## ClickUp Reviews
 ### 1. Versatile Task Organizer with Room for Export Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Torey D. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like using ClickUp for task tracking in my small bookkeeping business because it keeps tasks and projects organized for specific clients, so no details get missed. It's a versatile platform that lets us edit as best fit for our needs. The timesheet/time tracking feature helps us better track each employee's time spent per client, which makes billing invoices more efficient.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Timesheets can't be exported without using a dashboard, which feels like an extra step that could be simpler if there was an export option within the timesheet itself. Some tasks don't always populate when trying to input time spent in the timesheet portion. It would be helpful if the owner or admin could export all timesheets as one in the timesheet section. The initial setup was fair, but a bit complex for some to grasp.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps our tasks and projects organized, shows us what everyone is working on, and helps track each employee's time per client for efficient billing invoices.

 ### 2. Streamlined Project Management and Seamless Communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cris S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp because everything is sorted neatly, which makes handling tasks and subtasks very efficient. I love that when there's a main task, related subtasks can be easily managed, which helps in keeping everything streamlined. The communication feature within ClickUp is fantastic, as I don't have to jump to any other communication tools like Slack or WhatsApp to discuss updates; ClickUp's chat feature allows me to easily check in with colleagues about task progress directly in the app, which I find very convenient. Overall, the setup was quite basic for me, given my background with other project management software. The labeling feature that marks tasks as complete once finished is also a nice touch, making task management smooth.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Nothing, I love everything that makes my task so easy!

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that ClickUp sorts everything out, manages my tasks, and integrates my communication, making task assignment and follow-ups seamless. It’s very convenient, and I can easily assign tasks and chat with my team without switching tools.

 ### 3. Essential for Remote Work with Great Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa G. | Creative Designer, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp is very dynamic, which is essential for my daily remote work, as it facilitates the creation of requests and client inquiries, time organization, tasks, and team communication. Also, if I need help, the agents are available to assist me with anything I don't know how to do. I also find the initial setup intuitive, which has been very helpful as the application has evolved.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I would like to be able to make it so that the same task can have its time divided by the day worked, even if it is the same task.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage client requests, organize time and tasks, and communicate with the team, which helps avoid work overload and loss of chats, files, and context of old tasks. It is very dynamic and offers support to use all its features.

 ### 4. Comprehensive Tool with Impressive Customization, Needs Dashboard Enhancements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matías A. | Analista programador Junior, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the custom fields flexibility in ClickUp, which allows us to create detailed entities and enhances user experience and data quality. The ClickUp notetaker is wonderful, making transcriptions and key topics available for brain functionality, helping us find answers from previous discussions. We use ClickUp for almost everything, especially project management, and have found it very helpful for tracking time, sprint management, and task management. It's also an easy-to-use front end for loading important information that we can use to create dashboards. ClickUp unified our task management, replacing multiple systems like Basecamp and Project Online. Setting it up was simple because we started small, making users comfortable with the platform before introducing complex processes. I also appreciate the AI features that help us learn about ClickUp and how to use it effectively.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

We'd love to have more levels of subfolders, they help a lot to organize our information. It would be also great if we could have different kinds of users with different prices, since in most companies the majority of users don't need a lot of features and they could be simpler and cheaper. One of the features that must be improved asap is dashboards, it seems they have been left behind since we saw no updates regarding dashboards for a long time. They are very limited especially when you need to combine time-tracked information with custom fields. They are also unable to calculate metrics or simple math operations.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp unifies task management by combining sprint management, time tracking, and user collaboration into one tool. It replaces multiple systems and allows for detailed data organization, cutting dependency on spreadsheets and custom apps.

 ### 5. ClickUp’s Flexible All-in-One Platform Boosted My Productivity

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shivam G. | Fullstack Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is its flexible, all-in-one approach. It replaces multiple tools by combining task management, docs, goals, and time tracking in a single platform, which simplifies my workflow. The UI is clean and the ability to switch between List, Board, and Calendar views makes it easy to manage tasks based on context.

Customization is a major strength—custom fields, statuses, and automations allow me to design workflows exactly how I need them. This has significantly reduced manual work and improved efficiency. Integrations with other tools I use also help keep everything connected without switching platforms frequently.

In terms of performance, ClickUp generally handles large task volumes well, and I’ve been able to manage complex projects without major issues. From a pricing perspective, it offers strong value for money considering the number of features included in a single tool.

Overall, it has improved my productivity, made collaboration smoother, and helped me stay organized without needing multiple separate tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp is very powerful, the biggest downside is that it can feel overwhelming at times, especially for new users. The number of features and customization options creates a learning curve during onboarding. In terms of performance, I’ve occasionally experienced slight lag when working with larger projects or heavy dashboards.

Additionally, some advanced features are not very intuitive and require time to fully understand or set up properly. Although the pricing offers good value overall, certain useful features are locked behind higher-tier plans.

Improving onboarding, simplifying the UI for beginners, and optimizing performance for large-scale usage would make the experience even better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using ClickUp, we struggled with scattered tools, lack of visibility into tasks, and inefficient collaboration across the team. It was difficult to track progress, manage priorities, and keep everything aligned in one place.

With ClickUp, we now have a centralized system where tasks, documentation, and communication are all connected. This has improved transparency and made it easier to track progress in real time. Features like automations and integrations have reduced manual work and saved us several hours each week.

 ### 6. ClickUp Keeps Everything Organized with Reminders, Automations, and Notetakers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Keeping track of multiple tasks in one place, along with reminders for when tasks are due or overdue, helps me stay on top of my work without issues. The automations have also made moving tasks through different phases as simple as the click of a button. The ClickUp notetakers have made life much easier when I’m dealing with multiple client meetings, and they give me a clear list of tasks coming out of each meeting. Overall, having everything organized has made my workflow much easier to manage.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I haven’t experienced many downsides to ClickUp overall. The main issue I’ve run into is that, when I’m trying out new tools within the platform, the tutorials can feel a bit more complicated than they need to be. That said, it isn’t a major setback, and it may not be an issue for everyone.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working with multiple clients, each with different time allotted, can make it hard to keep track of where my hours are going. ClickUp’s time tracking and estimation has been a huge problem solver for me. The tracking is accurate, and it’s easy to adjust if I make a mistake. Having ClickUp’s built-in AI, along with its integration with other AI platforms, has also made it simple to create tasks and keep everything organized. I’m able to get a full summary of my work from anywhere, whether I’m looking back at the last three days or the last month, and that has helped me stay organized and plan ahead more effectively.

 ### 7. ClickUp Keeps Our Team Aligned with Clear, Status-Based Workflows,

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hiba A. | Quality Assurance Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that we use it as a central hub to manage everything as a team. We organize our work by creating folders for each client, which keeps everything structured, easy to find, and clear.

I also use it to report issues, and the dev team can quickly pick them up, track progress, and keep statuses updated.

The status-based workflow works really well for us because it gives solid visibility into what’s in progress, what’s blocked, and what’s done. Overall, it helps us stay aligned and makes collaboration across the team much smoother.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

So far, I haven’t run into any major issues with ClickUp. It fits our team’s needs well and supports our workflow smoothly and effectively.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using ClickUp, our company wasn’t very organized. As a development team, we also didn’t have much experience with project management, so we ended up relying on multiple tools—like Google apps—to manage tasks and data. That approach left everything scattered and made it harder to track what was going on.

ClickUp solved this by bringing everything into one place. It helps us organize tasks, track issues, and collaborate more efficiently as a team. The platform is easy to use, well-designed, and gives us clear visibility into our work. Overall, it has improved our workflow, saved us time, and made our processes feel much more structured.

 ### 8. Extremely Powerfull Tool!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian S. | Desarrollador .Net Jr, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 19, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how ClickUp updates almost every week with new tools and features, with most of them being asked by us, the customers. That means they listen to their audience. I like the new look n feel, it improved the UI/UX a lot. I also loved the new whiteboard experience. I also found amazing the new agents features though I'm not really using them.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I still have cache issues some times, I tell my team that they didn't update the status of their tasks just to find out that they did but I had to refresh in order to see them updated.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote team planning, collaboration and communication. The idea of a single source of truth boosted with workflows and intake processes, is a game changer.

 ### 9. Centralizes Our Workflow with Comprehensive Features

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshit P. | Project Manager & Business Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp as my team's central hub to track daily tasks, manage complex projects, and keep all the information centralized. I love the Kanban board view, list view, and Gantt chart, which make the work convenient. The list view organizes my daily to-dos, Kanban lets me visually drag tasks through stages, and Gantt charts map out project timelines and dependencies so nothing gets blocked. I also used it with GitHub code commits to our development tickets and use the Google Calendar Sync to keep track of all my milestones.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I find the mobile app lacking some of the advanced features found on desktop, and ClickUp can occasionally slow down or lag when managing massive projects with thousands of tasks. We found the initial setup overwhelming due to the sheer number of features, so we had to lock down permissions and build clean templates before onboarding the complete team.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp as my team's central hub to track tasks and manage projects, solving the chaos of scattered information.

 ### 10. Intuitive Click Up Interface with Powerful Calendar and Timeline Views

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eka N. | Desainer Grafis, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I genuinely love the interface and the overall experience of using Click Up. It’s definitely a complex tool, but it can handle heavier workloads like managing social media content, daily tasks, recurring tasks, and even sub-tasks and sub-sub-tasks, along with plenty more. I also like that I can sync briefs from Google Drive into Click Up, which makes it much easier to keep everything organized in one place.

The most helpful parts of Click Up for me are the Calendar View and the Timeline View. They make it much easier to plan and manage my work, and to quickly see what’s coming up next.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Because of its complexity, some people need time to learn the interface, and others—like my team—find it difficult to understand. Some users prefer project management tools that are easier to use and allow them to organize their work effortlessly.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can break down a project into very detailed tasks, and each item can have assigned dates and statuses. The customizable statuses allow me to see where the project is facing obstacles, making it easier for me to manage my work efficiently.

 ### 11. Powerful Project Management with Room for Better Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Riley B. | GTM Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the automations in ClickUp. I appreciate the super agents, and I find the ability to transcribe meetings particularly useful, which allows me to quickly create tasks from those meetings. I record every meeting to have a repository of all my work, and I use the brain feature to reference old calls to ensure I'm not missing anything. This helps me systemize the calls and execute tasks more efficiently. The integration with Claude via MCP and API enables me to do a lot more work much faster.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some of the integrations with Gmail and Google Calendar don't always sync correctly. Also, I'd like super agents to be a little bit more intuitive in working with the Google Workspace.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management, connecting it to ERP for visibility on orders and assigning tasks to stakeholders, while automations and transcribing features enable me to execute tasks faster.

 ### 12. Flexible, Fast, and Great Value—ClickUp Keeps Projects and Chat Together

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin H. | Project Manager and Systems Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The flexibility of ClickUp is the best, followed by how it is organized. I love having the combination of a communication/chat platform together with the full fledged project manager. For what you receive in ClickUp, the pricing is so much better than what you receive with other companies. The platform is fast and I love that I have so many integrations I can use. I have not had to use their support yet so I can't speak to it. We haven't used any of the AI features yet just due to cost at the moment.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My only dislike with Clickup is that the platform does seem a little cramped. I think if items had a little more breathing room, particularly in Navigation. I feel the navigation either needs to have a larger font or more space in between navigation items. I also think the tabs for lists, chats, and spaces need to be larger and more spaced out as well.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overall project management is the number one thing that ClickUp is helping our business with right now. The fact that I can see everything we have going on in one solid "dashboard" is fantastic! The fact that tasks roll up to spaces and subfolders to give you a high level view of everything you have going on is a game changer! I have yet to find that with any other project management software.

 ### 13. Powerful Customization but Needs Performance Boost

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohamed A. | Senior Project Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love that ClickUp is one software that has it all and allows me to manage literally everything. I've trained the whole company to create any system or replace any existing system or CRM with ClickUp. I replaced JIRA Help Desk before with ClickUp Help Desk and created a BD pipeline through ClickUp. Now, I'm centralizing all the company's operations through ClickUp, and it helps us focus and prioritize. I love the customizations, as I can do almost anything. The automation features are very useful, allowing me to automate tasks like weekly and monthly reminders and summarizing team progress using AI. I create external public views for clients to show progress and use dashboards for different management levels. The Gantt charts and the baseline feature are amazing for shifting tasks when timelines change, and I can track progress against the baseline. I also enjoy using it with Zapier, Slack, Google Chat, and Google Drive, which has been amazing, enhancing the workflow.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I find really frustrating with ClickUp is the automations part because I can't add an 'OR' option, so I have to repeat the automation multiple times, sometimes 10 or 20 or even 100 times for the same thing. The app is also quite slow on PC and crashes a lot, so its performance definitely needs improvement. The personal list and tasks list are too slow, so I end up using Google Tasks because it's simpler and quicker. The import function is messy and difficult to use; it should be improved to allow me to import whatever sheet I need. Plus, I can't import all the fields of a task at once, which means I have to add a lot of information manually afterward. The initial setup of ClickUp was really hard. I had to conduct multiple three to four-hour training sessions to introduce it to the project management team and the whole company, and even then, the adoption process is still ongoing with lots of follow-up needed. Lastly, integrating email is tough because it's hard to send and receive emails while maintaining the same email thread.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management, solving documentation and focus issues, and tracking progress. It helps assign and prioritize tasks, create dashboards, and automate operations. I appreciate its customizations, replace existing CRMs, and centralize company operations, improving focus and task management.

 ### 14. Great Tool for Organizing Work and Deadlines

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** fiza m. | I’m a YouTube thumbnail designer., Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is how it keeps everything in one place without making things feel complicated. Tasks, deadlines, and projects all stay organized, so I don’t have to jump between different tools.It’s really convo to use and definitely has made life easier by managing my daily tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

it can feel a bit overwhelming at first because there are so many features. It takes some time to get used to everything and set it up the way you want.but still it’s not that complicated once you get used to it…it’s quiet easy actually.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of unorganized work by keeping all tasks, deadlines, and projects in one place. It helps me stay organized, save time, and be more productive.

 ### 15. All-in-One Project Management Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how flexible it is. Instead of forcing my team to follow a fixed workflow, we can organize our work in a way that actually makes sense for us. We use different Lists for different functions, customize task statuses, and switch between Board, List, and Calendar views depending on what we're working on.

I also appreciate having everything in one place. Tasks, documents, forms, comments, due dates, and project tracking are all connected, so we don't have to jump between multiple tools. Once you get past the initial learning curve, it becomes a very powerful platform for managing projects and keeping everyone aligned.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest downside for me is that some of the features I would love to use are behind the paid plans, which can be limiting for small teams or those just getting started.

I also think the interface can feel overwhelming, especially for people who aren't very tech-savvy. There are a lot of menus, settings, and places to click before you find what you're looking for. As someone who's comfortable with technology, I was able to learn it fairly quickly, but I can definitely see newer or less technical users needing more time to get used to the platform. A simpler onboarding experience and a cleaner interface for beginners would make ClickUp even better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has helped solve one of our biggest challenges: staying organized and keeping everyone on the same page. Instead of managing tasks across different apps or relying on chats, we now have a centralized workspace where we can plan, assign, and track work from start to finish.

The Whiteboards have been especially useful for visualizing ideas and mapping out workflows before turning them into actionable tasks. The Kanban Board gives us a clear view of project progress, making it easy to see what's planned, in progress, or completed. I also appreciate the automation features, which eliminate repetitive tasks like updating statuses or assigning work, allowing us to focus on more important things.

Overall, ClickUp has improved our team's productivity, reduced confusion, and made project management much more structured and transparent.

 ### 16. Intuitive Platform with Powerful AI Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like that ClickUp is easy to understand. It has a really nice platform with good views, colors, and icons. The availability of all the tools and options is great. The most updated version with the AI agents is a standout feature. The AI agent is a powerful tool that helps me add and prepare orders and manage details for tasks, making my workflow more efficient. The organization of the platform, including the colors, makes it easy for everyone to access and check pending tasks. Setting it up was super straightforward without any issues. I love having everything on the same page with all tools on the left, and after creating task lists, everything works smoothly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I haven't found anything that needs improvement so far. However, a feature that could be helpful is a concept map view that shows all tasks or task lists on the same page. This would be organized by responsible people and what is pending.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize all my tasks and job spending like a CRM, helping me track everything to finish on time. The AI agent is powerful for adding and preparing orders, while its user-friendly design keeps everyone informed of pending tasks.

 ### 17. Streamlined Team Collaboration with ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karren B. | Communications Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find that ClickUp helps me synchronize with my team in a timely manner, allowing us to solve problems effectively. We can have an overview of our projects and also dive into the tiny details necessary to keep everything moving along. As a communications manager, I appreciate how ClickUp supports me in creating content and strategies. The ability to have an overview is particularly valuable as it gives us a quick glance to understand where things are within the company and how specific projects are progressing. The details view enables us to accomplish tasks and identify what more we can do to ensure project success. The initial setup was very easy too.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Well, to be honest, with ClickUp, I think what gives room for improvement would probably be the AI feature. Maybe improve it in a way that it is able to really understand simple prompts maybe?

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me sync with my team in a timely manner, oversee projects, and focus on crucial details to ensure success. It aids in task management, content creation, and strategy development as a communications manager.

 ### 18. ClickUp’s Recurring Tasks and Easy Setup Streamlined My Workflow

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer C. | Office Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The single best feature of ClickUp is the ability to make a task recurring. After that, I just like how easy it is to jump right in and use the site with almost no training. It sped up my workflow, stopped me from missing tasks and integrates so easily with my other software that I can create tasks with no effort.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I do wish it was easier to contol what the cards look like in board view. I can't always get exactly what I want to show on the cards.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am an office manager. I have to track many compliance tasks that time sensitive as well as taxes, bookkeeping, and hr tasks. With ClickUp, i can log each one, set it on a recurring time table and guarantee I get it all done. The amount of time saved because I no longer have to keep checking what I need to do it tremendous.

 ### 19. Efficientix: Centralized Operations "All-in-One"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariano C. | PMO Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best is its versatility to centralize everything. At Efficientix, we have managed to migrate processes from completely different departments —such as technical support with automations, product development, pre-sales, and even HR for payroll management— into a single ecosystem. I love that it replaces tools like Slack for internal communication and external forms for ticketing, allowing us to have real end-to-end traceability in one place without jumping between applications.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I dislike the most is the initial learning curve, which can be quite steep for the technical team if they are not used to such a rigorous level of documentation. Also, because we have very robust processes and so many automations running simultaneously (especially in support and development), the platform can occasionally feel a bit slow or heavy when loading dashboards with large amounts of data. Finally, notification management requires a lot of manual fine-tuning to prevent the team from becoming overwhelmed by the flow of information.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is solving the problem of information fragmentation. Previously, our communications were in Slack, tickets were in external forms, and project management was in various spreadsheets. By centralizing everything —from product development to HR payroll and pre-sales— we have eliminated data silos. The greatest benefit is total traceability and real-time visibility; as a PMO, I no longer have to 'chase' people to find out the status of a project or a ticket; everything is documented. This has allowed us to standardize processes and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks.

 ### 20. Powerful all-in-one tool, just give it time to click

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chiara L. | Director of Systems Implementation and Compliance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Honestly the customizable views are so useful. I can flip between list, board, and Gantt depending on what I'm working on instead of being stuck in one layout. The nested tasks are great for breaking down bigger projects without losing track of the overall picture. Automations are a lifesaver for the repetitive stuff like status updates and reassignments. The Docs feature was a nice surprise too, keeping notes and project info right next to the actual tasks means way less jumping between apps. Slack and Google Drive integrations work exactly how you'd hope. It's basically replaced a few other tools for me so the price feels worth it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is pretty steep when you first get started, there are so many features that it can feel overwhelming and it takes a while before everything clicks. The mobile app could use some work too, it's noticeably clunkier than the desktop experience which is frustrating when you're trying to quickly check something on the go. Performance can lag when you're dealing with larger workspaces or lots of tasks loading at once. The AI features feel a bit bolted on compared to the rest of the product — they're not bad but don't feel fully integrated yet. Onboarding could also be smoother for new team members, there's not a great guided setup experience so you end up figuring a lot out yourself.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp we were all over the place, tasks in one tool, docs in another, project timelines somewhere else entirely. It was a mess keeping everything in sync and stuff would fall through the cracks constantly. Now pretty much everything lives in one place which has made a huge difference. We're way more aligned as a team because everyone can see what's happening and who owns what without having to chase people down over Slack. Deadlines are easier to track, priorities are clearer, and I'd say we've cut down the time spent on 'where are we on this?' check-ins by a lot. It's also saved money just by replacing a couple of subscriptions we no longer need. Not perfect but it's genuinely made collaborative work feel a lot less chaotic.

 ### 21. ClickUp: depth and flexibility to centralize the entire operation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** PlusNok L. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What we like most about ClickUp is the depth and flexibility of the platform. Today we can centralize practically the entire company's operation within it: project management, processes, SOPs, CRM, commercial, onboarding, support, products, routines, and strategic monitoring. This brought organization, standardization, and real scalability to our operation.

UI / UX

The interface of ClickUp 4.0 became more visually modern and some navigations became more fluid. However, we noticed a significant decline in usability regarding "Relationships/Related".

In version 3.0, relationships were quicker and more intuitive to access during daily operations. In 4.0, the change in location increased the number of clicks and made it difficult to quickly view connected tasks, especially for those working with complex project management, milestones, dependencies, and interconnected processes.

Since we use relationships intensively throughout the company, this change directly impacted the operational productivity of the team.

Even so, ClickUp remains one of the most complete tools on the market in terms of operational structuring.

Integrations

Integrations are one of the platform's biggest differentiators. We can connect ClickUp with essential tools for our operation and transform it into the company's "center".

The flexibility of automations, API integrations, and connection with other platforms allows for the creation of highly customized systems, which is extremely valuable for companies with more mature processes.

We particularly like the ability to adapt ClickUp to the company's reality, instead of having to adapt the company to the tool.

Performance

Performance has improved significantly in recent years, especially considering the size and complexity of the platform. However, we still experience some bottlenecks in heavier operations:

Loading of very large Spaces and views
Occasional slowness in Dashboards
Small delays in automations and synchronizations
Some visual inconsistencies in version 4.0

Even so, considering the depth of the tool, the overall performance is good.

Price / ROI

The ROI of ClickUp is extremely high for companies that truly use the platform strategically.

Today we can replace several tools with a single centralized structure, which reduces operational costs, improves internal communication, and increases operational control.

For organized companies that use processes, ClickUp delivers a lot of value for the price.

Support / Onboarding

The documentation and knowledge base are very good. The community also helps a lot.

On the other hand, we feel that the learning curve of ClickUp is still high for new teams. Since the platform is extremely powerful, sometimes the initial onboarding can be confusing for less technical or less organized users.

There may be opportunities to improve:

Guided onboarding by company profile
More ready-made templates for real operations
Intelligent structure suggestions
Simplified UX for beginner teams
AI / Intelligence

ClickUp's AI has a lot of potential and we like the direction the platform is taking.

The main differentiator would be to transform AI into something truly operational, not just text generation.

Examples that would make a big difference:

AI suggesting process optimizations
AI identifying bottlenecks in projects
AI analyzing team productivity
AI helping with automatic prioritization
AI creating intelligent automations with natural language
AI understanding context between tasks, Docs, CRM, and projects

ClickUp already has an absurd operational depth. If AI evolves integrated into the real context of the operation, it can become something far above the competitors.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What we like least about ClickUp today is mainly related to usability in some specific areas of the platform, performance issues in heavier operations, and the pricing policy in dollars for the Brazilian market.

UI / UX

The main negative point for us was the change in the usability of "Relationships/Related" in version 4.0.

In version 3.0, this feature was more accessible, intuitive, and faster for day-to-day operations. Since we use relationships in practically our entire operational structure, including projects, milestones, processes, CRM, and internal management, the change ended up significantly impacting the team's productivity.

Today we feel that:

it has become less intuitive to locate relationships;
the number of clicks has increased;
the visualization lost operational agility;
the flow became more "hidden" within the interface.

For companies that use ClickUp in an advanced and highly connected way, this makes a big difference in daily operations.

Additionally, some areas of the platform still seem overly complex for new users, which increases the learning curve.

Integrations

Although the integrations are powerful, some still require a lot of manual adjustment or more advanced technical knowledge.

In some scenarios, we miss:

deeper native integrations;
simpler configurations;
less dependence on external tools;
smarter automations without the need for so many steps.

Performance

In larger operations, we still notice some performance issues:

slowness in more complex Dashboards;
slow loading in very large views;
small delays in automations;
occasional interface freezes;
visual inconsistencies after updates.

Since we use ClickUp as the company's central system, any slowness directly impacts the operation.

Price / ROI

Although the ROI is very good, the billing model in dollars weighs heavily for Brazilian companies.

The exchange rate variation makes the cost unpredictable and, depending on the economic moment, the platform can become significantly more expensive in Brazil.

It would be extremely important to have:

regionalized prices for the Brazilian market;
billing in reais (BRL);
plans adapted to the LATAM reality;
less impact from dollar conversion.

For growing Brazilian teams, this makes a big difference in the scalability of the tool within the company.

Support / Onboarding

The documentation is good, but in some cases, we find it difficult to find more objective answers or faster support for specific problems.

We also believe that onboarding could be smarter for complex operations and companies that use ClickUp as an operational ERP.

AI / Intelligence

AI still seems to be in its early stages compared to the potential that ClickUp has.

Today it helps in text productivity, but it could evolve much more towards real operational intelligence.

We would like to see:

AI understanding relationships between tasks and processes;
automatic bottleneck analysis;
strategic suggestions;
contextual intelligent automations;
operational reading of the company;
productivity and risk insights.

ClickUp already has an extremely rich operational data base. AI could leverage this in a much deeper and strategic way.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is helping us solve operational and strategic problems that previously greatly hindered the growth and organization of the company.

Main business problems that ClickUp helps solve
1. Lack of operational organization

Previously, information, processes, and demands were scattered across various tools, conversations, and documents.

With ClickUp, we managed to centralize the entire operation in a single system:

projects;
processes;
CRM;
onboarding;
support;
commercial management;
production;
internal routines;
documentation and SOPs.

This reduced disorganization, rework, and loss of information.

2. Difficulty in scaling the company

As the company grows, operational complexity increases.

ClickUp allows us to create standardized processes, automations, and replicable structures, facilitating:

hiring staff;
training;
monitoring;
delegation;
expansion of operations without relying on everything being in the managers' heads.
3. Lack of visibility of operations

One of the biggest problems for growing companies is not being able to clearly see what is happening.

Today we can monitor:

project progress;
productivity;
bottlenecks;
delays;
commercial demands;
deliveries;
customer status;
team priorities.

This greatly improves decision-making.

4. Decentralized communication

Previously, many important pieces of information were lost in WhatsApp, meetings, or scattered messages.

With ClickUp, we can centralize context, tasks, histories, responsibilities, and documentation within the operation itself.

This reduces communication noise and increases alignment between teams.

5. Excessive dependence on managers

Without structured processes, many companies become dependent on the owners for everything.

ClickUp helps transform operational knowledge into clear processes, allowing the team to execute with more autonomy.

This improves scalability and reduces management bottlenecks.

6. Lack of commercial and operational control

Today we use ClickUp to organize:

commercial funnel;
lead management;
internal and external projects;
delivery processes;
customer follow-up;
strategic management.

This brought much more predictability to the operation.

How this is benefiting the company

The main benefits we feel are:

more organization;
increased productivity;
reduction of rework;
clearer processes;
better internal communication;
greater control of operations;
scalability;
clearer strategic vision;
centralization of the company in a single operational ecosystem.

ClickUp has become much more than a task manager for us. Today it practically functions as the company's operating system.

 ### 22. Reliable Workflow Tracking with Custom Checklists and Harvest Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andy S. | Director, Paraplanner and qualified Pension Transfer Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It helps me keep track of my workflow, and I like the customised checklists that I can create and maintain. I like that I can split my work into different groups and can see at a glance where I am.

It integrates with Harvest, which is another positive, so I can keep a track of time.

It seems to be mostly reliable - there has only been once or twice when it has not worked.

Price is reasonable for what I use it for.

Support are helpful, when you can get through to them.

I don't use the AI/intelligence on the software as it's additional cost that I don't want

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's not very intuitive. When I started using it, I had a completely blank slate which was not helpful.

I use the support function to help, but it would be better if I didn't have to

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workflow management. Without it, I'd be using an alternative system

 ### 23. From Choas to Clarity—ClickUp Keeps Our Nonprofit Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana K. | Executive Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I came to ClickUp hoping to find something that could truly support the day-to-day needs of a small nonprofit—and it has quickly become one of the most useful tools I rely on.

What stands out right away is how versatile it is. There’s a feature for just about everything, which is both a gift and something that takes a little time to grow into. There is a learning curve, but it feels worth it. Once things start to click, you begin to see how much it can really hold and organize for you.

Before this, I used another app that offered unlimited storage for free, which was hard to walk away from. But ClickUp’s upgrade pricing is far more affordable and realistic for a small organization like mine, especially considering everything it offers in return.

The support team has been a bright spot—quick to respond and clear in their explanations, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to figure things out on your own. The training documentation is also incredibly well done, making it easier to learn at your own pace without feeling overwhelmed.

Performance-wise, it has been smooth and reliable. I use it on Windows and haven’t experienced any conflicts or slowdowns with other applications, which gives me peace of mind when I’m juggling multiple tasks.

One of my favorite features is automated recurring tasks. It helps me stay grounded in the rhythm of ongoing responsibilities without having to constantly reset or remember everything manually - especially with the Google Calendar integration. I haven't tried the other AI automations yet, but there are several listed that are commonly used that have peaked my interest.

If I could change one thing, it would be the ability to set custom notification sounds. That said, I understand that may be more of a system limitation than something within ClickUp itself.

Overall, ClickUp has become more than just a productivity app for me—it feels like a steady support system that helps me stay focused, organized, and moving forward.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There is a noticeable learning curve that can take a significant amount of time to work through. Notification sounds can be difficult to get functioning reliably, which can impact staying on top of tasks. Additionally, the free plan has very limited storage, which can be restrictive—especially for visual users who rely heavily on images and creative assets.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is solving the overwhelm that comes from having too many lists with no clear structure. When you’re managing “lists of lists,” it can start to feel scattered and hard to follow, even when everything is written down. ClickUp’s folder system brings a sense of order to that chaos, giving each piece a place and making it easier to see the bigger picture without losing the details.

It also solves the challenge of keeping important documents organized and accessible for a team. Instead of searching through emails or multiple platforms, everything can live in one convenient space, ready to share when needed.

At its core, ClickUp is helping turn confusion into clarity. It saves time, reduces mental clutter, and creates a smoother, more intentional workflow—so energy can go back into the work that really matters instead of constantly trying to find it.

 ### 24. Versatile Tool that Optimizes Our Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Well S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the automation functions of ClickUp, which are highly customizable and allow us to automatically apply settings to repetitive tasks, such as task templates and different triggers. The integration with external applications, like Discord and Google Calendar, is essential to keep our team informed. The diversity of view types, dashboards, and tags makes it easy to closely monitor each member and their activities. I also appreciate how ClickUp has made our workflow more organized and intuitive, facilitating the definition of hierarchy between space, folders, and lists.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are still some possibilities for automations that do not yet exist, such as automatically applying a custom field to a subtask by replicating the same field applied to the main task. I believe there could be even more variety of triggers for automations for us to select.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize and control the team's task flow. It facilitates integration with external apps and offers automations that apply task templates automatically. The views and dashboards help track each member's activities in detail.

 ### 25. Highly Flexible but Can Be Challenging to Master

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find the ClickUp interface really pleasing to look at and really organized. I like that it's so custom, and I can really make it work for what I want it to work for. It has a lot of flexibility, which is a big plus for me. I've never had any major lag or performance issues and it integrates with a lot of different software. The AI add-on features that I tested out made work smoother as a Project Manager. Price is better than competitors that I looked at.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the biggest thing with ClickUp is it's a very steep learning curve. It's really hard to set up and understand how to make it work for you. It can be a little intimidating to get in and start. People can feel very overwhelmed or not sure where to find stuff.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves visibility for leadership, manages several different work streams at once, and keeps people on task. I like that work across projects can be linked as well so we can easily see how tasks impact each other or find related work.

 ### 26. Great for project management for teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maisie F. | CRM Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how flexible and customisable it is, it can be tailored to fit almost any project, whether that’s campaign planning, CRM, or project management. The ability to view tasks across multiple formats (list, board, calendar, timeline) makes it really easy to manage priorities and keep track of deadlines.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It can feel overwhelming, especially for new users. The sheer number of features, customisation options, and views can make onboarding quite steep, and it’s not always immediately intuitive where to find things or how best to structure boards.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us solve the challenge of managing multiple projects, priorities, and team members in one central place. Before using it, it was difficult to keep track of who was responsible for what, which tasks were most urgent, and how everything tied back to each other.

It’s particularly beneficial for prioritisation, being able to set clear priorities, deadlines, and statuses means I can quickly see what needs immediate attention versus what can wait. This helps ensure high impact tasks are always worked on first, rather than getting lost in day to day noise.

 ### 27. Easy Navigation and Great Project Communication

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Easy navigation, and good for communicating on each individual project. the chat feature and ability to attach files is great. For certain recurring tasks, I use the ai bots to generate monthly tasks for coworkers. I like the often monthly informational webinars that provide more insight into the technology, as well as the online resources for training. the intergrations with slack and google are a great benefit, though one we haven't really utilized as a company yet. The app's performance is generally quite good, and I seldom have issues with lagging or app shutdowns. The pricing is reasonable; we had to upgrade to get the ability to attach items to a task. I wish that it also allowed us to have more specific forms without having to update again, but overall, pretty good price for what we get.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it's hard to find ways to get projects into ClickUp when they're formatted in a way that doesn't translate to task integration. I wish there were a few more types of channels/ways to view and organize tasks that could be customized to what works for our team. Also, the fact that you can not get a task to recur at the beginning of each month, without it immediately repopulating once it's closed out is beyond frustrating. My workaround for this was using an ai bot to create the task each month, but it's a huge downfall that this can't just be incorporated in the settings.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s definitely helping solve the issue of things getting lost internally. Before, almost all tasks came in through calls, emails, or texts with the owner of the company and then either trickled down slowly or didn’t make it through at all. Now we’re in a much better place: we can take a verbal request, get it into ClickUp, and assign it out as needed.

It’s also useful being able to include deliverables directly in the task, so I (as the project manager) can quickly grab what’s needed and send it to the client once it’s finished. On top of that, it helps that it’s available for others on the team when needed, and that we can easily see the project’s progress and the work being done.

 ### 28. Flexibility of ClickUp and centralized organization that boosts our video workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As a video editor, what brings me the most value in ClickUp is the flexibility of the interface to manage visual workflows. The ability to instantly switch between Kanban and List views organizes my day a lot. I can drag project cards through the stages of capture, editing, and approval, which saves me several hours of weekly alignment meetings because the status of each delivery is clear to everyone.

Furthermore, the centralization of information greatly improves our workflow. Instead of spreading briefings and links to large files in chat apps or emails, ClickUp allows attaching reference links and review feedback directly to each video's card. This centralized organization greatly improves team performance and ensures a great return on the time investment we make in the platform.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What bothers me most about the desktop application is the fact that it is basically a container that mirrors the web version, instead of being software developed natively for the operating system. As a video editor, I highly value tools that make the most of the hardware, and this development choice makes the experience feel less integrated than it could be.

Furthermore, the UI/UX experience on the iOS app leaves something to be desired. While the computer version allows for managing complex workflows, the mobile interface is a bit confusing and cluttered. It becomes difficult to navigate through lists and update project statuses quickly when I'm away from the computer, which breaks the agility that the platform proposes in daily use.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem that ClickUp solves in my routine is the decentralization of the workflow. Before, video briefings, deadlines, and review comments were scattered across emails and messaging apps, which created communication noise and risk of missing deadlines. Centralizing all of this within task cards brought enormous clarity to the team.

Another critical point is the bottleneck in the content approval process. With the tool, we can visually map at which stage of post-production each material is. This facilitates backlog management and greatly improves our return on time investment, as editors spend less time searching for information and can focus purely on the technical execution of projects.

 ### 29. Game Changer for Team Collaboration and Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2025

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has helped increase our teams performance across our company. It integrated seamlessly with all the tools we were already using and allowed us to replace tools as well. We did a lot of the onboarding ourselves, but it was intuitive and the free training materials ClickUp has are really well made and informative. The built in feature of Brain AI has allowed us to train Super Agents to help with tasks and also connect our company information to make it easily understand our business better. The cost for what it provides us is definitely worth it since we were able to systemize our business and increase overall performance across the board.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are some features that would be nice to have that ClickUp is working on, but it would be nice to have those features a little quicker.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to manage our business in one place. This replaced several apps we were using and combined them into one seamless place we could operate.

 ### 30. ClickUp: Streamlined Operations, AI Efficiency, Minor Access Hurdles

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Engji G. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate ClickUp serving as Tangoo's single source of truth, streamlining everything from client management to internal operations and advanced AI automations into one highly efficient digital operating system. It consolidates fragmented client data, provides clear reporting, allows teams to find files instantly, and connects our entire tech stack into one automated system. I like how its hierarchy from spaces and folders down to sub-folders and lists lets me perfectly isolate and organize each client's ecosystem. The native AI and automated agents eliminate the manual busywork of keeping it all running. The best part for me is how ClickUp's dashboards act as a live control center, pulling data from client folders, lists, and AI agents into clean visual reports, so I never have to guess about project health or team progress. Implementing setup for different clients with integration and now with Brain AI makes it much easier.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Form Permission Bottlenecks: When someone fills out a ClickUp form, they aren't automatically granted access to the task it creates. This forces a team member to manually add the submitter every single time just so that person can actually access and collaborate on the task.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp consolidates client data, streamlines reporting, and connects our tech stack, making operations efficient. It organizes client ecosystems and reduces manual work with AI, while dashboards provide clear project insights.

 ### 31. Flexible Task Management with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Norhan K. | Summer Intern, Tester, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp inside my organization to organize tasks and communicate with teammates by leaving comments and sharing documents. I like the flexibility and modularity of the system, where anything can be built or tailored for the needs of every team. We use spaces as incubators for projects, allowing us to have boards, docs, chats, and timelines for each project. The ability to give access to certain members on certain projects is great for abstraction and role definition. Overall, ClickUp resolves task ambiguity and helps us know what every team member is working on while tracking the actual time spent on tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes, ClickUp hangs where the main screen is just loading for a longer time than expected while the internet connection is fine. It happened to me personally a couple of times on the desktop app. When that happens, I switch to the website to finish whatever I need to do quickly.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize tasks, communicate within my team, and manage projects. It solves task ambiguity, clarifies team activities, and helps track task time. I like its flexibility and modularity, allowing customization for team needs.

 ### 32. Powerful All-in-One Dashboards, but a Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mallory R. | Operations Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how it is an all-in-one tool that can connect to every tool in my arsenal. I also love the My Work area where all my work aggregates for me across all the spaces in my Workspace. I also love the dashboards where I can get a high level view of my teams work at different levels of the hierarchy. It is all for one amazingly low price!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I dislike that it has a significant learning curve so it is not just an out of box solution. There are a lot of options on the screen that you have to learn how they function and behave. It is not the most intuitive to the first time user. We had to work quite a bit (a couple months) until we found a structure within our workspace that we liked. I also do not like that updates in Clickup are a bit laggy. You need to refresh the page often.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clickup is solving the need for our team to have a task management tool. Previously we were using Airtable to manage our tasks, but Airtable is a database tool. It does not have features like Recurring Tasks or project features for scrum and agile. It also did not have all the integrations and capabilities of Clickup.

 ### 33. Click Up: Flexible, Well-Priced, and Packed with Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Apurv M. | Sr. Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Click Up’s ability to integrate with a wide range of applications, combined with its ongoing efforts to expand those integration options, makes it my top choice among the project management and collaboration tools available. The product is priced at a point that is reasonable for the functionality it offers. It also offers great flexibility on the platform itself in terms of content organization and access control.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The UI can feel cluttered and hard to navigate at first, especially for a super user, because there are so many options and functions. I’ve also run into intermittent performance issues in both the app and the web interface.

I’d like to see document authoring made easier as well. Right now, all content has to be written directly in the UI to ensure formatting and tables render correctly. It’s essentially impossible to copy and paste from a Word document (for example) and keep the original formatting intact. The AI brain helps, but learning how to prompt it correctly is a slight learning curve.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work for a consulting firm with multiple projects running across multiple clients. Our biggest challenges were transparency, leadership visibility, and documentation.

First, it was hard to provide clear day-to-day transparency into what we were doing for clients unless they already had their own project management platforms like Jira, Asana, or Azure DevOps. Otherwise, maintaining status updates through email and Excel was cumbersome and non-standardized.

Second, leadership often had to scroll through multiple emails and Slack messages, or rely on weekly consolidated status updates for each project, which led to wasted time and energy.

Third, documentation was scattered across files uploaded to Google Drive and OneDrive, and sometimes it was even inaccessible because it lived on local computers. There were multiple scenarios where teams were reinventing the wheel due to siloed information.

Click Up was a silver bullet for us to solve all these problems and save a ton of time and energy. Yes, it was a learning curve and change for the whole organization. Frankly, adoption is still being pushed even after 9 months of onboarding Click Up. However, we have seen clear improvement in all areas across all engagements where adoption and best practices are followed. At the end of the day, click-up is effective only if you use it extensively everyday.

 ### 34. Marketing Campaign Management, High Learning Curve & Performance Lag

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhiren G. | Global Head of Events - Atos|Syntel, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClikckUp helps us manage marketing campaigns effectively. Starting with assigning tasks, tracking statuses, and improving team collaboration. The team can share documents, comment & chat within tasks itself. Most importantly we can generate the reports / dashboards we need—project-wise, segment-wise, and team-wise—as well as view individual/team bandwidth and other related details.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes, the platform’s extreme customizability creates a steep learning curve, which can lead to feature fatigue and slower onboarding for new marketing team members. The aggressive default notification settings often caused alert burnout, and as a result, users ended up missing critical campaign approvals or mentions. Even with a low-volume, single-workspace setup and only a few hundred tasks, we’re still experiencing performance lag—especially when loading dashboards or content calendars. Finally, the mobile experience doesn’t translate marketing hierarchies well, which makes it difficult for us to review briefs or approve creative assets while on the go.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like many marketing teams, we used spreadsheet-based campaign trackers and relied on fragmented communication across emails and chats. Now we have a unified Single Source of Truth that centralizes all briefs, tasks, and creative approvals in one place. This implementation has led to a 66% reduction in time spent in status meetings and a 25% boost in overall team productivity, driven by standardized templates. By eliminating the need to toggle between disparate apps, we’ve saved hundreds of hours annually and achieved a full ROI in under six months.

 ### 35. A flexible all-in-one platform for tracking project/product and team collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Panji Aria L. | Product Manager, Logistics and Supply Chain, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love having a centralized platform for managing my business, products, and tasks. The UI is intuitive and easy to use, making collaboration with my team seamless.

I manage multiple board types, such as Scrum and Kanban, and can switch between them effortlessly. I also appreciate the ability to customize fields and statuses to match each team's specific workflow.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Performance: Sometimes the loading times feel a bit sluggish when opening workspaces or boards containing massive amounts of data.

While editing a document, the system automatically inserts line breaks without me pressing the Enter key. It's confusing and take my time to refine it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more scattered documentation and increase my project visibility.

 ### 36. Essential for Organizing Tasks Efficiently

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karolina F. | Business Intelligence Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to organize my tasks, demands, notes, and studies. I like it a lot, it's a great task manager. It helps with delivering tasks on time, setting priorities, and organizing tasks. I like how practical, intuitive, and user-friendly it is, in addition to helping improve the quality of my deliveries. After I learned all the features it offers, it became very practical and quick to use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

at first I had difficulties, but after I learned all the features it offers, it becomes very practical and fast

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps in organizing tasks, demands, notes, and studies, ensuring on-time deliveries and priority setting. It is a practical, intuitive task manager and improves the quality of my deliveries.

 ### 37. Versatile App, But Frequent Bugs and Degraded Performance Hurt Reliability

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aaron S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The app can be configured and used in a lot of different ways. It’s versatile, and it really can plug into many things depending on how you set it up.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

They ship products way too quickly for their team size resulting in a massive number of bugs and broken features or degraded performance.

Sure the app always runs, but it's never running well.

In our workspace, we have had critical features go out for weeks at a time with a complete lack of urgency to resolve them.

There's truly so much potential here, but the degraded performance and bugs make it extremely frustrating.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A centralized app for our team to see all work and scale efficiently.

 ### 38. Everything I've been looking for in a PM tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephen Brent M. | Co-Chair, Marketing Edge and Agency Forum, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2020

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I enjoy the centralized Custom Fields and Recurring tasks manager that were added. It makes managing those areas of our workspace more seamless and easier to understand.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

A lot of the new feature development has been centered around AI, and while I understand that, the AI tools aren't as important for me and my organization. We already have a tech stack that relies on Claude, so adding ClickUp AI wouldn't save us money or eliminate tools. I'd like to see some level of focus on non-AI improvements.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has allowed us to streamline our PM process, move other processes such as goal tracking, job applications, etc. into one place. It has eliminated our need for a few other tools we were using.

**Official Response from Shanee Shepardson:**

> Hey, Stephen!

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying a productivity boost with ClickUp!

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all!

Have an amazing and productive day!

 ### 39. All-in-One Tool with Intuitive Features, Needs Mobile Refinements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teylor H. | Life Enrichment Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love that ClickUp is an 'all in one' platform, which means I can achieve more with fewer clicks and actions. I enjoy the task and subtask features, and I find the sheets and omnisearch to be the most satisfying parts of using it. It's particularly valuable for its integration practices, offering a cohesive experience compared to Google’s separate features.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The mobile app can get a little wonky, especially when offline or in offsite areas with less service. I also wish they would invest in more compatibility for the iPad or tablets to make it easier to use hands-on devices like my Apple pen. It can be intimidating and overwhelming for new users due to the absurd amount of access and features.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps with digital organizing and offers a platform for team communication. Its all-in-one integration and Omnisearch make task management satisfying by reducing clicks and streamlining actions.

 ### 40. ClickUp: Streamlining Work Management in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

createing task for phase wise handling projects and we can create sub tasks to achive them more effective manaer or share between team mates

workspace might be public or private restions

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

flexibility can make it feel overwhelming, especially for new users trying to understand the hierarchy and features. The interface can sometimes feel cluttered with too many options, which slows down onboarding. Additionally, performance can lag slightly when handling large workspaces, and setting up an efficient structure initially requires some planning and effort.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

bringing tasks, communication, and project tracking into one platform. Instead of switching between multiple tools, everything is organized in a single place, which improves clarity and reduces confusion. This benefits me by helping me manage tasks more efficiently, track progress easily, and stay aligned with deadlines and priorities without missing important work

 ### 41. Real-time dashboards that simplify team reporting and tracking

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giovanny M. | Analista, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What really convinced me were the real-time Dashboards. Instead of spending hours creating weekly reports in Excel for management, I created a panel with bar charts that updates itself. It shows the workload of each designer, how many tasks we completed in the week, and the budget and time spent.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Email notifications sometimes do not arrive or are delayed, which is necessary for report automation but fails.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem it solved for me was having thousands of tabs open and losing information. Before ClickUp, we had a brutal operational chaos, many spreadsheets everywhere and nothing centralized, key information was buried in chats or comments in documents that no one could find again.

 ### 42. ClickUp Keeps My Work Organized and On Track

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christiana C. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp gives me structure without slowing me down. I can plan, prioritize, and track my work from one place, which keeps my projects organized and my deadlines on track. It's flexible enough to fit how I work rather than forcing me to adapt to the tool.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

At first, I found ClickUp a bit overwhelming because there are so many features to explore. It took me a little while to understand how everything worked, but once I got the hang of it, using it became much more straightforward.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the challenge of keeping work organized. It helps me track deadlines, monitor progress, and stay accountable, which has improved my productivity.

 ### 43. All-in-One Tool with Powerful Connectors for Chat, Tickets, and Docs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Henrik G. | Dozent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Mostly everything I need is in one tool: chat, tickets, and documentation. And whatever isn’t included can easily be connected via the powerful connectors (Google Drive, Dropbox, and the like). I also like the Claude connector, because it gives me a great opportunity to use Claude and create tickets with AI.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The mobile app still needs improvement. It feels clunky, and while it seems like everything is included, it’s not quite there yet. I’m also missing certain functionalities.

On top of that, adding users is a tedious process, and occasionally you hit limits where ClickUp then wants to charge you extra.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps with collaborating with others, documenting things, and keeping information aligned.

 ### 44. Total flexibility: tables, Kanban, and Gantt in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristian N. | Product Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the flexibility of their views on the same database. In my team, every mind is different; the designers hate tables and prefer the Kanban board, the developers go straight to the to-do list, and I, as the project leader, need the Gantt chart to control the delivery deadlines. All in one place.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It is good to tackle multiple functionalities, but having so many benefits also means a steep learning curve. Even though instructions arrive, there are so many options that there might be some that go unused.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, the broken phone was a mess, everyone did what they wanted, now I can control who and what each person does, even talking to the team via chat and assigning some kind of priority.

 ### 45. A Success Story in Agile Project Management at a Digital Transformation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sergio C. | Digital Transformation Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

AI agents—especially since there’s an agent store, which makes it easier for those who don’t have the skills to create one. I use them a lot to prepare executive progress reports and focus on what’s most important.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The interface is a little confusing. I understand that it’s a challenge for an all-in-one tool, but the team still gets lost and ends up using only a little more than half of the features.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as the main tool in our Digital Transformation office. We also use it as a help desk for requests for psychometric assessments of staff. It has greatly simplified project management and all Scrum processes.

 ### 46. Ultimate Tool for Organized and Seamless Solo Business Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherrise E. | Founder and Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I absolutely love the task management system of ClickUp and really love the easily structured files and folders. It has provided one place to keep everything, which helps me continue building, changing, and adapting as I progress. ClickUp allows me to easily share information with others who might help me on a project and keeps all my business details and tasks organized. It's super easy and intuitive to set up, so I didn't need a lot of outside assistance, which is part of why I love it. The platform helps me track everything and communicate effectively with others daily, making collaboration easier. I also appreciate that documents can be referenced in tasks and vice versa, along with the ability to mention and tag people. Ultimately, ClickUp has been amazing for managing my work as a solopreneur.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I'm trying to understand how to use the super agents, and I'm still struggling with that a little bit. I should have watched more videos on how to set things up originally. I just kind of did it on my own. I think maybe more use cases, especially for my situation as a solo founder, could be helpful. I would like if I could contact ClickUp through chat GPT more easily, without using a program like Make.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Given that I have a product based business (www.GiddyupGlove.com) and also a kids podcast (Giddyup Guide to the Galaxy: Mindfulness Stories for Kids), I am constantly doing many different things at the same time. ClickUp centralizes all my business details, preventing information scatter. It facilitates project sharing, task management, and documentation, making it easier to build, adapt, and collaborate. I can store product development details and tasks in one place, which keeps me organized.

 ### 47. ClickUp’s Flexible Structure Makes Complex Workflows Truly Manageable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tiago S. | Head de Produtos Digitais , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp offers a remarkable level of flexibility for teams that need to model complex workflows. The hierarchical structure of Spaces, Folders, and Lists — combined with custom fields and multiple views — makes it possible to build a real execution system, not just a to-do list. The ability to connect tasks across different contexts (like OKR tracking alongside operational work) is genuinely powerful once configured correctly. That said, it takes significant upfront investment to get the structure right, and multi-list tracking can still feel overwhelming in day-to-day use. For teams willing to put in that effort, the visibility and traceability it enables are hard to find elsewhere.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest frustration is that ClickUp's training materials are fragmented and siloed. They teach features in isolation — how to create a task, how to set up a view — but never show how to connect everything across an entire company. For teams trying to use ClickUp as a unified execution system (not just a personal task manager), this gap is significant. It's hard to onboard cross-functional teams and build a shared working culture when the official guidance doesn't address how different areas should collaborate, share visibility, or hand off work to each other. The learning curve ends up falling entirely on internal champions, which slows adoption and makes it difficult to get the whole organization aligned on a single system.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We adopted ClickUp with the goal of connecting strategic planning and operational execution in a single platform — centralizing OKR tracking, project workflows, and cross-functional visibility. The potential is clearly there, but we haven't fully realized those benefits yet. The main barrier has been the difficulty of getting the entire organization to work within the same system consistently. We're still in the process of building that discipline internally. The platform has the right capabilities for what we need; the challenge is bridging the gap between a well-designed structure and actual company-wide adoption.

 ### 48. Powerful Custom Workflows, But Performance Can Be Slow

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Luca S. | Fachinformatiker für Anwendungsentwicklung (german), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has many features that allow me to build my own productivity workflows with custom fields.

For example, we once built a workflow where we defined the bonus for each task in a custom variable, which then could easily be set and read for the payout.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is in most cases pretty slow when it comes to reacting to something or loading sites.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us organize tasks and projects in one central place, assign responsibilities clearly, and keep track of progress at any time. This reduces information getting lost in chats or emails, makes priorities clearer, and improves teamwork. It is especially useful for managing recurring tasks, deadlines, and project updates, which saves time and helps us react faster.

 ### 49. ClickUp Became the Backbone of Our Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David M. | Senior Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I've been using ClickUp for over 4 years now, and it's become the backbone of how I manage projects — whether it's my internal team, personal tasks, or client-facing work.Before ClickUp, the chaos was real. Tasks scattered across emails, spreadsheets, and chat threads. Now everything lives in one place, and my team knows exactly what's happening at every stage of a project.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Share the knowledge with my entire team, it's hard for them and keep everything updated

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As someone who runs full project methodology end-to-end, I rely heavily on ClickUp's flexibility — being able to switch between list, board, and Gantt views depending on whether I'm doing sprint planning, tracking deliverables, or presenting progress to a client is a game changer. The ability to have separate spaces for internal work and client collaboration without losing context is something I genuinely couldn't do without now.

 ### 50. ClickUp Keeps Everything Organized with Flexible Views and Powerful Customization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gowtham E. | Paid Marketing Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how everything is organized in one place without feeling too messy. It’s really flexible, so I can switch between list, board, or calendar views depending on what I need. I also like how easy it is to break tasks into smaller subtasks and keep track of progress.

Another thing I appreciate is the customization. I can adjust statuses, fields, and workflows to match how I actually work instead of forcing myself into a fixed system. Overall, it helps me stay organized and saves time by reducing the need to jump between multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that it can feel overwhelming at first because there are so many features and settings to explore. It takes some time to fully understand how everything works.

Also, the interface can occasionally feel a bit slow or cluttered, especially when working on larger projects with many tasks and views. This can slightly affect the overall user experience.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp offers a clean and modern UI, though it can feel slightly cluttered at times due to the number of features available. Once familiar, the UX becomes smooth, with flexible views like list, board, and calendar making navigation easier.

It integrates well with popular tools, which helps connect workflows without needing to constantly switch platforms. Performance is generally reliable, but there can be occasional slowdowns when handling large projects.

In terms of pricing, it provides strong value for money considering the wide range of features included. This makes it a good option for both individuals and teams looking to maximize ROI.

The onboarding process takes a bit of time because of the feature depth, but there are helpful resources available. Customer support is responsive and useful when needed.

The AI features are a nice addition, helping with task creation and content suggestions, though there is still room for improvement as they continue to evolve.
