Second is sometimes whenever I attach tasks via the Google Chrome extension, I need to sign in to the Google Chrome extension to attach the email to a certain ClickUp task. In our case, we use it to generate a table directly in the task description, pulling in detailed information based on the form submission details. This lets our users enter only minimal information, while Brain fills in the key details by referencing relevant links or previous tasks submitted in ClickUp. **What do you dislike about ClickUp?** Because several of our requirements are not natively supported in ClickUp, we currently rely on Agents to handle certain workarounds. One example is passing custom field values from a parent task to its subtasks. Also, the harnessing for the agent on custom field passing down is not always successful as the agent sometimes fail to pass field values depending on its type. Such as multi label. As the build becomes more complex, another limitation is the lack of a dependency or “wait” mechanism between automations. When multiple automations are triggered around the same time, a static automation cannot wait for an Agent to finish before continuing. For example, an Agent may still be populating a custom field when a static automation checks that field. If the Agent has not completed its action, the static automation may interpret the field as empty and skip the intended workflow. Having the ability for one automation to wait until another automation or Agent action is completed would help prevent these timing conflicts and make more complex workflows significantly more reliable. I've primarily used the list option for my purposes so far, but knowing I can easily create other projects with what seems almost endless types of views, from familiar kahn bahn or timeline (calendar) but there are expansions into mindmap for the more visual freeform approach, etc. The free version has allowed me a huge efficiency boost in tracking a lengthy employment search, being the source of truth for my applications and references to different tailored resumes and cover letters. I have honestly surprised some recruiters in being able to tell them if I'd already applied or known about positions they suggest - down to the date I'd contacted a company, and even who I worked with. I feel I've only scratched the surface of the tool and primarily within my one main project, but I could use ClickUp for my personal and work needs, I think it would outshine team management for almost all others I've tried, using Asana, Monday.com, and MS Teams in professional settings with team management, and the ability to easily track projects and initiatives with a group. I honestly tried the platform simply for the ability to use the free option as a start, hoping the proof of concept would suffice, and it's shown me that I haven't even begun to uncover the possibilities. It's easy enough to use with a specific goal in mind, even without diving into true customizations or deeper settings. However, in doing so, with the upgraded options and ability to really customize the interface and interdependencies, ClickUp would provide an amazingly robust platform for complex projects with many dependent pieces and stakeholders. I save hours with the basic setup and performance as my basis for approach on my main project and want to use it for more and more. **What do you dislike about ClickUp?** I have to work quite hard to find reasons to dislike anything about ClickUp. One slight hangup is something that is common across many platform interfaces in list format: when in a detail view of a subtask (or even a sub-subtask) it can be easy to misread or not notice at which level one is at and accidentally ascribe a task, note, or even date to the wrong level. Right now I’m in a very crucial period of my life. I have about two immediate goals and one long-term goal, and I need to balance around two goals’ worth of tasks every day. I’m constantly checking what’s left to be done, so I sort my ClickUp, check it daily, and tick off what’s done. That’s honestly the most satisfying part of using ClickUp for me.

With ClickUp, I don’t have to rely on remembering everything or using typical sticky notes, and it’s much easier to pick up where I left off. Overall, the due-date visibility, the ability to set priorities for each task, and the status options make my planning way easier and more organized than I naturally am.

This is app like is high performing app with no hang, i mean this app never unsaved my already loaded work and honestly speaking its really very smooth to use , as long user of it, i am currently using the free version which is being free still and yet highly useful for organizing my tasks, to dos's, work and goals. At first, when i started using it, the platform felt a bit overwhelming because there is so many features, i feel like that i still have not explored all the possibilities in clickUp, but once i understood the basic structure it became real easier. AI summary that part i used, that is more than i needed and it is really helpful for me to give quick read , apart from that, i have not yet used every other AI feature of clickUp, i would rather not comment much on that.

Another thing to mention, to explore more options and high end features, i haven't yet thinking of buying packages since i am comfortable as it is now, and i sill prefer a free version. Overall, it support me in managing, organizing, and carrying out tasks effectively and efficiently. **What do you dislike about ClickUp?** When I first started using it, it felt a bit tough and somewhat overwhelming because there are so many features, options, and settings. Another aspect is that the status does not update in real-time. Until you interact with the person, you don't realize their current status, and then sometimes you send or ask for things and when you've already sent the message you realize they're on their lunch break, for example. Also, despite integrating with the Google calendar, the status does not automatically update with your calendar sessions, something that Slack does, for example, so you have to manually set all the time you are busy in a meeting and sometimes you can forget. **Recommendations to others considering ClickUp:** Recommendations for improvement include allowing users to manually set their status to offline, ensuring real-time status updates, and automatic synchronization with calendar sessions. **What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, a manual board was used to review the status of projects.
