## ClickUp Reviews
 ### 1. My #1 Software out of the 400 plus I use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael M. | CEO, Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp allows me to do things that can't otherwise be done due to their complexity and breadth of team members involved.

I use it to store, manage and plan every single area of my life and business and the beautiful UI delights me to do so!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I use another more robust software called Boardmix for mind maps and white boards. I do not feel like ClickUp does these features at the levels I need for our business of designing highly automated business processes.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm ADD and have one of the most complex business models by necessity.

ClickUp does the whole "second brain" thing better than Notion (Houses all key data and resources), AND has an outrageously cutting edge project management suite of tools from time tracking, to custom dashboards, Gantt charts.

So it helps me lead a team of remote workers and stay in control of all that our business throws at us and makes sure my team can handle all the tasks involved in what we do.

 ### 2. Powerful Tool for Unified Workflow and Visual Planning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I really like that ClickUp is that it gives me one organized space to manage the many moving parts of teaching. As a college professor, the main way I use it is to keep track of course documents (assignment sheets, lecture slides, etc.), assignment deadlines, lecture notes, and other aspects associated with course design. So instead of having all these pieces scattered across random paper notes, emails I send to myself, the LMS (Canvas in my case), and my calendar, ClickUp works to focus all these pieces into a holistic workflow (I use one workspace for each course). The integration feature makes this possible and makes the workspace easy to manage.

The features I most rely on are tasks, subtasks (incredibly useful), documents, and due dates. The structure of the interface has been especially useful for my ADHD brain since it makes the sort of invisible work of teaching visible and easier for me to act on. The software allows me to see what needs to be done, what its current stage is, and my immediate next step to take. It also runs smoothly, so you are not wasting time trying to fight with the interface.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I think the main improvement would be how long it takes to set it up and just that there's a really steep learning curve, so it can take a little bit to get started. But once you get started, it really is so useful and becomes easier to manage, and there are numerous resources made available to facilitate the onboarding process.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With teaching and research, it is so challenging keeping track of deadlines, notes, documents, and general tasks. It involves a lot more than simply showing up to class. I have ADHD so it feels particularly tough to maintain everything in order. ClickUp helps me organize and manage deadlines, course design, grading, lectures, and research notes with ease, especially if you take advantage of its smart features and AI integration. It organizes everything well and allows me to create helpful sub-steps. It also allows to alternate between different views to get a full picture. While the set up was time-consuming, the gains in productivity time and stress levels associated with organizing a workflow make that kind of investment worthy.

 ### 3. Streamlined Task Management with Impressive Calendar Sync

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sami H. | Project Manager, Translation and Localization, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how organized ClickUp is. It helps me keep track of tasks by allowing me to set the start date and due date, and everything syncs seamlessly with my Google Calendar. This integration is pretty helpful for ensuring I know what needs to be done and when, which keeps things running smoothly. Additionally, I appreciate that ClickUp makes it easy to check the status of tasks and see if anything is pending or completed. I can also refer back to previously completed tasks if needed. ClickUp is also lively and smooth, making it pleasant to use from the start.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes the calendar sync doesn't work properly. So if the synchronization between ClickUp and Google Calendar can get fixed, so that it can better track and set everything on the calendar, that would be great.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for managing translation & interpretation tasks, seeing due dates, completion status, and all necessary information in one place. It keeps everything organized and synced with my Google Calendar, which is very helpful for keeping tasks on track and clients up-to-date.

 ### 4. The Ultimate Solution for Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** G. S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp as a centralized project management hub to track daily tasks, manage team workflows, and organize long-term project timelines. It excels at keeping everything organized in one place through its clean visual layout and flexible hierarchy of Spaces, Folders, and Lists. I particularly appreciate the 'Everything View,' which gives a master look at all tasks at once, eliminating organizational blind spots by pulling tasks from all departments into one master feed. The handy keyboard shortcuts, like Slash Commands, streamline daily workflows and keep focus sharp by allowing for quick formatting, task assigning, and tag adding. The built-in documents feature keeps notes right next to projects, saving time. ClickUp's ability to integrate smoothly with other software is a big plus for me, as it syncs data to prevent manual copying between apps, connects with tools like Slack and Google Calendar, and links with storage platforms like Google Drive and development tools like GitHub, making it a unified workspace.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp can be frustrating due to its steep learning curve, which often makes onboarding new team members overwhelming. The platform also suffers from occasional performance lag when handling heavy data, and the search function can feel clunky when trying to find older files. Additionally, the mobile app lacks the power of the desktop version, and the default notification settings quickly flood your inbox unless you manually turn them off.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp as a centralized hub for tracking tasks and managing workflows. It solves operational inefficiencies by unifying fragmented workflows and serves as our team's single source of truth for document sharing and collaboration.

 ### 5. ClickUp Delivers on the All-in-One Promise with Flexible, Customizable Workflows

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is that it actually lives up to the "all-in-one" hype by letting me ditch a bunch of other apps and keep my tasks, docs, and team chats in one place. I’m a big fan of the flexibility—I can organize everything into a clear hierarchy of Spaces and Folders, then flip between a List, a Board, or a Gantt chart depending on how I need to see my work that day. The AI tools are also a huge plus for me because they handle the tedious stuff, like summarizing long threads or automating status updates. Even though it took me a little while to learn my way around all the features, the sheer amount of customization makes it worth it because I can build a workflow that actually fits the way I think.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main thing I dislike about ClickUp is that it can feel like overkill for simple tasks. While the platform is powerful, it often feels cluttered with too many features and settings when I'm just trying to handle quick administrative work or basic tracking.

The steep learning curve makes it hard to move fast, and if the notification settings aren't perfectly tuned, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by constant alerts. Essentially, the software can sometimes make straightforward tasks feel more complicated than they need to be.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of app sprawl by consolidating tasks, documents, and communication into a single platform. Instead of jumping between multiple tools, you benefit from having all your information in one place, which keeps your workflow organized and reduces the risk of losing important details.

By using its automation and AI tools, the software handles repetitive busy work, allowing you to focus on high-priority tasks rather than manual updates. Ultimately, it provides clarity and efficiency, ensuring that deadlines are met and everyone stays on the same page without the chaos of fragmented information.

 ### 6. Highly Flexible Task Management with Easy Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William L. | Intern, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the flexibility of ClickUp, which allows me to keep things structured. The hierarchy with folders and lists is similar to a file structure, which some people prefer. I can also do more advanced filtering and using tags to look up things. I appreciate the core set of features for tasks and the ability to add custom fields. The initial setup was very easy, letting me start testing things and creating tasks and subtasks effortlessly. I like that there's a free option that is very robust that allows you to test things out. Also, I've used it to connect with Google Drive, which has been helpful for searching through notes, tasks, and file documents.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

On mobile, the details of a task can take a while to load, even if it's just text.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me stay organized with multiple simultaneous projects, allowing me to see what's due and the urgency. It's really helped me not lose track of anything important.

 ### 7. Innovative Flexibility and Seamless Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Faby X. | Chief of Staff to the CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate ClickUp's flexibility and innovation. It's inspiring to have the possibility to collaborate with development teams to create new products. The system is flexible enough to be used in ways not initially intended, which kickstarted our company's ability to innovate. It's a win-win because ClickUp continues to seek innovation and allows us to collaborate and ask for more. Additionally, I've been able to create many spaces with different purposes without complexity, which shows how user-friendly it is.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The integration between ClickUp and the Microsoft Office package (Emails, Calendar, Teams Meetings and Calendars) could be better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for managing supply chains, organizing purchase demands, coordinating logistics, and automating workflows, which helps us bring innovation to a traditional industry.

 ### 8. All-in-One, Flexible Workspace That Keeps Our Team Organized

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirsti H. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is that it brings everything into one place. Tasks, timelines, notes, and updates all live in the same system, which reduces back and forth between tools.

I also value the flexibility. We can customize statuses, fields, and views to match how our team actually works. That makes it easier to stay organized and gives clear visibility into who is responsible for what and where projects stand at any given time.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp can feel overwhelming at times. There are many features and configuration options, which is helpful, but it also means the system can become cluttered if it is not set up carefully. New users often need guidance to understand how our team uses it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us keep our work organized in one central place. Tasks are clearly assigned, deadlines are visible, and priorities are easier to manage. This reduces confusion about who is responsible for what and helps projects move forward without constant check ins.

It also allows conversations to happen directly within each task. That keeps context, decisions, and updates tied to the work itself instead of scattered across email or chat. As a result, information is easier to find, new team members can get up to speed more quickly, and we spend less time searching for background details.

 ### 9. Centralized Project Management, Needs Notification Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** saurav k. | Senior Solutions Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp provides a centralized location for both our clients and our team to communicate, share project timelines, and manage project status updates. The platform's shareability allows us to have everything in one place, which is great for collaboration. We can actively comment and communicate with each other, enhancing teamwork. The ability for our clients to directly reach out and have a centralized location to communicate on is very beneficial. Additionally, I find the ability to create lists and have as many unique folders as needed within spaces extremely valuable. This helps us segregate information for different use cases like project statuses, support ticketing tools, and live project management while still allowing collaboration on relevant information.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are too many notifications that get sent out. Some areas of the platform do not need to have notifications. As far as I'm aware right now, notifications are either all on or all off, or you need to really specifically, for each task that's assigned, disable notifications for yourself. It would be nice to have a way to completely turn off notifications for lists or project folders as a whole. The initial setup was okay, but there's a lot of capability in ClickUp, and at the same time, you can get very lost in the tool. To actually get it to a usable point and to match with the way we are using it, it definitely took some time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp provides a centralized location for communication on project timelines, enabling us to see project status updates, manage resources, and adjust as needed.

 ### 10. Easy platform to digest, but the constant unnecessary updates make it frustrating.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find the interface very digestible, and ClickUp is, for the most part, easy to navigate. I like the concept of ClickUp as a project management tool and it definitely makes my work much easier. I like that we can place tickets or requests to go to other teams and then link those tasks together.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I find some of your updates completely unnecessary. I feel like all too frequently you change the look of your interface when it is not needed. ClickUp 3.0 does not conveniently show due dates like ClickUp 2.0 did, I have to drag for it, and then it reverts back and it is a continuous cycle. Due dates, in my opinion, are one of the most important features of ClickUp. I don't like that I have to go directly into subtasks to add dates and other features when I used to be able to do that on the main task. It makes the process incredibly tedious. I also find that ClickUp 3.0 is slower and lags more than the previous update.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This truly works well in team functions and is a constant reminder of tasks and projects we have ongoing. I like that I can see what my teammates are doing. I also like how it keeps historic data, as I can go back to tasks from many years ago and see our rationale for our past decisions. That is incredibly helpful to me.

 ### 11. Customizable Yet Overwhelming at Times

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how customizable ClickUp is. The ability to use lists and folders, subtasks, and nesting really helps make it custom. You can also create custom fields, which helps track things effectively. Automations are another plus; they can automatically apply a tag based on a trigger, keeping us organized. The fact that tasks can live on multiple lists is super helpful because it makes organizing different tasks easier, like for trade shows or product releases while putting them on the current sprint. Using these features helps us see everything we need at a glance and keep everything on track.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The inbox is a little cumbersome. I wish there was more customization for the inbox where all the alerts and updates on tasks can sometimes be overwhelmingly cluttered. It would be helpful if you could sort by person, comment, or upload. Also, while the initial setup was easy, it was hard to set up an organization system that would work for my small team. Additionally I hate that they keep pushing ClickUp brain on my account. I would like to be able to turn it off by person, not as an organization. The search defaults to ClickUp Brain, and I would really like to turn that off.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me with collaboration, letting everyone work in the same space so we can see each other's tasks. It keeps track of tasks, so nothing falls through the cracks, and helps us plan with an agile sprint model.

 ### 12. Streamlined Team Collaboration with Custom Views

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris J. | PMM, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like using ClickUp to manage everything in our marketing team because it helps keep everything in one place, replacing multiple tools that our team previously used. I enjoy the custom views such as the board for our content calendar, the Gantt for tracking campaign timelines, and the list view for weekly standups—this flexibility allows each person to see things the way they prefer. The automation feature is solid and saves a ton of time since we've been able to set up rules that handle tasks, notifications, and status updates without manual intervention. It has eliminated a lot of back and forth that used to slow us down and now we have visibility on exact progress and assignments within our projects.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is slightly steep. The onboarding team took longer than expected. There are so many features that one can get overwhelmed and may only use 30% of what's there. Also the mobile app is not as strong for quick updates. Sometimes, everything feels glitchy with a big update but that's occasionally. The hierarchy setup can be difficult to someone new. People set it up differently and then nothing is consistent across the team. Custom fields are another - there's no real guidance on when to use them. Better onboarding templates for marketing teams can help. Basic things on the mobile app can be better like managing automations and navigating spaces. A more stripped-down version would be better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps our marketing team's work centralized, integrating task assignments, timelines, and statuses. It replaces multiple tools, streamlines project visibility, reduces back and forth, and adapts to individual work styles with custom views and automation, saving us a lot of time.

 ### 13. ClickUp: A Centralized Productivity Hub with Fair Pricing and Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love ClickUp—especially as a multi-time founder—because it’s the perfect centralized work management system for both solo founders and teams.

As an operations-focused founder, I think people often underestimate the value of having one central place to reference everything across apps, projects, and resources. It saves teams time and mental bandwidth, and it’s been a major unlock for productivity and overall effectiveness.

I also really appreciate the connectivity through integrations, especially within different views. This is huge for staying focused and not wasting time bouncing back and forth between other apps.

The added channel feature, along with clips, has been great for serving clients and has also helped with team trainings and onboarding flows.

I’ve used ClickUp for several years across multiple plans, and I can confidently say the pricing is among the fairest for the features you get—especially compared to other project management tools. That makes it a strong fit for startup teams that are just getting used to digital task management, because they can grow without constantly bloating overhead.

Since 2020, performance has improved a lot in terms of speed, and I’m seeing fewer and fewer bugs, which is great. It feels like the team is genuinely dedicated to building a great product, not just marketing features that don’t actually add value.

One of my favorite features is the integrated search. Because our team has Google Drive and our calendar integrated, we can search across those apps and find what we need in one place. I also don’t have to leave ClickUp to join a meeting scheduled on my calendar—again, a major time and mental bandwidth saver.

At this point, our firm has started recommending ClickUp to clients who want improved work management systems, because it really is a great tool for growing teams that are serious about their systems and operations.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I really wish ClickUp would add more agency-specific features, especially things like clear onboarding pathways for new clients. I noticed there’s an integration with Quickbooks, but I’d also love to see an integration with Stripe. A built-in proposal feature would be a total game changer too, and I’d definitely pay for that feature, along with other tools that better support agencies.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping my overhead low and centralized has helped me keep my mental bandwidth focused and streamlined. ClickUp allows us to organize and manage our clients more effectively, which supports stronger brand equity for us over the long term. It has also solved a major collaboration challenge, especially with the different permission settings that let us put governance guidelines into play immediately.

 ### 14. Feature-Rich, But Steep Learning Curve

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leah S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp's hierarchy as it lets me see both a birds-eye view of projects and zoom into details when necessary. This feature is key for me to understand what's going on from an individual level to the organization as a whole. It helps in organizing and assigning tasks efficiently, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and giving me a holistic view of how our team is functioning.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are a ton of features, and it was quite a learning curve to get set up for our small team at first. Also, too many default email notifications, which caused a negative affect on team buy-in when we first implemented. I also wish I could download csvs on our plan, but it's limited due to the tiers.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps every task organized and assigned, preventing anything from falling through the cracks. It offers a birds-eye view to track project status and identify risks, helping me see details when needed and understand our team's overall functioning.

 ### 15. Fun and Easy Project Management with ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I've been using ClickUp for about two years now, and it's genuinely become the backbone of how I run my work. I use it to manage everything from client tasks and project timelines to my own personal to-do lists at home.

What I love most is how flexible it is. I've set up separate Spaces for each of my clients, with Lists inside for ongoing tasks, deliverables, and recurring work. I also love that you can create documents directly inside Spaces, which adds so much extra clarity, everything you need is just right there. The multiple views are a game-changer, too. I switch between List and Board depending on what I'm working on, and I can create a new Space in minutes whenever I start something new.

Honestly, ClickUp is one of those tools that keeps rewarding you the more time you put into it. There is a learning curve at the start, but once it clicks, the flexibility and features make it super worth it. If you're trying to get organized without being locked into a rigid system, I really recommend giving it a go.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve is real. ClickUp offers a lot of possibilities, and when you first open it, it can honestly feel a little overwhelming. There are so many features, views, and settings that figuring out where to even start takes some time. I remember spending a while just trying to understand the difference between Spaces, Folders, and Lists and how they all connect.

Once it clicks it's fine, but I do think new users need to set aside some time to actually explore and get comfortable with it. It's not something you can just open and intuitively figure out in 10 minutes the way you might with a simpler tool. That said, once you get the hang of it, the complexity is kind of the point, because it gives you way more flexibility than the simpler alternatives.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem ClickUp solves for me is having everything in one place. Before, I was jumping between notes, emails, and random docs trying to keep track of what needed to get done for which client. Now I have a dedicated Space for each client with Lists for their ongoing tasks, deliverables, and deadlines, so nothing falls through the cracks.

 ### 16. Supercharges Job Search with Customizable Workflows

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp as a superpowered CRM, and it's integrated with my Google Drive, which is great for organizing resumes. I created a Superagent, making job searches more efficient by running scheduled searches and notifying me about new roles. The app speeds up my time searching for companies and roles, reduces decision fatigue, and helps send highly targeted job applications, which is a game changer. It compares job descriptions against resumes and selects the best match, and it recommends targeted improvements. Whilst it does the heavy lifting, I am able to focus my time on reviewing the job and confirming how I am actually a fit for the role. I like the workflows, layouts, colors, configurability, and the quick response of the app. Recently I needed help with some configurations and I received excellent live support. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I haven't figured out yet how or if I can open multiple tabs. That would be a really nice improvement!

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best benefit is time-saving: I use ClickUp to streamline my job search workflow, reducing decision fatigue and enhancing application accuracy. It saves time by automating searches and alerts, allowing me to focus on high-match opportunities without constant monitoring.

 ### 17. Comprehensive Tool for Project Management and Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sanku s. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp offers dual access for both mobile and desktop, which is convenient for managing tasks across different devices. The ability to create checklists, add pages, and manage tasks is quite useful for my workflow. Adding a date to checklists and receiving email notifications about pending tasks, which can be sent to an email address of my choice rather than the official one, is a handy feature. The initial setup of ClickUp was easy, and working on projects with it has been made simple. I am happy with how things are progressing as I learn more about using it effectively.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I mentioned earlier that email reminders are important. The task emails should not be forgotten or there should be options for an email link to other email IDs and calendar sync. Also, I tried using ClickUp with Claude but it didn't work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management, keeping track of daily tasks, and aligning meeting agendas with current project statuses, which helps me coordinate with regional managers effectively.

 ### 18. ClickUp Keeps Our Marketing Projects Organized, Clear, and Efficient

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin R. | Web and Graphic Designer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is how powerful and organized it is as a project management tool. We use ClickUp daily in our marketing agency, and it has been extremely helpful for organizing tasks, assigning work to team members, and keeping everything structured and clear.

It makes collaboration very easy...we can leave comments directly on tasks, attach files, link Google Drive documents, and keep all project communication centralized in one place. The internal chat feature is also very useful for team communication without needing to jump between different platforms.

One of the most valuable features for us is the ability to generate calendars that we can embed on our website. This allows our clients to see what we’re working on and track project progress, which adds transparency and builds trust.

Overall, ClickUp has been an excellent tool for organization, and it has definitely helped us save time and work more efficiently.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One of the things I don’t like as much about ClickUp is that it’s not always as intuitive as some other platforms. The user experience could be improved in certain areas. Since it’s a tool built for organization, I believe it would benefit from being even more intuitive and easier to customize.

Personally, I like to have everything visually organized, and at times my dashboard or task list can feel a bit overwhelming or cluttered. I would appreciate having more flexibility to customize the layout and visual structure so it fits my workflow better.

That said, it’s still a very powerful tool... I just think improving the UX and visual customization options would make it even better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is solving our need for better organization and centralization. Before using it, tasks, communication, and files were spread across different platforms, which made it harder to keep everything aligned. Now, everything is centralized in one place: tasks, comments, files, deadlines, and team communication. This has helped us stay more organized, improve accountability, and reduce confusion within the team. We work more efficiently, save time, and have better visibility into project progress, both internally and with our clients.

 ### 19. Robust Reporting and Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abolaji A. | Gen Z Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love ClickUp's artificial intelligence integration; the power of it is quite impressive. It makes searching a lot easier for me. The Axe brain feature is wonderful too. I've had a great experience using artificial intelligence within ClickUp. The AI tools make drafting letters simple, and they summarize conversations to help me catch up without wasting time. The reporting capability is another fantastic aspect. It's easier for us to see where we are and where we're supposed to be. The customer support is also excellent; they help clarify the platform's features whenever there is any confusion.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I feel ClickUp could improve in terms of understanding different organization structures more critically. Some of the pre-defined structures in the program might not work for all organizations, and we sometimes have to adjust to the models and framework that ClickUp has provided. While they're trying hard with custom creation, it's not always specific to what our organization might be looking for.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for generating reports from tasks, making it easier to track progress. Its AI integration helps in drafting letters and conversation summaries, saving time.

 ### 20. Versatile Task Management with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andressa S. | Assistant Professor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that I can see it all in one place. I can see all my tasks in one big list or in separate parts, and I really like that. I also like that it's very customizable, allowing me to add my own columns and things that matter to me, especially in the paid version rather than the free version. I like that it's easy to use because I used to use Notion before, and it was too customizable. ClickUp strikes a good balance in that sense.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I do think there's a bit of a learning curve, maybe it has too many features almost. I also don't love that it automatically suggests different aspects that don't really match what I'm doing. The AI features feel overwhelming and don't align with my needs. It's a little confusing what parts are included in my plan versus what's paid. Accepting AI features uses credits, which are limited, making it expensive. It could become out of my budget if I had to pay for ClickUp and all the AI stuff and add-ons. I tried using it with Teams and emails, but it was a little too clunky for me.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project and task management, managing different aspects of my life in one place without having multiple to-do lists. It helps streamline tools from various sources like Teams and Google Drive by centralizing links, making it easy to find things.

 ### 21. Excellent Organization and Seamless Setup

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ken K. | Digital Marketing

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I think the organization in ClickUp is good. I'm able to organize each one of my different, unrelated projects into different areas and different spaces within ClickUp, keeping everything organized and in one place for me. Within each space, I can create a list or various lists, and different documents that go inside of there. I also like the user interface; once I got the hang of everything being in a list, it was good. The user interface is pretty easy to flow through as well. I thought the initial setup was pretty seamless, with onboarding that was easy and getting started seemed pretty straightforward and logical to me. I liked ClickUp much better than Smartsheet, which I used in the past.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I'm still getting the hang of using the AI and the super agent inside of there. But I've gotta tweak the way it works, and that's more of my workflow than anything else.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find ClickUp keeps all my projects organized, whether it's content creation, not-for-profit, or contract work, all in one place. The organization within different spaces is valuable, and I like it better than Smartsheet.

 ### 22. Streamlined Task Management, But Performance Could Improve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas R. | Senior Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like the dashboards in ClickUp because they're awesome for setting up in a way that makes it easier for the whole team to use. The features inside the tasks are also really helpful since we can customize how it works for the team by adding custom fields to each task individually. I also appreciate that we can do this for individual lists or even have templates on those as well. Having access to custom fields allows us to create specific instances for different types of clients and categorize them into product lines.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't like the loading time in ClickUp. Whenever we jump from one screen to another, it can be slow, which is frustrating. The performance also drops when we have a bulk of tasks in the workspace, making it slow really fast. We often need to refresh the app or reload the tab to make it work better, but that's not always effective. Another thing is RAM usage. ClickUp uses a lot of RAM, and we've noticed RAM leaks where it can use up to 10 gigabytes of RAM, and we have to refresh to get back to a normal state.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for task management and assigning people to tasks. The dashboards are awesome and customizable, making it easier for the team. Custom fields help us categorize clients and product lines effectively.

 ### 23. ClickUp Centralizes Project Management and Boosts Productivity with Flexible Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how effective it is for project management, organization, and team collaboration. It keeps tasks, timelines, documents, and communication centralized in one platform, which makes workflows much easier to manage and track. I also like the flexibility of customizing views, automations, and task structures based on different project needs.
The AI features are also a big plus, especially for speeding up task creation, summarizing updates, generating content, and improving overall productivity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing I dislike about ClickUp is that it can sometimes feel overwhelming because of how many features and customization options it has. There’s definitely a learning curve, especially for new team members. Performance can also occasionally feel slow when working with larger workspaces or highly detailed dashboards.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps solve problems around project management, task organization, communication, and workflow visibility by centralizing everything into one platform. Instead of juggling multiple tools, we can manage projects, deadlines, documents, updates, and team collaboration all in one place.

One of the biggest benefits is the integration capability with other tools and platforms, which helps streamline workflows and reduce manual work. It makes it much easier to keep teams aligned, track progress, and manage operations more efficiently.

The automations and AI features also help save time by reducing repetitive tasks, speeding up planning, summarizing updates, and improving overall productivity.

 ### 25. Comprehensive Digital Marketing Management in One Place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshaykumar N. | Search Engine Optimization Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the flexibility and all-in-one workspace approach of ClickUp. It adapts well to different workflows, whether it’s for SEO project management, content planning, social media execution, website development, or client collaboration. The customizable dashboards, automations, and task management features make it easy to keep projects organized and improve team efficiency. I also appreciate how it combines multiple tools into one platform, reducing dependency on separate apps for communication, tracking, and workflow management. Another strong point is visibility—everyone on the team can clearly track priorities, deadlines, and progress in real time, which helps streamline operations and improve accountability across projects.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp is very powerful, the platform can sometimes feel overwhelming because of the large number of features and customization options, especially for new users. There’s a learning curve when setting up advanced workflows, dashboards, and automations. Performance can also occasionally slow down in larger workspaces with many tasks, automations, or integrations running simultaneously. In addition, some views and settings could be more intuitive to navigate, as finding specific configurations sometimes takes extra time. Improving speed optimization, simplifying parts of the UI for better usability, and enhancing reporting customization would make the overall experience even stronger for teams managing high-volume projects.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes our digital marketing operations, organizing teams, campaigns, and deadlines in one system. It improves visibility, reduces communication gaps, ensures task completion, and saves time with automation. This boosts productivity and clear accountability across projects.

 ### 26. Effective for Project Management, Needs Layout Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Griffin W. | Quality Assurance Quality Control, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp's in-depth ability to track progress, assign subtasks, and recount previous initiatives or processes. It makes it easy to discern who should be tackling what tasks, how to divide up responsibilities, and what tasks are tied to each other. I also find it easy to see what strategies were used for similar projects that have already been completed. It's really convenient to find old tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I do not like the accordion style dropdowns to see fields/subtasks/relationships/etc. I prefer the old layout much more. It was quicker to see the subtasks rather than to have to toggle around to find them. I also like the quick access to related tasks under the old layout, as I use that feature often.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management. It helps me track progress, assign subtasks, and review past initiatives. It makes it easy to decide task assignments, responsibility division, and see interconnected tasks and previous project strategies.

 ### 27. Versatile Views, But Navigation Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikaela L. | manager of Marketing operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the different views ClickUp offers such as inbox, home, list view, and workload view, as well as the different types of charts for tracking and progress. It lets me use pie charts to measure success and tag projects with specific scores, so I can see how a person is performing. They provide value by giving insights into specific metrics I want to manage for my team. The visibility, ability to tag, create custom fields, and custom reporting bring flexibility, which I think is the best part.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

When you have to click around to get to different views, it's hard for me to go from inbox to workload view very easily, and so I usually just operate in multiple tabs. Which isn't the most efficient. The ability to jump between views would be great.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me manage workload effectively across projects, enabling collaboration through comments and discussions. It centralizes project work, making it easier to coordinate with teams in different time zones.

 ### 28. All-in-One Solution with Heavy Memory Footprint

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oussama K. | software engeneer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp serves as a centralized space, combining messaging, managing user stories, tasks, and serving as a link between clients and the dev team. It's great having a lot of customization and flexibility. I find the docs and clips features particularly usable, keeping everything centralized. It’s convenient that it’s one app that includes almost everything we need, so I don't have to switch between multiple apps for tickets, messaging, and docs. As a software engineer, having these tools all in one app is really beneficial. Also, we use it with Google Calendar, which helps me see scheduled meetings directly in the ClickUp calendar.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main thing I don't like is the extensive memory usage, around 2GB, which is a lot since ClickUp needs to be open the whole day. I also think it would be nice to have gesture controls for going back to the previous screen, similar to what we do in most browsers, instead of just having arrows on top.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp centralizes messaging, task management, and client-developer communications, reducing the need to switch between multiple apps. Its flexible, customizable features like docs and clips ensure everything stays centralized.

 ### 29. ClickUp Became My Second Brain for Work, School, and Life

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica M. | Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’ll be honest, I came to ClickUp skeptical. I’d tried other productivity apps and always ended up back at sticky notes and scattered notes in my phone. But ClickUp is genuinely different, and I say that as someone who now uses it to manage everything from job searching and school deadlines to personal goals and daily routines.
What sets ClickUp apart is how flexible it is without being overwhelming once you learn it. I can have a Space for my career goals, a separate one for school, and another for personal projects and they all live in one place. No switching between five different apps. No losing track of what’s due when. Everything is visible, organized, and actually usable.
The multiple views are a game changer. Some days I need a List view to just see my tasks clearly. Other days I want the Calendar view to plan my week visually. ClickUp gives me both and more without charging extra for features that should have been included from the start.
The mobile app deserves special praise. Life doesn’t happen at a desk, and ClickUp keeps me productive on the go. Whether I’m adding a quick task between appointments or checking off completed items, it’s smooth and responsive.
For anyone juggling a lot like work, school, family, and personal goals, ClickUp isn’t just an app. It becomes your second brain. It helped me build structure during one of the busiest and most overwhelming seasons of my life, and I genuinely don’t know how I would have stayed on track without it.
If you’re on the fence, just start. The free plan alone is more powerful than most paid tools out there.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes I forget about the app that’s it

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps me organized

 ### 30. How ClickUp Simplifies My Daily Workflow as a SOC Analyst

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Basti Andre D. | MSOC, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is how it helps me stay organized and on top of my work. I can keep all my tasks, projects, and deadlines in one place, which makes planning my day much easier. It also helps me prioritize what’s important, track progress, and feel less overwhelmed, especially when things get busy.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don’t really have any dislikes about ClickUp. It’s easy to use, intuitive, and navigating through tasks and projects feels smooth and straightforward.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me stay on top of all the tasks, incidents, and projects I juggle as a SOC analyst. It makes it easy to organize investigations, prioritize alerts, and keep track of deadlines. Knowing everything is in one place helps me stay focused, avoid missing important steps, and handle my work more smoothly.

 ### 31. Empowering Project Management with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mary A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp primarily for organizing and managing multiple team projects and tracking tasks across various teams. It really helps me with organizing multiple projects simultaneously, especially when redoing funnels and webinars. I find the whiteboards very helpful for visualizing project progress and linking tasks directly, which enhances our workflow. The dashboards are useful for viewing workloads and understanding the time allocation for each contractor. I like having SOPs starred and favorited as resources I can easily access. I use video and notes within ClickUp, replacing software like Loom, to comment directly on videos linked to specific tasks. The checklist feature within tasks is beneficial. Connecting Claude AI with ClickUp to manage my schedule and projects according to specific instructions is very advantageous. The initial setup was easy due to the one-on-one support from ClickUp associates, who provided detailed answers to my specific questions, making the experience extremely helpful.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I want to learn how to use ClickUp Calendar more, especially with an integration with Notion. Because I have databases in Notion that I put in my calendar to track certain projects, and I can't see those within the ClickUp calendar, I don't use ClickUp Calendars. I want to use ClickUp Calendars.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me organize multiple projects, visualize processes with whiteboards, manage workloads with dashboards, and link video comments to tasks. It also integrates with Claude AI to manage schedules and projects efficiently.

 ### 32. Empowers Task Management with SuperAgent & Automations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lynn S. | Coordinator - Office of the University Chaplain, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2022

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how ClickUp saves me countless hours with its automations and how it makes my reservation process seamless. The automations are invaluable to me, and I love the SuperAgent capabilities I recently discovered. The SuperAgents and Automations handle the minutia for me, letting me focus on more important tasks. What used to take me a lot of back and forth now happens automatically, like entering subtasks, calculating due dates, and even sending emails with a simple change of task status. Another wonderful feature is the Google Mail connection that lets me send emails via Automations or through ClickUp, eliminating the need to keep hundreds of emails open. ClickUp allows flexibility, letting you start as simple or as complicated as you like, and it's great that it can now adjust as often as my mind does, thanks to updates.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Up until the SuperAgent, the Automations were limited and I had to create a lot of workarounds for my situations. I used to love being able to chat with an agent when I came across an issue or glitch so that I can get it fixed and just keep on working. Currently, I have to submit my concern and wait for a reply. Often, I can't do anything else until the issue is fixed - which can set me back a day or two in getting things done. Additionally - the cost can be prohibitive. There are features that I would like for myself because of how I use the program, that my teammates would not use, however, I can't pay for them just for myself - I would have to pay for the whole team - which would increase the costs significantly.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage my ADHD by serving as my memory, saving time with automations, and simplifying the reservation process. Automations and SuperAgents handle tasks that used to need lots of manual work, like entering subtasks, calculating due dates, and sending client emails. I get through most day now, without brain overload - trusting in my ClickUp process.

**Official Response from Shanee Shepardson:**

> Hey, Lynn!

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying a productivity boost with ClickUp!

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all!

Have an amazing and productive day!

 ### 33. Essential for managing Marketing and Development teams in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Agência C. | Founder & CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The versatility and customization capabilities are unmatched. As an agency owner managing diverse projects—from marketing launches to software development—I love that I can tailor views (List, Kanban, Gantt) to specific team needs. The ability to have everything in one place, minimizing the need for multiple disparate tools, is the biggest highlight for me.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The learning curve can be steep for new team members due to the sheer number of features. Sometimes the platform can feel a bit sluggish or 'heavy' when loading complex spaces with many tasks. The mobile app, while improved, still lags behind the desktop experience in terms of ease of use for quick management.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the fragmentation of project information. Before, we struggled with tasks scattered across emails and chats. ClickUp centralizes our entire workflow, allowing me to oversee client deliverables and internal product development simultaneously. It has significantly improved our team's alignment on deadlines and reduced the time spent on status update meetings.

 ### 34. Customizable and Powerful but Needs Mobile & Doc Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Motty C. | Enterprise Architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp because it provides one source of truth across all aspects and domains, customized to my needs. I appreciate the ability to customize and configure ClickUp to match the way I work. The use of custom fields, configurable views, robust filtering, automations, and integration are outstanding. I also find that ClickUp allows me to start simple and slowly improve, customize, and grow with the tool, making the initial setup easy.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The mobile version is lagging behind as it lacks the ability to select views and filters or handle custom fields when creating new tasks, which stops me from using it. Documents are not a first-class resident; it would be nice to create lists where items are documents instead of being attachments or views. Automation triggers could be improved, especially the ability to trigger automation on update and create better conditional workflows.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp as one source of truth across all aspects and domains, customized to my needs with custom fields, configurable views, and robust filtering.

 ### 35. Great for Modular Design, Cost a Concern

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janna S. | Marketing Channels, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I loved how modular ClickUp was! I could design each space for each team with ease, and according to the exact needs of each team. The most used features were definitely forms and task management. We would create forms for Business units that, once filled, would auto-create tasks for the rest of the teams. This greatly helped translate the needs of the business units into actionable steps for the team. The initial setup of ClickUp was easy and very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

To be honest, it was mainly a cost problem for our company. Paying for each seat for the package that we needed, was too much for the perceived value of what ClickUp did for us.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find ClickUp bridges the gap across business units, creatives, and marketing strategists. It solves prioritization and workflow management issues, translating business needs into actionable tasks, which is crucial given our limited marketing bandwidth.

 ### 36. Efficacy and Integration Shine with ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adolph B. | Personal Trainer at Fantasy Fitness, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to manage various aspects of my life, including my personal chores and several businesses like my real estate and health coaching. I love how ClickUp improves the organization of my workspaces, allowing me to be as organized and efficient as possible. It does a phenomenal job at enhancing these aspects for me. I also appreciate the interconnectivity ClickUp provides, as it lets me access it on my phone, iPad, and laptop, making it effortless to add tasks while on the go. I enjoy being able to connect with my team in one centralized area, which not only saves time but also enhances efficiency. The AI integrations have made my life much easier, providing more free time to create and build while helping expand my capabilities. The updates that come frequently are a bonus, keeping me informed of new features to maximize my workflow.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The integrations can be a bit bothersome sometimes. Even though ClickUp has a Google Drive or Google Docs integration, I often find myself having to recreate multiple files on Google Docs for it to be read correctly. There are also times when ClickUp can't read a PDF or document from my Google Drive or Google Doc unless I download and then upload the exact file to the AI agent. This part can be quite annoying. Additionally, I'm experiencing an issue with forms. Despite following all required steps, my virtual assistant can't create forms on ClickUp, and I'm waiting on customer support to resolve this issue.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp improves my organization and efficiency, centralizes team connection, offers seamless device access, and AI integrations simplify tasks, saving time and enhancing creativity.

 ### 37. Feature-Packed and Easy to Navigate, with Helpful AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kate | Account Manager R. | Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp is jam-packed with a lot of features we can use, and the AI is particularly helpful. It has everything a company will need, and it’s very easy to navigate once you get past the initial overwhelm of all the features it has to offer.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Maybe having chat bubbles, the chat feature is hard to utilize since it takes up the space of the whole tab, instead of it being easily accessed as some sort of window that can be minimized, forms also could do better with a pages option, or more flexibility when it comes to what forms has to offer,

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping us streamline our operations.

 ### 38. Streamlined Workflow with Some Performance Issues

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashish A. | SDET Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp is designed where I can have one item in multiple lists, which allows me to organize in a way that suits each department. I love the automation features, like webhooks and integrating with other tools such as Slack and GitHub. These integration solutions, along with the extensive features GitHub provides, are something I really appreciate about ClickUp.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Initially, there are a few hiccups with onboarding, especially around automations and sprint planning. We faced difficulties figuring out what automations can happen and how to structure the organization's sprint planning. The performance of ClickUp degrades when the number of tasks increases, and when expanding support tickets, it takes a lot of time to load.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find ClickUp essential for organizing tasks and managing multiple product roadmaps in agile sprints. It streamlines defect logging, task creation, and handling support tickets, all in one place, with handy automations that enhance our daily workflows and information sharing among colleagues.

 ### 39. ClickUp: From Task Management to a True Work Operating System

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcin K. | SEO Expert, CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best about ClickUp is its unmatched flexibility combined with operational depth.

It’s not just a task manager — it’s a fully customizable work operating system. You can structure projects exactly the way your team thinks: Spaces, Folders, Lists, custom statuses, custom fields, multiple views (Board, List, Gantt, Timeline, Calendar) — everything adapts to your workflow instead of forcing you into a predefined structure.

The automation capabilities are a game changer. Once properly configured, repetitive updates, task assignments, and status changes happen automatically. That reduces manual coordination and dramatically improves execution speed.

I also appreciate the visibility it provides. Dashboards give leadership-level insight into workload, bottlenecks, and progress in real time. It creates transparency without micromanagement.

And finally — everything lives in one place. Tasks, documentation, comments, goals, whiteboards. It reduces tool fragmentation and keeps communication close to execution.

ClickUp doesn’t just help manage projects — it strengthens operational discipline.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main downside is the initial complexity.

Because ClickUp is so powerful and customizable, the onboarding process can feel overwhelming at first. Without a clear structure and implementation plan, it’s easy to overcomplicate workflows. There’s a learning curve before you fully unlock its potential.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of fragmented execution and lack of operational visibility.

Before using it, tasks were spread across emails, Slack messages, documents, and multiple tools. It was hard to track ownership, deadlines, and real progress. Coordination required constant follow-ups, and leadership didn’t always have a clear view of bottlenecks.

ClickUp centralizes everything — tasks, documentation, goals, communication, and reporting — into one structured system. That brings clarity.

The biggest benefits for us:

– Clear ownership and accountability
– Real-time visibility into workload and progress
– Reduced operational chaos and fewer status meetings
– Stronger execution discipline across teams
– Automation of repetitive coordination tasks

Instead of managing tasks, we now manage outcomes. ClickUp created structure without slowing us down — and that directly improved delivery speed and transparency.

 ### 40. Unmatched Flexibility and Powerful Automations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel I. | networking, IT, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp generates structure and order in tasks, offering tracking and a lot of flexibility to configure boards, lists, and work forms. I love that it is flexible in configuring fields, automations, and generating email accounts for task tracking, which makes it formidable for interaction. Document management is excellent for generating knowledge bases, minutes, and much more. It allows me to quickly adapt functions to my needs, thanks to its flexibility. Additionally, I can manage guest groups for specific tasks without incurring extra costs, which is a great advantage. Custom fields add a lot of dynamism to the lists, allowing me to adapt projects to different measurement and organization fields. Automations save manual work and make routine interactions dynamic. I switched to ClickUp because of the flexibility of the custom fields it has to generate the structures we needed.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Fields between subtasks cannot be inherited correctly, and the calculations of custom fields in subtasks, such as numbers and formulas, do not work well for creating dashboards when there are nested subtasks. There are also limitations in handling data sources when creating panels. Additionally, the initial training is only available in English, which may hinder adoption for Spanish speakers.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp generates structure and order in tasks, offers flexibility in configuration, facilitates document management, saves manual work with automations, and allows adapting its tools to my needs without additional costs.

 ### 41. Versatile Tool for Team Collaboration and Productivity

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ardon G. | Information Technology Technical Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how ClickUp combines multiple tools into one platform, allowing me to manage and track progress, communicate with the team, and organize priorities all without switching between different apps. I also appreciate the customization features because they let me adjust workloads based on needs. The task views, status dropping, and reminders are particularly helpful for staying organized and productive. Furthermore, ClickUp allows me to manage different types of work in one place, offering advanced features like customizable workflows and detailed progress tracking.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One thing that could be improved is that the platform can sometimes feel overwhelming because of the number of features and customization options available, especially for new users. And there are also times when notifications, updates, or past changes can be confusing when managing many tasks at once. Improving the simplicity of the interface and making navigation more straightforward would help create a smoother user experience.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for task management, organization, and team collaboration. It helps me manage deadlines, monitor progress, and avoid missing important tasks or updates, especially with multiple responsibilities or team members.

 ### 42. Highly Customizable, Boosts Productivity with AI

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Inna K. | Principal, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really appreciate how incredibly customizable ClickUp is, allowing users like me to choose our own productivity framework instead of being forced into a predefined one. This flexibility is a big plus. I also love that ClickUp has embraced AI, making it even more productive for us since it already contains so much of our data and context. The integration of AI agents and automations has made a significant impact on our business's productivity. Additionally, the output from ClickUp is very useful and robust, thanks to the vast amount of data it holds. I also like how ClickUp integrates seamlessly with Google Workspace Suite, Box, and Loom, which embeds nicely into the platform.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Our greatest strengths are also our greatest weaknesses, and in the case of ClickUp, the fact that it is so ultra customizable may be a turnoff for those that don't have the time or aptitude to build out ClickUp in a way that works for their business.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us stay organized and be more productive and efficient. Its customization options and AI integration enhance our productivity since it holds a lot of our data and context.

 ### 43. Centralized Workspace with Initial Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shrouk H. | Insurance Sales Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for task management and tracking project progress within my team and team leader. I really appreciate having everything organized in a single workspace and not having to jump between five different apps to check my tasks and notes. The visuals in ClickUp are cool, and the color options are really helpful for me since I'm a visual person. I use them to highlight super urgent stuff, so I don't miss anything. It keeps my brain organized, helps me jump straight into work without feeling overwhelmed, and just makes the whole dashboard look way less boring and more like my own space.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

At the beginning, it was hard for me to use ClickUp as there are many buttons. It may help if it were easier or had a friendly interface or simple guidance at the beginning. It was a bit overwhelming at first; I felt totally lost because there are so many buttons and options everywhere.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for task management and project tracking, keeping everything organized in one workspace. I don't have to switch between apps for tasks and notes, and the color options help me highlight urgent items, making the dashboard less boring and more personalized.

 ### 44. Streamlined Project Management with Top-Notch Customization With Zapier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** McKay S. | Business Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2018

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like how ClickUp is pretty easy to use. It has all the features we need, and it integrates very well with other tools, like Zapier. We've been using ClickUp for a very long time, and its customization and automation capabilities fit our needs really well. The initial setup was very easy, and the decision to choose ClickUp was because it was a far better option with better pricing than any alternative back in 2018.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Well, some of the extra features that they have, we don't really use. They're not very useful. I don't think the AI assistants are actually as useful as one would think. For example, whenever I ask the AI assistant to go look for something in ClickUp, it can never find it, and then I just have to go look for it manually.

**Recommendations to others considering ClickUp:**

Try it out, it's great. The key is to actually make sure to commit to it 100% and on't let your employees use it only halfway.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage our 480 yearly projects and sales process efficiently, keeping everything organized, tracking client interactions and automating tasks.

 ### 45. Intuitive, Fast, and Packed with Features—Plus Great GitHub Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eugenia B. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It’s intuitive. There are a lot of features, like chat, and it pretty much does everything I need without ever feeling too complicated. It also integrates with GitHub, which is exactly what I was looking for. On top of that, it’s fast, even on mobile.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Some settings are difficult to find—for example, reminders. I set up a recurring reminder, and later it wasn’t obvious how to turn it off, so disabling it ended up being trickier than I expected.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The best thing about ClickUp is being able to use one tool for everything: company chat, project management, documentation—everything in one place. The AI capabilities are also really good, especially when I need to quickly find specific information.

 ### 46. Essential for Project Managers with Customizable Flexibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simone F. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how ClickUp has increased my productivity by 100%. I find the interface great and everything is fully customizable, which allows me to adapt it to different roles and diversify the projects I work on. I like the integrations with calendars and emails, which allow me to include tasks that I previously managed with other software into ClickUp. The AI summary for video calls is a feature that I love. I also appreciate that the initial setup was quite easy, and I had valuable help from the ClickUp team through free sessions for specific setup needs.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

If I really have to find a problem but that honestly got way better through the years are performance, sometimes it was slow to load and in interface change but now it's way better and it does not slow down. I would love to be able to integrate it with WhatsApp, most of my tasks I receive there and I would like to automatically convert them into ClickUp tasks.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find ClickUp doubles my task management capability, keeping me on top of everything while providing a comprehensive project overview.

 ### 47. Easy-to-Use Interface Keeping Me Organized

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jen J. | Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find the user interface easy to use, especially the search feature. I don’t lose anything anymore, and I feel much more organized at work.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I have trouble finding the reports I need to track my tasks and my business. I wish there were more pre-built reporting templates available for me to choose from, so it would be easier to get the information I’m looking for.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps me organized without the overhead of managing the organization itself. Its built-in workflows mirror the way work actually moves through a team — from one person to the next, at the right time. When I complete a task, I can instantly assign the next step to whoever owns it, keeping projects moving forward without delays or dropped handoffs. It's the kind of tool that quietly saves you hours every week.

 ### 48. Automates Workflows Perfectly, Needs Better Notification Reliability

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sayed Shadman S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate the automation features and the ability to build workflows in ClickUp. It makes internal and external communication, as well as any departmental processes, easier to navigate. The multiple connectors and easy implementation options make my work smoother when setting up workflows or automation. The initial setup was easy for most of us, and although navigation was a bit tricky at first, everyone adapted quickly.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Well, even though ClickUp can do a lot of things, there are some lackings. For example, the notifications don't work properly; we miss multiple texts or mentions even though the settings are there. I suppose this case applies to web browsers, not apps. Also, the app itself should be more optimized, as it gets slow time to time. Sure, mainly loading time; jumping from one channel to another or one doc to another takes time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp keeps everything in one place, automating emails to categorize and send easily. It helps me track tasks and simplify communication and processes with its options and connectors.

 ### 49. ClickUp’s Flexibility and Automations Make It a True Productivity Command Center

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra C. | Event Producer, Events Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I’ve tried a lot of project management tools, but ClickUp stands out because of its incredible flexibility. It’s not just a task manager; it’s a complete digital program.
Main reasons why I love it:

- Total Customization: I love that I can view my work however I want—whether it’s a List, a Board, or a Calendar. It adapts to my brain, rather than forcing me to work a specific way.

- The "All-in-One" Factor: I don't have to jump between five different apps to get one project done.

- Automation Power: It handles the repetitive "busy work" for me. Setting up automations to move tasks or notify team members has saved me hours of manual updates.

ClickUp gives me a level of visibility and control over my workflow that other platforms just can't match. It’s more than a tool; it’s my productivity command center.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I Dislike About ClickUp:

The Steep Learning Curve: Because it has so many features, it can be overwhelming for beginners. It takes a significant amount of time to set everything up correctly, and the interface can feel "cluttered" or messy.

Mobile App Limitations: The mobile experience isn't nearly as smooth as the desktop version. It’s hard to navigate complex views on a small screen, making it less effective for working on the go.

Over-Engineering: Sometimes, having "everything" is too much. You can spend more time tweaking the settings and customizing your dashboard than actually doing your real work.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems ClickUp Solves & How They Benefit You
1. The "App Overload" Problem
The Problem: Most teams jump between Slack for chat, Trello for tasks, Google Docs for writing, and Excel for tracking. This leads to "context switching," which kills focus.
The Benefit to You: By centralizing everything, you save mental energy. You don’t have to remember where a specific file or conversation is—if it’s work-related, it’s in ClickUp.

2. The "Who is doing what?" Problem
The Problem: In many setups, it's hard to see the "big picture" or know if a project is actually on track without asking five people for updates.
The Benefit to You: With Dashboards and Everything View, you get instant clarity. It benefits you by providing a "source of truth," so you can spot bottlenecks before they become emergencies.

3. The Repetitive Task Problem
The Problem: Manually moving tasks, sending reminder emails, and updating statuses is a waste of time.
The Benefit to You: Automations act like a personal assistant. They handle the boring stuff, allowing you to spend your time on high-value work that actually requires your brain.

4. The "One Size Fits All" Problem
The Problem: Most tools force you to work their way (e.g., only Boards or only Lists).
The Benefit to You: Because it is Highly Customizable, it scales with you. Whether you are managing a simple grocery list or a complex product launch, the tool morphs to fit your specific needs at that moment.

 ### 50. Streamlined Workflows with ClickUp's Super Agents

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for creating projects with tasks, and it helps me keep track of due dates, comments, and workload. I absolutely love the super agents that prepare email drafts for daily updates on projects for my clients. This has made it easier as I no longer need to check every task manually. Email notifications keep me informed about any movements with my tasks, enabling me to take action promptly. I also like how seamlessly it integrates with Harvest for time tracking. Overall, I've been using ClickUp for 4 years and really like it, especially now that our plan includes AI, which I'm excited to explore. I would rate ClickUp a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it to others.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

When I select several tasks for a bulk action, there's a black bar with the options that sometimes blocks the last item of the list. That is really annoying.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to track due dates, manage comments and workload, and send project update emails efficiently with the super agents. Email notifications keep me updated on action items without manually checking each task.
