### 1. Ultimate Tool for Organized and Seamless Solo Business Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherrise E. | Founder and Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I absolutely love the task management system of ClickUp and really love the easily structured files and folders. It has provided one place to keep everything, which helps me continue building, changing, and adapting as I progress. ClickUp allows me to easily share information with others who might help me on a project and keeps all my business details and tasks organized. It's super easy and intuitive to set up, so I didn't need a lot of outside assistance, which is part of why I love it. The platform helps me track everything and communicate effectively with others daily, making collaboration easier. I also appreciate that documents can be referenced in tasks and vice versa, along with the ability to mention and tag people. Ultimately, ClickUp has been amazing for managing my work as a solopreneur.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I'm trying to understand how to use the super agents, and I'm still struggling with that a little bit. I should have watched more videos on how to set things up originally. I just kind of did it on my own. I think maybe more use cases, especially for my situation as a solo founder, could be helpful. I would like if I could contact ClickUp through chat GPT more easily, without using a program like Make.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Given that I have a product based business (www.GiddyupGlove.com) and also a kids podcast (Giddyup Guide to the Galaxy: Mindfulness Stories for Kids), I am constantly doing many different things at the same time. ClickUp centralizes all my business details, preventing information scatter. It facilitates project sharing, task management, and documentation, making it easier to build, adapt, and collaborate. I can store product development details and tasks in one place, which keeps me organized.

 ### 2. ClickUp’s Flexible Structure Makes Complex Workflows Truly Manageable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago S. | Head de Produtos Digitais , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp offers a remarkable level of flexibility for teams that need to model complex workflows. The hierarchical structure of Spaces, Folders, and Lists — combined with custom fields and multiple views — makes it possible to build a real execution system, not just a to-do list. The ability to connect tasks across different contexts (like OKR tracking alongside operational work) is genuinely powerful once configured correctly. That said, it takes significant upfront investment to get the structure right, and multi-list tracking can still feel overwhelming in day-to-day use. For teams willing to put in that effort, the visibility and traceability it enables are hard to find elsewhere.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest frustration is that ClickUp's training materials are fragmented and siloed. They teach features in isolation — how to create a task, how to set up a view — but never show how to connect everything across an entire company. For teams trying to use ClickUp as a unified execution system (not just a personal task manager), this gap is significant. It's hard to onboard cross-functional teams and build a shared working culture when the official guidance doesn't address how different areas should collaborate, share visibility, or hand off work to each other. The learning curve ends up falling entirely on internal champions, which slows adoption and makes it difficult to get the whole organization aligned on a single system.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We adopted ClickUp with the goal of connecting strategic planning and operational execution in a single platform — centralizing OKR tracking, project workflows, and cross-functional visibility. The potential is clearly there, but we haven't fully realized those benefits yet. The main barrier has been the difficulty of getting the entire organization to work within the same system consistently. We're still in the process of building that discipline internally. The platform has the right capabilities for what we need; the challenge is bridging the gap between a well-designed structure and actual company-wide adoption.

 ### 3. Powerful Custom Workflows, But Performance Can Be Slow

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luca S. | Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung (german), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has many features that allow me to build my own productivity workflows with custom fields.

For example, we once built a workflow where we defined the bonus for each task in a custom variable, which then could easily be set and read for the payout.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is in most cases pretty slow when it comes to reacting to something or loading sites.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us organize tasks and projects in one central place, assign responsibilities clearly, and keep track of progress at any time. This reduces information getting lost in chats or emails, makes priorities clearer, and improves teamwork. It is especially useful for managing recurring tasks, deadlines, and project updates, which saves time and helps us react faster.

 ### 4. ClickUp Became the Backbone of Our Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Senior Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I've been using ClickUp for over 4 years now, and it's become the backbone of how I manage projects — whether it's my internal team, personal tasks, or client-facing work. Before ClickUp, the chaos was real. Tasks scattered across emails, spreadsheets, and chat threads. Now everything lives in one place, and my team knows exactly what's happening at every stage of a project.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Share the knowledge with my entire team, it's hard for them and keep everything updated

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone who runs full project methodology end-to-end, I rely heavily on ClickUp's flexibility — being able to switch between list, board, and Gantt views depending on whether I'm doing sprint planning, tracking deliverables, or presenting progress to a client is a game changer. The ability to have separate spaces for internal work and client collaboration without losing context is something I genuinely couldn't do without now.

 ### 5. ClickUp Keeps Everything Organized with Flexible Views and Powerful Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gowtham E. | Paid Marketing Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how everything is organized in one place without feeling too messy. It’s really flexible, so I can switch between list, board, or calendar views depending on what I need. I also like how easy it is to break tasks into smaller subtasks and keep track of progress.

Another thing I appreciate is the customization. I can adjust statuses, fields, and workflows to match how I actually work instead of forcing myself into a fixed system. Overall, it helps me stay organized and saves time by reducing the need to jump between multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that it can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many features and settings to explore. It takes some time to fully understand how everything works.

Also, the interface can occasionally feel a bit slow or cluttered, especially when working on larger projects with many tasks and views. This can slightly affect the overall user experience.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp offers a clean and modern UI, though it can feel slightly cluttered at times due to the number of features available. Once familiar, the UX becomes smooth, with flexible views like list, board, and calendar making navigation easier.

It integrates well with popular tools, which helps connect workflows without needing to constantly switch platforms. Performance is generally reliable, but there can be occasional slowdowns when handling large projects.

In terms of pricing, it provides strong value for money considering the wide range of features included. This makes it a good option for both individuals and teams looking to maximize ROI.

The onboarding process takes a bit of time because of the feature depth, but there are helpful resources available. Customer support is responsive and useful when needed.

The AI features are a nice addition, helping with task creation and content suggestions, though there is still room for improvement as they continue to evolve.

 ### 6. ClickUp Keeps Everything Organized in One Efficient Workspace

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Umer N. | Assistant Manager Software Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is how it brings everything together in a single workspace.

Before using it, managing tasks, tracking updates, and reviewing progress meant constantly switching between different tools and digging through messages to find what I needed. With ClickUp, I can see my priorities at a glance, communicate with my team, and keep everything organized in one place.

Overall, it has made my day-to-day workflow more structured, transparent, and efficient.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that some features can feel overly complex at first, particularly when you’re setting up workflows or trying to navigate the more advanced options.

I’ve also noticed that performance can slow down a bit at times, especially when working with a large number of tasks or during periods of heavy activity.

That said, once everything is configured properly, it becomes a very powerful tool and really helps streamline my day-to-day work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of scattered work and limited visibility across tasks and updates.

Before, managing tickets and tracking progress meant jumping between multiple tools, messages, and documents. That made it easy to miss important updates or lose context along the way. With ClickUp, everything is centralized—tasks, comments, priorities, and statuses—so I can quickly see what needs attention and where things stand.

For me, this saves time, improves organization, and helps me respond to issues faster, while keeping my workflow more structured and efficient overall.

 ### 7. ClickUp: everything organized in one place, with flexible views and great customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver P. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that I can have everything organized in one place. I used to use several tools for tasks, notes, and project tracking, but with ClickUp I can manage everything from a single platform.

What I find most useful are the different views (list, board, and calendar), because they allow me to adapt the way I work according to the project. I also like being able to create tasks, set deadlines, and track progress in a very visual way.

Among the main advantages, I would highlight the customization, the ease of collaborating with others, and the large number of features it includes without the need to constantly switch applications. Overall, it has helped me stay more organized and have a better overview of my projects and tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I like least about ClickUp is that at first it can feel a bit overwhelming due to the large number of features and customization options it has. The learning curve is higher compared to other simpler task management tools.

I have also noticed that, in some large projects, the platform can feel a bit slow or take time to load certain views. Additionally, some advanced features are limited to paid plans, so you can't always take full advantage of the tool's potential in the free version.

Overall, these are minor details, but I think simplifying the experience for new users and improving performance in some cases would make the platform even better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps solve organization and project tracking problems. It used to be easy to lose tasks, have information scattered across different tools, or not know what stage each project was in. With ClickUp, all the work is centralized, making it easier to plan, assign responsibilities, and track progress.

At the business level, it improves communication between teams, reduces the possibility of forgetting important tasks, and allows for greater visibility over deadlines and priorities. This translates into better coordination, more productivity, and faster decision-making because all the project information is available in one place.

 ### 8. A Powerful All-in-One Student Hub That Transformed My Semester

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As a student who relies heavily on AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Notion to survive my courseload and research work discovering ClickUp felt like stumbling into a powerhouse upgrade. I haven't even scraped the bottom of what it can do yet, but just using it at a medium level has completely changed how I manage my semester. The UI was honestly super intimidating at first, there are so many layers of spaces, folders, and lists that it felt like overkill for just tracking homework, also i love the gradient theme. But once I got past that initial learning curve, the flexibility blew me away. I Haven't yet explored deep integration with other services in ClickUp, but I know that'll be super good too. Performance-based, it’s snappy enough for my needs, and the price point is a total steal since the Free Forever plan gives you so much without forcing a broke college kid to upgrade. What really sold me, though, was playing around with ClickUp Brain. Since I'm already used to AI, having an assistant built right into my actual task list that can instantly summarize my lecture notes or search across my connected Google Docs saves me from constantly app-hopping, as i have seen on youtube. Onboarding myself was definitely a trial-by-error process since their free tier support relies mostly on a basic chatbot, but as a student workspace, it’s easily the best all-in-one hub I’ve tried so far.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

honestly its ClickUp's visual clutter and steep learning curve. Because it tries to do absolutely everything, the interface is constantly crowded with endless menus, sub-menus, and toggles that feel completely overwhelming to new users. as an AI student myself, i was confused too, initially. If you don't enforce strict rules on how to organize your spaces and lists, it may turn into a confusing, chaotic mess.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves my biggest problem, app fatigue from constantly switching between different tools. Instead of scattering my life across Google Calendar for deadlines, Notion for lecture notes, and ChatGPT, Gemini and claude for studying, ClickUp puts everything into a single hub. This saves me massive amounts of time and keeps me organized, especially because ClickUp Brain has direct access to my actual workspace, it can instantly search my notes or summarize assignment outlines based on my actual syllabus. though there is so much more to explore yet.

 ### 9. Flexible, Data-Driven, but Complex Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how ClickUp serves as the brain of knowledge for my company. It's super flexible, which means we can customize it to our liking. It's great that it brings data from QuickBooks Online and our proposal software, providing easy-to-view metrics. I also appreciate how it functions as our project coordination software, keeping every proposal and project moving forward. The ease of integrating LLMs with ClickUp is fantastic, as my Claude code pulls from it and pushes to it regularly. ClickUp's flexibility and integration with tools like Claude desktop help automate updates and comments, so even if I forget to open ClickUp, it keeps up with everything I'm doing and ensures it's following my workflow.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think we missed a step in the setup so I have a feeling that our use is a little too complex than needed. (our fault not ClickUp) A Quickbooks connector would be great if you have one. The initial setup was rough, and I don't think we used templates so it was a lot.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes company knowledge, integrates data for easy viewing, and coordinates projects. It tackles knowledge sprawl and task management, automates client emails, and posts comments automatically using Claude, maintaining project updates effortlessly.

 ### 10. Absolute control of projects with clear hierarchy and workload view

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harold C. | Dev, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like the most is the hierarchy of the platform: Spaces, Folders, Lists. Combined with the workload view, in my team we manage dozens of projects simultaneously and before it was impossible to know who was overwhelmed with tasks and who had free time, now we have absolute control.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it is expected that changes from another team member are reflected in real time, and it is not always the case. Sometimes you have to reload the page to see the changes in the view.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the waste of hours on repetitive, periodic manual tasks and the lack of clarity in the deadlines of interdependent projects. Before the tool, the team spent too much time organizing the work instead of executing it.

 ### 11. Flexible and Evolving Task Management Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** NAJWA SHEMSUDIN W. | Unemployed

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to organize my tasks, manage projects, and keep track of deadlines as a medical student. It helps me plan everything in one place, create to-do lists, set due dates, and monitor my progress, which keeps me organized and on top of my schedule. What stands out to me most is how flexible ClickUp is; I can adapt it to different types of work, making my workflow smooth and efficient. I also appreciate how frequently ClickUp introduces new improvements and features, making it feel like a tool that's constantly getting better. The Tasks, Calendar, and Reminders features help me stay on top of things, and the clean interface ensures I find what I need quickly without wasting time. The initial setup was straightforward, and customizing my workspace as I explored more features became easy. I sometimes use ClickUp with Google Calendar and Google Drive, and it fits well into my workflow by keeping my schedule and documents connected with my tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only thing I would improve is the learning curve. Since ClickUp offers so many features, it can take new users a little time to discover and get comfortable with everything. A simpler onboarding experience would make it even better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize tasks, manage projects, and track deadlines. It keeps everything in one place, helps prioritize tasks, and reduces stress from juggling multiple responsibilities. It allows me to plan my work efficiently.

 ### 12. Perfect Management in One Place, but with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raúl N. | Coordinador de planificación, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like about ClickUp is that it groups most things in one place, which is extremely useful as a planning coordinator. It allows me to assign tasks, set goals, and track pending items in real time. Additionally, I highly value the different views of the projects, as they facilitate the use of data and information for both operational tracking and business presentations. These views make the information more digestible for most people.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I believe that what could be improved is that, because the platform has many uses and many options, it can be confusing for some people who are not used to using this type of tool. In other words, the learning curve can be very slow for many new users.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for task tracking, which makes it easier for my team and me to keep track of pending tasks. I like that it groups everything in one place, allowing us to assign tasks, set goals, and track progress in real time.

 ### 13. Versatile Tool for Organizing Business and Personal Projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate ClickUp for helping organize both my work and personal projects, which is crucial given my multiple roles in our kitchen and bath business and managing a busy home life. I find the AI features extremely helpful in setting up my workspace in a way that aligns with my various projects without needing to watch countless tutorials. The ability to ask AI to set up automations greatly reduces the tasks I have to manage manually. Additionally, syncing ClickUp with our Gmail is a great feature as it allows us to respond to clients directly from within ClickUp and automatically pulls to-do items into my task lists.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I didn't realize that there are templates for a lot of different things when I first went to set up my workspace. I wish I would have known that from the beginning. If I had seen some of the templates before I set up my own workspace I may have done things slightly differently.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps organize my work and personal projects, keeps tasks prioritized, and ensures deadlines aren't missed. The AI features and automations are a huge help in efficiently setting up my workspace. Integrating Gmail streamlines client communication by pulling to-dos into my task lists.

 ### 14. One Platform for Efficient Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankita P. | Business Development Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to organize and manage my work in one place. I like its flexibility and all-in-one workspace. The customizable views help me organize tasks the way I prefer, and automation saves time by handling repetitive work. The task management features make it easy to track progress, assign responsibilities, and meet deadlines. I also appreciate how it brings together task management, documentation, collaboration, and time tracking in a single workspace. Integrating with Slack, Google Drive, and Zoom makes it easier to communicate, share files, and manage projects without switching between multiple apps. Overall, ClickUp simplifies our project management and improves team collaboration and productivity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has a bit of a learning curve because of its features. Sometimes the interface can feel overwhelming, and the mobile app could be smoother and faster for tasks on the go.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage projects and tasks in one place, improving team communication and productivity by reducing tool-switching. It offers task management, documentation, collaboration, and time tracking, ensuring deadlines are met through automation and reminders.

 ### 15. Flexible All-in-One Workspace That Keeps Teams Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael A. | Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is its high flexibility: workflows, views, and tasks can be customized to fit almost any use case. I also appreciate that ClickUp consolidates project management, documents, and collaboration in one place. This helps keep everything organized and makes teamwork overall very efficient. The support is always available and the price is justified.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One downside of ClickUp is that it can feel overwhelming at first, mainly because there are so many features and customization options to explore, navigate, and set up. In addition, performance can occasionally slow down in larger workspaces, especially when there’s a lot of data to load and manage. That can make the overall experience feel less smooth at times, even if everything is configured correctly.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp tackles the problem of tasks, docs, and communication being scattered across multiple tools by bringing everything together in one place. This helps me stay better organized, collaborate more smoothly with my team, and save time by keeping my workflows clear and streamlined.

 ### 16. ClickUp: Easy to Use, Great Integrations, and an Awesome AI Feature

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** sunny s. | Chief Digital Officer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

the click up is easy to use and understand the features. it is support different the integration. overall the performance is moderate only sometime do not save the changes I have made. Pricing wise is reasonable compare to other similar tools. when come to support, it was a bit slow in replying email. Ai function is awesome.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

the mobile interface is really not good. Most of the function in web base is not workable on mobile. the calculation metrics is kindergarten level, unable to have complex calculation. shall increase the card functionality in dashboard as project management is not focusing on budgeting. it is what clickup really lack of and should look into it seriously. Clickup unable ot visualise all the process in one big picture, suggest can refer to Meegle software which invented by bydance. It node driven process is amazing.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

 ### 17. Comprehensive Project Management with Some Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shoaib S. | People and Culture Officer, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like that with ClickUp, I don't have to jump between different applications to keep track of projects and tasks. Everything is integrated, and all my information from different tools flows straight into ClickUp. Having my project timeline, meeting notes, and brainstorming sessions all in one place is a big plus for me. The historical view is handy too since I can easily refer back to past work without any hassle. I appreciate the effort they've put into recent updates to make ClickUp feel lighter and more responsive. It's especially nice that they take user feedback seriously and work towards improving the user experience based on that feedback. Integration for Outlook, Google Drive is also available

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I mean, there's a learning curve, basically, to get yourself up to speed. I wouldn't say it's very easy for everybody to just pick up and start using ClickUp because it could be a bit daunting and overwhelming at first. The notification management, I'm not a big fan of. But, it doesn't affect my work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management, streamlining coordination across tasks and divisions. It helps manage my workload, prioritize tasks, and integrates everything in one place, reducing app juggling and enhancing historical tracking.

 ### 18. ClickUp Keeps Our Team Focused and On Track

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maureen W. | Associate Director of Marketing and Public Relations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp helps my team stay on track with all our projects. As project manager, I am able to see the current status and all relevant information about a project to communicate with my clients. We use it to run our weekly team meetings and it keeps us focused and informed.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There's too much unhelpful AI integration. It cannot replace the work that our project managers do, but it constantly prompts us to use it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to have a smooth workflow from project requests to notifications to updates and completion. We never have to leave the platform and we have all the information available, organized, and at our fingertips.

 ### 19. ClickUp’s Flexible All-in-One Platform Boosts Team Productivity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carlos M. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is a versatile project management tool that stands out for its flexibility and wide range of features. It lets teams tailor workflows, track tasks, and collaborate smoothly, which makes it a good fit for many different industries. Many users value its all-in-one approach, bringing task management, document sharing, and goal tracking together in a single platform.

The interface feels intuitive and helps reduce the learning curve, and its integrations with numerous other tools further expand what you can do with it. That said, some users mention that the sheer number of features can feel overwhelming at first. Overall, ClickUp is a solid option for teams that want to boost productivity and streamline their project management processes.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Honestly, there’s nothing I dislike about ClickUp. The only downside for me is that it isn’t available on mobile.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, it offers multiple tool options, so I don’t need any other outside apps or tools. It’s basically a multitool.

 ### 20. One tool to rule them all...or some of them anyways.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georgian B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the fact that they keep improving, but a lot of focus has moved towards AI, like everywhere else.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Please stop removing features from the free tier as a selling point for the other tiers. The UI improved, but there are still a ton of things to see at a glance, which feels overwhelming. Ability to easily hide unused features/buttons/options would be great.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's easy to set up tasks and "categories" them through folders, colors, views, and statuses. When I first started using ClickUp I was missing the ability to have a good overview (where every task was looking almost the same and was hard to distinguish). Now I can do it via ClickUp dashboards, custom spaces/folder views and colors where needed.

**Official Response from Jessica Surita:**

> Hey Georgian! Thanks so much for the review. We really appreciate the feedback! 😊

We also love hearing ideas for improvements from our users & we'd love for you to share any suggestions you have to help with onboarding and overwhelming data on our feedback boards! Our Product team reviews every post and that's truly the best way for your ideas to be considered!🌟

 ### 21. Manage Technology Projects Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yeferson P. | Coordinador de tecnología, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp integrates many things into a single space, which allows me to have a calendar and a space to plan and organize tasks. I can keep track of activities and tasks in such a way that I know the status of each one, I can tag them and export real-time reports on how we are doing in terms of user support. This allows me to have statistical data and make decisions to improve both at the level of our area and workflow and in the service towards our clients. Additionally, it is initially very intuitive, considering that it has many templates to adapt it to the specific application of our organization or work team, which makes it, in general terms, very easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The topic of artificial intelligence applied to some tasks could be improved.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to prioritize and organize tasks, measure customer attention, and take notes in meetings with Notaker AI. It automates workflows, centralizes the calendar and planning, allows exporting real-time reports for informed decisions and service improvement.

 ### 22. Simple, Straightforward, and Easy to Customize

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Leisure, Travel & Tourism | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Once you get into it and start customizing it to your needs and wants, it is actually very simple and straightforward to use. I may only use it at the forever free pricing capacity between myself and my manager, but we both enjoy the easy of use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The ability to test certain features for a limited time, then have a pay wall come up when you're used the maximum test ability can be a bit annoying. My main irritation with it is the fact that I was using a feature I didn't know was a paid for feature until I was told I could no longer use it. Sometimes switching between workspaces can be a bit slow.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Right now this is a simpler and more straightforward task management program for myself and my manager. It allows me to create the equivalent of 'support' tickets we receive in office somewhere we can both track and update when we make progress on them. Clickup also just allows us to consolidate all the feedback we receive regarding topics when multiple people reach out to us individually.

 ### 23. All-In-One Project Management Powerhouse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** shnz h. | Graphic Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp allows me to manage multiple projects simultaneously without feeling overwhelmed. I appreciate being able to message and respond at my own convenience. I also value that ClickUp merges different functions like chat, automation, management, and tracking calendars under one platform, making it an invaluable tool in my daily life. Plus, with my background in project management, the onboarding process has been pretty smooth.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I worked with the agent and Brain2, and I feel it's not able to think in a critical way. Since Brain 2 already builds context for the entire team, it could suggest replies and also suggest some ideas. For instance, when a new person is onboarded on ClickUp and has less idea about it, Brain 2 should guide them since they're not sure about templates and lists.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp organizes tasks with the right people, tracks work progress easily, and allows me to manage multiple projects without feeling overwhelmed. It's valuable for merging apps into one platform, handling everything from chat to automation.

 ### 24. Integrations work very well and AI in support helps in day-to-day activities.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hugo M. | Gerente de sucesso do cliente, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The interface is still a bit cluttered, but I can organize it well to maintain my focus. The integrations I have been using so far have worked very well, only the Google calendar doesn't sync well with the task it's linked to. I don't have performance issues, only rarely does the system take a while to respond. The support is still somewhat lacking because I need to express myself in English, but the AI in support works in a way that meets my needs. The biggest problem for me is really the price, everything is very expensive and sometimes I need a function that is in another plan, just one specific function, and I would have to subscribe to a more expensive plan just to get something I need. They should make a comparison and align with the reality of Brazil to offer a more affordable price and encourage more people to subscribe here in our country.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

As mentioned earlier, the price is very high here in Brazil. And another thing is the use of AI, you need to add credits if you want to have a routine of using AI, which has become almost a necessity if you want to be more objective and quick within the system.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In general, for organization and my daily routine, I centralize everything in ClickUp, and with AI, it has greatly improved in helping me be more precise with priorities.

 ### 25. Feature-Rich but Overwhelming for Newbies

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hameed E. | QA, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp for tracking and managing my projects. It has so many tools that let me work with multiple tasks efficiently. As a tester, I find it flexible for work like test cases and identifying bugs. I enjoy the reusable templates, which mean I don't have to start from scratch every time; I can simply reuse my old templates. This makes tracking bugs in test cases clear, and I can avoid redoing work. The initial setup was really easy and user-friendly, which I appreciate.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I spend too much time learning the tools. There are too many features at once, and I can't focus on one thing. This gets confusing, especially as a beginner, and I struggled with that issue.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find ClickUp useful for tracking and managing projects. It offers many tools that help multitask. I love the reusable templates for clear bug tracking in test cases without starting from scratch.

 ### 26. Reclaim Your most valuable asset "Time", Direct Your Growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aus A. | Core Network Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2023

Experience a platform that grows with you. ClickUp's continuous software development and flexible design mean it can be tailored to any team's specific needs and project management style. Whether you need a simple tool for managing daily tasks or a powerful, ERP-like system to run your entire operation, ClickUp provides the foundation for you to build upon. very easily integrated with SaaS services and you can build a very powerful and flexible business system with ClickUp being at the core of it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has a steep learning curve, and it takes some effort to get comfortable with it at first. Still, once you get the hang of how it works, it’s worth the time and effort.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most critical benefit ClickUp delivers is two fold: it gives you back your most valuable resource (time) while providing the clarity needed to steer your business with intention. By automating routine tasks and centralizing communication, it frees up countless hours for both you and your employees. This reclaimed time, combined with unparalleled visibility into every project's progress, allows you to move from reactive problem-solving to proactive, strategic growth, ensuring your team's daily efforts are always aligned with your long-term vision.

 ### 27. Effortless Task Management and Strategic Tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor K. | Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2022

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for tracking everything from personal life tasks to strategic business tracking, project tracking, and pipeline management. It makes me feel in control of my life because I can always know what's important and what's not, giving me peace of mind. I really like the goals tool that helps me track whether I'm on track or not. With their AI agents, I'm excited to implement automation into my workflows, which frees up my time by handling many admin-related tasks. The initial setup was very easy and intuitive, and I'm impressed with the ClickUp UX team. When my team switched from Trello to ClickUp, it was because ClickUp could track our strategy and link all work to it, and we never looked back.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Implementing these things as a pre-seed start-up founder is difficult because I have to learn the tool to enable it to achieve my outcome. If there were templates and AI agent skills that could localize those templates for my specific use case, such as what Claude skills can do, then it would make it easier for me to implement these things.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me prioritize and stay in control of my life, reducing overwhelm. The goals tool keeps my business on track, and AI features automate admin tasks, freeing up my time.

**Official Response from Shanee Shepardson:**

> Hey, there!

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such an amazing review!

We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying a productivity boost with ClickUp!

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all!

 ### 28. Versatile Tool with Some AI Limitations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blakes . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp because it helps organize tasks by having everything in one place, like documents, the company wiki, tasks, and time tracking. I appreciate the availability of various tools and the AI system that integrates automations and agents, making things easier. The time tracking feature is particularly valuable as it helps track how long each team member worked, which aids in understanding team bottlenecks. Additionally, ClickUp allows for a more organized space with multiple functions, including team lists and native tools, which I find preferable to Trello.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the AI tool itself has limitations. It can't create folders or spaces, nor delete some things. It should be possible to give it permissions to do custom things. Also, the initial setup of ClickUp was quite difficult.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp organizes my tasks, makes it easier to know deadlines, and keeps everything in one place like documents, company wiki, tasks, and time tracking.

 ### 29. Effortlessly Organizes Tasks Across Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to organize my tasks across work with 4 different teams and spaces, and my college work. ClickUp helps me keep all of my tasks organized, set priorities, and send out reports to responsible teams when updates are needed. I like how easy it is to connect all of my apps and systems together, so I don't have to jump between 8 different systems to see what's going on. I also like the ease of use when it comes to sharing information across teams. The system is helpful because I can ask ClickUp to look at a meeting in one space and tell me how the information is related to operations in a second space and even determine if there are any items between the spaces that will prevent tasks from moving forward. Initial setup was super simple; once all of the needed services were connected, everything began to fall in line.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only downside I have seen is that while it is in progress there isn't a native in-person meeting component, meaning it can only record and notate online meetings through Zoom or Teams.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize tasks for multiple teams and my college work. It keeps everything organized, helps set priorities, and sends reports to teams. It's easy to integrate apps, eliminating the need to switch systems and facilitating information sharing across teams.

 ### 30. Streamlined Project Management with ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz R. | Web Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the easy color-coding of timelines for all phases of our projects, and the real-time updates for statuses and assignees in ClickUp. We heavily rely on List and Timeline views, which have replaced the manual tracking we used to do in Google Sheets. Now, our whole team can adjust tasks as needed, notify the correct managers, and keep everything in one place for a project.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Being able to adjust subtask dates in bulk from the Timeline view would be amazing. Our projects are several months long with dozens of little subtasks and if the timeline is delayed one week, it's very time-consuming to move every single task manually. I'd love to be able to batch select and move, then tweak after that as needed.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps manage project phases and tasks across teams, providing client-facing materials and real-time updates. It replaces manual tracking, allowing my team to keep everything in one place, with easy task adjustments and notification management. We rely on List and Timeline views.

 ### 31. Flexible and Customizable, but Too Buggy and Slow to Rely On

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like Clickup’s flexibility and customizability.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't like how buggy it often is. Backend architecture could be improved because I noticed I am spamming the ClickUp API when I try to copy and paste whiteboards into a new board for our next PI (as one example). In general though it often takes too long to load or is sending me errors when switching between tabs or screens.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use clickup as our project management tool and I personally have found the most benefit from the whiteboarding tool for PI planning and from the ability to generate custom filtering / groups and custom dashboards. That said, I wish you could create a "template" of dashboards for example that could then be dropped into place in any new sprint list that is made. It would also be nice to have a particular view saved as the default view and have this automatically apply to all lists generated in a particular folder for example. In essence, I want the customizability to create the best "operating model" for our company while also making it simple to copy and paste that model into new sprints.

 ### 32. Flexible Platform, Great for Customization but Needs GUI Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephane M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the fact that we can implement and do things how we want, especially when it comes to formatting and presentation. I also appreciate that it's accessible via API, allowing me to connect what I want, especially if I'm using AI or something else. Using ClickUp as a CRM and conducting tasks is straightforward, and I can integrate other applications to follow up on certain things. The initial setup was easy because I'm used to a Kanban board type of thing, and ClickUp makes it all work smoothly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Something about the GUI sometimes, I do something and then I need to go and redo it maybe a month later. It's not intuitive. I need to check. I even have to go sometimes on YouTube to find videos on how to do it. I just don't remember. But again, maybe make some stuff a bit more intuitive there. And also lower the prices. Price is WAY too high.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp allows me to connect with AI or other applications for tasks. It's flexible for personal and professional use, and the API lets me implement things however I want.

 ### 33. Easy to learn and implement, easy to share Gantt with Customers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leo W. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is easy to learn and sets up a structure to help keep things organized and ensure we don't forget to do important tasks.
ClickUp helps me as a manager better understand the load my engineers are carrying AND how much they are accomplishing.
ClickUp has more tools and flexibility than Microsoft Project, which is what I used to use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

At the moment I can't think of anything I'd ask them to change, I thought of 2 things, but then I figured I better go ensure ClickUp actually can't do these things first, and they've added functionality with their Hubspot integration so I can't complain about that now and the other thing I just didn't realize I can do.

**Recommendations to others considering ClickUp:**

Look through the templates, but understand that's far from the only way to use it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Makes it easy for me to give my customers updates.
Makes it easier for me as the Engineering Manager to track who is doing what, what has been done and what hasn't.

 ### 34. Streamlined Team Collaboration with Room for Speed Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Virlyn B. | General Virtual Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how ClickUp has become our central hub for managing projects, assigning tasks, tracking deadlines, and keeping everyone aligned across departments and brands. It helps improve our team’s productivity, accountability, and overall organization. I appreciate that it keeps everything organized in one place, making it easy to assign tasks, track progress, collaborate with the team, and stay on top of deadlines. Task assignment is clear and ensures everyone knows what they're responsible for, and the collaboration features let us share updates, leave comments, and track progress seamlessly. The setup was straightforward, and we could quickly organize tasks and invite team members.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp can occasionally feel slow when loading large projects. It can be slow when loading large workspaces or switching between views, especially when managing multiple projects. Improving the platform’s speed and overall responsiveness would make day-to-day work smoother.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp as a central hub to manage projects, assign tasks, and keep teams aligned. It improves productivity, accountability, and organization by keeping tasks, deadlines, and progress in one place, enhancing collaboration across departments and brands.

Its flexibility lets me customize the workflow to fit my needs, making my work more organized and efficient.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp can feel overwhelming due to its many features, and the interface can be a bit complex for new users.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage daily tasks, track team performance, and organize projects. It solves issues like scattered tasks, missed deadlines, and lack of team visibility, making it easier to track progress and accountability, while its flexibility lets me customize workflows.

 ### 36. ClickUp Makes Daily Work Organization Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizzy T. | Technologist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 20, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

There’s so much you can do with it, and it really can be used in whatever way you work. It makes organizing my work for the day feel easy and straightforward.

I can clearly separate different types of work and systems, which keeps everything organized and makes things easy to find later.

I also love the integration with Slack. Urgent support items alert us in Slack, which helps ensure nothing gets missed.

Whenever I need help, support is consistently a pleasant experience. They respond quickly and help get the issue resolved.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There isn’t really anything I dislike about ClickUp.

That said, I have run into some performance issues when too many people are working on the same task at once. I also notice my dashboard can get a bit slow as it becomes more complex or as more tasks are added to it.

Overall, the performance is still pretty good, and these issues aren’t enough to make me move away from ClickUp, but they can definitely be annoying.

It’s especially frustrating when a task gets completely overwritten because too many people are editing it at the same time.
We use some tasks as meeting agendas as it's a great central point to take notes and send follow up emails to clients so it does suck when those get laggy because too many of us are on it trying to take notes.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How we organize work across many clients.

How we organize documentation.

How we track our work and what was done.

It makes it really easy to search for and find past work, or similar work being done for different clients.

It greatly increases my productivity and organization. As someone with ADHD, being able to bucket my tasks and organize them in ways that work with my brain has made work so much easier in ClickUp. I’m not just working down a list and being reactive; I can see what’s important, plan my days, and easily make sure I’m working on the right things. It takes away the analysis paralysis.

 ### 37. Central Multipurpose Hub for Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Randi S. | Co-Founder & Solutions Architect:, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the flexibility of ClickUp's views and custom fields, which allows me to adapt the views according to the projects. The custom fields are useful for adding specific data like client assignment and time billing confirmation. Moreover, the API is very handy for interconnecting our tools and automating the ticket pipeline between multiple tools and agents.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The application's performance can be slow in large spaces or during certain times of the day. The search is sometimes imprecise when searching across multiple spaces. The built-in automation lacks flexibility for more complex workflows.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes project tracking, coordinates work between developers, and ensures traceability of tickets and deployments. The flexibility of views and custom fields allows adaptation to projects. The API automates the flow between tools.

 ### 38. Intuitive Organization and Complete Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Guilherme T. | Analista de QA, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the way ClickUp centralizes all the information of a task in one place, allowing you to view the task description, track comments, attach files, consult the change history, and check the progress of the activity without needing to resort to other tools. This facilitates communication among the team, prevents information loss, and allows tracking of what has already been developed. Additionally, the organization by status, priorities, and responsibilities is very useful for planning. Switching to ClickUp brought a more complete experience for the team, with more intuitive organization, greater flexibility in task creation and planning, and a clearer view of projects. The platform also offers an intuitive structure that facilitated adaptation to the ERP development process.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I have nothing to complain about. The tool is amazing.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes team demands, records bugs, and sets priorities, preventing information loss and forgetfulness. It facilitates communication and organization by status and priorities, improving task planning and tracking.

 ### 39. Everything in one place: tasks, times, and documents on the same board

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Camilo Andres V. | Documentación, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What intrigues me the most is that everything is in one place. Before, work was a terrible mess: Lost emails. Chats mixed up on WhatsApp. Files scattered in Drive. Now I put tasks, times, and documents on the same board.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What drives me crazy is that sometimes it gets extremely annoying. When the platform freezes, it causes a frustration like no other: It loads slowly when opening large boards. The mobile app is very buggy. It has too many options and is overwhelming at first.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp took away the headache of constantly putting out fires and organized the chaos in the office. It solves three tough problems for me daily: The disarray of tools: I no longer have to jump from tab to tab. The lack of clarity: Everyone knows what to do without so many pointless meetings.

 ### 40. Automation Benefits with Speed Hiccups

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Outmane R. | Customer support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

I use ClickUp as a workspace on my desktop for daily tasks. It reduces my daily workload activities. I really like the automation feature; it helps me save time and eliminate repetitive tasks in my current role as a freelancer. I can easily track and follow up with different conversations and customers. The initial setup of ClickUp was smooth and practical.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the speed of the platform must be improved and it can be better to manage multiple tasks at the same time. In terms of workflow efficiency it feels a little bit slow and requires more responsiveness and speed. For instance, when handling multiple tasks and navigating the platform.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to reduce my daily workload, saving time by eliminating repetitive tasks. Its automation helps me track and follow up with conversations and customers efficiently.

 ### 41. Streamlined Portfolio Management with Customization Power

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorenzo L. | Project Manager, Sporting Goods, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I am a Program Manager and love how ClickUp helps me manage the business portfolio and keep myself organized. The customization is above other applications; it allows me to remove repetitive tasks and save time. I find the easiness to enable native apps to boost our setup perfect for me and my team. Unlike other applications where you need to have an agent to enable it, which I hate, ClickUp does not require that. The reporting feature is also excellent since I can create dashboards without any programming code, just picking my card and adjusting, that's it! The initial setup was super easy, which made the transition seamless. Overall, I highly appreciate the way ClickUp solves communication issues and reduces duplicated work, making reporting easy to executive levels.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Gantt views need improvement

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves communication issues and reduces double work. Customization helps remove repetitive tasks, saving time. Reporting features make it easy to create executive-level dashboards without programming.

 ### 42. Changing your routine with ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre P. | Desenvolvedor de software, Program Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like the Dashboard and the custom tags in ClickUp. With the Dashboard, I can enter the tasks that were rejected and what is about to go into production. The custom tags allow me to organize the modules, devs, and other important information. Furthermore, the initial setup of ClickUp was very smooth.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The dashboard needs a timeline and the ability to integrate my own dashboard within an organization dashboard with the main information.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize development tasks, improving the flow and bug adjustments with my team. The Dashboard allows me to manage rejected tasks and what is in production, while the custom tags help categorize modules and devs.

 ### 43. ClickUp Simplifies Project Management with Tutorials and an All-in-One Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony D. | Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I have been using ClickUp for over a year, and when I started, the UI was overwhelming; the software does so many things. But I love the fact that the folks at ClickUp have gone to length to simplify the UI and add a bunch of tutorials that teaches "not too tech savvy" users like myself how to effectively utilize the software. I like that I'm able to seamlessly set up projects and edit each step on the fly and invite others to do so as well. I like that I'm able to work with someone I'm collaborating with on developing an idea within the software. And I like that everything that I ned to do business-wise is on one platform and a click away.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There isn't anything to dislike about ClickUp. Because of the software's effectiveness in compiling, organizing, and managing data in a lucid and objective way, a lot of computing is involved in achieving that goal. But the user has to know what to do and how to impute the necessary data to get the desired result. And that process takes some time to become familiar with. So, in essence, you get out of the software what you put into it. If time is invested in fully learning how to effectively navigate the software, the outcome will not be disappointing.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I, like most people vying in a highly competitive technological world, tend to have too many apps that perform different functions, sometimes with some apps doing the same thing. For example, I am currently using multiple money management app until I'm able to find one that combines all the features that I want. In ClickUp's case, pretty much everything you need to achieve efficiency, whether in business or in your personal life, is available on the software. And from the looks of things, the ClickUp team obviously have innovation as their number one priority because the software keeps improving with the rapid technological changes that are taking place.

 ### 44. Intuitive Yet Buggy: ClickUp's Balance of Usability and Needs

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simon T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp is fairly easy to use. It's pretty quick, and you can upload as many files as you want. We can share files, share tasks, have a form for clients, and do pretty much everything. It's pretty usable, and you can connect it with anything you want. You can also automate stuff if you want to. The initial setup was pretty basic and easy, and there are great tutorials online for more advanced features. ClickUp is very good for starting out, especially with the free version since it has a lot of stuff to use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Yeah. So the app generally is very buggy. And there are some things that just doesn't make sense in the app. And then my partner, he doesn't like that in the inbox flow. It's different, it's a different order. When you expand the task, and then it's a different order of things. But these minor things, it's more that the app is has some bugs. That's bad.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to keep every project on track and ensure nothing is forgotten.

 ### 45. Streamlined Our Project Management But Needs Smoother Mobile App

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nandan H. | Software Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for project management and task tracking across my team and I find the custom views particularly great. I switch between list and board views depending on what I'm working on, and it allows everyone to look at the work in a way that makes sense for them. Our developers prefer the board view, while I usually stick to the list. The dependencies feature has been super helpful for our team as it stops a lot of blockers by showing exactly what needs to be done before moving on to the next task. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, and everyone felt used to it within a few days.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is kind of steep when you first start. There's so many options it can feel overwhelming, also the mobile app isn't as smooth as the desktop version, I mostly avoid it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes our project management, resolving scattered workflows and saving time by reducing miscommunication. It enables us to manage sprints, assign tasks, set deadlines, and track progress efficiently.

 ### 46. Great overdue tracking, but recurring tasks jump ahead unexpectedly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alona R. | Local Listings & Google Business Profile Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I can easily what's overdue, today and in the future and also time worked with the side bars.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I am not sure if until now it is my issue because I haven't done this this month and last april. When I try to click the status complete, my task is recurring every 2 months. I set it when I click complete it should go to the next 2 months, but instead it goes to more than 2 months. not sure if that is because I have more than one recurring same task that I did at that day. So it's like adding more and more 2 months something like that.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have issue receiving notification that is not intended for any of us. But I think that's is automatic before or set up before. But now it has been figured.

 ### 47. Radical flexibility to organize and follow up on any project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luisa V. | Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It has radical flexibility in the way spaces, folders, lists, and tasks can be created, making it very suitable for managing and tracking any type of project.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes there is slowness when the volume of information and load is growing, the dashboard does not filter properly, and the lag is noticeable when moving.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the problem of identifying bottlenecks and downtime in each project for us. We never managed to detect who and when had difficulties with delivery times until we got ClickUp to solve the problem for us with time tracking and the change of states in each task.

 ### 48. Complete organization for growing teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is the flexibility to organize different types of work in one place. In my daily use, I can track tasks, deadlines, assignees, priorities, and project statuses without needing to switch between various tools, which makes the routine more organized and significantly reduces information loss.

The different views, such as list, board, calendar, and Gantt, are very helpful because they allow you to adapt the tracking according to the type of demand. For operational tasks, I use the list view to track details and priorities. For workflows with well-defined stages, the board makes it easier to visualize the progress of each activity. The calendar is useful for controlling deliveries, meetings, and important deadlines.

I also like the automations and integrations, as they help reduce repetitive tasks and make the workflow more efficient. For example, it's possible to automate status changes, notifications, and assignments, avoiding rework and ensuring the team receives updates at the right time.

Another positive point is collaboration. ClickUp centralizes comments, files, updates, and task history, which facilitates communication among team members. This helps keep everyone aligned, avoids scattered conversations across different channels, and makes it easier to understand the context of each activity, even when someone joins the project later.

Additionally, I find the platform very useful for tracking productivity and progress. The dashboards, filters, custom fields, and reports provide a clear view of what is in progress, what is delayed, and what needs attention. This aids in decision-making and improves team planning.

Overall, ClickUp adds value because it combines organization, collaboration, automation, and results tracking in a single platform. For me, it improves workflow, saves time, and makes project management more transparent and efficient.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main area for improvement in ClickUp is that some more advanced features may require more setup time initially, especially automations, integrations, custom fields, permissions, and more specific views. For new users or teams migrating from simpler tools, this learning curve can be a bit steep because there are many options and it's not always clear what the best way to structure the workspace is.

I also noticed that, at times, the app can experience slowness or instability, especially when there are many data, tasks, documents, dashboards, or views loaded. In these situations, the web version tends to work better, but even so, the performance could be more consistent, especially for teams that rely on the tool throughout the day.

Another area that could improve is the onboarding process. Although ClickUp offers plenty of documentation and help resources, it would be useful to have more practical guidance within the platform itself, with ready-made examples by team type or workflow. This would help new users understand more quickly how to set up automations, dashboards, templates, and integrations without relying so much on trial and error.

Regarding the price, ClickUp delivers a lot of value for the set of features, but some more advanced functionalities are concentrated in paid plans or require more careful setup to really generate returns. For smaller teams, it may be necessary to carefully evaluate which features will be used frequently to ensure that the investment makes sense.

I also believe that AI features could be more integrated into the daily workflow. They are useful for summarizing texts, generating ideas, and organizing information, but they could help even more if applied more contextually within tasks, documents, comments, and reports, suggesting next steps or automatically highlighting priorities.

Even with these points, they do not compromise the overall use of the tool. ClickUp remains a very comprehensive solution for organization, collaboration, and information centralization. With improvements in performance, onboarding, simplicity of setup, and more contextual use of AI, the experience could become even more fluid and efficient.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp, it was more difficult to maintain a clear view of ongoing tasks, deadlines, priorities, and who was responsible for each team demand. Many pieces of information were scattered across conversations, spreadsheets, emails, or other tools, which made it difficult to track projects, increased the risk of forgetting important activities, and generated more rework.

With ClickUp, I can centralize demands in one place, track the progress of each task, and better visualize what is pending, in progress, or completed. This improves daily organization, facilitates the setting of priorities, and saves time in project tracking because I don't need to search for information across different channels.

The tool also helps make communication with the team more objective. Comments, files, responsible parties, delivery dates, and task history are recorded in the same environment, which reduces communication noise and makes the context clearer for everyone. This is especially useful when several people are involved in the same project or when it is necessary to resume an activity after a few days.

Another problem that ClickUp solves is the difficulty of adapting the workflow for different types of demand. The list, board, calendar, and dashboard views allow each project to be tracked in the most appropriate way. Additionally, custom fields and automations help standardize processes, reduce repetitive manual tasks, and keep the flow more consistent.

In practice, this makes my routine more efficient, improves control over deadlines and priorities, and increases the transparency of the team's work. The main benefit is being able to transform scattered demands into an organized, trackable, and collaborative flow, with less rework and more clarity about what needs to be done.

 ### 49. Easy Onboarding, Great UI, and Solid AI Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin Daniel A. | Software QA Automation Engineer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It has MCP for AI, so I can integrate it with my AI. At the same time, performance is generally good, but there are times when I experience issues with the desktop app since it feels like a browser. On mobile, though, it works well, and the UI is great. I also haven’t explored the Anthropic models they’ve imported yet. The new members we onboarded to our team were able to use ClickUp easily. As for the price, I don’t really know the details, but I think it’s cheap, so I guess it’s worth it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The desktop app feels slow, and there are also times when they deploy breaking changes.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task management and easy progress tracking.

 ### 50. Great passive alerts, but communication limits still create email redundancy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

i like that you can trigger alerts for people to review things passively without having to email them a reminder.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

you can only communicate with people on the platform - people who dont use it or dont know how to use it you still have to email them the information which is a work redundancy. maybe there could be a boomer-friendly version of clickup so that low competency users could still participate but not have to do all the bells and whistles.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's not necessarily solving problems - but it does help keep projects organized. most people have no clue about how project management works so the gantt chart is lost on them. clickup benefits me though because it creates the task lists for people without them having to make it themselves so for the disorganized folks on the team it's a big win.
