**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

My favorite part of clickup is just how customizable it is. I mainly use it for task management, and I absolutely love that when creating a task, you can / and modify just about any field about it. It makes it simple and efficient to add everything you need in one go, without having to create the task and then click into it and manually click for every field you need to edit. 

As much as I love the name ClickUp, what I love more is how many clicks it eliminates!

It is intuitive, and the click-and-drag-ability makes it simple to do anything I have ever needed to do within the program. I recommend ClickUp to my peers professionally and personally at every opportunity - and I do use it for personal task management as well. Every time I need to do something within ClickUp, I intuitively know where it is and how to do it, and I am correct in my assumptions.

Lastly, I love how AI features are optional and non-intrusive. With other products, I have had to manually block every feature using uBlock Origin just in order to feel like I can breathe, let alone do my job. Meanwhile, ClickUp remains blessedly free of those interruptions. I love that my task management program is not constantly implying that I am not good enough at my job or simply creating to-do lists.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I joined a few years ago back when the UI was simpler. I'm not a fan of how the UI keeps changing again and again, with no ability to go back to a previous version. Needing to relearn the UI or re-adjust to the amount of whitespace - while seeming small - does provide a hindrance to my workflow. 

Additionally, it seems as though these improvements have caused a longer load time. Any day of the week, I would prefer a simpler UI to one that looks fancier but takes a few seconds to load. It is jolting to my process, and - as somebody with ADHD - throws off my train of thought, which can set me back minutes to hours. Load speed is an accessibility concern. With 6% of adults being estimated to have ADHD - and likely more, due to ADHD making it difficult to schedule appointments or consultations or complete studies - this is likely affecting a large percentage of your userbase. Especially when folks with ADHD will try numerous task management products.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp allows me to easily create team tasks, allow visibility on a per-list basis, and functionally keep my thoughts in a place. Customizable lists, boards, and views all feel as natural to me as breathing. 

Project management and organizing what different people need to do is something that was previously difficult to assign and track. With ClickUp, everything becomes simpler. 

Something that is not regularly acknowledged is that software and products are as important as furniture. With many jobs being fully online, your digital environment becomes a second house. My programs are my furniture. My desktop is my walls. My apps are my kitchen appliances. Ease of use and natural feel are paramount to having a good work experience. When I need to use another similar program, I feel myself yearning for ClickUp.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has been a great platform for improving productivity, organization, and team collaboration. The UI/UX is intuitive and highly customizable, making it easy to adapt the platform to different workflows and preferences. There is a learning curve because of how many features are available, but once everything is set up, it becomes a powerful all-in-one workspace.

The AI capabilities are one of the standout features. ClickUp Intelligence helps with writing, summarizing, brainstorming, and improving efficiency by reducing time spent on repetitive tasks. The platform’s integrations also make it easy to connect existing tools and keep everything centralized.

From a pricing perspective, ClickUp provides strong value compared to many alternatives, especially considering the number of features included. The ROI comes from saving time, improving visibility across projects, and reducing the need for multiple separate tools.

Performance has been reliable, and the platform continues to evolve with meaningful updates. Customer support has also been responsive and helpful when assistance is needed. Overall, ClickUp is a flexible and intelligent project management solution that can significantly improve productivity for both individuals and teams.

The biggest downside is that ClickUp can feel overwhelming at first due to the number of features and customization options available. It takes some time to learn how to structure workflows effectively. The platform is very powerful, but users looking for a simple task manager may find it more complex than necessary. Some larger workspaces can also experience occasional performance slowdowns.

It is saving me time, work, and just allowing me to be much more efficient on a daily basis and find extra time to focus and declutter.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The best thing is easy to use. Email integration is great. The price is fair compaired to other options. It never crashes and its unlimited cloud is fantastic. Support is very helpful, although an spanish support will be better.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

AI isn't good enough. What I dislike is the pricing tiers. There are some security features that should be in every enterprise plan, such as private spaces. The configuration is not easy as I would like. Probably you would need a programmer when you need some special configuration,

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project History is now all in the same place, and easy to find. Before ClickUp it was everything on e-mails, but you need hours to find the history. Besides, now it is really easy to see the status of every project, the work load, and any member of the team could step up on a project and know almost everything about it.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It's a real all-in-one, the team said goodbye to the countless tabs in the browser and multiple platforms for multiple things. With Docs, objectives turn into tasks instantly and everything is centralized.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is quite long, knowing all the functions to see which one suits your profile is almost infinite, but once you discard and stick with what works for you, everything is very good and smooth.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The disconnection between speaking and doing hasn't ended; now everything is documented and assigned to time. Add to that the fact that time and progress supervision is great and user-friendly. Everything remains in the chat or in the conversation history of each task.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It is very easy to organise tasks, and spaces, share with different teams, and the chat usage that creates tasks from there is amazing also. The navigation is amazing, it is cost effective for the business as we have one tool for all. AI integration is also a plus, helping us navigate through tasks quicker. Integration with google calendar helps the day to day in addition to task management. The app performs quickly there is no delay and if there is something wrong with performance in any way the support team is quick to help.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There is nothing really I dislike, one point that we wish we had was integration with peer to peer recognition, like with the matter app and slack, clickup is missing that.

my day to day routine is flawless with Clickup, and the sprint creation and automation is a god send

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The versatility in views - meaning however a team member may prefer to view their tasks- it's possible. You're not pigeonholed into one way of working or viewing. The AI agents are nice as well, but I'm still learning how to build and deploy those.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

No major dislikes so far. It's taking some time to think about how to structure things moving over from a Kanban Board forward system to how ClickUp functions, but I think this effort is worth it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're cutting our tech stack in half, which pays for ClickUp. We're creating automations with the AI, and we're not having to start from scratch with all of the integrations. Plus, this is going to improve our clarity in project management.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp is THE best tool for my business.  Before it, I was navigating a very dark sea of random paper notes, my inbox, and my notes app on my phone as my "project management system".  With ClickUp, I was able to systematize my business operations and the best part of all is I was able to save a TON of time.  My most favorite feature is the time tracker and the ability to run reports on my time and business efficiencies through dashboards.  I love that this company is innovative and forward thinking, and I'm thrilled for what is to come and be a part of that in some way!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp has no downsides and my only regret is not getting on board sooner!  I think every business should be using ClickUp for their business.  I'd vote for a "School of ClickUp" where newbies learn the basics and earn different levels depending on their expertise!

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's saving me so much time by not needing to go back and forth to accessing documents and links.  It's intuitive and helpful in creating a routine for myself on a monthly, weekly, and even daily basis.  I also use it for my personal life in addition to my business use, so I'm definitely a fan.

The platform is very intuitive; I've joined a new team recently and it made my organization and learning much easier. I love that web can have documents all together with the daily task so we have everything in one place. We also used it's pulic documents to send some instructions to our clients and it worked perfectly.

Its took my a while to learn how to use the task that were inside other tasks.

We are a small team within a startup, which means that although communication is more direct, each person handles a large number of tasks across different areas. Being able to create separate lists for the various products and responsibilities each team member works on helps keep everything much more organized.

What I like most about ClickUp is its all-in-one approach to managing tasks, projects, docs, and goals within a single platform. 1-From a value perspective, ClickUp offers a strong ROI considering the wide range of features available in one platform. However, storage limitations can be a concern for teams dealing with large volumes of files. 2- One of the main areas for improvement is performance. The application sometimes takes time to load, which can affect productivity, especially during intensive daily usage. 3- I can't use automation because of the free plan

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to track all my client projects and personal goals. I love how I can create different lists, set due dates, and use the Kanban board. It replaced 3 other apps for me - notes, tasks, and calendar all in one. ClickUp solved the problem of juggling Google Docs, Trello, and a calendar separately by putting tasks, docs, goals, and chat all in one place. I love that ClickUp replaces 4-5 different tools: Tasks, Docs, Goals, Whiteboards, and Calendar — everything is in one place. I don't have to switch between apps anymore, which saves me so much time. Tasks are my main hub where I break big projects into subtasks with due dates and priorities so nothing slips. In Docs, I keep all meeting notes, SOPs, and project briefs linked to the right task. I set monthly targets and track progress with Goals, which keeps me motivated as I can see the % completion. Whiteboards are perfect for brainstorming and mapping out ideas before turning them into tasks. The Calendar lets me see all deadlines in one view, so I never double-book myself. Having all of these connected makes ClickUp valuable because I don't lose context switching between apps.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I find the mobile app to be a bit slow and overwhelming with so many features. Sometimes it takes a few taps to do simple things. Also, there are so many customization options that it can feel confusing for new users. A better onboarding tutorial would help.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Clickup’s UI and overall readability are incredibly user-friendly, and it’s easy to pick up when onboarding new users. You don’t need to be tech-savvy to understand what goes where, since everything has a clear function. Being able to tailor each individual space to fit specific departmental needs is key in a good project management software, and Clickup delivers that without needless menus or bloat.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My only issues with Clickup are purely based within the context of my companies use case & how our programs manager has structured our software specifically. I'm sure utilizing integration with additional software, or restructuring the software would solve my gripes, since it is likely Clikcup already has the capabilities I would like to some degree. Since our companies projects are based heavily on custom work, with many departments required to complete tasks in specific order for things to function efficiently, I would prefer some sort of qualification process that would limit a users ability to modify a project until other portions, or other projects are completed in there entirety.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a small business with lots of moving parts, Clickup has helped centralize many key points of information in a readable, easy-to-access platform, which helps prevent projects from falling through the cracks. As a Sales Project Manager who collaborates with and oversees work across every department, I appreciate being able to compartmentalize each team so they can operate with only the information they need to complete a project. Combined with the added structure it brings to workflows and information gathering, managing projects and sales feels far more feasible than it did before.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find ClickUp amazing for running my teaching style because I can create many different kinds of views and chat with my students. The ability to assign homework and evaluate through automations has made things a lot faster than before. Preparing for lessons, creating visual exercises, and having online classes are a breeze with ClickUp. It even allows me to create dashboards for students and parents. I love the whiteboard feature for my online sessions, especially for teaching globally recognized exams like IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT. The capability to create tables, docs, and interactive HTML codes that I can share instantly is fantastic. Custom views are a favorite as I can adjust them for each space and list, and these views are really helpful for managing my students’ band scores in IELTS. I also appreciate how the custom views help in understanding what students need to focus on and what they excel at, providing a great visual dashboard experience for both myself and my students.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think that we should be able to share Microsoft Excel sheets just as well as Google Sheets. Maybe when having online meetings, there can be a feature where multiple people can share their screen and beat all other platforms where it’s not possible. There can be automated messaging, automated calling even with an AI tool. The setup was kind of hard due to the many great qualities ClickUp offers, which might be a bit hard for people who are new to this.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to streamline teaching by creating various views, chatting with students, assigning homework, and using automations. The whiteboard is amazing for online sessions, and customizable views help evaluate students' needs and scores effectively.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the automations in ClickUp because they save a lot of time by reducing the need to repeat basic tasks, like filling in fields such as due dates and assignees for specific types of tasks. I also appreciate the trackability and visibility of the team's tasks and project progress that ClickUp offers. It really helps streamline marketing requirements for other departments using forms, and the various views like Gantt and list view are great for planning. Managing workload and identifying bottlenecks is also much easier with ClickUp.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The list view lags a lot sometimes. I've often noticed glitches when creating subtasks, and the Gantt view lags way too much. Remapping dependencies in the Gantt view is horrendous. These issues slow me down and frustrate me at times when I am on a time crunch. The learning curve was steep; it took a lot of time and a lot of YouTube videos to set up the workspaces, custom fields, automations, and forms for task intake.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp enhances trackability, provides visibility over team tasks, and streamlines marketing requirements with forms. I use Gantt and list views for planning, manage workloads, and identify bottlenecks. Automations save us time on repetitive tasks like filling fields.

I really like the multiple views, switching between List for detailed planning and Board for quick overviews makes managing work much easier. Assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and tracking progress all in one spot has cut down on a lot of confusion. The customer fields are flexible enough to fit exactly my team needs without feeling too complicated once set up.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It can feel cluttered at first, I had to watch few tutorials to get comfortable. Also, when we load up a lot of tasks and custom stuff, the performance dips occasionally.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the issue of poor visibility and scattered tasks that we had before. We used to rely on email threads from random spreadsheets, and quick slack messages, things got lost easily and it was hard to know who was working on what.
Now with ClickUp, everything is centralized. We have clearer accountability, fewer missed deadlines, and the team stays more aligned without needing daily check-ins. Time tracking and simple dashboards help us see progress faster, and features like sub tasks and dependencies keep complex projects from falling apart. It’s helped become more organized overall.

I like using ClickUp for task tracking in my small bookkeeping business because it keeps tasks and projects organized for specific clients, so no details get missed. It's a versatile platform that lets us edit as best fit for our needs. The timesheet/time tracking feature helps us better track each employee's time spent per client, which makes billing invoices more efficient.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Timesheets can't be exported without using a dashboard, which feels like an extra step that could be simpler if there was an export option within the timesheet itself. Some tasks don't always populate when trying to input time spent in the timesheet portion. It would be helpful if the owner or admin could export all timesheets as one in the timesheet section. The initial setup was fair, but a bit complex for some to grasp.

ClickUp keeps our tasks and projects organized, shows us what everyone is working on, and helps track each employee's time per client for efficient billing invoices.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp because everything is sorted neatly, which makes handling tasks and subtasks very efficient. I love that when there's a main task, related subtasks can be easily managed, which helps in keeping everything streamlined. The communication feature within ClickUp is fantastic, as I don't have to jump to any other communication tools like Slack or WhatsApp to discuss updates; ClickUp's chat feature allows me to easily check in with colleagues about task progress directly in the app, which I find very convenient. Overall, the setup was quite basic for me, given my background with other project management software. The labeling feature that marks tasks as complete once finished is also a nice touch, making task management smooth.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Nothing, I love everything that makes my task so easy!

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find that ClickUp sorts everything out, manages my tasks, and integrates my communication, making task assignment and follow-ups seamless. It’s very convenient, and I can easily assign tasks and chat with my team without switching tools.

I like that ClickUp is very dynamic, which is essential for my daily remote work, as it facilitates the creation of requests and client inquiries, time organization, tasks, and team communication. Also, if I need help, the agents are available to assist me with anything I don't know how to do. I also find the initial setup intuitive, which has been very helpful as the application has evolved.

I would like to be able to make it so that the same task can have its time divided by the day worked, even if it is the same task.

I love the custom fields flexibility in ClickUp, which allows us to create detailed entities and enhances user experience and data quality. The ClickUp notetaker is wonderful, making transcriptions and key topics available for brain functionality, helping us find answers from previous discussions. We use ClickUp for almost everything, especially project management, and have found it very helpful for tracking time, sprint management, and task management. It's also an easy-to-use front end for loading important information that we can use to create dashboards. ClickUp unified our task management, replacing multiple systems like Basecamp and Project Online. Setting it up was simple because we started small, making users comfortable with the platform before introducing complex processes. I also appreciate the AI features that help us learn about ClickUp and how to use it effectively.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

We'd love to have more levels of subfolders, they help a lot to organize our information. It would be also great if we could have different kinds of users with different prices, since in most companies the majority of users don't need a lot of features and they could be simpler and cheaper. One of the features that must be improved asap is dashboards, it seems they have been left behind since we saw no updates regarding dashboards for a long time. They are very limited especially when you need to combine time-tracked information with custom fields. They are also unable to calculate metrics or simple math operations.

Keeping track of multiple tasks in one place, along with reminders for when tasks are due or overdue, helps me stay on top of my work without issues. The automations have also made moving tasks through different phases as simple as the click of a button. The ClickUp notetakers have made life much easier when I’m dealing with multiple client meetings, and they give me a clear list of tasks coming out of each meeting. Overall, having everything organized has made my workflow much easier to manage.

I haven’t experienced many downsides to ClickUp overall. The main issue I’ve run into is that, when I’m trying out new tools within the platform, the tutorials can feel a bit more complicated than they need to be. That said, it isn’t a major setback, and it may not be an issue for everyone.

Working with multiple clients, each with different time allotted, can make it hard to keep track of where my hours are going. ClickUp’s time tracking and estimation has been a huge problem solver for me. The tracking is accurate, and it’s easy to adjust if I make a mistake. We need advanced resource forecasting tools for predicting and planning. Also, field-level permissions to hide sensitive custom data would be beneficial. Implementing an automation sandbox with rollback logs would help prevent broken rule loops from creating data chaos in complex workspaces.

I love how ClickUp updates almost every week with new tools and features, with most of them being asked by us, the customers. That means they listen to their audience. I like the new look n feel, it improved the UI/UX a lot. I also loved the new whiteboard experience. I also found amazing the new agents features though I'm not really using them.

I still have cache issues some times, I tell my team that they didn't update the status of their tasks just to find out that they did but I had to refresh in order to see them updated.

I genuinely love the interface and the overall experience of using Click Up. It’s definitely a complex tool, but it can handle heavier workloads like managing social media content, daily tasks, recurring tasks, and even sub-tasks and sub-sub-tasks, along with plenty more. I also like that I can sync briefs from Google Drive into Click Up, which makes it much easier to keep everything organized in one place.

The most helpful parts of Click Up for me are the Calendar View and the Timeline View. They make it much easier to plan and manage my work, and to quickly see what’s coming up next.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Because of its complexity, some people need time to learn the interface, and others—like my team—find it difficult to understand. Some users prefer project management tools that are easier to use and allow them to organize their work effortlessly.

I love the automations in ClickUp. I appreciate the super agents, and I find the ability to transcribe meetings particularly useful, which allows me to quickly create tasks from those meetings. I record every meeting to have a repository of all my work, and I use the brain feature to reference old calls to ensure I'm not missing anything. This helps me systemize the calls and execute tasks more efficiently. The integration with Claude via MCP and API enables me to do a lot more work much faster.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some of the integrations with Gmail and Google Calendar don't always sync correctly. Also, I'd like super agents to be a little bit more intuitive in working with the Google Workspace.

The flexibility of ClickUp is the best, followed by how it is organized. I love having the combination of a communication/chat platform together with the full fledged project manager. For what you receive in ClickUp, the pricing is so much better than what you receive with other companies. The platform is fast and I love that I have so many integrations I can use. I have not had to use their support yet so I can't speak to it. We haven't used any of the AI features yet just due to cost at the moment.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My only dislike with Clickup is that the platform does seem a little cramped. I think if items had a little more breathing room, particularly in Navigation. I feel the navigation either needs to have a larger font or more space in between navigation items. I also think the tabs for lists, chats, and spaces need to be larger and more spaced out as well.

Overall project management is the number one thing that ClickUp is helping our business with right now. The fact that I can see everything we have going on in one solid "dashboard" is fantastic! I love that ClickUp is one software that has it all and allows me to manage literally everything. I've trained the whole company to create any system or replace any existing system or CRM with ClickUp. I replaced JIRA Help Desk before with ClickUp Help Desk and created a BD pipeline through ClickUp. Now, I'm centralizing all the company's operations through ClickUp, and it helps us focus and prioritize. I love the customizations, as I can do almost anything. The automation features are very useful, allowing me to automate tasks like weekly and monthly reminders and summarizing team progress using AI. I create external public views for clients to show progress and use dashboards for different management levels. The Gantt charts and the baseline feature are amazing for shifting tasks when timelines change, and I can track progress against the baseline. I also enjoy using it with Zapier, Slack, Google Chat, and Google Drive, which has been amazing, enhancing the workflow.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I find really frustrating with ClickUp is the automations part because I can't add an 'OR' option, so I have to repeat the automation multiple times, sometimes 10 or 20 or even 100 times for the same thing. The app is also quite slow on PC and crashes a lot, so its performance definitely needs improvement. The personal list and tasks list are too slow, so I end up using Google Tasks because it's simpler and quicker. The import function is messy and difficult to use; it should be improved to allow me to import whatever sheet I need. Plus, I can't import all the fields of a task at once, which means I have to add a lot of information manually afterward. The initial setup of ClickUp was really hard. I had to conduct multiple three to four-hour training sessions to introduce it to the project management team and the whole company, and even then, the adoption process is still ongoing with lots of follow-up needed. Lastly, integrating email is tough because it's hard to send and receive emails while maintaining the same email thread.

I use ClickUp for project management, solving documentation and focus issues, and tracking progress. It helps assign and prioritize tasks, create dashboards, and automate operations. What I like best about ClickUp is how flexible it is. Instead of forcing my team to follow a fixed workflow, we can organize our work in a way that actually makes sense for us. We use different Lists for different functions, customize task statuses, and switch between Board, List, and Calendar views depending on what we're working on.

I also appreciate having everything in one place. Tasks, documents, forms, comments, due dates, and project tracking are all connected, so we don't have to jump between multiple tools. Once you get past the initial learning curve, it becomes a very powerful platform for managing projects and keeping everyone aligned.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The biggest downside for me is that some of the features I would love to use are behind the paid plans, which can be limiting for small teams or those just getting started.

I also think the interface can feel overwhelming, especially for people who aren't very tech-savvy. There are a lot of menus, settings, and places to click before you find what you're looking for. As someone who's comfortable with technology, I was able to learn it fairly quickly, but I can definitely see newer or less technical users needing more time to get used to the platform. A simpler onboarding experience and a cleaner interface for beginners would make ClickUp even better.

The Whiteboards have been especially useful for visualizing ideas and mapping out workflows before turning them into actionable tasks. The Kanban Board gives us a clear view of project progress, making it easy to see what's planned, in progress, or completed. The most updated version with the AI agents is a standout feature. The AI agent is a powerful tool that helps me add and prepare orders and manage details for tasks, making my workflow more efficient. The organization of the platform, including the colors, makes it easy for everyone to access and check pending tasks. Setting it up was super straightforward without any issues. I love having everything on the same page with all tools on the left, and after creating task lists, everything works smoothly.

The single best feature of ClickUp is the ability to make a task recurring. After that, I just like how easy it is to jump right in and use the site with almost no training. I do wish it was easier to contol what the cards look like in board view. I can't always get exactly what I want to show on the cards.

What I like best is its versatility to centralize everything. At Efficientix, we have managed to migrate processes from completely different departments —such as technical support with automations, product development, pre-sales, and even HR for payroll management— into a single ecosystem. I love that it replaces tools like Slack for internal communication and external forms for ticketing, allowing us to have real end-to-end traceability in one place without jumping between applications.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I dislike the most is the initial learning curve, which can be quite steep for the technical team if they are not used to such a rigorous level of documentation. Also, because we have very robust processes and so many automations running simultaneously (especially in support and development), the platform can occasionally feel a bit slow or heavy when loading dashboards with large amounts of data. Finally, notification management requires a lot of manual fine-tuning to prevent the team from becoming overwhelmed by the flow of information.

ClickUp is solving the problem of information fragmentation. Previously, our communications were in Slack, tickets were in external forms, and project management was in various spreadsheets. By centralizing everything —from product development to HR payroll and pre-sales— we have eliminated data silos. The greatest benefit is total traceability and real-time visibility; as a PMO, I no longer have to 'chase' people to find out the status of a project or a ticket; everything is documented. Honestly the customizable views are so useful. I can flip between list, board, and Gantt depending on what I'm working on instead of being stuck in one layout. The nested tasks are great for breaking down bigger projects without losing track of the overall picture. Automations are a lifesaver for the repetitive stuff like status updates and reassignments. The Docs feature was a nice surprise too, keeping notes and project info right next to the actual tasks means way less jumping between apps. Slack and Google Drive integrations work exactly how you'd hope. It's basically replaced a few other tools for me so the price feels worth it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is pretty steep when you first get started, there are so many features that it can feel overwhelming and it takes a while before everything clicks. The mobile app could use some work too, it's noticeably clunkier than the desktop experience which is frustrating when you're trying to quickly check something on the go. Performance can lag when you're dealing with larger workspaces or lots of tasks loading at once. The AI features feel a bit bolted on compared to the rest of the product — they're not bad but don't feel fully integrated yet. Onboarding could also be smoother for new team members, there's not a great guided setup experience so you end up figuring a lot out yourself.

Before ClickUp we were all over the place, tasks in one tool, docs in another, project timelines somewhere else entirely. It was a mess keeping everything in sync and stuff would fall through the cracks constantly. Now pretty much everything lives in one place which has made a huge difference. We're way more aligned as a team because everyone can see what's happening and who owns what without having to chase people down over Slack. Deadlines are easier to track, priorities are clearer, and I'd say we've cut down the time spent on 'where are we on this?' check-ins by a lot. It's also saved money just by replacing a couple of subscriptions we no longer need. Not perfect but it's genuinely made collaborative work feel a lot less chaotic.

What we like most about ClickUp is the depth and flexibility of the platform. Today we can centralize practically the entire company's operation within it: project management, processes, SOPs, CRM, commercial, onboarding, support, products, routines, and strategic monitoring. This brought organization, standardization, and real scalability to our operation.

UI / UX

The interface of ClickUp 4.0 became more visually modern and some navigations became more fluid. However, we noticed a significant decline in usability regarding "Relationships/Related".

In version 3.0, relationships were quicker and more intuitive to access during daily operations. In 4.0, the change in location increased the number of clicks and made it difficult to quickly view connected tasks, especially for those working with complex project management, milestones, dependencies, and interconnected processes.

Since we use relationships intensively throughout the company, this change directly impacted the operational productivity of the team.

Even so, ClickUp remains one of the most complete tools on the market in terms of operational structuring.

Integrations

Integrations are one of the platform's biggest differentiators. We can connect ClickUp with essential tools for our operation and transform it into the company's "center".

The flexibility of automations, API integrations, and connection with other platforms allows for the creation of highly customized systems, which is extremely valuable for companies with more mature processes.

We particularly like the ability to adapt ClickUp to the company's reality, instead of having to adapt the company to the tool.

Performance

Performance has improved significantly in recent years, especially considering the size and complexity of the platform. However, we still experience some bottlenecks in heavier operations:

Loading of very large Spaces and views
Occasional slowness in Dashboards
Small delays in automations and synchronizations
Some visual inconsistencies in version 4.0

Even so, considering the depth of the tool, the overall performance is good.

The main negative point for us was the change in the usability of "Relationships/Related" in version 4.0.

In version 3.0, this feature was more accessible, intuitive, and faster for day-to-day operations. Since we use relationships in practically our entire operational structure, including projects, milestones, processes, CRM, and internal management, the change ended up significantly impacting the team's productivity.

Today we feel that:

it has become less intuitive to locate relationships;
the number of clicks has increased;
the visualization lost operational agility;
the flow became more "hidden" within the interface.

For companies that use ClickUp in an advanced and highly connected way, this makes a big difference in daily operations.

I came to ClickUp hoping to find something that could truly support the day-to-day needs of a small nonprofit—and it has quickly become one of the most useful tools I rely on.

What stands out right away is how versatile it is. There’s a feature for just about everything, which is both a gift and something that takes a little time to grow into. There is a learning curve, but it feels worth it. Once things start to click, you begin to see how much it can really hold and organize for you.

Before this, I used another app that offered unlimited storage for free, which was hard to walk away from. But ClickUp’s upgrade pricing is far more affordable and realistic for a small organization like mine, especially considering everything it offers in return.

The support team has been a bright spot—quick to respond and clear in their explanations, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to figure things out on your own. The training documentation is also incredibly well done, making it easier to learn at your own pace without feeling overwhelmed.

Performance-wise, it has been smooth and reliable. I use it on Windows and haven’t experienced any conflicts or slowdowns with other applications, which gives me peace of mind when I’m juggling multiple tasks.

One of my favorite features is automated recurring tasks. It helps me stay grounded in the rhythm of ongoing responsibilities without having to constantly reset or remember everything manually - especially with the Google Calendar integration.  I haven't tried the other AI automations yet, but there are several listed that are commonly used that have peaked my interest.

If I could change one thing, it would be the ability to set custom notification sounds. That said, I understand that may be more of a system limitation than something within ClickUp itself.

Overall, ClickUp has become more than just a productivity app for me—it feels like a steady support system that helps me stay focused, organized, and moving forward.

There is a noticeable learning curve that can take a significant amount of time to work through. Notification sounds can be difficult to get functioning reliably, which can impact staying on top of tasks. Easy navigation, and good for communicating on each individual project. the chat feature and ability to attach files is great. For certain recurring tasks, I use the ai bots to generate monthly tasks for coworkers.  I like the often monthly informational webinars that provide more insight into the technology, as well as the online resources for training. the intergrations with slack and google are a great benefit, though one we haven't really utilized as a company yet. The app's performance is generally quite good, and I seldom have issues with lagging or app shutdowns. The pricing is reasonable; we had to upgrade to get the ability to attach items to a task. I wish that it also allowed us to have more specific forms without having to update again, but overall, pretty good price for what we get.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it's hard to find ways to get projects into ClickUp when they're formatted in a way that doesn't translate to task integration. I wish there were a few more types of channels/ways to view and organize tasks that could be customized to what works for our team. Also, the fact that you can not get a task to recur at the beginning of each month, without it immediately repopulating once it's closed out is beyond frustrating. My workaround for this was using an ai bot to create the task each month, but it's a huge downfall that this can't just be incorporated in the settings.

It’s definitely helping solve the issue of things getting lost internally. Before, almost all tasks came in through calls, emails, or texts with the owner of the company and then either trickled down slowly or didn’t make it through at all. Now we’re in a much better place: we can take a verbal request, get it into ClickUp, and assign it out as needed.

It’s also useful being able to include deliverables directly in the task, so I (as the project manager) can quickly grab what’s needed and send it to the client once it’s finished. On top of that, it helps that it’s available for others on the team when needed, and that we can easily see the project’s progress and the work being done.

As a video editor, what brings me the most value in ClickUp is the flexibility of the interface to manage visual workflows. The ability to instantly switch between Kanban and List views organizes my day a lot. I can drag project cards through the stages of capture, editing, and approval, which saves me several hours of weekly alignment meetings because the status of each delivery is clear to everyone.

Furthermore, the centralization of information greatly improves our workflow. Instead of spreading briefings and links to large files in chat apps or emails, ClickUp allows attaching reference links and review feedback directly to each video's card. This centralized organization greatly improves team performance and ensures a great return on the time investment we make in the platform.

What bothers me most about the desktop application is the fact that it is basically a container that mirrors the web version, instead of being software developed natively for the operating system. As a video editor, I highly value tools that make the most of the hardware, and this development choice makes the experience feel less integrated than it could be.

Furthermore, the UI/UX experience on the iOS app leaves something to be desired. While the computer version allows for managing complex workflows, the mobile interface is a bit confusing and cluttered. It becomes difficult to navigate through lists and update project statuses quickly when I'm away from the computer, which breaks the agility that the platform proposes in daily use.

I like how it is an all-in-one tool that can connect to every tool in my arsenal. I also love the My Work area where all my work aggregates for me across all the spaces in my Workspace. I also love the dashboards where I can get a high level view of my teams work at different levels of the hierarchy. It is all for one amazingly low price!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I dislike that it has a significant learning curve so it is not just an out of box solution. There are a lot of options on the screen that you have to learn how they function and behave. It is not the most intuitive to the first time user. We had to work quite a bit (a couple months) until we found a structure within our workspace that we liked. I also do not like that updates in Clickup are a bit laggy. You need to refresh the page often.

Clickup is solving the need for our team to have a task management tool. Previously we were using Airtable to manage our tasks, but Airtable is a database tool. It does not have features like Recurring Tasks or project features for scrum and agile. It also did not have all the integrations and capabilities of Clickup.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Click Up’s ability to integrate with a wide range of applications, combined with its ongoing efforts to expand those integration options, makes it my top choice among the project management and collaboration tools available. The product is priced at a point that is reasonable for the functionality it offers. It also offers great flexibility on the platform itself in terms of content organization and access control.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The UI can feel cluttered and hard to navigate at first, especially for a super user, because there are so many options and functions. I’ve also run into intermittent performance issues in both the app and the web interface.

I’d like to see document authoring made easier as well. Right now, all content has to be written directly in the UI to ensure formatting and tables render correctly. It’s essentially impossible to copy and paste from a Word document (for example) and keep the original formatting intact. The AI brain helps, but learning how to prompt it correctly is a slight learning curve.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work for a consulting firm with multiple projects running across multiple clients. Our biggest challenges were transparency, leadership visibility, and documentation.

First, it was hard to provide clear day-to-day transparency into what we were doing for clients unless they already had their own project management platforms like Jira, Asana, or Azure DevOps. Otherwise, maintaining status updates through email and Excel was cumbersome and non-standardized.

Second, leadership often had to scroll through multiple emails and Slack messages, or rely on weekly consolidated status updates for each project, which led to wasted time and energy.

Third, documentation was scattered across files uploaded to Google Drive and OneDrive, and sometimes it was even inaccessible because it lived on local computers. There were multiple scenarios where teams were reinventing the wheel due to siloed information.

Click Up was a silver bullet for us to solve all these problems and save a ton of time and energy. Yes, it was a learning curve and change for the whole organization. Frankly, adoption is still being pushed even after 9 months of onboarding Click Up.  However, we have seen clear improvement in all areas across all engagements where adoption and best practices are followed. At the end of the day, click-up is effective only if you use it extensively everyday.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClikckUp helps us manage marketing campaigns effectively. Starting with assigning tasks, tracking statuses, and improving team collaboration. The team can share documents, comment & chat within tasks itself.  Most importantly we can generate the reports / dashboards we need—project-wise, segment-wise, and team-wise—as well as view individual/team bandwidth and other related details.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes, the platform’s extreme customizability creates a steep learning curve, which can lead to feature fatigue and slower onboarding for new marketing team members. The aggressive default notification settings often caused alert burnout, and as a result, users ended up missing critical campaign approvals or mentions. Even with a low-volume, single-workspace setup and only a few hundred tasks, we’re still experiencing performance lag—especially when loading dashboards or content calendars. Finally, the mobile experience doesn’t translate marketing hierarchies well, which makes it difficult for us to review briefs or approve creative assets while on the go.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like many marketing teams, we used spreadsheet-based campaign trackers and relied on fragmented communication across emails and chats. Now we have a unified Single Source of Truth that centralizes all briefs, tasks, and creative approvals in one place. This implementation has led to a 66% reduction in time spent in status meetings and a 25% boost in overall team productivity, driven by standardized templates. By eliminating the need to toggle between disparate apps, we’ve saved hundreds of hours annually and achieved a full ROI in under six months.
