What I like best about ClickUp is that it brings everything into one place. Instead of juggling multiple platforms, spreadsheets, notes, and emails, I can manage projects, tasks, forms, automations, and communication all in one system. It’s incredibly customizable, which means I can build workflows that actually match the way I work. It has helped me stay more organized, save time, reduce mental overload, and create better systems for managing both my team and day-to-day operations.

I think it is a little pricey so I have to be strategic about the staff I bring on as a small business

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has solved a huge organization and workflow problem for me. Before using it, information was spread across different platforms, which made it difficult to track tasks, follow up consistently, and keep processes organized. Things could easily get missed between emails, notes, spreadsheets, and team communication.

By centralizing everything into one system, ClickUp has helped me streamline operations, automate repetitive tasks, and create more accountability across workflows. It has significantly reduced mental clutter and saved time because I always know where to find information and what needs attention next.

The biggest benefit has been increased efficiency and visibility. I’m able to manage leads, projects, client communication, and internal processes in a much more organized way, which allows me to focus more on growth and client experience instead of constantly managing chaos behind the scenes.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage my OBM business and client work, and it helps me stay organized and remember what I need to focus on each day and week. I like the visual layout, which makes me feel more organized and provides structure to my work. Being a visual person, I find seeing nested tasks within projects really helpful. The flexibility of ClickUp and the ability to easily integrate with other apps I use are great benefits. I like the layout better than Asana, as there are more options that work better for me overall. Setting up ClickUp was so easy, I was up and running within a few hours.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are definitely things I don't know how to implement, like the techy-er side of ClickUp. I don't know or don't have the time to research them and implement them well. If you had a learning section, I don't know it exists, but it'd be helpful to get emails with 'did you know you can do this in ClickUp.'

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to stay organized, remember my daily and weekly focuses, and plan bigger projects. The visual layout helps as a visual person with nested tasks, and its flexibility and integrations make managing my OBM business easier.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

A great balance between simplicity and flexibility. You can create custom workflows, dashboards, and automations without needing technical skills, and most clients can start using it with very little onboarding.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Clickup is a great low-code tool, but the ceiling for more technical users is real. Scripting, a plugin system, and a more open architecture are things that are missing if you want to deeply customize functionality. I’d really appreciate something that would allow me to build more complex internal solutions.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task management is something I use every day, and it works great. I rely on it for reporting on tasks and for building review boards for clients, so we can discuss issues or sprints during meetings. Overall, it’s a great tool for that.

What I love most are the automations. I’m mostly a one-person team in my organization, and I handle and manage hundreds of interns at a time. This platform has really helped me over the years, especially in keeping everything organized and manageable.

My main concern is the seat limitations. Also, the pricing isn’t for everyone, especially from a nonprofit perspective.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to enable my colleagues to complete their tasks easily and in a structured manner. I appreciate the user-friendly interface, which is easy to navigate after a short familiarization period. The AI functionalities, such as the AI Notetaker, are very helpful as they allow me to fully concentrate on meetings while minutes are created in the background. ClickUp offers many features and a great relief, for example through automations that save work steps and enable maximum performance. Being able to store everything in one program creates maximum transparency with my colleagues. I decided to switch from Monday to ClickUp because ClickUp offers more features and has its own AI. The initial setup was very easy because everything is logical.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp could possibly incorporate a small database variant for me, in which I can sort and archive old tasks according to columns.

I use ClickUp to improve task overview and save time, so more remains for important things. The simple user interface and the AI note-taker make navigation easier and help me work more efficiently by writing logs and creating transparency with colleagues.

I like ClickUp's flexibility. The different views (List, Board, Calendar) let me manage tasks the way I prefer, especially helping me manage billing and project tasks in formats that work best for each situation. Integrations with other SaaS tools save time by keeping everything connected. The reporting features help us stay audit-ready and monitor progress efficiently. I also find it very useful for tracking deadlines, documenting compliance steps, and ensuring communication stays clear when working remotely.

ClickUp can feel overwhelming for new users because of the many features and options. It takes time to learn the interface and set up workflows properly. Some integrations also need smoother performance.

The versatility of the views is incredible, how easy it looks and how organized it is is unbeatable. The list view is my favorite, but the kanban view helps me see ongoing tasks much more easily.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

A weak point is the mobile application. It has many limitations in terms of visuals and its performance. It loads and searches very slowly.

Calculating how many actual hours were dedicated to a project was uncountable, fees were billed that we all knew were not 100% real. Now with time tracking, everything is easier and more credible.

My favorite thing about Click Up is how it helps organize our team’s processes in a very user-friendly way, making it easier to keep everything clear and on track.

The one downside is that there’s a learning curve for new users who have never used project management software before. Because of that, I have to create training videos showing how we handle certain processes as a team, since our workflows differ from the training videos that Click has already offered.

What I like the most is that it took away the mess of having a thousand apps open. Being able to organize tasks, add files to them, set dates, and see everything on a board is awesome.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What drives me crazy is that sometimes the platform gets really slow and just seems to be thinking; when you're in a hurry, seeing that thing loading stresses anyone out.

The main headache it took away was the mess of information. Before, half of the things were left in emails, another part in notebooks, and the rest in WhatsApp chats; coordinating the team was a complete hassle because files and deliverables were constantly getting lost.

There is an important learning phase at the beginning because the configuration possibilities are numerous.

I love the organization that this brings. I have a clear view of all my projects and tasks. Clickup also centralizes my communication with my collaborators or clients, as we can create channels like on Slack. We can also add documents and notes to each task, which is really very practical.

Doc structuring is a bit funky. That's all.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Turns raw thoughts and notes into structured output for my calendar, my CRM data, my appointments, as well as writing and educational projects. There are all these different spots where things can fall through the cracks, and ClickUp is the only tool I've ever used that has been able to solve all of them. Whether that's deals and appointments/follow-ups/sending out quotes, writing essays and documents with speed, whiteboard-mapping SSOT's for my team, or the Super Agents acting as anything from sales coaches to fitness trainers. I use it for all of it, and it's made all those areas way better for me.

It has almost everything related to task, project, and marketing management tools, with rich templates and plenty of options. It’s even generous on the free plan—honestly, not comparable to other platforms when it comes to what you get for free. With the free plan, I was able to build what we needed for our small team. Overall, it’s easy, fun, and exciting to work in Clickup.

Nothing at all. Trust me, I absolutely hate nothing about ClickUp.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like ClickUp's customizable features, which let me adjust the setup to match my workflows and needs. It's great that I can control who has access to the documentation. I also appreciate being able to keep track of all the company documentation, training manuals, and the status of each employee, including their fax needs, all in one place. This provides a clear visual of each worker's situation. Additionally, setting it up was very easy for me. I managed to create spaces and include the people I wanted quickly and without any hassle.

The templates, definitely. I tried using the templates a few different times, but it was a bit difficult for me to adapt them to my needs, so it ended up being better to start from scratch.

Also, linking one workspace to another document is complicated.

I can keep track of a lot of things depending on the department I use it for, such as HR and administrative tasks. It helps me store internal documents, assign tasks to others, track project milestones, and set everything up based on my needs. **What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how flexible it is. It can support simple task tracking, more structured project management, documentation, dashboards, and team collaboration in one place without forcing every team into the same workflow.

I also appreciate that it gives visibility across workstreams. When it is set up well, it becomes much easier to see ownership, deadlines, priorities, and status without chasing updates across Slack, email, spreadsheets, and meetings.

The biggest value is that ClickUp can grow with a team. It works for quick execution, but it can also support more mature operations as processes, reporting, and accountability need to scale.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I dislike about ClickUp is that the flexibility can also become the problem. There are so many ways to structure spaces, folders, lists, views, statuses, automations, and custom fields that it can get messy quickly without strong governance.

It can also feel overwhelming for teams that just need a clear place to see what they own, what is due, and what needs attention. If the setup is too complex, people stop using it consistently, and then the tool becomes another place to check instead of a true source of truth.

ClickUp helps solve the problem of scattered work. Instead of managing tasks, notes, deadlines, project updates, and follow-ups across email, Slack, spreadsheets, and separate documents, it gives the team one central place to organize and track work.

The biggest benefit is visibility. It makes it easier to see what needs to happen, who owns it, when it is due, and where things are getting stuck. That helps reduce missed handoffs, duplicate work, and unnecessary status meetings.

It also supports better accountability. When projects are broken into clear tasks with owners, deadlines, and priorities, it is much easier to keep momentum without constantly chasing people for updates.

It keeps things organized, the interface is good, the integrations are Good, and the new feature of Ai and Bots let's me automate things way better then before, now i can create agents to do my daily routines.

My workspace is kinda big, but sometimes i get impressed because i have no lag working on it.

The pricing is shown in USD rather than my local currency. I don’t dislike the support, because I don’t use it very much.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I've been using ClickUp for about a year now, and honestly it's become essential to how I write and organize my game story a project called "The Last Page" that I'm building with a friend.
Before ClickUp, keeping track of chapters, scenes, and ideas was a mess. Now everything has its place.
I organize each chapter as its own doc, collect ideas before they slip away, and always know where I left off.
It sounds simple, but that structure genuinely saved me so much time and frustration.
What pulled me in first was the UI it's clean, comfortable, and never gets in the way.
I'm a writer, not a project manager, so I needed something that felt natural to use without a learning curve.
ClickUp delivered exactly that.
I just open it and start writing.
If you're someone who creates whether it's stories, games, scripts, or anything that needs organizing ClickUp gives you a space that actually works the way your brain does.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only thing I'd mention is that when I first switched from Notion to ClickUp, it took me a little time to find my way around.
The interface is different enough that there's a small adjustment period. But honestly, once I got used to it, I realized ClickUp is significantly better than Notion for what I do more flexible, better organized, and just more comfortable to work in long-term. So the initial confusion was absolutely worth it.

The main problem ClickUp solved for me is keeping my entire story organized in one place.
I'm writing a game narrative called The Last Page and managing chapters, scenes, and scattered ideas used to slow me down constantly.
ClickUp gave me a clear structure so I can focus entirely on writing instead of searching for where I put things.
Performance wise, it's been rock solid. No crashes, no lag, no lost work it just runs.
For a writer midflow, that reliability matters more than people realize. Nothing kills creativity like a slow or unstable tool.
I also experimented with the AI feature for translating some of my content, and it handled it impressively well.
It's a genuinely useful addition that doesn't feel forced it's there when you need it and stays out of the way when you don't.
Overall ClickUp turned a chaotic creative process into something manageable and even enjoyable.

The best thing about this platform is that it's a "one-stop shop," darn it. Before, I had to use Jira for Sprints, Notion for code documentation (the readme), and Trello for quick tasks. Now I have everything centralized in one space. The Kanban boards flow with elegance.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The platform is like a camel at first: It has so much stuff that the learning curve is extremely heavy and leaves people confused. It becomes sluggish and slow when the database grows, the interface lags, and it consumes RAM like crazy.

The main issue we solved with ClickUp was the huge mess with deliveries and the lack of communication in the team.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has significantly improved our project management process. Its customizable dashboards, task automation, workload management, and real-time collaboration tools help our team stay organized and productive day to day. I especially appreciate the flexibility of the different views—such as List, Board, Calendar, and Gantt—which makes it easier to plan, track, and manage a variety of projects in the way that fits each one best.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Overall, the platform works very well. That said, I do notice occasional delays when loading large workspaces with many tasks. I’d appreciate further improvements in performance, especially in those heavier workspaces.

What I like most about @ClickUp is its ability to become a "Center of Gravity" for a team's work, especially when managing multiple projects in parallel (my case in PMO). I like the to-do list in ClickUp because it helps me keep projects on track. It's great to set priorities and check them off when they are done, so they're off my page. ClickUp University was also really useful because it detailed how to use the platform, taking the stress out of learning it. This helped me stay organized.

I think the features that didn't work for me were just features that I didn't need because I'm not in a large nonprofit. I'm a part of a very small nonprofit, so didn't have to use ClickUp extensively.

The best feature is the use of hot keys to easily create other tasks. I'm also thankful for the duplicate feature so that I don't have to recreate workflow. Assigning people to tasks and having all the data report back to my homepage where I can create and structure my priority list across multiple projects.

Our organization needs more support and tutorials on how to effectively leverage ClickUp to manage projects effectively. I feel I am the only one that uses it often.

I like the customization ClickUp offers. I can set up lists, custom fields, and views that actually fit how I work, not the other way around. Instead of juggling Trello for tasks, Google Docs for briefs, and Notion for notes, ClickUp lets me keep everything linked. I can turn action items in a brief directly into tasks without losing context. After getting past the learning curve, it’s hard to go back to simpler tools. ClickUp is worth it as an all-in-one workplace that replaces 3-4 other tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many features. Took me a bit to stop over-complicating my setup. Mobile app is functional but not as smooth as desktop. Loading times can lag if you have a really heavy workplace. The setup was not that easy. It felt very overwhelming as there are so many features.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp lets me manage content projects and client campaigns in one place by linking tasks, briefs, and notes, eliminating the need for Trello, Google Docs, and Notion. I can easily turn action items into tasks without losing context.
