One challenge with Infor Talent Science is that sometimes highly qualified candidates may score lower on the assessment, which can make it difficult when the talent pool is already limited. I like the detailed breakdowns of candidates' strengths and weaknesses that Infor Talent Science provides. They allow me to tailor certain interview questions to examine these opportunities for improvement more closely. It helps create a more well-rounded view, prior to the actual interviewing process, of a candidate's potential strengths and weaknesses.

**What do you dislike about Infor Talent Science?**

Sometimes a candidate scores low but is actually a great candidate. It seems like there are times where the system is way off. I'm uncertain how to improve this, but sometimes my best candidates are rated in the 50s and some candidates in the 90s are not well suited. This could be an issue with test taking skills. Also, it could use better integration with Indeed ezApply.

I like that I can see how a candidate responds across different areas of the question spectrum and then make a judgment based on those answers. sO i CAN SEE HOW A CANDIDATE RESPONDS AND MAKE A PLAN IF I WANT TO HIRE THIS CANDIDATE OR NOT.

I don’t like the fact that this may feel a bit intrusive for some candidates, and they may shy away from using the product. My only concern is that some people might see this as a bit too much to go through just to find a job.

I think there’s a benefit to using the product because it gives me some insight into how a candidate responds to certain factors. The person’s responses feel real and help us make a judgment about whether they will be a good worker or not.

It speeds up the recruitment process. The assessment also helps us gain valuable insight into how a potential candidate might perform in the role, which in turn supports better hiring decisions.

Some candidates have had difficulty accessing the website through the link provided. The workflow stage for handling submitted assessments also takes a bit of getting used to, and it isn’t immediately intuitive at first.

**What problems is Infor Talent Science solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool helps give recruiters time back. Previously, I screened each candidate virtually or by phone, and each screening took around 30 minutes—sometimes more. Now I can cut my portion of the process roughly in half when connecting with candidates, which lets me reach more people each day. It’s also helpful to have an interview guide available for managers to use while they’re interviewing candidates.

I always have issues when I want to view the report now with it not loading. I have to do print and send to my email however every few months that doesn't work either and I have to have someone do it for me. We like to view the report with their score that they don't receive and save it to their internal file.

It allows us to see how equipped someone is for a specific role but I also like the comparison to other roles that might be a better fit. It also as I said helps us build teams with strengths and weaknesses.

I enjoy that Infor Talent Science gives me an all-around assessment, which is helpful because a lot of our interviews are very short. This allows me to get a quick overview of the applicant and decide whether I want to forward them on or not. The initial setup was very easy, and our representative made it particularly simple and was very informative.

**What do you dislike about Infor Talent Science?**

I think it makes my job more laborsome and cumbersome because first, I have to review the candidate, then send it on for assessment, then review the candidate again, and then decide whether I wanna do a phone screen. Where before, I only had to do one stop. And when you only have a handful of candidates, you do have to review them all anyways, so I don't always see the value then.

I use Infor Talent Science for first assessments of new candidates. It gives me an all-around assessment quickly, which is helpful since my interviews are short. But, it adds extra steps, making my job more cumbersome with multiple reviews and decisions.

I find Infor Talent Science to be an easy platform to navigate, which is a big plus for me. The genuinely helpful information it provides assists in deciding which candidates to move forward with during recruitment. It's also useful for creating interview questions. I like that it's easy to find candidates and see the roles they applied to. The information helps me figure out how an employee might perform in different spaces within my organization. The setup was easy, with lots of support provided.

For me ,the summary, scorecard and interview questions are the most helpful when I am reviewing a potential candidate for an interview. The summary helps me identify the candidates strengths, the scorecard helps me identify the percentages of where the candidate’s behavioral characteristics fall in relation to the ideal range span for the role and the interview questions are specific to the candidate based on their score.

The amount of information provided is quite substantial and there are occasions when I may not have enough time to read everything in the talent science page about the candidate.

**What problems is Infor Talent Science solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Talent science not only helps me discern which candidates are the best match for an open position’s job duties, but it also helps me determine how each candidate would fit with my existing team and whether they would be a strong behavioral fit within the group.

The ability to compare against our organization's position profiles, interview guide and detailed summary and overviews. I have never used a talent tool in the past and this makes recruitment alot more insightful and intentional.

I am a new user so haven't seen many potential inefficiencies but at times, I know my team has shared concerns with the Talent Science portion/section/tab not appearing on candidate's applications. 
 I also had a candidate confirm completion of assessment but was not available until the next day.

Capability, skill, communication, leadership, work style, motivational, behavioral, cultural alignment and gaps. I have received positive feedback from managers that it's very accurate.

I like how easy Infor Talent Science is to read and how you can hover over different things to get little snippets. The interactive features like the expanded explanations are great. It provides me with a really nice insight into what kind of person I'm bringing into the building, and it helps me understand candidates better through the questions they answer without pressure. The initial setup was extremely easy since all I had to do was click on a link and send my candidates to the same page.

Everything's kind of vague. It could be a little bit more explicit in which situations he answered, in what way that made him show that he can improve.

Infor Talent Science gives me insight into candidates’ interactions, work ethic, and honesty, eliminating the need for an extra interview and offering a stress-free way to assess them.

That is a fair question about seeing a more direct understanding of the situation as candidates complete the assessment. If you haven't already, you can take the assessment for yourself and learn a little bit about your own natural tendencies at work. I attached a link for you to use. 

The assessment is formatted to collect GENERAL behavioral presences since they can be applied across a variety of roles. Taking it for yourself is a good starting point but we're happy to discuss more if that would help.

Sometimes the report does not show results right away or it isn't integrated with the ATS we are using.  It can be time consuming to get the info I need.

**What do you like best about Infor Talent Science?**

I like that it takes the personal bias out of candidate skill evaluations. It gives you a tool to measure their skills and abilities and assesses whether a person has the skills and abilities to perform the role that they are applying for.  This helps the company make better hiring decisions and helps candidates identify the areas they need to develop more in for that role.

**What do you dislike about Infor Talent Science?**

I think the assessment itself is very long, which could discourage people from completing it. Also, some people simply don’t do well on assessments in general, and that can scare off an otherwise strong candidate. While I understand that it provides objective results, I don’t think it should be used as the only factor in hiring decisions. For example, at my company you can’t become a Recruiter unless you “pass” the assessment, and I’ve seen many great candidates rejected for that reason.

Infor Talent Science helps identify a candidate's ability to be successful in their role by evaluating what skills, values, and personal traits they have.  It compares the results of the assessment with the traits and skills that would fit best for a type of role. The benefit of this is to ensure people are evaluated in a consistent manner, taking the bias out of the equation. It provides measured results to make decisions off of which helps you reduce turnover  by reducing the amount of employees who are placed in positions they are not well suited for.

**What do you like best about Infor Talent Science?**

I like that Infor Talent Science uses machine learning and intelligence to identify employees who best fit roles and predict future roles that align with them. It effectively takes the work off HR business partners by using data to figure it out. I'm impressed by how it helps analyze employees' current paths and strengths, identifies their future paths, reduces costs in the long run, and increases the average tenure of employees.

**What do you dislike about Infor Talent Science?**

I think the biggest annoyance is the questionnaire to fill out ahead of time, 75 questions is a lot to do for many different employees. It's a huge time draw. Perhaps if it could be automated a bit more by using AI more in the front end to watch and see common trends among workers.

I use Infor Talent Science to predict job paths and inform employees on career directions. It saves HR time by using data to find role fits and future roles, reduces costs, and increases employee tenure.

**What do you like best about Infor Talent Science?**

I like the behavioral assessment/fit piece that it provides for candidates, which gives insight into some soft skills and emotional intelligence factors. It also provides additional questions based on responses. I just recommended this to someone at a conference a few weeks ago.

**What do you dislike about Infor Talent Science?**

I'm not certain if it's a feature that isn't active at my organization, but there is never a score in the qualifications fit of a candidate's record. Candidates are able to apply to multiple positions for which they may not be qualified. It would be great if the qualifications component could flag this and provide a visual cue to the applicant, asking them to attest to the qualifications for the position. If the qualification fit was active, it could potentially reduce the need for recruiters to have to view each candidate before putting them in my queue for review. 

The ability to go back and edit an application to identify a referral source would be great.

The behavioral profiles feature is great! It’s like having a crystal ball that shows how well someone will fit into a role and a team and it's customizable to your company! The platform is user friendly and the insights are spot-on. Plus, their support team is fantastic, super knowledgeable and quick to help.

If I had to pick something, it’s that a few candidates drop off during the assessment stage, some applicants are deterred by the extra step.

It’s taken the guesswork out of hiring. We can spot the best fit candidates easier and earlier and build teams that work well together. It’s also helping us keep hiring consistent and fair.

There’s very little downside to Infor Talent Science. If anything, it just doesn’t seem to be widely known in my circle yet. As more people start using it, I think it will only get better.

I like that it takes assessments that can be completed at time of hire and utilizes the information not just for screening but for onboarding, development, and team building.  It is also easy to implement and itegrate with our ATS and the Infor team is very responsive.  The dashboard is easy to use and provides lots of different view and options.

There are many aspects of the assement that bring value, however, we have found that the humility predictor is spot on. Also, we will utilize the assessment results after a colleague leaves the organization to determine if there were any signs in the assessment that the employment would end in the manner it did.

**What do you dislike about Infor Talent Science?**

One downside is, when sednig the assessment with the score, your hiring manager may only focus on the score and not read the assessments. We reccomend sending the assessment without the score, encouraging the hiring manager to read the assesment thouroughly.

It provides a better understanding of who the applicant is.
