"Streamlined Task Management and Collaboration for Software Teams"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

As a software engineer, what I appreciate most about ClickUp is its comprehensive platform that brings together task management, documentation, and communication in a seamless way. The ability to customize workflows, along with robust automations and integrations, allows me to stay organized, minimize context switching, and ensure the whole development team remains on the same page. Tools such as ClickUp Docs and Agile-oriented task views simplify both planning and progress tracking. All in all, ClickUp helps me save time and enhances my productivity. What do you dislike about ClickUp?

At times, ClickUp can seem a little overwhelming due to the sheer number of features it offers. When working on large projects, I have noticed it can be slow. However, despite these issues, it generally functions well overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ClickUp Supercharges Productivity with Evolving Features"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp's ability to make our work routine more productive and easier. Not to mention the automation features that have greatly improved our work. The task and project system is constantly evolving. Integrating it into our routine is quite fun. Every day we have new things to build here. He provides daily alerts on best practices and extra resources, which makes us feel supported in everything. What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Perhaps the limitations regarding some resources available in certain regions. We've already paid for licenses, and for some 'basic' resources, we'd have to pay extra. But nothing that compromises the overall experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great Task Management Across Boards, But Dashboards Need Simplifying"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

The ability to have one task listed in different boards. This feature helps me alot as a manager of a department that serves as an operating unit for every single other department in the company. When they create tasks that needs to be worked on by my team members, I (or my team) can simply add that task into our own board and work on it there. This helps me monitor the work load of my own team members.

Only upside of this is that the task carries the same name in all locations. Some tasks are very sensitive and should be mentioned outside of those individual boards. In those instances, manual task creation is necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

As much as I love the dashboards and the layouts, I think its still not user friendly enough. It took me more than a month to figure out the basics of filters and how to match certain views for my dashboard view purpose. Bare in mind that ive gone through all source materials, made email requests for help in terms of how to make simple cards show what I exactly want.

If this feature can be simplified by adding an Ai option, where I explain what i want, which board to extract from, who are the assignees etc, the Ai will build the necessary Card with the proper filters and settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The intuitive interface and robust customization options mean I can set up my workspace exactly how I need it, leading to a noticeable boost in productivity. What do you dislike about ClickUp?

While the overall experience is outstanding, I do wish there were a more centralized space for team chat and discussion. However, even this minor area for improvement doesn’t detract from the overall efficiency and effectiveness of ClickUp’s collaboration tools.

Your feedback on G2 has been a fantastic way to share my positive experience with ClickUp, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to help others discover how it can transform their workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful All-in-One Tool with a Bit of a Learning Curve"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like best about ClickUp is how customizable and flexible it is. You can structure projects exactly the way your team works — whether that’s using lists, boards, or timelines. The ability to create custom fields, statuses, and automations really helps streamline workflows without forcing you into a one-size-fits-all system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

While ClickUp is an excellent all-in-one platform, its flexibility can sometimes be overwhelming. There’s a bit of a learning curve, especially for new users trying to navigate all the views, automations, and customization options. Once you get used to it, though, it’s incredibly powerful. "Unified Solution for Agency Workflow, Excellent Integration"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I appreciate ClickUp for being a comprehensive solution that enhances workflow by integrating messaging and task management, eliminating the need to toggle between different platforms like Trello and Slack. The setup process was incredibly straightforward, making it easy for me to begin utilizing the platform effectively. ClickUp's reliability ensures that all agency work can be managed seamlessly within one tool. I find the integration of AI testing particularly beneficial as it provides immediate feedback and answers, supporting efficient project management. The platform's speed and the effectiveness of its integration features greatly enhance team collaboration and communication. I find the dashboard feature particularly advantageous, allowing me to oversee my team's activities clearly, something I couldn't do on Slack and Trello. This visibility into time management and task progress for everyone in my agency is invaluable. I also value the chat feature because it allows mentioning tasks and communicating seamlessly with team members, creating a cohesive and efficient workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I find the pricing a bit high and wish that ClickUp was more affordable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Versatile Powerhouse for Project Management"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I have been using ClickUp for over two years, and it's been an incredible tool for managing projects and staying organized. I use it daily for task management, project planning, and team coordination, which helps me keep everything in one place, from timelines and goals to communication, making work much more efficient and stress-free. After experiencing Asana, I found ClickUp to offer everything in one place with more flexibility, including views, automations, and integrations, making everything feel more connected and efficient. The setup process was quite simple and intuitive, thanks to ClickUp's guides and user-friendly interface, which was smooth except for understanding some advanced automation features initially. ClickUp effectively keeps my work organized, saving time by managing tasks, tracking deadlines, and enabling collaboration seamlessly. Timeline management has significantly improved, particularly using ClickUp's Gantt view, which helps mitigate delays and keeps tasks on track. I find the task management, dashboards, and automation features most useful; they make tracking progress, organizing work, and reducing manual effort much simpler. Task management enables me to organize and prioritize in one place, dashboards offer a clear visual overview of progress and deadlines, and automations save time by handling actions like status updates and task assignments, ensuring a smooth and consistent workflow. Additionally, ClickUp's integration with Hubstaff allows for seamless time tracking directly on tasks without the need to switch tools. I would choose ClickUp again for its flexibility, powerful features, and ability to consolidate everything in one place. Its ability to customize workflows, along with features like dashboards, time tracking, and seamless integration, makes team collaboration effortless, ensuring project transparency and alignment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I would like to see improved loading speed and performance when handling larger workspaces or dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Real-Time Insights and Effortless Project Tracking with ClickUp"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like best about ClickUp is its ability to visualise progress and track productivity in real time. The dashboards and reporting features make it easy to turn complex task data into clear, actionable insights. I especially appreciate how I can see project progress and team performance at a glance, helping me quickly identify bottlenecks and stay on top of deadlines. It gives me a complete, real-time view of how work is moving, which makes managing projects far more efficient and transparent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

What I dislike about ClickUp is its Gantt chart feature. While it’s useful in theory, I find it a bit clunky and less intuitive compared to other views. It can be slow to load with larger projects, and adjusting task dependencies or timelines sometimes feels cumbersome. The interface could be smoother and more responsive to make scheduling and planning easier. Overall, the Gantt chart doesn’t feel as streamlined or user-friendly as the rest of ClickUp’s tools. "The Essential Command Center for Managing a Large Web Portfolio"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

As a Web Developer and Team Lead responsible for managing over 80 client websites monthly, ClickUp has become the absolute backbone of my operations. What I like best is its incredible flexibility and how it consolidates multiple tools into one.

I've created custom workflows for everything from routine WordPress maintenance and accessibility audits (WCAG/ADA) to complex Google Analytics 4 implementations. The ability to create task templates is a massive time-saver for recurring client requests. We use custom fields to track things like PHP versions, key plugins, and hosting providers for each site, which keeps critical information right where we need it.

The different views (List, Board, Calendar) allow my team to visualize work in the way that makes the most sense for them, which is great for managing both development sprints and long-term client roadmaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

The platform's greatest strength—its vast number of features—can also be its biggest hurdle. For new team members or clients who are invited as guests, the initial learning curve can be quite steep. It sometimes feels like you need to "tame" the platform to fit your needs, which can take a bit of setup time.

Additionally, while the mobile app is functional for checking notifications and simple tasks, it doesn't always have the same speed and robust feel as the desktop or web app, which can be a minor inconvenience when I'm on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Task Management, Time-Saving Automation"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I appreciate how ClickUp has significantly enhanced the organization of projects through its intuitive structure of Spaces, folders, and lists. This structure made everything much clearer and scalable right from the start. The setup process was straightforward, and I found the numerous features exciting to explore. The tutorials were incredibly helpful, making it easier for me to get acquainted with the platform's capabilities. I also love the ready-made templates, which drastically simplified the setup process and saved me a lot of time. Furthermore, the automation features in ClickUp are fantastic; they streamline my workflow efficiently. I find the list and board views indispensable as they make tracking tasks easy. ClickUp's ability to consolidate multiple tools into one platform has been a game-changer, saving me time and enhancing productivity. Overall, ClickUp has made managing daily tasks and reporting smoother and more centralized for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I found there were many features to explore initially, which may overwhelm new users. Although the setup was easy and tutorials were helpful, the breadth of features could still pose a challenge for those just starting out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
