**What do you like best about Phenom Applied AI?**

The most helpful thing about the Phenom is the ability to text candidates. Most people use that as a primary source of communication, so it's good to have that when an email isn't being responded to. I also appreciate the ability to make Alight-branded email templates to send to my candidates, which adds a great aesthetic touch to an otherwise very plain and generic email. Phenom is very user-friendly, which is helpful for those who are not tech-savvy.

**What do you dislike about Phenom Applied AI?**

There aren't a lot of things that I dislike about the platform. A lot of things I would change are more nit-picky items that would be helpful to me personally. For example, I wish the submitted screenings would automatically filter from first submitted to most recent. I also wish the order of the questions you're reviewing as a recruiter would be in the order that the screening questionnaire was created; helps with the flow of the review. Other than that, no other suggestions.

**What problems is Phenom Applied AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is automating a lot of tasks that were otherwise manual (i.e., sending automated emails when a candidate reaches a certain stage). I also appreciate having the option to do a digital screening complete with knockout questions in lieu of a phone screen.

**What do you like best about Phenom Applied AI?**

I like using Phenom Applied AI for FitScore and AI Discovery because it really helps us find the right fit for candidates and determines which candidates we should review first when we have a large applicant pool. It's particularly useful for sorting who might not be a fit and who could be the best fit. I use AI Discovery the most and appreciate seeing candidates in our CRM who could be a fit, as well as candidates who are not in our CRM. The initial setup was automatically added to our account since we've been a customer for some time, which made it very easy.

**What do you dislike about Phenom Applied AI?**

I think the actual matching could be a little bit better. We have to go in and update the job description for the matching criteria. For the AI, but we still will sometimes get people who aren't the best match.

Phenom Applied AI helps us find the right candidates, prioritizing them for review, especially with a large applicant pool. It simplifies identifying best fits and non-fits.

I find Phenom Applied AI pretty user-friendly and easy to use for the most part. It helps free up my time for other tasks, so I can focus more on sourcing or strategy rather than admin tasks. I also like that it handles high volume with speed and consistency. The Phenom staff is always friendly and helpful.

Sometimes there are glitches with the voice agent. She will sometimes stall out or talk a little wonky. Occasionally, the agent will be like 'thannnnnkkkkkkkkkkkkksssssssss' and stall out before proceeding. It's more rare but it does happen.

Phenom Applied AI helps alleviate manual screening with the voice agent tool and aids in sourcing candidates and messaging. It frees up my time for strategic tasks, handles high volumes quickly, and is user-friendly.

I like that Phenom Applied AI is very intuitive. I think the interface is pretty straightforward and well done, so I don't have to go through a lot of clicks and searches to find the matches. The percentages are right there. I also like that it's color-coded, which makes it a lot easier to see who to contact at a quick glance, like noticing a green checkbox for candidates. It's a part of our natural lives, like red lights and green lights, where green means go.

**What do you like best about Phenom Applied AI?**

I think one of my favorites aspects are the courses and certfications. It is nice how thurough and developed the trainings are for learning how to use the application. Also the Phenom Chrome Extension tool is something I utilize daily for work so I appreciate that and how easy it is to upload a resume and it auto-fills the candidate's profile. It has also integrated with our other software well because of the extension tool and also being connected to our career site.

**What do you dislike about Phenom Applied AI?**

The only thing I have struggled with is the always-on campaigns can't be used for dynamic lists, which is what I would want to use them for. For new matches in dynamic lists to get that always-on message, but I will say I am newer to using the application so maybe this is something I lack understanding on.

**What problems is Phenom Applied AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When folks apply it automatically allows them to enter who referred them, also the referrals are so easy to see since they get a purple little triangle next to their name, and all you have to do is hover over it to see who referred them. Our referral program is something we want to streamline and make easier for pulling for compensation and reporting, which is built into Phenom analytics.

**What do you like best about Phenom Applied AI?**

It's an easy-to-use program. The two-way integration is a game changer. The AI features are extremely useful and save a ton of time.

**What do you dislike about Phenom Applied AI?**

Until you set up the filters to sort out Rejeceted, and Withdrawn applications the data looks overwhelming. It wasn't until I got comfortable with the filters that I could make sense of the information in front of me. 

You should consider adding more filters or spotlights that have those rejected or withdrawn candidates removed.  Also we have 15 "Rejected" Statuses, and more withdrawn, clicking each one individually on the exclude filter is hard and time-consuming, there should be a way to exclude all rejected statuses at once.

**What problems is Phenom Applied AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use the AI Feature alot. In fact I've learned that I can program the AI to creat the emails, that read and resume and draft an email to the hiring managers as to why this candidate is a good fit. I haven't had success inviting leads to apply. I've sent over 1000 emails through  Phenom and not one has resulted in someone being interested or hired.

I like how in-depth the training is, and that there is a mix between videos and written information. It was helpful to have it broken up like that.

**What do you dislike about Phenom Applied AI?**

I did not like that the certifications had courses where you had to leave the certification you were currently taking to take courses from another certification in order to fulfill the requirements. It was also difficult to navigate the courses homepage and find the certifications I was currently working on and enrolled in. I also didn't like that if you got a question wrong on the quiz, it didn't refer you back to the lesson that would help you learn where you went wrong. The questions were also confusing, complex, and sometimes not fully correct. I even asked the Phenom Bot to clarify, and it gave different answers. If I got a question wrong, I would ask the bot, and it would explain an answer that indicated to me that my answer would have been correct. So there is mismatch information in the quizzes, or the bot is wrong.

Sometimes, pipelining candidates can be difficult. Phenom makes it easy to pipeline candidates for future opportunities.

Love the features which categorize applciation based on relevant experiences and skillsets .This would help Talent Acquisition team to filter application better and without prejudice. It is also good that Phenom has the features to indicate at which level of recruitment stage the candiate is at as this will allow us to monitor the candidate interview progress.

User friendly interface that drives adoption for candidates, recruiters, managers and HR leads. 

CRM, strong Career website, good XML integrations for common job boards, google jobs / glassdoor integration, good recruitment marketing capabilities and connection capabilitiesto social media (using UTM codes). 
Vacancy level & global data analytics. 
Solid feature update cycle, now including skills analysis, interview scheduling, agency portal, ...

**What do you dislike about Phenom Applied AI?**

Not a complaint ... just be sure to discuss and purchase all the features you expect in your end product. Some features may not be included as standard and could be an unexpected add on cost / implementation work. And this is true for all platforms, not specifically Phenom.

**What problems is Phenom Applied AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Upgrading to leading edge Recruitment Marketing capabilities. 
Giving career ownership back to employees in a transparent platform, encouringing internal moves / gigs etc. using AI to help guide users / employees. 
Talent Pooling talent using AI to support recommened talent as soon as they apply. 
Building a skills map of the company - suggesting learning / career moves to employees to close skills gaps.

I really like the option to sort my candidates into different lists and projects. It helps keep me organized and I know exactly what step each person is in my process for hire.

I really wish I could use the platform with outlook. As in, any email exchanges I have with candidates would sync to the CRM. I get a lot of email traffic that I must manually enter, and the only option is to put it as a note. So, either being able to add an email manually or have an outlook extension would be helpful.

On the surface, Phenom offers everything a Recruiter and Employer Brand Manager could want. A way to track where applicants come from, easy ways to house candidates in a CRM, streamlined ways to promote events, etc. all in one place.

Phenom is not without it's troubles. It can be a bit glitchy at times and not provide 100% accurate data, but this is the case with almost all products in this class.

The biggest plus for me is Phenom offers a singular place to house candidate information and tracking.

Not being able to add photo/images to SMS text message. Not all data from implementation import is parced out in a way that can be identified through the advance filtering search.

It's a lot of information and people occasionally get lost in the weeds. You need to implement a chunk at a time.

It is capturing data that our ATS is not effective at capturing. It's also giving us a platform to use to re-energize candidates that dropped off during the application process.

The ability to flawlessly communicate with candidates through the platform.

It is very difficult to track large numbers of candidates through Phenom, as certain automations aren't fully working. At this time, we also do not have visibility into when/if a manager received an evaluation request. When rescheduling an interview, it often defaults to making the event private. There have been instances where candidates reply to text messages, but we are not receiveing a notification via email.

Phenom has been a great scheduling tool, as well as a place to host all candidate application that we may have.

That it will not communicate with Workday more, some of the work we do is duplicated like note updates in Workday/Phenom. Notes have to be updated in both.

The ability to easily set up engagement and nurture campaigns to active and passive talent. It can be used to re-engage previous applicants, keep candidates warm as hiring teams make changes to the job, or whatever situation calls for nurturing talent and keeping them engaged in the hiring process.

It can take a while to fully grasp all of the functions within Phenom. It definitely took me a few months to fully understand the different between projects, lists, and spotlights; and why you would use one over the other.

One stop shop for candidate engagement. That is the main use that I get out of Phenom. Others within our team also uses Phenom for talent intelligence, tracking different metrics, etc.
