Most helpful about clickup is the features, since most of what you need in other apps is readily available, making tasks and communication simple. It integrates well with most of the apps myself and a lot of people that I interact with, already use. It performs quickly as updates are sent and received in real time. The pricing is affordable for such a compact work space. The pain points I feel most are all consequences of scale. With 9 spaces, dozens of folders and a sprint list per squad, performance is the first one: heavy dashboards with many cards pulling from multiple spaces take noticeably long to load, and that is exactly when I need them, right before a leadership meeting. Faster aggregation and a clearer indication of when a card's data was last refreshed would help a lot.Second, custom field governance. Fields are easy to create and hard to administer. There is no comfortable way to see every field in the workspace, find duplicates created by different squads, merge them, or safely change a field's type and location once tasks depend on it. At our size this slowly erodes reporting consistency, because two squads end up measuring the same thing in two different fields.Third, sprint and status standardization across spaces. Keeping statuses and sprint structures aligned between teams is still mostly manual discipline, so cross-space reporting requires effort that should be configuration. Templates help, but propagating a later change to structures already in use is painful.Fourth, notifications and search. Notification volume across tasks, comments and Chat is hard to tune by relevance, so important mentions compete with routine updates.
