The only thing I dislike about ClickUp is the way AI tokens/credits work. I usually update my information using MCP and Claude, but it still ends up consuming ClickUp’s AI credits. That’s the issue for me: I feel like I’m just using Claude for the artificial intelligence, yet ClickUp is the one charging the credits for it. I find ClickUp very intuitive. I was worried I’d have to spend a lot of time learning it, but it was pretty easy to set up and took me less than an hour. I like being able to color-code and organize things, and tailor the platform to what works for my brain. Color coding catches my attention and helps me set priorities. I can view a timeline and sort by date, which helps me know what’s next or due soonest. ClickUp helps me remember deadlines, when to deliver or return clothing, and to follow up with vendors, seamstresses, brands, and PR people. I like being able to link files, emails, and other projects to a task so I don’t have to dig for them. I think ClickUp is worth it when I handle a lot of projects. The different features and views that I can have and adapt to every part of my projects. It allows me to centralize all information in one software: create views of what's important on demand, prioritize, download assets or information for my clients, and share only the necessary information with vendors.

For someone who works alone, handles projects with loads of stages, information, and steps to coordinate ClickUp is particularly helpful because it's so visual that there is no way I can miss anything.

The start and the functions are not very intuitive at the beginning; it can be overwhelming because there's so much to check!

I used the integration with Monday to transfer my tasks from there and it was seamless. I just had to tweak and do some reorganization after but nothing major.

I have some very long documents and regarding its performance, it works just fine. Sometimes the text in those document blurs out for a second where I can't type, but after that it's all back to normal.

I use the free version so far, so I can say that it's a good deal price/value. No comments about pricing or ROI, but I have seen some comments of colleagues who use the paid version and they are so far satisfied with it.

I haven't made use of the support that ClickUp offers during onboarding because I'm an adventurer haha but I will definitely pay them a call when I face some trouble with more complex tasks.

I find the AI tools and agents in ClickUp to be a game changer, especially with Brain 2. I love the new possibilities they've opened up, and we're just beginning to experiment with them. Tasks that used to take long hours are now done automatically, which is truly remarkable, and the interactions with Brain 2 blow my mind. I am impressed by the level of complexity it handles and the variety of interactions possible with different AI databases, the creation of presentations, and the interconnectivity of spaces and tasks. We are transitioning to be more ClickUp centric, using it for emails, meetings, calendars, and customer training since it provides so many tools. Setting up ClickUp was very easy, and it's simple to do for our customers too, especially with all the new tools. Overall, we can do a whole lot more with ClickUp now than when we started. I believe that the Dashboard measurements and formulas could be better, since we work with logistics, there are a lot of metrics that are specific to this business and they are a bit difficult to replicate with the types of Dashboards currecntly available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can create multiple spaces, folders, and lists to organize my tasks and keep track of all the little things. Email integrations are a game changer, turning emails into tasks, letting me send emails directly from my tasks while keeping track of replies, and CCing my ClickUp task in emails that didn't originate from a task so it shows as a comment. This allows others to be able to pick up the context of a task if they need to jump in or review something. Brain2 is amazing! I've used it to help draft emails, to create artifacts (documents, spreadsheets, slides, etc.), to organize and restructure projects for better productivity, to complete large-scale updates to a list or tasks (Two examples: 1) add these 7 subtasks to all tasks in this list or 2) create a relationship to all tasks that mention XYZ), analyze workloads for yourself or your team, prioritize tasks, etc. Super agents are awesome for repetitive work that can run on a programmed cadence or when you need them. It's basically the same work I would ask Brain to do, but it automates it when I create the agent, and I don't have to re-explain what I want done. I can also collaborate with my whole team (@mention them in tasks, assign comments, add and share tasks, and email from tasks for those who don't have ClickUp accounts). There are so many features in ClickUp that it can be hard to get the hang of and use effectively. We have many people on our team who are not accustomed to this level of technology, and it has been a challenging to switch our team into this system. I've been using ClickUp for a couple years, but we just switched some of our team members to this within the past 90 days, and it's finally starting to click. We also invested in a consultant. There's truth to the statement that you get out of it what you put into it. Without making some effort to learn the program, you won't be able to use it to its potential. Once you figure it out though, the possibilities are endless! Also, I submitted a support ticket this year for an error that was causing other people's tasks to show up on my calendar/planner. It took almost two months for them to resolve the issue, and there was minimal follow-up on my ticket until it was complete, so I couldn't tell if they were still working on it or not. What I like most about ClickUp is how much of our operations it can keep in one place. As a small consulting firm, we rely on it for time tracking across clients, intake forms, and task management. The time data has become the backbone of our client profitability reporting, as well as our weekly team hours tally. I’ve also started using Super Agents to automate recurring work, such as drafting our Monday timesheet summary, which saves time and helps the team stay focused on where their hours are going. The biggest limitation for us is integration. Our Super Agent can’t read the Google Sheets trackers we rely on, so we often have to work around it or end up tracking the same things in more than one place. It's not intuitive, and I'm having trouble getting wider adoption in my department (my team uses the heck out of it!!). Reminders are not as impactful as I would hope, and I want AI to always be optional. (This is largely true, but if I press Enter/Return on my keyboard at the end of a search, the AI search automatically pops up and is far less useful than my hard-earned ability to design and iterate search strings.
