"A Centralized and Scalable Platform for Modern Project Management"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I find most helpful about ClickUp is its ability to centralize project information while supporting strong collaboration and reporting. The platform offers excellent dashboards, flexible customization through custom fields and templates, and solid documentation and knowledge‑management features, which makes daily project oversight more efficient. It also integrates well with Azure DevOps and includes generous AI and automation credits that simplify several project‑management tasks.

It stands out for collaboration, dashboards, reporting, and capacity planning, and it provides optimized capabilities for documentation and knowledge management.

Additionally, the quality and responsiveness of customer support contribute positively to the overall experience, helping to resolve issues quickly and ensuring the platform remains reliable in a fast‑paced environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

ClickUp lacks native finance‑management features, offers only basic risk‑management capabilities, and its schedule‑management functionality is not as strong as what other tools provide. These limitations introduce friction when trying to manage end‑to‑end project oversight within a single environment.

Additionally, the platform has constraints in how spaces and multi‑level folder structures can be organized, which can make it harder to design a clean and scalable information architecture for large or complex teams.

There are also many apps available inside ClickUp, but several are still at early maturity levels, missing essential options that would be required to make them fully operational for complex organizations (Timesheet). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable, Boosts Team Alignment"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I appreciate ClickUp for its versatility and customizability, allowing me to organize tasks and projects in multiple ways such as lists, boards, or timelines. This flexibility means everyone in the team can work in the view that makes the most sense for them. I also find the ability to assign tasks, set priorities, and track progress in real-time to be great for accountability and meeting deadlines. The custom fields, statuses, and priorities let us track exactly what's important for each project, improving clarity and accountability. The dashboards and reporting features provide real-time visibility into workloads, deadlines, and project progress, which helps us make informed decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I find the onboarding process overwhelming, with insufficient guidance for new users. It would be great if setting up automations and dashboards were simplified and more intuitive, perhaps with pre-built templates or drag-and-drop features. Notifications can become distracting due to their volume, so having more granular controls would be beneficial. Overall, while ClickUp offers many features, new users might feel overwhelmed without more guided tutorials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Task Management, Slight Learning Curve"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I primarily use ClickUp as my project and task management tool. It helps me manage my tasks for any project and involves multiple stakeholders, maintaining transparency and accountability. The best thing I like about ClickUp is that it consolidates all my tasks in one place. The dashboard feature is greatly helpful for me and my team, providing an overview of the project. I can align my tasks for the week or month, and it serves as my daily to-do list, helping me keep deadlines in mind. Better task management and dashboard features were really helpful when switching from Asana to ClickUp. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

It is a bit complex for the new users. Also, sometimes I have faced an issue while inviting my other teammates on ClickUp on their workspace email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Organizational Mastery with ClickUp's Robust Features"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love being able to turn emails into tasks and send those directly to a list. I also love assigning tasks to team members and making comments, which allows everyone to work asynchronously. I like having the organizational structure and have even created a little infographic for myself to help understand how items fit into spaces, folders, and down to subtasks. This structure helps me know exactly where an item I'm thinking of should go. It just keeps things from falling through the cracks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I'm still trying to figure out how to quickly add tasks. I still have a Post-it note system at my desk because when I have an immediate thought and don't have time to create a whole list and folder, it feels like a lot to figure out. In Trello, it was really easy to just type it out. Now I feel like it needs to be put in the right place or it gets lost, which delays task creation. Sometimes I even finish a task, and it's never in ClickUp. I'd like to track my time better, like how much time I spent on a task, but sometimes creating the task takes more time than just completing it. Also, I would have liked more time with a one-on-one person during setup since it's very involved, and ClickUp offers this feature for a price. However, it was expensive enough already that maybe more time should be given to help leverage it better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Features with a Learning Curve"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

What I like most about ClickUp is the vast amount of features it offers. It really allows you to do practically anything you want and is useful for any area of the company. I'm excited that they are constantly launching new things and improving, which keeps it always up to date. I also highly value the chat functionality, which we found very interesting because it integrates everything into a single platform, making it easier to track projects, tasks, and contacts. The option to record the screen and share it internally is excellent, and the call guide notes are very useful and practical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

And at times it takes a while to load certain pages. We believe that to use it 100% as a CRM, it still needs improvement. It has several integration features with emails or calls that I think have a lot of room for improvement. And then, I think the IIA payment systems, although they are very powerful, can be complicated for companies to adapt to the entire team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"ClickUp Made Clinic Task Management Smooth and Organized"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I used ClickUp earlier to manage my clinic and education-related work. As a dietician and homeopathy clinic manager, I had many small but important tasks like patient follow ups, diet plan revisions, report reviews, and content planning. ClickUp helped me keep all these tasks organized in one place, which made daily work easier to handle.

It was easy to start using and did not require much setup. I could quickly create tasks for patient diet reviews, set reminders for follow ups, and track pending work. I used it regularly during that time to plan clinic activities and organize health education topics. The features were practical for my needs, such as task lists, due dates, and progress tracking. It also fit well into my daily workflow and helped me stay clear about what needed attention. Overall, ClickUp supported better organization and smoother work management when I was using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

There was not much to dislike about ClickUp, but for my type of work it sometimes felt a little heavy. Since I mainly needed it for simple clinic tasks and follow-ups, the number of options and views could feel slightly overwhelming at first. It took some time to get fully comfortable with all the features.

Apart from this, it worked fine, but for very basic task tracking I later preferred simpler tools. These were small usability points rather than major issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly recommend Brain MAX for anyone serious about boosting productivity and clarity!"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp Brain MAX has been an incredible addition to my workflow. The way it combines multiple LLMs in one platform makes responses faster and more reliable, and the speech-to-text across the platform is a huge time-saver. I also really appreciate the enterprise-grade security, which gives peace of mind when handling sensitive information.

What stands out most is how it helps me cut through the noise and think clearer — whether I’m summarizing meetings, drafting content, or brainstorming new ideas. It feels like having an all-in-one AI assistant that adapts to whatever I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Because ClickUp is packed with features, customization options, and different views (lists, boards, Gantt, etc.), it can be overwhelming at first. New users often need considerable time to become comfortable and productive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Workflow Tool with Room for CRM Improvement"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I really like the flexibility of being able to set up various views, copying lists, and the ability to set up automation in ClickUp. The flexibility of setting up various lists and reports was a key reason for switching to ClickUp from other tools like Insightly and Tax Workflow. The initial setup was also very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I would love it if it had more CRM capabilities. For example, pulling up a client in the CRM and being able to see all projects that are assigned to that client. I realize this can be done via a very manual process. It would be great if when setting up a project it automatically linked to the client in the CRM. If I pull up a client in the CRM list, I would like to see in a list view (rather than a button) all the projects associated to that client. I also would like these projects to link to the client automatically rather than manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unmatched Flexibility Makes ClickUp a Project Management Powerhouse"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

ClickUp's strength lies in its flexibility. The number of ways the software can be configured for project management feels nearly endless. Other platforms are great too but I think ClickUp bests them in this regard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

Steep learning curve. Because of the flexible nature of the platform it can be quite daunting to get started. My best piece of advice? Simplify your initial view to only what's essential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Highly Customizable, Ideal for Task Automation"
What do you like best about ClickUp?

I love that ClickUp has a lot of customizations. I can click, turn on and off different settings to help depending on the type of business I have and the spaces I want. It's great that I can make it really big or very minimal and easy to use with their granularity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ClickUp?

I think the learning curve for ClickUp is very long and steep. It would be great to have a light or more minimal version, especially for clients or collaborators not familiar with project management tools. They currently have to go through an intensive training period to understand all of ClickUp's features, like spaces and hierarchies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
