**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp makes my workplace more customizable, which is mainly why I keep coming back to it after trying other project management tools. The time tracking feature has been useful for me in understanding where time goes, especially on longer projects. I've also experimented with whiteboards for planning ideas before turning them into tasks, which makes the transition from brainstorming to execution much smoother. Once I got the hang of it, the extensive features helped me stay organized and reduce the time I spend switching between different apps due to its automation. Despite an initial learning curve, once things are organized the way I want them, ClickUp becomes a very capable platform overall.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The only downside is that the number of features can feel overwhelming at first. But there is definitely a learning curve and after that it's smooth.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps customize my workplace, manage time with the time tracking feature, and smoothens planning to execution using whiteboards. It reduces time spent switching between apps and keeps me organized. While feature-rich, it can feel overwhelming initially.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like best is having a single, standardized structure for all projects — Charter, Phases, RAID, Change Requests and Lessons Learned in one place. It gives real visibility across projects, makes reporting on KPIs like OTD much easier, and the dashboards, custom fields and Azure DevOps integration are clear improvements over what we had before.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The main downside is the two-level folder hierarchy limit, which forces workarounds when organizing projects inside program folders. Permissions are also restrictive — regular users can't create their own Spaces, so everything depends on an admin.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is solving the lack of a centralized place to manage projects. Before, information was scattered across PowerPoints, SharePoint and Excel, which made it hard to track schedules, risks and KPIs across projects. Now we have a standard structure and dashboards that give real visibility over project status, OTD and other indicators, saving time in reporting and improving consistency across teams.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The UI feels modern, and they run frequent sprints based on their request board. They integrate with many of the apps we already use, which has made it easy to fit into our workflow. Overall, it’s a solid product, and our team has adopted it well. Their support team is top notch, and they’re also making strides with the AI component of the app.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The Chrome web extension is really poor and needs work. Sometimes unexplained bugs arise, especially on desktop and mitigation takes a while, given their massive roadmap. I also would like to see the chat functionality improve and separation between notifications for chats vs task notifications.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing our workload in one place is invaluable. It lets us delegate effectively, report on the data, and quickly see who’s falling behind. Being able to bring data into the app via APIs from other sources also creates much-needed transparency for both our team and leadership.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I believe that because it is very comprehensive, and you can use a good part of the tools in basic plans, being able to scale the subscription as needed.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Since it is a complex tool, some updates take time to arrive. For example, the table tool has always been problematic; you couldn't search within tables created in text documents or even convert them efficiently.

Another issue is the AI, which, besides having a high cost, doesn't necessarily solve your problems, but this is a general market trend. Unfortunately, companies bet on AI as something magical, but the cost of training them is very high for something that is not yours for life.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As tools in the environment, being able to visualize tasks, processes, and maintain records in a user-friendly way is great. I think the differentiator lies in the customizable views of the lists and the time tracking, which is very efficient.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is that the platform keeps improving its UI and overall user experience almost every month. The interface feels modern and is generally easy to navigate, although it can occasionally be a bit hard to locate certain features after they’ve been moved or reorganized.

ClickUp has also been very reliable for me and is consistently available whenever I need it. The pricing is competitive, and I feel it offers solid value for the set of features that are included.

Customer service is another major strength. My interactions with the support and onboarding teams have been very positive, and they’ve been helpful any time I’ve needed assistance.

I haven’t used the integrations or AI features yet, so I can’t comment on those areas at this point.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I dislike most is that, because ClickUp updates and improves the UI frequently, it can sometimes be difficult to find features after they have been moved or reorganized. Although I appreciate the continuous improvements, the changes can disrupt established workflows.

For example, I upload images frequently. Previously, I could access the image upload option with one click, but now it requires two clicks. It may seem like a small change, but when you use the feature regularly, the additional step becomes noticeable and makes the workflow less efficient.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps our team organize and manage tasks, track follow-ups, and execute projects more efficiently. It gives us a centralized place to assign responsibilities, set priorities, monitor progress, and keep important information tied to each task.

Since adopting it, our coordination has improved and the risk of missed follow-ups has gone down, while our visibility into overall project status has increased. As a result, we stay more organized, communicate more clearly, and complete projects with greater consistency and accountability.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the flexibility, I can use it for any business, department, personal no matter the industry. It is so flexible yet not overwhelming with options like others.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I am not a fan of the cluttered view, a more basic view I would enjoy more specially after I am done setting up all I need, having access to all the settings and what not takes away from my operation.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Task management and other features that a lot of industry-specific software may not have. Also, the fact that I can integrate it with Claude Ai has been amazing. Performance-wise, it’s never down, unlike other industry software I’ve used that regularly has one or two components down or under maintenance. The pricing is amazing for the monthly cost, so it’s great for both startups and big companies. That said, I’m still not a fan of the Ai or the onboarding; the overall experience with it feels a bit counterintuitive for me.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is how it brings tasks, documentation, communication, and project tracking together in one place. Its flexibility to customize workflows and views makes it easier for different teams to stay organized, collaborate smoothly, and keep clear visibility into project progress without having to constantly switch between multiple tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One downside of ClickUp is that its extensive feature set can make the interface feel overwhelming at first. It can take a while to configure workflows and get team members trained and comfortable using it effectively, and occasional performance slowdowns may disrupt productivity. That said, once everything is properly set up, the benefits generally outweigh these drawbacks.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us centralize task management, PRDs, technical specifications, environment variables, and overall project documentation in one workspace. By keeping everything in a single place, we spend less time context switching, get better visibility across teams, and make sure everyone is working from the same up-to-date information. In practice, that speeds up delivery and helps reduce miscommunication.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

We have benefitted greatly from the flexibility CU allows - sprints can be customised to different needs for different products / teams / workflows with statuses that make sense. 
The lists feature also allows lots of flexibility for non-sprint workflows.
This allows us to use it across the business for developers and non-developers and for a wide variety of different types of work.
Generally speaking it is really fast and performant which makes it convenient and easy to use.
We also benefit from the integrations being able to use the CU MCP for AI integrations with Claude for example.
I also really like the Inbox feature and how it helps me to manage notifications and keep on top of different areas of work. Notifications can be a nightmare but CU's inbox feature allows one to manage this quite well.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I find navigating between different spaces / sprints etc a little bit inefficient at times. I'm sure there are better ways to do this using favourites and/or hotkeys etc - I just find that with a large number of spaces / lists / sprints to switch between that I spend a lot of time expanding and collapsing lists on the LHS sidebar when I should probably be switching between them some other way to avoid the inefficiency of scanning and clicking so much each time I want to switch contexts. Maybe different methods of navigation can be pushed more aggressively in onboarding / tutorials cos I've been using CU for a long time and haven't learnt a better way to handle navigation yet - I feel like I'm probably missing some shortcuts.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing deliverables - keeping track of what I need to do and for whom. Also enabling visibility on other deliverables that I need to consult on or review for others. Shared workspaces and keeping track of tasks across different teams is very valuable.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The platform can be adapted to almost any workflow and allows you to create dedicated dashboards for each team member. Its automation features streamline processes, making them easier to track, manage, and report on.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Setting up automations could be more user-friendly. Duplicating and slightly modifying automations across multiple spaces is currently cumbersome.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing the team, ensuring work is completed on time, and simplifying reporting and tracking are the biggest benefits.

I especially love the Advanced Search feature, although I'd love to see it continue to evolve. It would be great to have a larger search window, the ability to select multiple tasks directly from the results, open those selected tasks in a separate window for easier processing, or export only the selected items. Additional filtering options, such as excluding tasks with due dates in the past, would also make it even more powerful. Overall, however, I find it extremely useful.

The same applies to Dashboards. They give each team member a clear view of their workload and priorities, which helps everyone stay on track and complete tasks on time. Thanks to dashboards, the need for day-to-day communication is minimal, as team members can easily see what they need to work on and monitor their own progress.

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What do I like best about ClickUp? Everything.

No, seriously. 

I've been using ClickUp for several years now, and the way I can continuously work it into my workflow is amazing.

ClickUp is my task manager, of course. But pretty much all of my AI workflows involve ClickUp at some stage - my dispatcher picks tasks up from my lists to run each morning. As something goes through a pipeline, notes are added to the task. If something goes sideways (which, of course, something will), I have the information needed to fix things.

If I had to cut my stack down to four tools, it would be ClickUp, Google Workspace, Slack, and Claude... and with ClickUp, I know I could cut that list down more. However, ClickUp updates flow through to Slack and email. Claude has it doing things I did not know were possible.

The performance has been top-notch, support has been amazing, and the pricing, well, I'm on the free level, but with a small team (me and Claude!), I could upgrade and get access to Brain2....

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My biggest frustration with ClickUp, back when I was in a larger organization, was that I couldn’t enable AI for only certain seats. I wanted to limit it to specific users rather than having to give it to everyone.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is the backbone of my organization. It keeps me focused and organized. I wouldn't start a new organization tomorrow without it.
