## ClickUp Reviews
 ### 1. ClickUp Centralizes Complex Academic Workflows into One Powerful Hub

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio Carlos L. | Salzburg Global Fellow, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The primary advantage of ClickUp resides in its capacity to centralize complex academic requirements and personal planning within a unified ecosystem.,Directing a scientific-academic think tank, supervising postgraduate research, and managing scientific dissemination projects demands a high-precision organizational architecture. The platform facilitates the systematic structuring of diverse initiatives, ranging from the development of theoretical frameworks concerning strategic autonomy and hedging to the execution of specialized consultancy modules and the editorial workflows of high-impact publications. This versatility translates dense analytical operations into agile, integrated processes, effectively optimizing both institutional and individual productivity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The principal limitation of the platform resides in its occasional structural hyper-complexity, which frequently exceeds the necessary parameters for standard project management. While a highly customizable architecture is advantageous for multifaceted operations, it can introduce unnecessary friction and cognitive load into otherwise straightforward workflows, requiring a steep learning curve for basic deployment. Furthermore, the automated meeting note-taking functionality exhibits an overly intrusive operational footprint. A more passive and seamless integration—comparable to the unobtrusive, background transcription models employed by specialized applications such as Granola—would be substantially more effective. Such an adjustment would mitigate disruptions during critical institutional and academic engagements, allowing for a more fluid and less mediated deliberative process.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A critical advantage is the platform's seamless integration with Google Workspace. Embedding Google Drive files directly into task flows ensures that research manuscripts, datasets, and administrative documents remain contextually anchored to their respective projects. Furthermore, bidirectional synchronization with Google Calendar and the capacity to convert Gmail correspondence into actionable items effectively consolidate scheduling and external communications. This interoperability eliminates redundant administrative effort, maintaining a highly efficient, centralized workflow essential for rigorous academic and editorial management.

 ### 2. Keeps Client Details Organized—AI Makes It Even Easier

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor W. | Creative Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love being able to see so much information about everything going on with each of the clients we work with. It helps me stay organized and keep track of details, even when I have a million things going on.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

So far, I honestly don’t see any downsides. I’m still discovering new ways it can make my life easier. Adding AI has helped turn some areas I might not have wanted to spend time figuring out into things I actually like.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In marketing and PR, there are often many moving parts to manage before a project is truly finished. Before using ClickUp, it was difficult to keep up with emails, comments, meeting notes, and tasks, and deadlines could easily get lost in the mix. Now we can collect all relevant data and information in one place, which makes it much easier to stay organized. It saves time because we’re no longer searching through everything separately, and saving time is especially important in this industry.

 ### 3. ClickUp’s Free Tier Makes Team Project Management Smooth and Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** PARADELA, J. | Junior Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The best thing I’ve found about ClickUp over the past year is how much it helps with project management for our team. I can easily update tasks and assign team members to the things they need to do, which keeps everything organized and clear. And the fact that I can do this without a subscription, using only the free tier, is a big plus.Integration of outside links, Good performance, onboardinfg thhe app is easy as there is an instruction for basic things. There is also a built in ai to help in organizing and monitoring. The interface is smooth and user friendly

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The downside of using clickup is although the free tier/membersgip have a lot of freebies during our usage , we hit a limit on creating task. Well thats understable as its just a free membership

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us solve project management and assigning of things to everyone in our team. It helps a lot this year as we have a lot of interns and it helps organizing things without repeating everything and every instructions words by words

 ### 4. Great Tool for Organizing Tasks and Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sumisha J. | Senior Software Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is how it combines task management, documentation, goal tracking, and team collaboration in a single platform. The customizable workflows, along with the range of project views, make it easy to organize work, stay aligned with the team, and keep projects moving forward while staying on track.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I dislike about ClickUp is that it can sometimes feel slow, especially when we’re working on larger projects with lots of tasks and subtasks. On top of that, because there are so many features and customization options, our team needed some time to get comfortable with the platform, figure out what to use, and start working with it efficiently.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUP helps us keep all our projects, tasks, deadlines, and team discussions in one place, so we don’t have to constantly switch between multiple tools. As a result, we have better visibility across the team, fewer missed tasks, and a much easier time tracking project progress while staying on top of deadlines.

 ### 5. Keeps Operations in One Place with Dashboards, Automations, and Super Agents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mette C. | Meta Ads Growth Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’ve tried different systems over the years, but I keep coming back to ClickUp. Since last year, it’s been the only system I use for operations - managing clients, project delivery, and everything in between. I love Dashboards; they’re probably my most-used feature for running the business and supporting my clients from onboarding through off-boarding. Automation also helps me cut down on manual work and makes admin tasks so much easier, especially since I can keep everything in one place. I was genuinely pleasantly surprised when Super Agents was introduced, now they create meetings in my calendar and make my day-to-day easier with daily and weekly reminders.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

As a solopreneur, I haven’t run into any glitches or bad experiences so far. However, as I’m scaling and taking on larger projects, the system’s response time has been issued.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I really like the clean structure and seamless onboarding, my clients love it. The dashboards are especially helpful for understanding what I’m dealing with across sales, marketing, and more. Before this, I had tons of sticky notes, Google Docs I couldn’t remember where I’d saved them, and I was doing everything manually. Being able to connect Zapier to the lead process from advertising has also been a huge benefit for both me and my clients.

 ### 6. Centralized inbox and notifications that clear the noise in seconds

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esteban S. | QA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like the most is the inbox and the centralization of notifications. Instead of going crazy checking Slack, emails, and different boards to see what has changed, ClickUp efficiently clears the noise, allowing me to see updates grouped by Date or by Project. If I receive a notification that I can't attend to at the moment, I "Snooze" it so it reappears later. I clear my inbox in seconds by marking as Read what is only informational, leaving only what requires my direct action.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's excellent to want to have many features, but I feel that this is what sometimes makes the platform slow, in addition to also slowing down the learning curve. But after you get the hang of it, everything goes great.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's amazing how it helped me resolve the chaos of calculating the actual capacity of the team and measuring its performance each time. Before, planning was guessing or working on the fly, now you can truly plan.

 ### 7. All-in-One ClickUp Workspace That Boosts Organization and Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mostafa A. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that it brings project management, documentation, and task tracking into a single workspace. I use it to organize development tasks, plan features, track progress, and store project information without relying on multiple tools. The flexibility to customize workflows and views helps me manage projects in a way that fits my needs, while the centralized structure improves organization and productivity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main downside is that the large number of features and customization options can make the platform feel overwhelming at first. It takes some time to learn how everything works and to build an efficient workflow. In larger workspaces, certain pages can also feel slower than expected.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using ClickUp, managing tasks, project plans, and documentation across different tools made it harder to stay organized and maintain visibility over project progress. ClickUp solved this by providing a centralized platform where I can manage tasks, document requirements, track progress, and keep project information in one place. This reduces context switching, improves organization, and helps ensure important work is completed on time.

 ### 8. Keeping Projects, Documentation, and Teams Aligned

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hrithik V. | Software Engineer - Trading Systems, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp centralizes project tracking, documentation, and team communication in one place. It makes it easy to see priorities and progress across projects. Features like task comments, custom workflows and integrations with Slack and GitHub help keep work and communication connected. Overall, it improves performance and reduces the need to switch between multiple project management tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main downside is that the large number of features and customization options can make the platform feel complex at times. New users might need some onboarding to become comfortable with the workflow, and certain pages can occasionally feel slower than expected when managing larger projects.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps address the challenge of tracking work across multiple projects and teams. It provides a centralized platform for managing tasks, documenting requirements, tracking progress, and assigning ownership. This improves visibility into project status, reduces context switching, and helps ensure work is prioritized appropriately and completed more efficiently.

 ### 9. ClickUp Keeps All My Projects Organized in One Place

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hridhaan . | student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I first discovered ClickUp through a YouTube ad and decided to try it because I needed a better way to organize my academic and personal projects. What I like most is that it brings tasks, deadlines, documents, and progress tracking into one place. As an IB student, I use it to manage assignments, research projects, exam preparation, and extracurricular activities.
The UI/UX is clean and intuitive, making it easy to organize tasks and switch between different project views. I also appreciate the integrations and flexibility available, which help keep information organized and accessible. In terms of performance, the platform has been reliable and responsive during everyday use.
One thing that stands out is how much functionality is available on the free plan. As a student, being able to access powerful project management features without paying has provided significant value. When I needed help understanding certain features, I found the documentation and support resources helpful.
Overall, ClickUp has helped me stay organized, manage deadlines more effectively, and keep track of long-term projects in a single place. It has improved my productivity and made it easier to balance academic responsibilities with extracurricular commitments.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest drawback for me is the learning curve. Because ClickUp offers so many features, views, and customization options, it can feel overwhelming when you're first getting started. Some settings and advanced features take time to discover and understand, which can slow down onboarding for new users.
While the UI is generally well designed, there are times when navigating through multiple menus to find a specific setting or feature can be confusing. As a student using the free plan, I have also come across features that look useful but require upgrading, which can be a little frustrating.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using ClickUp, I mainly relied on ManageBac, along with notes, calendars, and documents, to keep track of assignments and deadlines. While ManageBac was helpful for viewing coursework and school requirements, I found it difficult to organize personal projects, research work, exam preparation, and extracurricular commitments in one place.
ClickUp solved this problem by giving me a centralized workspace where I could manage everything together. I can create tasks, set reminders, break large projects into smaller steps, and track progress over time. Compared to my previous workflow, ClickUp provides much more flexibility and customization in how I organize my work.
As a result, I spend less time trying to keep track of deadlines and more time focusing on completing tasks. It has helped me stay organized, reduce stress during busy periods, and balance academics, research projects, and extracurricular activities more effectively. The fact that I can do all of this on the free plan makes it especially valuable as a student.

 ### 10. ClickUp Made Assigning and Tracking Tasks Effortless for Our Remote Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Uko G. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I served as the sponsorship director for a major energy conference organised by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) UNILAG Chapter. I had over 50 companies to reach out to, and with a team of student volunteers scattered in different locations in Nigeria.

ClickUp gave me the luxury of assigning, monitoring and commenting on tasks. Also, the best thing about the software is that the various "OVERDUE" tasks were highlighted, and regular reminders were sent to ensure users didn't miss any tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only thing I didn’t really enjoy was how flooded my mailbox gets. I think something could be done about that, because at times I end up receiving over ten emails just from changes made to a task.

I think some people won't want to have so many such emails clouding their inbox, and that might even increase the chances of users missing the important ones and personal emails.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been very helpful for task scheduling and for keeping projects running smoothly, while also properly tracking the workflow and each member’s contribution.

 ### 11. Powerful with Seamless Integrations, Slight Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bob V. | Founder and CTO, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the custom dashboards in ClickUp, which give me a high-level view of team progress and help me track key metrics at a glance, like task progress, timelines, and team workloads. This means I don't have to jump between tools. ClickUp's integrations, especially with Slack and GitHub, are key for me. The Slack integration is huge; it pushes task updates directly to our channel, so the whole team stays in the loop. The GitHub integration links commits and branches to tasks, so we can see exactly what code changes are tied to each feature. ClickUp also integrates with Google Calendar, keeping my tasks and deadlines in sync, and even connects with Notion for documentation. It's really powerful and flexible, offering a huge productivity boost once the initial setup is done.
ClickUp delivers strong ROI when organizations fully adopt its all-in-one platform, replacing multiple tools for project management, documentation, and development tracking. While its extensive feature set creates a steep learning curve that requires structured onboarding and clear workspace organization, the platform is supported by comprehensive documentation and resources. Its integrated AI capabilities, powered by ClickUp Brain, further enhance productivity by automating administrative tasks, generating insights, and enabling intelligent search, helping teams turn project data into actionable outcomes with less manual effort.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially because there are so many customization options. Also, sometimes the mobile app lags a bit or it doesn't have the same full functionality as the desktop, so it takes a bit of adjustment.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize tasks, sub-tasks, and dependencies. Its custom dashboards let me track metrics like task progress and team workloads without switching tools. Integrations with Slack, GitHub, and Google Calendar keep everything in sync and connected.

 ### 12. Feature-Rich with a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** K. Prithviraj S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to organize my personal daily to-do list, track long-term goals, and manage side projects. I can dump everything into ClickUp, prioritize tasks, and set clear reminders, which gives me total clarity on what I need to focus on each day. What I like most is the customization; it helps me view the data easily. ClickUp lets me view the exact same data as a list, calendar, etc., and it fits my specific workflow. I found out that the project management features in ClickUp give me the perfect balance of powerful task management.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp but the main thing is that it's learning curve is challenging. Because ClickUp is so feature-rich and customizable, it can be overwhelming for new users when they first log in. The initial setup was moderately challenging due to the many features.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize my to-do list, track goals, and manage projects. It lets me dump everything, prioritize tasks, and set reminders, giving clarity on daily focus. I like the customization to view data easily, fitting my workflow.

 ### 13. All-in-One Project Hub with Powerful Customization and Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Junilla T. | Staff of Partnership and Relations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how it combines task management, documentation, goal tracking, and team collaboration in one platform. The customization is really useful — I can organize projects with different views like List, Board, Calendar, and Gantt depending on the workflow I need. It also helps reduce the need for multiple apps because features like Docs, Whiteboards, and time tracking are already integrated.

Another thing I appreciate is the automation and flexibility. Even for complex projects, it’s easy to create workflows, assign tasks, set priorities, and track progress in real time. The interface can feel overwhelming at first, but once everything is set up, it becomes a very efficient workspace for both personal productivity and team collaboration.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that the platform can feel overwhelming, especially for new users. There are so many features and customization options that the interface sometimes feels cluttered and takes time to learn. Some pages can also load slowly when working on larger projects or spaces with a lot of tasks.

I’ve also noticed that certain features are not always as intuitive as they could be, especially when setting up automations or navigating between different views. While the flexibility is great, it can sometimes make simple workflows feel more complicated than necessary.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps solve the problem of keeping projects, tasks, and communication scattered across multiple platforms. Instead of switching between different apps for task management, documentation, progress tracking, and collaboration, everything can be managed in one place. This makes workflows more organized and reduces the chances of missing deadlines or losing important information.

For me, the biggest benefit is improved productivity and visibility across projects. I can track progress in real time, prioritize tasks more effectively, and collaborate with others without needing constant follow-ups. The customizable views and automation features also save time on repetitive work, making project management much more efficient overall.

 ### 14. Simple, Straightforward UI That Gets You Started Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina H. | Fractional Operations & HR Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how simple the initial user interface is. A lot of platforms make their baseline interface far too complex, but ClickUp is much more straightforward. I can set up a basic tracker in about 15 minutes, whereas other platforms require me to invest a lot more time and money just to get started. ClickUp also offers a free basic plan, which is perfect to get started.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Honestly, nothing. I’ve used ClickUp both on my own and within a company setting. Now that I’m working as a business owner, I use ClickUp to help delegate work and host meetings more efficiently.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At the end of the day, ClickUp saves me time. It’s an efficient PM tool that integrates with other software, so I can work across multiple apps without even leaving ClickUp. I can host meetings, delegate tasks, plan projects, and document notes, questions, or employee issues without having to switch screens.

 ### 15. Organization and Communication in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego C. | Community Manager Sr., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how simple it is to use ClickUp and that it has many functions in one place. The multiple views of the interface are very good and it is highly customizable. I can keep my tasks in order, assign them, set the status, and make it visible to my superiors. Additionally, I can communicate with the team and keep tasks and communication in one tool, which is very valuable. There are also different views that help me depending on what I need: I use lists to see the tasks of a particular project and the calendar to organize my day. Although the initial setup was somewhat complex, the tool is quite intuitive and easy to get used to. We use ClickUp directly with Google Calendar. We switched to ClickUp from Slack and Asana for a simpler interface and the ability to use a single tool for communication and tasks; the implementation is quite intuitive, so getting into ClickUp should not be a challenge for anyone.

As for customer support, we have never had to use it because we have not experienced any failures or errors.

Brain, its AI agent, is very good at remembering tasks and things we said before, undoubtedly, for the price, it was a great investment for the team, as it allows us to stay very well connected.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The call section could be improved, we used it for a while and it had many bugs.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize tasks and internal communication. It allows me to keep everything in order, assign, and maintain visibility of tasks for my superiors. It is very valuable to be able to communicate and manage tasks in one place.

 ### 16. Total flexibility: powerful hierarchy and Kanban, Calendar, and Gantt views with one click

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antonio M. | Consultor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What blows my mind the most is the absolute flexibility of its hierarchical structure. Unlike other tools that pigeonhole you, here I can organize a giant project into Spaces, Folders, and Lists, and then see everything at once or in detail. Additionally, the ability to change views with a click (switching from a Kanban board for my team to a Calendar or Gantt Chart view to present to the directors) without losing data is a daily lifesaver.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is brutal at first and overwhelms new team members. It has so many options, buttons, and menus that the interface feels overloaded, causing visual fatigue. Additionally, the mobile app is very slow and does not sync well in real-time, making it almost impossible to respond to comments or update tasks quickly if you are out of the office.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resolve the dispersion of information by unifying task management, documentation, and team communication in one place. This directly benefits me by eliminating unnecessary sync meetings and endless threads on Slack, as the context of each deliverable is within its own task. Additionally, it reduces software expenses by allowing us to cancel subscriptions to other individual note and board apps.

 ### 17. Game-Changing Flexibility: Multiple Views and Custom Fields That Fit Our Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Neelanjana M. | Sr. Corporate Trainer/ Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The sheer flexibility of Views is the biggest upside for me. I prefer the Gantt Chart to see timelines, while my designers live in the Board View. The fact that we can look at the same data in different ways without messing up each other's workflow is a game-changer. Plus, Custom Fields let us track exactly what we need, like budget or priority level, rather than being forced into a rigid structure.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We struggled with a lack of transparency across departments. It was nearly impossible to see a high-level overview of project health without manual status meetings. ClickUp’s Dashboards and 'Everything View' solved this. The benefit is that I can now see potential bottlenecks in real-time. It has improved our on-time project delivery rate because we can pivot resources before a deadline is missed

 ### 18. Ideal flexibility but the interface is a bit confusing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah M. | Ui/Ux Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp because it is the program through which I manage all the details of my day in an organized and simple way, and it helps me arrange my work with complete flexibility. What I like about ClickUp is that it offers great flexibility that allows me to work with a large team easily without complications, and we can track who has completed their work and who hasn't yet. I also like the ability to create a work schedule with a calendar and dates and to seamlessly utilize Google Drive tools, which is very distinctive for me. Additionally, the program is supported by AI, which helps in easily obtaining all my needs these days, saving us a lot of time in our work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The interface is full of features and may be confusing for new users. I also encountered slow loading recently.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of data dispersion by organizing it all in one place, which helped me obtain accurate statistics. It also facilitates organizing work with great flexibility and provides tools like the calendar table and Google Drive integration. It has made a significant difference in saving time that might be wasted in traditional work.

 ### 19. Strong Collaboration Potential, Excellent Project Management Hub

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan B. | Recruitment Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Variable pricing is helpful for getting started and figuring out if the platform will work for a user. In my current organization, there aren't many integrations that I use, but I really appreciate being able to merge with google calendar and other google products if we do start adopting clickup more widely in my organization. There is definitely a strong learning curve, but I have seen ClickUp used in my previous workplace which had about 1000 employees, and it worked well as a platform to hold collaboration, shared notes and to do items. I also like the idea of having AI available to summarize status updates, give reports and pull answers from docunetation, but I haven't been able to use that much as of yet.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve and set up are challenging. Since I am really one of the only people using it in my current organization, I scaled it back to just one list that I use personally and it works well for me. However, I think that the learning curve is what prevented other people from adopting and using it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem that ClickUp solves for me now is that it gives me a place to capture tasks, and actually keep track of them in a way that I can pick them up, work on them, set them down and revisit them later if I need to. I LOVE having the additional documentation of what got completed and when so that I can look back at work that I've done and see what I actually did, rather than just operate from memory and move on from things mentally when things actually never got done. With ClickUp, I can have consistent processes that help me ensure closure and completion.

 ### 20. An organized mess: little squares that organize the work and give satisfaction when finished

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego O. | Dev, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Wow, look, what I like most about that platform is that it's a complete mess but organized! I mean, the order it brings to the work is crazy. Those little boxes are amazing. You drag the work along and feel a sense of relief every time you move something to "Done."

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

You touched a sore spot! Because not everything is salsa and rumba with that platform; sometimes it also gets on your nerves and makes you want to throw everything away. The mobile app is a mess, on the computer it works decently, but opening it on the phone is a disaster. It's poorly optimized and sluggish at loading data quickly.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before introducing ClickUp to the camel, the office was a complete mess! It looked like a gallery on market day, everyone shouting and no one knew where they were going. Goodbye to forgetfulness, I used to lose track quickly with so many deliveries, now the platform sends me alerts about what's coming up, so I no longer look like a fool with clients due to delays.

 ### 21. All-in-One Project Management That Keeps Work Organized and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ANITA G. | Contributor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that it brings task management, docs, project tracking, and collaboration into one place. I found the interface clean and easy to navigate after getting familiar with it, and the different views like lists and boards help organize work better.

The customization options are useful because workflows can be adjusted based on the project. I also liked being able to track deadlines, priorities, and progress without switching between multiple tools.

Another thing I found helpful was integrations and automation features that reduce repetitive work. Overall, it made planning and managing projects more organized and efficient.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I disliked initially was that ClickUp has a lot of features, which makes the platform feel overwhelming for new users. The learning curve can be a bit steep during onboarding, especially when setting up workflows and exploring all the available options.

Sometimes the interface feels crowded because many tools and settings are available at once. While the customization is powerful, it can take time to configure everything properly.

I also think onboarding guides and AI-assisted setup recommendations could be improved to help new users get started faster and reduce the initial complexity.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using ClickUp, managing tasks, notes, deadlines, and project updates across different tools was difficult and sometimes led to missed follow-ups or duplicated work. ClickUp helped bring everything into a single workspace, making it easier to organize projects and track progress.

Features like task management, priorities, views, and collaboration tools improved visibility and reduced the need to switch between multiple platforms. It also made planning more structured and helped keep timelines and responsibilities clearer.

The biggest benefit has been improved organization and productivity. Having tasks, documentation, and project tracking together saves time and makes project management more efficient.

 ### 22. All-in-One Project Tracking with ClickUp Brain and Calendar Sync

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda M. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love being able to keep track of my work in one place. Being able to use ClickUp brain to help clarify tasks is also helpful. Since I am a Project Manager, I love being able to get the full scoop of a project to track progress as well as where my team members are at on a task that eliminates too many check in meetings, I also love the calendar sync feature.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Too many options cause many to feel overwhelmed, so I wish it was more direct and simple. I find it easy, but many of my co-workers struggle with it. They feel the notifications are overwhelming and don't understand how it works, so may just give up. It becomes another "task" instead of helping to complete tasks for some. So I wish we could remove constant notifications where a team has been tagged as that is where many unnecessary notifications are spun from. I also dislike how easy it is to accidentally add a new member instead of guest so it automatically charges the credit card on file. This has happened a countless number of times so I have turned off this feature, but it would be nice if it was more clear and let you know it would charge the card on file to proceed to provide more freedom for staff to add guests without having to control everything.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Bringing my team into one place for communication, this is the prayer. Sometimes we have to share communication in ClickUp and then an email to ensure those who haven't adopted ClickUp get the message, but this is the goal and its helped in some ways. It helps us to see our work and keep track of projects.

 ### 23. ClickUp: total flexibility and automations that centralize the management of two agencies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Javier O. | Head of Digital Strategy, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I value most about ClickUp is the flexibility to adapt the workspace for two agencies with different dynamics. We have been using it daily for over two years, and it has become the operations center for managing teams, clients, and digital marketing deliverables. The interface allows organizing projects by client with customized views (list, board, Gantt) without the need for additional tools. Internal automations save us time on repetitive tasks like status changes or assignments. The integration with Google Drive, Slack, and other tools in the digital stack works well on a day-to-day basis. The performance is stable even with large workspaces and many active users. As for the price/ROI, centralizing the management of two agencies on a single platform more than justifies the cost. The support is good, with helpful responses within a reasonable time. The AI features for summarizing tasks or generating subtasks have also started to be useful in the daily workflow.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main area for improvement I see is the pricing structure for users with limited access. In agencies where external people collaborate or profiles that need visibility on certain projects but will use the platform occasionally, the cost per seat can become high. It would be useful to have more intermediate access levels, for example, a "viewer" role or external collaborator with reduced permissions at a significantly lower price. This would make the tool more flexible for teams working with freelancers, clients, or occasional contacts without driving up the monthly cost.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solves is dispersion. Before centralizing management in ClickUp, task tracking, deliveries, and team communication were spread across email, spreadsheets, and different tools depending on the project. With two active agencies and multiple simultaneous clients, this generated errors, duplications, and wasted time. ClickUp allows us to have everything in one place: assigned tasks, delivery dates, the status of each project, and complete visibility for the team. This translates into fewer follow-up meetings, fewer things falling through the cracks, and a real ability to scale without losing operational control.

 ### 24. Flexible Workflows and Great Integrations, but AI Add-On Costs Add Up

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** João Marcelo L. | Analista de segurança da informação, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how I can create and customize workflows to adapt to my work style and daily office routine. While I think the customization options could be improved, ClickUp still has an advantage over other tools.
I also like integrating my favorite tools like Notion, Teams, and the best integration of all: Outlook. This way, I can turn various things into action items and streamline my work as a PM.The AI features are absolutely incredible. However, it's a shame they come at a high cost and require an add-on to my existing plan.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp's support and onboarding are definitely the platform's weak point. Paid courses and paid support, seriously? If you want to build cool things, you'll have to search a lot on third-party channels. What helps (a lot) is the community.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving challenges related to multi-project management and cross-functional team alignment. Furthermore, it allows for better time management and performance indicator analysis

 ### 25. Total control of tasks and tickets: clear data and great team support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael d. | Dirección de infraestructura y servicios, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The ability to control the team's tasks, the support from super agents to free up some of my activities, and the possibility of obtaining information from the data generated are aspects I value greatly. I loved being able to create a ticket table for requests from forms and, additionally, generate tasks with the necessary information to follow up on them clearly and orderly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I would like the lowest level of the payment system to have more things unlocked; for example, to be able to create systematizations without needing to pay more.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to create a service desk through the forms. I was extracting the information from a Google Docs and couldn't find a way to assign the fields to different columns. They helped me identify the necessary steps to resolve this situation and ensure that, when importing the data, everything was done correctly.

 ### 26. ClickUp Keeps My Entire Service Business Organized in One Flexible Workspace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SHAMARIAH P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is helpful because it actually bends to how you work instead of the other way around.

The hierarchy is the thing that gets me, Workspace, Space, Folder, List, Task, Subtask. That's enough levels to keep your client work, your finances, your marketing, and your backend operations completely separate without needing four different tools to do it.

And because everything lives in the same place, you can have multiple views on the exact same data. Looking at your week on a calendar, your project on a board, your finances in a table. Same tasks, different lens.

The custom fields are where it gets interesting for service providers specifically. You're not stuck with whatever the tool thinks you should track. You build it around what actually matters in your business.

Docs sitting inside the workspace is underrated too. Your SOPs, your client briefs, your onboarding stuff, right next to the tasks they belong to. Not in a random Google Drive folder nobody remembers exists.

Automations handle the stuff you'd otherwise have to remember to do manually. Status changes, assignments, notifications. The mental load stuff.

For anyone running a service business, the real value is that it can hold your whole operation in one place and actually feel like it was built for you, because you built it.

Pricing is super great as well, I really try to keep my overhead to under a 100 a month!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It has a steep learning curve that takes time to get used to, when I just started out in Clickup it took me a great amount of time to figure out the features and how to utlize them in a way that made sense.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clickup is my project management tool it allows me to manage all my projects simply and have a great view of what all is going on in my business at any given time + the integrations with Zapier etc are perfect for me as it allows me to run the automations that I need to make things smooth.

 ### 27. Flexible, Powerful Work Management with ClickUp AI Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Navanita D. | Project Delivery Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how flexible and powerful it is for managing work in one place. Features like ClickUp AI and Autopilot Agents help automate repetitive tasks and improve productivity, while the customizable workflows make it easy to adapt to different team needs. It’s especially helpful for keeping tasks, docs, communication, and reporting organized in a single platform.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that the platform can sometimes feel overwhelming because of the number of features and customization options available. There can also be a learning curve for new users, especially when setting up advanced automations, dashboards, or workflows.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps solve problems around project visibility, task tracking, and team collaboration by keeping everything centralized in one platform. It has improved organization, reduced manual follow-ups through automations and AI agents, and made it easier to manage workflows, deadlines, and communication across teams more efficiently.

 ### 28. Centralized platform for efficient project tracking and workflow automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad Hamza H. | Social Media Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’ve been using ClickUp mainly for project and task management, and one thing I genuinely like is how customizable it is compared to other tools I’ve tried. My team uses it to manage deadlines, assign tasks, keep project notes, and track progress in one place instead of switching between multiple apps.

The features I use the most are dashboards, automations, docs, and the different task views like Board and Calendar. Recently, the AI tools have also helped summarize updates and organize information faster, especially during busy weeks.

There was a bit of a learning curve in the beginning because ClickUp has a lot of features, but after setting up our workflows properly, it became much easier to manage daily operations and team collaboration. Overall, it has helped us stay more organized and transparent across projects.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Honestly, I haven’t faced any major issues with ClickUp so far. There was a small learning curve at the beginning because the platform offers many features and customization options. Still, after spending some time setting up workflows, it became much easier to use.

Overall, my experience has been positive, especially for managing projects, tracking tasks, and improving team collaboration in one place.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is helping us solve the problem of managing work across multiple tools and disconnected workflows. Before using it, tasks, project updates, documents, and communication were spread across different platforms, which made collaboration harder and sometimes caused missed deadlines or confusion.

With ClickUp, we’re able to manage projects, track progress, store documentation, and communicate within one system. The UI is flexible, and the different views, like List, Board, and Calendar, make it easier to organize work based on team preferences. We also use integrations to keep workflows connected with other tools we already rely on.

One of the biggest benefits has been better visibility into ongoing work and team accountability. Automations and AI features help reduce repetitive manual updates and save time when creating summaries or organizing information. From a productivity standpoint, it has improved coordination between team members and made project tracking much more efficient.

In terms of ROI, having multiple features on a single platform has reduced the need for separate tools, which is valuable for both cost and workflow management. Overall, ClickUp has helped our team stay more organized, improve communication, and manage projects more efficiently.

 ### 29. ClickUp’s All-in-One Workspace for Task Tracking and Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Priya K. | Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

So, basically.... what I like best about clickup is its all-in-one workspace. Yeah, where I can manage tasks, track progress, and collaborate in one place. I love the flexibility to switch between views like the list, board and calendar, this makes it easy to organize work according to my needs, I also like the customization options, that help me to enhance my productivity, by keeping everything structured and visible. That's why I would give it a 10/10

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main downside of Clickup, in my opinion, is that it can feel a bit complex for new users because of how many features it has. I also feel like it takes some time to learn, and to really get into a good flow with the interface.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me solve the challenge of managing multiple tasks while keeping everything organized in one place. Before I started using it, it was hard to track assignments, deadlines, and progress across different activities. With ClickUp, I can centralize all my tasks, set clear priorities, and monitor progress easily. As a result, I stay more organized, my productivity has improved, and I’m much less likely to miss deadlines.

 ### 30. Transforming Our Creative Team's Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro A. | Sr. Marketing PM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As a digital marketing expert working with a creative team focused on ecommerce, finding an efficient project management tool was essential to our success. ClickUp has genuinely changed the way we organize our processes and track time across projects.

Organization and Time Management
ClickUp provides a solid platform that helps us streamline our workflow from start to finish. With tools like task lists, time tracking, and customizable dashboards, we’ve been able to structure projects more clearly and consistently. Each team member can easily see their tasks, deadlines, and progress, which helps ensure nothing gets missed.

Efficiency and Speed
One of the biggest improvements we’ve noticed is how much faster we’re able to complete projects. Within the first six months of using ClickUp, we managed to finish projects 50% faster than before. That jump in speed largely comes from having everything in one place and using ClickUp’s set of features to stay organized, aligned, and focused.

Collaboration and Communication
ClickUp has also strengthened our collaboration and day-to-day communication. Real-time comments, file sharing, and clear task assignments make it easier to work together, especially when some of us are remote. As a result, we’ve seen higher productivity and a more connected, cohesive team dynamic.

Customization and Flexibility
The ability to customize views and build workflows around our specific needs has been especially valuable. Whether we’re using a Kanban board, a Gantt chart, or a straightforward task list, ClickUp makes it easy to switch views without disrupting how we work, which suits the variety of projects we handle.

Conclusion
Overall, ClickUp has been a game-changer for our creative team. Its range of features, ease of use, and clear impact on productivity make it a strong fit for managing ecommerce projects. I highly recommend ClickUp to any team that wants to improve project management and deliver results faster.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Using ClickUp has been a game-changer for our creative team dedicated to ecommerce. It has revolutionized the way we organize processes and measure time, allowing us to complete projects 50% faster within the first six months of implementation. The platform's versatility and robust features have significantly improved our workflow, enabling better collaboration and efficiency.

However, one challenge we've encountered is the frequent updates to the interface. While these updates aim to enhance user experience, they sometimes cause confusion among team members as they navigate the new changes. Additionally, the high volume of notifications can be overwhelming, making it easy to miss important alerts amidst the noise. Despite these minor setbacks, ClickUp remains an invaluable tool for our team's productivity and success.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency and Speed
One of the most remarkable benefits we've experienced is the boost in our project's completion speed. Within the first six months of implementing ClickUp, we've managed to complete our projects 50% faster than before. This improvement is primarily due to ClickUp's comprehensive suite of tools that help us stay organized and focused.

 ### 31. Feature-Rich Project Management Platform with Great Hierarchy for Growing Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash K. | Co-Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is the flexibility and hierarchy structure. We use it mainly for project management at SocialX, and the way tasks, folders, spaces, and docs are organized makes it very easy to manage work at different levels without things becoming messy. The UI is feature-rich while still being manageable once you get familiar with it, and the integrations help reduce context switching between tools. I also genuinely like the pricing because compared to many other tools, ClickUp offers a lot of functionality for the cost.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that the pricing can become expensive as usage scales and more advanced features are needed. While it is still competitive overall, the costs can add up for growing teams. I have also noticed that the platform can feel slow at times, especially when working inside larger workspaces with many tasks and documents. Because the platform has so many features, the onboarding and learning curve can also feel slightly overwhelming initially.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us centralize project management, task tracking, documentation, and collaboration in one place instead of managing everything across multiple tools. The hierarchy structure especially makes it easier to organize projects clearly and scale workflows without confusion. This has improved visibility across tasks, reduced operational chaos, and helped our team work in a more structured and accountable way. Features like automations, integrations, and AI assistance also help save time on repetitive work and improve overall operational efficiency.

 ### 32. ClickUp’s flexible hierarchy and automations keep our projects moving fast

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Soumaya G. | Freelance Translator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As a PM I live in ClickUp all day. The thing I like most is how flexible the hierarchy is - Spaces, Folders, Lists, Tasks and subtasks let me model basically any project structure my teams throw at me. The custom statuses per List are huge for us becuase engineering, design and marketing all run differnt workflows and I dont have to force everyone into the same template. Dashboards with sprint burndown and workload view have basically replaced our standups for async updates, and the automations (when status changes to QA, assign to tester) save me probably 3-4 hrs a week of busywork. Also the recent AI features for summarizing comment threads on long tasks have actaully been useful, not just gimmicks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Honestly the biggest downside is that ClickUp tries to be everything to everyone, and the UI can feel overwhelming for new team memebers. Onboarding a new PM or stakeholder usually takes me a solid hour of walking them through views, becuase there's like 15+ ways to look at the same data. Performance is also hit or miss - large lists with 500+ tasks and lots of custom fields get noticably laggy, espcially on the mobile app. Notifications are another pain point, even after tweaking settings I still get a flood of irrelvant pings and important @mentions can get lost. Lastly, some features feel half-baked at launch (looking at you, Whiteboards) and get polished over months which is frustrating when you adopt something early.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp my team was juggling Jira for engineering, Asana for marketing, and a bunch of Google Sheets for roadmaps and OKRs. Visibility across teams was basically zero and I spent way too much time stiching together status reports for leadership every week. ClickUp consolidated all of that into one place - now I have a single Goals view tied to actual tasks, cross-team Dashboards for our weekly buisness review, and Docs live next to the work they describe. Concrete benefit: my weekly reporting prep went from ~4 hours of copy-paste to maybe 30 mins of reviewing an auto-updating dashboard. It also made handoffs between PM, design and eng way smoother since everyone is working off the same task and comment history.

 ### 33. AI, flexible views, and excellent support: a fast and easy app to manage clients

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana C. | Co-Founder, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the AI option and the multiple view alternatives for managing all tasks. It is a very fast tool, with an incredible and easy-to-use interface; moreover, the whole team adapted very quickly to the way of working. We are a marketing agency and we organize each client in their own folder, with their tasks, assigned people, and an independent chat for each one. In practice, it's like having many apps in one, with an unbeatable price. I also like that they are always adding new options and integrations, which is ideal. Lastly, their support is excellent: very friendly and effective.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

For now, I haven't found anything I don't like. Before, you couldn't send audios and now you can, so I love everything already.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can have all the tasks organized in one place: the whole team can update the status of each one and thus everyone stays informed. I love the dependencies option; a task cannot progress if another is not yet completed.

In each task, we can also add links, information, documents, and files, which is ideal for having everything centralized and at hand. Additionally, I love the call transcription option.

Another thing I really value is that we can record the screen from the same tool, so we truly have absolutely everything in one place.

The free option is incredible, even better than other tools. And the paid version is excellent for teams: it includes very good tools and options, and you can also connect your Google Calendar, which for me is a 10.

 ### 34. ClickUp’s Granular Hierarchy Is a Game-Changer for Managing Multiple Workflows

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** João P. | Assistente de pesquisa, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The absolute best part about ClickUp is its granular hierarchy (Spaces > Folders > Lists). As someone constantly juggling complex academic research, design workflows, and technical studies, this structure is a total game-changer. It allows me to keep my different 'worlds' completely separate but accessible within a single app, which has significantly reduced my cognitive load.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp is fantastic overall, the performance can still be a bit sluggish at times. Because it’s packed with so many features, the desktop app sometimes feels heavy. I often notice a slight lag or a few seconds of loading time when switching between complex views or opening large documents, which can break my focus when I'm in a hurry.

Also, the extreme customization is a bit of a double-edged sword. It works perfectly for me, but whenever I invite a guest or a new collaborator to a project, they almost always feel overwhelmed by the sheer amount of buttons and settings on the screen.

As a suggestion, it would be amazing if the development team continued to prioritize raw speed and load times. Furthermore, adding a true 'lite' or 'minimalist' view toggle for guests or beginners would make onboarding external people much less intimidating.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using ClickUp, my workflow was completely fragmented. Because I balance very different types of work—academic research, UI/UX design projects for educational platforms, and technical studies—I used to have my life scattered across multiple apps. I tracked design assets in one tool, wrote technical documentation in another, and managed deadlines on a spreadsheet.

I struggled heavily with context-switching and losing track of information. It was chaotic.

Now, everything lives in a single workspace. I can attach design files directly to my research notes and set clear task dependencies. This centralization has solved the problem of 'scattered data.'

As a direct result, I save at least 3 to 4 hours every week that I used to spend just doing administrative work or digging through folders to find links. But honestly, the biggest benefit is the mental clarity. I no longer worry about dropping the ball on a project deadline because I forgot to check a specific app. Everything I need to execute my work is exactly where it should be.

 ### 35. ClickUp: Infinitely Customizable Project Management Powerhouse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Julian D. | Operations Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Using ClickUp is like upgrading your project management system from individual spreadsheets to an interconnected database powerhouse. It's the single most valuable asset at our company. It out-performs any other project management software on the market (I've tried them all). The task architecture is in a league of its own. The user interface is modular, which allows for infinite customizability. The integrations are robust. The pricing is a steal, especially being able to onboard different types of company seats. The support and community are like no other. And once you use the built-in artificial intelligence, it's game over.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only thing I dislike about ClickUp is that there isn't an app dedicated to communication. It's great to have Channels to talk about projects in, but if you're on the go it makes it very difficult (and why we haven't completely replaced Slack yet). Another thing: when it comes to connecting with agency partners, there's just too much friction in trying to bring them into ClickUp (so we have to use Slack).

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem ClickUp solves for us is having all the work in one place, with as much detail as possible, and infinite data analytics and reporting. When the infrastructure is set up correctly, it's an absolute powerhouse. As a member of the Leadership team, it allows me to have detailed insight at the most macro scale and also down to the most micro level.

 ### 36. Flexible workflows with powerful views, customization, and API

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro A. | Analista de Projetos e Processos Jr, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Honestly, what I like most about ClickUp is that it doesn't force my team into a rigid way of working, it adapts to us. The combination of Spaces, Folders and Lists with the different views (I switch between board and Gantt all the time) makes it easy to organize everything from a quick sprint to broader project planning. Customizing fields and statuses for each context was a game changer for me. The first few days were smooth, I didn't need to watch a tutorial marathon to get the hang of it, which is rare in this kind of tool. Day-to-day performance holds up well, and the API has saved me more than once when I needed to plug ClickUp into systems that don't have native integration, beyond the basics like Gmail and Outlook that already work out of the box. I've played around with ClickUp Brain a bit and it does help, even though I still don't use it as much as I could. The only thing that stings is paying in dollars here in Brazil, it's not cheap, but considering it replaces a handful of other tools and centralizes everything in one place, it ends up paying off.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The price in dollars is definitely the main pain point for those of us in Brazil, it makes the cost noticeably heavier compared to local tools, and it's something I have to justify every time I think about expanding licenses for the team. Beyond that, the notification volume can get overwhelming pretty fast, especially in busier workspaces; I had to spend some time tweaking the settings to stop getting flooded with alerts that weren't really relevant to me. Performance also takes a hit when the workspace grows, nothing critical, but you can feel some lag on heavier lists and dashboards. And one thing I really miss is Portuguese support. The interface has some translation, but when you actually need help, talking to support in English creates an extra barrier, even though when I did reach out the experience itself was smooth and the team solved my issue without drama. None of these are deal-breakers, but they're the kind of friction that, over time, you wish weren't there.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, ClickUp is solving pretty much everything for us. We're using it close to its full potential and almost the entire business runs through it today, projects, tasks, documentation, processes, team communication. It became our single source of truth, which was exactly what we needed. Before, information was scattered across spreadsheets, chats and a few different tools, and it was always a struggle to figure out where the latest version of something lived. Now everyone knows where to look, decisions are documented in context next to the tasks, and onboarding new people got way easier because they have one place to learn how things work. The benefit goes beyond productivity, it's the clarity of having the whole operation visible in one platform.

 ### 37. Easy to Use and Feature-Rich Task Tracking with ClickUp

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicola R. | Places Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I currently use the free option, which is ideal for my needs.
It enables me to keep track of my tasks, as well as set up alerts using the AI functionality, to notify me when tasks are due.
The ClickUp team are very quick to get in touch with me if I browse sections that are in the paid version, which I may look into obtaining in the future.
It has a lot of features, which I have only scratched the surface of with integrations into creating different documents i.e Word docs, as well as a whiteboard feature to think through ideas for my more complex tasks.
The software is very easy to use, and I was able to get up and running with it very quickly and I have had no issues, performance wise, in going through everything I need to get done.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I haven't found anything that I dislike about ClickUp.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me with my organisation, and to keep track of what I have done and what still needs to get done.

 ### 38. All-In-One Platform with Intuitive UI and Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thanasis S. | Co-owner - Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how ClickUp's intuitive UI has everything I need for managing my projects. The calendar integration helps organize tasks, provide accurate project completion estimates, and manage a specific backlog for each day's tasks. ClickUp's ability to integrate seamlessly with every tool, including using the API for task creation and Gmail, turns it into a database for everything my company needs, like inquiries and support tickets, and enables internal discussions for each task. I really appreciate the support team, and the initial setup was really easy as we started with just folders and Kanban, then discovered other features we didn’t know we needed.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I’m genuinely very satisfied with it and honestly have nothing to complain about.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp integrates with my tools, serving as a database for everything my company needs. It organizes tasks, provides accurate project estimates, supports with API and Gmail integration, and offers a specific backlog for daily tasks.

 ### 39. Perfect Blend of Frameworks, Templates, and Customization to Power My Business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shannon R. | Business Development Manager, Financial Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It's got the perfect balance of frameworks and customization to help me be productive immediately on starting. I need some direction for how to organize myself, and the templates for almost every imaginable workflow were perfect for setting myself up on day one. But the fact that I can still customize every field and create stunning dashboards and views that are bespoke to my business, make it astoundingly functional. The integration with my other business tools is also incredibly helpful so that I have a single engine behind my business.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I wish I better understood the limits of the various paid tiers. I will upgrade to a higher tier at some point in the future, but I can't rationalize that spend yet. This means there are features I haven't used because I only get two functional uses (Like mind maps). I feel like it could be useful to play with, but I don't want to waste my "trial" within the tier I am currently using on playing around in case I have a legitimate need in future.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has become my business's central brain. I have spaces for financials, sales/marketing, delivery, operations, and I'm getting better at using it every day. The templates are incredible for the utility and increase my business performance exponentially because I can maintain all of my tasks and brainstorming product in one place. The ability to create dependencies within the lists and docs is unbelievably helpful for mapping my workflows. As these processes become more established, I'll even be able to create automations using AI and that part will really improve my performance velocity.

 ### 40. Feature-Rich Yet Easy to Navigate

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Awais S. | Junior MERN Stack Developer (Freelance), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

In ClickUp, I see there are a lot of features, but they’re managed very well and arranged in a clear sequence. Because of that, people can easily find what they want.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing you managed really well, but one problem is that you didn’t mention how to use it. I also faced an issue because I don’t know how to use some features. I suggest you make videos for every feature so people can easily learn how to use them. Also, please create a section where people can find and watch these videos to learn.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Click Up is solving a lot of my problems, but I still have a few issues. It helps me manage all my tasks and shows me which ones are done, in progress, or complete. It also keeps me updated about my projects and reminds me of the dates I’ve saved. There are just too many things going on sometimes, and it can feel a bit overwhelming.

 ### 41. Robust Tool for Project Management, Lacks Free Timeline Feature

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** vkpraveenkumar . | Lead Video Editor and Admin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like using ClickUp for data tracking and project tracking. It's useful for managing my video editing work with different phases, and I use it to maintain and manage the progress of tasks and to assign team members. The activity panel is especially helpful because it lets us comment on what's happening, providing updates that everyone can check. Also, connecting Google Drive to ClickUp is handy for searching files and photos. The initial setup of ClickUp was very easy, as it prompted me to input data about my work and goals, and overall, it was a good experience. Compared to Notion, I find ClickUp much better for use and organizing things. The ability to give a default view and pin it to show entire sections is a nice touch.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I'm not able to use the timeline view. I wanted to try that and then purchase it if I need it. Maybe the timeline view can be given to a free trial.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage my video editing projects, track data and tasks, and collaborate with my team. It helps me maintain the progress of various work phases and assign tasks, with an activity panel that tracks updates and comments.

 ### 42. ClickUP. The best one for all needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan Pablo A. | Content Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how flexible and centralized it is. I’ve used it to manage projects, SOPs, onboarding, QA processes, and day-to-day operations all in one place. It helps keep teams aligned, reduces manual follow-ups, and gives much better visibility across tasks and priorities without feeling overly complicated.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It can be a little hard to understand at first. It was my first time using a web service like this, and luckily I had someone to teach me.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helped solve a big problem around scattered processes and lack of visibility across projects. Before using it, a lot of information lived in different docs, chats, and spreadsheets. With ClickUp, we were able to centralize project tracking, SOPs, onboarding, QA, and operational workflows in one system.

The biggest benefit has been better organization and accountability. It’s much easier to track priorities, automate repetitive follow-ups, and keep everyone aligned without constantly asking for updates.

 ### 43. Versatile Command Centre for Work and Life

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel Y. | Personal and Head of PMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It is a really versatile product. I started with the free version for personal use, to capture my work experience and use cases. I have incrementally upgraded to business over the past few months and I now use it as my complete command centre - for work use cases to enable me to do my job better, and for a host of personal ones. It has become my go-to for everything, and I come up with new use cases all the time. I am now able to take support ticket information from Google sheets (which is exported from another tool as an email attachment), send it to ClickUp to create as tasks, linked to custom fields, and I can now create dashboards to monitor key metrics. I am able to ingest data via the API functionality to pull key project information from another PPM tool to bring everything together to have an overall view even though our company does not use ClickUp. It gives me a centralised environment to manage my work and personal life without using multiple tools in most cases. I love the fact that I can use custom fields, etc to manipulate it from being just a traditional task management tool, to use for just about anything. It's costing my a fair amount to use all this functionality in my personal capacity, but for the amount of value and organisation I get, it's worth it for me at the current price. Next step is seeing if the full AI bundle is worth it for me - I already have multiple use cases.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I wish I could personalise it more visually and really make it my own. I also wish the mobile user interface was better for dashboards. The layouts I create on the web or windows versions don't translate well at all.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think I've explained it clearly enough in my likes section.

 ### 44. Intuitive and Efficient, But Automation Can Improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guilherme P. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the user interface and user experience of ClickUp, which is pleasant and intuitive. After a quick onboarding, the entire team can use the tool well. The notifications and organization are also aspects I appreciate. ClickUp helps with task organization, status tracking, and offers timeline visualization, which is quite useful for managing my work team.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The automations could be improved, the limit of uses is not clear, the logic doesn't always work well, especially with greater complexities like subtasks, tasks with more than one owner, tasks that move to other departments. It's difficult to make it perfect, it takes time, you have to invest.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for task organization, status tracking, and timeline visualization. The interface is pleasant and intuitive, making it easy to use after a quick onboarding for the entire team.

 ### 45. Powerful customization and integrations with Outlook that simplified my workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariana Y. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like the possibility of customizing task lists: from defining the icon and color of each list, to creating columns with different data formats, to the various views that can be saved. This allowed me to tailor the tasks to the processes of my service business.

The chat within the app is a great strategy, as it keeps the team operating without needing to use another tool.

In terms of integrations, I mainly use it with Outlook to send an email when a task is completed. With this, I was able to eliminate an Excel automation that I used for the same purpose.

The performance has improved significantly since I started using it in 2024 and, today, it is adequate. The price is also fair for the benefits delivered.

Regarding AI, I really liked the Notetaker; the summaries are well organized and access to the recording video is great for later review.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Regarding the Documents, I loved the possibility of keeping all the documentation within ClickUp and even started using this feature. However, in daily use, we found it difficult to navigate: when the documentation became very extensive and with a more complex hierarchy, the application started to freeze or take a long time to load.

Another negative point was when we needed to use the chat and, at the same time, consult the documentation; we ended up having to switch screens or open another window to keep up with both.

This combination of performance and navigation also discouraged us from continuing to use the Calls feature.

Perhaps, if there were a way to use the chat in a floating window, the experience would be great for simultaneously navigating through the documentation or lists without needing to switch so much.

Another situation that, in this case, bothers me a lot is not having the possibility to register dates to be excluded from the task recurrence calendar. In Brazil, we have many holidays throughout the year, which ends up generating extra work to correct errors in date assignments caused by task repetition.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small and still developing company, ClickUp has been essential for the creation and refinement of our operational processes. Three years ago, before discovering the tool, our controls were on sheets of paper. By mapping each step in the checklists, we managed to drastically reduce errors in verification and forgetting steps. Moreover, everything started to be done faster because it doesn't rely on memory: just read the checklist, execute, and mark as completed.

 ### 46. ClickUp: All-in-One, Fast, and User-Friendly with a Powerful AI Knowledge Base

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael S. | RevOS™ Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is an excellent tool that covers nearly everything your team needs access to. You have project management, time tracking, team chat channels, document & file storage, collaboration tools, and the excellent AI knowledge base that helps you quickly find something buried in your history.
As my team works more in tools like Claude, ClickUp's ability to integrate with it makes workflow quick and easy inside and outside of ClickUp itself.
I never run into any performance issues. and the UI is in a very user-friendly place. The latest (2026) version of the platform is very well designed.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only thing that has bugged me about ClickUp is when it automatically adds you as a follower to tasks or chats that you don't need to be a part of, just because you were once assigned to them. This leads to a flood of inbox notifications and audio pings that can make me spend just as much time managing my ClickUp settings, as I spend actually working some days.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is currently solving our need for more context when working on projects as an individual. My team is fully remote and can end up unintentionally siloed most days. So having AI updates that summarize client meetings I didn't attend and having a strong search tool that will find me info or documents I need for task context is excellent.

 ### 47. ClickUp Makes Team Collaboration Easy With Everything in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cindy S. | Systems Oversight, Project Manager, Curricular Design and and Data Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Collaboration between my coworkers and staff is so much easier with ClickUp! We had so many different systems for communication, calendaring, chat, project management, task management, invoicing... and now it's all in one place!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The loading times are pretty long. I have a great internet connection and don't have problems with any other websites, but when I move to a new list or try to do a search either in the main search box or to add a relationship to another task, it has to sit and think about it for a while.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used to have information all over the place and had to remember where different pieces of information "lived". Now with ClickUp being able to track almost every part of our business it's easy to find what we need. When we're having back-and-forth conversations about a topic and doing bits of research and such we can keep it all in one place so we don't have to wonder "Was that a Zoom chat? An email? What about that other related thing??"

 ### 48. ClickUp Streamlines Everything: Tasks, Communication, and Tracking in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zeeshan K. | 3D Designer and Video Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is that it brings task management, communication, file sharing, deadlines, and project tracking into one platform. It has helped our organization reduce back-and-forth conversations on emails and chats, saving a lot of time and improving team coordination. The UI is clean and easy to use, and different task views make project management more flexible. Integrations and file sharing within tasks are very convenient, keeping everything organized in one place.
ClickUp has improved our work efficiency by making it easy to assign tasks, track progress, set priorities, and manage deadlines. It also offers good value for money by replacing multiple tools with a single solution. The automation and AI features further help reduce manual work and streamline workflows.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing that can feel slightly overwhelming at first is the large number of features and customization options available in ClickUp. New users may need some time to fully explore and understand all the tools and settings. However, once the team becomes familiar with the platform, it becomes much easier to use and highly efficient for managing projects and workflows.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has solved many of the communication and project management challenges our organization previously faced while using multiple tools like emails, Google Chats, and separate task management platforms. Earlier, tracking tasks, sharing files, following up with team members, and managing deadlines involved a lot of back-and-forth communication and confusion. With ClickUp, everything is now centralized in one place. It has made task assignment, project tracking, file sharing, and deadline management much more organized and efficient. Our team can clearly see responsibilities, priorities, and project progress in real time, which has improved accountability and reduced missed follow-ups. This has helped us save time, improve collaboration, maintain better workflow efficiency, and deliver projects more consistently on schedule.

 ### 49. Click Up helped us manage 600+ client projects more efficiently

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Edith E. | IT Projektmanager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I personally like most about ClickUp is how flexible the platform is for building custom workflows. We currently manage more than 600 clients, and before ClickUp it was difficult to keep track of project statuses, campaign launches, contract durations, invoices, and follow up processes across different tools.

With ClickUp we built separate workflows for our invoicing process and campaign management. For example, we created automations for payment reminders, follow up workflows, and notifications for expiring client contracts, which saves our team a lot of repetitive manual work every week. We also use dashboards and custom statuses to instantly see which clients are online, in preparation, paused, or close to their contract end date.

Another thing I really like is that processes can be adjusted very quickly without rebuilding everything from scratch. As our company grew, our workflows changed a lot, and ClickUp made it easy to continuously improve and expand our setup.

Performance has also been very reliable for us, even with a large amount of active projects, automations, and workflows running at the same time. Since we manage more than 600 clients inside ClickUp, having a stable and fast system is extremely important in our daily operations.

We also tested some of the AI features inside ClickUp, mainly for summaries, content support, and organizing information faster. Especially for internal notes and task overviews, it can save time and make processes more efficient.

The onboarding and setup phase took some time in the beginning, mainly because we continuously discovered new features, automations, AI tools, and integrations that allowed us to optimize our workflows even further. But in the long run, that flexibility became one of the biggest advantages for us.

For us, the pricing is definitely worth it because ClickUp replaced several separate tools and created much more transparency across our company.

Overall, ClickUp created much more transparency and structure in our daily operations and I would definitely recommend it to companies managing many ongoing projects and internal processes.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

To be honest, there is not really anything I strongly dislike about ClickUp. The only thing I would mention is that the platform can feel a bit overwhelming at the beginning because there are so many features, automations, integrations, and customization possibilities.

You constantly discover new ways to improve workflows and build even better processes, which is actually a positive thing, but it also means that it takes some time until you fully understand all the possibilities the platform offers.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp mainly solved our problem of not having a clear overview across different internal processes. Since we work with more than 600 clients and many ongoing campaigns and projects at the same time, it became very difficult to track project statuses, invoices, contract durations, follow ups, and responsibilities across different tools.

With ClickUp we were able to build custom workflows for invoicing, campaign management, and project tracking. Today we can instantly see which clients are online, in preparation, paused, or close to their contract end date. We also built automations for reminders, follow ups, and internal processes, which saves our team a lot of repetitive manual work every week.

Overall, it helped us create much more transparency, structure, and efficiency in our daily operations.

 ### 50. Seamless Cross-App Sync Keeps Our Team Aligned

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashweena S. | Business Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’m able to work across different apps on the same platform. For example, I can sync Figma, Gmail, and SharePoint, which I use the most, and my team has visibility into the same tasks I’m working on.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Maybe the free trial could include a few premium features, so we can try those out as well before subscribing. Right now, I feel like not being able to explore the premium features during the trial is the main roadblock.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to track my tasks and project-related work in Excel, and then I had to send it to my supervisor by email or through SharePoint. With ClickUp, however, my supervisor can get real-time updates and has better visibility into the team’s performance. In Excel, we would need to build a dashboard to get that kind of overview, but with ClickUp we don’t have to spend extra time doing that.
