Freshbooks offers conversion services for users transitioning from Quickbooks which was very helpful. **What do you dislike about FreshBooks?** The accounting features are getting better, but still have a ways to go until Freshbooks is a full-featured stand-alone SMB accounting application. **What problems is FreshBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?** I switched from Quickbooks Online which was getting increasingly expensive and their support was just horrible. Freshbooks has been a much better value and the support experience is far superior to Intuit's. Invoicing and collection is very easy; I use Freshbooks for tracking all expenses and reconciling bank / credit card accounts. Some of the features are not very well developed (e.g. journal entries and asset depreciation which requires a lot of manual effort. Some of the features (like expense classification and reconciliations) are in separate sections and currently require some extra steps which would be unnecessary if they were combined in the section application section. I have only been using Freshbooks for approximately 1 year, but have already seen that they are committed to improving the product and it has been getting better during the time I've used it. ### 18. Easy to track clients and projects, and to set prices for different situations. **What do you dislike about FreshBooks?** My biggest frustration is with the iOS version of the app -- while the computer/browser version is great, it's not possible to look at the time tracking on the smart phone. Every month I'm asked (while away from my computer) "how many hours do you estimate for project X this month?" and I cannot anser that without going to the browser version (yes, I can do that on my phone, but then why have the phone app?). **What problems is FreshBooks solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am able to keep clear records of the time spent on every project and for every client. Since my business is practically all billed by the hour, this is invaluable. I love being able to click "start" when I start my time on a project, and pause or end it as needed.
