**What do you like best about Yotpo?**

I use Yotpo to manage images and customer reviews. I appreciate how it's very easy to use and set up. It was quick to get started, and I love how it makes it easy to showcase different customer reviews on product pages and category pages on our website, adding credibility. It's fantastic that customers get automated emails to leave a review, and we can send coupons too. Additionally, during the initial setup, Yotpo took all of our previous reviews and images and added them into the platform, making the transition smooth.

**What do you dislike about Yotpo?**

I want more layouts and visual options because our developer isn't able to edit the code much.

**What problems is Yotpo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Yotpo to manage customer reviews and images. It automates feedback collection and helps showcase reviews to build credibility easily.

The use is very simple. The configuration possibilities are very broad. The implementation is quick. They have agile support. The website generates more trust in the customers.

Sometimes, there is a change that forces us to tweak what we already have. But, it is quite normal with all websites and with any change that is made.

**What problems is Yotpo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is dedicated to collecting customer opinions. Verify that they have made purchases. Send them an email to gather their opinion and publish it on the web. All automatically and transparently. We can see how effective it is and what our customers think very quickly.

**What do you like best about Yotpo?**

I like Yotpo's interface, which I find good, but what really wins me over is how it interacts and connects with our Shopify system. It's very good. The integration shows the product really well, which is great for SEO. I also think the LLMs crawl out well, boosting trust scores and authority rank. The initial setup was incredibly easy.

**What do you dislike about Yotpo?**

I don't know how to actually integrate with other large retail players.

Yotpo lets us consolidate previews and integrate directly on our DTC website, building consumer trust.

What I value about Yotpo is its ability to highlight customer reviews, which not only promotes genuine interactions but also supports SEO growth and drives sales through firsthand experiences. I also find the platform very user-friendly, and the support team was extremely helpful during the implementation process. Since I use Sense daily, having an intuitive interface is especially important to me.

What I dislike about Yotpo is that while the platform is powerful, it can become expensive and overly complex especially as you add more of their modules.

Many online stores face challenges in earning customer trust, as shoppers are often reluctant to make purchases when they cannot find genuine feedback or honest user experiences. Yotpo assists brands by automatically gathering authentic customer reviews, star ratings, and user-generated content such as photos and videos, then displaying them on product pages to help new visitors feel more confident.

Yotpo has been a great partner to work with. The team is supportive and genuinely helpful. The platform’s UX is clean and intuitive, integrations with our ecommerce stack were seamless, and it’s been a huge advantage having reviews, syndication, and loyalty all managed within one platform.

No major dislikes so far. The platform’s been easy to use and the team is great about resolving any small questions quickly.

**What do you like best about Yotpo?**

Excellent customer service. Yotpo is a relatively new platform to us, but whenever I've had a question the customer service on the live chat has helped me everytime, really quickly so I can get back to helping my customer. It's really easy to make updates as well to our loyalty landing pages, especially as we've recently updated our branding and it took only a few minutes to do across 8 different online stores.

**What do you dislike about Yotpo?**

Sometimes we find loyalty points don't transfer over, but it's easily sorted and it's an incredibly low percentage of customers.

**What problems is Yotpo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us increase our customer retention, especially when the industry we're in is becoming increasingly more competitive. It also massively broadens our scope of being able to give customers choice of where to shop, particularly when it comes to promotions. Rather than a standard XX% off, we now regularly offer extra points, which in turn means the customer is more inclined to return to us in the future.

Reviews function well, requests are sent out to customers and they submit reviews, it doesn't require any maintenance at all. We get an email notification if someone submits a review under a certain number of stars. I also like the ability to quickly and easily give a customer a rewards voucher,

Yotpo does not have the option to automatically email someone if they are given a reward voucher.

While it may cost more than some other Loyalty and Reviews products, the dedicated support justifies the higher price.

With a catalog of over 100 products in our DTC lineup, customer reviews are essential for helping shoppers connect with and discover the products that best suit them. Additionally, having user-generated content on our site is vital, as it allows customers to see how the products appear on real people. We also have a very dedicated customer base, and we believe that our loyalty program plays an important role in rewarding and motivating their continued support.

Yotpo offers lot of functionality to run loyalty and rewards be it account referral, order placement rewards and it offers great option to setup new rewards quickly without doing lot of coding and easily integrates with UI.

Yotpo support is something that can be improved and improve their SLA for production issues and API documentation can be improved and sandbox environment support is something can be improved in lower environments.

Yotpo is helping us build loyalty construct in our ecommerce company, we are using to give loyalty points to customers, reward customers on referral and allowing redemption of those points on our ecommerce platform. From the start the team at Yotpo have been great partners to us. We work in partnership to outline our business objectives and create a plan to achieve them, their support team is responsive and timely, and they're doing great things to build community in the space. They also have an excellent product roadmap and are quickly evolving the tool.

On the email and SMS space they're lacking some key integrations.

Yotpo helps us streamline some key conversion drivers and retention drivers. We benefit from having reviews, loyalty, email and sms all in one place by being able to have rolled up dashboards showing how all of these factors are driving conversions, and are able to segment based on an array of factors.

We migrated to Yotpo from other platforms with minimal hassle. Integration with Shopify was seamless. The process was well supported and easy to manage. Having local customer support based in Australia has made a big difference for our team. Responses are fast, and it’s easier to solve problems in real time. It's my everyday tool. Their team is proactive in suggesting improvements and quick to fix any issues we raise. Overall, Yotpo is a reliable partner and I'm 100% satisfied.

I still miss features I had in previous platforms, but nothing that would harm my strategies and results

I don't love the support that we get from Yotpo.

Yotpo is allowing us to collect and show reviews for our website. But Yotpo is also allowing us to have a loyalty and referrals program to reward our customers for purchasing and referring other customers.

The most helpful thing about Yotpo is how easy it is to syndicate reviews. The platform is simple to use and our team was able to adapt quickly to it. Their customer support is amazing, shout out to Yamil! We use Yotpo daily to check our reviews on the site.

No downside as of right now, previously their customer service was a bit difficult to work with but it has improve significantly.

I've loved their innovation, they are always working on a roadmap of what's next in the space to out-run competitors. I've also loved my CSM's. They have helped me with problems big and small. Everything from bug fixes to strategy sessions, they have felt like an extension of my team!

Sometimes there are weird bugs that involve inconvenient workarounds. And I think the UI could be more pretty/user friendly.

Walmart syndication. However it's not turned on yet so can't comment if it works well.

**What do you dislike about Yotpo?**

I have constant issues with Yotpo 2-3 times / week. Slow loading, I'm talking 15 secs to load.

Below average / limited & outdated software / UI / UX. Lots of features are half-baked / illogical.

Their support is very hit-and-miss.

The knowledge base is not up to date & not detailed enough. Inside the software, it says to do one thing but the guide says to do a different thing..?!!

But I'm stuck with Yotpot cos my company needs it to syndicate the reviews to Walmart.
Otherwise, I'll be looking to move away from it already.

We work closely with customer succes manager Tal Barak, who really thinks in the best interest of our company. With new ideas we can improve the program every time. The loyalty and review program helped us grow in the last year and we can't wait what this year can bring.

We hope to add subscriptions to our website, but it's not compliant with the most frequent payment method in our country. We hope we can implement it later this year

There is nothing good about Yotpo.  I cannot say anything good about it.

For weeks we tried to get help to change our account email. Even though we already had a Yotpo account they were unable to transfer reviews to our new account.  Even though are on a paying account, their site bot keeps saying we are on a free plan.  Their support ticketing system seems broken.   We made NO progress.  The worst experience I've ever had.  Yotpo also made our site run much, much slower.

They overcharge and underdeliver. I did not like my experience at all. The best part was moving off the platform.

YOTPO was a complete disappointment and is not recommended. 

The birthday discount feature is a chaotic mess, causing issues with pricing, dates, and customer service. 

Support tickets lack basic functionality, and the support portal is a security disaster, they sent me a login as a rep, not a customer, and then just swept it under the rug. 

Contribution reports are unreliable. Their team even confirmed this! 

Their admin interfaces are a nightmare to navigate. If it was free, the user interface would be terrible. For $$$$ is a joke! 

Too many confusing reps. 

A dumpster fire of code in the web reviews widget makes matters worse. YOTPO's impact on site speed has been detrimental. 

The promised platform synergies are meh. 

SMS Bump is a usability disaster.

Meetings with their team are a waste of time. 

Other platforms have proven to be far more beneficial, while YOTPO has only added frustration, complexity, and countless hours of troubleshooting. 

The overcharge, which makes you think you'll get more. You won't. 

Avoid YOTPO at all costs.

What is most helpful about Yotpo is their Support Team. From weekly status calls to 24/7 availability, the support team has been instrumental in my company's implementation plan and ensuring everyone understands what tools and resources are available to each person's role.

There were a couple questions I had to ask clarification for regarding the Yotpo naviagtion pane on the website.

- Will allow our organization to level up our post-purchase solicitation. 
- Multi-brand pricing incentive
- New dynamic email templates allow a more consistent brand experience for customers post purchase.

- Some of the functionality promised to us by the initial sales team member was quickly proven to be incorrect information, this was discovered after our contract was signed. Very disappointing. 
- Inability to add "incentivized product" tags for product and review seeding as required by FTC regulations. Custom dev work required to develop a workaround.  
- Many questions unable to be answered by onboarding CSM.
- Email templates and customization of widgets has been more challenging than expected - support from Yotpo's dev team has been slow, continued delays and no followup. Once finally delivered 3-4 weeks later, widget was completely wrong (incorrect colors, fonts, and layout). 
- Overall, onboarding has been much slower than expected.

Yotpo solves the problem of outdated, and antiquated post purchase email templates and user experience. The clean and intuitive customer experience via email and sms will be a game changer for our customers, if we can finally get onboarded.

The only thing I don't necessarily like is that I can't block numbers from subscribing. There are some customers I don't want back on the platforms and its not easy to block.

The only downsides we've found so far are some semi confusing integrations but that may not be on yotpo end as it is a 2 way street

that it's an all-in-one tool. Having everything in one tool is handy, but even then their tools don't integrate very well together.  It feels like you are using different tools that have basic integrations between each other.

Reviews Pricing is based on orders processed and not requests. We use our store to process warranties, spare parts, influencer shipments, and subscriptions. All of which don't require a review request. 

Their Support team is also not helpful, it usually takes 10-15 back-and-forth messaging before we get new information, that is not available on the site.

It's easy to use with multiple sites, and toggling back and forth isn't an issue.  The categories they provide allow for further reporting than most other review sites.

A lag has not been addressed in the system, leading to delays and missed reviews.  Creating a pool for photos with reviews would be great.

I love that it has so many features in one app. It helps me level up my customer service.

I wish the SMS had more segmentation abilities.

It makes the subscription process so easy. I love the fast customer service. I love that everything is in one place.

  ### 49. Pricy, Bit Awkward, but Overall Good.

**What do you like best about Yotpo?**

Yotpo's offerings are the best on the market, bar none. Their team is deep and widely staffed, and the implementation process is very structured. Plus, our customers are loving it. I love the interconnectivity of the whole system as well.

**What do you dislike about Yotpo?**

Likely due to Yotpo's acquisition strategy to expand their offering of platforms, the experience with Yotpo can be awkward at times. The tools load tons of unused and irrelevant CSS and JavaScript onto our pages, causing slowdowns. We seem to stumble on a new bug within the system each day — one of which resulted in us texting customers who had not subscribed to texts. Lastly, their structured implementation strategy left us bending to their needs rather than feeling like we could get the system to do what we needed. This left the bulk of the work as a "phase 2" with their CSMs, who seemed surprised the launch teams pushed us off on them at the stage we were at. 

Overall, everyone we've worked with has been good, but the overall siloing of the experience just left us feeling growing pains. I wish we had just one dedicated rep who helped with all of it. 

Oh, and it's expensive.  I would not have gone with Yotpo if we were not utilizing multiple services from their offering.

**What problems is Yotpo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yotpo is providing us with a dedicated reviews, loyalty, and SMS platform. We likely would have gone with their subscription platform as well, but it was not in the offering set when we signed on. The interconnectivity of the apps is great, and each individual app is competent at what it does.

**What do you like best about Yotpo?**

We added the SMS, UGC, loyalty, and reviews widgets to our site and not only are they easy to use, but the customer success team is fantastic at walking you through any questions you might have. We're a really small team, so having that constant support made a world of a difference for us. Plus, it's been months since we launched these programs but we still meet regularly with their team to talk optimizations and how to reach our goals. I couldn't ask for more.

**What do you dislike about Yotpo?**

The on-site customizations are pretty limited unless you have a dedicated member of your team who is able to edit with CSS. But this is so small in the grand scheme of things, and I find that their pre-made designs are really intuitive and easy for customers to understand right off the bat.

**What problems is Yotpo solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SMS flows  (now that Shopify is discontinuing theirs) and campaigns (were nonexistent before), adding a loyalty program (which is increasing our returning customers and AOV), and now we have an easy reviews system that helps build customer trust for our products.
