## ClickUp Reviews
 ### 1. ClickUp’s Dedicated Notification Center Keeps Everything on Track

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anant S. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The best thing about clickup is a dedicated notification (message) center kind of a UI which highlights everything. It also allows you to follow the tickets and get those updates in your inbox. This helps a lot! Furthermore, getting these notification in the gmail inbox (via integration) is really helpful and ensures nothing gets missed.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The thing that I dislike is the time it takes and the amount of memory it consumes. It consumes a lot of memory but still the performance of the tool is not at par (caching is not good).

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We earlier struggled with keeping track of things, linking similar tickets or issues together across different boards which was resolved by ClickUp. Also, it helps in documenting things easily, very comprehensive platform!

 ### 2. Powerful All-In-One Tool Despite Complexity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura P. | Owner & Chief Marketing Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp to be a powerhouse with so many tools in one. I like the ability to add comments, including screenshots, which allows me to give very specific instructions and add greater context to tasks, making everything clear. It's much more robust than other task management software I've tried. I also love the getting things done templates on ClickUp.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it’s a little bit too complicated and it’s hard to onboard certain people, especially those that are not good with technology, like my remodeling contractors and his crew.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to track milestones, assign tasks, and set deadlines. Its tools let me add comments and screenshots, enhancing clarity. It's robust and handles projects effectively. I also love the templates. I have used the marketing templates as well as some of the Getting Things Done templates. I also love the doc feature for brain dumping and notes.

 ### 3. All-in-One Platform That Streamlines Projects with Built-In AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The biggest selling point for me is the consolidation. I love that I can take a dozen different apps and shrink them down into this one platform. I primarily use it for managing complex projects and staying in constant contact with the people I’m working with.
The built-in AI has also become an essential part of my workflow; I use it constantly to organize my thoughts when they're a bit scattered and to polish my writing by correcting any slight mistakes. It’s like having a project manager and an editor rolled into one.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

If I had to provide feedback for improvement, I think the invitation process for new users could be more versatile. It feels a little rigid compared to how flexible and customizable the rest of the platform is. However, besides that, I really like all the features provided.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has solved the problem of "app fatigue." Instead of jumping between a dedicated chat app, a doc editor, and a task manager, I have everything in one place. This keeps my team on the same page and ensures that nothing falls through the cracks.

 ### 4. ClickUp Makes Scheduling and Monthly Planning Effortless

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon M. | System Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It makes scheduling so easy. I have been using clickup to set calendar for the organization I'm working with (Purpose Discovery) and it has been easy to review each month before I start. I know what will happen when and who is responsible. That's one of many things I like in clickup.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think I totally like ClickUp maybe I encountered a challenge when I started using it. I didn't make a full use of all tools at once, it was kind of tricky to familiarize myself with it in a short time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending reminders. It helps me to send reminders to people that I have assigned tasks even if I forget about it.

 ### 5. Feature-Rich and Easy to Use, Perfect for Projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aliasgar P. | Chief Operating Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I had a great experience using ClickUp for a client project. It's very easy to use, and I love that there are so many features available in the free version. It manages tasks really well, which allowed me to deliver a client project end to end without worrying about teams and budgeting for a task management tool. The initial setup was very easy, even for a client who wasn't very tech-savvy.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Nothing as of yet. I love what ClickUp brings to the table!

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is easy to use with many features in the free version. It helps manage tasks effectively and allowed me to complete a client project end to end without worrying about team management or high costs like with other tools.

 ### 6. Streamlined Project Management with AI and Seamless UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ebinazar R. | Project Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really appreciate ClickUp's ability to integrate multiple tools into one platform, which allows running different teams seamlessly and linking tasks across teams for collaboration. The UI is a big plus, offering a seamless experience that makes moving away from legacy systems easy. I also enjoy the comfort of having an AI agent that can summarize work or prepare stand-ups efficiently. The AI features are particularly valuable as they can summarize tasks indefinitely, create tasks with all the necessary documents and articles for accuracy, and allow developers to find relevant task details with documents attached by the AI agent. The initial setup was pretty quick and user-friendly, making it easier for the team to switch from Jira.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

which is connection as an mcp with the other AI models like claude code or codex

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp consolidates multiple tools into one platform, facilitating collaborative work and task linking between teams. The AI features effectively summarize tasks and attach relevant documents, enhancing project management efficiency.

The variety of views like list, board, and calendar also makes it easy to track progress and stay on top of deadlines.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I dislike about ClickUp is that it can feel overwhelming at first because of the number of features and customization options. The interface can get a bit cluttered, and sometimes performance slows down when working with large projects. It takes some time to fully get used to it.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp helped me keep my SENA project deadlines and assignments organized in one place. I mainly used it to track deliverables and due dates, and that made it much easier to avoid missing submissions. The task lists and reminders were especially helpful when I was managing projects with multiple steps. I also appreciated being able to quickly see which tasks were urgent and which ones still needed progress.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that the interface can feel overwhelming at first, especially for new users. There are many features and menus, so sometimes it takes extra time to find certain options or organize tasks the way you want. I also noticed that the platform can occasionally feel cluttered when managing multiple projects at the same time

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is helping me solve organization and time management problems. Before using it, I sometimes had deadlines, project notes, and assignments scattered across different places, which made it harder to keep track of everything. With ClickUp, I was able to organize my SENA project deliverables, set deadlines, and monitor progress more clearly. This helped me stay more organized, reduce stress before submissions, and manage multiple tasks more efficiently.

The high level of customization allows teams to tailor workflows to their needs. It also helps improve organization and productivity by keeping everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One downside of ClickUp is that its wide range of features can feel overwhelming, especially for new users. The interface can sometimes be cluttered, making navigation less intuitive. Additionally, performance can slow down when working with large or complex projects.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of scattered workflows by centralizing tasks, communication, and documentation in one place. This improves team coordination and reduces the need to switch between multiple tools. As a result, it helps increase productivity and keeps projects more organized.

 ### 10. Flexible and Comprehensive Task Management Tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ulysses H. | Amazon specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage my daily tasks, track projects, and stay organized for both work and personal matters. It keeps everything in one place, from to-do lists and deadlines to team collaboration and progress tracking. I like ClickUp for its flexibility and all-in-one functionality, allowing me to customize how I manage my tasks. The features I value most are the customizable views, task management systems, and automation tools. I use the list and board views the most because they make it easy to organize tasks based on my workflow. The initial setup was fairly straightforward, and it pairs well with other tools like Slack to keep team discussions organized.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I've noticed that the performance can occasionally be slow, particularly when working on large projects or with many tasks.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage daily tasks, track projects, and stay organized. It keeps everything in one place, solving problems around organization and time management.

 ### 11. Highly Customizable, Powerful for Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David N. | Global Project Procurement Advisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for work, and it helps me organize my projects and tasks, store documents, and assign tasks. I like the customization and the ability to create as needed, which adds a lot of flexibility. I love the category customization and the ability to use AI to help keep track of tasks. The initial setup was quick and easy, which was also a positive experience.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't think there are really any issues that I have had other than the initial learning curve it took to understand how to create each view.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize my projects and tasks, store necessary documents, and assign tasks efficiently. I love the customization and the AI that helps track tasks.

 ### 12. ClickUp’s Flexible, Scalable All-in-One Hub for Tasks, Docs, and Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp stands out for its flexibility, customization, and ability to centralize tasks, docs, dashboards, automations, and reporting into one platform, making it highly valuable for operational visibility and cross-functional collaboration. Its biggest advantage is that it can scale from simple task management to complex workflows and portfolio management without requiring multiple tools. However, the platform also has a steep learning curve and can become overwhelming or cluttered if not structured properly. Overall, ClickUp is best suited for teams that value customization, scalability, and process-driven work management.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One of the main downsides of ClickUp is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming because of the large number of features and customization options available. New users may experience a learning curve, and without proper structure, workspaces can become cluttered or inconsistent over time. Some teams also notice occasional performance slowdowns in very large or heavily automated setups. Overall, while ClickUp is highly powerful, it works best when there is clear organization and thoughtful implementation.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps businesses solve several common operational and project management challenges by centralizing work, improving visibility, and creating more structured processes. It reduces issues caused by scattered information across spreadsheets, emails, chats, and multiple tools by bringing tasks, documentation, communication, dashboards, and reporting into one platform. ClickUp also helps solve problems related to unclear ownership, missed deadlines, lack of accountability, poor cross-functional collaboration, inconsistent workflows, and limited leadership visibility into team progress. Additionally, its automation, custom workflows, and reporting capabilities help businesses improve efficiency, standardize operations, reduce manual tracking, and scale processes more effectively as teams grow.

 ### 13. All-In-One Solution with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Moclaren M. | Cash Migration Official, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the customization ClickUp offers. I can set up lists, custom fields, and views that actually fit how I work, not the other way around. Instead of juggling Trello for tasks, Google Docs for briefs, and Notion for notes, ClickUp lets me keep everything linked. I can turn action items in a brief directly into tasks without losing context. After getting past the learning curve, it’s hard to go back to simpler tools. ClickUp is worth it as an all-in-one workplace that replaces 3-4 other tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many features. Took me a bit to stop over-complicating my setup. Mobile app is functional but not as smooth as desktop. Loading times can lag if you have a really heavy workplace. The setup was not that easy. It felt very overwhelming as there are so many features.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp lets me manage content projects and client campaigns in one place by linking tasks, briefs, and notes, eliminating the need for Trello, Google Docs, and Notion. I can easily turn action items into tasks without losing context.

 ### 14. Seamless Task Management with Time Tracking

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage all of my tasks and track what I've worked on throughout the week. It's really helpful for managing my time for each task and keeps all links and progress for my projects well organized. I appreciate how ClickUp solves a lot of problems, like managing multiple applications such as Notion and Docs, by allowing me to add Google Docs links directly into events. It's very fast compared to other platforms I've used. A feature I really like is the time tracking, which allows me to track time for every task, and it's useful when I want to redo a task because I can see what I've done previously. The ability to chat and text with my peers within ClickUp if there's an issue with a task is also great. I use the time tracking daily for project tracking, and it helps with tracking project payouts, since my boss tracks time using that feature too. ClickUp also works very well with Google Docs and Google Drive.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes when I paste a link into any of the description or body section of a task, it gets hidden. It just collapses into a smaller version. I would like, if there's a video link I've pasted, to have an option of autoplay, which would be a game changer for me.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage my tasks and time efficiently, keeping everything in one place, including links. It's faster than other platforms and helps streamline juggling applications like Notion and Docs.

 ### 15. Intuitive, Well-Organized Task Sharing That Saves Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Toco L. | Brand & Production Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how it’s organized, how easy it is to share tasks with colleagues, and how much time I save by having everything I need in one place. On top of that, it’s very intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I’m still trying to figure out whether it actually exists, but the only thing that comes to mind is the price. It could be better, especially here in Brazil.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing the design team’s tasks alongside the strategists is always complex, and it takes real attention to detail and clear communication. Being able to manage all of that in a single app like Clickup is fantastic, mainly because we don’t waste time juggling multiple processes—everything is right there in one place.

 ### 16. A Solid Hub for Managing Projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jake H. | Marketing Strategist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

My marketing team used ClickUp for about a year at Ascent. It did a really good job of helping our team manage all our content marketing projects, with all it's moving parts. It made it really simple to check who was doing which part of a project (scheduling, scripts, filming, editing, publishing, etc.) It kept everything together so we could have have multiple projects going on at once without dropping the ball anywhere.

Overall, it just helps cut down on the chaos a bit and keeps things moving without overcomplicating it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Nothing deal-breaking, but there are times when ClickUp can feel a little clunky—especially managing a lot of content projects and campaigns for our mental health company.

There are so many customization options that sometimes simple things take more clicks than they probly should. And when a workspace gets really built out with blogs, approvals, social content, landing pages, etc., it can feel a little overwhelming at first.

We’ve also noticed if everyone on the team organizes things differently, it can get kinda hard to track down content or find the latest version of something.

Overall though, most of that comes from it being super robust rather than actually frustrating day to day.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp mostly solves our problem of content and projects being scattered everywhere. Instead of blog drafts in Google Docs, campaign updates in Slack, approvals in email, and tasks somewhere else, it pulls everything into one spot.

For our content marketing team, that means less time chasing down assets or asking who’s working on what. It’s way easier to keep track of blogs, social posts, landing pages, and deadlines without things slipping through the cracks.

It also makes team coordination smoother. People can usually see project updates on their own instead of needing constant check-ins or a million back-and-forth messages.

 ### 17. Organizes Ideas and Team Tasks Beautifully

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agustina S. | Marketing Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It helps organize my ideas and my team’s tasks

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

“Something that could be improved is the mobile app — it doesn’t have AI features yet. Also, as projects grow, finding things inside folders can sometimes feel a bit tedious

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is helping solve many of our organization and project management challenges. It lets me track tasks, deadlines, creator outreach, and team workflows in one place, rather than having everything scattered across different apps or spreadsheets.

It’s been especially beneficial by making collaboration much easier, improving project visibility, and helping the team stay aligned and accountable. It also saves me time because I can prioritize tasks, automate parts of the workflow, and quickly see what needs attention.

 ### 18. Visually Modern with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul S. | Consultant - Independent Contracts (Commercial Janitorial Services), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I think ClickUp is a really cool platform. The interface is clean, modern, and colorful. Visually, it feels more like walking into a nicely designed Apple store than walking into accounting software from 1997. I appreciate that it's energetic and modern rather than intimidating. It also looks promising for unifying personal and professional management, allowing me to create personal spaces that can be private and also manage company areas all under one umbrella.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I found that there's definitely a learning curve, and part of that learning curve comes from the vocabulary. And ClickUp words don't always mean what normal humans think they mean in business traditionally. So there were moments that I've kinda felt like learning was a new language. When you're in business, you're wanting to move quickly and get things up and going. I also wish the initial setup had been easier. It would really help to have had a simple introductory video specifically focused on vocabulary and structure, and maybe some industry-specific examples. I think Clickup would benefit from providing more of an industry specific onboarding ramp.....as in a marketing ramp....commercial cleaning/services ramp....financial services ramp.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps with organization and planning, and I see it as a way to unify personal and professional worlds under one umbrella.

 ### 19. ClickUp Delivers on the All-in-One Promise with Flexible, Customizable Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is that it actually lives up to the "all-in-one" hype by letting me ditch a bunch of other apps and keep my tasks, docs, and team chats in one place. I’m a big fan of the flexibility—I can organize everything into a clear hierarchy of Spaces and Folders, then flip between a List, a Board, or a Gantt chart depending on how I need to see my work that day. The AI tools are also a huge plus for me because they handle the tedious stuff, like summarizing long threads or automating status updates. Even though it took me a little while to learn my way around all the features, the sheer amount of customization makes it worth it because I can build a workflow that actually fits the way I think.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main thing I dislike about ClickUp is that it can feel like overkill for simple tasks. While the platform is powerful, it often feels cluttered with too many features and settings when I'm just trying to handle quick administrative work or basic tracking.

The steep learning curve makes it hard to move fast, and if the notification settings aren't perfectly tuned, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by constant alerts. Essentially, the software can sometimes make straightforward tasks feel more complicated than they need to be.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of app sprawl by consolidating tasks, documents, and communication into a single platform. Instead of jumping between multiple tools, you benefit from having all your information in one place, which keeps your workflow organized and reduces the risk of losing important details.

By using its automation and AI tools, the software handles repetitive busy work, allowing you to focus on high-priority tasks rather than manual updates. Ultimately, it provides clarity and efficiency, ensuring that deadlines are met and everyone stays on the same page without the chaos of fragmented information.

 ### 20. Click Up Adapts to Any Workflow with One-Click Views

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maisi B. | English Conversation Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The platform adapts easily to any workflow or department. Whether managing marketing campaigns or software development sprints, the system bends to your needs. You can switch between List, Board, Calendar, and Gantt views with one click.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Nothing. I love Click Up and thoroughly enjoy it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me stay organized by keeping all of my tasks, deadlines, and projects in one place. As a college student balancing coursework, research, leadership roles, and work responsibilities, it allows me to track assignments, prioritize tasks, and manage my time more effectively. Using ClickUp helps me stay productive, meet deadlines consistently, and reduce the risk of overlooking important responsibilities.

 ### 21. Customizable Project Management Solution

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp is really customizable. I often have a vision of what would be helpful, and being able to create new areas and new lists and nest things in a way that isn't available out of the box has been really helpful. The ability to create separate folders for different programs, events, and courses, with dedicated lists and linked documents and tasks set up in different ways, is very helpful. ClickUp is really useful for collaborating and tracking individual tasks, especially for a remote team like ours. Using dependencies to keep tasks clear is something we rely on a lot. The ability to break things down into lists and folders has been incredibly helpful for task management.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I do feel like it's a little bit glitchy. Oftentimes, it'll get hung up in the browser or take a while to load. Or if I'm doing a lot of data entry and tasks in a row, it tends to freeze up or overload my browser memory. It wasn't easy to set up. There was a lot to do to make it really customized for our needs. Without a dedicated person, though, I think that would be really difficult to set up again.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage remote task collaboration and tracking, simplify task management with lists and folders, making operations smooth for our team.

 ### 22. Versatile but Complex for Diverse Teams

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gustavo F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that different teams can use ClickUp in different ways and that it is manageable by each one. I use it to manage the development team's backlog and some other administrative tasks within the company.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

On one hand, the fact that ClickUp is so versatile and allows for many things sometimes causes confusion among different teams that use it in different ways. On the other hand, there is an opportunity for improvement in the Custom Fields, as they often overlap between different teams, end up duplicated, or are not used. Also, the setup process was a bit difficult for people not accustomed to management systems, and in the type of plan we have, there were no story points for the sprints. Additionally, tasks lost their original place when dragged from one side to another, which caused conflict.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage the development team's backlog and administrative tasks, which helps different teams use it in different and manageable ways.

 ### 23. Great unified hub for our company use, clean UI, mostly great features, but slow loading times

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

For me, the main differentiator is the main calendar view; being able to have a bird's eye view over absolutely everything (internal work, client projects, deadlines, people's time off, etc.) is amazing.
The UI is clean and not too distracting when you need to stay focused on busy days.
Pricing is OK for small teams, though a lot of features have been moved to higher-priced tiers in recent years.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The loading times are frustratingly slow. It doesn't matter if you're trying to load a busy calendar view that includes hundreds of tasks for the current month, or if you're simply loading 1 task; the waiting times are awful. I know people have been complaining about it for ages, and it should be top of ClickUp's list, but instead, we got more AI stuff.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is our company's hub for almost everything. Looking for SOPs? ClickUp. Need to check on a project's deadline? ClickUp. Need to record video reviews on a specific task, with screen recording, tag the team members, and have a separate conversation in the comment regarding your feedback? ClickUp.

 ### 24. Simplifies Project Management with Intuitive Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeanne R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp enables me to keep all my projects in one team space, which makes it simple. It's particularly useful to not only create a team space that's relevant to different staff members and colleagues, but also to set tasks, manage them, follow up on progress, and mark things as either to do or complete. The initial setup was very easy because it is intuitive.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I can't say that there is anything that doesn't particularly work well. But one thing, I still need to work with and to learn how it works is making use and setting up of templates, such as a project plan. I have to use that more in order to learn how to use it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp enables me to keep all my projects in one team space, making it really simple. It lets me set tasks, manage them, follow-up on progress, and mark things as to do or complete.

 ### 25. Finally, a system my brain actually trusts

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Honestly, what I love most about ClickUp is how it just gets out of my way and lets me run my life the way I want to. Like, I can have my whole week laid out in a list view, then flip to a calendar and suddenly everything makes visual sense same tasks, totally different perspective. That flexibility is kind of addictive.

And the customization! I've set up my personal space exactly how my brain works priorities, due dates, little color tags and now opening it in the morning feels less like a chore and more like having a game plan. It actually makes me want to stay on top of things, which honestly says a lot.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve at the start is a lot. When I first signed up, I spent way too long just figuring out the difference between Spaces, Folders, and Lists. Like, I just wanted to track my tasks, not get a degree in ClickUp architecture. It took me a good week or two before things clicked (no pun intended).

The mobile app is also a bit of a letdown compared to the desktop experience. Sometimes I just want to quickly check something off on my phone and instead I'm waiting for it to load or tapping through three screens to get to what I need. For personal task management, I'm often on the go, so that friction adds up.

And honestly? The notifications can get overwhelming fast. If you don't spend time upfront tweaking your notification settings, your inbox turns into chaos pretty quickly. It's fixable, but it shouldn't feel like work just to manage your alerts.

None of these are dealbreakers for me, I still use it every day but they're definitely things I wish were smoother out of the box.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp, my "system" was basically a mix of sticky notes, a notes app, and a running list in my head which, spoiler alert, does not work. Things were constantly slipping through the cracks and I'd remember a task at 11pm that was supposed to be done that morning. It was stressful in this low-key, constant way.

ClickUp basically became the one place where everything lives. I dump every task, errand, idea, or deadline in there and I actually trust it now which is the big thing. When something's in ClickUp, I know it won't disappear. That peace of mind alone has been huge for me.

The recurring tasks feature has been a quiet game-changer too. Things like "pay bills," "weekly reset," or "call mom" I set them once and they just show up when they're supposed to. I'm not manually re-adding them or relying on memory anymore. It sounds small but it's saved me from dropping so many balls.

And because everything's organized by priority and due date, my mornings are genuinely calmer. I wake up, open ClickUp, and I already know what the day looks like. No more decision fatigue about what to tackle first. It's basically given me a productivity system that actually sticks and I've tried a lot of them.

 ### 26. All-in-One CRM and Task Manager with Great Value

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Codi W. | Creative Design & Tech Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp's simple dashboards that help me see the whole team overview, showing what everyone is working on and where they are at. The drag-and-drop tabs let me see key data fast. ClickUp serves as a one-stop shop for a CRM, task handler, and time tracker, which is really convenient. The initial setup was easy, and switching from Asana was prompted by ClickUp being cheaper at the time and offering lots more features.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

More customization on organizing spaces. Would be great if I could hide things from certain employees so they only see a dashboard to make it easier for them.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is my one-stop shop for CRM, task handling, and time tracking, keeping my tasks organized and on track. I like its simple dashboards for team overview, and drag-and-drop tabs for fast data access.

 ### 27. Flexible, All-in-One Task Manager with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like using ClickUp to organize personal projects, content planning, and university work because I can keep tasks, deadlines, notes, and progress tracking all in one place instead of switching between multiple apps. The calendar view and task organization features are especially helpful for staying on top of deadlines and managing longer projects. I love how flexible and customizable it is, allowing me to set things up differently depending on the type of project I'm working on, which makes it feel much more useful than a basic task app. Having tasks, docs, calendars, and reminders all connected together in one platform makes staying organized a lot easier and saves me from constantly switching between different apps. It's really convenient and helps me focus and keep track of what still needs to be done as everything is connected in one workspace. I also appreciate the templates and guides for getting started quickly, which made the initial setup straightforward.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing that could be improved is that the platform can feel a little overwhelming at first because there are so many features and customization options. It took me some time to fully understand how to organize everything the way I wanted. Sometimes the interface can also feel a bit busy, especially when managing larger workspaces with lots of tasks. A simpler onboarding experience or cleaner default layouts for new users would probably make it easier to get started.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize personal projects, content planning, and university work, keeping tasks, deadlines, and notes all in one place. It helps me manage larger projects by breaking them down into smaller tasks and tracking progress, making everything more organized and manageable.

 ### 28. ClickUp increasingly complete for managing projects solo

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel Y. | Management Consultant, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I work as a freelance consultant. I had been using it to manage projects for a little over 2 years, but the application kept adding features and at this moment I am even testing if I can stop using Notion, to manage with just ClickUp.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it feels too much for me, in the sense that I work independently and it has many features designed for teams, which in my case are unnecessary. Anyway, for now, I don't see it as a negative thing.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When working in consulting, I can manage each project within the app: not only the schedule and task execution, but also the tracking of each activity, client contacts, etc. Additionally, I can internally reference everything within the same application (links, documents, communications, tables, schedules, activities, etc.), which helps me keep the information organized and at hand.

 ### 29. Intuitive Interface That Makes Finding Information Fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ross M. | Manufacturing Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The interface. The ability to find very different kinds of information quickly. Being able to have different kinds of information in one environment

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the build it yourself framework can be challenging. On one hand you can make any structure you want for spaces etc. but you can also make something convoluted very quick. I think 'space templates' or more information and examples to get started would be useful. That was the biggest issue we had I think, trying to configure everything while figuring it out, and still trying to do normal work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is solving the lack of a standardized, centralized system for managing engineering projects, documentation, task ownership, and process execution across the product lifecycle.

 ### 30. ClickUp Centralizes Everything with Powerful Integrations and Fast Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ricardo C. | Customer Success , Partners, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The best thing ClickUp does is centralize literally everything in one place — documents, meeting notes, task links — it’s basically like a task manager combined with a CRM integrated with Slack lol.
There are countless integrations, it can build dashboards, and the support team is quick to respond. The pricing, though, can sometimes be a bit disappointing.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Just like there are benefits, the downside of ClickUp is that almost every action requires credits or a more advanced plan.
They really know how to build a platform and guide users through a cross-sell and upsell journey.

You can usually find what you need, but you’ll probably have to pay extra for it.
There’s also not a very clear control over the credits — they just run out, and that’s it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I see ClickUp as a giant Lego set, where you can adapt workflows based on your operation’s needs.
There are countless ways to manage tasks — in our case, we use it to handle both the customer success pipeline and the sales process.

It’s honestly a huge help. You can integrate an AI note-taker and have everything automatically synced into documents, then just connect it to the platform.
Brain, their ChatGPT-like assistant, is also really good — it can find basically anything across the workspace.

But like I mentioned before, all of that usually comes with an extra cost.

 ### 31. It is highly functional for comprehensive IT project management, yet overly complex advanced settings and insufficient industry-specific reporting limit its seamless use for GDPR-focused German IT service teams.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** giuliocristian m. | Senior IT Infrastructure & Cloud Solutions Specialist, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Working in German IT cloud services, I find its high adaptability the most practical advantage. We can flexibly switch multiple viewing modes to manage long-term hybrid cloud deployment projects and daily server maintenance work separately. Custom field functions let us mark GDPR compliance levels, hardware deployment parameters and security inspection standards clearly on each task. It comes with plenty of ready-made workflow templates that greatly lower the cost of building internal management processes. We can directly attach technical operation manuals and standardized compliance guidelines to corresponding tasks for team members to view anytime. Timely deadline reminders help us strictly follow server regular inspection cycles, and smooth mobile access also enables me to respond to sudden IT arrangement demands in time outside working hours.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The role and data permission system is too intricate to set up quickly. As we need to strictly isolate internal core infrastructure data and external client project data to meet GDPR requirements, it takes us lots of time to sort out access rights for different staff roles. When importing massive IT batch tasks, the desktop client often runs slowly and affects daily operation efficiency. Moreover, the official built-in report templates are too universal, without targeted statistical dimensions for IT infrastructure operation and cloud project delivery. Every time we submit internal audit data and client progress statements, we have to manually reorganize and modify the exported content, which adds extra repetitive work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using it, our team’s work records were scattered in various emails, forms and independent office tools, causing low progress communication efficiency. Now all cloud architecture planning, equipment deployment arrangements and technical fault handling are gathered on one platform. It rationalizes team task distribution, shortens cross-department work docking time, and sorts out all work records in line with local data compliance requirements. It effectively cuts down daily IT operation management costs and keeps our cloud solution delivery and on-site technical maintenance work stable and orderly.

 ### 32. Easy-to-Use Tool for Collaborative Work with Kanban, Whiteboard, and Gantt

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karina Celli C. | Consultora técnica especialista em Asana, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

For me it really helps to organize a more collaborative work by using the kanban view, for example. And is also very good to organize ideas and projects with the whiteboard qnd the gantt view.
I think is import to say that is very easy to use, you can learn very fast.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The use of formula fields is not very good.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My team works from home, so we need to stay very organized and be able to collaborate smoothly on projects. We use the Kanban board a lot to organize our sprints, and we rely on the Gantt view to plan and track our projects. We also use the Whiteboard to analyze ideas during meetings and keep everyone aligned.

 ### 33. Native Google & QBO Integration with Powerful Automations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heidi B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love that there’s a native integration with Google and QBO. The automations cut down on a lot of manual tasks, and I’m excited to create an AI Agent for even more automation. We had a call with Simon to go over our setup and the available features, and he was very helpful. Even though it was a short call, I learned a lot, and I’m looking forward to meeting with him again.

Once ClickUp is fully implemented, I think it will substantially reduce our workload and improve communication between the project management side and the financial/billing side. This will definitely be a tool we use every day. So far, we’ve jumped right in and it’s been pretty easy to get started. Over time, I’m confident we’ll continue refining and perfecting our workflow.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes I feel like I'm going in circles, but that could possibly be our set up and my lack of knowing my way around the program. We are using it to track construction projects and we are still in the setup phase so still doing a few things manually while we figure out how to automate things.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping to track various construction projects and keep clear communication between 3 different people working on various aspects of the business who are all working virtually. We are setting it up to automate many manual tasks so we can focus on the higher level more important work.

 ### 34. Highly Customisable, Intuitive ClickUp That Adapts Perfectly to My Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how customisable it is. I can tailor views, task layouts, and workflows to fit specific project needs, which makes it much easier to stay organised and improves my overall performance and efficiency. The ability to create custom fields is especially valuable, as it allows tasks to capture exactly the information needed for different processes. I also really like the UI/UX, which feels intuitive and makes navigating between projects, tasks, and views straightforward. Overall, the flexibility helps adapt the platform to the way I work rather than forcing a rigid structure.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One area that could be improved is how prominently AI features are surfaced throughout the platform. I really like the innovation behind features such as AI fields, AI bots, and AI users, and they can be genuinely useful for productivity and automation. However, at times the AI functionality can feel a little over-emphasised within the overall experience. A slightly more balanced approach to how these features are introduced and surfaced would make the experience feel even more seamless.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me centralise and organise both my work-related and personal tasks in one place, which makes it much easier to stay on top of everything. It solves the problem of managing multiple priorities across different tools and workflows by giving me a single, customisable platform to track tasks, deadlines, and progress. This has improved my productivity, organisation, and overall performance by helping ensure nothing gets missed and making it easier to prioritise effectively.

 ### 35. ClickUp is the All-In-One Solution for Business Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** oluebube c. | ClickUp Automation Expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like ClickUp's dashboard because it helps me map out my plans before starting to build my workflow. It also helps me organize my workflows in spaces, folders, and lists, and even has sub-tasks and tags, which adds to its versatility. The custom fields are great too, allowing me to navigate effectively within ClickUp. Another brilliant feature is the time tracking capability, which ensures accurate time logging when working with coworkers or clients, without any chance of cheating or overworking. Also, setting up ClickUp was so easy and intuitive, making my transition smooth. Lastly, I appreciate that ClickUp integrates well with other tools I use, like Slack, email, and Mailchimp, which makes it even more efficient for my needs.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only disadvantage I encounter with ClickUp is the delay when working on it. When I want to navigate between different spaces, it takes about five to ten seconds to move. That's the only disadvantage I've noticed.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is a one-stop tool for business operations, project management, and more. It handles form filling, automations, and provides an interface like SOPs, making it versatile for various industries. It simplifies workflow organization, enabling me to manage diverse tasks effectively within different businesses.

 ### 36. Highly Flexible with Custom Views, Slightly Steep Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matias L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp's flexibility and the abundance of features it offers, which I find really helpful. I highly recommend creating custom views to focus on what's needed, especially when dealing with a lot of clients. I enjoy using ClickUp's brain to quickly get summaries and last activity without reading through all the cards. The AI features are also a plus for me, particularly given our larger team size.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I find the initial setup hard; it would be beneficial to have trainings at the beginning. Small hacks about cards templates, or organization in general could be helpful. I'm aware that there are huge trainings, but sometimes, having small tricks could be more efficient. For example, cards organizations, card templates, or connecting ClickUp with GitHub or BitBucket.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for time management, centralizing documentation and communication, and to define standards. Its flexibility and custom views help me focus by showing only what's needed. ClickUp Brain saves time by summarizing activities, avoiding the need to read entire cards.

 ### 37. My #1 Software out of the 400 plus I use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | CEO, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp allows me to do things that can't otherwise be done due to their complexity and breadth of team members involved.

I use it to store, manage and plan every single area of my life and business and the beautiful UI delights me to do so!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I use another more robust software called Boardmix for mind maps and white boards. I do not feel like ClickUp does these features at the levels I need for our business of designing highly automated business processes.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm ADD and have one of the most complex business models by necessity.

ClickUp does the whole "second brain" thing better than Notion (Houses all key data and resources), AND has an outrageously cutting edge project management suite of tools from time tracking, to custom dashboards, Gantt charts.

So it helps me lead a team of remote workers and stay in control of all that our business throws at us and makes sure my team can handle all the tasks involved in what we do.

 ### 38. Powerful Tool for Unified Workflow and Visual Planning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I really like that ClickUp is that it gives me one organized space to manage the many moving parts of teaching. As a college professor, the main way I use it is to keep track of course documents (assignment sheets, lecture slides, etc.), assignment deadlines, lecture notes, and other aspects associated with course design. So instead of having all these pieces scattered across random paper notes, emails I send to myself, the LMS (Canvas in my case), and my calendar, ClickUp works to focus all these pieces into a holistic workflow (I use one workspace for each course). The integration feature makes this possible and makes the workspace easy to manage.

The features I most rely on are tasks, subtasks (incredibly useful), documents, and due dates. The structure of the interface has been especially useful for my ADHD brain since it makes the sort of invisible work of teaching visible and easier for me to act on. The software allows me to see what needs to be done, what its current stage is, and my immediate next step to take. It also runs smoothly, so you are not wasting time trying to fight with the interface.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the main improvement would be how long it takes to set it up and just that there's a really steep learning curve, so it can take a little bit to get started. But once you get started, it really is so useful and becomes easier to manage, and there are numerous resources made available to facilitate the onboarding process.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With teaching and research, it is so challenging keeping track of deadlines, notes, documents, and general tasks. It involves a lot more than simply showing up to class. I have ADHD so it feels particularly tough to maintain everything in order. ClickUp helps me organize and manage deadlines, course design, grading, lectures, and research notes with ease, especially if you take advantage of its smart features and AI integration. It organizes everything well and allows me to create helpful sub-steps. It also allows to alternate between different views to get a full picture. While the set up was time-consuming, the gains in productivity time and stress levels associated with organizing a workflow make that kind of investment worthy.

 ### 39. Streamlined Task Management with Impressive Calendar Sync

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sami H. | Project Manager, Translation and Localization, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how organized ClickUp is. It helps me keep track of tasks by allowing me to set the start date and due date, and everything syncs seamlessly with my Google Calendar. This integration is pretty helpful for ensuring I know what needs to be done and when, which keeps things running smoothly. Additionally, I appreciate that ClickUp makes it easy to check the status of tasks and see if anything is pending or completed. I can also refer back to previously completed tasks if needed. ClickUp is also lively and smooth, making it pleasant to use from the start.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes the calendar sync doesn't work properly. So if the synchronization between ClickUp and Google Calendar can get fixed, so that it can better track and set everything on the calendar, that would be great.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for managing translation & interpretation tasks, seeing due dates, completion status, and all necessary information in one place. It keeps everything organized and synced with my Google Calendar, which is very helpful for keeping tasks on track and clients up-to-date.

 ### 40. Highly Flexible Task Management with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William L. | Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the flexibility of ClickUp, which allows me to keep things structured. The hierarchy with folders and lists is similar to a file structure, which some people prefer. I can also do more advanced filtering and using tags to look up things. I appreciate the core set of features for tasks and the ability to add custom fields. The initial setup was very easy, letting me start testing things and creating tasks and subtasks effortlessly. I like that there's a free option that is very robust that allows you to test things out. Also, I've used it to connect with Google Drive, which has been helpful for searching through notes, tasks, and file documents.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

On mobile, the details of a task can take a while to load, even if it's just text.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me stay organized with multiple simultaneous projects, allowing me to see what's due and the urgency. It's really helped me not lose track of anything important.

 ### 41. Innovative Flexibility and Seamless Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faby X. | Chief of Staff to the CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate ClickUp's flexibility and innovation. It's inspiring to have the possibility to collaborate with development teams to create new products. The system is flexible enough to be used in ways not initially intended, which kickstarted our company's ability to innovate. It's a win-win because ClickUp continues to seek innovation and allows us to collaborate and ask for more. Additionally, I've been able to create many spaces with different purposes without complexity, which shows how user-friendly it is.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The integration between ClickUp and the Microsoft Office package (Emails, Calendar, Teams Meetings and Calendars) could be better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for managing supply chains, organizing purchase demands, coordinating logistics, and automating workflows, which helps us bring innovation to a traditional industry.

 ### 42. All-in-One, Flexible Workspace That Keeps Our Team Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsti H. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is that it brings everything into one place. Tasks, timelines, notes, and updates all live in the same system, which reduces back and forth between tools.

I also value the flexibility. We can customize statuses, fields, and views to match how our team actually works. That makes it easier to stay organized and gives clear visibility into who is responsible for what and where projects stand at any given time.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp can feel overwhelming at times. There are many features and configuration options, which is helpful, but it also means the system can become cluttered if it is not set up carefully. New users often need guidance to understand how our team uses it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us keep our work organized in one central place. Tasks are clearly assigned, deadlines are visible, and priorities are easier to manage. This reduces confusion about who is responsible for what and helps projects move forward without constant check ins.

It also allows conversations to happen directly within each task. That keeps context, decisions, and updates tied to the work itself instead of scattered across email or chat. As a result, information is easier to find, new team members can get up to speed more quickly, and we spend less time searching for background details.

 ### 43. Centralized Project Management, Needs Notification Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** saurav k. | Senior Solutions Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp provides a centralized location for both our clients and our team to communicate, share project timelines, and manage project status updates. The platform's shareability allows us to have everything in one place, which is great for collaboration. We can actively comment and communicate with each other, enhancing teamwork. The ability for our clients to directly reach out and have a centralized location to communicate on is very beneficial. Additionally, I find the ability to create lists and have as many unique folders as needed within spaces extremely valuable. This helps us segregate information for different use cases like project statuses, support ticketing tools, and live project management while still allowing collaboration on relevant information.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are too many notifications that get sent out. Some areas of the platform do not need to have notifications. As far as I'm aware right now, notifications are either all on or all off, or you need to really specifically, for each task that's assigned, disable notifications for yourself. It would be nice to have a way to completely turn off notifications for lists or project folders as a whole. The initial setup was okay, but there's a lot of capability in ClickUp, and at the same time, you can get very lost in the tool. To actually get it to a usable point and to match with the way we are using it, it definitely took some time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp provides a centralized location for communication on project timelines, enabling us to see project status updates, manage resources, and adjust as needed.

 ### 44. Easy platform to digest, but the constant unnecessary updates make it frustrating.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find the interface very digestible, and ClickUp is, for the most part, easy to navigate. I like the concept of ClickUp as a project management tool and it definitely makes my work much easier. I like that we can place tickets or requests to go to other teams and then link those tasks together.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I find some of your updates completely unnecessary. I feel like all too frequently you change the look of your interface when it is not needed. ClickUp 3.0 does not conveniently show due dates like ClickUp 2.0 did, I have to drag for it, and then it reverts back and it is a continuous cycle. Due dates, in my opinion, are one of the most important features of ClickUp. I don't like that I have to go directly into subtasks to add dates and other features when I used to be able to do that on the main task. It makes the process incredibly tedious. I also find that ClickUp 3.0 is slower and lags more than the previous update.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This truly works well in team functions and is a constant reminder of tasks and projects we have ongoing. I like that I can see what my teammates are doing. I also like how it keeps historic data, as I can go back to tasks from many years ago and see our rationale for our past decisions. That is incredibly helpful to me.

 ### 45. Customizable Yet Overwhelming at Times

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how customizable ClickUp is. The ability to use lists and folders, subtasks, and nesting really helps make it custom. You can also create custom fields, which helps track things effectively. Automations are another plus; they can automatically apply a tag based on a trigger, keeping us organized. The fact that tasks can live on multiple lists is super helpful because it makes organizing different tasks easier, like for trade shows or product releases while putting them on the current sprint. Using these features helps us see everything we need at a glance and keep everything on track.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The inbox is a little cumbersome. I wish there was more customization for the inbox where all the alerts and updates on tasks can sometimes be overwhelmingly cluttered. It would be helpful if you could sort by person, comment, or upload. Also, while the initial setup was easy, it was hard to set up an organization system that would work for my small team. Additionally I hate that they keep pushing ClickUp brain on my account. I would like to be able to turn it off by person, not as an organization. The search defaults to ClickUp Brain, and I would really like to turn that off.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me with collaboration, letting everyone work in the same space so we can see each other's tasks. It keeps track of tasks, so nothing falls through the cracks, and helps us plan with an agile sprint model.

 ### 46. Highly Customizable with Intuitive Navigation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erik A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp as a powerful tool for organizing and compiling data, links, media, tasks, and statuses in a workflow that's incredibly easy to navigate. I really like that you can customize it almost completely to how you want it, with almost no limit to customization. You can divide tasks at the macro level (lists, folders, spaces, etc.) and within those, create task statuses and fully customizable add-ons like checklists and links. I appreciate the features, interface, and ability to customize in ClickUp, which I find far superior compared to my previous tool, Zoho. The initial setup was intuitive, making the learning curve easy enough.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only improvements that I would make would be a better ability to embed media and to better organize attachments (like create folders for them).

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize and compile data, links, media, tasks, and statuses in an easy-to-navigate workflow.

 ### 47. Streamlined Team Collaboration with Custom Views

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris J. | PMM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like using ClickUp to manage everything in our marketing team because it helps keep everything in one place, replacing multiple tools that our team previously used. I enjoy the custom views such as the board for our content calendar, the Gantt for tracking campaign timelines, and the list view for weekly standups—this flexibility allows each person to see things the way they prefer. The automation feature is solid and saves a ton of time since we've been able to set up rules that handle tasks, notifications, and status updates without manual intervention. It has eliminated a lot of back and forth that used to slow us down and now we have visibility on exact progress and assignments within our projects.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is slightly steep. The onboarding team took longer than expected. There are so many features that one can get overwhelmed and may only use 30% of what's there. Also the mobile app is not as strong for quick updates. Sometimes, everything feels glitchy with a big update but that's occasionally. The hierarchy setup can be difficult to someone new. People set it up differently and then nothing is consistent across the team. Custom fields are another - there's no real guidance on when to use them. Better onboarding templates for marketing teams can help. Basic things on the mobile app can be better like managing automations and navigating spaces. A more stripped-down version would be better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps our marketing team's work centralized, integrating task assignments, timelines, and statuses. It replaces multiple tools, streamlines project visibility, reduces back and forth, and adapts to individual work styles with custom views and automation, saving us a lot of time.

 ### 48. ClickUp: A Centralized Productivity Hub with Fair Pricing and Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love ClickUp—especially as a multi-time founder—because it’s the perfect centralized work management system for both solo founders and teams.

As an operations-focused founder, I think people often underestimate the value of having one central place to reference everything across apps, projects, and resources. It saves teams time and mental bandwidth, and it’s been a major unlock for productivity and overall effectiveness.

I also really appreciate the connectivity through integrations, especially within different views. This is huge for staying focused and not wasting time bouncing back and forth between other apps.

The added channel feature, along with clips, has been great for serving clients and has also helped with team trainings and onboarding flows.

I’ve used ClickUp for several years across multiple plans, and I can confidently say the pricing is among the fairest for the features you get—especially compared to other project management tools. That makes it a strong fit for startup teams that are just getting used to digital task management, because they can grow without constantly bloating overhead.

Since 2020, performance has improved a lot in terms of speed, and I’m seeing fewer and fewer bugs, which is great. It feels like the team is genuinely dedicated to building a great product, not just marketing features that don’t actually add value.

One of my favorite features is the integrated search. Because our team has Google Drive and our calendar integrated, we can search across those apps and find what we need in one place. I also don’t have to leave ClickUp to join a meeting scheduled on my calendar—again, a major time and mental bandwidth saver.

At this point, our firm has started recommending ClickUp to clients who want improved work management systems, because it really is a great tool for growing teams that are serious about their systems and operations.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I really wish ClickUp would add more agency-specific features, especially things like clear onboarding pathways for new clients. I noticed there’s an integration with Quickbooks, but I’d also love to see an integration with Stripe. A built-in proposal feature would be a total game changer too, and I’d definitely pay for that feature, along with other tools that better support agencies.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping my overhead low and centralized has helped me keep my mental bandwidth focused and streamlined. ClickUp allows us to organize and manage our clients more effectively, which supports stronger brand equity for us over the long term. It has also solved a major collaboration challenge, especially with the different permission settings that let us put governance guidelines into play immediately.

 ### 49. Feature-Rich, But Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp's hierarchy as it lets me see both a birds-eye view of projects and zoom into details when necessary. This feature is key for me to understand what's going on from an individual level to the organization as a whole. It helps in organizing and assigning tasks efficiently, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and giving me a holistic view of how our team is functioning.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are a ton of features, and it was quite a learning curve to get set up for our small team at first. Also, too many default email notifications, which caused a negative affect on team buy-in when we first implemented. I also wish I could download csvs on our plan, but it's limited due to the tiers.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps every task organized and assigned, preventing anything from falling through the cracks. It offers a birds-eye view to track project status and identify risks, helping me see details when needed and understand our team's overall functioning.

 ### 50. Fun and Easy Project Management with ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I've been using ClickUp for about two years now, and it's genuinely become the backbone of how I run my work. I use it to manage everything from client tasks and project timelines to my own personal to-do lists at home.

What I love most is how flexible it is. I've set up separate Spaces for each of my clients, with Lists inside for ongoing tasks, deliverables, and recurring work. I also love that you can create documents directly inside Spaces, which adds so much extra clarity, everything you need is just right there. The multiple views are a game-changer, too. I switch between List and Board depending on what I'm working on, and I can create a new Space in minutes whenever I start something new.

Honestly, ClickUp is one of those tools that keeps rewarding you the more time you put into it. There is a learning curve at the start, but once it clicks, the flexibility and features make it super worth it. If you're trying to get organized without being locked into a rigid system, I really recommend giving it a go.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is real. ClickUp offers a lot of possibilities, and when you first open it, it can honestly feel a little overwhelming. There are so many features, views, and settings that figuring out where to even start takes some time. I remember spending a while just trying to understand the difference between Spaces, Folders, and Lists and how they all connect.

Once it clicks it's fine, but I do think new users need to set aside some time to actually explore and get comfortable with it. It's not something you can just open and intuitively figure out in 10 minutes the way you might with a simpler tool. That said, once you get the hang of it, the complexity is kind of the point, because it gives you way more flexibility than the simpler alternatives.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem ClickUp solves for me is having everything in one place. Before, I was jumping between notes, emails, and random docs trying to keep track of what needed to get done for which client. Now I have a dedicated Space for each client with Lists for their ongoing tasks, deliverables, and deadlines, so nothing falls through the cracks.
