## ClickUp Reviews
  ### 1. Comprehensive Tool with Some Performance Trade-offs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isibe M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how ClickUp combines tasks, calendars, team chat, and documents into a single dashboard, eliminating the need to jump between multiple tools. The platform helps me with multitasking efficiently. I find the Email-to-Task Integration feature particularly valuable because it turns important emails into tasks with due dates, ensuring nothing gets lost in the inbox. The Multi-View Dashboards allow me to plan my week effectively with a calendar view or focus on urgent priorities in a clean list. Besides, the built-in docs are great for keeping templates and guides right next to my daily tasks. The initial setup was very easy and stressless, which I appreciated. Moreover, I value the integration with Google Workspace, Outlook, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Slack, which sync seamlessly with ClickUp. This makes managing tasks and collaborations much more straightforward.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Clunky Mobile App: The mobile version feels slow and cramped compared to the desktop version, making it harder to manage tasks or view calendars on the go. Occasional Sluggishness: Because the app handles so much data, it can sometimes lag, load slowly, or hog computer memory when clicking between complex dashboards. Overwhelming Interface: There are so many buttons and settings that it is incredibly easy for a beginner to feel overwhelmed by feature overload during the initial setup. Paywalled Advanced Features: Some of the best automation tools and advanced features are locked behind the most expensive pricing tiers, which can be frustrating for smaller businesses.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp replaces multiple tools by combining tasks, calendars, chat, and documents in one dashboard. Its Email-to-Task feature keeps my inbox organized, and multi-view dashboards help plan and prioritize tasks. Built-in docs keep templates handy, making it easier to manage tasks.

  ### 2. best team management tool

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bilal R. | SDE 2, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Clickup’s recent AI upgrades have been a massive timesaver for our workflow, especially when it comes to summarizing long task threads and drafting routine content. The core task management is still excellent, making it incredibly easy to assign and track deliverables across the team. I also really appreciate how flexible the dashboards are, they provide a great high-level view of our overall project health and team velocity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Clickup does a ton, but honestly, it can still feel incredibly overwhelming when you're first starting out. There are just so many menus, toggles, and customization settings that it’s easy to get lost. Also, trying to get actual support is a little pain.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the main and important problem that clickup solved was tassk management and business chatting .The real time chatting feature helps connecting with team quickly and it has good ui and easy to use we started getting hang of it very quickly.

  ### 3. Still the backbone of how we run operations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2024

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The AI notes have been the standout addition for me. Meeting notes and summaries get captured and turned into actionable items automatically, which saves real time when you're coordinating across a remote team and can't manually write up every sync. Pairing that with the custom fields and intake forms I already relied on means more of my workflow now lives in one place instead of scattered across separate tools.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

A hard, non-resettable cap on adding subtasks across multiple lists tripped us up mid-sprint-we had no warning we were approaching it, and the only fix was upgrading the whole workspace. Usage limits like this should be visible with a counter or warning well before you hit the wall, not discovered the moment a routine action stops working.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me manage multiple projects and team members across different time zones, all in one place. It solves the problem of scattered communication and disjointed workflows by keeping everything—from tasks to deadlines and docs—centralized and easy to track. This means I spend less time chasing updates and more time focusing on high-impact work, ultimately boosting my productivity and helping my team stay aligned.

  ### 4. Easy to Learn, Fast, and Packed with Integrations - Great Value in ClickUp

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin H. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like how easy it is to pick up. When I was tasked with trying out the platform, I found it very easy to learn and set up a workflow that would work for our team. It is an all-in-one tool that does so much and more. For any agency looking to consolidate tools, ClickUp can help reduce cross-platform bloat and mess.

The tool also benefits from several platform integrations, allowing you to pull data from other sources and use the built-in search to find chat history, files, etc., from your other tools.

The platform is very responsive and fast, and you can quickly set up new jobs, tasks and subtasks without too much hassle.

The pricing is quite fair, too. You are getting a lot for the subscription fee you pay, depending on the level you choose. We use some of the automation features and AI tools, and so far, have not hit any of our limits.

During our onboarding, we were supported thoroughly by the team at ClickUp, and they continue to send helpful tips, webinars, and suggestions, to help us get the most out of ClickUp.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There have been a few times when I've tried to set something up and hit a wall. But these are quite rare. One example was when I tried to build a holiday tracking board. I wanted to allocate a set number of days to each member of staff and use some sort of formula to subtract the holidays they had booked through ClickUp, allowing them to easily see how many days they had left. I hit a wall with this and gave up. It seemed that formulas or any other type of feature wouldn't fit this scenario. Other than that, there hasn't really been much else that I can report. And in all fairness, I tried setting up the holiday board a while ago, so it may be that what I was trying before is now available. ClickUp are great at adding new and improved features, as well as requesting features.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before ClickUp, we used Trello boards to track work. Trello was no good for capacity planning, so we started looking at alternatives that could provide a really good solution to track capacity and see everything easily all in one place. ClickUp solved everything we needed. It was capable of achieving everything we had running in Trello, but was also able to do so much more including time tracking and the capacity tracking we were looking for. Since taking on ClickUp, we have found that it is capable of so many things we hadn't even planned on using it for.

  ### 5. Solid all in one tool with useful AI features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David B. | Product manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how everything is in one place and how much you can customize it. I also love the AI features, especially the Notetaker, i use it a lot for turning quick notes or meeting summaries into actual task without much effort. It feels like the platform bends to fit my workflow instead of making me adapt to it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It can feel overwhelming at first with so many features, and notifications get noisy if you don’t tune them. The app also slows sometimes when the workspace gets big. Though, still not a dealbreaker.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the major headaches of scattered information and jumping between too many tools. Now everything is in one workspace. We have bettered visibility, fewer missed tasks, faster reporting with time tracking and smoother collaboration using docs, whiteboards, and the AI Notetaker.

  ### 6. ClickUp is a tool that allows you to replace almost all the others

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rodrigo R. | Gerente operacional, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

ClickUp helps a lot in visualizing and organizing processes, making it clear at which stage each one is. Communication with the team becomes much more effective, and time management becomes more precise. Overall, it is a complete tool. Integration with other services is something that helps us a lot in our day-to-day.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Perhaps if more resources and autonomy could be implemented for guest users, in addition to the usage limits of AI and Superagents, it would be of great value. The pricing could also be reviewed, as it becomes somewhat costly for a small business. The support could also be better improved, especially for users who speak Brazilian Portuguese. The performance on more modest machines could also be enhanced.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrations with other Artificial Intelligence services.

  ### 7. Can't be efficient without it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina C. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I do like the AI capabilities. It's nice to be able to use it to summarize tasks & put together a list of projects between a date range. It was particularly helpful when needing to gather projects during my medical leave to hand off to my teammates.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The platform can be a little laggy from time to time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With ClickUp, I am able to visualize all the work I have to do all in one place. It's been extremely helpful when prepping for campaign deployment. I utilize the calendar and list view to track statuses & see which campaigns are coming up.

  ### 8. Feature-Rich, Customizable ClickUp That Saves Hours with Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alyssa H. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how feature-rich ClickUp is. There’s definitely a steep learning curve, but once you understand the platform, you can use it to do pretty much anything. I also really appreciate how customizable the experience is, especially with options like custom fields. Information used to be fragmented before. Having custom fields keeps thing tidy and details easy to find. Automation is another feature I enjoy. It cuts out lots of busy work I'd normally be doing day to day. I use it heavily to fill in custom fields when people submit a project request form. Rather than having to create tasks by hand (as I was before), this saves me hours

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My top complaints (in no particular order) are as follows:
1. Platform is slow (pages take up to 5 seconds to load)
2. UI is buggy
3. ClickUp is missing important features (subfolders, nested conditional questions in forms)
4. Platform is hard/takes a long time to learn (my team consistently struggles to find tasks)
5. Automation system is too simple/doesn't offer enough tools (I would love if there was an "or" option to triggers. Also, actions are very limited--I would like to see more options like "remove task from list")
6. Not a fan of the strong push for AI

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tasks used to get dropped or forgotten, and communication was fragmented. Clickup has helped bring more transparency to our work. Now tasks aren’t getting missed, it’s easier to find the information we need, and communication is kept in one place. Our clients can also see us making progress on tasks, which helps them feel more satisfied.

  ### 9. Effortlessly Organizes My Small Business Tasks

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debbie G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to organize my day, and it really helps me stretch my day effectively. I appreciate having my to-do list all in the ClickUp app rather than on my phone. This way, I can set times and days for my tasks and manage them efficiently. I find it particularly valuable for managing a long list of tasks for my small business. The app makes it easy to track the completion of tasks, as I can mark them off as done. The setup was very easy; I just downloaded it on my iPad, and it was all very simple.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I don't like the desktop app as much as I like the app on my iPad. I feel that the desktop app doesn't always update the information on my iPad in real-time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me organize my day by managing my to-do list with set times and dates, instead of using my phone. This is really helpful for handling tasks in my small business.

  ### 10. ClickUp Brings Order to Agency Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenira V. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love the project management setup as part of an agency. Design can be so messy and all over the place but ClickUp helps to make it all make sense in the end, especially working with many team members.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I did not like that some of the features ended up being cut from the unlimited plan, but i understand. We then decided to move to the business plan in which case has been a phenomenal jump for us. I do not really use the inbox feature and feel this might give me anxiety when i see 41 messages unread. I wish i could understand how to use ClickUp as a marketing calendar but it is so confusing.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary problem is how to go from the discovery with a client all the way to the end once the deliverable is complete. I must say since starting using ClickUp, i have been more level-headed. For me it is far more superior than monday.com and zoho combined. It is so quick and responsive and is very aesthetically pleasing. This matters a lot to our workflow as designers primarily. We love that clickup helps us understand timelines, although one thing would be to make the different items in the GANTT chart more colour coded. ClickUp the way ZenPilot recommends to set up has been a lifesaver. You can set clickup up anyway you like but i think ZenPilot really helped us understand the best workflow for an agency.

  ### 11. Customization and Centralization at Its Best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashley . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to plan and collaborate with my employees. I really like how it centralizes tasks and goals all in one place, which helps to consolidate workflows and track project progress easily. The customization and flexibility it offers are fantastic, allowing me to plan housekeeping duties for my staff, set goals, and track progress of customized tasks all in one spot. It's great for setting goals for my housekeeping team and keeping track of each housekeeper's progress. This feature lets me know where recognition is due and where improvements need to be made per individual. Plus, the initial setup was surprisingly easy, which was a nice touch.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I did not find anything that I did not like

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to centralize tasks and goals, consolidate workflows, and track project progress. It helps me plan housekeeping duties, set goals, and monitor individual progress.

  ### 12. Customizable Yet Complex Project Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul C. | Head of Sales and marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the amount of things we can do with ClickUp, especially the custom fields and custom columns. They help us stay organized in our projects by allowing us to put everything in place and track specific fields that are important for each project. This feature makes it easy to update our columns and stay organized in a way that's individualized for our specific project needs.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I would say it is sometimes clunky. So maybe because of the amount of stuff that it can do. Feel that it can be clunky at times. Is the experience just going in and out of different tabs or different projects or where things are, definitely maybe a learning curve for many.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for project management to keep us organized and visualize our projects so everyone knows their tasks and progress. It helps assign tasks and provides time and budget estimates.

  ### 13. Pleasant design and many options: from simple lists to advanced sprints

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erick David F. | Desarrollador de aplicaciones para móviles, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It has a pleasant and familiar design compared to other proposals. I see many options to be able to create different things depending on the needs, ranging from lists for the simplest tasks to advanced sprints for large projects. It feels fluid most of the time.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Having so many things on screen can be a bit overwhelming, it would be nice to be able to turn off sections that won't be used for certain spaces.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project management is always complex, and although we can manage them on simple spreadsheets, dedicated software for these tasks is much better. At least for our small company, Excel has been useful, but we cannot continue with this if we want to extract detailed information on times, priorities, team, etc. Additionally, we miss out on integrations with our everyday apps.

  ### 14. ClickUp’s All-in-One Platform with Powerful Customisation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prakriti M. | Talent Acquisition Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 29, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I think the biggest standout is ClickUp’s all-in-one approach. Rather than juggling separate tools for tasks, documents, goals, time tracking, and reporting, it brings everything together in a single platform. Another major strength is its customisation: we can tailor workflows, statuses, views (List, Board, Gantt, Calendar), and fields to fit almost any team, whether it’s product, marketing, or operations. It adapts to how you work instead of forcing you into a fixed structure.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

My biggest complaint is the slow loading times when I’m working with large projects or a lot of tasks, and the occasional lag in dashboards or more complex views. That said, it has improved over time. I also want to add that using advanced features (automation limits, AI, exports) requires upgrades, and costs can increase as a team scales. So while it starts out cheap, it can become expensive depending on how much you use it.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp primarily solves the problem of fragmented, inefficient work environments where tasks, communication, and information are scattered across multiple tools, making it hard for teams to stay aligned and productive. By bringing tasks, documents, communication, goals, and reporting into a single platform, it reduces the need to constantly switch between applications, which helps cut down on confusion and saves time. It also tackles the lack of visibility many teams face by offering real-time tracking, clear ownership, and structured workflows, so everyone understands what they’re responsible for and when it’s due. In addition, ClickUp reduces manual effort through automation and standardised processes, allowing teams to spend more time on meaningful work instead of coordination overhead.

  ### 15. Highly Customizable, Great for Bridging Communication Gaps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel E. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like that ClickUp is very easy to use and that you can customize it pretty much most ways you want. It doesn't push us into a box where everything has to be a certain way. Since we use ClickUp for so many different areas, each department can effectively look different, which means operations doesn't have to look like project management. This flexibility allows us to customize each workspace for each team and sometimes even for each project, enabling us to use ClickUp for as much of our work as possible. I also like that once you have a good feel for ClickUp and how it works, it's pretty easy to navigate, with no huge learning curve for the initial use.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it can be a bit glitchy. I had saved a template task and I actually wound up deleting it because I would go to duplicate it, and a lot of the times, it wouldn't pop up. In the time that it took, I could just add a subtask to my main task.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us track tasks and prevent details from slipping through the cracks, especially with time zone differences. It bridges communication gaps, making collaboration more effective, even with my client not in the same time zone.

  ### 16. Versatile Tool for Managing Complex Tasks-- and so much more.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Barbara W.

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for pretty much everything, including maintaining and managing a house with seven kids, managing my freelance business, and organizing work tasks. ClickUp makes it really easy to navigate complicated tasks and helps keep track of a lot of information and data across various projects. It aids communication among people on different projects and assists in staying on top of multiple tasks at once, and has features to help keep you focused when it matters. My favorite thing about ClickUp is using the different views to see all the information about my tasks and creating dashboards that display all the data I need. It's incredible to look at my data in personalized ways. I also really like maintaining a running log on each task to avoid confusion about progress. I love how ClickUp connects to a lot of different software and other tools I use, acting as a catch-all for everything. Its ability to be tweaked for all different types of activities I track stands out for me. Lastly, although the initial setup wasn't super easy, ClickUp made it manageable by providing sensible prompts, and their help desk is super responsive.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The initial setup for ClickUp wasn't super easy. Well, I should say it was complicated, but ClickUp made it easier with prompts and intuitive features. It does take some practice and playing around to get used to it and set it up properly.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp makes it easy to navigate complex tasks, maintain a lot of information, and stay on top of multiple projects at once. It helps people communicate easily and gives me the flexibility to organize my work as needed.

  ### 17. As an EA, I would always try to get ALL of my clients to use ClickUp to save time and stay on track...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rashida D. | Executive Administrative Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 21, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Now, as the SC Ops Coordinator of the globe's leading Aesthetic MedTech company, I still use ClickUp to keep things organized.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

As for improvements, I absolutely abhor the time stamps that pop up when my tasks' Due Dates are updated via Zapier integration with Salesforce. Nothing I do mitigates the issue, either. It's also annoying that when adding dates, ClickUp will assume what I mean instead of just accepting what I type. I know what I mean - I don't need a correction protocol for typing dates. Almost nobody does, tbh.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps eliminate confusion and redundancy. Helps manage time and other resources. Help log time, activity, and other metricks.

**Official Response from Shanee Shepardson:**

> Hey, Rashida!

We really appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

We're so happy to hear that you're enjoying a productivity boost with ClickUp!

Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything at all!

Have an amazing and productive day!

  ### 18. ClickUp Streamlined Our Workflows with Flexible Views and Powerful Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sabina K. | IT Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The ClickUp project management tool has streamlined our workflows by bringing tasks, documents, goals, and time tracking together. The flexibility of the views such as list, board, Gantt and calendar enables everyone to choose their preferred way of working. The automation capabilities have also proved to be a major benefit by taking over tedious task allocation and status updates that took up large chunks of our team's time each week.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are many features that can be customized which can make set-up of the workspace time consuming. Also, advanced reporting and unlimited storage are reserved for higher plans which, over time, can result in additional expense.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp has overcome the issue of using multiple apps to manage tasks, documents and goals by unifying these under one roof.

  ### 19. Versatile Forever Free Plan That Scales Smoothly as You Grow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jesper V. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Its versatile architecture - you can definitely use it for free for personal use or small business. And if needed, you can add features at a reasonable cost once your business grows.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There are two things I'm not a big fan of. First, when you start up and select the Forever Free plan, you are still enrolled in a trial of a paid plan for two weeks. This means you might begin using some features that will be inaccessible after two weeks. Also, there is no very clear way to distinguish which features are paid for and which are not. Second, the trial involves limited uses of certain features on the Free Forever plan. Some features have a restricted number of uses (not per month, but overall), which again means you're using something that you will not have access to in the near future. I would prefer the plans only had the features they currently offer, and if the user wishes, they could try out higher plans for a certain period of time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp excels at making complicated projects easy to handle. It helps in breaking down projects as granular as you need. You can use Spaces as projects, and within them have Folders, List, Tasks, and Subtasks. You can create relationships between tasks and choose different task types. This means your "task" could actually be a company, and you can create a whole Sales CRM within it. Its hyper versatility is something that makes it suitable for any use case.

  ### 20. Streamlined Project Management with Flexible Integration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sophie H. | Fotografin, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like the connection between ClickUp and Claude, which makes my daily work life easier and faster. I don't have to switch between apps on my desktop, and I can easily update a task in Claude. ClickUp provides a clear overview of my dashboard and my projects/tasks. It helps me get clear on what needs to be done, by whom, and when. I also appreciate the ability to divide a complex to-do into multiple tasks so I don't lose focus.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

For beginners, it can be quite tricky to decipher how to create new phases of a project. I had to spend an hour or so researching how to do that without breaking previously created templates. Not quite sure how, but first of all make it easier to find how to create new phases/stages for a project.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to organize complex projects into stages, making it clear what needs to be done, by whom, and when. The connection with Claude helps update tasks and provides a daily overview based on priority, streamlining my workflow without switching apps.

  ### 21. ClickUp Boosted Our Productivity with Easy Task Creation, Dashboards, with Helpful AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

Most of my teams are on ClickUp, and we use channels to chat with each team. It’s easy to switch into management mode and track tasks, and most importantly, I can create a task directly from a chat, which is very helpful. I also set up custom dashboards to monitor task progress and keep an eye on how work is moving forward.

I have integrated my google calendar to join meetings instantly. I also use clickup calls sometimes.

performance has increased recently with the new updates to clickup and I can easily navigate. The pricing is also good for the number of heads in my team. We have been able to get live support from clickup representatives. The AI brain has been useful to create tasks, plam sprints etc

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it gets stuck, and it consumes a lot of my RAM. Switching between projects can also be slow at times, which interrupts my workflow.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s mainly for task management, and it helps me get feedback from clients directly through a ClickUp form into a task board that we can track and manage.

  ### 22. Good IT project management hub with wide range of functionalities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maris B. | Head of Information Technology, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2023

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It has also a chat application similar to Slack and screen recording tool that are useful in several cases. Also, a lot of AI integrations in different tools that help to do things faster.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

With the new versions the speed improved but the issues not. In the desktop application still tasks could just jump over sprints, different things show or do not show up. Some UI glitches in various places.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clickup solves issues with project management problems and task tracking. Also, collaboration and communication among team members. Documentation development and maintaining. That all results in more clarity on project management and better project results. Allows easily to develop documentation.

  ### 23. Centralized Task Management with Room for Task Assignment Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshrajsinh B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like ClickUp's interactive UI and the built-in colors. They help me keep all my work organized in one place. I can track and manage all my activities and monitor progress, which is really handy. The dashboard is useful because it lets me see all my combined data in one place. Setting it up with my team of more than 50 people was very easy, and basic tasks like tagging someone and creating a timesheet are straightforward. I also use it to manage my tasks, time, and communication, all within a single application.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes when I create a task and want to assign it to myself, I accidentally assign it to someone else, and they get an unnecessary email notification. I think there need to be improvements in the task assignment process, like adding a feature to ensure tasks are only assigned to me unless intended otherwise. Also, the process of creating a task and adding descriptions is cumbersome since it requires me to open the sidebar and manage it in full screen. I think this could be simpler.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves the problem of managing tasks, time, and communication all in one tool, keeping my work organized. I can track activities, monitor progress, and view combined data on the dashboard.

  ### 24. Streamlined Project Management with ClickUp

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Audrey M. | Co-Founder / COO, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

As COO overseeing product and operations at Thematic, ClickUp has become essential to how our teams collaborate and stay efficient. The ability to track every status update, both within a ticket and across the entire workspace, gives everyone visibility into where projects stand without needing constant check-ins, which saves our team significant time. It creates a running knowledge base of our work history and product updates, so we can quickly trace when issues were first identified and how work moved between product and engineering. Tagging and commenting directly with specific team members makes cross-team collaboration seamless - everyone know exactly who's responsible for what and when it was completed. This level of organization has maximized our overall efficiency and made it easy to manage multiple projects simultaneously across departments.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The initial setup is the biggest hurdle - configuring boards, columns, statuses, and tracking workflows to match the team's processes can take a meaningful time investment. However, once that foundation is in place and workspace rules are properly configured, the platform becomes very easy to use.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp enables seamless cross-team collaboration. We also appreciate that it maintains organized records across our projects, maximizing operational efficiency. By logging every status update, it ensures accountability and builds a reliable knowledge base we can reference at any time.

  ### 25. The Central Engine Driving Our Service Delivery Compliance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Individual & Family Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The email integration automatically syncs participant communications into ClickUp tasks. This keeps our office operations audit ready.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp is powerful, its interface is cluttered and overwhelming, making the learning curve very steep for new users. Performance often becomes noticeably sluggish when managing complex task hierarchies. Additionally, the AI features feel like an expensive, bolted-on extra rather than an integrated tool. Because of this, onboarding new team members requires significant time and training to navigate the sheer number of settings.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing ClickUp, our coordination relied on fragmented email chains, leading to lost client information and significant administrative risk. Since centralizing our internal operations into ClickUp, we have created a single source of truth that ensures all communications are audit-ready and clearly linked to the relevant participant. This has resulted in a major reduction in handover errors and ensures we meet the standards. We now track service delivery requests with precision, allowing our Service Delivery Officers to record information accurately without the chaos of unmanaged inboxes. This shift has improved our response times, ensured strict adherence to internal compliance, and directly supported the safeguarding of the participants we support.

  ### 26. Pinnable Views and Powerful Search Make ClickUp a Workflow Win

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I make pretty heavy use of the pinnable views feature, and being able to visualise tasks in a variety of different ways is genuinely helpful to my workflow.

I use ClickUp across four different workspaces, each with a significant number of spaces and well into the hundreds of tasks at any given time. Even with large lists, performance and responsiveness stay consistently good.

We don’t have the AI assistant anymore, but when we did (I think during the initial demo period), the search was exceptional. I could find tasks based purely on a vague description of what I remembered from comments, even many months later.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Many of the issues I previously had with ClickUp have been resolved. One major problem for me for a long time was that I couldn’t decrease a timesheet entry—you could only increase it, and then it would create an additional entry for the difference. As far as I could tell, the only way to reduce time was to delete the entry entirely and recreate it, which meant going into the task itself or switching to a different view. That added a lot of friction to what should have been a simple adjustment, and I found it pretty frustrating. Fortunately, this has now been fixed, and the overall experience is much improved.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is the primary “bug tracker” for our software solutions. Being able to quickly add tasks, update their status, and attach screenshots or recordings—along with using comments and back-and-forth messaging with other users, all within the same platform—makes it much easier to keep everything in one place.

  ### 27. AI-Powered Search, Essential for Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harsh J. | Senior Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is the new AI feature. It helps me to find older messages from different chats with just a single search. This feature is incredibly useful as it also allowed me to locate a specific document that was six or seven months old. I must say, it's the most useful feature I've seen in any management software. Additionally, the search functionality is really powerful, efficiently finding keywords in older messages, including important information like credentials.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Basically, initially, when I started using ClickUp, that AI feature was not there. So the thing I will say that is improved is that, AI feature.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to manage tasks and documents for my team. It helps us differentiate and assign tasks to team members based on client needs, maintaining task status. The AI feature lets me find old messages and documents quickly, like searching for credentials using keywords.

  ### 28. All-in-One Task Management with Flexible, Customizable Views

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ritik J. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about Clickup is how everything is available in one place. Earlier, I had use different tools for task management, documentation, and tracking progress, but clickup combines all of that. The flexibility is also a big plus you can customize views like list, board,or calendar depending on how you prefer to work. It actually helps keep things organized without feeling too complicated once you get used to it.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

In the begining, it can feel a bit overwhelming because there are so many features and options. it takes to understand how everthing works. Alson, sometimes the app feels slightly slow when loading largerprojects, but it's not a major issue for daily use.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clickup helps me manage tasks more efficiently and keeps everything structured. it's especailly useful for tracking ongoing work and deadline. I can easily see what's see what's pending, what's competed, and needs attention next. it has improved overall productivity and reduced the chances of missing tasks.

  ### 29. ClickUp transformed our chaos into productivity with seamless integrations and automations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Noemi V. | QA Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I love most about ClickUp is how it has transformed daily chaos into a perfect harmony of productivity. Its visual interface (UI/UX) is a delight; the flexibility to switch between List, Kanban, and Calendar views with a single click allows me to organize my mind and projects in the way that inspires me most that day.

What really saved my life was the centralization: before, I used to waste hours jumping between applications, but thanks to its seamless integrations with Slack and Google Calendar, everything flows in one place. Additionally, the customized automations completely eliminated repetitive tasks, giving me back invaluable time to focus on creativity. It's much more than a task management tool; it's the engine that keeps my team motivated, aligned, and working with a smile. The return on investment (ROI) in peace of mind and efficiency is incalculable!

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

What I find most challenging is the steep learning curve at the beginning and the visual overload. Because the platform offers so many features and levels of customization, the onboarding process for new team members can be a bit overwhelming. At first, we spend quite a bit of time setting up views instead of working.

Additionally, at specific times of high data load, the performance of the web application can slow down slightly when loading very complex dashboards. I would love to see a slightly more simplified interface by default for users who only need to see their daily tasks, and an optimization in the loading speed of large boards.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before implementing ClickUp, we suffered from the dispersion of information. We had tasks in one place, meeting notes in another, and files scattered across different platforms, which caused misunderstandings and wasted time searching for basic data.

ClickUp solved this by becoming our single source of truth. Now, thanks to the ability to have chats, linked documents, and tasks in one space, the entire team knows exactly what to do and where to find resources. This has eliminated unnecessary alignment meetings, and we estimate it saves us between 3 and 4 hours per week per person, allowing us to meet project deadlines in a much more relaxed and efficient manner.

  ### 30. Complete and Interactive Platform, Ideal for Freelancers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lina H. | Architectural Intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I like your interactive platform, it is easy to use and visually comfortable. I love that I can track time and that there are various display options, like colors and emojis. I also appreciate being able to set dates and integrate members. It is quite comprehensive. I like the 'spaces' option, it helps me organize my company's themes. Additionally, I enjoy having options for Canva and a specific task setup for social media. Each space helps me divide my company's themes like social media, presentations, and partnerships, keeping all the information organized and knowing where everything is. Having the 'to do' option where I put loose ideas that, when I have time to develop them, are still there, I haven't forgotten that I had that idea in the past.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes it overwhelms me to have so many options and not know how to use them. I also feel that I am not making the most of what those options can offer me in terms of time optimization.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me coordinate all my tasks, visualize how much time I invest, repository of ideas, tasks, and organize information with thematic 'spaces' for my company. I like the 'priority' and 'progress' options; they help me see what I should do first and if I am advancing in the tasks. I really appreciate the 'relationship' option since in my job I must finish 1 task to start 3.

  ### 31. Enables Remote Operations Management with Ease and Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yousif H. | Business Development Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I appreciate that ClickUp has an easy way to integrate with other platforms, which can help bypass its current limitations, making it seem almost unlimited in its potential. Even with the constraints, this flexibility allows for a broadened scope of functionality.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One of the limitations in ClickUp is with the due dates. If you set an automation to move the due date one day forward once it is reached, it often moves to the beginning of the next day at 12AM or sometimes at 4AM, rather than exactly 24 hours later, like 8PM the next day. Also, the phone application is quite limited compared to the laptop program. For example, you cannot use tags in the phone application, so if you have triggers relying on tags you will always need to use the laptop.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp allows me to track tasks, oversee performance, and analyze data effectively, especially when working with remote teams. Its flexible features make managing various scenarios and automations efficient.

  ### 32. Exceptional Flexibility for Managing Complex Logistics Projects

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Radivoj N. | Distribution Center / Warehouse Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like most about ClickUp is its exceptional flexibility for complex logistical projects. I recently used it to manage the entire setup of a customs warehouse in Serbia, which involves strict regulatory steps, procurement, and facility planning.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The platform can sometimes feel a bit cluttered due to the sheer volume of features. When setting up the workspace for something as detail-heavy as customs compliance and logistics planning, it takes a significant amount of initial time to configure the spaces, statuses, and automations correctly. If you don't set it up perfectly from the beginning, the interface can easily become visually overwhelming.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My primary use case for ClickUp is managing end-to-end supply chain and infrastructure projects. Currently, I am using it to oversee the complete setup of a customs warehouse in Serbia. Setting up a facility like this requires strict process control. I use ClickUp to track everything from the initial layout planning and racking installations to the final regulatory approvals from customs authorities.

  ### 33. Time-Saving AI Search with Polished Tasks, Subtasks, and Rich Formatting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The AI search feature – easy to quickly locate a recent file you worked on. Saves me time because I don't have to click through multiple tasks to find it
The ability to use rich formatting in the description box and comments (great for using formatting to separate headings and provide feedback in comments)
The UX design of subtasks and how they fit within the parent task
Clear icons and buttons on tasks

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There's too much "noise" – home page/landing page is too busy. Makes onboarding very difficult because people who aren't used to the design/UX struggle to navigate the parts of it they need to focus on
Too many places to find the same things - adds to the overwhelm
Agenda items are cut off in calendar view
Can't easily see your specific assigned tasks or have them grouped by client in your agenda/today & overdue list

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Can see the status of everything at a glance, at every step in the process
Changing the status is easy enough for team members to do
Team members can see the "journey" of each asset, from first draft to publish date

  ### 34. Powerful for task management, but with room for improvement in performance

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucas Gabriel D. | App Dev Practice Lead (Engineering Manager), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp to track tasks, projects, and documentation. I really like their board, especially the way tasks are presented and how tracking can be done. With so many projects, ClickUp allows me to have a clear view of each task, the documentation, and focus on what's important. I also use ClickUp's MCP, which completely changed my experience.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I believe that ClickUp's performance is often not optimal and takes too long. Obtaining metrics within ClickUp is very difficult and unclear. Additionally, they have a UI overloaded with elements with many fields that I don't use. I have tried to extract metrics from the projects and had to go through a separate process to better understand the CSV because the ClickUp portal doesn't help me.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp for tracking tasks, projects, and documentation, and it provides me with visibility and traceability of time, allowing me to understand the status of projects at the delivery level.

  ### 35. Quick, Customizable All-in-One Task & Calendar Hub with a Helpful AI Note-Taker

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zsófia J. | PPC expert - freelancer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It’s quick and easy to use, and I can customize pretty much everything. I can manage all my tasks and calendar in one place, and set reminders easily. I also use the AI note-taker during meetings, which is really helpful.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I feel like ClickUp isn’t really optimized for solo business owners or freelancers. There are a few features I’d need – like more advanced time tracking, better dashboards, and some extra automations (for example, marking subtasks as done when the main task is completed). But upgrading to a higher plan doesn’t really make sense, because those are built more for larger teams, with a lot of features I wouldn’t use.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a marketer, my biggest challenge is time management, and ClickUp helps me handle that really well. I can work more efficiently, save time, and clearly see how much time I spend on different tasks. It also helps me track and evaluate my own performance.

  ### 36. Effortless Team Collaboration, Needs Faster Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ranjeet M. | Retention Marketing Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I use ClickUp for team collaboration, project management, and tracking progress. It saves us almost 50% of the time we used to spend earlier, and it helps the team collaborate effectively. I like the UI and how easy it is to manage the team and tasks. Workflow automation is a great help because it automates actions like status changes, assignments, and notifications. The initial setup was super easy; I did not face any issues.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I believe the customer support is something that could be improved. The time taken to resolve a query is slightly longer. I would just say that they should be more responsive and try to be solution oriented at the first raised concern itself.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use ClickUp to save time, enabling better team collaboration and project management. It saves us nearly 50% of the time compared to before, with useful workflow automation for status changes and notifications.

  ### 37. Custom Fields Make Splicing and Reordering Data Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebekah R. | Senior Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I find the ways you can splice and reorder data with the custom fields to be the most impactful for me and my team.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

large data sets take a long time to load, your support team changes hands on tasks too often and i feel like i often have to keep re-explaining myself or go unhelped, or both. there are areas of clickup i know could be customized and it annoys me when i can't. (ie pick the colors on dashboard pie charts)

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

simple automations have been a game changer for our team, they reduce time and ensure our processes move smoothly. the dashboards and reporting offer amazing insight for my team and our clients! now we have clarity around project status and an easy way to communicate with stakeholders.

  ### 38. Amazing tool. But more work Environment. A lot of cool things which ease managing tasks.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vitaliy S. | Director, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2021

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

New design is awesome also dashboard and Card management. But more then must is seamless integration with G Suite. It os really levelled up all. Works fast and reliable. And it is fine and fun to talk with Customer Succes Managers - they can make a whole day.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

I didnt't try everything they have so this time no idea yet.

**Recommendations to others considering ClickUp:**

Start to use now! Really.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Save time when creating new project WBS, task management, work management.
I spent a lot of time to find really awesome tool using which I have no sticking UI, boring, looking for a button. ClickUp developed just like I would develop it for me.

  ### 39. Streamlined Task Management with Robust Gmail Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I really like the ease of integration with ClickUp, especially how I can attach a Gmail to a task card and refer back to it later. It's fantastic for keeping my Gmail inbox empty because I don't just leave an email in my inbox and hope to get back to it later. With ClickUp, I can go ahead and create a task with it or assign it to an existing task, clearing it out of my inbox and knowing with confidence that I'll see it again during the week as I work through my tasks. My boss showed me how to set this up, and after figuring it out, I was completely hooked. Having a zero inbox policy is difficult, but with ClickUp, it's possible as it prevents things from slipping through the cracks. It's extremely valuable.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

The Workbook in ClickUp doesn't work as well for me. It looks very simple, but it's actually very complex sometimes, which makes figuring out how to get to things a lot of trial by error. Specifically, in the dashboards, I was trying to figure out a very nice pie chart, but couldn't determine what time period the pie chart was covering or how to adjust it. Also, the training modules initially seem kind of daunting and complex, but I think I'll get better at that through time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves task prioritization, allowing quick reviews, feedback, and reprioritization. I like attaching Gmail to tasks, keeping my inbox clear and ensuring nothing slips through.

  ### 40. ClickUp Brings Everything Together with Flexible, Powerful Team Visibility

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel H. | Principal Consultant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

What I like about ClickUp is that it brings a lot of work into one place. It helps with task management, project planning, docs, dashboards, and team visibility without needing a bunch of separate tools. One of the biggest upsides is flexibility because teams can customize it to fit different workflows, views, and ways of working. It also provides strong visibility into priorities, ownership, and progress, making collaboration and execution easier.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

One downside is that ClickUp can feel overwhelming because it has so many features, views, and settings. That flexibility is powerful, but it can also make setup, adoption, and day-to-day use more complex than necessary. The least helpful part is when the platform starts to feel cluttered or harder to navigate, especially for teams that just need simplicity, speed, and clear execution.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp is helping solve business problems around organization, visibility, accountability, and execution. It gives me one place to track work, manage priorities, assign ownership, and see progress across projects so things are less likely to fall through the cracks. It also helps reduce confusion, improve team alignment, and create more structure around how work gets planned, managed, and delivered.

  ### 41. Powerful All-in-One Platform for Engineering and Project Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilyes T. | Software Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I've been using ClickUp to manage software development projects, engineering teams, product roadmaps, and operational workflows, and it has become one of the most valuable tools in our organization.

What I appreciate most is the flexibility of the platform. We use custom workflows, dashboards, sprint planning, task dependencies, and automations to manage projects across multiple teams. The hierarchy of Spaces, Folders, Lists, and Tasks allows us to organize complex projects while maintaining visibility at both the executive and team levels.

The user interface is modern and highly customizable. Team members can choose between multiple views, including List, Board, Calendar, Gantt, and Timeline, depending on their role and workflow. The drag-and-drop functionality and customizable dashboards save significant time when managing priorities and tracking progress.

ClickUp's integrations have been extremely useful. We connect it with GitHub, Slack, Google Workspace, and various development tools, allowing engineering, product, and operations teams to collaborate without constantly switching platforms. The GitHub integration, in particular, helps us link development work directly to project tasks and sprint objectives.

Performance has improved significantly over the years. Even with large projects containing hundreds of tasks and subtasks, the platform remains responsive and reliable. The automation features reduce repetitive administrative work and help ensure that tasks move through workflows consistently.

From a pricing perspective, ClickUp delivers excellent value. It consolidates functionality that would otherwise require multiple tools for project management, documentation, reporting, and collaboration. This has reduced software costs while improving team productivity and visibility.

The onboarding experience was straightforward, and the support resources, tutorials, and documentation helped our team adopt the platform quickly. New users can become productive within a short period of time, while power users can take advantage of advanced customization options.

One of the most exciting additions has been ClickUp AI. It helps generate meeting summaries, create documentation, draft project updates, and accelerate task creation. The AI features reduce administrative overhead and allow team members to spend more time on strategic and technical work.

Overall, ClickUp has improved project visibility, team collaboration, accountability, and delivery efficiency. I would highly recommend it to organizations looking for a comprehensive work management platform that can scale from small teams to large engineering organizations.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

While ClickUp is a powerful platform, there are a few areas that could be improved.

The biggest challenge is that the platform can feel overwhelming for new users due to the large number of features, settings, and customization options available. Teams often need to invest time upfront to establish standards and workflows before they can fully benefit from the platform.

Although performance has improved considerably, some dashboards, large workspaces, and complex views can occasionally load slower than expected, especially when dealing with extensive datasets and heavy automation.

The mobile experience is useful for quick updates, but it does not always provide the same level of efficiency and functionality as the desktop version for managing complex projects.

The AI capabilities are promising and continue to improve, but there are times when the generated content requires additional editing to match specific business or technical contexts.

Finally, because ClickUp offers so much flexibility, there can be multiple ways to accomplish the same task. While this is a strength, it can also create inconsistencies across teams if governance and best practices are not clearly defined.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp solves several key challenges related to project management, team collaboration, visibility, and execution. Before implementing ClickUp, project information was scattered across emails, spreadsheets, chat applications, and multiple tracking tools, making it difficult to maintain alignment and accountability.

By centralizing tasks, documentation, sprint planning, reporting, and team communication in a single platform, ClickUp provides clear visibility into project status, priorities, dependencies, and resource allocation. This has improved collaboration between engineering, product, operations, and leadership teams while reducing time spent searching for information.

The automation features eliminate many repetitive administrative tasks, such as assigning work, updating statuses, sending notifications, and managing workflows. This allows team members to focus more on delivering value rather than maintaining project data.

For me as a Software Engineering Manager, ClickUp provides real-time insight into team progress, workload distribution, project risks, and delivery timelines. The dashboards and reporting capabilities make it easier to make informed decisions, identify bottlenecks early, and communicate status updates to stakeholders.

Overall, ClickUp has improved productivity, increased transparency, reduced manual coordination efforts, and helped our teams deliver projects more efficiently and predictably.

  ### 42. Highly Customizable ClickUp That Streamlines Client Workflows and Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Research | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

I love how customizable ClickUp is. You can set up each space to match the specific requirements of your project or operational needs, and link spaces together so you end up with a fully functioning system for your company. For one project that is implemented annual, we can use automations to interact with our 23 clients as they navigate various steps of the program. It saves us time in tracking progress and also gives the client immediate feedback as to what documents they may be missing. I also appreciate the ability to work asynchronously with my colleagues. We have more flexibility in our work day and can reference notes quickly in each task, reducing the number of meetings.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There is a bit of a learning curve. Since the platform is so customizable, it took some trial and error to see what features we wanted to use. We attended live trainings and ClickUp University to get a baseline understanding. Then I've found YouTube tutorials hosted by third-party ClickUp users to understand how to best design our platform for our needs. We're still in a learning phase, but I would say we have come to a good place where we are relying on ClickUp to "tell" us what to do every day, instead of referring to random sticky notes or emails. It's all in one place.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps us with organization for each project, serves as an ongoing "wishlist" as we continue to build our company, and is our primary timesheet.

  ### 43. Great Task Customization but Static Notes

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Garland H. | Account Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

list customizations (statuses, task type, fields), different list views, automations, color coding ability. I like that you can easily share notes and add urls to tasks.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Notes/Docs are not user-friendly and less customizable. I prefer OneNote.
Some automations don't work well and end up causing errors when I copy tasks to other lists. I don't like that custom field values don't automatically add to subtasks when parent tasks are created.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily individual task management and organization, as well as project management. It benefits me by storing all my notes, links, due dates, and statuses of tasks and action items. Keeps all my information in one place.

  ### 44. All-in-One Tool for Managing Projects and Tasks

What I like best about ClickUp is how flexible and customizable it is. It lets me manage tasks, deadlines, and team collaboration all in one place, so I don’t have to switch between multiple tools. The different views and automation options help keep work organized and make it easier to stay on top of projects.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

ClickUp can feel overwhelming at first because it has so many features and settings. There’s a bit of a learning curve, and sometimes the interface feels busy, especially when you’re just trying to manage simple tasks. Performance can also slow down occasionally with larger projects.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps solve the problem of scattered work and poor visibility across tasks and projects. By keeping tasks, deadlines, documents, and communication in one platform, it makes it easier to stay organized and track progress. Setting it up was very straightforward for me, since I had a clear understanding of what I wanted to measure from the start.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's not that good for quantitatively measuring project progress; recently, there have been some issues with updating tasks if several people are working at the same time.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me be more productive, manage my time better, and stay organized in both personal and work projects. It provides reminders for deadlines and helps keep my tasks in order.

  ### 47. ClickUp Inbox: clear and manageable notifications like a real email

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan R. | Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

On other platforms, notifications are a spam nightmare that you end up ignoring. In ClickUp, the Inbox works like a real email; I can clear alerts for tasks I've already seen, postpone others for tomorrow, and respond to comments directly from there.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

It's frustrating when I'm out of the office and I have to check on the team's progress through the mobile app. I wish it were as smooth as the web version.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved the issue of wasting valuable time reviewing documentation and its relationships to manage project progress, thanks to the association of tasks with documents, now it is easier to manage all types of projects.

  ### 48. Tracking and organization of projects

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex C. | Supervisor de proyectos, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

It is a very useful tool for advancing the tasks of the various projects we manage as a company. It helps us organize the work and track what is pending, which facilitates the overall progress of each project.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

A good rapport is maintained with the work team, which facilitates collaboration and the day-to-day.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The task assignment is very practical: simply open it every day, as if it were email, and you can see the progress of your team's tasks. It also allows you to review your pending tasks; it's great.

  ### 49. Smooth Drag-and-Drop Layouts That Save Hours Every Week

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tahir J. | English Teacher, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2026

**What do you like best about ClickUp?**

The drag-and-drop interface saves me hours each week—sections and subsections can be created and modified with just a click. Layouts can also be adjusted on the go. Overall, it’s a very smooth experience and really helpful for managing a plethora of tasks and projects.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

Sometimes, though not very often, tasks I create don’t show up in the relevant sections. It seems like a minor lag, but it can still be a little irritating.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps solve the challenge of keeping projects, tasks, documentation, and team communication organized in one place. Before using it, information was often spread across different tools, making it harder to track progress and maintain visibility across projects.

  ### 50. Highly Customizable and Great for Team Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** nessatimoteo T. | Internship Trainee

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2026

As a Customer Service professional, I find ClickUp to be a great tool for managing tasks, tracking customer requests, and collaborating with team members. The platform is user-friendly and highly customizable, which helps keep everything organized in one place. Additionally, its ability to keep everything centralized in one place saves time, improves collaboration, and ensures that important customer concerns are handled promptly. The seamless integration with tools like email platforms, Google Workspace, and Slack further enhances efficiency and productivity.

**What do you dislike about ClickUp?**

There's one area ClickUp can improve: its learning curve. Because it offers so many features and customization options, it can feel overwhelming for new users. The platform can also occasionally be slow when loading large projects or a complete dashboard. Simplifying the onboarding experience and improving performance would make it even better.

**What problems is ClickUp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClickUp helps me manage tasks and customer requests efficiently, centralizing all activities. It improves organization, reduces missed follow-ups, saves time with automation, and enhances team collaboration. This boosts productivity and ensures prompt handling of customer concerns.
