives. It could be more useful to start with a very simplified version, like a Gantt or Kanban version. Additionally, while the initial setup was easy for me because I'm tech-savvy, I'm not sure it's as easy for all people. Especially older people might find it challenging since they're not into technology.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp gives me a perfect time frame for follow-ups with clients and operations. It's an all-in-one tool, reducing the need to switch platforms, which saves time and frustration. It helps me be more efficient and proactive in managing my projects.

 ### 28. Flexibility and Centralization with ClickUp

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego M. | Assistant Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that it helps me centralize work in one place, allowing me to manage tasks and track projects while collaborating with different teams. I appreciate its flexibility, as I can adapt the spaces and workflows according to my needs. It is valuable to me because I manage multiple projects, reports, and requests in different areas. Additionally, the initial setup was relatively simple, and coming from another project management platform, the transition was smooth.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes the platform can feel complex or overwhelming if there are many tasks or projects for new users. Also, the advanced features require considerable setup to make the most of them. For new users, it can present a very slow learning curve.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me organize and track my deliverables, centralize work in one place, and manage multiple projects and tasks, all with flexibility. It is valuable personally and for collaborating with different teams.

 ### 29. All-in-One, Flexible Project Management That Keeps Everything Centralized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that it combines project management, task tracking, documentation, and team collaboration in one place. I also appreciate how flexible it is: being able to customize workflows, views, dashboards, and automations makes it easy to adapt to different teams and processes. Having everything centralized helps keep projects organized and improves visibility across the work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp is very powerful, it can feel overwhelming at first because of the sheer number of features and customization options. There’s definitely a learning curve, and when I’m managing more complex projects, the interface can sometimes come across as cluttered and harder to navigate.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me solve the challenge of keeping work organized and visible across projects, tasks, and team members. By centralizing task management, project planning, documentation, and communication in a single platform, it reduces the need to switch between multiple tools throughout the day. For me, this translates into better overall organization, simpler tracking of progress and deadlines, stronger accountability across the team, and greater confidence that important information is easy to find and act on when it matters.

 ### 30. ClickUp centralizes everything and eliminates tool fatigue

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose O. | QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The centralization capability that ClickUp has is great. Before, the team suffered from tool fatigue. We used one app for chatting, another for documenting processes, software for project management, and spreadsheets for tracking time. Now everything is done on a single platform.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Notification settings are very tedious; if you don't configure them properly, they will definitely fill up your inbox.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big problem it solved for us was the isolation of the teams. Before, the Sales team didn't know what Operations was doing, and Operations had no idea what Promotion was promising to the customer. No one knew at what point in the funnel we were. Now the whole team knows where to look.

 ### 31. Essential for Workflow and Team Coordination

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandra C. | Director Of Marketing And Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp every day for work, and it's basically the most important app for me and my team to keep everything organized. It's super easy to understand, and you can do many, many different things, including finding templates and personalizing everything inside the app. It's really easy to work with coworkers, track the workflow, and see how many tasks are done or open for the day, week, or month. It's also a great planner. Personalization is really important to me as I can adapt it to my job and create my own social media calendar, and workflow tracking is perfect for my team since we are located in different countries. The templates I've used were really, really useful. ClickUp keeps everyone on the same page in team campaigns, and even though the initial setup can be a bit complicated, watching tutorials makes it easy and quick.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it's a little bit difficult to understand how some of the features or options work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to keep everything organized. It's crucial for my team's workflow, allowing us to track progress easily across different countries. The personalized calendars and useful templates are also key features that enhance our planning and task management.

 ### 32. Feature-Rich AI and Automations That Deliver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I enjoy the many features available including AI and automations, which has really helped our optimization our team's processes. I even created a custom super agent which is managing our incubator deliverables.

I've used 5-6 different project management tools and the UI/UX of ClickUp is the best I've used so far. I love the ability to run our team chats and calls in ClickUp too, without having to use separate tools.

I've also integrated ClickUp with Claude, which is supporting our AI performance.

They have very helpful support and onboarding and the pricing is fair.

And the performance of the tool in general is very strong.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It would be great to be able to make a bit more design customizations to our branding. This is currently on an enterprise plan I believe which we aren't on.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to easily manage internal team tasks, and work with external partners. We manage a builder incubator program where builder teams are learning with us for 6 months.

We've created this whole applied learning program and delivery and review system for the program in ClickUp. It's totally amazing what we have bene able to do! We use super agents to replace project managers within it, too.

 ### 33. Effortless Task Management and Email Notifications in ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NIKHIL G. | SEO Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I can easily manage the tasks on Clickup and even if I forgot about the pending tasks I get a mail about the task status. If I want to assign task to somebody I can directly add them and they receives the email. I don't have to message them personally about the task.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

If there are multiple Spaces and multiple tasks created in them, it becomes diffcult to find them if you dont know the task name.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using ClickUp, we struggled with scattered tasks, poor integrations and slow tracking, leading to missed deadlines and unclear ownership. Now everything runs in one place with strong integrations, faster performance, built-in AI, and smooth onboarding/support, which has improved visibility and execution. This has cut task management time by ~30%, improved ROI through better pricing efficiency and helped us consistently hit deadlines.

 ### 34. Powerful All-in-One Tool That Rewards the Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp’s flexibility and its all-in-one functionality. It makes it easy to manage tasks, track progress, collaborate with teammates, and keep projects organized in one place. The customizable views and workflows are especially helpful, since they let teams adapt the tool to their specific needs and ways of working.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Performance remains my most consistent frustration: load times slow down noticeably as the workspace grows with more tasks, nested views, and active automations, and the mobile app still lags behind the web experience. On top of that, the sheer density of features creates a steep learning curve that can overwhelm new teammates who join mid-project, and live support on lower-tier plans is often slow and inconsistent when you actually need help.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has effectively replaced what used to be two or three separate tools for us—a project tracker, a docs platform, and a communication layer—and the ROI becomes pretty obvious once you do that math. That’s especially true at the Unlimited tier, where the pricing feels competitive and the value compounds as your team grows. Integrations with Slack, Google Drive, GitHub, and others fit neatly into an existing stack without forcing a full workflow overhaul, and the customizable views and UI make it easier for different team members to work the way they think without stepping on each other.

Performance also tends to improve with good workspace hygiene, like keeping automations lean and views organized, so teams that invest in setup early usually end up with a smoother experience overall. Onboarding takes real effort given the platform’s depth, but ClickUp University and the community docs help close that gap, even if live support on lower-tier plans can fall short.

The addition of ClickUp Brain brings practical AI wins—task summarization, auto-generated subtasks, and workspace-wide answers—that genuinely save time. While it’s still maturing, it already removes enough day-to-day friction that the add-on feels justified for most teams.

 ### 35. Streamlined Project Management with Flexible Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dimakatso M. | Personal Assistant to Finance & Insurance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really appreciate ClickUp's flexibility and the ability to keep everything organized in one place. Instead of switching between multiple tools, I can manage tasks, track project progress, set deadlines, store documents, and collaborate with team members from a single platform. I also appreciate the customizable views and workflows, which allow me to organize work in a way that matches my needs. The platform provides excellent visibility into priorities and project status, making it easier to stay productive and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. I like how easy it is to customize workflows and adapt the platform to different types of projects. Whether managing simple daily tasks or more complex team projects, ClickUp provides the flexibility to organize work effectively. I also like task dependencies, reminders, and project-tracking features, which help keep projects moving forward and ensure deadlines are met. The dashboard and reporting tools provide a clear overview of workload and project status, making it easier to prioritize tasks and stay focused. Overall, ClickUp combines powerful functionality with a user-friendly interface, making it a valuable tool for both individual productivity and collaboration.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main area of improvement is that ClickUp can feel overwhelming at first because it offers so many features and customization options. There is a bit of a learning curve for new users. The only improvement I would suggest is making the onboarding experience a little simpler for new users. Because ClickUp offers so many features, a more guided setup process would help users get comfortable with the platform faster.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes tasks, deadlines, and communication, eliminating the need to use multiple tools. It improves visibility into projects, reduces missed deadlines, and enhances organization. I am more productive managing projects efficiently while collaborating remotely.

 ### 36. Perfect Integration and Easy Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** María Verónica R. | FRONTEND TRAINEE, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love being able to integrate various tools with ClickUp because, as a software developer and tester, I usually use different platforms and find it useful to bring work and projects from tools like Figma and Trello. I also like that ClickUp sends me early notifications to keep everything organized and meet tasks. I appreciate that it is easy to understand, create, and manage tasks. The ease of integration and the intuition with which activities can be managed are aspects I really value, allowing me to assign people to projects and set completion times. The initial setup was also very easy for me; I simply logged in and was able to learn how to create a project immediately. I found it super easy and quick to import projects from other platforms and view them in different ways.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I have no complaints about it. So I can't find anything I don't like.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves having all tasks integrated into one platform, which makes it easier not to log into each site separately. It is easy to understand, create, and manage tasks, and receiving advance notifications helps keep everything organized.

 ### 37. Been on Clickup for a while now

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2022

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The new updates make it look more modern and easier to navigate. They have some nice tool connections that I wish I could use if it wasn't for my work restrictions.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

This might be a me thing, but I get lost in my notifications. The notifications tab can be confusing, and I wish I could go directly to the task when clicking a notification instead of a history of the task.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving communication and maintenance problems for my team. It offers an environment where we can keep track of what we think we should change, what we want to change, what we changed and what we canceled changing. We can always go back to check the previous progress done in a sprint. And instead of communicating directly and forgetting a target, it is very easy to just type it as a comment or a description in a ticket.

**Official Response from Shanee Shepardson:**

> Hey, there!

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying a productivity boost with ClickUp!

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all!

Have an amazing and productive day!

 ### 38. The Ultimate Tool for Development Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priscilla W. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp's flexibility and depth. The hierarchical task structure with spaces, folders, lists, tasks, and subtasks mirrors how we organize our backend modules. The multiple views like List and Board are great for different contexts. I appreciate the AI Chats feature, sprint tracking, KPI scoring, and the ability to assign tasks, set due dates, and track priorities all in one tool, which means our dev team doesn't need to juggle multiple platforms. It consolidates project management, communication, and reporting, making it an essential tool for us.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The notification system can be overwhelming with 99+ inbox items making it hard to prioritize truly urgent items. The mobile experience isn't as smooth as the desktop. The learning curve for new team members is steep given the many features. Also, the AI features, while promising, still feel somewhat surface-level for technical development use cases. Better GitHub/GitLab integration for directly linking commits and PRs to tasks would significantly improve our dev workflow.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes our development tasks, making it easier to manage a complex backend rewrite. It helps us organize tasks into sprints, track overdue items, manage priorities, and coordinate across functional teams, preventing chaos in managing over 20 backend modules.

 ### 39. Excellent Task Search, Helpful OneDrive Integration, and an Awesome AI Brain

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Farrukh N. | Solution Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Task searching is excellent, and the integration with OneDrive is really helpful. I can search all the files and data stored inside OneDrive as well. The Brain (AI) is awesome.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

1) When I don’t have internet, I can’t create tasks or search for tasks, and I really dislike that. Offline access should be available, at least for some folders and tasks. 2) When I make notes inside a table and copy-paste into Excel, the rows and columns get disturbed. Clickup needs to improve this so tables can be inserted more like Excel, including proper formatting such as colored tables and other table options. 3) Documents should also work more like MS Word, so copying/pasting and note creation—and pasting to other platforms—follows a standard format.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me manage my tasks easily, and all of my tasks are searchable, which makes it simple to find what I need.

 ### 40. Maximum customization for my personal task management

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I highlight most about ClickUp, and the main reason I use it consistently over other market alternatives, is its extreme level of customization. Unlike other more rigid productivity tools, ClickUp adapts to the complexity of my workflows.

For example, for project management, it allows me to create tasks and subtasks where priority is measured in relation to cost. Thanks to its custom fields, I can assign an exact financial value to each item to make better decisions. Additionally, the flexibility to configure reminders, due dates, and the ease of adding or removing data columns allows me to maintain very clean views and have the exact information I need to visualize at any given moment.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Regarding areas for improvement, I find that the storage limit for uploading images and files in the free version is quite restrictive when managing projects with a lot of visual documentation.

On the other hand, it would be an excellent update to incorporate a native text extraction (OCR) function. It would be extremely useful if, when pasting a screenshot or image containing text, the system offers the option to automatically convert it into editable text within the task description or comments. This would save a lot of manual transcription time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment, I don't have any issues with corporate products.

 ### 41. Versatile, Real-Time Project Organization—Easy to Use and Free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the multiple options this product offers. You can create a simple task list for personal organization, or build a more complex logistics plan with main projects, deadlines, assigned people, and even notes on each task and subtask.

It’s also a plus how it combines different platforms by redirecting every link to the page you need, just by copying and pasting the URL into the project or task description. This tool it's super useful when you work with different platforms for the same project.

One thing that helps the most when two or more people use this at the same time, it's that every change it's automatically done. You can work every project on real time.

Another advantage is that you can keep all your completed projects within your main categories, so everything stays organized without losing track of what’s already done.

It's super easy to use and to teach when new members are added to the workflow.

But the thing I like the most it's that all those tools are free. Just have to create your account. It also gives you the option to upgrade paying to unlock more benefits.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It doesn't actually do the work for you.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a very distracted person and ClickUp helps me a lot to manage my task an times. I'm sure that when I learned to use all the potencial from the AI tools, it would help me even more.

 ### 42. Robust and scalable Project Manager tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paula P. | Academic Mentorship for Capstone Projects in the Bachelor's Degree in Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The possibility of managing and overseeing several projects at the same time. The feedback this tool provides helps us plan our workload and team tasks. I've tried several similar tools, and find ClickUp one of the most complete and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp's interface has long suffered from visual clutter, and the recent addition of AI agents and features has only compounded the problem. As an Operations Director, I require access to high-level overviews, granular details, and robust insights — but most of my team does not. They regularly flag the overwhelming UI as one of their primary pain points with the platform.

What's missing is meaningful customization: the ability to build role-based views, toggle components (dashboards, views, sidebar, sidebar expansion, notifications, top bar) on or off depending on what each user actually needs. A modular approach to the interface — where AI tools and advanced features can be introduced progressively rather than surfaced all at once — would go a long way toward making ClickUp usable for teams with varying needs and levels of technical comfort.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can efficiently have an overview of what's going on on each and every project at a glance. And also, have up-to-date information on the progress of the projects.
Our team has gained autonomy to do their tasks, and we've all gained transparency about the status of our work.

**Official Response from Jessica Surita:**

> Hey Paula! Thanks so much for the review. We really appreciate the feedback! 🙌

We also love hearing ideas for improvements from our users & we'd love for you to share your awesome suggestions on our feedback boards! Our Product team reviews every post and that's truly the best way for your ideas to be considered!🌟

 ### 43. ClickUp’s Customization Makes It a Powerful Personal Assistant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murat K. | Digital Marketing Consultant, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’ve been actively using ClickUp for about 5–6 years now. I keep all my workflows and client information here. My favourite feature is how customisable it is. You can customise tasks, lists and many other areas. With the formula feature, you can even turn it into an accounting programme. It really does act as my personal assistant at the moment.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It’s using up a lot of credit, especially since the AI integration. We need to cut that down a bit :)

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves my organisational problems. That’s my biggest issue. I work as a freelancer and have a lot of clients. I’m 42, so my memory isn’t as sharp as it used to be :) I immediately log any work that comes in via WhatsApp into ClickUp and can easily track the entire process through the task details.

 ### 44. 5 years of daily use to manage workflow of entire team, AI features add a layer of ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It's been 5 years since I started using ClickUp to manage the workflow of my 9-person team, and in addition to making it so easy to visualise, assign and track multiple projects over extended periods of time, the new AI features have added extra layers of convenience.

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't raring to use the new AI features mostly because I didn't think I would need them (the tool has always been perfectly intuitive and comfortable to use) but a colleague convinced me. I have to admit that on days that I'm especially tired or have a heavy workload, getting a quick summary of the status of the tasks at one glance IS useful. Not to mention the search/find feature, given I manage pretty extensive workloads.

All in all, I believe the AI features are a neat addition, but like I've said before, the tool is perfectly set up to be used even without them.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Not sure if there is a tutorial already but one for the all of the AI feature use-cases would be great

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing what could be a very chaotic workflow given the team is fairly and our day-to-day operations are rarely the same

 ### 45. The Ultimate All-in-One Integrative Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp to be my ultimate partner in managing company client operations, especially with the ability to capture client information and manage multiple matters linked to clients directly. The integration of ClickUp with CRM, project management, time tracking, and billing is fantastic. It's intuitive and makes me more productive, allowing me to keep track of what needs to be done. I particularly enjoy the vast amount of integrations into email, storage drives, and AI tools like Claude. Among its features, I value time tracking due to my billing structure, custom fields, and lists that allow customized data views, and the convenience of emailing tasks and using the comments section directly within ClickUp. These features, along with automatic progress tracking and automation, enhance my productivity significantly. Returning to ClickUp after trying other tools feels like coming back home, and its intuitive nature made setup quite easy for me.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I would love to have my invoicing system inside ClickUp and not have to use an external system. I'm currently using Zoho Books and the transfer of hours per task or project to an invoice is completely manual and takes up a lot of productivity time. A more intuitive 'what is important right now' inbox rather than the current generic one. Some guidance on how Brain actually works and its capabilities as sometimes it seems great and other times it's just not even in the picture.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage multifaceted client accounts, capturing client info, integrating CRM, project management, and time tracking. It centralizes tasks, emails, and documents, reducing app clutter, boosting productivity, and leveraging AI for intuitive management.

 ### 46. All-in-One, Highly Customizable Workspace That Replaced My App-Switching

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam S. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The best part is ClickUp Brain: it pulls answers directly from our linked docs without us having to search manually.I no longer have to jump between other applications as they integrated chat and docs right within my project

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The mobile version feels more limited and harder to navigate than the desktop version. Also, the notification system is very noisy: I get an email and an in-app notification for every minor change, which has led to notification fatigue. What you could improve is sending notification summaries once in a while, rather than lots of separate notifications.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has replaced our status update meetings. Now I can just check my custom dashboard to see real-time progress. The Workload view, in particular, helps me spot when one designer has 10 tasks while another has 2, so I can rebalance work right away and help prevent burnout.

 ### 47. Everything centralized, excellent chat, and super smooth Kanban view

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolás R. | Product Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Centralizing everything in one place is great, in these times of multi-tasking it makes it super easy for me to have everything at hand, the best part is the chat. It allows me to always stay up to date with the team and the Kanban view is wonderful for its fluidity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The system is so comprehensive that the learning curve is often costly in terms of time. But once you get used to it and find your favorite views, that's it. You have the world at your feet!

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had always had all the information fragmented, a total mess adding to the physical paperwork. Now with the confidence of information security and backup, we all store 100% of the documentation and it helps us have everything at hand.

 ### 48. Organization by projects and customizable tasks for a clearer team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dario Y. | Dev, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It is very acceptable the way spaces and folders can be managed; everything can be organized by projects and then complemented with customizable fields in each task. This helps to make everything very clear to the team and easy to search.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Time control with time tracking is sometimes not very accurate or somewhat inconvenient. Occasionally, the team forgets to stop the timer and it keeps running unnecessarily, causing errors in the report.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a lot of disorder with the documentation, ClickUp helped us standardize processes and organize the scattered information mess. All of this optimized delivery times and effective presentations.

 ### 49. Organization Powerhouse with Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lilitha S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp constantly helps me stay organized and keeps me up to date with all my projects. I really appreciate those pop-up notifications because they remind me of tasks, especially when I'm working on a lot of projects. It ensures I'm always on my toes and can reach my deadlines, often even before time. I also find it easy to set up, as it was very straightforward to download and link with my email on my devices. The transition from Monday was smooth because ClickUp not only keeps projects organized but also helps with scheduling and provides reminders that work very well for us.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the interface, especially for people who are beginners, could be more lenient and easier to understand because it's a bit clustered. It took me a week to fully understand how to use ClickUp. A friendlier, easier interface would be helpful.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me stay organized, keep all my projects updated, and meet deadlines, often even ahead of time. It sends helpful reminders, ensuring I'm always on track with my tasks.

 ### 50. ClickUp’s Custom Templates, Integrations, and Support Make Project Management Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyrel R. | Owner/Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp allows me not only to see and control every aspect of every project I’m handling, but also to customize how I do it. Being able to build custom templates that I can use as a foundation for similar projects—and then adjust as needed for each new one—lets me take on almost any project, regardless of the goals or even the industry. Depending on the intended outcome, I can set things up so I have exactly what I need, when I need it, without always starting from zero.

If I need to integrate other programs’ abilities—such as a CRM, a third-party communication platform, or even simple document storage and sharing (especially when clients have their own preferred tools)—I can do that without having to relearn the entire process. I’ve built some pretty extensive workspaces for different clients, and I’ve genuinely never had performance issues within the program. And because workspaces exist outside a single workstation, I don’t have to worry about losing anything important if there’s a hardware problem.

ClickUp’s pricing structure feels quite fair, even though there are a few features I’d like to have at lower tiers. The ability to create wikis, SOPs, and documents is amazing; however, I’d also like the option to lock those so other users can’t change them at the lower pricing tiers. Still, I believe the usefulness of what you get is unmatched. I ran several of my own businesses on the free tier for years before needing to upgrade.

Customer service is also, in my opinion, unmatched. I’ve always been able to get in touch with someone for help, and even simple, non-urgent questions have been handled quickly and professionally.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only real complaint I have ever had has been based around features locked behind the pricing tiers. Most of the time this is a per project issue, since different projects need different options.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps me organized and even accountable to myself, both professionally and personally. I even have a workspace set up for my family that we use to keep our household in order. There really is no limit to what you can use ClickUp for, and the more they expand the features, the less I have to deal with software spread. Internal chat, non-user portals and communications, and agents that help with everyday tasks are the kinds of additions that keep improving ClickUp’s usefulness with every update.
