What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I use Greenhouse as our recruitment platform. It streamlines our process by allowing us to view everything going on with candidates for specific roles and of course candidate profiles in general. The automation feature is really helpful, as it makes our job easier by handling tedious tasks that would otherwise take up more time. With automation, we don't have to manually trigger emails in bulk rejection situations or when moving candidates to the next step; the system takes care of that, allowing us to focus on other important recruitment tasks. The staff at Greenhouse is really fast at responding in chat and willing to think in line with my needs. It's also simple to adjust to, which was great for our team. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

I find that having to have the bright colored screen in Greenhouse kind of affects me throughout the day since I'm having to work in the system all day, five days a week. So, that would be a nice option to have. Also, I think a bit more integration capabilities would be helpful because Greenhouse and Webex can integrate, but not to the full extent that we need to. We can automate scheduling for recruiter interviews, but not for the following stage interviews due to the complications in the integration process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Greenhouse?

What I appreciate most about Greenhouse is the way it brings order, consistency, and collaboration to the hiring process. With everything centralized—scorecards, feedback, scheduling, and reporting teams remain in sync, ensuring candidates enjoy a more seamless and professional experience. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

While I appreciate many aspects of Greenhouse, my biggest frustration is around Talent Matching. During the sales process, Talent Matching was presented as a key feature and it was a major reason I selected Greenhouse over other ATS options.

I was explicitly told that our organization would have access to Talent Matching after implementation. However, after onboarding, I learned that the feature is not available to us, and still isn’t today. This has been extremely disappointing, because:

Talent Matching was the deciding factor in our purchase decision

It was positioned as a core differentiator in the sales conversation

The lack of access has forced me to find workarounds and manual sourcing paths

It erodes trust when a key promised feature isn’t actually included post-sale

As a recruiter who’s managing the entire company’s hiring, Talent Matching would dramatically improve efficiency, reduce time-to-fill, and strengthen top-of-funnel quality. What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I like how easy Greenhouse is to use for interviewers and hiring managers. Moving candidates through the process is pretty simple and easy. I also like that it hasn't changed too much over the years, making it easy for me to use even after ten years. That ease of use is one of my favorite things about Greenhouse. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

I think sometimes the integrations aren't as ideal, and we're not able to pull as much information as we want from the tool. So our analytics team has some frustrations there. I do think the new user interface was a big change, so I think that was really tough when they make changes they recently made a bigger change than some of the smaller ones that we got used to. What do you like best about Greenhouse?

What I like best about Greenhouse is how simple it is to track my job applications and referrals. I can easily see where I am in the process, what stages are coming up, and any updates without having to chase someone down. It’s also really straightforward to submit referrals and keep an eye on their progress. Overall, it just makes the whole experience of applying and referring people much clearer and less stressful. What do you like best about Greenhouse?

Greenhouse is probably the most comprehensive ATS available. In my experience, it's been helpful for both smaller and larger companies. Any time I've ever had a question or didn't know how to do something, customer support has been there to help me quickly and efficiently. As a talent acquisition professional, it's the tool I use every day. Although it can seem overwhelming, I find it pretty user-friendly, from basic use to its ease of integration with other tools we use internally. What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I use Greenhouse as my Applicant Tracking System and CRM to communicate with the talent pool base, and it truly enhances my recruitment process. I love how all my applicants are housed in one place, which allows me to stay in touch with multiple candidates simultaneously. This feature helps me run a smooth process and receive feedback from interview teams, enabling quick hiring decisions. The interface of Greenhouse is fantastic and generally easy to use, which is something I absolutely love. It's really easy to go through workflows from different starting points, which adds to the usability. Moreover, the software is aesthetically pleasing, making it a joy to use. What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I like how flexible Greenhouse is when it comes to setting up every aspect, whether it be permissions or job-based.

The interface is generally easy enough to navigate that most new hiring managers need minimal training to get started.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

The email relay they use has issues with ending up in spam and junk folders, this can be remedied but it does crop up again from time to time. It would seem something they should be working to fix given their competitors use a different system to prevent this.

What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I find Greenhouse incredibly user-friendly, which stands out compared to other similar software like Workday and Taleo. Its intuitive interface significantly reduces the ramp-up time for our TA team, making onboarding much quicker and more seamless. I appreciate the excellent support team, consisting of chat and assigned customer success managers, who are consistently responsive to immediate concerns. The product team is impressive, constantly iterating and rolling out new features that enhance the usability of Greenhouse for talent acquisition teams. Moreover, Greenhouse integrates effectively with other platforms within our tech stack, such as Calendly, BrightHire, and UKG, which streamlines various processes such as scheduling and interview management. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

Some features are not currently built into Greenhouse. I want a feature that allows copying permissions from one user to another, which would streamline the process of managing user roles. Additionally, the lack of capability to revise referral links and the limited fields available for API connections are constraints that need attention. The integration with Calendly could be enhanced to allow scheduling directly from the candidate view instead of just the candidate pipeline view.
