## Greenhouse Reviews
 ### 1. Intuitive ATS with Room for Scheduler Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saran K. | Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse as my ATS, and it really helps me track applications and manage jobs efficiently, saving me time and solving many problems. I like the simple UI and ease of access to the features, which allows me to navigate quickly to the sections I want and view accurate information easily. It's pleasing to the eyes and genuinely enhances my experience. The initial setup of Greenhouse was seamless, which was great.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

One thing which can be improved is the scheduling feature. There can be a scheduling assistant which can suggest you free slots. And while requesting availability, there should be a feature to add all the interviewers in one go - at the moment I don't see an option to add multiple interviewers to check their availabilities.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to track applications and manage jobs efficiently, saving time. The simple UI allows easy navigation to view accurate information quickly.

 ### 2. Greenhouse Streamlines Hiring with a Seamless, Traceable Pipeline

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick C. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse makes HR and referrals efficient. For hiring teams and those referring their peers - it makes the process seamless and traceable. The UI is straighforward and makes it easy to integrate within a hiring cycle.

Having the ability to see talent pipeline makes for an easy onboarding process

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

At the moment, I can't see any downsides to using Greenhouse. My experience with their onboarding has been very clean.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse makes it easy to track candidate pipeline and saves time switching between several tools. I can easily access all talent information within one place

 ### 3. New ATS Experience with Greenhouse

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan L. | Sr. Engineering Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 28, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like how the interface has changed and there are more features than previously featured. It's more navigable than before

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I don't like how when I'm reviewing candidates from the application review and there's a duplicate potentially that if I do recognize them as a duplicate and the profiles are merged it takes me out of the line of candidates I was reviewing and I have to go back. I also don't necessarily like that if I have a candidate no show and I forget to delete the interview, I have to wait some time before I can go back in an delete the interview. It's not the end of the world, but just an annoyance.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is able to help aggregate my job ad to many websites for more reach. I'm able to go through candidates more easily so that I don't have to sift as much as previous ATS's that I've used where information is harder to discern

 ### 4. Effortless Hiring Management with Greenhouse

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca G. | Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (Sales/Commercial), Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I find Greenhouse very good at staying on top of my applications and managing my process. I appreciate the data and analytics features which help me to understand my pipeline and share the details with my hiring managers about where we are in the hiring process. The initial setup of Greenhouse was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

There could be a better way to source for talent through existing applications.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Greenhouse helps me stay on top of my applications, manage my process, and understand my pipeline. It provides data and analytics to share with my hiring managers, clarifying our position in the hiring process.

 ### 5. Solid Candidate Profile UI, but Reporting Lacks Clarity and Usefulness

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The candidate profile is helpful in how it flows, the UI of the candidate profile.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The reporting function from effectively top to bottom. The UI/UX of reporting, the inconsistency across reports of what data is accessible, and the extractability/integration with other tools. We're having to build our own reporting and dashboarding system because Greenhouse reporting and dashboarding is not providing high-confidence, clear outputs.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is helping a recruiting team of six people stay on the same page with each other. It seems to be a decent interface for candidates and hiring managers are having a consistent experience with it.

 ### 6. Comprehensive ATS with Powerful Integrations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremiah K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love how Greenhouse combines industry-standard recruiting functionality with a great user experience. It handles the basics well, like candidate messaging, pipeline management, automations, and interview scorecards. I also appreciate its ability to integrate with other tools such as Google Suite, Calendly, and LinkedIn. The API is excellent for optimization and reporting, offering plenty of room for customization.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I find it challenging that Greenhouse is a standalone ATS and doesn't fully cover the end-to-end process for position management, like how positions are created, approved, and integrated into our HRIS. The separate onboarding module tries to help, but aligning Greenhouse with our HRIS needs quite a bit of effort. Also, the approvals object is too basic, as it's not possible to mark up or send things back to the previous approver.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse provides a positive hiring team experience with candidate management and raw data access. It offers solid recruiting functionality, useful integrations, and good API opportunities for automation and reporting.

 ### 7. Streamlined Scheduling, But Needs Information Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love the ease of scheduling and integration Greenhouse has with our business units. I also appreciate how easy it is to use for non-recruiters. It takes a lot of the manual back and forth away from scheduling, and in that way, it saves us time.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think Greenhouse could do a much better job when it comes to information. Greenhouse is at its best when you don't need to quickly see detailed candidate information. It takes a lot of clicks to view candidate communication history. For example, if a candidate applies to one of my jobs right now but I deem them a better fit for either a different role or company, when I move them to the respective job, I lose a lot of visibility in the pipeline when it comes to things like application question, or where they were in the process, it lacks that info.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to manage recruitment across different organizations. It simplifies scheduling interviews and unifies processes, saving time by reducing manual back and forth.

 ### 8. Smooth Hiring Process with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise B. | Talent Acquisition Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really appreciate how easy Greenhouse is to use. The buttons are easy to click, and the questions are very clearly stated, so there's no confusion about what's being asked. As a new user, I found the interface intuitive and simple to learn. My onboarding experience was very smooth because of its simplicity. I also love how easily Greenhouse allows me to organize candidates and quickly find the data I'm looking for, especially with its very usable search features. The setup was super easy too, with the help of an implementation specialist who walked through the entire thing, making it ready to go from day one. Plus, Greenhouse's integration with our HRIS system, Paylocity, makes everything work seamlessly together.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Nothing

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse ensures applicants are stored properly, helping me find the right candidates and keep evergreen roles posted. It's easy for teams to use and made my onboarding smooth. The search features streamline candidate organization and data retrieval, making hiring processes more efficient.

 ### 9. Streamlined Recruitment with Effective Integrations

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marilou B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse for recruitment and reporting, and I find it helps us stay organized, streamline processes, and ease recruitment complexity. It's a complete ATS with a lot of good features. I like how easy it is to use and that the experience for recruiters is great. The design is instinctive and easy to customize, which makes it simple to collaborate with different stakeholders at various levels. It's also easy to find all the information about a candidate in one place. Plus, I appreciate the numerous seamless integrations available with Greenhouse that complete our workflows, like DocuSign and Workday for requisition management and calendar tools.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The one thing about Greenhouse that can be improved is the pace of their innovation. The platform is fundamentally solid and complete, but with the rise of new technology and the change of reality of recruitment teams, I don't find them very quick to ship new relevant features.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps us stay organized, streamline processes, ease recruitment complexity, and access insightful reporting. It's easy to customize, collaborate on, and find candidate information. Seamless integrations like DocuSign enhance our workflow.

 ### 10. Streamlined Candidate Management with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ramona T. | Talent Acquisition Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the user interface of Greenhouse. It's really user-friendly, and I appreciate being able to sync it to my calendar. Being able to keep track of candidates is really nice. The features save me time, especially because I can send a scheduling request with one click instead of going back to my email to send an email to the candidate. I also like how Greenhouse sends the email straight from Greenhouse and then syncs it to my calendar. Additionally, the initial setup was extremely simple.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Going through the applicants is very time-consuming. If there was, like, an AI assistance to sort through applicants and find the most relevant ones, that would save a lot of time.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse streamlines candidate management, making it easy to sort applications and schedule next steps. Its user-friendly interface and calendar sync help me track candidates efficiently, saving time by sending scheduling requests directly from Greenhouse.

 ### 11. GH is solid

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abigail P. | Onsite Client Services Representative @ Guidewell, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

GH is pretty straight forward. You can't mess it up, but if you do it is very easy to correct.
It appears they are constantly working to improve the platform however some of the changes aren't always as user-friendly as the outdated processes. But its nothing that you can't get used to!

Also - the GH customer service chat is INCREDIBLE. The people who have assisted me are beyond amazing, kind and very patient! Very knowledgable.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I wish you could select multiple resumes at once ON a req, and do bulk actions that way.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

not sure

 ### 12. Easy to Use for Hiring Managers and Candidates

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizbeth V. | sr tech recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

easy to use, easy for hiring managers. the usaility for candidites too

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

i hate the new UI its not intuitive i want to have the ability to go back to the old look

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

easy to scheudule things and the scorecards are nice at the eng but a pain at the beggining

 ### 13. Streamlined Single-Page Interview Reviews with Detailed Feedback and Scoring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I can do the interview reviews in a single page, adding all the inputs and feedback on each of the characteristics we have to evaluate being able to put comments on each one and a score.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Given the amount of information and aspects to evaluate, if a concept or criteria of evaluation is not clear is hard to find a place where I can see that information in a concise manner to continue my interview assessment,

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to asses the interviews I do, help me to put all the feedback there so other people from the recruitment process can take a look to that and take it into account for further interviews.
It helps me to upload new referals to the company that can potentially be hired.

 ### 14. Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System — An Honest Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristy H. | Manager of Employee Experience and Corporate Affairs, Financial Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Flexibility and functionality of it. InteIt's built around defining interview kits, scorecards, and structured feedback before you start interviewing — which helps reduce ad-hoc, gut-feeling hiring and keeps evaluations more consistent across interviewers.grates well with other systems.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

.Some users report slower support response times, especially without a premium support tier.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RecruitingWithout a centralized system, candidate info, resumes, and feedback end up scattered across email threads, spreadsheets, and Slack messages. Greenhouse centralizes everything — application, resume, interview notes, feedback, communication history — into one pipeline view per candidate.

 ### 15. Good overview of pipeline

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica P. | UX Product Designer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Nice to see the LinkedIn connections encourage me to reach through my social network. Would be nice to see the referral bonus mentioned to encourage me to use it.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I would love to see the rate of hire and number of applicants for each job. I think that would encourage me to go to greenhouse more often to get industry knowledge vs now I just think of it as a task I must do. It would also help if Greenhouse knew my role and me kept up to date on current job openings within my field of work.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse is centralizing all the recruitment materials and feedback as well as making the recruitment process more transparent. You can see where a candidate stands and what targets your company has hit.

 ### 16. Streamlined Global Recruitment with Powerful Automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like Greenhouse for its automation, customization, and ease of use. It reduces the manual lift in the recruitment process and provides hiring managers direct visibility into pipelines. It allows for quick workflows through features like automated interview scheduling. I also value Greenhouse's ability to automate processes, its reporting capabilities, and the ease of use along with scorecard feedback.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I find the global language functionality lacking. It's very English/US-driven and needs better seamless integration of languages based on region or location. Additionally, the initial setup of Greenhouse required high touch integration and a dedicated team which can be quite demanding.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse creates a consistent hiring practice, offers a global view of open roles, and removes many manual processes. It reduces manual lift in recruitment, provides direct visibility to pipelines, and facilitates quick workflows with automated interview scheduling.

 ### 17. User-Friendly, Scalable Platform with Great Customer Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

It’s a user-friendly platform that feels robust enough to scale with as our needs grow, without becoming overly complicated from an internal user standpoint. Customer support has also been great!

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I’d say there’s room for improvement in the implementation support we received, but the team was very open to hearing our feedback about the experience, which we appreciated. Also, some views require more clicking than necessary, and we’ve submitted feedback on that as well.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a system we could grow with, and we also wanted support that’s readily available whenever we need it. This system delivers on both.

 ### 18. Greenhouse allows for simple Job Management with room for improved automations

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that Greenhouse is easy to navigate, making it simple to follow-up on information internally and run simple reports. Greenhouse helps us manage applicants and schedule interviews by providing an easy user interface and great functional tools. Greenhouse allows us to get information to the right people quickly and manage our internal tasks efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Initially, a few of the integrations were a little clunky to set up. Not all of them, but some. We need to look more into how to set up some automations, because most of our people work in Slack and don't necessarily need to go into Greenhouse daily.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Greenhouse for managing open jobs, coordinating interviews, determining applicant fit, and ensuring information is quickly accessible. It helps streamline internal processes and scheduling, making our operations more efficient.

 ### 19. Easy-to-Use Platform with Smooth HRIS Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse has an easy-to-use interface and integrates cleanly with our HRIS, BambooHR. While I’m not on the recruiting team and therefore don’t use the tool day to day, I do rely on it as part of my HR Operations work. It’s straightforward to navigate, and I can quickly find the information I need when I’m in the system.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

N/A - I do not use Greenhouse enough to comment.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to use for recruiting. The organized interface is helpful for me on the HR Ops side.

 ### 20. Breath of Fresh Air

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marlene S. | Vice President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Functionality
Ease of Use
Support
Their team understands not only their products but our roles and best use of their products in each

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

We are a small company and many new features are only available for customers who have the higher tiered accounts.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy and seamless recruiting

 ### 21. User-Friendly, Multi-Job Boards, and Strong Reporting with Easy Implementation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexis M. | Head of HR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

user friendly, ability to have more than one job board, reporting feature, easy implementation.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Inability to search phone numbers; Cant differentiate whether someone is scheduled within a stage; merge feature is not intuitive. Multi-applicant candidate profile is confusing. Application Review page could use work. More features, notes, etc.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple job boards, everything is in one place. One source of truth.

 ### 22. User-Friendly Recruiting Tool That Does Exactly What Recruiters Need

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa F. | Owner - Staffing & Recruiting Consulting, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

How user friendly it is to use and how it does what most recruiters would want it to do

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I wish you could extract the feedback in a cleaner way, combine feedback and see a one pager with thumbs up/thumbs down so you can clearly see all feedback in one spot to see how a candidate did, and then maybe breakdown the feedback more specifically per interviewer.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to track and manage workflow

 ### 23. Easy to Use but Needs Improvement AI

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like most about Greenhouse is the ease of navigation. I find it to be a very intuitive platform, which makes it pleasant to use. Also, the ability to customize is important to me in an ATS, and Greenhouse offers many options in this regard, including templates and other customizable options.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

For my part, what I find as a shortcoming of Greenhouse is the sorting of resumes. We know that in the era of AI in 2026, there is a significant influx of applications that can come in for each of our positions. It's an interesting problem to have, but it takes the right tools to handle that volume. I think Greenhouse could really improve in this area and implement AI features for processing incoming applications. There are some options, but they really don't meet the current needs. So, if it were possible to have something perhaps a little inspired by LinkedIn, to be able to set up searches to really target the right profile, it would be very interesting. Also, if there was a possibility to have an artificial intelligence option to look at the job requirements and highlight the relevant resumes, it would be a huge plus for Greenhouse.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse centralizes all the information on applications, ensuring a positive experience for candidates and allowing for rigorous tracking to avoid forgetting any.

 ### 24. Easy for HR Teams to Use, Even Those Who Do Not Recruit Day To Day

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Manufacturing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Ease of use for HR teams (even those who are not in the recruiting space)

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think that some of the features and reporting is not as intuitive and requires deeper dive sessions

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us as we grow and scale - it's been our HRIS for 3 years now and has seen us double our headcount over the years. It's been a handy tool that's kept up with the times. Allows us to focus on our own growth and internal matters

 ### 25. Transfer from ICIMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Woody S. | Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love the ability to move around in the system and change things without a PHD in the platform. It is intuitive. The interface is nice and we are learning about more functionality every day. I really enjoy the reporting as well wow. he calendar is great and the new buffer is pretty cool.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I am just learning about the tiers. I don't think we are in the right tier level so I think that will help our issue. I like the not finding what you are looking for and apply here on the website as well as I need communication of where offer approvals are in the process. If HR approves it and the VP approves it and it is sent to the SVP I wish they would get a notification.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A resume database and tracking has always been my main goal. The reporting is a very nice to have.

 ### 26. Streamlines Recruitment with Automation, Needs Interface Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa H. | Mrs., Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse as our recruitment platform. It streamlines our process by allowing us to view everything going on with candidates for specific roles and of course candidate profiles in general. The automation feature is really helpful, as it makes our job easier by handling tedious tasks that would otherwise take up more time. With automation, we don't have to manually trigger emails in bulk rejection situations or when moving candidates to the next step; the system takes care of that, allowing us to focus on other important recruitment tasks. The staff at Greenhouse is really fast at responding in chat and willing to think in line with my needs. It's also simple to adjust to, which was great for our team.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I find that having to have the bright colored screen in Greenhouse kind of affects me throughout the day since I'm having to work in the system all day, five days a week. So, that would be a nice option to have. Also, I think a bit more integration capabilities would be helpful because Greenhouse and Webex can integrate, but not to the full extent that we need to. We can automate scheduling for recruiter interviews, but not for the following stage interviews due to the complications in the integration process.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse streamlines our recruitment, allowing us to view everything going on with candidates and automating tedious tasks. It saves time, especially with automating email triggers for bulk rejections, letting us focus more on recruitment activities.

 ### 27. Intuitive, Structured Hiring That Keeps Teams Aligned

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Giuliana R. | Jr Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I appreciate most about Greenhouse is how intuitive and structured the platform feels. It streamlines every step of the hiring process, making collaboration between recruiters and hiring managers incredibly smooth. It helps teams stay aligned, organized, and focused on finding the right talent.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The only thing I dislike is that certain tasks require too many clicks, which slows things down when you're managing a high volume of candidates.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse solves the challenge of keeping the entire hiring process organized and consistent. It centralizes candidate information, communication, and evaluation in one place, which saves me time and reduces the risk of things slipping through the cracks. The structure it provides helps me move faster and make more confident hiring decisions.

 ### 28. Responsive, Supportive Help Whenever You Need It

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Warehousing | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that when I reach out with a question, someone is there right away to help. Everyone has been responsive, supportive, and genuinely willing to assist whenever I need it.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

It would be nice if it were a bit more advanced and customizable, especially for certain configuration tasks we’d like to be able to tailor more precisely.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s constantly evolving and taking our needs into consideration, especially with the analytics updates that are coming out to provide more accurate data and make it easier to share clear results with teams.

 ### 29. Streamlined Hiring and Collaboration with Greenhouse

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kellie R. | Lead Talent Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I appreciate most about Greenhouse is the way it brings order, consistency, and collaboration to the hiring process. With everything centralized—scorecards, feedback, scheduling, and reporting teams remain in sync, ensuring candidates enjoy a more seamless and professional experience.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

While I appreciate many aspects of Greenhouse, my biggest frustration is around Talent Matching. During the sales process, Talent Matching was presented as a key feature and it was a major reason I selected Greenhouse over other ATS options.

I was explicitly told that our organization would have access to Talent Matching after implementation. However, after onboarding, I learned that the feature is not available to us, and still isn’t today. This has been extremely disappointing, because:

Talent Matching was the deciding factor in our purchase decision

It was positioned as a core differentiator in the sales conversation

The lack of access has forced me to find workarounds and manual sourcing paths

It erodes trust when a key promised feature isn’t actually included post-sale

As a recruiter who’s managing the entire company’s hiring, Talent Matching would dramatically improve efficiency, reduce time-to-fill, and strengthen top-of-funnel quality. Not having access feels like a significant gap between what was sold and what was delivered.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse has significantly improved our scheduling efficiency and coordination across hiring teams. The platform’s scheduling features especially calendar integrations, interviewer availability tools, automated reminders, and bulk interview scheduling have reduced the back-and-forth and allowed us to move candidates through the process faster and with fewer errors. It’s helped create a smoother, more consistent interview experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Overall, Greenhouse has meaningfully improved workflow management and scheduling, but the lack of access to Talent Matching remains a major missing piece especially given it was a deciding factor in our adoption.

 ### 30. Seamless Candidate Management, Slight Integration Glitches

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samara C. | Limited Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like how easy Greenhouse is to use for interviewers and hiring managers. Moving candidates through the process is pretty simple and easy. I also like that it hasn't changed too much over the years, making it easy for me to use even after ten years. That ease of use is one of my favorite things about Greenhouse.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think sometimes the integrations aren't as ideal, and we're not able to pull as much information as we want from the tool. So our analytics team has some frustrations there. I do think the new user interface was a big change, so I think that was really tough when they make changes they recently made a bigger change than some of the smaller ones that we got used to.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse simplifies tracking interview scorecards and moving candidates through the interview process. We can do structured interviewing and hire directly to roles, improving compliance. Its integrations make it a one-stop shop for our candidate database needs.

 ### 31. Effortless Application Tracking and Referrals

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saksh P. | Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

What I like best about Greenhouse is how simple it is to track my job applications and referrals. I can easily see where I am in the process, what stages are coming up, and any updates without having to chase someone down. It’s also really straightforward to submit referrals and keep an eye on their progress. Overall, it just makes the whole experience of applying and referring people much clearer and less stressful.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The interface can also feel a bit plain and not super intuitive

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse addresses the issue of uncertainty in the hiring or referral process. Rather than having to guess or repeatedly check in, I can conveniently monitor the progress of my applications or referrals all in one location. It keeps everything well-organised, including stages, updates, and any necessary actions. This level of transparency makes the entire experience less stressful and allows me to stay informed without the need for constant back-and-forth communication.

 ### 32. Convenient Recruiting Tool with Minor Annoyances

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like how Greenhouse makes it easy to view people and keeps everything all in one spot. I don't have to go to multiple platforms, which is really convenient.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think there should be a section for a photo in Greenhouse, so we know who we're hiring or can put a face to the name during the process. I understand why they might not have this feature, but it's annoying. Also, the initial setup seemed to take forever for the recruiting team, though I'm not sure if it was easy or hard.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse because it makes it easy to view people, and I don't have to go to multiple platforms; it's all in one spot.

 ### 33. Feature-Rich and Always Improving with Timely Updates

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

There’s a tremendous number of features available, and Greenhouse stays on top of the latest tech by rolling out new, relevant updates that give companies a clear reason to keep using the product.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

It's a lot at the start, can be overwhelming. You need to take the time to train on it, learn and understand what it has to offer vs what your company needs.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From a TA perspective, Greenhouse helps bridge the potential gap between the Recruiter and the Hiring Manager by serving as a single source of truth for the hiring process. It keeps everyone aligned and in sync, with updates and alerts shared across all involved stakeholders.

 ### 34. User-Friendly Greenhouse with Seamless Workday and Goodtime Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is user-friendly and easy to navigate as an HR professional. I’ve been able to complete coordinator, recruiter, and TA Ops specialist tasks seamlessly. The tool communicates well with Workday and Goodtime, and has shown a variety of benefits after we've integrated tools.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse can be a bit glitchy and laggy at times. Some tasks still require significant manual effort, such as building out an interview plan, which isn’t always ideal.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

New AI tools such as Talent Match seem like a great way to boost efficiency and cut down on manual tasks. Being able to produce raw notes and refining with AI assistance is definitely a plus as well.

 ### 35. Comprehensive, User-Friendly ATS with Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony T. | Director of People & Talent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is probably the most comprehensive ATS available. In my experience, it's been helpful for both smaller and larger companies. Any time I've ever had a question or didn't know how to do something, customer support has been there to help me quickly and efficiently. As a talent acquisition professional, it's the tool I use every day. Although it can seem overwhelming, I find it pretty user-friendly, from basic use to its ease of integration with other tools we use internally. Implementation is pretty simple as well for both non-tech-savvy users and experts.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

One thing that makes Greenhouse stand out the most is the amount of customization you can have across all jobs. This, however, comes at a price: it's very easy to end up with messy data with all that customization if teams aren't on top of consistency.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing thousands of applicants in one place, from inbound to prospects, and being able to have a user-friendly platform where anyone from a coordinator to a hiring manager can access a candidate and know precisely where they are in the process, along with who has been in touch with that particular candidate.

 ### 36. Streamlined Hiring with Excellent Integration Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan S. | VP of Talent Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I really appreciate how Greenhouse provides a space to manage all candidates, postings, hiring activity, and communication for our hiring process. It's structured in an easy-to-use, easy-to-train format. I also like the ability to collaborate across teams and expedite processes. Hiring a candidate in Greenhouse and then pushing them into our onboarding module in ADP is wonderful as it removes the manual process of hiring in our HRIS, removing duplicative efforts.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I would like for more fields to move over from Greenhouse to ADP without having to pay for extra modules that I don't need otherwise. There are still some challenges in getting some of the fields to flow over appropriately.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse manages candidates, postings, and hiring activities efficiently. It facilitates team collaboration and expedites processes. Integrating with ADP eliminates manual hiring processes, reducing duplicate efforts.

 ### 37. Streamlined Candidate Tracking with Room for Reporting Improvements

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like that Greenhouse is a one-stop shop for anything to do with candidates, from aggregating information to housing feedback and submitting offers all in one place. It makes my life easier by allowing me to track candidates throughout the entire life cycle without needing to use different spreadsheets or formats. I also appreciate being able to go in, track data, and report back on it.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think the reporting has some areas for improvement. I wish that it was easier to put together custom reports or that there was more options to adapt the dashboards and more flexibility in those.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps track applicants from the application phase through the hiring decision and reports to the team on performance. It simplifies candidate tracking throughout the lifecycle, preventing the need for multiple spreadsheets or formats.

 ### 38. Intuitive and Customizable ATS with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bill B. | Managing Director, Defense & Space, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse for our company's applicant tracking system. It provides a job board that candidates can use to view and apply for our open roles, and it allows our internal team to move candidates through the hiring process. I find Greenhouse intuitive, customizable, and innovative. It automates many routine responsibilities of a recruiting team so that we can focus on the people side of things. The implementation team was supportive and instructions were clear during setup.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I wish we could use natural language prompts to search the resume database.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse provides a job board for candidates and helps our team move them through the hiring process. It automates many recruiting tasks, allowing focus on the people side.

 ### 39. Super User-Friendly Experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney C. | Talent Aquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

super user friendly, easy to use and uptime for new users is almost immediate

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

some of the new functions dont work well. frustrated with timezone issues, inability to update interviews if you use outlook for multiple users, teams links disappearing if an interview is rescheduled

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

managing heavy recruiting efforts

 ### 40. Restrictive, Unintuitive, and Overpromised

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food & Beverages | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

The reporting is alright and gives a good overview, but it also depends on how well you built the infrastructure in the beginning.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The platform is not intuitive, and the design elements are incredibly restrictive. Despite claims of compatibility, integrating third-party tools is nearly impossible due to a poorly optimized backend; we’ve actually been forced to part ways with multiple providers because the integrations weren't seamless. While external providers are highly flexible, getting any meaningful support from the Greenhouse development team is a big challenge.

Additionally, the scheduling feature is a major pain point. It is limited and cumbersome, requiring far too much back-and-forth communication before an interview is actually confirmed.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has not been benefiting us. It's causing more restrictions than we expected. The only good element is that we can track our recruitments.

 ### 41. Effortless Applicant Tracking with a Beautiful Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Britteny S. | Director of People Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse as my Applicant Tracking System and CRM to communicate with the talent pool base, and it truly enhances my recruitment process. I love how all my applicants are housed in one place, which allows me to stay in touch with multiple candidates simultaneously. This feature helps me run a smooth process and receive feedback from interview teams, enabling quick hiring decisions. The interface of Greenhouse is fantastic and generally easy to use, which is something I absolutely love. It's really easy to go through workflows from different starting points, which adds to the usability. Moreover, the software is aesthetically pleasing, making it a joy to use. The initial setup of Greenhouse was very easy, contributing to a hassle-free start with the platform. On a scale from 1 to 10, I would absolutely recommend Greenhouse to a friend or colleague, rating it a perfect 10.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I wish I could source from different sources via Greenhouse.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse centralizes applicant data, streamlines candidate communication, and accelerates hiring with team feedback, greatly enhancing our recruitment efficiency.

 ### 42. Exceptional ATS for Structured, Collaborative Hiring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Elizaveta K. | Freelance Human Resources Consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

Greenhouse is very strong as an ATS and works well for structured hiring. It makes it easy to collaborate with hiring managers, track candidates, and keep the process organized. The interview planning, scorecards, and reporting are especially helpful, and it supports more thoughtful, consistent hiring decisions.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

The system can feel complex and a bit heavy, especially for smaller teams or fast moving roles. Some workflows require a lot of clicks, and certain changes are not very intuitive.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse helps bring structure and consistency to the hiring process. It keeps all candidates, feedback, and interview stages in one place, which makes collaboration with hiring managers much easier. Because of that, we have better visibility into the pipeline, fewer things fall through the cracks, and hiring decisions feel more organized and data driven.

 ### 43. Effortless Recruiting and Referral Process

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Caitlyn C. | Medical Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I use Greenhouse for recruiting, employee referrals, and job postings. I love how it simplifies the recruiting and referring process, making it simple to use and easy to understand. It's easy to refer others to my company, and it's also convenient to view available jobs. Referring others is straightforward: we just enter a person's information, Greenhouse sends them an email with the application, and we can easily check the status of their referral. It's very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I really like greenhouse, don't have any complaints right now.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse simplifies recruiting and referrals, making it user-friendly. I find it easy to use, understand, and refer others to my company. It's also convenient to view available jobs.

 ### 44. User-Friendly, Highly Customizable Hiring Platform with Great Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

User friendliness. Almost fully customizable. Candidate friendly. Allows me to standard the process. Features I most enjoy:

-access customization
-interview kits and scorecards
-intergration to careers page
- integration to linkedin recruiter
-auto postings to job boards

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Pricing. I do wish it was a bit more affordable for orgnaizations at my companies size. I can't say we are getting a full ROI for the price.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use it to track candidate progress and to access legacy data (e.g., candidate interview feedback, documents, profiles, etc.). It also helps with controlling other users’ access while still giving them visibility and a sense of participation in the process. On top of that, the metrics and report generation are useful for reporting to senior leadership.

 ### 45. Robust Features, but Overwhelming to Navigate

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabby R.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like using Greenhouse to keep track of candidates along the pipeline, know when offers go out, and see which candidates have applied more than once. It's really helpful for keeping track of candidates in the recruiting process, especially when there are hundreds of applicants. I appreciate being able to view candidates in the applicant review mode, which allows me to see the entire resume, including work history, education, and the most recent experience. This feature helps me see the facts without bias and determine if a candidate's experience aligns with the role we're hiring for.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think one of the pains that I'm feeling in Greenhouse right now is that it is so overwhelmingly got a lot of features, and we don't use more than half the features. The plan that we're on was initially to do the DEI reporting, but hardly any candidate ever completes that portion, making it difficult to determine hiring trends with diverse candidates. I also don't like how including images into Greenhouse has to be done through Imgur. I feel like that's a very poor design, and I wish I could just upload images within Greenhouse instead of using a third party. The initial setup wasn't easy but it wasn't hard. The rep that worked with me did a good job of helping me get set up and checked in frequently enough at the beginnign that I didn't feel totally lost. The only downside of that initial setup is that they couldn't map interview questions into the system very cleanly, all the notes from Level lived in the notes section in Greenhouse.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to keep track of candidates in the recruiting process, especially when we have hundreds of candidates. It's really helpful to know about offer status and see if candidates applied more than once.

 ### 46. Good Customization but Complex Setup

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corina C.

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the ability to customize scorecards per role and interviewer in Greenhouse. I also appreciate being able to ask role-specific questions and have them already inputted, so I don't have to copy and paste every time. It's helpful to track what questions hiring managers ask in their interviews.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I don't like not being able to view jobs by the hiring manager. In Lever, it was easy for me to visually sort all my jobs by the hiring manager, so when I did my check-ins, I could pull up all the jobs in one click and go through the pipelines. The implementation and setup process was long and much more complicated than Lever. It took a couple of months to set everything up with our CSM.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse for tracking all applications, storing scorecards, tracking candidate interview processes, and creating and sending offers. The ability to customize scorecards per role and interviewer helps me with role-specific questions, reducing repetitive tasks.

 ### 47. Effortless Recruiting with Seamless API Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denis M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I love how Greenhouse's recruiting resources make the team's job much easier and save a lot of time. The API is very easy to use and speeds up the hiring process perfectly. I appreciate the simple visual interface and the easy ways to find needed information. I mostly use the APIs for Offers and Candidates, as I find them very helpful and practical to use. The reports are also very easy to use. Additionally, the initial setup of Greenhouse was very easy.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think the Department API can be improved. After created, we can't change the parent_department_external_id using the Patch API.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse makes recruiting much easier and faster with its simple API and visual interface, saving our team a lot of time.

 ### 48. user friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Poorna C. | Human Resources Trainee, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

easy access to work and to scheduling the intevriew's and frequent usage.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Nothing to improve more as it is already user friendly ATS.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Greenhouse ATS primarily solves the problem of efficiently managing and tracking candidates throughout the hiring process, from application to onboarding. It provides a centralized platform for recruiters and hiring managers to manage their entire recruitment workflow. This helps streamline the hiring process, improve communication within hiring teams, and reduce errors and duplicated efforts.

 ### 49. Centralizes Recruitment with Intuitive Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle G.

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like the user experience of Greenhouse because it's very intuitive. That's something that I really like about it. I appreciate the shared visibility feature, which is important to me as a manager to have visibility into all the work being done. I also love the data, reporting, and analytics features within Greenhouse, which I definitely leverage to ensure we're making informed hiring decisions. Greenhouse makes it easy to show where things are blocked and where process improvements can be made.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

I think the reporting can continue to be enhanced. Right now, it has primarily basic reporting functions. Oftentimes, I have to export the data and then kind of play around with it and filter it outside of the app. I would love to do more of it inside of the app or inside of the platform itself.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to centralize candidate tracking, providing full visibility into hiring. I love the data, reporting, and analytics features for informed decision-making.

 ### 50. Efficient Integrations, Clear Interface

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Greenhouse?**

I like Greenhouse because it's really clear and has good integrations. Our tech team is able to set up integrations to our HRIS and our comms tool, which save us a lot of time and manual work.

**What do you dislike about Greenhouse?**

Occasionally it's hard to find the new hire's profile if they have applied to multiple jobs. It would be great if duplicate profiles could be consolidated more clearly. This may also be our Talent team not using the tool optimally.

**What problems is Greenhouse solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Greenhouse to facilitate the handoff of information from Talent to People Ops teams, and its integrations save us a lot of time and manual work.
