### 1. ClickUp’s Intuitive UI and Powerful Features Keep Our Team Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The ClickUp user interface is very easy to use, and keeps things well organized. The different feautres they offer like tags, priority filters and publish date filters keep teams on the same page. It's very easy to make tasks and keep track of projects with their subtask feature.

It integrates well with my Chrome browser so I can easily stay on top of things. I have used other project management systems before, and ClickUp's ease of use, speed, and the amount of detail they provide outperform any other platform I have worked with.

It has improved my workflow with one feature specifically, which is the calendar tool, which gives you an overview of what everyone on the team is working on at a given time. Another benefit I have run into is the AI tool, Brain2, which handles things like emails and meetings for you!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp has a lot of features, sometimes the dashboards can get very crowded, which interferes with the overall UI. On certain dashboards there can almost feel like there are too many options to choose from.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp gives everyone a central location to keep all of their tasks, which in Marketing, solves the problem of, "Where are we on this?" Everyone on my team is able to add their tasks with a start and publication date, which we all filter into a calendar that then shows everyone what content is being published when. This allows us to stay on top of deadlines and ensures we are planning accordingly across all the channels we work in.

I was not working with my current organization before this was implemented, however, since starting, we have increased our ClickUp use and made more complex workflows between team members, which keep things running smoothly! Through the process of setting these workflows up, if we needed help from ClickUp support they were always there for us, and the support articles under the help section are also great!

 ### 2. Intuitive From Day One With Customizations and Powerful Automations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Application is intuitive and easy to use from the day one. Making the onboarding proces easy regardless if you are starting from zero or migrating from another tool. Even with a free version or a low tier plan you have access to many features and you don't feel limited. Custom fields and automations are very useful. You can use automation creator or AI automations. Clickup provides integrations including Google Calendar integration. Performance is good and so far I didn't experience any downtime.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

You can fully customize the colors for all statuses except the DONE status. So, if you rely on a color scheme for your process, DONE often doesn’t match the rest.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for podcast content creation and management. With a deep level of subtasks, task templates, automations, and custom fields, everything stays organized exactly the way I need it, so I can focus on the content instead of the process (ClickUp handles that for me). On top of that, the Dashboards let me monitor the parameters that matter most to me.

 ### 3. Easy and powerful to use. CU fits any workflow.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Compared to Asana, I think, CU is easier to use. It has a learning curve, for sure, but it's not that pronounced. It's easier for freelancers to use as well as PMs. I believe most people aren't using it to its best potential, and while it's good to have descriptions and things like that, sometimes it may take a while for a team to revamp its organization with CU. The good thing about it is that it can do everything you need it to (connect with bunch of apps, write your own docs inside, have tons of views), but it can also do just what you need it for (a few tasks, a few people, etc). I haven't used it with the new AI thing since I thought it was good enough without it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I'm not sure if I have anything that I dislike about it. Everything is pretty straightforward. I'm not a PM by trade, rather the lead of email marketing in a small agency, and I found that CU was not being used to its full potential but that didn't interfere with my job. The freelancer I was working with found it easy to use. It's easy to edit tasks, remove them, make them repeatable. I think what may make CU NOT work or dislikable is not the platform per se but how people use it. I'm not sure how to explain it, but it's like wanting Pinterest-like experience when you're using Facebook. It's 2 completely different platforms...

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CU solves the tracking of a project. It shows when someone checks it off, shows how far along the project is moving, you can write however many, whether silly or not, tasks you want to in there, you can add however many people you want on a task, you can write a long description or a short, self-explanatory one, you can link to pretty much everything in Drive, other tasks, other projects. I love how everything is organized, which is helpful when you deal with many projects, teams, and clients. I find it useful for creative teams because often we deal with a lot of clients simultaneously, and if something is repeatable, you can create a template and save a lot of time. What makes CU a nightmare is the way people set it up. Sometimes people make a "status" what should be a task. For example, "Brainstorm website moodboard" is a task. "Send it to client for review" isn't necessary a task. That could easily be a status "Sent to Client", that way I know at-a-glance what's in the client's hands vs what the team has to finish. If I have a task that say "Send it to client for review", I have to look at the mother task or even at that specific project to figure out 1) what "it" is and 2) what has been done. But again, that's not a CU issue—that's a people issue.

 ### 4. Versatile All-in-One Tool with Room for Simplification

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela R. | Sales Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp is an all-in-one tool. I don't need to keep switching between different tools, which I find time-consuming and frustrating. All the features are available in one dashboard, making it very useful for me and increasing my efficiency and proactivity in future projects. ClickUp has grown a lot and has a lot of features inside the same platform, making it the best tool for us right now.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think some features that ClickUp has, like the status or personalizations, are made for default projects. It would be nice if you could deactivate some things to make every project more personalized to the industry. In my case, in the construction field, it's not always necessary to use all the notes, lists, and added boxes that ClickUp gives. It could be more useful to start with a very simplified version, like a Gantt or Kanban version. Additionally, while the initial setup was easy for me because I'm tech-savvy, I'm not sure it's as easy for all people. Especially older people might find it challenging since they're not into technology.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp gives me a perfect time frame for follow-ups with clients and operations. It's an all-in-one tool, reducing the need to switch platforms, which saves time and frustration. It helps me be more efficient and proactive in managing my projects.

 ### 5. Flexibility and Centralization with ClickUp

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego M. | Assistant Accountant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that it helps me centralize work in one place, allowing me to manage tasks and track projects while collaborating with different teams. I appreciate its flexibility, as I can adapt the spaces and workflows according to my needs. It is valuable to me because I manage multiple projects, reports, and requests in different areas. Additionally, the initial setup was relatively simple, and coming from another project management platform, the transition was smooth.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes the platform can feel complex or overwhelming if there are many tasks or projects for new users. Also, the advanced features require considerable setup to make the most of them. For new users, it can present a very slow learning curve.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me organize and track my deliverables, centralize work in one place, and manage multiple projects and tasks, all with flexibility. It is valuable personally and for collaborating with different teams.

 ### 6. All-in-One, Flexible Project Management That Keeps Everything Centralized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that it combines project management, task tracking, documentation, and team collaboration in one place. I also appreciate how flexible it is: being able to customize workflows, views, dashboards, and automations makes it easy to adapt to different teams and processes. Having everything centralized helps keep projects organized and improves visibility across the work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp is very powerful, it can feel overwhelming at first because of the sheer number of features and customization options. There’s definitely a learning curve, and when I’m managing more complex projects, the interface can sometimes come across as cluttered and harder to navigate.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me solve the challenge of keeping work organized and visible across projects, tasks, and team members. By centralizing task management, project planning, documentation, and communication in a single platform, it reduces the need to switch between multiple tools throughout the day. For me, this translates into better overall organization, simpler tracking of progress and deadlines, stronger accountability across the team, and greater confidence that important information is easy to find and act on when it matters.

 ### 7. ClickUp centralizes everything and eliminates tool fatigue

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jose O. | QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The centralization capability that ClickUp has is great. Before, the team suffered from tool fatigue. We used one app for chatting, another for documenting processes, software for project management, and spreadsheets for tracking time. Now everything is done on a single platform.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Notification settings are very tedious; if you don't configure them properly, they will definitely fill up your inbox.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The big problem it solved for us was the isolation of the teams. Before, the Sales team didn't know what Operations was doing, and Operations had no idea what Promotion was promising to the customer. No one knew at what point in the funnel we were. Now the whole team knows where to look.

 ### 8. Essential for Workflow and Team Coordination

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandra C. | Director Of Marketing And Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp every day for work, and it's basically the most important app for me and my team to keep everything organized. It's super easy to understand, and you can do many, many different things, including finding templates and personalizing everything inside the app. It's really easy to work with coworkers, track the workflow, and see how many tasks are done or open for the day, week, or month. It's also a great planner. Personalization is really important to me as I can adapt it to my job and create my own social media calendar, and workflow tracking is perfect for my team since we are located in different countries. The templates I've used were really, really useful. ClickUp keeps everyone on the same page in team campaigns, and even though the initial setup can be a bit complicated, watching tutorials makes it easy and quick.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it's a little bit difficult to understand how some of the features or options work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to keep everything organized. It's crucial for my team's workflow, allowing us to track progress easily across different countries. The personalized calendars and useful templates are also key features that enhance our planning and task management.

 ### 9. Feature-Rich AI and Automations That Deliver

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I enjoy the many features available including AI and automations, which has really helped our optimization our team's processes. I even created a custom super agent which is managing our incubator deliverables.

I've used 5-6 different project management tools and the UI/UX of ClickUp is the best I've used so far. I love the ability to run our team chats and calls in ClickUp too, without having to use separate tools.

I've also integrated ClickUp with Claude, which is supporting our AI performance.

They have very helpful support and onboarding and the pricing is fair.

And the performance of the tool in general is very strong.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It would be great to be able to make a bit more design customizations to our branding. This is currently on an enterprise plan I believe which we aren't on.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're able to easily manage internal team tasks, and work with external partners. We manage a builder incubator program where builder teams are learning with us for 6 months.

We've created this whole applied learning program and delivery and review system for the program in ClickUp. It's totally amazing what we have bene able to do! We use super agents to replace project managers within it, too.

 ### 10. Effortless Task Management and Email Notifications in ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NIKHIL G. | SEO Specialist, Marketing and Advertising, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I can easily manage the tasks on Clickup and even if I forgot about the pending tasks I get a mail about the task status. If I want to assign task to somebody I can directly add them and they receives the email. I don't have to message them personally about the task.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

If there are multiple Spaces and multiple tasks created in them, it becomes diffcult to find them if you dont know the task name.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using ClickUp, we struggled with scattered tasks, poor integrations and slow tracking, leading to missed deadlines and unclear ownership. Now everything runs in one place with strong integrations, faster performance, built-in AI, and smooth onboarding/support, which has improved visibility and execution. This has cut task management time by ~30%, improved ROI through better pricing efficiency and helped us consistently hit deadlines.

 ### 11. Powerful All-in-One Tool That Rewards the Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp’s flexibility and its all-in-one functionality. It makes it easy to manage tasks, track progress, collaborate with teammates, and keep projects organized in one place. The customizable views and workflows are especially helpful, since they let teams adapt the tool to their specific needs and ways of working.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Performance remains my most consistent frustration: load times slow down noticeably as the workspace grows with more tasks, nested views, and active automations, and the mobile app still lags behind the web experience. On top of that, the sheer density of features creates a steep learning curve that can overwhelm new teammates who join mid-project, and live support on lower-tier plans is often slow and inconsistent when you actually need help.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has effectively replaced what used to be two or three separate tools for us—a project tracker, a docs platform, and a communication layer—and the ROI becomes pretty obvious once you do that math. That’s especially true at the Unlimited tier, where the pricing feels competitive and the value compounds as your team grows. Integrations with Slack, Google Drive, GitHub, and others fit neatly into an existing stack without forcing a full workflow overhaul, and the customizable views and UI make it easier for different team members to work the way they think without stepping on each other.

Performance also tends to improve with good workspace hygiene, like keeping automations lean and views organized, so teams that invest in setup early usually end up with a smoother experience overall. Onboarding takes real effort given the platform’s depth, but ClickUp University and the community docs help close that gap, even if live support on lower-tier plans can fall short.

The addition of ClickUp Brain brings practical AI wins—task summarization, auto-generated subtasks, and workspace-wide answers—that genuinely save time. While it’s still maturing, it already removes enough day-to-day friction that the add-on feels justified for most teams.

 ### 12. Streamlined Project Management with Flexible Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dimakatso M. | Personal Assistant to Finance & Insurance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really appreciate ClickUp's flexibility and the ability to keep everything organized in one place. Instead of switching between multiple tools, I can manage tasks, track project progress, set deadlines, store documents, and collaborate with team members from a single platform. I also appreciate the customizable views and workflows, which allow me to organize work in a way that matches my needs. The platform provides excellent visibility into priorities and project status, making it easier to stay productive and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. I like how easy it is to customize workflows and adapt the platform to different types of projects. Whether managing simple daily tasks or more complex team projects, ClickUp provides the flexibility to organize work effectively. I also like task dependencies, reminders, and project-tracking features, which help keep projects moving forward and ensure deadlines are met. The dashboard and reporting tools provide a clear overview of workload and project status, making it easier to prioritize tasks and stay focused. Overall, ClickUp combines powerful functionality with a user-friendly interface, making it a valuable tool for both individual productivity and collaboration.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main area of improvement is that ClickUp can feel overwhelming at first because it offers so many features and customization options. There is a bit of a learning curve for new users. The only improvement I would suggest is making the onboarding experience a little simpler for new users. Because ClickUp offers so many features, a more guided setup process would help users get comfortable with the platform faster.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes tasks, deadlines, and communication, eliminating the need to use multiple tools. It improves visibility into projects, reduces missed deadlines, and enhances organization. I am more productive managing projects efficiently while collaborating remotely.

 ### 13. Perfect Integration and Easy Task Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** María Verónica R. | FRONTEND TRAINEE, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love being able to integrate various tools with ClickUp because, as a software developer and tester, I usually use different platforms and find it useful to bring work and projects from tools like Figma and Trello. I also like that ClickUp sends me early notifications to keep everything organized and meet tasks. I appreciate that it is easy to understand, create, and manage tasks. The ease of integration and the intuition with which activities can be managed are aspects I really value, allowing me to assign people to projects and set completion times. The initial setup was also very easy for me; I simply logged in and was able to learn how to create a project immediately. I found it super easy and quick to import projects from other platforms and view them in different ways.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I have no complaints about it. So I can't find anything I don't like.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves having all tasks integrated into one platform, which makes it easier not to log into each site separately. It is easy to understand, create, and manage tasks, and receiving advance notifications helps keep everything organized.

 ### 14. Been on Clickup for a while now

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2022

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The new updates make it look more modern and easier to navigate. They have some nice tool connections that I wish I could use if it wasn't for my work restrictions.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

This might be a me thing, but I get lost in my notifications. The notifications tab can be confusing, and I wish I could go directly to the task when clicking a notification instead of a history of the task.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving communication and maintenance problems for my team. It offers an environment where we can keep track of what we think we should change, what we want to change, what we changed and what we canceled changing. We can always go back to check the previous progress done in a sprint. And instead of communicating directly and forgetting a target, it is very easy to just type it as a comment or a description in a ticket.

**Official Response from Shanee Shepardson:**

> Hey, there!

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying a productivity boost with ClickUp!

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all!

Have an amazing and productive day!

 ### 15. The Ultimate Tool for Development Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priscilla W. | Full Stack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp's flexibility and depth. The hierarchical task structure with spaces, folders, lists, tasks, and subtasks mirrors how we organize our backend modules. The multiple views like List and Board are great for different contexts. I appreciate the AI Chats feature, sprint tracking, KPI scoring, and the ability to assign tasks, set due dates, and track priorities all in one tool, which means our dev team doesn't need to juggle multiple platforms. It consolidates project management, communication, and reporting, making it an essential tool for us.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The notification system can be overwhelming with 99+ inbox items making it hard to prioritize truly urgent items. The mobile experience isn't as smooth as the desktop. The learning curve for new team members is steep given the many features. Also, the AI features, while promising, still feel somewhat surface-level for technical development use cases. Better GitHub/GitLab integration for directly linking commits and PRs to tasks would significantly improve our dev workflow.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes our development tasks, making it easier to manage a complex backend rewrite. It helps us organize tasks into sprints, track overdue items, manage priorities, and coordinate across functional teams, preventing chaos in managing over 20 backend modules.

 ### 16. All My Professional Conversations in One Modern, Streamlined Hub

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritika S. | Accounts Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

All my professional, and sometimes personal, tasks are noted here in the calendar. The timeframes in which I’m supposed to work and complete tasks are easy to navigate and follow. Keeping a record and tracking performance is also straightforward. Adding work to another employee’s calendar is similar to adding it to my own, so it feels familiar and easy to do.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The interface is a bit tricky as there are multiple categories and titles in the same screen making it overwhelming to work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking and maintaining a record of my team’s tasks is easy. Tagging the task according to the priority is feasible.
This make everyday's work structures and planned.

 ### 17. Excellent Task Search, Helpful OneDrive Integration, and an Awesome AI Brain

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Farrukh N. | Solution Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Task searching is excellent, and the integration with OneDrive is really helpful. I can search all the files and data stored inside OneDrive as well. The Brain (AI) is awesome.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

1) When I don’t have internet, I can’t create tasks or search for tasks, and I really dislike that. Offline access should be available, at least for some folders and tasks. 2) When I make notes inside a table and copy-paste into Excel, the rows and columns get disturbed. Clickup needs to improve this so tables can be inserted more like Excel, including proper formatting such as colored tables and other table options. 3) Documents should also work more like MS Word, so copying/pasting and note creation—and pasting to other platforms—follows a standard format.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me manage my tasks easily, and all of my tasks are searchable, which makes it simple to find what I need.

 ### 18. Maximum customization for my personal task management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henry P. | Analista de Help Desk, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I highlight most about ClickUp, and the main reason I use it consistently over other market alternatives, is its extreme level of customization. Unlike other more rigid productivity tools, ClickUp adapts to the complexity of my workflows.

For example, for project management, it allows me to create tasks and subtasks where priority is measured in relation to cost. Thanks to its custom fields, I can assign an exact financial value to each item to make better decisions. Additionally, the flexibility to configure reminders, due dates, and the ease of adding or removing data columns allows me to maintain very clean views and have the exact information I need to visualize at any given moment.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Regarding areas for improvement, I find that the storage limit for uploading images and files in the free version is quite restrictive when managing projects with a lot of visual documentation.

On the other hand, it would be an excellent update to incorporate a native text extraction (OCR) function. It would be extremely useful if, when pasting a screenshot or image containing text, the system offers the option to automatically convert it into editable text within the task description or comments. This would save a lot of manual transcription time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the moment, I don't have any issues with corporate products.

 ### 19. Versatile, Real-Time Project Organization—Easy to Use and Free

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the multiple options this product offers. You can create a simple task list for personal organization, or build a more complex logistics plan with main projects, deadlines, assigned people, and even notes on each task and subtask.

It’s also a plus how it combines different platforms by redirecting every link to the page you need, just by copying and pasting the URL into the project or task description. This tool it's super useful when you work with different platforms for the same project.

One thing that helps the most when two or more people use this at the same time, it's that every change it's automatically done. You can work every project on real time.

Another advantage is that you can keep all your completed projects within your main categories, so everything stays organized without losing track of what’s already done.

It's super easy to use and to teach when new members are added to the workflow.

But the thing I like the most it's that all those tools are free. Just have to create your account. It also gives you the option to upgrade paying to unlock more benefits.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It doesn't actually do the work for you.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a very distracted person and ClickUp helps me a lot to manage my task an times. I'm sure that when I learned to use all the potencial from the AI tools, it would help me even more.

 ### 20. Robust and scalable Project Manager tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paula P. | Pre-Press assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The possibility of managing and overseeing several projects at the same time. The feedback this tool provides helps us plan our workload and team tasks. I've tried several similar tools, and find ClickUp one of the most complete and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp's interface has long suffered from visual clutter, and the recent addition of AI agents and features has only compounded the problem. As an Operations Director, I require access to high-level overviews, granular details, and robust insights — but most of my team does not. They regularly flag the overwhelming UI as one of their primary pain points with the platform.

What's missing is meaningful customization: the ability to build role-based views, toggle components (dashboards, views, sidebar, sidebar expansion, notifications, top bar) on or off depending on what each user actually needs. A modular approach to the interface — where AI tools and advanced features can be introduced progressively rather than surfaced all at once — would go a long way toward making ClickUp usable for teams with varying needs and levels of technical comfort.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can efficiently have an overview of what's going on on each and every project at a glance. And also, have up-to-date information on the progress of the projects.
Our team has gained autonomy to do their tasks, and we've all gained transparency about the status of our work.

**Official Response from Jessica Surita:**

> Hey Paula! Thanks so much for the review. We really appreciate the feedback! 🙌

We also love hearing ideas for improvements from our users & we'd love for you to share your awesome suggestions on our feedback boards! Our Product team reviews every post and that's truly the best way for your ideas to be considered!🌟

 ### 21. ClickUp’s Customization Makes It a Powerful Personal Assistant

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murat K. | Digital Marketing Consultant, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’ve been actively using ClickUp for about 5–6 years now. I keep all my workflows and client information here. My favourite feature is how customisable it is. You can customise tasks, lists and many other areas. With the formula feature, you can even turn it into an accounting programme. It really does act as my personal assistant at the moment.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It’s using up a lot of credit, especially since the AI integration. We need to cut that down a bit :)

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves my organisational problems. That’s my biggest issue. I work as a freelancer and have a lot of clients. I’m 42, so my memory isn’t as sharp as it used to be :) I immediately log any work that comes in via WhatsApp into ClickUp and can easily track the entire process through the task details.

 ### 22. 5 years of daily use to manage workflow of entire team, AI features add a layer of ease

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Fund-Raising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2025

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It's been 5 years since I started using ClickUp to manage the workflow of my 9-person team, and in addition to making it so easy to visualise, assign and track multiple projects over extended periods of time, the new AI features have added extra layers of convenience.

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't raring to use the new AI features mostly because I didn't think I would need them (the tool has always been perfectly intuitive and comfortable to use) but a colleague convinced me. I have to admit that on days that I'm especially tired or have a heavy workload, getting a quick summary of the status of the tasks at one glance IS useful. Not to mention the search/find feature, given I manage pretty extensive workloads.

All in all, I believe the AI features are a neat addition, but like I've said before, the tool is perfectly set up to be used even without them.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Not sure if there is a tutorial already but one for the all of the AI feature use-cases would be great

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing what could be a very chaotic workflow given the team is fairly and our day-to-day operations are rarely the same

 ### 23. The Ultimate All-in-One Integrative Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp to be my ultimate partner in managing company client operations, especially with the ability to capture client information and manage multiple matters linked to clients directly. The integration of ClickUp with CRM, project management, time tracking, and billing is fantastic. It's intuitive and makes me more productive, allowing me to keep track of what needs to be done. I particularly enjoy the vast amount of integrations into email, storage drives, and AI tools like Claude. Among its features, I value time tracking due to my billing structure, custom fields, and lists that allow customized data views, and the convenience of emailing tasks and using the comments section directly within ClickUp. These features, along with automatic progress tracking and automation, enhance my productivity significantly. Returning to ClickUp after trying other tools feels like coming back home, and its intuitive nature made setup quite easy for me.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I would love to have my invoicing system inside ClickUp and not have to use an external system. I'm currently using Zoho Books and the transfer of hours per task or project to an invoice is completely manual and takes up a lot of productivity time. A more intuitive 'what is important right now' inbox rather than the current generic one. Some guidance on how Brain actually works and its capabilities as sometimes it seems great and other times it's just not even in the picture.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage multifaceted client accounts, capturing client info, integrating CRM, project management, and time tracking. It centralizes tasks, emails, and documents, reducing app clutter, boosting productivity, and leveraging AI for intuitive management.

 ### 24. All-in-One, Highly Customizable Workspace That Replaced My App-Switching

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam S. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The best part is ClickUp Brain: it pulls answers directly from our linked docs without us having to search manually.I no longer have to jump between other applications as they integrated chat and docs right within my project

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The mobile version feels more limited and harder to navigate than the desktop version. Also, the notification system is very noisy: I get an email and an in-app notification for every minor change, which has led to notification fatigue. What you could improve is sending notification summaries once in a while, rather than lots of separate notifications.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has replaced our status update meetings. Now I can just check my custom dashboard to see real-time progress. The Workload view, in particular, helps me spot when one designer has 10 tasks while another has 2, so I can rebalance work right away and help prevent burnout.

 ### 25. Everything centralized, excellent chat, and super smooth Kanban view

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolás R. | Product Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Centralizing everything in one place is great, in these times of multi-tasking it makes it super easy for me to have everything at hand, the best part is the chat. It allows me to always stay up to date with the team and the Kanban view is wonderful for its fluidity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The system is so comprehensive that the learning curve is often costly in terms of time. But once you get used to it and find your favorite views, that's it. You have the world at your feet!

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had always had all the information fragmented, a total mess adding to the physical paperwork. Now with the confidence of information security and backup, we all store 100% of the documentation and it helps us have everything at hand.

 ### 26. Organization by projects and customizable tasks for a clearer team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dario Y. | Dev, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It is very acceptable the way spaces and folders can be managed; everything can be organized by projects and then complemented with customizable fields in each task. This helps to make everything very clear to the team and easy to search.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Time control with time tracking is sometimes not very accurate or somewhat inconvenient. Occasionally, the team forgets to stop the timer and it keeps running unnecessarily, causing errors in the report.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a lot of disorder with the documentation, ClickUp helped us standardize processes and organize the scattered information mess. All of this optimized delivery times and effective presentations.

 ### 27. Organization Powerhouse with Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lilitha S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp constantly helps me stay organized and keeps me up to date with all my projects. I really appreciate those pop-up notifications because they remind me of tasks, especially when I'm working on a lot of projects. It ensures I'm always on my toes and can reach my deadlines, often even before time. I also find it easy to set up, as it was very straightforward to download and link with my email on my devices. The transition from Monday was smooth because ClickUp not only keeps projects organized but also helps with scheduling and provides reminders that work very well for us.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the interface, especially for people who are beginners, could be more lenient and easier to understand because it's a bit clustered. It took me a week to fully understand how to use ClickUp. A friendlier, easier interface would be helpful.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me stay organized, keep all my projects updated, and meet deadlines, often even ahead of time. It sends helpful reminders, ensuring I'm always on track with my tasks.

 ### 28. ClickUp’s Custom Templates, Integrations, and Support Make Project Management Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyrel R. | Owner/Photographer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp allows me not only to see and control every aspect of every project I’m handling, but also to customize how I do it. Being able to build custom templates that I can use as a foundation for similar projects—and then adjust as needed for each new one—lets me take on almost any project, regardless of the goals or even the industry. Depending on the intended outcome, I can set things up so I have exactly what I need, when I need it, without always starting from zero.

If I need to integrate other programs’ abilities—such as a CRM, a third-party communication platform, or even simple document storage and sharing (especially when clients have their own preferred tools)—I can do that without having to relearn the entire process. I’ve built some pretty extensive workspaces for different clients, and I’ve genuinely never had performance issues within the program. And because workspaces exist outside a single workstation, I don’t have to worry about losing anything important if there’s a hardware problem.

ClickUp’s pricing structure feels quite fair, even though there are a few features I’d like to have at lower tiers. The ability to create wikis, SOPs, and documents is amazing; however, I’d also like the option to lock those so other users can’t change them at the lower pricing tiers. Still, I believe the usefulness of what you get is unmatched. I ran several of my own businesses on the free tier for years before needing to upgrade.

Customer service is also, in my opinion, unmatched. I’ve always been able to get in touch with someone for help, and even simple, non-urgent questions have been handled quickly and professionally.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only real complaint I have ever had has been based around features locked behind the pricing tiers. Most of the time this is a per project issue, since different projects need different options.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps me organized and even accountable to myself, both professionally and personally. I even have a workspace set up for my family that we use to keep our household in order. There really is no limit to what you can use ClickUp for, and the more they expand the features, the less I have to deal with software spread. Internal chat, non-user portals and communications, and agents that help with everyday tasks are the kinds of additions that keep improving ClickUp’s usefulness with every update.

 ### 29. Customizable, Feature-Rich, but Learning Curve Present

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Farrukh A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how ClickUp organizes priorities, tracks backlogs, collaborates across teams, and maintains documentation all in one place. It provides a single source of truth for all our work, making task tracking, priority management, and team collaboration easy. I like its customizable and flexible nature, with boards, task management, documentation, and automation features that simplify managing complex projects while keeping the team aligned. The integration with Slack for notifications and Github for linking development work with tasks keeps everything in sync. The initial setup was straightforward, and we quickly got our team up and running. I appreciate the flexibility ClickUp offers in tailoring the workspace to our needs.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp is very feature-rich, it can sometimes feel overwhelming, and performance can slow down on large workspaces. The interface also has a learning curve for new users, especially when setting up advanced workflows. In larger workspaces with thousands of tasks, dashboards, and automation, we've occasionally noticed slower page loads and search performance, so further optimization for large scale teams would make the experience even better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp organizes priorities, tracks backlogs, and enables team collaboration and documentation in one place. It provides a single source of truth, improves visibility into project progress, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.

 ### 30. Powerful All-in-One, with Automation and AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lais M. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the ease of having multiple tools within a single application, such as the tool where I can record my screen to quickly explain something, the chat tool, the document tool, and the AI assistant for video calls. ClickUp streamlines our daily work, being a robust and reliable tool. It makes the project management process faster, allowing me to spend more time focusing on better serving clients and projects. The interface is very intuitive and it was simple to bring everything here, making the use smooth without major difficulties.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I use some automations, flow, which sends 1 email when the client makes 1 activity request. And often this fails, I need to keep reconnecting the email very frequently and this ends up being disruptive because I think the emails are being sent, then I go to check, they weren't, because I need to reauthorize the email. I believe this process can be improved.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is a unique platform where I manage tasks, chat, and documents for clients and projects. It streamlines work with automations and artificial intelligence, making me more efficient.

 ### 31. Indispensible Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danny P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

They are constantly updating the app to improve features and add new ones.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Certain actions can be slower than I would like. For example, creating a new task from a template. It takes about 3 seconds to create the task before I can open it. It should be faster, and it should open up after it's created. Also dragging and dropping tasks around to nest and unnest them can be slow sometimes, and sometimes cause the program to freeze, so that I have to restart it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visibility of project status to myself and others. I can quickly and clearly see the orders I have ready to ship, and plan ahead with more accuracy.

 ### 32. Intuitive UI and Customizable Solutions for Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harihar V. | Senior Manager - Business Process Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like ClickUp's intuitive UI, specifically its very structured and customizable way of handling projects. It's great with its AI features and multiple views like board views, calendar views, and list views, which make managing multiple projects smoother and ensure nothing slips through the cracks. The ability to link with Outlook or Google accounts is fantastic, handling meeting minutes, keynotes, and task assignments efficiently, letting me focus on the critical parts. It simplifies a lot of manual work and is pretty cool overall. The user experience is very good and intuitive, not overwhelming, making it accessible to both beginners and experts. Also, the setup was very easy, allowing us to roll with the basics without needing much handling.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

In early days of using this tool. Nothing specific here.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp streamlines project management with its structured and customizable approach, ensuring no tasks are overlooked. Its integration with Outlook and Google helps manage meeting notes, reducing manual effort. The multiple views and AI features enhance collaboration and make life easier.

 ### 33. Complexities Stall Adoption, AI Limitations Frustrating

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lindiwe H. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp groups all of the tasks in one place, so we don't have to look for them in threads of Slack messages. It helps with knowing who is working on what, which tasks are active, and which ones are done. I also like that it has the capabilities of AI and automation, even though there's an additional cost to access those features.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is very difficult to understand and has too many functionalities, making adoption slow even with training and weekly catch-ups. The complex setup didn't make it any easier. The removal of AI after a trial period means I can't use ClickUp AI to guide me through functionalities, and I often need to look up external resources so they can tell me how I can use ClickUp. Furthermore, ClickUp's operation in specific time zones creates a lack of accessible tech support during my business hours in South Africa, causing further delays.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp groups all tasks in one place, eliminating the need to search through Slack messages. It helps in knowing who is working on what and tracking active and completed tasks.

 ### 34. Centralized Task Management with ClickUp, But UI Can Be Overwhelming

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dwaipayan S. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp because it keeps work organized in one place, making everything more smooth, clear, and easy to manage. I find the task management feature particularly useful for creating tasks, assigning work, setting deadlines, and tracking progress easily. The AI Agent is great because it saves time by summarizing updates, helping with writing, and answering project-related questions. I also appreciate the docs management feature, which is useful for storing notes, requirements, and important information with the team. Additionally, the initial setup of ClickUp was very easy and smooth.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some things in ClickUp could be improved for me. Sometimes the interface feels a little bit heavy, especially when there are many tasks, views, and options. It can take time to find the right feature or settings. Also, notifications can become too many, so it is easy to miss important updates. The AI Agent is useful, but sometimes it can give more general answers and needs better project context.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps keep tasks, updates, and documents organized in one place, reducing tool switching. It simplifies task assignment, deadline setting, and progress tracking. The AI Agent saves time by summarizing updates and assisting with writing, while Docs management stores team notes and requirements effectively.

 ### 35. Customizable Dashboards and Task Organization That Keep Our Team on Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rudy B. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The organization (by customization) of dashboards for my team members along with tag organization, due dates, assignees, and everything else a task lets you do

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

When I mislick on my dashboard and accidentally hit the space, folder, or something else when I'm really just trying to click my task. It then takes me to a different page then I want to be on and can be annoying. Very minor detail though

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization for tasks. This allows all my team members to check due dates, even for tasks they're not assigned to. It gives everyone a good idea of when things absolutely need to be done, compared to when things cna wait a day or two.

 ### 36. Streamlined Task Management, Impressive Efficiency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deji O. | Team Lead, Retail, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I enjoy using ClickUp because it helps to organize a lot of scattered tasks and consolidate them into one place. Before ClickUp, tasks were all over the place, which made it easy to miss actions, but now everything is streamlined. What I love most is how I can quickly create tasks, assign them to people, and set deadlines either during my meetings or right after. There's no need to follow up as the assigned user becomes responsible. The initial setup was easy, and the onboarding support team did a good job getting us started. I also appreciate how ClickUp integrates with our internal tools like Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and even works with a webhook to create tasks from our solutions.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Only downside is that the system could hang once in a while during meetings and you need to do some refresh or data to sync.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize scattered tasks in one place and avoid missing actions, especially after meetings. It's easy to create and assign tasks with deadlines, making the team responsible.

 ### 37. Smooth, User-Friendly ClickUp with Powerful Automation and Helpful AI Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Lots of options to explore. I like that I can connect it to Zapier for automation, and it also has internal automation. The task UI is user-friendly, and I’ve never experienced bad performance like the software being slow or lagging; it always works smoothly. For me, the plan is affordable, so I’ll be subscribing soon. Since I’m a VA, Clickup is very useful to me. I’ve asked the AI support a lot of questions before, and it was able to answer all of them, so I don’t need to reach out to human support.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I can’t do much with custom fields on the Free plan, so I can’t really explore that part of it yet. That said, it’s fine for now, since I’ll likely need some of the other paid features soon anyway.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now, main is Task management. As VA I have lots of stuff on my plate and using a platform like clickup really helps me manage everything

 ### 38. A great tool if security will allow you to integrate it in!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy G. | Data Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 24, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has added several genuinely helpful features over time, including the ChatGPT integration, which is a strong improvement. That said, the free plan has become noticeably more limited, especially for smaller teams with fewer than five people. Features that users became accustomed to over the years, such as creating a certain volume of tasks or accessing specific reports, now seem to be gradually shifting behind paid tiers. Given that ClickUp was long promoted as “forever free,” this change can feel frustrating and may be a drawback for loyal users.

On the positive side, the platform performs very well. The dashboard is fast, and I have not experienced any downtime so far. I also found the email integration especially useful, as it allows me to turn emails directly into tasks. Support has also been reliable whenever I have run into issues. Although the first response usually comes from a bot, the team has consistently followed up within 24 hours, which gives me confidence that my concerns are being received and addressed.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Over time, the interface has become increasingly busy, which makes it harder for users to notice or adopt new features. Rather than adding more prompts or visual elements directly into the main task view, they could improve feature awareness through more intentional release communications, such as regular email updates or in-app summaries. Product discovery should feel natural and unobtrusive, helping users find useful tools without making the core workspace feel overcrowded.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting projects mapped out, tasks under control and creating timelines for expected finish lines.

**Official Response from Shanee Shepardson:**

> Hey, Andy!

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying a productivity boost with ClickUp!

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all!

Have an amazing and productive day!

 ### 39. Comprehensive Tool with Some Performance Trade-offs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isibe M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how ClickUp combines tasks, calendars, team chat, and documents into a single dashboard, eliminating the need to jump between multiple tools. The platform helps me with multitasking efficiently. I find the Email-to-Task Integration feature particularly valuable because it turns important emails into tasks with due dates, ensuring nothing gets lost in the inbox. The Multi-View Dashboards allow me to plan my week effectively with a calendar view or focus on urgent priorities in a clean list. Besides, the built-in docs are great for keeping templates and guides right next to my daily tasks. The initial setup was very easy and stressless, which I appreciated. Moreover, I value the integration with Google Workspace, Outlook, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Slack, which sync seamlessly with ClickUp. This makes managing tasks and collaborations much more straightforward.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Clunky Mobile App: The mobile version feels slow and cramped compared to the desktop version, making it harder to manage tasks or view calendars on the go. Occasional Sluggishness: Because the app handles so much data, it can sometimes lag, load slowly, or hog computer memory when clicking between complex dashboards. Overwhelming Interface: There are so many buttons and settings that it is incredibly easy for a beginner to feel overwhelmed by feature overload during the initial setup. Paywalled Advanced Features: Some of the best automation tools and advanced features are locked behind the most expensive pricing tiers, which can be frustrating for smaller businesses.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp replaces multiple tools by combining tasks, calendars, chat, and documents in one dashboard. Its Email-to-Task feature keeps my inbox organized, and multi-view dashboards help plan and prioritize tasks. Built-in docs keep templates handy, making it easier to manage tasks.

 ### 40. best team management tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bilal R. | SDE 2, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Clickup’s recent AI upgrades have been a massive timesaver for our workflow, especially when it comes to summarizing long task threads and drafting routine content. The core task management is still excellent, making it incredibly easy to assign and track deliverables across the team. I also really appreciate how flexible the dashboards are, they provide a great high-level view of our overall project health and team velocity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Clickup does a ton, but honestly, it can still feel incredibly overwhelming when you're first starting out. There are just so many menus, toggles, and customization settings that it’s easy to get lost. Also, trying to get actual support is a little pain.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the main and important problem that clickup solved was tassk management and business chatting .The real time chatting feature helps connecting with team quickly and it has good ui and easy to use we started getting hang of it very quickly.

 ### 41. Still the backbone of how we run operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The AI notes have been the standout addition for me. Meeting notes and summaries get captured and turned into actionable items automatically, which saves real time when you're coordinating across a remote team and can't manually write up every sync. Pairing that with the custom fields and intake forms I already relied on means more of my workflow now lives in one place instead of scattered across separate tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

A hard, non-resettable cap on adding subtasks across multiple lists tripped us up mid-sprint-we had no warning we were approaching it, and the only fix was upgrading the whole workspace. Usage limits like this should be visible with a counter or warning well before you hit the wall, not discovered the moment a routine action stops working.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me manage multiple projects and team members across different time zones, all in one place. It solves the problem of scattered communication and disjointed workflows by keeping everything—from tasks to deadlines and docs—centralized and easy to track. This means I spend less time chasing updates and more time focusing on high-impact work, ultimately boosting my productivity and helping my team stay aligned.

 ### 42. Easy to Learn, Fast, and Packed with Integrations - Great Value in ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin H. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how easy it is to pick up. When I was tasked with trying out the platform, I found it very easy to learn and set up a workflow that would work for our team. It is an all-in-one tool that does so much and more. For any agency looking to consolidate tools, ClickUp can help reduce cross-platform bloat and mess.

The tool also benefits from several platform integrations, allowing you to pull data from other sources and use the built-in search to find chat history, files, etc., from your other tools.

The platform is very responsive and fast, and you can quickly set up new jobs, tasks and subtasks without too much hassle.

The pricing is quite fair, too. You are getting a lot for the subscription fee you pay, depending on the level you choose. We use some of the automation features and AI tools, and so far, have not hit any of our limits.

During our onboarding, we were supported thoroughly by the team at ClickUp, and they continue to send helpful tips, webinars, and suggestions, to help us get the most out of ClickUp.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There have been a few times when I've tried to set something up and hit a wall. But these are quite rare. One example was when I tried to build a holiday tracking board. I wanted to allocate a set number of days to each member of staff and use some sort of formula to subtract the holidays they had booked through ClickUp, allowing them to easily see how many days they had left. I hit a wall with this and gave up. It seemed that formulas or any other type of feature wouldn't fit this scenario. Other than that, there hasn't really been much else that I can report. And in all fairness, I tried setting up the holiday board a while ago, so it may be that what I was trying before is now available. ClickUp are great at adding new and improved features, as well as requesting features.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp, we used Trello boards to track work. Trello was no good for capacity planning, so we started looking at alternatives that could provide a really good solution to track capacity and see everything easily all in one place. ClickUp solved everything we needed. It was capable of achieving everything we had running in Trello, but was also able to do so much more including time tracking and the capacity tracking we were looking for. Since taking on ClickUp, we have found that it is capable of so many things we hadn't even planned on using it for.

 ### 43. Solid all in one tool with useful AI features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David B. | Product manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how everything is in one place and how much you can customize it. I also love the AI features, especially the Notetaker, i use it a lot for turning quick notes or meeting summaries into actual task without much effort. It feels like the platform bends to fit my workflow instead of making me adapt to it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It can feel overwhelming at first with so many features, and notifications get noisy if you don’t tune them. The app also slows sometimes when the workspace gets big. Though, still not a dealbreaker.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the major headaches of scattered information and jumping between too many tools. Now everything is in one workspace. We have bettered visibility, fewer missed tasks, faster reporting with time tracking and smoother collaboration using docs, whiteboards, and the AI Notetaker.

 ### 44. ClickUp is a tool that allows you to replace almost all the others

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo R. | Gerente operacional, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp helps a lot in visualizing and organizing processes, making it clear at which stage each one is. Communication with the team becomes much more effective, and time management becomes more precise. Overall, it is a complete tool. Integration with other services is something that helps us a lot in our day-to-day.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Perhaps if more resources and autonomy could be implemented for guest users, in addition to the usage limits of AI and Superagents, it would be of great value. The pricing could also be reviewed, as it becomes somewhat costly for a small business. The support could also be better improved, especially for users who speak Brazilian Portuguese. The performance on more modest machines could also be enhanced.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrations with other Artificial Intelligence services.

 ### 45. Feature-Rich, Customizable ClickUp That Saves Hours with Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa H. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how feature-rich ClickUp is. There’s definitely a steep learning curve, but once you understand the platform, you can use it to do pretty much anything. I also really appreciate how customizable the experience is, especially with options like custom fields. Information used to be fragmented before. Having custom fields keeps thing tidy and details easy to find. Automation is another feature I enjoy. It cuts out lots of busy work I'd normally be doing day to day. I use it heavily to fill in custom fields when people submit a project request form. Rather than having to create tasks by hand (as I was before), this saves me hours

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My top complaints (in no particular order) are as follows:
1. Platform is slow (pages take up to 5 seconds to load)
2. UI is buggy
3. ClickUp is missing important features (subfolders, nested conditional questions in forms)
4. Platform is hard/takes a long time to learn (my team consistently struggles to find tasks)
5. Automation system is too simple/doesn't offer enough tools (I would love if there was an "or" option to triggers. Also, actions are very limited--I would like to see more options like "remove task from list")
6. Not a fan of the strong push for AI

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tasks used to get dropped or forgotten, and communication was fragmented. Clickup has helped bring more transparency to our work. Now tasks aren’t getting missed, it’s easier to find the information we need, and communication is kept in one place. Our clients can also see us making progress on tasks, which helps them feel more satisfied.

 ### 46. Effortlessly Organizes My Small Business Tasks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debbie G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to organize my day, and it really helps me stretch my day effectively. I appreciate having my to-do list all in the ClickUp app rather than on my phone. This way, I can set times and days for my tasks and manage them efficiently. I find it particularly valuable for managing a long list of tasks for my small business. The app makes it easy to track the completion of tasks, as I can mark them off as done. The setup was very easy; I just downloaded it on my iPad, and it was all very simple.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't like the desktop app as much as I like the app on my iPad. I feel that the desktop app doesn't always update the information on my iPad in real-time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me organize my day by managing my to-do list with set times and dates, instead of using my phone. This is really helpful for handling tasks in my small business.

 ### 47. ClickUp Brings Order to Agency Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenira V. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the project management setup as part of an agency. Design can be so messy and all over the place but ClickUp helps to make it all make sense in the end, especially working with many team members.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I did not like that some of the features ended up being cut from the unlimited plan, but i understand. We then decided to move to the business plan in which case has been a phenomenal jump for us. I do not really use the inbox feature and feel this might give me anxiety when i see 41 messages unread. I wish i could understand how to use ClickUp as a marketing calendar but it is so confusing.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem is how to go from the discovery with a client all the way to the end once the deliverable is complete. I must say since starting using ClickUp, i have been more level-headed. For me it is far more superior than monday.com and zoho combined. It is so quick and responsive and is very aesthetically pleasing. This matters a lot to our workflow as designers primarily. We love that clickup helps us understand timelines, although one thing would be to make the different items in the GANTT chart more colour coded. ClickUp the way ZenPilot recommends to set up has been a lifesaver. You can set clickup up anyway you like but i think ZenPilot really helped us understand the best workflow for an agency.

 ### 48. Customizable Yet Complex Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul C. | Head of Sales and marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the amount of things we can do with ClickUp, especially the custom fields and custom columns. They help us stay organized in our projects by allowing us to put everything in place and track specific fields that are important for each project. This feature makes it easy to update our columns and stay organized in a way that's individualized for our specific project needs.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I would say it is sometimes clunky. So maybe because of the amount of stuff that it can do. Feel that it can be clunky at times. Is the experience just going in and out of different tabs or different projects or where things are, definitely maybe a learning curve for many.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management to keep us organized and visualize our projects so everyone knows their tasks and progress. It helps assign tasks and provides time and budget estimates.

 ### 49. Pleasant design and many options: from simple lists to advanced sprints

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erick David F. | Desarrollador de aplicaciones para móviles, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It has a pleasant and familiar design compared to other proposals. I see many options to be able to create different things depending on the needs, ranging from lists for the simplest tasks to advanced sprints for large projects. It feels fluid most of the time.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Having so many things on screen can be a bit overwhelming, it would be nice to be able to turn off sections that won't be used for certain spaces.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management is always complex, and although we can manage them on simple spreadsheets, dedicated software for these tasks is much better. At least for our small company, Excel has been useful, but we cannot continue with this if we want to extract detailed information on times, priorities, team, etc. Additionally, we miss out on integrations with our everyday apps.

 ### 50. ClickUp’s All-in-One Platform with Powerful Customisation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prakriti M. | Talent Acquisition Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I think the biggest standout is ClickUp’s all-in-one approach. Rather than juggling separate tools for tasks, documents, goals, time tracking, and reporting, it brings everything together in a single platform. Another major strength is its customisation: we can tailor workflows, statuses, views (List, Board, Gantt, Calendar), and fields to fit almost any team, whether it’s product, marketing, or operations. It adapts to how you work instead of forcing you into a fixed structure.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My biggest complaint is the slow loading times when I’m working with large projects or a lot of tasks, and the occasional lag in dashboards or more complex views. That said, it has improved over time. I also want to add that using advanced features (automation limits, AI, exports) requires upgrades, and costs can increase as a team scales. So while it starts out cheap, it can become expensive depending on how much you use it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp primarily solves the problem of fragmented, inefficient work environments where tasks, communication, and information are scattered across multiple tools, making it hard for teams to stay aligned and productive. By bringing tasks, documents, communication, goals, and reporting into a single platform, it reduces the need to constantly switch between applications, which helps cut down on confusion and saves time. It also tackles the lack of visibility many teams face by offering real-time tracking, clear ownership, and structured workflows, so everyone understands what they’re responsible for and when it’s due. In addition, ClickUp reduces manual effort through automation and standardised processes, allowing teams to spend more time on meaningful work instead of coordination overhead.
